I called my previous salesman Juan Martinez but he was on vacation.So I dealt with Todd who helped me make the deal. Once at the dealership I worked with Mina to complete the required purchase paperwork.. This is an outstanding Dealership. Not the routine shuffling back and forth. They make it happen without the drill. I have had my other car serviced there as well--great service department also. An Absolutely superb dealership. I recommend you give them a try--they won't disappoint you.

Went with wife and son to look at a used car,located one at another one of there dealerships,spent 2.5 hrs as they were "negotiating" to get car from other location.We were told would have car there on monday.Monday came and went no phone call.Tuesday I called my salesperson was off ,spoke with manager who negotiated the deal.Surprise vehicle not at dealership as they saidit would be.He stated he would call me back to find out status as was unable to go to pick vehicle up.Surprise number 2 no call back.I called him again and was "in a meeting".Wednesday morning received a call from salesperson who did his job in locating vehicle for us ,he said that vehicle was NOT available as it failed there inspection,not satisfied I asked for the manager and again in a meeting with no call back.I called again and was told to speak with Jose who is the GM.Here is best part I called the other dealership as I was told where they were getting it from ,I actually called them twice and both times I was told the vehicle HAD BEEN SOLD,so much for the failed inspection .I then called Jose again we spoke for about a hour ,he gave me the GM lingo and even asked me about locating another car which I declined ,I asked him numerous times why did the dealership lie to me in getting the car and not getting the car and then the lie about the failed inspection which never happened as car had been sold on saturday as I also had the name of the salesperson who said it had been sold.Again no response to my question and no response to the lies keep in mind that on saturday I gave them a $1k cash down payment.This is not the way to do business and how can you trust the transaction and the service of the dealership if they lie on why they could not get the car and we were assured it was to be delivered to dealership monday.Bottom line the people at the helm of the dealership are about turning over the sale not about the service they promise

The used car buying experience I thought was nice. Peter and Roman were great. Less than one mile from the dealership driving home the check engine light comes on, I called them and they said we will look at it. Turns out the car needs a 800.00 repair. I know a used car is sold as is but really, one mile from the dealership! The service manager said he will see what he can do, and to call him. Four weeks later of no one returning my calls and the run around nothing has been done. How can you do business this way and stay in business? I need another used car for my daughter and this dealership will not be considered. Thank you.

I recently traded my 2014 Sonata for a 2016 Sonata and expressly inquired about the navigation system thru Blue Link. My 2014 had turn by turn navigation thru Blue Link. I explained to the salesman, several times, the absolute need for the same functionality in the new vehicle. He informed me that I would have 2 ways to access turn by turn navigation ..not only would I have turn by turn thru Blue Link but also thru Android Play app. For NY husband, Android Play is not an option, he does not have a cell phone and has no interest in getting one. I was told by the salesman "No Problem" he could access it thru Blue Link as he had in my 2014. I purchased the vehicle under these circumstances, and much to my surprise from Blue Link, the turn by turn IS NOT AVAILABLE for my vehicle and my ONKY option is Android Play. I returned to Coggin to inform them I did not get the functionality I had requested and they assured me they would "make it right"...Ha, Ha...they offered to take my 5 week old vehicle back as a "Trade-in" (at a $5000 depreciated value), sell me another vehicle that DID have the navigation system and it would only cost me $7000...WOW!!! Had I purchased the correct vehicle,5 weeks earlier, it would have been a difference of $3390...NOT $7000....When I protested, I was told...We're sorry...so much for CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!! Bottom line...both the Sales Manager and 2 of the salesmen INSISTED Blue Link provided turn by turn navigation on my vehicle....several calls later, to Blue Link, THEY DO NOT!!!! Guess it was my fault for NOT checking before I left!!!

Along with the general manager we were able to secure three cars total over a two day period. My daughter bought her first car also and she is very happy. The finance manager was helpful also. On December 2, 2015 I went to Coggin Hyundai DeLand to have a faulty switch replaced in my 2013 Veloster. To date I have been to this location for all service done on the vehicle without issue or incident. Today is December 23, 2015 and I have waited this long to provide Steve Stewart, Service Director ample opportunity to get back in touch with as promised regarding an incident which took place while having the vehicle serviced December 2, 2015. Eric Latham, Service Advisor checked me in service and obtained all the normal information needed and the car was taken back. Inside my vehicle, I keep a cup which contains monies (change) which builds up over the course of the days and/or months. This day to be honest I only had approx. $4 to $5 in coins in the cup, my US NAVY ring, and a small comb. When I went back to pick up my vehicle the cup of course had been emptied of all coins and left behind was my ring (thankfully) and the comb. I was instantly furious that someone in the service area would take my change so I approached the Service Director Steve, explained the change in my vehicle had been removed/stolen. Steve did what most managers do and explained that he didnt think the technician who worked on my car or anyone in his service area would take the monies but he vowed to look into the manner and give it his full attention. He even offered to give me $5 from his pocket to which I replied it was not the amount of monies that is important to me it was simply the principle of the matter which angered me so much. As of today I have not heard a word from the Service Director Steve and at this point, I dont expect too. This may not be the last Hyundai I ever own; however, I assure everyone it will be the last time I ever go for service at that dealership or purchase a vehicle from Coggin Hyundai DeLand.

Took my Elantra in at 3:20 p.m. with no appointment. We were experiencing problems with the transmission while driving, away from home. The Service Advisor, Eric Latham, accomadated their schedule to test drive and try to re-program the automatic transmission, that same afternoon. It was determined that the tranny had failed and needed replacement. We were provided a loaner and went home, the car is under new car original warranty, a new replacement transmission was procured and installed in nine days. Eric kept us informed at all times, and the mechanical work was done very well and neat.It has been 10 days since, and everything is well so far...We are very satisfied with Coggin Deland; wish could say the same about Hyundai, bad transmission after only 49412 original miles, NO GOOD!!!

Overall experience was good. Was looking for sporty economical second vehicle and had narrowed list of what I wanted to view/test drive. Coggin was first dealership stopped at to look. Walked the used and new lot before going inside. Everyone was busy and we were going to leave, when a salesman became available. After indicating what I was interested in, took a test drive. Had financing in place and knew what I wanted to pay, so didn't enjoy the pricing haggle that occurred. In the end, I got the car on my terms and I'm happy.

My salesman was very nice and we agreed on a price, but why when it comes to sitting down with the finance person thing get confusing? They pushed us to buy add on packages that we really didn't want, but they manipulated the interest rate to make it all work out. Also, the finance guty kept telling us that all the online auto loan calculators don't work well and never give you the true cost of the loan and the correct monthly payment. He said his system works different based on the number of days of interest in the month. Not sure if we fully understood what he was saying. It appeared that his main goal was to sell us and make a profit off of paint and fabric protection. It worked out in the end. We think.

Our Hyundai is just 3 years old and the battery died. This is the first new car we have had that has a 3 year warranty on the battery. We purchased a new battery and nowhere on the sales invoice does it show the warranty on the new battery. $175.15 for the service bill, wrong phone number on invoice and no information on battery on invoice. I feel like I was at Sears Auto!

I visited Coggin Deland Hyundai and spoke with a sales rep by the name of Mina Maleck. At first he was professional and understood my what my intentions where with trying to purchase a new vehicle as so i thought. We spent over 2+ hours working on a deal and at the end we came to an agreement to push forward on the deal. I then waited another 30 min and finally got to see the finance guy. After walking in the office the finance guy was the most rudest, condescending person i have ever meet he made me feel unworthy and stupid as well as the deal Mina had told me was only a hoax the deal had change and was no where near what we negotiated. Mina was pulled into the finance office and he lied right to my face and said "we never discussed that". I ended up not wanting the deal and walked away. As i was outside by my old car the sales manager Fergus Kelly came and understood my value as a returning customer. He went ahead and let me take the new car home and come back the next day to finish the paperwork with him instead of the finance guy, good news he was able to get me the deal i had ask for except that the loan went through a bank in West Virginia and now i have a hard time being able to pay them since there is no online bill pay website and no bank in Florida.After we did the paperwork this turn into the nightmare deal.As of 9/1/2015 i am still battling with them not paying off my old vehicle that i traded in. I have been communicating with TD Bank and also with Fergus Kelly only to get me no where and cause me huge stress. As of today my loan with TD Bank went past due and my acct got hit with a late fee and my 100% payment history that i have worked on for over 8 years is now gone since it has hit my credit score. After this horrible experience and still going through it, i will never return to Coggin Hyundai to purchase a new vehicle nor have my family or friends ever purchase vehicle. If this is how the Coggin Brand is I will never have anyone i know purchase from the Coggin Dealerships.

Found a car on autotrader.com for a family member, was listed as a Certified 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS, at $11,794. When we went in to view the car, was told at that time since it was a cerified car that he "Sparky" was going to add $2000 to that price. It was listed on the auto trader web site as certified and with a price, this is false advertising. If they wanted $2000 more it should have been listed that way. This place just wants to rip you off.

