I have been joking that the metallic sky blue Prius "found me" but my selection specialist Matthew definitely helped! The moment I drove in the lot, he noticed and met me with a cheerful "Good Morning". Within minutes he knew which car to show me, and we headed out on U.S. 1 in my soon-to-be-purchased 2014 Prius V. He was chatty and relaxed, and very informative. I did test drive one Honda Fit -- why I was at the Honda dealership in the first place -- but the Prius had stolen my heart. Great salesmanship and Ryan in financing was also extremely friendly and helpful. They made a very gregarious and skilled team. Overall an enjoyable experience, and I love my Prius already.

My daughter, her husband and two babies went to look for a used car and experienced the worst experience of their lives. They were asked to return the day after they "purchased" and signed a contract for a used car. The used car manager was disrespectful and demeaning. He was talking down to my son in law who was seated at a desk and the manager and finance person where both standing over him. The Manager had the nerve to ask my son what did he do with the 1000.00 he had the day before. He refused to give him back the contract, which he should have ripped up in front of him.The manger then ripped of the temporary tag and never once did he apologize for his behavior. He then allowed them to walk away with two babies and the car seats.I work in a customer service industry and I have never in my life heard or experienced such ignorance and disrespect. I will make sure that everyone knows about his experience.

We recently purchased a 2016 Honda CRV Ex from Coggin Honda of St. Augustine. This is our 6th Honda since we purchased our first vehicle. Prior to the purchase we checked the SUV inventory on the dealer's website, and submitted a request to view the cars. Mr. Coulter, one of the sales representatives contacted me immediately to set up an appointment. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the CRV; and he took his time to show us various models and options, as well as do a test drive. He was able to negotiate a good price for us which included various incentives. Our vehicle was delivered in pristine condition the next day, and we did another test drive before making final payment. All employees involved in the purchasing process were courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend going to the Coggin Honda dealership to view and purchase a vehicle. Thank you for a great experience.

My wife and I were returning from vacation when my car would not start. There was no Acura dealer in St Augustine so I had it towed to Goggin Honda in hopes they could help. My car would start, but would immediately shut off. RJ, Bong, Jeff and Debbie went to work on the car and more importantly took care of us. They offered us snacks, coffee and water at no charge and even had a driver drop us off at a local restraint for lunch.When the problem could not be resolved that day they gave us a loaner car and directions to a local motel. RJ was terrific and the next day Bong and Jeff finally figured out that two wires were shorting in the read view mirror and was causing the car to shut off. The electronics in our cars now are all connected in a single panel and when one goes it takes the others on that circuit. While they figured out the problem Debbie took care of our needs and kept us informed.My hat is off to these individuals as they are professional, friendly and were concerned about my wife and me, as well as our car. I am very impressed with the staff and recommend them highly.

Matt was really helpful when I was searching for a car. He asked me what I was looking for specifically and was able to find exactly what I was looking for in terms of AWD, roof racks and model. He explained the benefit of picking a certified pre-owned car versus a used car and was able to talk me through the whole car buying experience (which can be tedious and lengthy). The car didn't have roof racks initially, but Matt was able to put them on just in time for me to drive across the country and start my new job. Bonus: he put cute turtle stickers on the back of my car! He really went above and beyond what I would expect and I really appreciated it. I highly recommend Matt if you need to get a car.

After visiting other dealers who barely knew the product they were selling and only cared about closing the deal, it was very refreshing to meet Matt Coulter at Coggin Honda. Not only did he know a great deal about the cars he was selling, but he was passionate about them and it showed! He was also very courteous and did not pressure me when I decided not to buy that day even though he spent over an hour of his time with me. After returning home to Orlando, I went out to look at Hondas again and was so dissatisfied with the dealership that I drove all the way back to St. Augustine to buy my car from Matt.

We walked into Coggin Honda of St Augustine after speaking with Matt the day before about a car on the lot. From the moment we met him, we just clicked with him. He was super personable and genuine, not the usual pushy car salesman you usuall run into. We told him everything we were looking for in our next vehicle and he did everything to find it. We left empty handed the first day, but over the course of the next few weeks, Matt would call to let us know about new inventory that had come in, and to check in with us and our wish list. After a month long search, Matt and Augustine got us into our dream car and we couldn't be more thrilled! I had been searching for a car for several months, both online and literally visiting several dealerships. My experiences had not been great for the simple reason that most of the salespeople were at my door before I was even able to step out of my car. So I am immediately feeling the pressure and I don't want to buy a car from any of these salespeople. Then I visited Coggin Honda of St. Augustine. I was able to get out of my car walk around for a while without being hassled. After a short time a salesman named Nich Klimchak approached me. To my surprise, he simply introduced himself, asked if he could be of assistance in getting access to any particular vehicle that I might want to look at. He then went into his office picked up a few keys and let me check out the car I was interested in. The amazing thing was he didn't even ask for my name so I was feeling no pressure whatsoever. Upon leaving, Nick handed me his business card, we shook hands I thanked him and left the dealership knowing that if I was going to make a purchase , Nick Klimchak was the one that I would be buying my car from. And so as of a week ago Nick sold me my new Honda Accord, thank you Nick! I will recommend Coggin Honda of St Augustine to everyone I know.

