I just want to acknowledge a few good prople at coggin ford who has made my car buying experience an awesome one ...i was looking for a preowned Kia Sorento and coggin ford had it . I would like to say thank you Meagan, Adrian, Larry and Joseph these good people here deserve an award for their patience , their kindness , their professionalism and understanding . They collectively worked together to my deal successful and for that I truly grateful. I would buy a car from them any given day . I drove over 300 miles and it was definitely worth the drive. Any one out there looking for a car to buy call coggin ford they will make your car buying experience a great one. Again thank you guys and I hope we can do business again in the near future.

f i could give them less than one star, i would....I went to look at the ford focus that was recently reduced to $6995. The used auto dept manager should be terminated for allowing the vehicle to be put up for sale. The interior of the vehicle was clean but the stench of cigarette was clearly evident. That's the nice part of the vehicle. Even the sales rep was embarased to show the vehicle. She drove it to the front and as i approached it I could tell the driver side had a dented scratch from the wheel well to the rear quarter panel and across the front and rear doors. As I went to the passenger side, the mirror had been taped to the vehicle and the hood was clearly impacted with hail, dents and scratches. Coggings should be ashamed- they're clearly trying to sell junk. Seek out other dealerships when referencing their used car inventory. If the manager approved to sell that, he should seek employment in a salvage yard.The standards are undefined and the general mgr should review whats going out on the lot.

I made an inquiry on line and Lisa responded and made a appointment for me to come into the dealership. I met with Lisa and looked at the cars I was interested in. She explained the car features very well and made comparisons to other cars as well. Adrian stopped by to help me decide on the right car and worked hard on getting me a load that I could afford. We buy all our cars here. They are so accommodating and I always know I can get the best customer service. I recently leased a car and I always use Paul C. He listens to me and understands my needs. He always goes over and above to complete any transaction. As I usually say, all I do is pick out the car and he handles everything else! He makes car buying easy and stress free. We were thinking about buying a new car. Our first thought was "Why don't we go see what Coggin Deland Ford has to offer?" We bought 3 vehicles from them in the past so we felt confident From the time we exited our Focus we were greeted by a pleasant gentleman II am a disabled woman and he was very solicitous of my condition and very helpful. We entered the showroom to see Mr. Kevin Lebeau.. Kevin sold us our previous vehicles. The showroom was welcoming and very clean. Mr. Ken Sidana came over and introduced himself in a very pleasant manner. Then we began our negotiating with Kevin Lebeau. Kevin is such a nice person to deal with. He explained everything about the vehicle we were most interested in. His sales style is perfect for me. Sometimes male salesmen can be quite condescending to women; but not Kevin. He answered all our concerns and questions.. We went for a test drive. We were impressed with the Ford Escape. Because of my disabilities Kevin pointed out our concerns; ease of entering and exiting, room for my wheelchair/walker plus new features our Focus didn't have. We were very impressed with Kevin. Our concerns became his concerns---he matched us up with a vehicle love but also that serves our special needs. Our experience at Coggin Ford of Deland was such that we would definitely recommend them to our friends We'd say, "go to Coggin Deland Ford. Be sure to ask for Mr. Kevin Lebeau. He'll take good care of you just like he did for us."

BUYER BEWARE!!! This dealer does not deliver what they commit to. Its a total bait and switch.. As a consumer that spent 30,000 at your establishment, I expected them to live up to what their team committed to. Beyond disappointed especially when I was told that the "former employee" in warranties apparently had similar issues with other customers. Does this not validate what we are saying... This guy worked for you. He was your employee. You should take care of your customers that he took advantage of in order to line his pockets with commission! Best advice to any other consumers... Don't just walk away from this dealer--RUN!They take no responsibility at all...Spend your money elsewhere!