I found this location thru truecar. Truecar had a price for under 16K for an Elantra SE at this location. Roman was my initial contact. I felt he was a bit over agressive trying to reach me, calling multiple times a day. Despite this, we decided on Coggin Deland mostly because it was an easier drive than the other truecar locations. When we arrived, Roman told us he had a vehicle picked out for us, then promptly turned us over to Bob Armentrout. This was when I found out that the vehicle that Roman picked out was a GT. I did not want a GT, and was specific about that with truecar. To make a long story short, i spent far more than I had expected, with the base price at 20k. Bob was a pleasant person to work with, but he did not explain additional amenities thouroghly. He said nothing about the 10 year comprehensive warrantee vs standard powertrain. He did get into detail about the Protector ultimate protection plan. He also told us that the vehicle came w it on the car. I found out during financing that this was NOT the case. When I called Bob out on it, all he could say was "well we try to put it on the new cars". essentially, he lied. We did not learn the bottom line price until financing. I hate this. I know this is the way its done in general, but it sucks. My most stress free experience buying a car was the time that we did the financing FIRST (at the dealership) and then picked out our car. There were no surprises this way. We are happy with the car, but experience could have been much better.

We were contacted by Wendy from this dealership initially-promptly and politely. A follow up came with a "hit smokin deals". From Roman, supposedly a manager. We set an appointment to visit the dealer on Sunday, June 14th, at 1pm. We arrived at 12:40 pm, were greeted by a young man, whom we told we were to see Wendy. He left, and another man came to tell us that Wendy was not there, so he could help us. We explained that our instructions were to see Wendy or Roman, so could we speak to Roman. Then a third person (Roland)came, stated that Wendy was sick, Riman was busy filling in for the sales manager or someone, & he would help us. Roman was behind a glass window, we could see him, he was looking at a computer. Roland took us for a test drive in a dark brown car, despite the fact we had told both Wendy & Roman that we wanted a light colored car--& were told by Wendy that she had a silver Sonata Limited with all the features we requested& it would be in front when we arrived. Roland was nice, put forth the effort, but had no idea what we were looking for & tried to sell us a car.At no time did Roman come out to apologize or explain the reason for his unavailability, or even to introduce himself. In our mind this was a total lack of respect for the customer.We left-angry at what had transpired-since we had gone in there with a check in hand & the tag from our old car to be transferred, no trade-in involved. We travelled more than 50 miles to be treated with such disregard.When we got home there was a message on our home phone from the dealer, time of 12:37, confirming our appointment with Wendy for 1pm---3 minutes before we actually had arrived there. The message did not mention that Wendy was sick & would not be there.The next day we had about 10 messages on our home phone--stating they had a car for us , Wendy apologizing for not being there, & several hang ups since we were not at home. We were in fact out buying a Sonata Limited from another dealer, who was not affiliated with TruCar. This is not mentioned to criticize TruCar, but I did return Wendy's call and told her we were appalled by the treatment we received, & specifically told her how we felt that Roman was rude to not even come to introduce himself. The net result was we bought a 2015 Sonata Limited from Holler Hyundai in Winter Park on Monday, June 15th.

This was the VERY best experience I have ever remembered having with a dealership in my lifetime! The Salesman (Jorge) was wonderful. He was very polite, "gentle" in persuading me to look at a couple of the cars {not pushy as so many salesmen are!) that I might be interested in, since I was considering buying a new car, as my old car had high mileage and was in the shop. I was very hesitant in the beginning, expecting it to be an unpleasant experience, as it has been in the past,, to purchase their vehicle. He asked me to just drive a couple of the cars he thought I might like and let him know how I liked them. No pressure. He then asked me what I "couldn't live without" in my "new car" and produced that very car in just 2 AMAZING days. I love the dealership--it's all about the customer. The financing part was very easy, fast, and non tedious. I got an extremely low rate, much better than I expected, and a lot more than I had anticipated in perks, such as 7 years free maintenance/100,000 miles and even a voucher for a free fill up on gas, as I had just filled my previous car up that very morning. They made me feel comfortable from the the instant we walked through their doors, like close friends or family, and not stressed out about the whole car buying experience. I can never say enough about how impressed I was with the salesman, the dealership and my continued relationship with them to maintain my vehicle, and I strongly believe my next vehicle will definitely be purchased with them!

He was knowledgeable, thorough and attentive without being pushy. On a recent family vacation to Disney we arrived in Deland on Saturday night around midnight after having driven from Pittsburgh. Arriving at the hotel, I placed our 2007 Santa Fe in park only to have it roll backwards. I managed to get it turned off and the key removed and I secured the car with the emergency brake. We went to Coggin Deland Hyundai on Sunday morning.Lewis from sales greeted me warmly and took my information. He assured me that this would be taken care of first thing Monday morning. We got a rental car and continued to Disney feeling confident that we had made the right choice.As promised, we received a phone call from Eric early Monday morning. He advised me that they would tow the car to their facility and they would diagnosis the issue and revert. Later that morning, Eric called back to let me know that they had checked the transmission linkages and electronics but still did not know what the problem was. I was asked to authorize another hour of diagnostic time. A couple of hours later, Eric called to say that in fact the transmission was shot and needed to be replaced. Hyundai did not have a new transmission available so he had sourced a used transmission with 21,000mi on it from a scrap dealer. His estimate was 15hrs of labor at an installed cost of $5500 USD.We were prepared to walk away from the vehicle but first decided that a second opinion was the best option.We contacted the local Aamco Repair shop and arranged for them to pick up the vehicle and take a look. Early Tuesday morning, Aamco called to say that the linkage arm from the shifter to the transmission was broken and the repair cost was $300. We approved the repair and the car was ready for pickup by 1:00pm on Tuesday.We returned to Deland Tuesday afternoon to pickup our Santa Fe. Ironically while driving, I received a phone call from someone at Coggin Deland Hyundai following up on our satisfaction to our recent service visit. I explained the situation to the gentleman. I let him know that from my perspective it felt as though I had been taken advantage of. I requested a full refund of the monies paid. He let me know that this was not a decision he could make but that he would take the issue to the management so they would be prepared for my contact. The gentleman thanked me for not yelling at him as he said I certainly had full right to.We retrieved our car from Aamco and it was worked fine ever since. I inquired as to the cost of fixing the transmission if it had been the cause and was advised that to rebuild our transmission would have been approximately $3,000 USD.I have tried to contact Mr. Corey Dean and he has not done me the simplest courtesy of returning my contact.

Since Deland Hyundai was on 45 minutes away we decided to try another dealer for service. As soon as I called and spoke with Brandon Boyes I had the impression that we were on the right track. When I arrived for my appointment he was ready and got our car in for service without delay. He told me how long it would take and he was right on the minute upon completion. The price was right, the service was right, the timing was right, the attitude was superior and we departed very pleased. We have now found a place to take our car for future service. I can't say enough about this dealership. I haven't bought a car from a large dealership in years. I decided to test drive a beautiful 2010 Hyundai Genesis I found on their website. I went to Deland Hyundai and was greeted with so many friendly sales staff. My sales person, Wendy, was awesome! She made my experience enjoyable and seamless. Have been a customer since 2009. Went in today for the first oil change on my new Tucson. Mike took care of me. Appointment was for 10:15, car was done at 10:55. All vitals were checked, oil change was free, car was washed and they took a competitors coupon for the wiper blades. Everybody on the service team is fantastic, friendly and efficient. Dealership is clean and bright. What a pleasant experience. We could take our car anywhere for service, but we drive 20 min for the service at Deland Hyundai.

Service after the Sale. Its easy to sell a product by making promises how good the product is, its price and its warranty but unless you receive the service that comes with the sales commitment, the sale really wasn't all that. I have owned four Hyundai's over the years and have seen Hyundai grow from a relatively new name automaker to a world class competitor and quality automobile. One of the main reasons I buy a Hyundai is the warranty it brings. My daughter owns a 2012 accent that she bought from DeLand Hyundai through Lee Richardson, a low pressure easy to deal with salesman. She mainly uses the car to commute back and forth from Winter Park to UCF. About a month ago she called me and said the front end was making a thumping sound so I told her to take it to Hollar Hyundai near her house. She took the car there and they looked at it and told her the front tire needed to be balanced. After that she drove home and called me telling me the noise wasn't much better. Last week she called me and asked me to drop her off at the airport. As soon as I got in her car and drove it I knew either the front bearings were bad or the rack and pinion was bad. This really irritated me because Hollar had her car for 2 days and did not resolve the problem. I made an appointment last Friday with Eric Latham and explained to him and the service manager what the problem was we were experiencing. Within an hour of inspecting the car, Eric called to inform me both front wheel bearings were bad and needed to be replaced. He ordered the parts and now the car is as good as new. Will I buy another Hyundai, yes. Will I buy a new Hyundai from Hollar, no. I will buy my Hyundai from the dealership that honored the warranty and treated my family with respect,Service after the sale, that is what matters mostKeith B. DeLuca

Have used this Hyundai Dealership since moving to Florida in 2011. Although the ownership has changed in the past year, the experience I had has improved. I was impressed with the great staff, especially the quick and courteous service provide to me by Brandon Boyes. My appointment was for 1:30 pm, I arrived a little early and the service work was started ahead of time (oil, filter, and multi-point inspection) and I was on my way by 1:45 pm, including my vehicle being washed. A great place to do business.