We were visiting in the St Augustine area in April and just driving around one day, decided to stop in and look over some SUV'S. What a pleasure to walk in the door, have a smiling face greet you and none of that competitiveness of who's going to get the first jump on you. Well, we met Matt Coulter and a few hours later he had worked up a good deal for our pre-owned Honda CRV. Matt is a professional who listens to the customer, pays attention, and just genuinely cares about what your needs in a vehicle are, without the pressure of 'let's get it done now'. He gave us plenty of time to decide on the car that fit us and our budget. .Yes we plan on visiting when we are in the area... The only downside: the financial department needs some work, they make numerous mistakes dealing with All the paper work; especially from out of state.Thank You Matt for all the follow up calls just to keep en touch. James Paul was very helpful throughout the entire sales process. He responded quickly to any questions we had after leaving the dealership the day of our test drive. My husband and I bought a used civic from Dan Scheu, who was absolutely wonderful in helping us trade in a vehicle and setting us up with a car we could afford that was. Safe and reliable. Dan was genuinely a good person who was looking out for our best interest as he would for one of his family members. The car had been running fine until six months in when the airbag light came on. We were helped by Angela in the service center who bent over backwards and worked so hard to help us when the airbags were malfunctioning and only one was under factory recall. She worked magic to take care of us and Honda absorbed over 1000 dollars to repair BOTH airbags thanks to her. For a grad student who could never have afforded the cost, she took care of us to give us back the safe and reliable vehicle we had purchased. Obviously I can't say that she will be able to guarantee such drastic measures for everyone, but she will absolutely fight for your best interest without question! These two individuals cannot receive enough praise from my husband and me and we cannot thank Coggin Honda of St Augustine enough for taking care of us. Highly recommended.

I needed a new transmission in my 04 Honda Accord, spoke with Melissa Manfredi and she was so nice and polite and knowledgable about anything I would ask her. I have a 10 yr old Honda. I count on Chhivon, service rep, to help me schedule what maintenance is needed and to prioritize projects balancing my budget with car operation & safety. Chhivon educates me on car topics and never pressures me. Last month I visited 5 different car stores to shop for a set of 4 new tires. Four others stores gave me high pressure & scare tactics. Chhivon helped me figure out the right tires and located a rebate too. Got the tires at Honda.Back this month for routine oil change. This is a nice, clean place and I can get work done. Then presto, car is ready.

After looking at the same cars on the lot over and over, the perfect vehicle came and I purchased it the next day! I bought my 2005 Honda Accord V6 loaded with navigational system from Coggins Honda of st.augustine Florida in 2006. These people are customer-oriented extremely helpful and friendly. They want customer satisfaction. I live in Alabama and drove to Coggins to buy my vehicle. I am now selling my vehicle to my daughter who lives in Pennsylvania. I called Coggins Honda of st. Augustine and spoke with Mike Bowman. I needed information about undercoating for my car to go to Pennsylvania because of the ice snow salt and Brine they put on the roads in winter. He formerly lived in Pennsylvania and was well aware of the road conditions in the winter he was able to advise me and recommended a dealership in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. He answered all my questions if he didn't know he would look it up and call me back which he did. I am extremely pleased with the way he handled my phone call by answering all my questions recommending who to use in Pennsylvania getting me phone numbers. He was extremely helpful he went out of his way to make sure that I had all my questions answered. I would definitely recommend Coggins Honda of st. Spent yesterday afternoon checking out the new 2016 Honda civic. Got our first Civic at this dealership in Dec of 2013. Fell in love with the car. Had a good experience at the dealership so returned to get a new Civic. Every one was friendly. Our sales rep, Chip Davis, answered all my many questions and there were lots of them. Once the deal was done he programmed my blue tooth and even looked up how to turn a CD into a zip drive and sent me the link for a video on the subject. Couldn't have been more helpful. I went here with the intention to buy a specific car that I had been looking at online for weeks. The online price was completely different at the store, and then they claimed to be trying to work with us but literally printed out a sheet of paper that added up to the same exact sticker price on the car, way above msrp. So we left and I ended up buying an accord touring fully loaded at another dealership for the same price that they were trying to sell me a CRV. Honestly if you're looking for a deal the finance people just want to screw you ... So please if you go here pay very careful attention to all the prices the one on the sicker everything, because they will try to play you so just be aware and observant.

