Steven Salgado was an excellent salesman. He helped me get the car I wanted for the price I wanted. He gave me more for my trade in and brought the price of the car down in order to give me the deal I wanted. He is not a pushy salesman. Recently purchased a new Honda Odyssey from Coggin. I was reluctant to purchase from here due to having a pretty poor experience with a salesman about a year ago. I'm a tech guy and was well educated about the pricing and value of my trade and was previously only offered me 1/2 of KBB trade in value. We walked away shaking our heads. We decided to look at vans again a year later and had a great experience with Coggin. Vlad, John, Woody and all the management worked together to help us out. The had to get the car from St. Augustine to make the deal work and went above and beyond on everything. We feel we paid a fair price and received a fair price on our trade. Vehicle was delivered in perfect condition. Very positive experience and I'm glad that we gave them another shot.

I just took my Honda Fit in for a service on the tires with Lee Chrestman and I was greeted quickly with a smile and asked what they could do for me, I explained that the tire pressure indicator had come on for the second time in a matter of months and Lee went the extra mile for me and had them check the balancing system to make sure everything was running smoothly while I waited. He told me to give them about a hour to a hour and a half and they should have everything checked out for me. He was right! They were done within that time frame and they even washed my car. My entire experience was pleasant, as they have coffee, water, and doughnuts available for free, as well as a snack and soda machine if you so choose and they have a big screen T.V. that plays movies with the most comfortable big chairs to sit back and relax in. Coggin Deland Honda is a terrific dealership and there service department is spot on! I have been a very satisfied customer for over 10 years now and I will continue to be a loyal customer. They are fast, friendly and professional. Honda is the best, you can't beat the value! Thank you Honda for everything!

My 2015 Honda Civic is the 2nd Honda that I have been bringing in for Service at Coggin Deland Honda. For probably the last 10 years I have made it a point to set my service set up with Lee. He is friendly, courteous, efficient and takes the time to explain what is being done to my car. He will also suggest upcoming maintenance that will be due in the coming months. Although I leave in Winter Park, Florida, I make the short trip to Deland because of the service I recieve from not only Lee, but the entire staff at Deland Honda.

We bought a used 2005 CR-V quite a few years ago, after looking for a newer car for about 7 months. I am short, yet the car fits me. I have back issues, yet the CR-V is comfortable. We have kept it serviced. Lee Chrestman has made sure that each system gets checked. The sales staff at Coggin Deland Honda are polite, friendly and professional. They go out of there way to make sure you are taken care of. No high pressure sales tactics at this dealership. I was actually in the parking lot of another Honda dealer getting ready to negotiate my deal and I received a call from Gwyn Nieves. After several minutes on the phone he convinced me to drive to Coggin Deland and give them a chance to beat the deal of two other dealers that I was working with and sure enough they beat the deals respectively and not by just a couple hundred dollars but several hundred. When we arrived we were met by Ricky Forero and what a very nice and professionally looking sales specialist. Within 20-30 minutes the negotiation of the deal was completed. During the negotiation Kevin St Louis ,New Car Sales Manager" stopped by and stated that he was so confident in "the deal" that he was sending a driver to go pick up the vehicle from another dealer that we wanted. After the deal was completed Doug the General Manager came over and introduced himself and wanted to thank us for dealing with Coggin Deland Honda. We then met with the Finance Manager, Tunde Aluko , and he explained all of our finance options and completed our deal. Every employee from the Receptionist to the General Manager and all the sales staff were just awesome to deal with. Very disappointed. After they gave me an estimate, I dropped my Accord off for body workthat was a Monday. That day they told me it would take three days to do the work; no body parts had to be ordered. I called on Thursday, four days after dropping it off, and was told it would be ready in the next day or two. The next Monday, eight days after I dropped it off, I called again and was told it would be ready at 5 p.m. I arrived at 4:55, then waited an additional 45 minutes for the repairs to be completed. A three-day job took eight days. I originally rented a car for four days (remember, Honda said my car would be ready in three days). I then had to extend the rental----and pay for---an additional four days.

We have also travelled that distance for these six years for our Service so it was a natural to return last week as we decided to purchase or lease a 2016 CRV. I've been a very satisfied Coggin Deland Honda customer for 20 years and once again they did not disappoint! Was planning on getting a new Honda and with the help of Barry Stadtler, there is a new 2015 CR-V in the garage. I spoke with Barry for awhile of my requirements and he described in detail the features of the vehicle. Went for the test drive of my choosing and satisfied that this was the car that I wanted, we got to work on pricing. Talked to Doug Maloney and Sanjay Hirani. They were like cheaters that would say anything to bring you over there on phone and email. Once you got there, they'd say they cannot sell the car b/c some accessories and try to sell another new car with ripoff price. Drove 4 hours to and fro, but they refused to compensate for the gas. Unbelievable!

This is my second car purchase from Coggin DeLand Honda. I spent many months looking for a first car for my teens first car. I went back to Barry on multiple occasions. He is so easy going and caring. I never felt pushed around. He took the time to call me ever so often to see if I was still looking, again, without being pushy. Ian Riding was also easy to work with. We purchased the car on Black Friday and kept it hidden until Christmas! Our daughter was completely shocked and very happy with her surprise! I went on the internet and looked at the inventory that Coggin Deland Honda had available for sale. I received a phone call from Howard asking me if I wanted to come in and see if he could help me find a newer vehicle. Arriving at the dealership, my husband and I saw a manager's special deal that we were interested in. Howard talked to his boss and the next thing I new we were taking a test drive. We decided that we wanted to buy the car and Howard worked with us to do so. Howard had a great personality and very easy to work with. He explained to us the process and answered all of our questions. He made this experience very easy and uncomplicated. We will definitely go back to him and buy another vehicle when it is needed.

We had a great experience buying our Odyssey--we needed a van in order to carry my husbands mobility scooter wherever we go--the Odessey was a perfect choice for us. We couldn't afford a brand new van, but the dealer had an awesome used one with only 18,000 miles in like-new condition. We've had only Honda vehicles for over 25 years and our newest addition is just as great as the ones we had in the past.Our overall experience with the dealer was great! Our only disappointment was finding out in the end that the Odyssey had only one ignition key and we have to buy a second one.

Took in for oil change, and they did not replace oil drain plug properly. Plug fell out a couple days later and I barely made it home. I called and the service department responded great. They brought a tech out to my house and fixed the car in my driveway at night. I was able to bring it in the next morning for a complete inspection and no damage was done. They turned a customer catastrophe into a pleasant experience. Kudos to their team!

Set appointment by email. Asked for feedback on valve job pricing, and never heard back from them. Was called by service advisor during service that my rear back pads needed replacing. She said they were disk brakes. They actually are drums. She gave me an estimate that the total for my service would be around $400. Imagine the surprise when the bill was over $600 when I went to pick up my car. When challenged she said the $400 did not include the brake job. Wrong. Just awful. When seeing my disgust, she then said "I can knock off some if you want". I was in the car business for 7 years and never witnessed something like this.

I think in future you should not name something life time if you are gong to cancel the service. it is very miss leading. that is why I only gave the buying process a 3. I went in for an oil change and came out with a brand new 2016 Honda Civic. Howard Jones, sales rep., Tony the new cars sales manager and Mark in financing were outstanding, very knowledgeable, owned their smile, and aimed to please my every need. This team made me feel not just like a customer but a PERSON. Talk about having patience, well I was torn between the HRV and the Civic. This team did not pressure me at all and definitely made me feel comfortable with my 4 hour decision making process. Their goal was to have a satisfied customer and they surely accomplished that. Not only did I find and test drove the ideal car for me, but my added bonus was that they found a car that was just off loaded that complimented my style and look. It was a dark burgundy car with orange specks in it. The car appeared black but when the sunlight hits it.......WOW now that's a car! This was the 5th vehicle we have bought from Deland Honda. As they say, some things just get better with age. This time was without a doubt in my mind the most stress free, no pressure buying experience we have EVER had at ANY car dealer. Alberto (Tito), was very professional and never once tried to pressure us into a sale. We took approx. 3 to 4 weeks before we decided on the 2016 Pilot EX-L. Everyone involved were extremely honest and professional. Although we plan on keeping this one for several years, we will be back the next time we are in the market for a new car.

I am an old lady....Joe is a young man.........I thought ut...oh! I did not want to be buying a car but I totaled mine. Joe not only made me feel like I was talking to a friend, but when I said I wanted the same as the car I just wrecked,, At a price I could afford. His compassion and patience was something I am not used to. I'm a retired Female LEO .....that at 69 can barely walk. He even taught be a better way to put the walker in the car.. Talking to Joe made me so comfortable ....I almost hated to leave. Usually around young folks ....I feel invisible. I had just been to another dealership.....two young girls came in and the dealer and another , left me and went to the girls.......Joe was great! He got me coffee and water. And The perfect car! What was a nightmare at other shops for me , was an absolute pleasure ....thanks to Joe DeMayo!

I was told by Joe Alvarado to come in. I told him I had a check for $21000.00 to buy a 2015 civic si. We had a deal after driving from Jacksonville he did not honor the sales price we agreed on. I ended up paying $500.00 more. I complained to the general manager he more so said he would have rather not sold the car for price I paid. The dealership can't make money off me because of where I stay. I would not recommend Coggin Honda Deland to my worst enemy. Vladimir was great though he was the one that got deal done. I had to get in my car to head back to Jacksonville. Vladimir saw I was serious about not buying and pushed for the deal to get done.

Went into dealership in May 2015 looking for a used car, any kind. We saw a Cadillac and inquired about price. We were presently driving a 2013 KIA that was leased and due to be over the following year. Salesman Steven Salgado was very helpful and showed us the car and explained about it and pricing. We wound up taking a test drive and found it drove pretty good but had a hesitation to it. Steven told us that could be fixed. We purchased the 2005 Cadillac SRX under the condition that the car would be fixed to our satisfaction, and it was thanks to the service department manager Jay Golston and service advisor Kelly Stover. Tim England was very helpful in seeing that everything went smoothly. The sales manager Ian Riding made sure the car was in great shape when we picked it up.All in all, we are very happy with the automobile and the service provided.

I looked for quite a while for the right car. When looking at other dealerships, there seemed to always be some sort of catch, hidden fee, or the car wasn't exactly what they claimed it to be. The guys here were straight forward from the get go. I bought a used 2013 Honda Civic from Barry Stadtler. I was on a very tight budget, but that was no problem. The guys truly went above and beyond and helped me get into the car that I wanted. On top if that, the dealership was amazing. Very clean and lots to do. Even if you are not looking for a car right now. It's definitely worth seeing. Needless to say, it was a GREAT experience.I'd also like to take a second to brag on the staff. During my initial inquiry of the car, I talked to two gentlemen. One was Barry Stadtler (the sales specialist) and the other was Ian Riding (Sales Manager). Both are genuinely great guys, and only want what's best for you. They really made you feel as if you were a VIP, despite the dealership being very busy that day (These guys are not your typical car salesmen). Thanks very much to both of you guys!