The folks in the service dept. at Coggin Deland Hyundai are just great. They are friendly, they hustle and they are efficient. I took my Elantra in for an oil change and check-up and in twenty minutes, I had my car back (washed, too!), they showed me that everything was good on the multi-point inspection and I swiped my credit card and was out of there. It couldn't have been better.

There is nothing scarier than being far from home, and losing your car keys. I recently drove from Chesapeake, VA to New Smyrna Beach, FL to visit family and attend the Daytona 500. During one of the events at the track, I lost my keys. My uncle found DeLand Hyundai in the Yellow Pages and I called right away. I was worried that since it was a Saturday, I might not reach someone or they might have left for the day, etc. Stew answered the phone and couldn't have been friendlier. His demeanor was calming and made me realize the world hadn't just ended, I called the right place. We discussed my car key issue and he felt they would be able to cut a key on site so off we ALL went to DeLand! When I walked into the Service dept, it was very clean. There was a man helping a customer at the desk and he took a moment to greet me, which was nice. Stew appeared, smiled and said he was the one I spoke to, come this way. He brought me over to Peter who was equally friendly and professional and moments later I was out the door with a new car key and some bling to hang it on. I was told that since it's a new key, it might stick a little at first but it turned right over! I cannot express how much I appreciate the way they handled my issue. Customer Service is so important to me and these guys exceeded expectations. They treated me as a Hyundai owner in need, not as an out of towner who will probably never be back. I will never forget this experience! Thank you so all so much!

I came in for an oil change on my Ford F-150 purchased at Coggin Deland Hyundai last year. It took about an hour and a half which seemed like a bit long for an oil change. Eric was very helpful and explained that he would recommend replacing my windshield wiper blades as they were worn. He also mentioned that he would have given me a free car wash, but he couldn't because I had an antenna and Roll N Lock on the bed. They were concerned about damage to the antenna and water getting into the bed. I told him that I could have removed the antenna beforehand and that I have gone through car washes with no water getting into the bed. It would have been nice to get a car wash if I had known it was available. Nevertheless, I have always been happy with the service at Coggin.

Ron Prekup was a great salesman,everything was good me and my wife was happy until we went to see will in finance, thats when i felt like the earth opened up on us, he starts off with all this extra warranties and stuff, i wanted to run out of the office but my wife said she wanted the gap insurance they offered because a friend had it and she used it when she had a wreck.overall Ron is the man but i don't know about the other extra's that come after you see the salesman.

I purchased a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe from this dealership and I could not be more pleased with lee Richardson and this dealership. This was a complicated purchase as it involved out of state and elderly family members. Lee was willing to meet my time strapped deadline by taking the automobile to my elderly family members home so that she could examine it and make a decision, as I was making the purchase on her behalf. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE THE PLAGUE. I had gone on TrueCar and was quoted $17,538 for all the features I wanted in a Hyundai Elantra SE. I was given a contact person at Coggin. He told me many times that they would match or beat any price from other dealers. I found out later that was a lie. I called other dealers and told them my True Car equipped summary with features and price. I got a couple of dealers that said they would go down to a price of $16,399 and then another said $16,199. I came on Saturday and met with the dealer. He told me that some features on my list were not available and I test-drove a car. He also told me because of the features they put in like pin-stripe and tint that the car would be more money than TrueCar price .The other dealers would have given me a price of $16,199 before trade-in which I had asked for $1500, that is the only thing I received from Coggin Deland Hyundai. The total price of the car was $18,373 before trade in and everything. More than the TrueCar estimate, with the features I asked for. More than the price I would have gotten at other dealers like Jenkins - who told me to avoid them and they (Coggin) would tell me what I wanted to hear. I should have listened to them. More than the price at Holler Hyundai in Winterpark. I will tell every person I know and every review website not to go to Coggin Deland Hyundai.. THEY DO NOT HONOR ANY PRICE OR PRICE MATCH.

Typical shady used car sales tactics wasted two days of my time and the cost to have the car vetted by a mechanic. Who, by the way, found $1,200 in maintenance that needed to be done. Don't buy the "150 point inspection" line. Add that to the price that they were willing to sell the car for, and it exceeded dealer retail by over $1,000.

My family and I had gotten to a car accident a month ago, long story short are car was a total loss, so our insurance said shop for a new car. We had gone to Hurley to see if we could get a bigger vehicle since our family is growing. Worst experience ever! So then we went to coggin Hyundai which we had gone before but the experience was not as pleasant that is until we came across Mr. Lee he listen to us and was non-judgmental. He gave us choices and got the best deal for a 2015 Hyundai Sonata which our prior car was the 2014! Hyundai completely redesigned it and added more safety features to it!!! My family and I were very blessed to get Lee as our sales person! I will definitely recommend to all my friends and family to go there and ask for LEE!!! I have recently just bought a used vehicle from Coggin Deland Hyundai, and so far I've had a extremely displeasing experience with my purchase. I do love the car I purchase, but the customer service I have received is way below par specially after my purchase. To begin, while purchasing the vehicle I negotiated and agreed on the tag price of the car with one of the financial managers named Austin to be $8250, which would've made the out the door price be about $10,000. When Austin comes back from the sales manager office the price was still at $8519, but since he had changed some taxes figures around the "out the door price" was still about $10,000. The same night I emailed the dealership back and let them know I was not pleased with the deal, and wanted the car at the agreed tag price. The next day I got a phone call from the sales manager Mark, which told me they could not come down on the price because of how much they had "done" to the vehicle. He told me they had actually performed an "150 point inspection", and put about $760 dollars worth of work on the car. He also expressed how his used car warranty would take care of "anything to the vehicle". After hearing all that I negotiated to get free tints to the vehicle, which would've put me closer to the price I had originally negotiated. That same night I went and closed on the vehicle, and as I am driving home I realized that my alignment was really bad and pulling to the right, and my cruise control switch was not staying on. The next day I called the dealership and talked to my sales person William Martinez about the 2 issues, which he said that they could no do anything for me. He said the cruise control was not part of the warranty, and the alignment was fine when they "inspected" the car, and it was my sister's test drive that threw the alignment off.Two weeks after my purchase I took my car in to get my free tints, and this is where things got really interesting. With the tint job I also asked for the inspection report they had done on the car, which stated unfolding all the lies I was told by the sales manager and sales man. They NEVER performed an 150 point inspection of the car, and they NEVER checked the alignment of the vehicle before my purchase, and the service record only showed about $230 worth of services to the vehicle. As I explained my situation to the Service manager, he was actually kind of helpful and told me they would take a look at the alignment for me... That day my tint job was suppose to take 2 hours (so I was told over the phone), but when I got there it turned into a 4 hour job which they weren't able to get it done either way. They gave me a borrower car, and said the vehicle would be ready the next morning. I was a little upset because I live 1 hour away, so its a 2 hour trip that turned in to 4 hours, but since they told me they would take care of the alignment I didn't really get bent out of shape over it. The next day I was kind of in a hurry and just picked up the car without really taking a close look into the job they had done which I regret. On the drive home, the car was still pulling to the right, so the alignment is still off... Finally what took me over the edge and made me take time to write this report is the tint job which was done on the car. They cut the passenger window film wrong, and whoever did so filled in the space with a permanent marked to mask the problem (which I only realized when I was back home) So now I have to go on another 2 hour trip for them to fix this problem, which I am hoping will be fixed for good... Oh yeah, the funny part is, in the end the financial manager Austin told me they had overcharged me for the vehicle, which is now going to cost me below my asking price...