I still can't believe that I have my dream car! I've been online looking and pricing you know, just browsing through sites until I ran across this 2012 Nissan Altima , Metallic gray ??I sent an email (mind you it's 10pm on a Saturday night ..) I just wanted info on the car.. Mike emailed me back within 10 minutes with more info and pics on the car .I also had a phone call first thing that Sunday morning. Although I had to work that a.m. He sent me the app, ran my credit , And negotiated with me on the phone, and when I wasn't satisfied with the price... He exhausted all he could to get me what I wanted! I got off at 3pm and by 5pm that Sunday night I was the proud owner of that beautiful car!! I love mike because he's not just a car salesman who sold me my beauty he's a man that cared about my predicament , he also has a son whom he spoke of often , that showed me that he empathized with me , and understood that I am a single mother on a tight budget and I needed something reliable and cute of course lol Every one was very friendly I didn't feel uncomfortable at all! This was the 3rd car lot I've been to in 3 days and I have to tell you they had the best hospitality I've ever experienced . Hello, my name is Jonathan Delconte, I'm 20 years old and living far away from home for college.Recently I scraped together enough money to buy a car from Coggin Honda in Saint Augustine. I made the mistake of buying this car "As Is". The day after purchasing this car, the service engine light came on. And then shortly after the service engine light came on, the front bumper fell off while it was parked. I brought it in to be serviced by them. I was assured that my car was in okay condition when I bought it, and when I brought it in to be serviced. Then after the problems with my car continued, Coggin Honda told me to bring it to Audi, (The car was an Audi) so they could fix it. They told me that they would cover ALL of the costs. I brought it to Audi, who told me that the car had 2 oil leaks, that had likely been there for a while, (and at this point I had only had the car for a couple weeks). They told me it would be about $1,500 to $2,000 to fix this. Coggin Honda denied ever telling me they would cover anything. I made the mistake of not getting it in writing. After arguing with them over it, they eventually decided they would cover $300 of repairs at the max. Every little bit helps, but that wasn't enough. After having the oil leaks repaired, things were okay for a few days. Thankfully I had a way to get to my college classes. Now, my transmission is completely fried. I have to bring it to Audi to fix, which costs about $4,000. I paid $6,000 for this car, and it's already around $8,000 just to get it working properly. My point, I feel I've been defrauded.I was assured that I was buying a car, but in reality I purchased a pile of metal parts that don't work.

We had our Odyssey in for service and while we waited, we test drove a 2015 CRV. The salesman, Nick, was extremely helpful with not a hint of sales pressure. Because of that, we were willing to spend time actually learning about the car, what it would cost to purchase or lease, and examine the various options and colors. Although we'd planned to "just look", our experience with Nick was so positive that we ended up making a trade and a purchase. He worked with us to get the best deal he could so we're really happy with the outcome. We're from a completely different generation from Nick's, but he's definitely the type of person we want to deal with in a business or friendship situation. AND we love the CRV!

I received a safety recall notice from Honda which directed me to contact my local Honda dealer - Coggins of St. Augustine, which is where I bought the car brand new a year ago. After 5 calls to the dealer to attempt to schedule the repairs, I was always told someone would get back to me 'as soon as possible'. Angela Hardie was my service specialist and did an outstanding job to make sure we were well taken care of. We had a complicated issue where we were having an intermittent starting issue that was hard to replicate and the mechanics were having trouble figuring out what exactly the problem was. Angela did a great job putting together a team of 2 master mechanics to work on the project and through interviews and trial and error they were able to figure out the problem was part of a fuel pump rather than a starter. Due to Angela making the extra effort, we were able to successfully get the right problem fixed. The old truck that my son drove became a great Money Pit, so we had to get him another vehicle. We were not planning for this expense, so we needed to keep the price low. We explained to our salesperson Paul P. that we were needing something sale and reliable for our son, but we really couldn't afford much. Paul and the staff at Coggin Honda in St. Augustine worked to get us exactly what we needed, even pulling out a recent trade-in for us to see before it had been detailed because Paul thought that it would be the perfect car for our needs. He was absolutely right! This pre-owned Honda Accord was exactly what we needed. In addition to the extreme politeness and courtesy that Paul and the entire staff displayed to my wife and myself, I really appreciated the total respect that we were given. I know that this was probably the least expensive vehicle that they had sold all week (or month), but they treated us as though we were buying a $50,000 car. And, because of that, when I go to buy my next car I will go back to see Paul and the team at Coggin Honda in St. Augustine. I have a ton of car dealerships that are closer to my house, but this is one that I really trust ... and that is very important to me. I have to say my husband and I were very leery about the purchase of a used car for our teen. We wanted a long lasting, safe and dependable vehicle...and decided on a Honda. We found something online that looked perfect so I entered my cell phone in as a contact and I was fortunate enough to be connected with James Paul in the Pre Owned Department! He was so helpful. James took pics of the car with his cell phone and sent them to me so that if I had any reservations he could save me a trip to the lot. Upon arrival James met me and answered any and all questions. My service representative Angela was great: friendly, courteous, took time to listen and explain, very customer-service oriented. The service waiting area had plenty of comfortable seating with complimentary snacks and coffee. Tires were mounted & balanced and alignment completed the same time Angela indicated beforehand how long it would likely take to complete. Hi to everyone at Coggin, I would hereby like to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Coggin Honda of St. Augustine and especially Matt Coulter for making my recent used vehicle purchase by far the best one I have ever had. We rather dreaded the thought of having to search for and most likely not find a truly good used car. Initially we were interested in a used, but very nice sporty Saturn that Coggin had just received as a trade in, but upon further and detailed inspection Matt advised us not to purchase it. As it turns out it apparently had a head gasket leak. Wow. (Now there is someone who is honest and trustworthy and who has completely restored my faith in the car business.) It gets even better... Then Matt presented us with a beautiful, used but like new, Saturn SUV that upon inspection had no major issues. It looks, smells and handles great, and at a such a wonderfully low price. He gave us an awesome deal! Wow. And it didn't stop there.. It really blew us away when we were told that the front brakes and rotors were fixed/ replaced, just for us. Wow again! As if we didn't already then feel that Matt is awesome and that the SUV is great, he then had the SUV detailed inside and out, and so my new (barely used, it seems) SUV has been a real joy to drive home. Everyday I find myself looking for excuses just to keep driving it, haha.Thank you so much for everything Matt. Hesitation turned out to be using my left foot on the brake and right foot on gas at same time. This caused a momentary stalling. The the mechanic noted my driving habit and helped me correct it I had knee replacement surgery 7 weeks ago and the two feet method relived the pain of lifting the right foot from the gas pedal to the brake pedal.