This is the third car I have bought in a short period of time. Alberto is positively the best salesperson to deal with. Just the way he made me feel comfortable and informed about my purchase made this a fun buying experience. He has integrity, too. No stone went unturned--he explained every move he made and all about the vehicle before I made a decision. The finance department and manager bent over backwards to give me the best possible deal and I walked away with a hum-dinger of a beautiful vehicle. Everything at Coggin Honda Orange City was orderly, clean, fair, and honest. You don't find many car dealers who show such caring and interest in their buyers. Roberto "Tito" is a fine young man--don't hesitate to put yourself or your loved one in his hands. It was also fun to see the 1976 "Hondamatic." A beautifully restored car. I bought my first Honda Odyssey (one of three) in 2000 from Coggin DeLand. I have taken my vans to this dealership since that time. I have always been very satisfied with the work being done, and the positive atmosphere there. Everyone is courteous and while waiting for the work to be done, it is like being in my own living room i.e. coffee, donuts, NETFLIX, etc. I must commend Pat D'Agostino who always goes above and beyond what one would expect from a service advisorr! On all my recent visits, she kept me updated as to what work had to be done, while it was being done and the cost involved. I would not deal with anyone else there. After all, when one goes "first class," why settle for less. Thank you, Pat!

I have been buying cars since the 70's and this was the best experience of all. Bought a CRV and did research from all local dealers. Coggin had no problem beating other dealers price. Alberto is the best salesman I ever dealt with! No high pressure. Before test drive walked through all features on the vehicle before my wife test drove. Explained every button on the dash ! He even set up the blue tooth from our smart phone and showed my wife how to dial and answer hands free. Anybody in Central Florida in the Market for a new Honda needs to see Alberto at Coggin before buying anywhere else. If you buy somewhere else you will spend more and will not have complete knowledge of the vehicle you purchased. I am positive of that.

Alberto "Tito" was very cordial, informative and professional. He went beyond the sale of a car to make sure understood all procedures and laws as we bought the car just arriving to the US. It was a very smooth transaction indeed. We had done the homework of getting the carfax info in the used car and we wanted to "verify" all the good things that made it a good buy. He made sure that I found the exact CRV that I wanted and took the time to explain every inch of the CRV and when the paperwork was all done, he made certain that I knew everything about the CRV that I needed to know and made sure that the vehicle was clean. I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. Doug Sisler, the manager, was so nice and took great care of us. He ensured that we received great service and an excellent deal on our car. I like my 2012 Honda CRV that I purchased. But, the salesman promised items that I did not receive. .Even after addressing simple item with manager was not accomplished. I had two other people with me that heard the same promises. I had to contact dealer three times to get information for my insurance company. They never responded to my messages needing lien holder name. This is my first Honda and experience with a Honda dealership next time will get all in writing and a signature. I did have excellent experience with Kelly in service department getting a part put on car. She was very professional and nice.

Came in to get my CRZ serviced and while waiting looked at new cars. Saw the FIT on the floor and really liked it. Talked with Alberto Maymo who seemed more interested in answering questions and addressing my vehicle concerns than trying to sell me a vehicle. I appreciated that. Once we made an equitable purchase arrangement, he spent lots of time making sure I understood how everything worked and all the features operated. This is the 5th vehicle from Coggins I have been involved in purchasing and this is the first time a sales professional has done more than just ask if I had any questions! He made sure I understood all the idiosyncrasies of the sound/phone system and even helped bond my phones with the system. Alberto took the time to explain in detail what the vehicle features are and how each operated so that when I left the following day on an extended business trip I did not ever need to refer to the owner's manual. Today, five weeks later, he made a follow up call after I returned to ensure I was happy with my purchase and had no concerns or questions. I expressed how very pleased I am with my new FIT, its operation and comfort, and the fact I am getting the same gas mileage that I got from my CRZ Hybrid. I would definitely recommend Coggins, and especially Alberto Maymo, to anyone in the area needing a new vehicle. They treat me well and make sure my needs are met with a high level of satisfaction.

I came to Coggin Deland Honda on a whim, looking to trade in my dying car for something that would last a lot more. I bought a preowned 2008 Toyota Prius from this dealer, and spoke to Ricardo from the moment we got there and left, and every other time I came in again.The place is top-notch and well-kept, someone is waiting for you at the door all the time to help you out. We told him what we saw, what we were looking for, let me drive the car around and see how it drives, and worked super hard to get me a good deal. He helped get the car set up to take, made sure the tank was full, and every time after, we went straight to him for questions or other matters to deal with. He's extremely friendly and willing to work with you. A fantastic salesperson that deserves more.While I have a vehicle that was not manufactured by Honda, I can easily recommend this dealership on its workers alone. I bought a 2015 Honda Accord from this Dealership. This is my 5th Honda from Coggin Deland Honda. I drive about 40 minutes to buy my car, even though I have 3 dealerships that are much closer. I love the atmosphere. Barry, my Salesman, is the best. He knows exactly what I want and I just call him and tell him Im ready for a new car. I have bought all my cars from him. I have sent him several customers also. They, too, bought a car. Customer Service is a priority at Coggin. I like that. The service department is great also. The people treat you like you are family.

We need something faxed to an insurance company saying we never took possession of the car, that we DID not buy, and now NOBODY that we met is listed on this website and NOBODY WILL TAKE OR RETURN OUR PHONE CALLS. I will review again when someone proves to me they are not crooks, and vindictive when sales fall through. update. I have had a response from the General Manage after repeated phone calls but Joe Alvarado responded first by phone and is dealing with faxing paperwork to the insurance company.

Some of you might think that my review is a scam but I am certifying that everything included in this passage is 100% true. So my story started 7 months ago, yes I am no kidding 7 months of struggle without getting my money back. I have bought a car with this dealership and I purchased an extended warranty with it which has 30 days cancellation without any fees. 3 weeks after, I went to this dealership to cancel my warranty, and the person i dealt with confirmed to me that I am all set, and the money will go back to my bank. It turn out after 2 months that he did not even bother to cancel this warranty. After unsuccessful attempts to reach this person which is by the way, finance manager, I have decided to speak with his manager named "Sanjay" who confirmed me that he will take care of the issue. Guess what, he actually cancelled the warranty but with the fees, and I was charged 150 Dollars fees. Again, i contacted Mr Sanjay who told me 2 months ago that he will personally process the refund of the penalty, and without any surprise, he did not do anything. I am not here to judge people, and I never intended to do so but the way my case was handled even after it was escalated to Mr Sanjay, general sales manager is unfortunately unacceptable. I never see a company ignoring a guest complaint especially when it is caused by an employee's mistake. I have sent several emails to Mr Sanjay, and I still have copy of those emails, and I also called him and left several voice mails, and he did not even bother to reply to me. I just don't understand how such things could happen with the consent of the highest management. I am deeply irritated and disappointed, and I lost trust in this dealership. They held their customer responsible for their mistakes and they make you waiting and waiting to get nothing at the end. From my understanding, one of the manager duties is to ensure that the employees are following the rules, and to correct any mistakes by taking the required actions toward the customer first. My request is to be refunded, and I am not concerned about something else. I urge everyone to think twice before putting your foot in this place. Be careful as the only thing they are interested is to sell you a vehicle. After that, you will struggle with them as unfortunately for them they do not have any culture of customer service satisfaction. As today, I did not receive my money back and as today, I am still waiting for an answer.

Both Taylor Martin and Ian were fantastic to work with! They were very helpful, courteous, down to earth and generous with their time! Philip was excellent from the moment I spoke with him over the phone. I told him what I was looking for and he helped me get exactly what I wanted, not what they needed to sell. There was no B.S. to deal with here. Everyone there was very accommodating. I had my 18 month baby with me at the time and everyone was willing to wait while I tended to her or even help. They worked with me on my trade in and made me feel quite comfortable. Overall a great sales experience. I would gladly do more business with them as well as refer them.

Bought my used Honda in February, 2014. Salesman was open and honest about pricing, Needed service since has been rare, but fixed the first time. Costs for labor and items has been higher than 3rd party providers, but still competitive. Time to complete work has sometimes taken longer than initially estimated by the service representatives. The disconnect of some of the representatives maybe that they have little actual technical repair experience, but have experience as only service representatives. Overall, I would recommend buying a car from this dealership, and returning for occasional service issues.

I have purchased my last few Hondas from this dealership. All my experiences were positive but this one was the best so far. The new showroom and service department look great. We were greeted in the lot by Philip. I already knew which car I wanted but didn't see it. We went inside and he was able to locate the exact color and model that we were looking for. There was only one available in the entire state. (It's an unusual color) He had it there for us the next day. He gave me all the purchase and lease options and then I told him what I thought was fair to pay. I don't like the back and forth you usually get at a dealership and appreciated not getting the run around. We came to a price and I signed the paperwork. The next day my car was ready for me to pick it up. Philip sent me pictures of the car as soon as it arrived. I appreciated that. I came in the next day in a hurry to pick it up and it was ready and waiting for us. He called the next day to see if I had any questions. I will be purchasing a car for my girlfriend soon and will definitely be returning to DeLand Honda and Philip Gadhia.

I was insulted by the high pressure atmosphere at Coggin Honda. In 2012 I leased a new car and things went well. However when I returned in February to discuss with Don Liska what my options would be after my lease matures he didn't give up until I signed my life away on a ridiculous contract on another used 2012 car. We were not intending to buy a car that day. We only wanted options. All of a sudden I "got it" that he wasn't interested in helping me out with a list of options. He and his cohorts made me and my wife feel ganged up on using all the sales gimmicks they had. Even though I knew what the were doing, they wore us down quite literally and at the time my wife and I couldn't take anymore they gave us the impression that finally we were gonna get a good price on a 2012 car. We signed, we processed out, got the keys with paperwork in hand. 12 hours later I reviewed the sales contract and then felt very angry. We had dealt with Don Liska before and thought he was a straight up guy, but this experience made us see what he is really made of. Was it really necessary to get three guys besides himself to join us at his desk? I threatened to walk out until I got the payment I wanted. I discovered later that the contract was for a 84 month payment schedule at $274 a month. I recalled every minute of our conversation at the store and I remembered, and kicked myself for not asking them to FIRST, DISCOUNT THE PRICE OF THEIR CAR and then we would haggle. Big costly mistake on my part but the design was to tire my mind so bad that the emotion would make me sign, not my neocortex. BEWARE of Coggin Honda. Nobody there cares about your best interests. It was only the sale, and they don't care about our spending ethics and our good judgment, our budget. I will never return there. By the way. One of the reviews I read was written by the wife of an employee there. Don't ask how I know. AND, I inadvertently left some money in the lease car. Did they tell me they found it? No.