I went to this dealership because the paint on my 2014 Mustang was peeling after being told by Louise that Ford is probably not going to cover that she submitted the warranty claim anyway. I heard back within 1 hour that indeed this is a warranty issue and it will be covered. She asked since she did so much work that do the service there. When I went to schedule the for the repair I was surprise to hear ford does not offer loaner cars for those impacted by warranty issues. I explained to her that both my wife and I work and we could only do it the week my wife was off work. After several back and forth phone calls I finally got it scheduled the week I needed. This was suppose to be a 2-3 day job so I dropped off on Sunday night and by Thursday when I didn't hear anything I had my wife call and see what was going on. She was told that they couldn't match the paint right and it should be done that day if not on Saturday. After not hearing anything my wife called again on Saturday this time they forgot to do the side panel and won't be done until Monday. Needless to say my wife got upset because she got a who attitude and no apology so she hung up and had me call to see why this simple paint repair still is not done. Louise then changed her story and said that my wife was told that they had to order a part and that it wasn't in and that they would give us a rental car and then she had the nerve to say she did not appreciate my wife's attitude. Who is she to tell me that. Monday came and went as did Tuesday and still I have heard NOTHING about the status of my car. Finally Wedesday 5 days after it was suppose to be done I get a call that it is ready. I go pick it up and tell them to gas the rental 3/4 before they return it, I thought I was lease they could do. Louise told me she was disappointed in me that I would expect that and I should be lucky that Ford is paying for the repair. This whole experience is unacceptable and I will never go to this dealership again. All this could have been solved with COMMUNICATION and empathy.

Out driving decided to stop and look at new cars, had previously taken our car to Coggin Ford for service and love how Mike handled our visit so we showed up looked at 2016 Escape and after short period of time drove away with what we wanted. Just leased a new Ford from this dealership. Amir the internet manager was awesome. I am a driver when I buy and want what I want. He was patient and with help from Jennifer got an amazing deal. It a hometown feel dealership which I like. 5 minutes from my house. I met the sales manager and he was awesome also. Will look to them first when in the market for a new car. Do you know how to tell if someone at this dealership is lying, their lips are moving. Never, have I dealt with a dealership that bases it's whole practice on misleading the customer. As soon as you accept their offer the prices goes up. The salesman even admired tome that he is instructor to tell the customer anything to get them in the door. The sales manager is the worse, his lies were not even good ones. My father was a car dealer and none of these people would have lasted a day at his dealership;

Bought my F150 super crew in Dec.2014 was very happy with deal I got my sales person was good to deal with in January I noticed one of the speakers was not sounding right and it just got worse so this Monday I called Kevin Lebeau my sales person he said to bring my truck in and would see about getting it fixed he got me with a service rep who I don't see his name below but checked it out and said he would have a new speaker today he called me this morning and had the part went in and got it fixed. Batteries went bad in my Diesel truck while on the road. I had both my sons in the truck sleeping and in need of assistance. Paul Szupello stopped what he was doing, completed all paperwork, brought batteries and paperwork to me at the truck so I did not leave my sons alone. I was able to get back on the road only set back a few minutes. I really appreciated his selfless service and willingness to get us back on the road safely. I went to buy a new truck from this dealership I explained the deal I was looking for and the vehicle I wanted. As you would expect the salesman and "the closer" both tried to sell me a vehicle I did not want because the truck I wanted was at another dealership. They of course lowballed my trade as expected and got with in $15 dollars per month over the term of the loan. Which our first conversation stipulated what I would pay and what I wouldn't pay. We couldn't agree after the "closer" tried to manipulate the deal in his favor I walked out with no deal. One week later Ford increased the incentives and I had made a payment on my current truck. I called the salesman and told him I knew of the increased incentive (Trade assist) and the fact my payoff was lower due to the payment made by me. The difference of those two things put the original deal where I wanted to be from what I told him. He called me back about an hour later and told me because my payoff was lower and the ford incentive was increased the deal was now not in their favor and would actually increase my monthly payment? Nice try Buddy and you think I am not gonna call you out on it? SHADY SHADY SHADY stay away from these guys they are out to screw you!