We weren't forced into anything we didn't want. Our sales rep James Paul was very polite, patient and made us feel right at home. If I could give this place a ten I would! We bought a 2012 prius in a very hectic time for us. I was very clear that I wanted another Prius as I had two of them both with over 300000 miles on them when I got rid of them. I had not thought about a station wagon and was going to get the hatchback but when I was buying an FJ and it had not come from the other dealership at that time; Ryan the sales person gave us this one to drive and we ended up liking it a lot and bought it. I was in the market for a Honda Accord Sport and when I went to the dealer ship I was met by Ryan Hurewitz as he was walking out the door heading home for the night. I was in St Aug on vacation when the door stopped working on my minivan. I was nervous about spending a lot of money while out of town since it would be tough to do a return visit to deal with any lingering post repair issues. So I communicated by issue and my concern to Angela. She put a max spend limit on the ticket and then talked me through my options on the work being done. when I had trouble producing proof of insurance, she handed me her personal cell phone to call my insurer. It was a busy day at the service desk lobby but she didn't forget me. She arranged a (paid) loaner car, kept me appraised of the progress on the repair, and simply went above the call of duty in providing excellent customer service.The dealership provided a quality repair job under budget and even threw in some gratis repairs. I was blown away by the whole experience.

I had my 2013 Honda Fit for car service on a Saturday when my cousin told me about Memorial Day promotions on all the new 2015 cars. In a flash, I thought about trading in my 2 yr. old fit with the new model. It was a great experience when I bought the FJ Toyota cruiser from the sales person - Ryan Hurewitz. MY dream car was the FJ Toyota cruiser and I was on my way on a mon eve after work to buy one at another dealership, I had looked at but it was tan and I wasn't thrilled about the color and he was able to locate a blue one with less mileage and get it transferred from Tampa to ST Augustine and arranged for me to have a rental while they were Looking and put me in a prius which I was already used to so that was geat. I had driven one since 2001. He was able to get a great trade in for my husbands 94 Toyota Station wagon- we didn't have to argue with Coggin at All re: it so it ended up costing less with the trade in than I would have at the other dealership and I loved the color. He was very patient and kept me apprised daily of the progress with getting it shipped over. He was never pushy and was just really great to deal with as was the manager of Sales- Patrick and the finance personTim. When I came to buy the FJ I was on a time crunch and they all worked very hard to get us out of there on time for our next engagement and we made it just in time. I would go back to Coggin for sure, Also there were some minor mechanical problems with the FJ when I had my mechanic take a look at it and I told them about it and they had me bring it back in and they ordered the parts and fixed it in a timely manner and did not charge me anything. Ryan never told me anything that wasn't true , he always kept his word which was so nice when trying to buy a car. He is a great salesperson and is a great asset to Coggin.

I got a recall notice on my 2005 Pilot and immediately called this Dealership for an appointment. I got a date and time to bring my car in and repairs were made promptly. Estimated time for service was 2hrsand was completed in 1:45hrs, While at this dealership I was treated like a guest. All employees were polite and courteous. Waiting room was clean and comfortable. Snacks, water and coffee was available.If I need repairs or services for my Pilot in the future this is where I will take it. I'm tough old man and I'm hard to please, but this dealership git 5 stars from me for service being completed in a timely manor and the comfortable place to wait in while my car was worked on. A routine service. Angela gave me an appointment time and when I arrived a few minutes early the Service Department was ready to work on my car. As Angela had not arrived for her shift another service representative immediately took charge and checked in my car for service. Throughout the process, I was kept informed of the progress of the service and given an estimate of when the car would be ready. When I received the car after service, it had been cleaned in addition to the service. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience conducted professionally and efficiently. This is one of the most professional Service Departments with which I have dealt.