I bought this car a Sonatta 2006 at Bob Dance Hyndaia they sold it to me with checking anything (Yes I lnow I shoud have brought with me somebody ho knows about cars other than drive it (preferablle MAN) ). Any way I bought never knew that it was in a acciden , it was dirty (Still taken blood stains of the seats) never did any thing to help me up I had to put my son in law on the phone for them to fix the ac the right way (took it over 7 times in the service departmment for it to be fix) . As you can imagen I was very reluctan to take my car to any dealer..... Lance and every body in this Service department of Coggins Deland dealership, help me to feel at ease THANK YOU

Daytona hyundai refused to replace my headlamp lenses due to cracking inside the headlamp housings. The service director stated I pushed somthing with the headlamps and caused the defect. Possibily I pushed The goodyear blimp or the macys day helium derigibles. I contacted hyundai factory rep number and they referred me to your dealership..your service personel were familiar with the defects and replaced the headlamps while I waited.Your staff is top notch.courteous and knowledgeable.. I returned the car and explained the great service I received at your dealership and talked to the general manager one of the Ritchey thugs at daytona hyundai and posed the question why they were unable to facilitate a warrantyRepair, me being a former collisionCenter director for Lexus of tampa bay for over 14 yearsRitchey had no answer. Steve in the service dept is the best. Great help and I feel I'm not getting RIPPED OFF. I did pay too much for my new tires, but I believe Steve, did set me up for "NO PROBLEMS" in the long run. Would be nice to have some of that bottle water out there on the floor, but it looked like only employees could take one. Thanks again Steve. I bought a 2012 Sonata se 2 years ago from Lee Richardson, I decided I wanted to get a 2014 Sonata se turbo and drove 93 miles each way to see Lee because her treated me right the first time. The next day I drove back to see Lee and also pick up a 2014 Tucson. 2 months later the Tucson got totaled, so I called Lee and told him what I wanted and drove 93 Miles each way to pick up a 2014 Santa Fe. This dealer is awesome, both in sales and service. My experience here was remarkable. I went into the dealership because I was in need of a new vehicle and I thought that since I was young that I would eventually hear no of a salesman would just give me the run around. But that wasn't the case. Lee was so pleasant. He made sure that I knew everything that I needed to know and what all my options were. Also mike in finance was great as well. When they told me I had a car I was in tears. I had been told no so many times that I was just expecting to hear it again but that wasn't the car here. Lee was very helpful. Even though we knew what we wanted, he went over features that we hadn't learned from the other 2 Hyundai Dealers. They were friendly and met our price and had the exact car we wanted. I did not want to post a review on a public site and would have preferred an online survey from the dealership themselves so it may be an option for them to consider as they were too relentless in getting these surveys completed, which has been the only drawback of the experience. I prefer sincerity over aggressive marketing campaigns. We are overall, very happy with our new car and experience.

We began our car shopping journey at a different Coggins dealership. When we told Kevin, the salesman there, what we were looking for he unselfishly put us in touch with Lee Richardson at DeLand Hyundai. We were told that Lee would take good care of us and we were not disappointed! He was knowledgeable without being pushy; he was patient and flexible as we wavered between new and used models, and even went out in the pouring rain to bring up cars for us to test drive. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the closing of the transaction was smooth thanks to Fredy. Before we left Lee gave us a full demonstration of the features of our car and helped set up the hands free phone. He invited us back for further instruction on the car's many features any time we needed it. All in all an excellent experience, thanks to Lee!

We were seeking a certain color which the dealer who introduced us to the Sonata didn't have. The same day, George called me with his deal and my wife and I drove 21 miles to DeLand to proceed. In Sept., 2010 I paid a visit to what was then David Maus Hyundai. With his genteel approach Lee offered to educate me on the 2011 Sonata (we were considering a trade-in of our 2000 Sonata). I was quite impressed with the new vehicle, but was even more impressed with Lee's sensitivity to the customer's needs and what it might take to satisfy that customer. Moreover, Lee understood (and still does, no doubt) that a customer's objections are more often than not concerns which can be addressed simply by providing the buyer-to-be with information which the buyer may not have been able to ascertain prior to visit.It was not until today that I found a way to share our great purchase experience with Lee. That said, allow me to express my satisfaction with our 2011 Sonata and service thereof, and while I'm at it I'd like to give Lee fair warning that my wife and I may be paying him a visit (at Coggin Deland Hyundai) in the near future. Lee, at all times was very professional, courteous and supportive through my purchasing experience. This is our second Hyundai. The first one, a Santa Fe, was leased through a another dealer here in our area. That whole experience left a very sour taste in our mouths. Let me just start by saying Hyundai has really stepped up their game in the past few years and makes some outstanding cars. However, you should be cautious of where you purchase your Hyundai from. This is my experience: My first Hyundai was from Bob Dance in Sanford (now headquarter). At the time I believed it was great, I was happy, woohoo, I was getting a car... I wish I would have started here in Deland. The atmosphere here was the complete opposite of my past Hyundai purchasing experience. In Sanford I was basically sat down in a car with the sales manager and extremely pressured to buy the car. Like I said at the time I was just happy to be buying a car. This go around was my wife's turn for the new car, and I was fortunate enough when I walked in Hyundai of Deland, to be greeted by Lee. He is truly an outstanding person. All sales people want to sell you a car. (Why wouldn't they? Its their job) Lee never once tried to sell me anything. He asked me what I wanted & why I was there and simply pointed me to "this or that" section of the lot. Every car I thought I liked, he didn't bat an eyelash and was Johnny on the spot with the keys. I made this man walk me around the parking lot a good five times and test drive quite a few different cars before I actually decided to buy not one, but two new 2014 Sonatas. I highly recommend Hyundai of Deland, but even more so recommend W. Lee Richardson. If you have a choice of choosing a finance agent give Rodney a go around. A few days after my purchase I was reviewing the purchase paperwork & came across a few of what I thought were errors, but weren't errors at all. I called Rodney he guided me though my questioning and told me which forms / warranty papers go with each other. After being on the phone for about five or so minutes he cleared all my questions up. Buying from Hyundai of Deland was truly a pleasurable experience. I have already & will continue to recommend HoD to friends, family, and co workers. I cant wait to come buy another!!!

I worked with Mr. French. I called the internet dept., and Peter, invited me over to see what dealership had in Inventory. I drove over from Pt. Orange and had a great time with Peter. No pressure, no bad mouthing others, just a very pleasant man to deal with. I looked at inventory and told Peter I would be back next day. He wished me good evening and "see you tomorrow". In 30 years I have purchased 9 new cars in three different states. This was the best experience I ever had buying a new car. Lee was great. He actually listened to what I was saying. He stayed with me and answered all my questions. He did not try to pressure me. I was introduced to Warren and talked with him also. It was real evident that him and Lee were on the same page. I don't have the names of the finance person or other showroom person (said she was from Florida but sounded like Tennesee) I talked with, but they were all all very real and sincere and wanted to make sure sure my experience was a good one and I was happy. That is our second new car we bought from Deland Hyundai. Hopefully we will not need another car for several years. But I know that we will be going back to Deland Hyundai when we do.

Walking into the Hyundai dealership was the last of 10 places I went to to look for a car. My co-signer & I had been car searching for going on 10 hours that day with no intention to buy anything. I held the same intention walking into Hyundai of DeLand however, left with just the opposite 2 hours later. Working with Lee was great. He was so easy going and encouraging but also straight forward and realistic. I don't think anyone else could have convinced me to actually buy a car. As a woman, you almost expect a losing battle when it comes to buying a car but, that was not the case at Hyundai of Deland. This dealership was able to clear up a communication issue with my trade-in which resulted in a shortage in the pay-off amount. The folks at Hyundai of Deland are not your typical car salesmen. They are very human. From the moment I walked in feeling upset about having to downgrade my old car, I felt empathy every step of the way from Lee, to his Manager to their finance manager and their administrators. I have already been for service twice and the folks in the service department are just as human, empathetic and kind. This dealership definitely lives up to its reputation. Lee was great!! I had done a lot research before I went, so I knew what I wanted. He was careful to be sure I was aware of all my options but he never pushed me to buy something I did not want. He worked with me on price and delivery and he checked up after the sale to be sure everything was okay. As a first time buyer, I was not sure what to expect when it came to purchasing a vehicle. You constantly hear all of these stereotypes of car salesmen being sharks, and as a young woman, I feared I would not be taken seriously. Lee put all of those stereotypes to rest! He was very thorough and fair. He did not play games and I could tell he was genuine in trying to get me the best deal possible. He took my budget and my needs seriously and helped in finding me my dream car. The day I came to pick my car up, he surprised me with balloons, making this an amazing experience as a first time buyer. He made sure the car had a full tank of gas and even helped me in making sure I knew all of the great features my car had to offer. Lee went above and beyond in making sure I left that dealership knowledgable and extremely happy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is trying to purchase a new car. It is very hard to find genuine people in this type of business but he is one of the few.