Ian in management was a straight shooter, Barry was the best salesman I have ever come across, and Sal in finance was great. I have to start by stating we were not the easiest customers to deal with. We knew going in our credit and financial situation were not in the best standings (horrible), but we also knew what we wanted & needed. All of which caused us to take about 8 hours total, within 2 separate days.However, that did not deter Vincent Reed, and his support team, from being "Extremely" patient, diligent, and thorough. All while we were also trying to deal with a young toddler.He took his time explaining our options; went through each car we qualified for; how it would all work out; and how we could benefit in the long run on certain makes/models. He was very knowledgeable, sincere, and pleasant. I can not say enough about his work ethic and upbeat demeanor. In the end, we actually drove off with a vehicle we never even considered, and it was much more than we hoped for. It's perfect for our family, and for our needs. Thank you again to Vincent and the "Coggin Deland Honda" family for what turned out to be a great experience, and an awesome car.(next time we promise to try and keep it down to no more than 4hrs ;) )

I bought my last Honda in 2003 from DeLand Honda and have brought it back to be serviced for the past 12 years. Eventhough I live in Winter Park, it is no effort to make the drive as I am always greeted like a long lost friend. Everyone at the dealer ship is professional, courteous, and friendly, no pressure at all. Lee Crestman is a great service manager and I have been dealing with him for years. Don Ramme has been especially helpful. Once I bought my new 2015 Honda, Alberto (Tito) Maymo was especially diligent in showing me all the fun extras in the car. This was no walk in the park, as I am Technologically inept! The whole buying process was seemless start to finish.

My car felt like it was idling to high, so I took it in to the dealership and was greeted by a wonderful lady, sorry bout good with names. My visit was on Sat 2/28/15 at 2pm. She took my car for a ride a told me it sounds great but that it needed oil change and tire rotation. She explained to me how often I should get one and all the maintenance that my car needs throughout the year. She put things nice and simple and made it easier for me to understand. She was GREAT. They serviced my car quickly and even washed my car for me. My sales guy even say me and came up to say hello and see how everything was going. I really do like this Honda dealership in Deland. I decided to only communicate with dealerships via e-mail when looking for a 2015 Honda Odyssey Touring for my wife. I wanted the best OTD price. The time finally came to visit the dealerships in-person. After a very disappointing and dishonest experience at the first dealership we visited, we called Douglas Maloney at Coggin Deland Honda and told him we were on our way.Greeted at the door by the nicest "greeter" in the world named Philip, I was impressed by the cleanliness and calm atmosphere inside. Meeting Douglas for the first time face-to-face, he made us feel very comfortable with his courteous and non-pressured "got-to-have-a-sale" approach.After negotiating awhile he was extremely patient and helpful in getting us the vehicle we wanted with the best OTD price. I had been on the search for a new Vehicle for a while due to I have a toddler and the two door car I had just did not have the space or comfortability I needed. After submitting a vehicle inquiry online Andrew Russo contacted me via email. I explained to him how undecided I was as to which vehicle would be best for me and my daughter. He was quick to offer his help without making me feel obligated to anything so I agreed to go into the dealership and meet with him. Upon arriving Andrew met me with a very reassuring smile, immediately I felt he genuinely wanted to help me find a car that would perfectly suit me. Little did he know just how picky I was going to be and every car he showed me I quickly turned down. However, Andrew was able to keep my optimism high and patiently continued to search for a car that id be happy with. His efforts and patience paid off and he was able to find me a car that met my needs, had the space I needed for my toddler and was the color I wanted. He then went above and beyond spoke with the persons needed to get me into the car payments that were also comfortable for me for the car I wanted. Andrew Russo was an excellent salesman. What I was most impressed with was that although I purchased a car that day, Andrew just didn't stop there. He later contacted me a couple days later to confirm that I was still happy with my purchase and to offer any further assistance present or future. Andrew was an excellent salesman and had exceptional customer service and people skills. I will most definitely contact Andrew again for any future purchases and I would highly recommend him to friends, family or anyone looking to purchase a car.

I went to Coggin Deland Honda to look for a vehicle. I hadn't been there more than three minutes until a salesman came out and then he waited a couple minutes ; then approached me to ask if he could help me ....I told him what I was looking for, how much I could afford etc ... and he spent quite awhile trying to find what I needed ....Finally; as a last resort his boss suggest a Lincoln that they had .... I checked it out , took it for a test drive and really fell in love with it ... I was looking for specific car for boyfriends daughter and Coggin Honda in Deland had exact used car they were looking for. I found the car on Cars.com and called the dealership and reached Steven Salgado. I told Steve that car I was interested in, and the budget. Steve went to work and managed to get the numbers where they needed. I looked within 50 miles of Orlando and this dealership worked the hardest had the cleanest cars and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I had also contacted Hollar Honda and Collin Honda and after repeated calls could not get answers and the people answering the phone seemed untrained and took forever to get back to me. If you are looking for a Honda, contact Steven Salgado at Collin, it will be worth a drive to get the car as represented and to deal with someone like Steven who really wants your business. Very pleasant experience. Yes the kids bought the car and love the car.

My first time in. Purchased my CRV in Hutchinson, KS. It's been serviced there, Wichita, KS, and in Sanford, FL. Since we now live in DeLand, FL thought I'd give Coggin a try. Wonderful friendly service, which is what I expect from any Honda dealership. Patricia even helped me out with a wiper situation where I had gone to an auto parts store and purchased "replacement" wiper blades. Boy, did I make a mistake! And Trent, in parts, answered questions about a sun shield for my car and possibly updating my navigation. I recommend Coggin DeLand to any one needing friendly helpful service for their Honda.

Andrew made car buying experience a great one. He was VERY knowledgeable when showing me the vehicle I was inquiring about. I did have to wait a bit on the finance department (which was not their fault) and Andrew waited with us the whole time. He never left us just to sit and wait around. The experience at this store was amazing beginning with the sale all the way through the finance experience. The sales guy Steven was professional and explained all the features of the car I was buying. I was considering financing through my own bank, but after working with the fiance guy Ozzie, I was able to get an even better rate than expected and it better fit what I needed financially. Before describing the horrible experience I had with Mr Jason after sale. I would like to express my gratitude toward the amazing staff who assisted me during all the process of the purchase. Starting by Chris Perez, Ricardo Forero, and by Mr Ozzie Torres who were very patient with me until the deal is settled. 3 weeks after I bought a car, I have decided to cancel the extended warranty. So I went the dealership which is located by the way around 50 miles from home. After waiting for an hour, this gentleman, named Jason came to me with a strange attitude treating me like one of his employees. He was so rude, arrogant, and asked me to follow him to his office. I felt that I have done something illegal, and i will be arrested. Upon seating on the desk, he just handed me a paper and asked me to sign it, and informed me that I am all set. He did not even look to me, and when I asked him if there anything that i need to do, he replied with his arrogant style, "No". Guess what, 8 weeks after that, and because i did not notice any change on the amount loan, I contacted the Warranty Company, and suddenly i have been told that the warranty was never canceled. I tried to call this Jason every day, and I have left many messages and he never contacted me and moreover, I had to speak with his manager " Mr Sanjay" who resolved the problem. I am not quite sure how and why this person is still working in this place, but he is so incompetent and irresponsible. I would recommend this dealership to everyone who is looking to buy good quality car but I am warning you in advance regarding this gentleman. Be aware and double check everything done by him.

Jason (in Finance) also worked tirelessly to get us approved for a loan that we could afford where others may have stopped trying. I Was Fortune off to purchase a vehicle from C oggin Honda last Wednesday. Barry and Ian hooked me up with a great vehicle at a great price. The service couldn't have been faster. The paperwork was fully explain to me process quickly and I was on my way much quicker than I ever thought it would be possible to dealership.The vehicle and the financing was far better than I could imagine. I was introduced to Spiros will be my service technician and it may be confident that my car will be in good hands when I bring it to him. I recently purchased 2015 Honda Accord from this dealer and I could not be happier with the process and outcome. I had researched several different makes of cars and numerous dealers when I first spoke with Travis Albarran over the phone. We discussed what car I was looking for what car I had to trade along with a price I could live with. When I eventually went to the dealership salesperson Steven Salgado assisted me in taking a test drive and explaining all the features of the car. Later on both he and floor manager Joe Alvarado sat down and basically laid out all the pricing. Even though there was bargaining involved I never felt pressured to purchase. While I did not buy that day, two weeks later I called Steven set up an appointment to see him. I was able secure the price I was willing to pay, get what I wanted for my trade-in, and even though I had a draft from my Credit Union, I wound up financing the car there after meeting with finance employee Ozzie Torres. Even though I went looking for a new 2014 Honda Accord, with the help of Joe Alvarado I purchased a 2105 model and I couldn't be happier with the car and the experience. Lots of dealers will tell you they'll get you the lowest price but mostly it's just a bunch of empty promises. Coggin Deland Honda, with the help of their friendly and engaging staff made this one of my best car buying experiences ever. Thanks again

Spiros who is a senior service consultant and has been with the company as long as I can remember. I find him along with the rest of the dealership very easy to deal with and very honest. I would recommend this dealership if you go there with your own financing and do not sign any of yhe paperwork there. Andrew was great in sales and there was very minimal pressure. I had financing through my credit union at a better interest rate preapproved, and Jason was to contact them on Monday but he pushed my finance through Capital One, whom I told him out right i did mit want. I call both Jason and the finance manager on Monday and only managed to get their voice mails. No call back from either with even an I'm sorry. If this dealership wants a higher rating it looks like they need to replace their finance dept with honest people that do what they say they are going to, not just whatever they want to make you sign. A real shame as I have 3 friends planning to buy cars after the first of the year and I had recommended this dealership until this. I have also read reviews for thid dealership where people have had the same problem with Jason.