I took my mom here to find her a "new" used vehicle. I had seen an older Honda Odyssey with low miles online, so we decided to make the ride from Orange Park to St. Augustine to take a look at it. She and my dad are both disabled and on a very limited income, so we needed something affordable, yet dependable. We were greeted by Mike Bowman. We told him what we needed and where we needed the payments to be. He let us know that the vehicle we came to look at wouldn't be able to be financed long enough to get our payments where we needed them (which I already sort of suspected may end up being the case given the van's age). He then said he had a few that he thought would work and went to drive one up. He showed us a 2007 Kia Sedona with just a little over 100K miles. Even though it had not yet been detailed, it was immaculate. It had remote controlled sliding doors and back hatch, which was really beneficial to my mom, since she has had one of her legs amputated and is in a wheelchair. We took it for a test drive and mom loved it. While we were on the test drive, I asked Mike "what is the asking price on this" and he said, I'm not even worried about that, if she likes it, we'll make it work." "Okay," I thought, "we'll see."We got back to the dealership, mom said if we could make it work, she would love it, so off he went to talk to the manager. He came back and said "How's $229 a month sound?" (which was lower than our target price BTW) mom said "Great!" and he said, "Congratulations!" I'll get the paperwork going." Having been a part of a lot of car purchases in my life, and used to the haggling and back and forth, I said, "Wait, that's it!?" and to my surprise, it was. It even included a 1 year warranty, which is very uncommon with used vehicles, without paying an exorbitant price for an extended warranty.All and all we were very pleased with the service we received at Coggin of St. Augustine. I appreciated them not trying to do the "hard sale" and try to get my mom to buy something she couldn't afford and wasting our time. Mike treated us like old friends and I will gladly drive the extra miles to see him for future car purchases. Thanks a million!

Everyone hates to buy a car, often for good reason. If more dealers acted like Coggin Honda in St. Augustine then people's attitudes would change quickly. The experience could not have been more pleasant and painless. My Sales Rep, Ryan Hurewitz, even though a Gator Fan, treated this Dawg Fan with respect and fairness. He was very knowledgeable about every feature of the 2015 Odyssey I purchased. I never felt any pressure or insincerity. I simply told him what I was looking for and he gave me several optionsThe Sales Manager and Finance Manager were the same way. No pressure from anybody. I highly recommend this dealership and Ryan.

I'd been happy with my Audi and my dealership for 5 years. Still was. Good guys. I had agreed to a deal on an Audi A3, including trading in my TT and sent the package to my mechanic. He said " You got a good deal, but go look at the Honda Accord before you sign. Nice clean dealership. It was near the end of the day, but we met Ryan and he never watched the clock. Showed him my Audi deal and said " So, try to sell me a Honda " We drove home in a loaner and now own an Accord. " Most important to me, Ryan patiently showed us all the elements of the car we needed to get on a road trip the next day.Being honest,after Ryan left and we went to financing, I wasn't really impressed with their add on packages "sale": ie interior / exterior protection, prepaid maintenance package, etc. I am a statistician and the numbers didn't mesh and everybody got a little upset as I explained my thoughts, but hey I had the ability to turn them down.Two days later we are at the gym and I try to open an Acura by mistake. Then my wife says that white one over there looks like ours too. It was a BMW. So forget the labels and get a Honda. Tell Ryan Mitch sent you. Haha.

A few months ago I leased a 2015 Honda Civic. I had not taken in to account that the drivers seat did not have electronic controls allowing for adjusting back support. My visit for regular servicing was extremely good. They took me in quickly, no several-days wait. The car was serviced carefully and they washed the outside and vacuumed the inside. First off, I have been a loyal Honda owner since 1990 ( 25 years!) , I have received service beyond reproach time and time again, with Honda dealerships in NY, NJ,vPA, and now 25 years later and retired in Florida, namely Coggin Honda in Saint Augustine!. I recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, nice enough Auto but realized it did not meet my standards and what Honda always puts out and subsequently came to my senses and through Salesman Matthew Coulter of Coggin Honda, he was able to work out my deal and I was able to purchase a 2014 Honda CR-V that is beyond expectations! George Luciano of Finance worked diligently in getting me a terrific rate and the entire team at Coggin treated me royally. Unbeatable price with warm informative sales rep, Tom Bomar who had cars waiting for our inspection and test drive. We did online research beforehand and went in with knowledge of base price and add on costs, a competitive price from other dealer, financing already arranged and decision of no extended or warranties. Tom and management respected our research and negotiated an incredible price in short order. Only caveat - George in financing did an overly aggressive sell on extended warranties. Small price to pay for an incredible deal on a wonderful car. We will definitely buy our next car at Coggin with Tom Bomar as our rep!