As a woman, car buying can be an undesirable experience. I appreciate that I was able to park and get out of my car before a salesperson ascended on me to "help." I've been to dealerships where there's already been a salesperson at my window before I turn my engine off---bit unnerving. Working with Lee was a breeze of an experience, he greeted me at the entrance and took the time to listen why I was there that day instead of firing a bunch of questions at me. He worked quickly to get my questions answered and patiently guided me through the different channels and processes incurred with trading in and getting a new car. This is the second purchase I have made at Deland Hyundai and both time I have been very satisfied with the outcome. Lee Richardson was my sales rep. and because of him I ended up with a great deal on a 2013 Santa Fe. Our conversations were enjoyable and he did not put any pressure on me to close a deal the first time I was there. I wanted to do some further research before making my decision and to his credit he waited for me to get back in touch with him. We actually closed the deal over the phone the next day and when I arrived later that afternoon everything was just as we had talked about, at exactly the price I agreed on. I recently purchased 2 vehicles at hyundai of deland , a 2013 veloster for a friend and a 2013 elantra gt for my use . Diane Greenlaw was / is my sales lady that ive talked with for the last year or so . She is very knowledgable about the cars , helpful and went the extra mile for me so to speak in setting up my phone in the elantra . She showed extreme patience as I ask about everything but really have little patience myself . I came late afternoon saturday to buy my elantra and drove a few models . I owned a 2007 sonata that gave me good service and I loaned it to my daughter in law for a year to drive with my sons children as I felt it was a very safe and dependable car . I drove the sonata 2013 hybrid car and was very impressed with it as I traded a 2010 Toyota prius in for my new car . i Did not like the tan interior of that car so i decided on the elantra gt as it was more to my liking with the dark interior and the glass panoramic moon roof . I love the size , handling, economy , sportiness and looks of my new elantra gt . Diane made arrangements to get my car there from one of their other lots and had it detailed that evening . I took care of the paperwork and financing with the same gentleman that i purchased the veloster from a couple months ago and he was puzzled as he remembered my friend and my name from the previous purchase until i said that this one was for me -- he laughed as he remembered us. i drove away after their closing time and the detail man stayed late along with the owner and key people and diane to accommodate me with my new elantra . Everyone went out of their way past their quitting time for me . I've taken many friends to the Hyundai dealer to look at their cars and think that the engineering , safety and looks of their cars plus the economical price cannot be beat - Diane has become a friend of mine and she is always available and happy to help with anything i need , i cannot give her enough kudos as i know that im a very hard sell . I just had my windows tinted at deland hyundai and love the free car washes anytime i want at the dealer , the service squad is cheerful , attentive and very friendly -- all in all i feel very happy about my experience there and i guess im their biggest cheerleader -- JOHN MAILANDER JR DELTONA FLORIDA

Before the holidays, my husband and I thought about replacing our Honda Accord (1997) which had over 215,000 miles on it. The car was running well, so we decided to go to a Honda dealership due to loyalty. However, as I talked to people that I met driving Hyundai cars, I decided that I might give the dealership in DeLand a visit. I wasn't sure of the exact car, but I knew I wanted a sedan. So Tom Cramer, our salesman, answered our questions courteously and professionally. He allowed us to walk around the dealership surveying the various models without feeling pressured into purchasing anything. After driving the elantra, I went to several dealerships and drove similar sedans. Three visits later with Tom, I told him we were ready to talk. Once my decision was made to purchase an elantra, the process was simply. Everyone was courteous and professional. Lana Thornburg was quite knowledgeable and helpful as well. Both she and Tom called me after my purchase within the next few days to see how my car and I were doing. Which by the way was great!!!! I look forward to a long relationship with the Hyundai of DeLand dealership.

First off, thanks to Rubin! Without his understanding and professionalism we would have walked out of the dealership.On our first visit we test drove a Santa Fe and found the pricing a little high and the trade a little low. We decidied to do some research and return the next day. When we got home there was an Emial from Diane Greenlaw, their internet sales person, detailing a Santa Fe she had in stock(she had got out Email address from the Hyundai USA site). The price was remarkable even though she had inflated the MSRP by $1,000.The next day I gave a copy of the Email to Rubin and said I wanted to test drive this one. After 20 minutes the Dealership could not find the keys so the three of us started to walk the lot to find it with no success, another 20 minutes gone. We waited another 20 minutes before Rubin returned to share with us the car was not on the lot and a clerical error had occurred, there was no car. My first thought was the old Bait and Switch tactic since nobody from the desk or a Sales Supervisor even bothered coming out with Rubin. Rubin said he had taken our case to the top and the Store would keep the price even if they had to get one from another dealer which they did and also gave a little more on the trade. It still bothers me that no member of management stepped forward to smooth out our bad experience and felt the internet sales person should share the sale with Rubin. My first experience with Hyundai of Deland was back in April 2012 when I purchased my first car, it also was the first time that I met Diane (Princes Di) Greenlaw and from the moment that she offered to show me around, I was very impressed. Never pushed me to make a quick decision or impress me with every car available in the showroom. Instead, she asked questions as what I was looking for, sharing my information with her so she can narrow the choices that were in front of me. We tested drive my first choice and to make my experience the best one ever purchasing a vehicle, I drove my Sonata home same afternoon. Diane, took the time to showed me every little detail in the car. What got my attention was her vast knowledge of the vehicle that she sold me and others that we looked at. My second experience, dealing with Diane, was on November 30th, we were looking for a second vehicle for my wife, and I decided to call Diane, based on my great experience and the way the dealer in general makes me feel, we arrived around 5:30 P.M., and after 3 and half hours, my wife was behind the wheel in her brand new Accent. Diane, again, did not push my wife to make any quick decision, instead, talked and worked with her, showed her the different models available and making sure that my wife needs were met. At the end of that night, my wife and I were very happy with the service provided and satisfaction that we very seldom get when making such a big purchase. Diane Greenlaw, deserves to be recognized for the treatment to her clients, and for the way she represents in every way the dealership. We believe that Diane not only serves her customers, but anyone that walks thru the doors in same fashion, as we brought a paper for the finance manager the next day, we were accompanied by family members visiting from out of town, they tought that she was a personal friend of us by the way she greeted us instead of a salesperson.

I would like to write a letter of recommendation for Joey Preysler of Hyundai of Deland. We had just begun looking at new cars several months back and stopped in at Hyundai of Deland when they were getting ready to close. Joey took the time to show us the Azera and the Genesis. We chose not to drive one that evening. Several months later we stopped in again in the daytime. We again talked with Joey - this time driving a Sonata as there weren't any Azeras or Genesis on the lot. A few days later Joey gave us a call as 3 Azeras came in that day. We drove it, we loved it and we bought one. Joey was knowledgeable, exceptionally patient, good natured, and laid back. If we had been pressured, we would have walked out. The whole staff was friendly and helpful and did not pressure us. After the sale, Joey called us several times to see if we liked the car and if he could answer any questions. Please allow me the opportunity to express my buying experience with Hyundai of Deland. We are not new to Hyundai of Deland, we purchased a vehicle back in 2011, and the experience was great and the vehicle along with the warranty and service was absolutely fantastic. When you visit the Service Department you will find out why they are one of the best due to people like Steve Shoener. When we arrived at the dealership we talked with Al Ross, who did not pressure us, had a straight forward attitude and encouraged us to drive all the vehicles we had an interest in. Once we had narrowed our choice down to one vehicle, Al made the transition easy and introduced us to Jim Craig, the Sales Manager. Let me say this, if this man was ever let go by this dealership or he decides to leave, it would be a great loss for Hyundai of Deland. We are very pleased with our 2013 Elantra Limited and when you compare vehicles to vehicles and dealerships to dealerships, you will have a hard time convincing yourself you should do business anywhere else other then Hyundai of Deland.

Just bought our second Hyundai from George Rabine of Hyundai of Deland. The first being an 2013 Elantra that was purchased in June of this year and we were so impressed w/ the easy going, laid back, NO PRESSURE, sales tatic that we decided to go back when the lease came due for our 2010 Pilot. Today we bought the 2013 SantaFe Sport. George and the whole staff of managers all treated us like a friend instead of a combat adversary like other dealers we've delt with in the past. We have owned 9 Honda's in the past 12 to 15 years. I have to admit, that these Hyundais "feel" better than the last 3 Hondas we've owned. Give Hyundai of Deland a chance and you will NOT be sorry you did.

The buying process was fine until it was time to address the financing. They kept us there 3 hours showing us the car and signing preliminary paperwork. We were told that the finance guy was working to get us the best rate possible. When we went into his small room with camera positioned strategically in the corner so his superiors could watch the negotiation, we were told that the best he could do was 3 points higher than what it should be. He said that because of the few dings on our credit, that that was the only bank that would approve us. Lies. We said ok then we will leave. Miraculously (within seconds) another bank answered with a rate 2 points lower! He was just clicking on the computer pretending to check rates. We left feeling betrayed , and lied to. Overall not a good experience.