I 'bought' a 2014 Civic on October 26th. Awesome car, and Steve Salgado was actually an excellent sales guy, knew the car well and was great to work with. Unfortunately that's where the good news ends.I had previously (in August) been pre-approved with a 2.9% APR on a 60-month loan on my own, but while at the dealer I found out something changed on my credit report, my rates went up, and I needed to sort that out before making a purchase. This is when Steve brought in Jason, a guy in the 'Business Manager' office who we were told was in Finance - I still have no clue what he really is, he's not even listed with the staff on their website.Jason assured me that he had the ability to get me a loan at 2.9%, so we signed paperwork reflecting this, put down a significant down payment, and traded in our '98 Civic. All was well.Today - the 29th - rolls around, and Jason calls me up. Suddenly the dealership is unable to get me any better rate than 6.28%. I immediately drove the new car back to the dealer and told Jason that I wanted the 2.9% he offered right then and there or a full refund of my down payment and my old car back.I asked what happened, when I signed the paperwork he assured me that he could push the rate through and get me the loan I wanted no matter what pushback he got from the banks, but today he was at the mercy of the banks and couldn't do anything else for me. Instantly he was curt, refused to make eye contact, said he would get started on un-selling the car, then disappeared.I was met by a barrage of other sales guys and managers all trying to "make it right" asking all kinds of questions about whether I liked the car or not and trying to explain it wasn't them, it was the banks - I told them this was irrelevant, I signed paperwork reflecting a loan at 2.9% and was not willing to pay another 2k for the loan with them just because their finance guy felt like blowing smoke on the 26th. I would not have signed anything with any higher rate, the only thing that sealed this deal that day was Jason's supposed ability to get me this rate.After getting the run-around and snubbing the sales army for an hour, someone realized Jason had done nothing with the paperwork needed to get my refund. Finally got a few more people involved and got my refund, but then had to wait even longer for them to find my registration, assure me all contracts were void, and inspect the new car for damage.After the refund had been processed but while I was waiting on the other paperwork, Sanjay the Sales Manager made an admittedly generous / better offer on our trade which would have come close to negating the difference in APR, but by that point the experience with Jason's lies and the fight to reverse the deal had left such a terrible taste in my mouth I wasn't interested at all. They could have taken a few grand more off the cost of what I originally wanted and I would still rather take my money to any other dealer for any other car.If this is how this place tries to make sales, I can't recommend them to anyone. You may be fine if you arrange your own financing and know exactly what you're looking at, but these guys seem even less trustworthy than your average car salesmen.

From the beginning interactions with Josh V., we felt respected, no pressure and very supported for our vehicle choice. Josh answered our questions professionally, he represented Coggin Honda quite well. He showed pride and confidence in the product he was selling. Car buying can be an ordeal; when you have to replace a totaled car, it is an ordeal. My experience buying a new Civic with Josh Vizcaino took so much of the pain away that I have no hesitation recommending him very highly. Kind of hard to get 5 stars, I never got that in my years of working so don't take offense. It was a good buying experience but I did have to talk to 3 different representatives before I could come home and think about it. Sometimes you just need to get out of the dealership and think things over. I love the vehicle and after I arrived home after buying the vehicle I called the sales person to see about the cost of an add on. No word yet but it has only been a few days and the weekend was involved. I would definitely recommend that my family and friends consider doing business here even though we live in Palm Coast which is a 116 mile round trip. When my service time comes I am considering returning to Orange City as I did have a good experience and want to see how the service department is. I see I must leave my email address. I phoned in to Honda interested in purchasing a car. Steven Salgado answered the phone in a very upbeat and cheerful voice. His attitude was my first impression of the Dealership and right at that moment I knew that I would be doing business with him. He and I spoke for two days as he was busy answering my questions. Yes, I called back multiple times wanting more information. I went in fully prepared to purchase from Steven, however he was with another Customer when I got there and graciously introduced me to Andrew Russo, his fellow salesman. Steven explained that it is not in their practice to keep the Customers waiting and that Andrew would certainly be able to help me. Andrew also was very friendly and kept a warm smile on his face as he showed me around. I did make the purchase of a Honda Accord with Andrew. I do want Steven recognized because it was actually his personality that already had me sold even before I arrived at the Dealership. Andrew gets to be recognized as well because he took over and did a great job as well. I suggest that if you are in the market for a car, you go and check these gentlemen out.

I was out in and out in about an hour for my first 5000 mile service. They were thorough and courteous. My washer was not working and they repaired a line that came off when I had bumped my front end in my garage without charging me.The Lounge for waiting is comfortable and the coffee and donuts were fresh.

I just bought a new 2014 Civic that I absolutely love! This is my 2nd car I bought from Don Liska at Coggin. He works with me and understands my wants and needs and goes out of his way to make me happy. Also a shout out to Ulysses (sorry if misspelled name) in finance. He was great and explained everything to me. Great team and will see you again in a few years when I upgrade again. I highly recommend them and keep up the good work. First contacted Rebekah via the internet looking for a used car. We made the 60 mile trip from St. Augustine Beach and left with a new Crosstour! Rebekah had us work with Andrew.....who was extremely patient. He spent hours with us comparing the used verse the new Crosstour. We could not ask for better service from Andrew....in fact the whole staff at Coggin Deland Honda was friendly and knowledgable. Thank you Coggin Deland Honda for an excellent service experience. My car had been making an irratating beeping sound and the service light had come on. Oh boy! We had no clue, how we were going to cope with all of this mayhem, while visiting in Florida. We remembered our great experience with Miguel a service representative, we had the good fortune of working with during our last visit at Coggin Deland Honda, last summer. I purchased a 2010 Grand Caravan two days ago with some minor repairs such as the back driver's light was out, Passenger headrest missing and the vehicle needed to be detailed along with some acceptable tires put on the vehicle. Now, I can't seem to get the internet salesman to schedule my vehicle for the necessary repairs. The vehicle had just been traded and it is now obvious that a mechanic from their shop did not check the vehicle before it was sold. Is that even reputable? The salesman was supposed to call me yesterday before he got off and he didn't. When I was looking for a vehicle, he gave me very good customer service. Why not now? I just want the repairs done now and I would never recommend another person to this dealership. I gave them an average with the buying process because the Finance Manager Ozzie was very personable and nice. My friend Jason has already purchased a vehicle from your sister company and my son is purchasing from David Mauss Chevrolet. Two sales missed. One more to go.

On the 23rd day of June in the year of our Lord 2014 ...; I was at work, and it was my first day on the job, whilst I was affectionately and devotedly cleaning the grill, I got a call on the work phone - the reason for which was thus: A man named George Williams from Coggin Deland Honda called me to say: "Hey Josh, this is George ... congrats buddy, we just got you a car." I stood in place for a few moments mouthing a gape, and afterward replied: "no way!" He said: "Yes sir, no lie ...; after you get off work, I'll just need ya to journey to the dealership and fill out some paperwork. I said: "sure; no problem, and thank you!" Following that; I finished my shift, and was picked up from work via my family - after which, I was taken to the aforesaid dealership. Subsequently; I entered the dealership, and George Williams & Ozzie both shook my hands and congratulated me on the car. They had me fill out all the paperwork, and then showed me the car. It was beautiful; I thought I was going to cry .... succeeding that, George showed me the Engine, explained all the cars safety and security features, and described in detail the dashboard and steering wheels. In brief; he left no stone unturned, and was beyond friendly and kindly. I recommend Coggin Deland Honda to anyone looking to buy a car, and as for George Williams and Ozzie, they deserve gold medals. God bless them both, and God bless Honda.

My wife and I were looking for a vehicle for my son as a graduation gift. I was impressed with the responsive nature of Albert Northrup, our salesman. He was very attentive, actually listened to us first before giving us any recommendations, and earned our trust by doing what he said he would do, and following up when he said he would. We loved the informative, no pressure nature of Albert and this dealership. What was really impressive, was when we came to pick the car up, they had it looking great, and gave us the red carpet treatment. Albert went over all the options, from the Bluetooth audio, to how the cool keyfob works. Albert took his time to answer any questions we had. After living 40 years in New Mexico, I recently moved to Florida to be with my children. It was very difficult for me to leave behind the relationships I had developed over 40 years. It was very hard for me to leave the staff at Perfection Honda. They were my extended family, always happy to see me and took care of me as if I was a family member. My fear was I would never be able to find that in my new home state of Florida.Well, the time came for me to buy a new vehicle. My son spoke very highly of Barry Stadtler and took me to meet him. I found Barry to be very professional, not pushey and I really felt he had my best interest at heart. Once I made the purchase, Barry took me around to meet all the folks I would be working with. In the business world, it is often difficult for a sales consultant to balance the needs of their employer with the needs of the customer. George Williams III was able to accomplish this feat while overcoming some unexpected obstacles. George handled these obstacles for us with the highest degree of professional courtesy and integrity. My initial contact with George was via e-mail concerning a used car I had seen advertised on the internet. After communicating with him for several days, my wife and I decided to make the 90 minute drive from our home in Jacksonville, FL to meet with George about the car. It did not take us long to decide that this was the vehicle we wanted. In the meantime, however, unexpected developments made it look like we would not be able to make the purchase. I must emphasize that none of these developments were financially related to this vehicle and none were Georges fault. But George is the one who, with some help from the General Manager (Mr. Doug Sisler), resolved the issues so that we could make the purchase. George went far and above what is normally expected for a sales consultant, especially one at a car dealership. Never has a sales consultant of any kind gone out of their way to help us in the way George interceded for us. This dealership should be very proud of George and the way he treated us. Although we do not purchase vehicles often, we hope to remain in contact with him. When we do need another one or when a friend or family member is looking for a vehicle, I will tell them that George is the first person they should contact.The Finance Manager (Mr. Ozzie Torres) ,was also very courteous and professional. In the process of going over the computer generated contract, he noticed a charge that should not have been on our contract because our vehicle was used. He could have let it ride and we would have never known about the charge. Instead, he removed the charge. His attention to detail saved us some money. We thanked him for his honesty.

I had been thinking about trading my Element in for a CR-V for a few months. Buying a new car is not something I am comfortable doing. I really loved the Element, but it was stick shift and my knees are due for repair... I was nervous about getting a good deal or not. Barry Stadtler knows everything about Honda's, he answered all of my questions. He is easy going, no pressure, patient and he listened to all my concerns. I felt that I was in competent hands. Barry made the experience positive one. He led me through all the computerized features of the new CR-V, which took awhile! I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant car buying experience. I have been taking my Element to Coggin DeLand Honda for maintenance since 2006 and have always been pleased with the service. I will continue to bring the CR-V there and will be sure to stop in and say HI to Barry when I do. We discovered that he sold me my Element too!