I have a 10 year old Honda Odyssey with 160,000 miles on it, so I do expect to need some service. After moving to St. Augustine from the Jacksonville area last year I took my Odyssey to Coggin Honda St. Augustine for service. I have had it there 3 times total in the last year. Twice I took it for an oil change and general check, and once because of a vibration problem that turned out to be a tire problem. Each time that I took it in they came to me with over $1000 in additional repairs that they insisted were needed. Each time I have required shuttle service to take me home until the repair was completed. This last time was the worst. The guy called me to tell me that the service was done and that he would contact the shuttle driver. After 1 hour I called him back, got only his voice mail, he didn't call back. After 45 more minutes I called the general service department number only to be disconnected. After finally reaching them I was told that "my service advisor" would call me back. By the time he called me back all of the shuttle drivers had gone home. He did send the parts guy to pick me up since I told him that I needed my car for work the next day. Since the last time was the only time that I refused most of their expensive suggested repairs, I think he just forgot about me and my small $268 repair. Evidently if I don't spend at least $1000 in service, I am not worth their help. Also, I have never had the same service advisor more than once. I guess they don't stay around long here. The service work itself seems adequate but I have changed my mind about purchasing a Honda CR-V in the future because this is the service department I would be stuck with. I am thinking that I would buy a new vehicle in the next year and the CR-V was on my short list of 3 vehicles to consider. I don't think that I would consider it now no matter what.

So I set an appointment to cone and check it out and see what they say. The whole time I was thinking please God don't let this be fake. Matthew took really good care of me. I told him what I could afford and what I needed. Y'all they even took my car as a trade in and y'all I didn't think that was possible. Matthew Coulter. He was so concerned about me and my daughter after he drove my old car he said I'm on a mission I am not letting in your car it's not safe. He got me into an awesome car we love it. I was "shopping" for a small SUV. I was unsure if I wanted to buy new or preowned, or lease one. My husband and I decided that it was time to get a larger, more spacious vehicle than our FIT. We had purchased a CRV in 2003 (which is still on the road) and the 2009 FIT (during Cash for Clunkers) at the same dealership. We love the service department. And Honda. I looked up Odysseys on line to read about them. In that process I checked a box about contact. The next part is Magic! The salesperson who contacted us had the same last name we have. Mike Bowman. When we met with him my husband and he discussed backgrounds and we are sure they are related. You know like 5 or 6 generations ago. We had a great time with him. Friendly and funny. And very knowledgable about the vehicles. He discuss with us types of vans and what we wanted. We took a drive and talked about all the bells and whistles. We did not like the color -- too dark for Florida sun so he found up a silver one. It is beautiful. After the loan was completed and the van was detailed, Mikey went over more electronics, loaded our cell phone information. He encouraged us to come back with a list of questions about what we did not understand. We will be happy to visit with him again. Mike is a superior salesman and you can tell that he loves his job. This was absolutely the most wonderful experience we will ever have buying a car. And we have a new relative and friend.

My husband and I came pre-approved, laid out what we wanted in a car, how we wanted to be treated and they listened intently and brought us in a car from the Ft Pierce location, and it was "the one". When it came down to the financial aspect, I had let them know up front what we were willing to do, and they in turn were just as frank which did not require a bunch of back in forth. Had purchased from Coggin Honda in the past and had been very satisfied with the dealership, sales person and service. This time I knew the car I wanted and contacted Daniel Peel to start the process. I sent him all the info so that when I got to the dealership, we were all set to sign papers and get the car. Daniel had the car ready to go when I arrived. Unfortunately, at the last minute I decided to finance a small amount of the purchase price for a short period of time. This is where the hangup occurred. Everything was ready to go, i.e. car gassed, washed, etc. but I had to wait 45 minutes for the paperwork to be printed & signed because they only had two finance people and it was a busy Saturday afternoon. This was exactly what I was trying to avoid. Outside of that glitch, which I recognize was due to my change to do some financing, I have no issues with Coggin, Daniel & I love their Service Department. I could suggest they hire an additional finance person on exceptionally busy days. I will also tell you that I had contacted another dealership who actually came in with a lower price on the car but because they were very aggressive, didn't have the car in stock, and the quote didn't contain all what I considered pertinent information i.e. car model, details included in the price, I decided to pay more and stay with Coggin & Daniel.

I aksed the salesman, Ryan Hurewitz, to look out for a Chevy Trailblazer or GMC Envoy. In 5 minutes he responded in email with one at a sister dealer in Ft. Pierce. I told him I would let him know. In the meantime I looked online all over Florida but could not beat the price and condition of his. He had it transported from Ft. Pierce to St. Augustine where I inspected it and bought it. I actually live and came from Gainesvile where this salesman sold me another car 2 years ago. If you want first class customer service go see Ryan. Of course he will find you the right car for you.