Our salesman. Chuck, was very helpful in every way. He brought out a manager who explained how leasing works. Our prospective trade - a pristine, $71,000.00, 2004 Lexus LS430 with only 35K miles drew a lot of attention from the mangers.I cautioned one manager to not insult me with a wholesale trade price since we knew fully well what we had.After a period of time watching them work up the numbers with lots of discussion while looking at the computer, a Customer Service manager sat with us to discuss the numbers all of which were confusing and the important item - our trade value - was missing. I HAD TO ASK what the trade in price was. He lowballed me like he was dealing with an ignoramus. He raised the value $2,000.00 without hesitation. After much discussion over lease payments and buyback costs, the Customer Services manager offered to work up a no-payments-for-cash-up-front arrangement. He returned stating for $3,250.00, we would not have to be bothered with monthly payments for the three year lease. We demurred. He lowered the amount three times to $2,000.00 to close the deal that day. We went over the numbers at home and discovered that if we took his "great deal" we would not only have to pay that up front money, we'd have no equity at the end of the lease as opposed to getting an immediate $10,600.00 check with the monthly payment plan. This is known as a sin of omission. I should have backed out then. We also discovered found that we would be paying more than $600.00 over the figures printed on the form. Going back to the dealer, Larry, a sales manager, apologized and added $600.00 to our trade in price.An MKX with the options we wanted was driven up from Ed Howard Lincoln in Sarasota with a sticker stating that $1,690 in dealer installed upgrades had been done. Later when I called that dealership to acquire the warranty for the $1495.00 paint protection upgrade the manager told me "it wasn't done and I know for a fact that the dealer we got the car from didn't do it". I was shocked. Also, the carpet floor mats were not in the car and I had to tell them that from home. Chuck was extremely helpful and ordered them - three (3) times. The wrong mats came in the first time and someone took the second order. The passenger door needed adjustment and they re-painted the pin stripe. Nicely done.Finally, we realized, too late, that at the end of the lease if we bought the MKX, we would be paying full list price for it even though a $3500.00 incentive was applied. Next time I'll pay cash.Thanks, Chuck, for all your assistance in helping us through this.

Visited Coggin Ford in Orange City / Deland to test drive a 2014 Mustang GT. I was greeted at the door by one sales associate (don't remember name), who promptly told me that he was waiting on a customer delivery and handed me off to another sales associate inside, Don Luciani. I was up-front to both the first associate, and Don, that I was there just to test drive a car and that I was not interested in purchasing today. I informed them that I received an invitation to test drive a Ford when attending the Fort Lauderlade Auto Show in March with the incentive of receiving a $50 MasterCard gift card. I also was up-front about being interested in the 2015 Mustang coming out later this year and that I was test driving the 2014 to get a feel for the changes. Don informed me of the three Mustangs that were on the lot, and I chose to test drive one of them. After the test drive, I was inquiring about taking a look at the seats included in one of the Mustangs that I did not test drive, to which Don replied "well if it's open we can look at it". As if it would be a lot of work to go inside and get the keys. Lucky the car was open. After we got back inside, he presented the question "So are you looking to do anything today?", at which point I re-stated once again that I am only test driving to see if it's worth getting the 2014 with all of the incentives available now, or wait for the 2015. Don then said "well all of the incentives are online, you can check them out there. I've got a customer waiting for me." and he pointed at a couple speaking to another associate outside. I spoke with another associate after leaving, and was told of two people who I should request to speak to regarding purchasing Mustangs from this dealership (Alan and Tom). I will be following up in a few weeks/months to test drive another car before the 2015's start hitting the lots. Speaking to the last associate on my way out saved this review from getting 1's across the board. Hopefully management takes note and teaches their sales associates that in this day and age, customer service is king. A relationship has to be built with the customer to make a sale.

We showed up at the dealership before it was open and Chuck McDonald,the sales consultant, greeted us and immediately started taking care of us. He was very nice and informative and not pushy. If he did not know an answer he looked into it for us. He brought his supervisor Paul to meet with us who was also very helpful and very knowledgeable. We visited a lot of dealerships for 2 days but chose to do business with Coggin Deland Ford. We definitely were not disappointed. In fact we made our final decision 1/2 hour before the dealership's closing time which kept Paul and the finance person late in going home on a Sunday. We had to return the next morning to tie up loose ends and the entire staff was very friendly. My husband and I are huge Pittsburgh Steelers fans and were told that the manager Larry Helsel was also a Steeler fan.....of course, another plus. Larry, took time to introduce himself and talk to us about the Steelers and the Penguins who is an avid fan of. I will recommend this dealership to my friends and clients.