Although I presented an AAA "guaranteed" MSRP discount printout, the salesman ignored it and wrote up the sale for nearly $4000 more than it should have been. Then, I was made to wait all day without explanation, each time being told that "it will only be 5 more minutes before the sale would be concluded." Supposedly, they were getting my car from elsewhere so they could deliver it to me the same day, but no one told me this. For some reason, it was very important to them to conclude this in a hurry but they never told me why. In fact, I was later told that they did not even have a driver available to get the car. Nevertheless, I was kept sitting there with no explanation. I felt like a prisoner since I was not even allowed to return to and use my own trade-in car. The lack of communication was reprehensible and the entire new car buying experience was ruined for me. This is the worst auto buying experience I have ever had. They gave me a loaner and delivered my car the following day. Gus, the manager, later told me that this was not the kind of experience he wanted his customers to have but, obviously, there was a very serious breakdown in communications. He asked me how he "could make it up to me" and I replied that it was for him to decide what he should do to make things right. We shall see.I have subsequently heard again from Gus and other people at the dealership who expressed great concern over what had happened and who resolved all the remaining concerns I had. While the initial experience affected my rating of the dealership, if I were to write a new rating based on the more recent contacts, I would give them good marks.

He sold me a beautiful certified Honda Accord five years ago and I contacted him again and went right back to purchase my second Coggin Deland Honda Accord. I went there without knowing exactly what I wanted. i had been driving a Odyessy and was wondering "something different"? Barry is very patient, answers all questions knowable and goes through the car in detail with us. We always go back to Coggin Deland Honda. We bought our 2004 Honda Element from Roger and he was so "no pressure" that we begged him to let us buy the car. (Ha!) Seriously, he was so pleasant, let us go home without keeping our car keys and we slept on the decision and decided to buy from him. We however do not plan to let our Element go but if we EVER did we would return to Coogin Honda. We have almost 200,000 miles on with next to nothing in serious repairs. We plan a 10,000 mi. trip and when we go on vacation we always take it to Coogin Honda for a check-up and oil change, etc. We we were not disappointed! Usual stuff from daily wear was all we needed. Miguel Carmenate was our service rep and he was very thorough with having our Element checked out and explained clearly what he suggested needing to do. We got all four brakes redone using a handy $20 off coupon that I was on their website. I took advantage of the free wiper blades that again I found on their website. I believe they honor other competitive coupons, too. Had the transmission flushed since that was due. And out the door in no time:) We live in Apopka and it is almost an hour drive to Coogin Honda but worth the drive and worry because of the satisfaction we always received from their service department. They now have an awesome new facility that feeds you donuts (yummy) and a big screen tv to watch during your wait. I also saw a play area for those customers that may need to bring their kids along. I would not hesitate as you can see to recommend Coggin Deland Honda for buying a new car and for using their service department.

For the first time in my life, I can honestly say I enjoyed buying a car! Every person at Coggin was pleasant and friendly. You are greeted by many without feeling overwhelmed. The sales people are helpful but make sure you ask for Barry. Barry knows his Hondas. He patiently answered every question and thoroughly explained all the features of the model I was interested in. He followed through during the buying process without the usual pressure I have had at other dealers. Best dealership i have been in for 30yrs. This is the 10th new car i have purchased. The whole experience with the salesman was great. Tom is a young guy with great potential as a salesman. Not pushy at all. Pleasant to be around. Knows his stuff. Got me the best deal. I had gone to Nissan and Kia in deland area. Would never go to Kia again. The Honda dealership didnt play games or have any hidden fees. They gave me a good trade on my car. I love my red Honda Fit. I have always been a chevy girl. Not anymore. I was referred to this dealership by a co worker of mine who had a positive experience. But with that said the finance guy Don needs some better people skills. He was aggressive and rude. Very pushy. Was not happy with me because he couldnt sell me any extra packages that i didnt want. He got an attitude and was rude to my friend that was with me. As a Canadian on an extended tour of the Eastern U.S. in my Honda CRV, I came to Coggin to check out some concerns about ignition performance and front-end vibrations at high speeds. I was very impressed by the professional and caring reception from Miguel Carmentate, and even more impressed when, after an hour while my car was put through the paces, I was told that the "problems" were not anything to worry about. (the vibrations were the result of mis-matched tires. There was NO CHARGE for the time or work expended to arrive at this diagnosis...

Spiros welcomed me immediately as my service advisor and checked me in quickly. My Pilot is near 60000 miles and Honda recommends several maintenance services at that time. Spiros helped me select which services to do at this visit and which could be postponed until next service to better fit my budget. Waiting area is very nice with big screen tv and comfortable chairs. When the battery check indicated near end of live for the battery, Spiros discussed it with me and adjusted services to keep it within my budget. Pleasant experience other than cost which comes at 60000 miles.

I just wanted to make a comment on the treatment I received as a customer at Coggin Honda in Deland. I have not purchased a new car in several years and to be honest the experience was not a good one so it was with a little trepidation I went to Coggin at the suggestion of a friend. It was 35 minute drive from Orlando but turned out to be the smartest thing I did in a long time. The first day I arrived the Salesman Andrew Russo showed me a few vehicles. I told him I would nor be buying today and he was fine with that, only telling me about the vehicles with no pressure. I left the showroom which is an incredibly nice place and told him I would most likely return. Two days later I was surprised when the general sales manager, Ian Riding called me to ask about my visit. He again gave me no pressure just wanted to make sure I had a good visit. I told him I would be back Saturday. I went back and Andrew interested me to Ian. We shared a laugh and got down to business. It was business but not bad. I got more than I thought for my trade in and I guess my credit was better than I thought because Im thrilled with my interest and monthly payment. I was also out of their in my new ride quicker than I thought. Thank you Ian and Andrew for making it easy!

I stopped in late on a Saturday after several days of visiting other dealers looking for a used Honda CRV. Found a good lead on the web and contacted them. They responded right away and emailed info to me about a few CRV's. Came to the dealership and worked with a friendly and competent salesperson. The test drive and the closing went very smooth The credit manager was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Not overbearing at all. It was an efficient and pleasant experience.

Had a broplem with our 2010 Honda Accord coupe. Had to have it owed to your dealership. I spoke with Miguel who I have delt with many times before for service. He kept us informed at all stages of figiring out what was wrong with out car (covered under our extended service agreement.Thur this whole ordeal Miguel was polite professional and made us feel like family. My fiancee and I had been recently looking for a used car that would fit both our budget and personal style. After finding some cars on the dealer's website that we were interested in seeing, we decided to make the short trip to charming Deland and the beautiful dealership of Coggin Honda. On our arrival, we met our sales consultant, Ken Belna, who was warm and friendly and helped make our experience a positive one right from the start. He was so patient as we took our many test drives, and were able to choose a car that was really perfect for us. Next, we met Joe Alvarado, who was just as nice and helpful, and ultimately helped us negotiate and close the deal, on our pre-owned Honda Accord. Our final introduction was with Wes Williams, the finance director who reviewed the details of our finance agreement, and was a real pleasure to work with. Overall, we are thrilled with our car and the outstanding treatment we received from the wonderful and professional staff at Coggin Honda. They really do go the extra mile for their customers and we would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or pre-owned car in the future.

My insurance agent recommended Barry Stadtler at Honda. I called Barry and made an appointment. He met me as I walked in the door with a very pleasant greeting. I had done my homework via the Internet and was quite sure I wanted a Civic. He walked me out on the lot, pointing out Civics available leaving out the colors I did not want. He explained the difference between and LX, EX and EX-L. I settled on the LX. At his desk he asked if I would like something to drink. I settled on water and he brought me a cold bottle with napkin. He knew I was trading a 2005 Honda Accord. When he returned with figures he could tell I was disappointed in the trade in value of my Accord EX. He said he would try to do better and he did. Everything went so smoothly. I had no idea when I walked in the door I would drive home with my 2013 Civic in my color of choice. He said to call if I had questions and I felt comfortable that he meant just that. It was the first time for me to buy a car and Barry made it a great experience.

The sales people with whom I worked to find a car I could afford that would meet my family needs were professional, friendly, helpful, informative, and easy to work with. Everything went as expected. All paper work was complete as requested when we walked in. No price haggling as that was negotiated before we got there to save time on the transaction. although I had researched the Honda Accord Hybrid, I had not intended to buy the car on my visit to the dealership. However the Sslesman was so accommodating, informing us all about the car's operation, the hybrid engine operation and arranged a test drive that allowed me to experience the driving characteristics of the car. The salesman, Andrew Russo stayed with us throughout the entire experience even offering us hot chocolate, as it was getting late in the evening. The entire sales and financing staff were courteous, not "pushy" and allowed us to make a decision to buy the car without feeling pressured. I would recommend this dealership to my friends if they were purchasing a car - and I live 30 miles away. I've had the car for a week and really enjoying getting 42mpg so far.

As a first time car buyer I was very nervous to be pushed around by the stereotypical car salesman. I feel very very lucky to have found Andrew at the dealership that I was most interested in. I was looking for the civic the first time that I came and after shopping around for a while I came back looking for Andrew and asked if he could show me the accord instead. He acted pleased and excited to me again and was so happy to help me out. He gave me his number for any other questions I might have and I ended up coming back to him again a week later and buying the accord. He is not at all pushy, so considerate, very relatable, and friendly. I am very happy with buying from Andrew and have recommended him to every person I know since!

Barry was great. He took his time to explain all the features the car has. We come to the dealer to buy one car and we left the dealer with two cars. We stop in the dealer at 7pm they close at 8 we ask Barry at what time they close and he response at anytime we finish the deal and clearly told us take the time you need my goal is you both were satisfified and happy with the purchase. Great customer service. We came back two days after to buy some all weather mats for both car and Barry work with a special discount for that and he also get usto meet the service consultant and set our first service appointment for both car. Barry was just the sort of sales man we love to do business with. He shared extensive product knowledge and was available for questions but was not pushy. He did not try to force a vehicle on us that was beyond our means either. In addition to these exceptional qualities, he has a lovely personality; laid back and friendly. We highly recommend Barry, if you are interested in purchasing a Honda OR a Ford from Coggin DeLand. As a side note, the facility is quite nice- state of the art- there really isn't much that Honda hasn't thought of. There are details that are tended to from every aspect. Waiting areas stocked with vending machines as well as complimentary snacks, coffee, and water, a tv for entertainment and quiet spaces for waiting or using a laptop or telephone, an impressive service facility that seems to run very efficiently (no unnecessary waiting etc.) Top notch all around.