From start to finish, our vehicle buying experience with Ryan Hurewitz was outstanding; I contacted Mr. Hurewitz about 7:30 in the morning on Saturday, and within an hour, before the dealership's opening time, he was at the dealership waiting to meet with myself, my 1 year old daughter, and my 15 year old son. When we arrived, Mr. Hurewitz was waiting for us. Delightfully, we also got to meet his 8 year old daughter, who helped affirm to us that Mr. Hurewitz shares the same family values as we do, a point that helped make the entire experience more enjoyable. Because my husband was at work, the negotiating process was entirely up to me, and I am happy to say it wasn't a negotiating process as all; we discussed price and interest rate, and the "haggling" aspect of car buying, which many people dread, was entirely absent from the discussion. I drove into the dealership in an old VW Beetle Convertible, half looking over the inventory on the lot while driving around. My Fiance' and I were looking for a truck of some sort. I'm 45 yrs old and have been around the block a time or two. My Dad was in car sales for years. I know the game. I won't even get out of my car unless I see something I'm interested in. I drove in looking for a used truck for around $7k to $10k and about a $200-$250/mo payment. After driving through the lot for only about 2 mins, and before I knew it, Mike had me, not just out of my car, but on the show room floor. Within about the next 10mins he's pulling around a 2011 Honda Ridgeline with aprocx 40k miles on it, $28,000 Vehicle. Within another 10 mins I'm driving it home to show the Fiance'. After some back and forth, we settled on a price and I got out of there with no less than about $470/ mo payment. I can afford it though, is the thing. We only use one car in our household, so I really needed a newer more dependable vehicle.I'm Very pleased. Would recommend Mike to anyone. He has a quick mind. Friendly, enthusiastic, Positive, can-do attitude. He is a textbook example of overcoming objections. Nothing detoured him from putting us in the vehicle.Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. I would like to thank Mike for his excellent service at Coggin Honda. His no pressure, straight forward approach to the car buying experience was actually quite pleasurable. I was able to tell him want I wanted and my price range over the phone, and by the time I arrived on the lot he had the exact car we were looking for ready for us to test drive. We had a relatively quick back and forth with numbers, and were signing papers within an hour. Again, the no hassle and straight forward, no b.s. approach was greatly appreciated. Ok, so this was the First time buying a car. And Honda Coggins was the 4th dealership I visited. Ryan Hurewitz greeted me at the door with a genuine friendly smile. He was very laid back listened to me totally, never pushed, gave me breaks to think, was honest, patient, and thorough. We didn't visit a lot of dealerships as we did most of the home work online. After careful analysis we found that Coggin Honda of StAugustine offered the price we were looking for. Our experience in purchasing 2015 CR-V LX was very pleasant mainly because we worked with one Mr. Ryan Hurewitz. I think we were lucky to run into him at the entrance. It was funny that the email price quote we got from Edmunds was forwarded to him. He is a true gentleman and made us feel very comfortable. He was quite reasonable, open and seemed honest during the whole price negotiation process. We didn't feel cheated or pushed at all. If we buy another Honda we would definitely check out this dealer first.

We were driving to Coggin Honda in St Aug to have service look at paint issue with 2009 Honda Civic. Wife had purchased this car new from them and loved their service. We had been discussing when we would buy a new or used Civic and the color she wanted. Gun metal grey. While our old Civic was being looked at, we're looking at the new Civic SI. Very nice! Ryan approached us and inquired if we were wanting to purchase it. We told him of our conversation driving over. He showed us 2 used Civic's. One was red and the other was gun metal grey. Coincidence? We looked the grey Civic over which had very low miles. A few hours later we were leaving the old Civic behind. We got the deal and payments we wanted along with a 100K mile warranty. I've heard lots of good things about this dealership. This was my first visit and I was impressed with their friendly, casual manner.