Well, I was just shopping for a car, not in particular. I kind of liked the Elantra, so the sales person started paper work for me. While I was finishing paper work, he took MY keys to look at my car and drive it. Came back inside and said he would only give me 4,000 dollars for my 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer which is in GREAT condition. When I asked him to go up on my car offer he did not want to budge much. Well, I found out why when I went back out to my car to leave. Somehow he or they cracked my windshield!!! I have a huge crack across my windshield now. When I went back inside to say something, because it was not there before, they of course denied it, but somehow knew exactly what I was talking about! They said that was the reason why they would not offer me much on my car. (Which if that was the reason, why didnt they say when I asked them to go up) I had to call the police to get a police report. When the Officer made the report he told me that he is not surprised, because it has happend before!!!!! The officer told me to go inside and ask for the General Manager and his number. When I went back inside I spoke to the "General Manager" Warren. He was very rude. I asked who was above him, he said I dont need to know anyone above him and he is the owner. I later looked online and found the President and Vice President's name and number for the company. Who I will be calling tomorrow. They were very rude, just said they did not do it and pretty much shrugged it off. I recommend that if ANYONE goes car shopping ANYWHERE go with the sales person when they take your keys!!! Lesson learned.

We have owned our Elentra for over 1 year and have been especially happy until this week when we found we bought a brand new car THAT DID NOT INCLUDE A SPARE TIRE OR 'DONUT' TIRE OR JACK. It felt like the day I learned when you buy a toilet the toilet seat is NOT included. Imagine spending thousands of dollars on a car and it not including a spare tire. Imagine Hyundai boasting about its product being safe, having all the safety features but not including a spare tire or jack. That is what I get for 'assuming' anything!! Never would I have imagined I left that sales lot lacking anything but I did. I have driven to NY state from Florida twice without a spare tire, leaving me feeling stupid and insecure.

My husband and I had been searching for a new car for quite a while. Sometimes the search wasn't very pleasant. We met some rather shady and some very pushy sales people. Finally, we narrowed the field to the Hyundai Accent and wanted the GLS with the premium package (cruise control among other things)and an automatic transmission. Dealership after dealership and the story was always the same - nothing like that available, BUT we just happen to have this....or that....available! We kept searching. After an internet search(one of many)one day recently, I came across Deland Hyundai and sent a request about the car we were seeking. Diane Greenlaw responded immediately. She not only had the car - she had my favorite color, and it was fresh off the truck - no miles! We asked a million questions, exchanged several emails with her, and she handled it all with grace and ease. She gave us a fair price, was honest in her answers, hid nothing inside the transaction, gave us a fair trade-in price, and worked extremely hard to make it easier for us. Finally, the day arrived for purchase, and we drove in a thundering rainstorm to Deland from Orlando to seal the deal. Diane greeted us like we were family. She was warm and welcoming, and very soon we were on the road for a test drive. She was pleased it was raining so we could see how well the Accent responds to bad weather. She was so right! We were given the info we needed and our manuals and quick reference material by a very nice customer service gal in the lobby. She was helpful and friendly and answered all our questions, gave us lovely T-shirts and took us to pose next to our new car for pictures for the Deland Hyundai Facebook Page! Then Diane took us to meet Kevin Davis, the Business Manager, while she got our new car ready for the road and with a full tank of gas! We signed the necessary paperwork, and he answered our questions about our new, extended warranty. We prepared to leave for home, but Diane wasn't finished with us quite yet. She took the time at the end of a very long day for her to help us sink both our cell phones to the bluetooth connection in the Accent. One the way home, we called our daugther in Minnesota to share our good news. She sounded as though she was sitting in the Accent with us! Wow...as Diane so aptly said, "Ain't this technology grand!" (Wink!)So, would I go back or would I refer someone to this dealership. The answer is a resounding yes! We haven't had to go in for service yet, but I am confident that we will be pleased there too. And, we can always go in for a carwash whenever we're "in the neighborhood!" Nice...

I bought my car new here when it was the David Mause group . Its now even better . I had a battery problem , spoke to Steve in service and told him my daughter uses it for school . He told me to bring it right in . Now I live about a half hour away,but its worth making the trip . I would not buy a car from the local dealers , all of them clowns ! No bump sticker - no b.s. - just straight dealing . Do yourself a favor and see this dealer last. That way you will see how great they are .

As we drove up at the dealership, we were greeted by a pleasant, friendly salesperson, Diane "Princess Di" Greenlaw. Within minutes,we were impressed by her knowledge of the Hyundai automobiles. Without pressure, she focused on our needs and preferences. Before our test drive of a Genesis, she explained in detail the various instruments and controls, making sure we were comfortable with driving it. She proudly discussed the services of the dealership, giving us a tour of each department, introducing us to employees, especially the service department. With an impressive trade-in, we purchased a 2012 Genesis. DeLand Hyundai did not have the color Genesis we preferred. The Platinum Metalic color we preferred was found in Lakeland, Florida. It was brought to Deland within hours, and ready for us the next day. The only problem we have experienced was programming the HomeLink Wireless Control, which was due to the loss of our hand-held unit. Diane went the second mile and came to our home, patiently working by phone with HomeLink to make it work successfully. Diane Greenlaw rates a 5+!

George was very upfront about price and manages their internet department. Total time to test drive and purchase the car was approximately 3 hours, which is relatively average from my experience with two other car purchases. Everyone was very friendly and the owner even brought us popcorn during the purchase as we had not eaten dinner and it was late. New ownership took over a year ago and has this place in the right direction.

I must say that my experience with THIS dealership was different & pleasant to say the least. I first went to see & test drive the vehicle that I was interested & was met by Lee W. Richardson who answered all my questions & was patient & courteous but most of all NOT a pushy salesman & he did not hold me captive or tried to tag team me with other sales personnel which I had previously experienced & hated it. I am not an impulse buyer & when making a major purchase I like to take my time & discuss my investment in detail. I do my research before sitting down to sign in the dotted line. In this visit I did explain to Lee that I was first on a fact finding mission & he did not try to convince me right there in signing for a vehicle. I left with my questions answered & about ten days alter I called him & made an appointment to meet again & was once again we spoke & test drove the same vehicle once again & sat down to talk over the deal. He was not pushy & very patient & I appreciated it. I was introduced the General Manager as well as the sales manager & not because they were there to push the slae down my throat. They explained in detail what the offer was. I did want more for my trade in but then what consumer doesn't... We did haggle in a non-batting manner until we meet somewhere in the middle. I was introduced service manager & shown to the big indoor service department which was a clean shop, for me a good sign. Once we agreed it did take a bit longer as the dealer was experience a high volume of sales that week day which was interesting because even during these bad economical times there were several buyers. I guess a sign of a recovery? If they continue with this courteous style they should be very successful. I would strongly recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership.

Buying a car is like going to the dentist for me. This was a very pleasant experience. I would encourage my friends to checkout Hyundai of Deland before buying any where else.There was no pressure to buy from Mr.Lee Richardson. I went for a test drive and looked at other models. At the time of closing I was impressed with the ease of the transaction. Mr.Anderson answered all my questions and did not force or pressure me to purchase the high end maintaince packages. However, I was not as pleased with the Finance Manager, I left thinking he pushed me into an extended warranty that I didn't need or want. All that being said, I would buy another car from Lee.

I met Lee last November 2010 when my car was in for service. We discussed the new 2011 Santa Fe and I told him I would probably purchase a new car in late 2011. The new car bug was too great and I decided to trade in my 2004 Santa Fe for a new 2011 Santa Fe.Lee made this a very pleasant experience and I now have my nice, new Santa Fe! We have lived in the Daytona Beach Area for 33 years and have always been a two car family. During that time we purchased 15 new vehicles. What should have been a pleasant experience was always extremely stressful. We always left the dealership with migraine headaches from all the "negotiating", double and triple teaming and high pressure tactics.After doing a lot of research on all manufacturers and numerous 2011 models, we decided to purchase a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited, Turbo. (Our first Hyundai) After having a very unfriendly experience with an employee in the service department of the Hyundai Dealership in Daytona Beach, when we took our daughter's vehicle in for repair work, we decided to drive across Volusia County to David Maus Hyundai in DeLand.We have never entered a dealership in Florida and been treated like "family", until now. Lee Richardson made us feel like we had been lifelong friends. Lee was by far the best car salesperson we have ever dealt with in Florida. He was very mild mannered, extremely patient and answered our numerous questions. He explained all the features on the Sonata, sometimes more than once, as we are somewhat technology challenged. Negotiations regarding our trade-in and purchase price were simple and straightforward. There was absolutely no high pressure during this process. Since it was now later than the dealership's normal closing hours, we decided to wait until the next afternoon to take delivery of our new Sonata. Lee came to work on his day off to help us with the delivery and set up the Blue-tooth for our cell phones. Even though it was Lee's day off, he was very patient, answered additional questions and made us feel comfortable in the operation of the Sonata before we left the dealership. Lee certainly lived up to the David Maus motto of "Whatever it takes".Lee has called us twice in the first ten days, since we took delivery of the car, to see if we had any more questions or concerns. Lee is an outstanding representative of David Maus Hyundai. If we had any lingering concerns about dealing with car salesmen, they were completely erased thanks to Lee Richardson. He made our buying experience a very happy occasion, not the nightmares we endured buying from other dealerships in The Greater Daytona Beach/New Smyrna Beach Area during the last 33 years. We will definitely buy from David Maus and Lee again. We have already recommended Lee to two of our friends who are considering purchasing new vehicles. Keep up the outstanding work Lee!! I paid for a service called "zaktek" where they are supposed to detail the vehicle every six months. I have been twice so far and it has been pathetic both times. I called to try and have David Maus represent himself properly to no avial. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle from him or his dealerships. If you are interested in any vehicles he sales, I would strongly recommend visiting another dealership.