I went to this dealer with an approved loan from roadloans, I was very vlear about the vehicle I wanted to look at within the price range as I knew I had a 20 thousand dollar loan. The salesmen were vwry nice Alan who is the person I was there to see wasn't available so he introduced me to Austin to help me. Austin was very nice and he was new at this particular dealer. The problem started when the vehicle they shwed me wasn't what I hadcome to see but I went along with it. At the moment for the numbers the price they wanted for their vehicle was almosy 27k I told him that was too heigh and when I looked at the trade in for my car It was 14k, I told him they were giving me nothing as I owed 12305.00 butthe fees they were charging me totaled up to more than the difference. Then we looked online and Austin and I saw the vehicle listed on Cogin's site for 22K and I told him why can't I get it for that price? He said he was sorry about the mishap, really? A little later I knew this was not going well he came back and told me we had to wait until morning, I knew then that the deal was off. This morning after I contacted him his reply was that they could not do the deal that the bank said 17-18 K and he included two pictures of vehicles I hadsaid I wawasn't interested in as the vehicle s height won't work as I use the car to move my mom around and dhe had double hip replacement surgery. I felt this dealer knew that after me having seen that the price was shady they were not going to deal with me. They couldn't come clean and I will also contact roadloans as one of the comment s I heard was "oh, let's try to fund the loan with another company as roadloans customer service is bad". Really im bringing you business and you put the company down? What's wrong with this picture?

I ordinarily dislike the process of purchasing a new car -- and I ALWAYS wait at least a day before making a selection. This time was different!The salesman, Chuck McDonald, approached me with courtesy and was not overbearing.He listened carefully to why I was considering a new car, and what I was looking for.He walked us through the lot and showed a variety of vehicles and described their features.He got the keys for one which caught my eye and we took a test drive. I was pleased with the suspension and driving ease.My wife liked the looks of the vehicle and she pointed out that her daughter had recently purchased one.We began negotiations. Chuck came up with a figure that was reasonable.I pointed out that I NEVER make a decision without looking at other dealerships and praying about the matter overnight.Without (much) pressure, he brought in a manager who was able to reduce the price (after considerable hesitation on my part).Chuck gave us time and space to consider the offer, pointing out features of the dealership and why he was happy to work there.His openness, sincerity, and reasonableness were effective.He reiterated the features on the car which we were particularly interested in. It fulfilled our needs and desire.We purchased a Ford Escort, trading in my 2007, 107K Toyota Highlander AND a 2001 Chrysler convertible.We put 1700 miles on the car in the first week. Multipoint Quick lube. Did not service the transmission fluid. Showed my brakes as needing service, but I was never told what was wrong with them. ( had new brakes installed by a Ford service center less than 5000 miles ago). The price for the oil change had gone up considerably and the reason I was given was that the price of oil had gone up.(oil has dropped more than $10 in the past 6 months)I felt like I received less than acceptable service for more than an acceptable cost and was given the standard blame the other guy reason.

About 2 weeks ago I visited this dealership to view and possibly purchase a $65,000 auto. The most expensive on the lot and currently sitting in the showroom. I was approached by a salesperson "Tony" who never smiled, seemed very friendly or interested in my visit. After looking at my potential trade the experience did not get any warmer. Heck, if your going to spend this kind of money you would expect some personality. After thinking about why he didn't seem to take me very seriously I determined that maybe because that day I was wearing a T-shirt and didn't appear to him like I had the funds to buy the car. I left this dealership traveled to another Ford dealership a short distance away and asked if they could acquire the car I was interested in at Coggin Ford Deland. The Management staff at Coggin refused to cooperate with that dealership for several days. They wouldn't even return calls to them. I had to have the other dealership trade out cars with a dealership in Tampa. Because of Coggin it took over a week to make this purchase. If your interested in buying a car at this dealership I would caution you to shop around. After all, we consumers are spending top dollar and should be treated with respect no matter what your attire the day you happen to stop in.