We were already sold on Honda products prior to our visit as we have owned multiple accords and a pilot. The performance and durability of Hondas has far exceeded any other vehicle we have owned. Having decided on the new Honda CRV EX-L, we used the internet to obtain quotes from Central Florida Honda dealers. There wasn't a lot of difference in their initial offers. We did begin to receive emails and phone calls from various dealers. We informed them that we had elected to sell our Buick Lacross on our own and then purchase our new car. Our reason for this was that we , because our car was in Excellent condition, could get more for our car than a dealer would allow. Most accepted this premise, except for Roger Dowdy, Sales Consultant for Coggin Deland Honda. He encouraged us to bring out car to his dealership to determine their trade-in allowance. We were certain in our minds that we would get a low ball number. Finally Roger asked the amount we expected. We gave him the number and he said he would run it by his Sales Manager, Luis Torres. He did so and called and informed us we should bring the car in and that he and Luis would offer us a deal we would be happy with. We did this and within 30 min. after arriving at their dealership we accepted their offer. We have purchased a new car about every three years and this was the smoothest, friendliest, and most professional relationship with a car dealer we have ever had. Thanks Roger and Luis. We love our CR-V and know we got a good deal. We are telling all our friends and family about this car buying experience and recommending Roger and Luis and Coggin Deland Honda to them.

My car buying experience was wonderful. I came in about a month before I leased the vehicle and spoke with Mr. Russo. He was very friendly and did not push me into buying a car at the time. When I returned, Mr. Zedan and Mr. Russo worked with me on the final lease and they were able to get me the best deal, get a small repair done, and help me through the financial aspects. Both gentlemen were polite and very helpful and were not at all aggressive. My car leasing experience was wonderful and I would definitely come back to Coggin Honda in DeLand to lease or purchase another vehicle. We were looking for a used Honda hybrid and located a 2012 Insight on the internet at the Coggin dealership in Jacksonville. We contacted the Coggin dealership in Orange City which is closer to where we live and spoke with Andrew Russo. We explained that we lived a few hours away from Orange City and even further from Jacksonville and asked if they could arrange to have the car brought to Orange City for us to look at and drive. Andrew made all of the arrangements and we drove over the next day, test drove the car and ultimately purchased it. The car was exactly as described and the price was fair. Andrew was pleasant, courteous, and no high pressure sales. We would recommend this dealership again.

Best car buying experience I've ever had! I first called the dealership and spoke to Andrew Russo to get a price on a Honda Fit as I shopped various dealerships by phone. He got right back to me with the information and we set up a meeting time for that afternoon. Andrew called me before I arrived to let me know he had been delayed with long time customer but he would have someone else very good work with me. I arrived and Chris Perez was waiting to meet me in the lobby. Chris is the most professional car sales person I have ever worked with. He was very honest, very accommodating for the test drive and with all of my questions. Andrew popped in to introduce himself and checked in with Chris a few times to be sure things were okay. There was never any pressure from Chris or from Andrew. The negotiation process was very smooth and painless and I feel like I got a very good value for my money.Andrew was kind to go have the car detailed and filled with gas while Chris and I finished paperwork. The financial person, Troy, was also very helpful and very clear in explaining everything. Andrew went over all the features again just before I left, as Chris had during the test drive.I would highly recommend Andrew Russo and Chris Perez to anyone interested in Honda! We called Andrew and set up an appointment to come in and check out the car and deal that he could make. This was the worst experience I ever had with a sale person. I have talked over the phone with one of the managers (Allan Ragunt) to get the total price of a car I wanted to purchase (Honda Civic, Certified car) and asked him to email me the price in order to know if I can afford to buy it. Knowing the price, I decided to go buy it. When I got to the dealership, the sale person Addona Thurmond told me that that's not the price because the manager "forgot" to put another $950 for certification. After I've told her that's a made up thing and asked her to contact the manager that gave me that price over the phone and email, she decided to go ask another manager what to do. Obviously that was an intimidating strategy. Finally, when she saw that I can't be "fooled" she kind of gave up on that unreasonable extra $1,000. The whole buying process was based on intimidation. I did not receive a booklet of the used certified car I bought, and therefore couple of days later I've asked for it. Till today, I did not receive it. Every time I call Coggin Delland Honda nobody is responsible for their actions. I was put on hold (for at least 30 min) and transferred from a person to another without getting any help. I left messages and nobody returned my calls.None of the managers called me back and tried to solve the issues I have except Louis Touris who at least listened and promised to solve the problems ASAP. The managers avoid to deal with their employees' mistakes. It has been 14 days (2 weeks) since I bought the car and I am still waiting for them to send the paperwork to the DMV in NC in order to be able to get a tag or, at least to let me know what's going on. I am very disappointed with their services and professionalism.

I have never purchased a car before. I just moved to Florida, to Deland, and know very little about cars. My family helped me before I arrived, and Chuck was very flexible with at least three people emailing and calling him about my car purchase! When I finally met him, I felt like I knew him and knew he would not only give me the right price, but would not let me leave the lot unless I understood everything about my car. I felt quite silly--since I'd never owned a car before I did not even know where to begin asking questions!--but Chuck was not judgmental and told me everything I needed to know. He also introduced me to "my" service guy, made sure Matt Mink would walk me through all the paperwork, and followed up both at the dealership and later by phone. I love my car--but I also love knowing that should something go wrong, I know where to call. I was really nervous about buying a car, and Chuck made it very easy. My first time purchasing a vehicle from any dealership, and let me tell you, before I even pulled into a parking spot in my old 1999 Honda CR-V, I was already being greeted by Champ. Immediately following, he heard what I was interested in and didn't waste any time getting me to go inside to sit down and view a digital version of the lot, oh no no no. He took me directly to the cars, he already knew where they were. Knew the asking prices, what features they had. I only test drove two vehicles my entire visit. The first one we won't discuss because I can't drive a manual transmission, but the 2nd car, I test drove it for about 30 minutes. Went inside and filled out paperwork and Champ began to work his magic. He was the negotiator between myself and the financial department. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the car right away, there were some financial issues with insurance amounts.Not even 24-hours later, I was back at the dealership signing for my first CPO used car. Chris found the Honda CRV that met ALL of my requirements.....price, year, mileage, COLOR!!! and found it in less than one day! I have wanted this car for over a year now but could not afford it until now. The price was fantastic! The phone calls to Chris were so easy and productive! I am so happy with the quality of customer service that I got! Andrew showed me the car and took me to test drive it since Chris got unexpectedly tied up. Andrew made the whole process so easy and fun!!!! Not only was the purchase FAST and simple but I even got a delicious Columbian coffee to enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Felt a bit spoiled!!!! When entering dealership we were greeted and asked what they could do for us. Mr. Velazquez listened to our needs and was able to find us the perfect vehicle. Mr. Velazquez and the business office then worked to get us a fair price on the vehicle. Once the car was officially ours , again, Mr. Velazquez went above and beyond to answer all our questions and spent extra time going over all the cars features until we were comfortable with working all the electronic features on our own. After the buying experience that we had we plan on using their service department for our routine maintenance. Overall, the people at Coggin Honda Deland made our buying experience a pleasant one and we would definitely refer anyone we know that is looking for a vehicle.

Started the day by just looking at CRVs. Andrew came out to greet us and took us for a test ride of one. He is very personable and easy to talk with and ask questions of. He was very informative on the CRV and made sure before we went home that we had any of our questions answered. The time it took to finish the deal was fairly quick and easy.Andrew did a great job with getting us into our new CRV!!! And we would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I was in the market for the 2013 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite at the end of the model year which was becoming more difficult to find. I literally bypassed 6 Honda dealerships to find the exact vehicle I wanted. Deland was able to offer a very competitive price and accommodated me extremely well, including even sending a driver to pick me up 100 miles away! Even though Deland is not the closest dealer, when I am looking for another Honda I will start there.

We recently purchased a 2013 Civic from Chuck for our daughter's 16th birthday. Chuck was extremely helpful and patient with us, as we worked through what was important to us. After a bit of negotiation, we came to an agreement that we felt good about. Next came how to deliver the surprise car to our daughter. My husband and I took a chance, and asked Coggin Honda if they could "loan" us an older model car to use as a decoy, making our daughter think that was her 1st car. Chuck & Kevin from Coggin came through with a 1995 Cutlass! They delivered the "Gutless" to our house, and when my daughter came home, we gave her a small wrapped box, with the Cutlass Key inside. She ran outside, and was SPEECHLESS! She was even more SHOCKED when we took her around the back of the house and showed her the 2013 Civic! Thank you for making our 1st Honda purchase a memorable one! p.s. She LOVES her new car!!!!

I found a car that we were interested in on autotrader.com and called to see if it was still available. I spoke with Greg Ashworth and he confirmed that the car was still available and scheduled an appointment to show us the vehicle. When we arrived Greg was ready to help us and the vehicle was just as he represented. We test drove the car and negotiated the purchase and although purchasing a car is one of my least favorite things, Greg was very helpful in getting us a deal we could live with. We would go back to him again.

We have just purchased a 2013 Honda Accord Sport. This adventure started 2 weeks ago with a flyer in the mail that invited us in to receive scratch off tickets during a promotion. II went to Coggin's to help my daughter close a deal and both of us left with cars! Overall, my experience was good. There was the typical car purchase negotiation, but in the end, it was a good experience. Chuck did a great job listening and answering questions and did not pressure me to buy. The minute my husband and I walked in the door we were greated by Chuck McDonald with a friendly smile and a hand shake. We stated we wanted to test drive an Accord coupe and a CRV. He went and got the keys and off we went. He was very courteous and professional. He answered all of our questions about the cars. When I told him I liked the ride of the coupe, but I wanted to be higher up he suggested the Crosstour. I did not even know that this car existed. We test drove it and I was impressed, but ultimately decided to buy the Accord Coupe. Chuck made our experience at this dealership a pleasent experience. This was the most pleasurable experience we have had purchasing a vehicle.