The new car purchasing experience was second to none that I have ever experienced. Jake spent all the time needed to be sure I was purchasing the right car for me and that it would suite my needs. There was never any pressure from Jake or any of the staff. When I took delivery of my new car again Jake took all the time needed to be sure I was comfortable with the proper use of all the accessories. Only one other time in my wife and my car buying experience have we recieved the fair and friendly service that we recieved from Lee. The only other time was with car buying through our credit union, with the help of an agent who took our spefications and went and found a few vechicles for us to test drive at the credit union. This experience was a close second. We have owned 6 or 7 vehicles between us and never have we had a salesperson acted so professionally, they also acted without attitude when dealing with my wife's special requests, which can seem picky and petty, but is important to her to help her make her decissions. I would recommend anyone to speak to Lee, if they would like a friendly and fair salesperson in the car industry.

Having been completely satisfied with the first sale, I gave David Maus the opportunity to earn my business this time around. They did not disappoint!! I had a wonderful experience from the minute I was greeted by your salesman. He was polite, helpful and did not overpush. He listened to what I was saying and helped me find the car that was right for me. He then got all the information on the cars safety, gas mileage, etc. He explained about the corporate warranty and then about your dealership going beyond that. I bought my car and would definitely send others. The experience was great. The others who helped also were courteous and explained every aspect of the transaction including Casey at the desk with the information pamphlets and Gary when it came to the financial end. In years past when purchasing a car I felt that people overstepped their boundaries and made me feel uncomfortable. Pushed me until I just walked away, but this experience has changed my opinion of car dealerships and the salesmen you employ.

My husband and myself have had several bad experience with other dealers in the past. When we arrived at the Hyundai dealership I was greeted with smiles. Jake introduce himself and welcomed us and asked what type of vehicle we were looking for. Jake listened to us and stayed focus on what both of us were saying (often as a women the sales person focuses on male and ignores the female). Jake did show us a car which was white and did immediately took us to look at other cars once we had expressed our dislike for the white color. Jake stated that David Maus motto was "What ever it takes" and if we could not make a deal we would shake hands and walk away, what a refreshing approach after experiencing complete "Stress" when shopping for a new vehicle.My husband is currently battling cancer and Jake and all of the other were respectful and made sure that he was comfortable.I could go on and on about what a wonderful experience it was up front, honest, truthful and respectful negotiation what more could a customer ask for.I would recommend Hyundai with complete confidence that family and friends would experience the same pleasant experience when they purchase a new or used vehicles.I was also impressed that when we visited David Maus Hyundai there wasn't anybody there on a Monday there was no hassle when I asked if the program of the door locking system could be changed. The tech immediately took care of us it was not a two hour wait that we had experienced in the past. Hyundai may be the new kid on the block in car sales but in my opinion you are kicking butt in customer service. Comfort and quiet luxuries built into my car is outstanding.The warranty 5 year just totally "Rocks"

I bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and the service and overall exprience of this dealership was wonderful. Hadi, my salesperson, was very helpful and informative. I was not pressured at all and they had the best prices in the Central Florida area. Their service department is so friendly and pleasing to deal with. I was looking at the Toyota Camry, but buck for buck David Maus Hyundai gives more options, upgrades, and warranties, than Toyota. Even if I would have bought a top of the line Camry, it wouldn't have all the extras/warranties I got at Hyundai. Thank you, Hadi for a wonderful experience.

Great experience for my first new car from David Maus Hyundai. Lee was very helpful and understanding of all the questions asked. Even with it being around 30-40 minutes after closing time when everything was taken care of the whole staff was great. The price was also the lowest around the Orlando area. This is my second purchase with David Maus Hyundai in DeLand. I traded in my Genesis Coupe and Elantra for a 2011 Sonota. Hadi Hashemi was my salesman and I, or course, had called ahead of time to make sure that he would be working that day. He was my salesman when I made my first purchase in September 2010. He worked with me for a couple of days...., I'm not a very easy customer, although my husband describes me as the "salesman's dream." Last week I had been thinking about trading my Elantra and keeping my Genesis, as we no longer needed 4 cars/trucks. I stopped in and talked with Hadi and he was able to give me some options. I decided not to keep the coup, even though it is sooo much fun to drive. So, I had two cars to trade. I purchased the 2011 Sonata Limited and, to me, it's very sporty and fun to drive. I am very pleased with my purchase. I attempted to write to your dealership through this link when I first bought the two cars in Sept., but was not able to reach this page. So, I'm sorry to say that I never submitted this questionaire in September 2010. If I had I would have given Hadi"high marks." He is always easy to contact, returns phone calls quickly and is a very nice person to work with. I have recommended him to many of my friends; mentioned his name to my neighbor and they had purchased a 2010 Sonata just a few days before I purchased my two cars in Sept. 2010. He was also their salesman and they had the same good things to say about him , as I. So,I hope my two separate purchases, one in Sept 2010 and one on Jan 2, 2011 "counts" as two "good merits" for Hadi because he deserves them. P.S. Your service dept.is great! Your staff is extremely courteous. Prior to Going to David Maus, I had gone to Bob Dance where high pressure and browbeating are normal. Salesmen were not knowledgeable and could not have intelligent conversation about their products. They also had inflated prices with sucker sticker add-on on their vehicles. Also went to Orlando where we were left outside by salesman who did not come back. We left there after 30 min. We then went to David Maus where Hadi met us in the lot and was very knowledgeable about their products. He found the vehicle we were looking for and we made a good deal. They had the vehicle brought to the dealership the next day. It was cleaned and fueled up prior to our arrival. Paperwork took longer than expected 2hrs out the door on cash sale. Overall happy with new 2011 Santa Fe v6 SE. Vehicle has lots of room and drives nice. Best no pressure dealer so far. Recommend dealer and Hadi as salesman. I would buy from dealer again. If you go to this dealer find Hadi and tell him Harris sent you. Only question unanswered was if e85 or Ethanol gas voids any warrantees.

What a positive experience we had at David Maus Hyundai in Deland. We had been to the dealership several months before and had driven several models. There was no pressure to purchase a car, the sales staff was there to help us learn more about the Hyundai. After doing research, and reading about the Hyundai, we decided to purchase a Vera Cruz. I have bought quite a few cars in my life. David Maus Hyundai was by far the easiest new car buying experience I have had. Lee was straight-forward with the price of the vehicle and the amount they were offering for my trade. I didn't feel that I was being taken advantage of. They gave us exactly what we were expecting to get for our trade. We were only there for 3 hours (which isn't a lot of time when buying a car). We had our 15 month old son with us and everyone was understanding and tried to hurry things along. They knew that we wanted to be within a certain price range for our monthly payment and they worked very well around making that happen. Then they surprised me with 0% financing when I wasn't even aware that was an option. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Hyundai.

My experience with the dealership was very positive. My spouse and I searched for 2 month looking for the "right" vehicle. We knew we wanted a Santa Fe just not where we would find what we were looking for at a price we could afford. We went to Jenkins Hyundai,Daytona Hyundai and David Maus Hyundai. We also emails two other dealerships. We made two visits to David Maus. After going to the dealerships althought we had not decided which Santa Fe we wanted, my husband and I did agree without question, that IF we bought a new Santa Fe it would be from David Maus Hyundai in Deland. We found everyone friendly and excited about answering all our questions and helping us make the right choice for "us". We had not bought or even looked at new cars since 1993. We found the show room, service department and offices very clean, bright and pleasant. We actually worked with the entire team at Deland but we truly enjoyed working with W. Lee Richardson and Dennis. Lee was such a delight to talk with regarding all our concerns. Lee was patient, polite and very kind to people who really needed alot of help getting all their questions answered and provided the confidence that we could put our faith in the David Maus Hyundai team. We left as friends not people leaving a dealership. I hope that the service we receive over the years will be as rewarding as buying our new Santa Fe. I knew I was going to purchase a Hyundai Sonata after performing all my research including visiting a few dealerships and attending the auto-show. The question was were from. I met with Lee at David Maus. I was not planning on going there due to the corny commercials and the distance from my house but had nothing to do on a Saturday morning and took the drive. Lee greeted me in the parking lot and made me feel right at home even though I was from Boston and he was from NY. He and Dennis the Manager gave me a few options and what I felt was a fair price for my trade (unseen). I was planning on waiting until the end of the year to purchase a car. I was not pressured and went home to decide. At that point realizing that I had nothing to gain from waiting and knowing that I was getting a fair deal I decided to purchase from Lee. I think I must have received at least one call or text message from Lee until the car was available to be picked up. What made my decision easy was Lee and the DMD (David Maus Difference) Window tinting, 24 month maintenance. I do not feel as though I was forgotten after the sale as well. When I went back in to have some accessories added I was given great treatment from the Service Department. I would highly recommend Lee and David Maus Hyundai to anyone!