I knew that I wanted the Ford Fusion Hybrid, but hadn't settled on which trim level and options. Jeff Hall spent a lot of time with me, and never made me feel like I was being "sold to." He knew what I wanted, and encouraged me to test drive the Titanium version of the car that I wanted... had he not put me behind the wheel of that particular car, I would never have considered going up a trim level. Once we did the math, it was pretty obvious that I could move up a level without paying an arm and a leg! Though I didn't want a lot of the additional options on that Titanium model on the lot, Jeff was happy to order exactly the car I wanted. It arrived two days ago, and it's PERFECT! I've never had such a great experience at a dealership. I felt valued as a customer. I'll recommend Jeff Hall and Coggin Deland Ford to anyone who'll listen! Thanks Jeff!!!

He took me to the Focus Hatchbacks in stock and explained the vehicle to me. Mr. Messeguer and Mr. Wallace negotiated price. They were very open and informative. I had a great sales experience here but their service manager and service tech are the worst in any dealership that I have ever experienced. They could not fix the problem with my car that I bought from them but still insisted I pay the almost $1,000.00 work order. I had it back in there at least 4 times and they couldn't fix it. The car will not restart after driving it for a 30 minutes or more. The service writer, Dawn, was nice but the service manager was so rude and said he didn't know anything about Fords that he had been with Chevrolet for over 20 years. How is this guy still working there? I should have sued them but I am not into that. We own a business in Deland and I have told anyone that will listen to steer clear of Coggin Ford.

Mr.Larry Pearson was very helpful in the purchase on our new 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. We ordered the vehicle on December 26,2012 and finally took delivery on April 7,2013. During that time, Larry kept us up to date on where the vehicle was in the manufacturing process, etc.. When we finally took delivery, Larry took us through the paperwork process without a hitch and then sat with us in vehicle and explained all the various dashboard screen applications. He was very knowledgeable regarding every process, and insisted that anytime we had a question regarding the vehicle, we should call and come in and he would do whatever necessary to help us. This was the very best experience we ever had of any major purchase. In addition, everyone we had contact with during this period was very helpful and went out of their way to make us fell comfortable.

My husband was looking for a vehicle to replace his Jeep. I did research for several months and he decided on a Nissan Armada. When we arrived at the dealership, Robert came and introduced himself, offered to help and show us around. He was very pleasant, not pushy like some are. He showed us the Nissan Armada but there was a very strong smoke smell in the vehicle. He assured us it can be cleaned to take the smell away. We left and visited other dealers in the area, talking about the armada. We came back, took it for a test drive and was sold. Robert agreed to have a cleaing done on the vehicle to take the smell out, which is being done as I write this. We definately got a good deal with this one, no haggling for several hours like sometimes you have to. They knew what we wanted to spend and was on the mark. The financial guy was equally nice to deal with. I have already spoken about the dealership to friends of ours and how well we were treated. Thanks again for doing a bang up job.

Purchased Edge only had 500 miles on it and back into the shop 2x for Sync problems. New elect products I know there are bugs. Love the vehicle. Service is poor to badge else where. Had no follow up on progress of vehicle both times it was in the shop. When calling to check on vehicle was sent to voice mail. Know service department is busy but would expect a call or at least e-mail about progress aver 3 to 4hours. Both times had to call at 4:30 to see if vehicle was ready. Alway got same answer about how busy they are. Your in the service department I expect you to be busy. Do not really want to hear how busy your day is. Mine was busy also. Suggest a 10 step customer service class. Many available online for free. After reading reviews on google this is a continuing problem. Positive experice with the sales staff. My review reflects mainly the fact that I am an out-of-town customer that was lied to about the features on a 2013 Ford Taurus SHO. As it was used with 2880 miles and no sticker with options, I had no reason not to believe that it had what they were saying it had. To my dismay, later, after reading the manual inside the car it did not have Adaptive cruise control or the performance package like I was told. I guess whatever it takes to get the customer in the car, thanks!C.Parrish

bought a used 2009 mustang Gt with 19,000 miles on it.Salesman said they would remove superdark tint on windows(with rear that was so bubbled I could barely see out in the day and not at all in the night)and after sale he made like I never aske him about it(should hve gotten it in writing).A day after delivery I found seat lumbar support did not work and salesman said bring it in.I brought it in and they said they would not fix it and that it was not included in the extended warranty I bought(WTH).The bill to fix seat was $900 and after making many calls to the dealer the best they could do was $500.So I just bought a car with a broken part and I have to suck down the $500 after I paid for a extended warranty that suposedly covered everything!A day after all this the battery died and left me stranded.After calls to the genral manager I was able to get a promise for the battery price and $100 towards the tint removal.Im SOL with the seat though.I do not like how I was treated.