Don was congenial, patient, and understanding with my OCD...LOL!As for the rest of the crew , everyone is always super friendly when you are buying a car from them.....I think / feel ; coggins deland is probably a good dealer as compared to other dealers I have visited, though.......I ready didn't like the $1795.00 accent group added to each car with out the customer's approval,... which then has to be nullified through long negotiations which is VERY DIFFICULT TO ACHIEVE..I found several other dealers who did not apply this charge to the customer? I appreciate having the freedom to choose what trim accents if any I want.... which was not the case at COGGINS DELAND. BTW, I bought the first new car in my life from COGGINS DELAND at their old location in 2009 and at that time COGGINS DELAND did not add the $1795.00 trim/accent charge to every car, maybe the new location has motivated them to increase profit marginsHonestly all dealers are alike, they put out the red carpet, smiles, & free coffee while using huge amounts of salesmanship psychology to win a person over to their way of thinking, which is...." we value your money & business, but want to maximize profits, " after all it is a business. All dealerships throw in a bunch of so -called validated fees to max out the profit margin.....well at least COGGINS DELAND is up front with theirs and probably very successful with those customers who choose to accept the extra cost.All in all walking into a car dealership is like a lamb walking among wolves... if a person is savvy, they may only get bit a few times, otherwise you are dinner!Conclusion: price was average & the experience was good, negotiations were long and timely (a tactic used hoping you'll get so fed up you cave in as after several hours there you don't want to look back at no purchase? Time was wasted).......friendliness was average of what a person can expect from people just doing their job, always trying to be congenial when money is involved. Don? I really thought him a cut above the rest,.. a 5 star. I recommend COGGINS?DELAND.thanx

Monday I didn't expect to buy a Honda. I made an appointment to test drive two cars at a Chevy dealership that evening. I went by Coggin just to look at prices. I asked Chuck to give make me an offer on a new Accord and was really pleased with every figure of the offer. I told him I might be back but that I wanted to wait and see about the other cars. I called my wife and told her about the offer and she was very pleased. We already owned two Honda's and my wife loved our old Accord. After going for a test drive with Chuck and reconsidering the offer we decided to go ahead. Chuck was great to deal with and showed how professional he is. He went way above what we expected to make our purchase an experience that we would recommend to everyone.

I'm writing a great review for my salesman Chad Tyler because he was so friendly to me and my wife and explained everything about the new Honda civic to me and her so we could understand it . I bought from Coggin Deland Honda because of Chad Tyler he is a really knowledgeable about all different Hondas there at the dealer. We where considering other Hondas but went with the new Honda civics for the price and the great gas mileage that it has. Overall I had a great experience there. Chad even scheduled for me to come back and get my windows tinted because they hadn't installed the tint on the vehicle when I had purchased it. Iv already given Chad's business card to a some of my coworkers and family as they will be buying a new Honda in a few months. I bought my second Honda Civic at Coggin Honda and I will never go anywhere else when I want a new car. Raul Velasquez was a blessing! He knew everything about my new car and passed that knowledge onto me. He was very friendly but not overbearing as so many salesmen can be. I had to go back after 5 weeks to ask a question about the second vehicle I also bought which was a used Ford Truck. There was no problem but I was in the area and decided to stop in. Raul was in the parking lot and came over to me right away, shook my hand and remembered my name! Very impressive! He is an example of wonderful customer service and should be commended.

I recently traded my 2008 Honda Fit on a 2013 Honda Fit at Coggin Deland Honda and the experience could not have been better. I was very happy with the ease of financial negotiations with Robert Velazquez - no hassling or endless discussions with other personnel at the dealership. Robert was very accommodating about finding the exact color and model car that I wanted (since they did not have it on their lot) and I had my car the next day, all cleaned up and ready to go. I think I got a fair price and good deal on my trade, and I am very happy with my new car.

I called Barry the day before the visit to make sure the car I wanted was in stock and to verify the price. Very friendly on the phone and when I stopped in the next day. Barry worked with me until we could agree on a price for the trade-in and the used car that I came for. Quick and friendly service all around. Even the paper work was quick and painless.Barry even took the time to sit down with me in the car after all was said and done to make sure I knew how to operate everything in the car. Even down to setting my phone up to the Bluetooth stereo. I may live 20ish minutes away, but they have themselves a new customer for life.

Don worked to our situation. We could only afford around $300 a month and he got us in a car that was less than that. He looked at our situation, got us approved for a certain mileage and price, then he only presented us cars within that range. It was a great, stress free experience.

Cars . com called and said Coggin could get me financed for under $300. Go in and ask for any salesman. Came to dealership to purchase used car, referred by wife's co workers fiance. Asked 3 times to speak to Chad Tyler , Rob Velazquez said come in and put us at his desk and he proceded to sell us a car. Rob took all information and ran the numbers and said because my my credit he could only find 1 car on the lot. Asked what type of car but he would not answer me. Chad Tyler knew we were coming to see him but we were at Robs desk.We appologized to him.Rob said he would split the deal with Chad. but he never did. It should have been Chads deal not Robs. Rob was gone for quite a while and finally showed up with a Buick Rainer 2005.We took a test drive and liked the car. We told him the payments have to be under $300. He kept coming back with payments at $367.00. On the contract the car was listed for $12,000 and he could not discount the car. After about two hours we had enough and left. My wife checked the Coggin website when we got home and noticed the vehicle price was $9,991.not $12,000.Rob called the next day and said he could get us under $300.I told Rob we saw the price on whe website was $9,991 and said he would look into it. He called back and said he could get it under $300 and to come in. I showed up with my father and was asked to go into the finance room . I asked Rob to see the contract but he would not show it. After all the papers were signed finance showed me the finance contract and the montly payment was $367. again. I got up to leave and told Robert he lied to me again about the payment. The finance man said to sit down and we can discuss it. He said no way would it be under $300. He finally got it to $314. and I signed the finance contract. Rob told us the 1st day he would put gas in car, service it, detail it and fix the camera lens under license plate. None of this was done. There was garbage in the car, dirty windows dirty console etc.. He had 2 days to complete this. He lied numerous times and we are disgusted I may bring the car back.

Having previosly owned 4 Honda's, we were set on getting a CRV for my parents who in their mid-80's and rarely drive. I sought out Robert Velazquez as I had dealt with him one year ago when we couldn't agree on the trade value of our vehicle. Robert was and is a true gentleman and dedicated the time my parents needed to choose the right CRV for our needs. After I dealt with the Finance Director, Mr. Sanjay Hironi (great guy also) My wife, Robert and I delivered the CRV to my parents home in Deland where the cash deal was completed. While it's a fact Honda cars sell themselves, Robert Velazquez really made the experience most pleasant and enjoyable. As far as the extended warranty offered, I'm reluctant to purchase any extended warranty with a 3rd party and it would/should be carried out up to 10 years/100,000 miles. Therefore I declined the option. Nonetheless, I stand by the Coggin Deland dealership and would be delighted to be an auto buying reference for Robert Velazquez due to his awesome maturity, integrity and inter-personal skills. Service was exceptional! No pressure sales! Third Honda Barry has sold us at Coggin Deland Honda. Very knowledgable and accommodating. We have a 1 yr old & 8 yr old and the environment is family friendly. Plenty of things to keep our older son entertained. It was a rainy and windy afternoon so Barry brought the cars into the dry garage area for us to view. We received a great price on the new vehicle and our trade- no haggling. Came to Coggin Deland Honda after looking for new and used cars in Lake Mary, Florida. Went to Carmax, Courtesy Honda and Courtesy Ford. Carmax offered me a selection of different vehicles to look at, Honda introduced me to the Civic and Accord, and Ford had some nice cars. I went back to Courtesy Honda to test drive the Accord and Civic and felt that the Sales Associate really didn't want to work a transaction with me. I was ready to purchase a vehicle and just felt like they didn't want my business. I decided to drive around and look for a different Dealership maybe closer to my home. I drove to Coggin Deland Honda with my wife and met Chuck. From our initial introduction he presented himself in a professional manner that both my wife and I appreciated. He had very good knowledge of the vehicles he was presenting and made an effort to hear me talk about what I was looking for. My son had a soccer game and we had to leave or we may have worked out something the first day. I came back the following day and Chuck was as pleasent as the first meeting. Great experience because of Joe Alvarado. We wanted a 6cyl Accord in a color that was hard to get. He kept us continuously advised about what was going on. When it appeared that color was delayed another week at the factory, he found another one in-state and arranged for that car to be brought to the dealership. Our last Honda lasted 11 years and was still going strong when we totaled itbut the inside of the vehicle suffered no damagesafety, thats why we bought another Honda.

I had two bad experiences with this dealer.This is the horrible place ever i went in my life. Champ and Joe Alvarado these two sales assistants just pulled me in to the dealer store by quoting price on phone and once i am there Champ was twisting the figures and made almost 3K difference with the phone price. When i ask him why you doing this - His answer is I am not a manager to take the decisions on phone. When i went to the manager - He is saying that i didnt give you the quote , Champ gave you the quote and i am not responsible for this.Same thing Champ Harsha Edirishine played the same trick and wasted my time and money.Cons1. Always try to push the customer to buy the vechicle2. No coordination between sales persona and manager3. False information in calls by Champ and Joe4. Mis - Behaviour with customers. 5. Sense less discussions. - Mr. Champ was quotioning me that cant you afford 3 dollars per day( As if he is earning for me) . He is trying to compare my salary and his salary and trying to make just fun out of it6.Last but not least - Jhey just waste your time.I strongly recommend not to waste your time by going there. Be aware that never belive their words in calls just ask for the Email confirmation. They just lie in phone and try to bulf you to come there and push to buy a vecicle- The worst part of my two visits is when i had the same experiece second time, i went to the manager and told him the situation and Manager anweer was - Champ was already fired so i dont have any connections with Champ.SO beware of this dealer ship - Please dont go.Thanks

Came into Coggin Honda not expecting to purchase a vehicle but left with one anyways. I was approached by Jeff who was awesome. Didn't put any pressure on me or try and convince me to go a certain way while I was there which i really liked. Showed me the inventory online and had me pick a few that I liked. We went out to look at one of the cars we pulled up online and he told me a little bit about it. We went out for a test drive and I loved the car. Jeff was cool the whole time, it was almost like dealing with a friend. There was a little confusion towards the end of the sale which ended in higher monthly payments than i would have liked and was told i was going to get. Overall though a good experience and i would definitely recommend the dealership to a friend.