We traveled from St. Cloud to purchase our new 'o9 Santa Fe and it was well worth the drive! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We felt like we were the only customers there (although I did see several others) vehicles that we mentioned we would like to look at were brought up front and waiting for us when we came back from our test drive, the doors were open so that we could just go from one to another to help make our decision. When I told my husband that we were driving to Deland to look for a vehicle he looked at me like I had a third head but, on the way home in our new vehicle he commented that it was worth the drive (69 miles one way) and he would do it again. This is the second vehicle we've purchased from David Maus, the other was at the Toyota dealership and both experiences have been extremely pleasant. I have referred other people to the dealership and would not hesitate to continue. I hate that the dealership is so far away because I feel like we made friends last night and it's not really close to just go visit them! The other thing that impressed me is the way the dealerships work together! We get two years of free oil changes and free car washes and they said that since the dealerships work together we can go to any David Maus service center to have them done. So, we can go somewhere closer like the VW dealership in south Orlando. Wow! What an unexpected surprise!!! Thank you for taking the time to hire such friendly professional employees!

I first researched the vehicle and then obtained an internet price before I went into the dealership. Then once I went into to test drive the vehicle all the way through the sales process it was simple and easy. No high pressure sales and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Everyone gave us the best welcome that I had received at any of the Dealerships that we visited while shoping for a car. Lee was very professional and had a great personality. My daughter did not interact with other salesman we talked to. But Lee got her talking about what she was looking for and what she could afford. The other people in the dealership also were most helpful. Everyone made the experiance the best we ever had.

My Fiance and I were looking for a car for about 3 months, but nothing good came up. I was interested in a Hyundai accent. by the time we went to Deland we were ready to give up. David Maus Hyundai's team was terrific. Kurt showed us the variety of cars from were to choose, and the best for our budget. once i saw the Accent i fell in love, i dont know much about cars but my fiance who knows enough about them was happy and complete crazy about the engine. Angela was more than friendly, with the finance. she help us get a good warranty and explained all the facts to us. I will reccommend anyone who wants a good car, into the budget to come to David Maus Hyundai. believe me the trip was worth it. THEY HAVE AN AMAZYNG TEAM, YOU WILL FEEL LIKE HOME.

Walter Richardson and David Maus Hyundai helped me help my mother purchase a new car. My mother deferred all the details of the transaction (except color!)to me. I live in Maryland, my mother had a NY license and plates and had to get a FL license and tags. It was a complex affair! Mr. Richardson and David Maus Hyundai were fantastic throughout. They were attentive to the many details of this transaction in a timely and proactive manner. They were very fair about price they gave us on the trade in and gave a super deal on the price of her new Sonata.

Lee was awesome.. as soon as we pulled into the dealership he greeted us with a very welcoming smile and was very informative on the car we were looking at.... gave us the tour of the shop and explained everything in full detail... great experience working with Lee made me feel as if he could stay with in my budget and he definetly did that.. had gone somewhere to look at car the day before and felt like i had not very many options on trading the vehicle i had because i was upside down a little.. pretty much told me i had no other option than to have a $500 car payment and that was with putting money down. had a wonderful experience with your company. thanks for everything.... mrs. singletary

Lee Richardson is a phenomenal car salesmen. His professionalism should be revered by others. We actually purchased a Ford previously from Lee and when Lee joined the David Maus family we received a letter telling about his relocation. We had previously owned five Hyundais with one purchased from David Maus. We were not really looking for a nee car but after receiving Lee's letter we had to stop by to say hello. Needless to say we left with a new Sonata that now cut our monthly payment and insurance helping us with our budget goals. Additionally, the rest of the staff including Steve in service are always very pleasant and customer service oriented. The store is immaculately clean. We would recommend this dealer to all!!!

My husband and I visited the Davis Maus Hundai dealership in Deland to get our prize, as we ahd received a postcard in the mail.to our delight, after many hours at the dealership with Lee Richardson, sales person, and darrel the manager, we had purchased a RED Sonata, with every bell and whistle one can imagine. with our trade-in, we received a very good and fair deal. As an 88 yr old widowed woman, I was not wanting to feel pressured or taken advantaged. I felt with my request that to trade in my 2008 sentra, there will be no more money coming out of my pocket. My husband, Lee Dargue, and I visited David Maus Hyundia with the intension of test driving several 2010 vehicles so we could compare makes and models on our trek to other dealerships. Ultimately, our intension was to buy a new car. Lee met us at our car, introduced himself, and asked why we had stopped by. I told Lee that I was looking for safety, comfort, and easy in/out and wanted to drive a Santa Fe and an Azera. After sitting in both vehicles, I realized they were not at the comfort level I had hoped to find. Lee directed me enthusiastically to a Sonata Limited. The test drive went well, but was not as comfortable as I needed following spinal reconstruction surgery. Also, the price was a bit over our price range. Darrell entered the picture, and along with Lee, suggested I try a warranted 2009 Sonata Limited because the seats in the 2009 were more comfortable and the price was in our range. Following a test drive, we decided to purchase this vehicle. Gary Thunberg went over the warranty information with us. He was very helpful, answered our questions and even gave us a snack from the "stash" in his desk. Seven hours before, Lee had provided sodas and some bread that a client of his had baked for him! While shopping for a new car I stopped by David Maus Hyundai and was impressed by the knowledge, courtesy, and the patience Lee Richardson my salesman. He explained the selection, models, options, and warranty available on each vehicle. With his knowledge and assistance I was able to find just the right car for my needs. I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonada with navigation system, adjustable seat with lumbar support, Bluetooth, Ipod hook up, MP3 CD player, and much more. A fantastic automobile with the best warranty available was what I wanted and exactly the car I own at a great price. The lack of anything other then helpful assistance, product knowledge, and ease of the whole buying process makes buying a new vehicle from David Maus an enjoyable experience. I'm 65 years old and have bought more then a few new cars in my time, I can honestly say this has been the most enjoyable, easy buying experience I've ever had at any dealership. You can't go wrong buying from David Maus and the dealership was equipped with modern equipment and an exceptionally clean maintenance department that was fully air conditioned. Yes, you even get the grand tour if you want it, well worth the time to know knowledgeable staff and mechanics will be taking care of your new car.

The service I received at this dealership was fantastic. The associate Jame was great and very patient. I went in desperate and unsure as to what i wanted. He made me feel relaxed and confident that i was going to leave with a car that I would love and enjoy driving. He indeed came thru for me. It took me some time to be convince that i deserve to treat myself a little better than what I had in mind. My husband and I went into the dealership knowing we wanted a Hyundai but I thought I wanted a Sante Fe but ended up with a gorgeous 2011 Sonata, blueish/gray color and I am so excited. This is my first new car so I am happy it went so smoothly. Everyone there worked with us and were extremely nice. We gave them a price range and they did everything they needed to keep it there so I hope more people go get their car there and ask for Jason Acker!

I was looking to upgrade from my Suzuki Grand Vitara and always wanted to get back into a Santafe,which I have had previously. I visited David Maus Hyundai in Deland and I had such a pleasent experience.Less was my sales person and he was very perfessional and pleasent. I muust say this was the first time I was never pressured or had to go back anf forth on price. I told Lee what I was willing to pay and he and Dennis who was the sales manager did everything they could to get me that price. I was in need of getting a new car since my old car was overheating and no longer reliable. I called David Maus Hyundai and spoke to Mr. Acker. He was very helpful and did a lot of work before I arrived. Once there, he made the process very smooth and the other employees were equally helpful. There was no pressure and I felt they acted professionally. I was in a rush to make a tennis match and I drove out with my new car a short time later and, yes, I won the match. Overall, I had a very positive experience and I got the impression they truly cared. I would highly recommend the dealership to my friends.

We traded our Milan for the 2011 Sonata SE. It was the best thing we did. The Sonata is so superior to the Milan and we wish to say, it is the best vehicle we've owned. It is so quiet when driving and it holds the road so well. We constantly tell people we have all the benefits of a Hybrid but we didn't pay the price of a Hybrid. We get approximately 44 miles/gallon highway and 35 miles/gallon in town. The service we receive if unbelievable. Everyone at the agency is so helpful. They make your visit pleasant. I guess the ads on TV are correct when they say: "We aim to please". If you're thinking of a new care -- go no further -- the SONATA is it!!!!