This was my third time stopping by the dealership to look at the same 2005 Ford F350 Super Duty. Each time, my saleman Mike Tucker was extremely patient and never made me feel pressured to make a decision. As with any car purchase there is a series of negotiations, offers and counter-offers. Although we couldn't come to an agreement during my first two visits, I felt comfortable enough in my dealings with Mike to return a third time and it was then that we were finally able to reach an agreement we were both satisfied with. Randy, the sales manager, was more than willing to work within my budget. It was one of the few times that I purchased a vehicle without some degree of "buyer's remorse" the next day.Financing went smoothly with Mark and I received what I considered a very competitive rate. The truck looks and runs like new, with no surprises. I recommend you consider Coggin Deland Ford the next time you're looking for a new or used vehicle.

We located the car through Auto Trader and emailed the dealer. Shane Church responded to our email fairly quickly. We did not have that experience with other dealers. We emailed Shane back to make sure the car was still on the lot. He went immediately to verify that the car was still there and got right back with us. Shane was very professional and friendly. He let the car sell itself and did not bombard us with alot of fast talking which we really appreciated. I had plans to look at another Edge at a different dealer that was not too far from him, but without high pressure, he let us know that he wanted our business and would do whatever he could. He made it clear that he wanted us to buy the car on HIS lot and not even have to go look at the other one and he made that happen.

Left articles in my trade in. When the shipped the items to me (a month after I bought the new car and called three times to remind them), the sent the box to the post office with a notification that I had to come pickit up and pay for the postage. Spend over 30,000 on a car and was surprised they couldnt spend the 1.47 to ship me the darn package. Disappointed.

Made a appointment to get two windows tinted at the dealership through a Vendor Ken Nestor with Deland Auto Cleaning. My appointment was made through a call to Ken himself and he said to come in at 10 am on Saturday. I show up 15 minutes early to check in with the service department a few minutes later i hear Ken screaming in the back about he had no appointments. He comes out claiming there was no appointment. He said he could squeeze me in but I would have to wait for 3 hours or make another appointment. I chose to go some place else and got tint on the two windows in 30 minutes from the time I walked in their door until I left. Since Ken and his window tint company works out of Coggin Deland Ford, he has caused Coggin Deland Ford to get a negative review. Ken Nestor and his terrible service he provides at Deland Auto Cleaning and window tint has lost a customer and stained Coggin Ford of Deland in my mind!

Our sales person, Tony, kept in touch by e mail and telephone in a friendly, but never pushy way before we saw the car we were interested in. Once we went to the dealership, the car was as advertised and a real beauty. Tony was helpful and very nicely mannered. Duane Lee was an excellent salesman. He was willing to listen to what vehicle and options that we wanted. He was able to find the vehicle and had it for us in less than a day. When he delivered the vehicle, he spent hours with us going over the vehicle and the My Touch system. He gave us his cell phone number to call him at any time if we had more questions. Mark Allen is the finance manager at the dealership and was able to secure an additional $1500 rebate from Ford/Lincoln for us, as well as a loan at a great rate. Larry, the manager, was available and part of the whole process from start to finish, answering any questions that we had. They made an appointment for our first servicing before we left. Over all, it was a great sales experience.

Went to dealership for service on my 2009 MKZ, Dawn was the service manager and was fantastic in taking care of me. I had a few minutes before my rental car was being delivered so I wanted to look at the new Lincoln SUV. Dawn set me up with Paul Cianciotto so I was able to test drive one. This is the second SUV we have purchased from Karl. We always feel that he is out to give us the best purchase price and accessories package for our money. We feel confident that Karl is dedicated to finding the perfect vehicle because we have special needs in a vehicle. My husband is disabled and needed a hand hold on the drivers side. Ford is not offering them on this years(2012) model He went out of his way to see if one could be installed. We were lucky that the service department was able to install one for us. We also needed our hitch moved to our new vehicle to carry his electric wheel chair. Karl coordinated with a company that installs hitches so we just have to bring our current SUV down and they will attach it to the new car. Great customer service!