When I approached the two salesmen outside of the dealership I asked fo see an Acura; I forgot it has its own dealership. Andrew was the one who spoke up immediately; the other salesperson did not respond but just looked me as if I had asked to see a rocket ship.Andrew was very professional. He could answer my questions with answers reflecting his knowledge of the car. He was very polite and not once did he try to push me into a sale. My husband and I came into the dealership for a repair to our 2004 CRV. We were waiting for a car rental because we would have to leave the car overnight. I went to Coggin's grand opening event last week, thinking I would-- at most-- test drive something. I needed to start searching for a new car because mine was getting up there in years and with a recent move, my commute to work was quickly putting a lot of wear and tear on my poor car and I figured it would not last the new year. I'd never purchased a new car before, but was interested in the Honda CRV and Champ left the party to show me why this vehicle would not only be comfortable on my long commutes, but how much safer it will keep me on the road as well! Here is for Don Liska who is excellent saleperson know make the customers like me for right pick on any type of Honda cars or trucks. At first with three cars model such as 2012 Honda Fit Sports with Nav, Honda CR-Z Hybird Ex with Nav, and lastly 2013 Honda Insight LX. We had time around this store at least 7 hours and have our lunch break. We have given lot of thought regarding for 1st test drive on Fit Sports and feel not right due to that fact have almost same another SUV Nissan Rogue. So I decided to go another test drive for CR-Z Hybird EX with GPS Nav. Mr. Liska saw me with happy face smile that is what I felt good abt it as great fuel saving gas with this Hybird 39 HWY and 35 City. It was about time to get rid of my 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor which is not great on saving gas 15/19. The price is great for trade-in and additional 8 years full warranty plan less than 22 thousands. I attempted to arrange this new car purchase online by getting pricing from coggin and another local dealer. I accepted the price quoted and tried to have the car ready when I arrived so I could sign and go. Instead, upon my arrival, I was told that the actual price would be 1195 more due to the second sticker on the car. This sticker has less than 200 dollars worth of accesories that were being sold at 1195. wheel locks, mud flaps, nitrogen in the tires and a trunk mat.Never wher ethe prices of these items disclosed individually. Then the questions about the other dealers price quote started. I showed the quote through my phone to the sales "manager". then they wanted a copy. The dealer ended up removing the equipment from the car, leaving holes where the mud flaps were, and took the nitrogen out of the tires. The tire were severly underinflated at delivery,this is a car that was for my daughter. This situation was ugly and deceptive. I recall past experiences at Coggin and will never step foot on the property again. I expected them to honor the quote they gave me, but there is no honor there. They gave me a certificate for an oil change, but who would ever let folks like these touch their car??

Our visit far exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with the facility even though they are presently in the process of a huge move to a state of the art new facility down the road. Don was so wonderful spending the amount of time with us that we needed and went above and beyond. When it was time to do the paperwork, Matt was not only extremely proficient but answered all of our questions to our complete satisfaction. Lee Chrestman in the service department continues to be a source of knowledge and assistance as we have already had interaction with this department for extra options which we selected. The professionalism of these three gentlemen is to be commended. We have made the decision to continue to travel the hour to get to Coggin Honda Deland for our ongoing, routine service because we have found everyone at this facility to be of the highest caliber. They match our previous automobile facility which we visited for 11 years and which was also approximately 1-1-1/2 hours from our home. My Wife and I have been looking at the new Honda CR-V for several months. We elected to use the USAA car purchase program and were given several dealer offers. After reviewing their email offers, the Coggin Deland Honda gave us the best deal and we made an appointment to purchase the chosen vehicle. This is our 2nd vehical purchase from DeLand Honda. The first was our 2006 Civic purchased new. We had all repairs and service done at thier service department, even oil changes. We were always happy with this dealership and of course we returned when we were ready to change vehicals. We needed to change to a larger vehical. Mark is a very good sales person. He was extremely freindly and helpful in getting us our Honda Pilot. Andrew met us before we entered the dealership. We just drove in on a whim we were actually going to another dealership in Deland. We told Andrew what type of vehicle we were looking for, a low priced reliable car for my 16 year old son. Andrew showed us some cars and when we stated they were all too expensive, Andrew said to make an offer on the one we liked best. We made an offer far below the asking price and explained that this was all the money my son had. Andrew and his manager worked on this deal for quite awhile and finally put the deal together for us. I feel that both Andrew and his manager worked very hard to help a 16 year old buy his first car and we are greatful to them both.

On August 6, 2010 I wrote a review of this dealership praising salesmen Barry Sadler and Bob Benton. Those comments are true. However, since that review, Coggin has sold their business to Asbury Auto of Georgia, and the new owners have moved in their management team that in my opinion HAVE NO CONCEPT of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am old school and like to change oil every 3,500 miles. Their service advisor, Spirios began to argue with me about not wanting to perform an oil change. It was necessary for me to inform him of the following: 1) it was my car and I could change the oil as often as I desired; 2) his ownership made money on each oil change; and, 3) NO ONE EVER WON AN ARGUMENT WITH A CUSTOMER.When Honda America contacted me regarding the most recent service, i rated them a ONE as that was the lowest grade allowed. I had my more recent service performed at Hendrick Honda in Daytona Beach. Mr. Hendrick is operating that dealership like his NASCAR team and the customer service is first class.In my opinion, Barry Statler and business agent "Smiley" are the only personnel at Deland (Asbury Georgia) Honda that have any concept of customer service. They can operate their business as they do in Georgia, but I do not have to give them my business.

Barry Stadtler was professional and knowledgeable. He listened to my requests and provided me with appropriate options and choices. Overall it was a positive buying experience and Barry was an outstanding salesperson. He is a credit to the Honda company. I have owned an Accord and a CR-V. This was my second CR-V and I would recommend Barry and the Honda brand to anyone.

I am a full time Radiology student that travel back and forth to clinical sites several times a week. The transmission on my old car failed two days ago. After a less than pleasing trip to another dealership, my mother and I went to Coggin Deland Honda. As soon as we got out of the car we were greeted by Andrew. A warm smile and a handshake, and we knew we were in the right place. He showed us several different vehicles, and took us for two test drives. He discussed the pro's and con's of each of the cars, and helped us settle on one.. the one. He helped to get us to a price that we were comfortable with. We went to the financing office where we met Matt. Another friendly staff member. My mother was dead set on going through her financial establishment of choice. Her credit union was offering 6%. But Matt was finally able to talk her into taking 2.99% through them for the same term. I was able to drive away in an amazing car, and I couldn't be happier. From the time I filled out the request for pricing on a Honda Pilot EX-L, the entire transaction took place smoothly. I received a quick email response. Champ has answered all of my questions and made entire process very smooth and enjoyable. Matt was very helpful and gave us prompt explanations on all of finance and warranty questions. Champ's explanation on Pilot's new technology has saved our few days of work to understand and setting up the car as our need. Great A+ Experience overall.

I shopped around alot for mid size cars. As soon as I test drove the Honda Civic SI I fell in love with it. Champ was very accomodating and profesional throught the whole process. Whether buying or selling a car this is the dealership to do all. My first purchase through this dealership was in 2008. My sales associate (Barry Statler) and he was awesome. I was very nervous about purchasing a car on my own after becoming a single parent of three. I knew Honda would be the most reliable choice. Barry walked me through the whole process and even checked on me 3 additional times after my purchase to make sure I was satisfied.A few years later after remarring and having a baby the unexpected happened..our baby had major heart problems and had to have open heart surgery. The financial burden was too much for our family. We decided to sell the Honda in an effort to stay afloat. Champ & Cory were so understanding and helpful. The dealership purchased back the Honda and provided some much needed financial relief. I know for a fact if it had been any other kind of car the value would not have stuck and wed have been unable to sell it at all.Only less than a year later to our surprise were expecting another baby. Without hesitation we went back to Coggin Honda and were delighted yet again in the experience of purchasing a 2012 Honda Odyssey. Reflecting back on our many experiences I keep thinking of what Champ said to us " Were always here to help you as life changes" and I couldnt agree more. Its a rarity to find a business who is always going above and beyond to exceed your expectations. I thank all of the wonderful staff at Coggin Honda for yet another wonderful experience!

I bought a 2010 Honda insight from Andrew Russo. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his brand. Andrew answered my questions honestly and factually, not trying to just sell ma A car, but to see that i bought THE car that was right for me. I have driven almost 800 miles (mostly to the beach and return) since I bought the car a month ago and am averaging 48 MPG, well above the 40/43 estimate on the sticker. The car is a whiz to drive, handles well, and has a fine factory sound system. I added tint, a backup mirror (easier on my arthritic neck), and bluetooth and all are working well. As a senior, I like the honesty and service of this small dealership.

I went out just looking for a used car.I stopped another dealership and found a car but the salesman tried to pushed me into getting a different one. I left that one and my son recommened coggin honda which was near by. when I pulled in Matt came out right away to assist me.I test drove the car I wanted and Matt took care of me with finding a place to finance it. Although it took almost all afternoon he stayed with me until the deal was complete. I would recommend anyone who is looking to by a car to go there and ask for him. coulding ask for a better salesman. As well as Matt , Jose (Smiley) Fernandez made me very comfortable and fun while he was doing the paper work.It took a long time because of my credit but he got me the best deal.thanks again to Matthew Mink and Jose for there effort and time.

I purchased the car on the 31st of Dec. I am currently waiting for the results of body work, the dealership is willing to do, and to remove an add on for paint protection however, the staff has been accomodating and communicating to make it right. I will edit further when finished with actions being taken at this time. I look forward to giving them all great responses.

My wife and I stopped into DeLand Honda considering a new or used Honda. We were greated professionally by Andrew Russo. We test drove multiple vehicles with Andrew who was familiar with all of the options on the models that we were interested in. We decided on the Honda Civic because of fuel economy, overall attactiveness, and resale value. There were no high pressure or pushy sales techniques. I would highly recommend this dealer. We will not have the vehicle serviced at this Honda because we live in Kentucky but I would expect a first class service. This is our first Honda and so far I'm impressed!Kevin OppGreenville, KY

I had been dealer serching in orlando for a white accord 4 cyl. ex coupe, new hondas were very scarce at that time. A dealer in orlando , who I have done business with in the past could not locate one for me. My brother and I were looking to give this car as a gift to our mom who lives in tennsssee. I gave on my search, figured I would have to wait until october or later to locate one. Two weeks later I was on my way home from visiting a friend in deland, I went a different route than I normally take which took me by Deland Honda. As I was driving by, the exact car I had been searching for caught my eye, it was parked on an elevated platform in front the dealership. To make a long story short,my mom loves driving her new accord in tennessee. She named it, "the white dove". Andrew Russo sold his first car at coggin to me, and Im a very satisisfied customer and buying this car from him was ment to be. Andrew was courtious, profesional and knowlegable about the automobile he sold. I would definatly buy another honda from him at coggin deland honda

The dealership is convient for any and all service, and maintance that my new 2011 Honda CRV elx may require. And it's close to my home which makes it even more convient. We first met Andy Russo at the Orlando Auto show. As I was looking at a Honda Accord Coupe atthe auto show, Andy approached us, introduced himself and spent quite some time providing us details about the car. Andy was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us that he worked at Coggin Honda in Deland, gave us his card and told us to come to the dealership. We went to Deland Honda and it was the best experience we had purchasing a vehicle. Andy met us, showed us a 2012 Honda Accord Coupe LX-L. I didn't thing we could afford this model and there was no sales pressure to purchase it! With Andy's help, we were able to work out a payment we were comfortable with and we purchased the Accord LX-L. We also met the Sales Manager who was very friendly. The final stop was Financing and it went so smoothly that I forgot I was in a dealership because of some past experience with other dealerships (not Honda). I would definitley return to Coggin Honda of Deland, give Andy a call, and purchase another vehicle.