Very unusual.......We bought the MKS had a good price great service and drove off into.......on our trip we were traveling eastat70mph and had a head on collision with a west bound who jumped the median (I-10).... the car (MKS) safety and construction saved our lives! it was totaled the front end disappeared....Long story short We recontacted Jason to find us the same car...it looks like he has and we're working on MKS "2" GREAT SERVICE!

Overall our experience was very good. I definitely would recommend Coggin Ford again. The only thing I would say was not very professional is the way Pete was dressed. When he came out to meet us he looked like a mechanic, and he even had a ball cap on, and we questioned if he was a salesman or not. The next time we came in to have the vehicle detailed he was dressed the same way. The other salesmen were dressed as you would expect a salesman to be dressed with nice slacks and polo shirts....and no hat! Thank you,Charles Lockwood

Paul listned to our needs and showed a genuine interest in helping us find the truck we wanted. There was no pressure and he was the only dealer out of 3 that was willing to either meet or beat the other dealers final price. The finance manager was extremely professional and again, there was no pressure to get anything we didn't need or want. As we tend to keep our vehicles for a long time we don't have alot of experience with dealers but this was definitely the best experience we have had.

I have been dealing with Jeff in Service for years and the guy is truely outstanding. He is the main reason I went back to this dealership when shopping for a new truck.I hope the owners of this dealership know what a great employee they have there..Just purchased a new 2011 F150 Lariat from Duane in sales, and he is very low key and never pressures you with the typical care salesman lines..Will probably get my wife a new care there in the next few months..

my truck was recently towed into deland ford and they had the truck for over a week and they still did not know what was wrong with the truck, they assumed that the truck needed cylinder heads and gaskets but i never lost any coolant at all and the truck never overheated!!! the engine was hydralocked and they said they were 100% sure it was coolant in the cylinders********* WRONG********** the #2 fuel injector was stuck opened and it was filling the cylinders with DIESEL FUEL, i was confident that they were wrong so i immediatly took the truck to another dealer and the truck was back on the road in lees than 24 hour after replacing the injector!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO DELAND FORD FOR ANYTHING AND I DEFINATELY WILL NOT REFER ANYONE TO THEM, THAT IS NOT HONEST BUSINESS AT ALL!!!!!

We bought a 97 Explorer in March 24 2004, (as is) and thinking we were getting a great deal and that a dealership like Deland Ford wouldn't sell lemon cars. They lowered they cost for us and did everything they could to get us into a truck. 2 weeks later we noticed the SUV had shimmy to it when going over 40 miles per hour. Took it in and had that fixed. It is now May 21 2004 less then 2 months later and we have just made our 1st payment. This weekend we took it in because it kept overheating still had the shimmy to it, the transmission is slipping and the check engine light was still on almost since we bought it. We were told by the service dept that we would have to pay over 1000.00 to fix these problems. I went over to the used car dept. asking them why would they sell a car that really shouldn't have been sold. Kevin the used car Manager told me that I should take it to some one else and get a second opinion. I stated to him that he sold me a lemon and I would never come back here again. Kevin told me that that was my prerogative. We did take it to someone else and found out that these problems had been there way before we bought the SUV and even to the point of the spark plugs are rusted. <br><br> I would never recommend someone going to Deland Ford Used Cars and Trucks; they sell lemons and dont stand behind the cars once they are sold. They wash their hands of you and the Cars and Trucks once you drive off their lot. We were taught a 10.000 lesson, one which I can only try to write this hoping I can save someone else the headaches we are now going through.<br><br>From an Orange City resident who use to buy SUV like Expeditions and Explorers from Deland Ford who will now drive to Daytona to Purchase our vehicles.<br><br>______________________________________________<br><br>CHANGE OF MIND.... We did talk to someone higher up today. He understood what we were talking about and made it right. We believe in spending our money in our home town.