I Had a traumatic experience with 1 person in particular. My sales person was great which is why when I had issues with my last purchase I drove 45 min to have James Paul as my sales person. He was the only think positive in this experience however. BUYERS BEWARE! BOBBIE CRIDDLE the "new cars manager" was not only rude and condenseding to me but yelled and screamed at me telling me I am crazy for thinking that any of their sales numbers are incorrect. I was dumbfounded at how this dealership can allow this kind of behavior to customers. Luckily, I spoke to the sales GM and my sales person was able to have him "fake" apologize to me for his behavior and foolishness. I over looked this Mis hap and moved on. However, it's people like him that give honda a bad name, and car dealerships in general to adhere to the bad experience typical stereotype. Very displeased. We purchased a 2015 Honda Odyssey on november month. The service was good when we were purchasing it. Initially we choosen extra varenties and gap insurance. The next day we cancelled them all. We worked with Finace manager Chris. He said that he will send all those cancellation documents and cheque back to northwest federal credit union. But this was not happen. He didnt send docuements to them. It been more than 2.5 months. As per the bank, they did not receive any documents. We are following it up with these guys like anything to send the documents. But they are not sending us and telling us that they have sent it. Intially they said while cancelling, the payment amount will be reduced , but now they are telling it will be reduced from the principal. We are not blind to sit idealy here. We checked with Northwest federal union, they said the monthly payment amount will be revised once they received the documents. We have been checking with Coggin Honda more than 20 times and more than a month. But no one is taking action on this. VERY VERY VERY WORST SERVICE AND WE ARE WORRYING FOR PURCHASING THE CAR. CAN ANYONE HELP US GETTING OUR MONEY BANK. IF THEY DID NOT SEND THE CANCELLATION DOCUMENTS, WE WILL BE PAYING MORE 10000 BUGS WHICH WE DONT WANT REALLY.WE DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE OUR REGISTRATION COPIES YET. FOR THIS ALSO WE FOLLOWED UP A LOT . I am thrilled with my new Honda Accord! I did the research, spoke to Honda owners and even asked a tow truck driver if he had many calls for Honda's! Everyone raved about the quality and many owners were on their 2nd or 3rd Honda-so I took the plunge. I love how solid and smooth the ride is and the review remotes are great. Robert Williams provided such incredible customer service. He even helped me sinc my phone to my mini. Most people, including myself, dread dealing with car sales people. I could not believe the experience at Coggin Honda. They searched for the car I wanted, they gave me more than I could have sold my trade-in for to reduce my payment and the finance manager did not try to get me to take add-ons that I did not want. We went in on a Saturday morning with our 8 year old daughter, my husband spoke to Robert on the phone the night before so he knew he wanted to work with him. When we got there and explained what we wanted he took us right to the vehicles that checked the boxes, no wasting time. We narrowed it down to 2, test drove them both and made our choice, we had a good idea of what we wanted, we didn't even go to another dealership. Robert was very professional from the start, the whole process only took a couple of hours and we were off in our new car. We have worked with JC Caroul thru 4 Honda leases and this time we decided to buy a 2014 CR-V. JC took the time to show us the new features, program the radio stations, set up Blue Tooth, and program all the owner preferences like door locks and lighting. I had no idea there were so many options. He knew we here coming to test drive, so the SUV was ready when we arrived. It is no wonder he is a Gold producer. My first auto buying experience was smooth sailing having Ryan Hurewitz by my side. Not only was Ryan extremely professional, but a no-nonsense sales person. I was receiving many phone calls from numerous auto dealers, and finally settled for two. I spoke with Ryan, from Coggin Honda of St. Augustine, and let him know that I was negotiating with someone else as well. He asked what I was looking for, and started working on making sure I got all of what I requested, including beating the price. Ryan worked very hard to win my vote against the other competitor, and I am very happy to have chosen him. Ryan proved to be honest, and dealt with all of my "demands" in a very professional and calm form. I wanted to close the deal before on Friday before I left on a weekend trip with my family, and he had already scheduled to leave at 6:00pm on a weekend trip with his 8 year old daughter. Since I was not able to get to his office by 6:00pm, Ryan drove to me, in my new car, to drive me back to the office to sign all the papers. By the time we got back to his office, it was a bit passed 6:00pm and he was very determined to stay until all the paperwork was completed. I had to push him out the door and convince him that I was fine with having someone else assist, and that I wanted him to go and start his planned weekend with his daughter. Being a single mom, I totally understand that sometimes we are put in a situation at work, which children do not understand.Out the door he went, leaving me with a feeling of gratitude, and total satisfaction.I highly recommend for anyone who is looking to purchase an automobile, to give Ryan Hurewitz, of Coggin Honda of St. Augustine, a call. I just had the best car buying experience I have ever had. I was looking at cars on their website, saw one that I liked, and was contacted by Michael Bowman who gave me the details on the car and invited me down for lunch (they were grilling burgers and hotdogs, and they were very good!) and to check out the car. I went to the dealership, was met my Michael and he asked how I was doing and so forth. We went and looked at the car ( I really was not planning on buying), test drove it and went back to the dealership. They had no problems meeting my price, and they even get me a better deal in regards to financing then I could get from my credit union. The whole time Michael guided me along the process, and never once pressured me to make a decision. It was a great experience, I got a great car at a great price all due to Michael Bowman. He was very professional, knowledgeable about the car and I felt like I was talking to a friend of mine I had known for years. All in all, I had a great experience dealing with Michael and the dealership. If you need to buy a car (new or used), make sure you ask for Michael Bowman, he will work for you and get you the best deal possible with no pressure, and if you are lucky, you will get to eat a great burger as well! In the past, we've experienced slow, methodical, pushy salesmen who used all the typical tricks to try and get us to buy their cars. Coggin Honda is different. At any point, we could have walked away and, while I feel they would have been disappointed, they never really gave us a reason to do so. We've spent countless hours in the past buying a car but Coggin was organized and prepared. The negotiation process and financing process were both really quick. We test drove several cars, found what we wanted, negotiated and financed all in under 3 hours...which probably would have been well under 2 hours if we hadn't spent so much time in the test drives.Our salesperson, Tom, was awesome. But even the other folks in the dealership constantly checked in with us when we were waiting to talk financing to see if we wanted something to drink or just to say 'thanks for stopping in!' Tom listened to my wife and probably spent more time talking with her than all of the other dealers we've worked with in the past - combined. What's more, Tom knew everything there was about each model and when I started pressing him for information on how the different tools worked, he had an answer foe each question. He really knows his stuff. We have dealers much closer than Coggin and, after working with them, were really soured by the lack of service. We had our Acura serviced by one of the local Honda dealers and, after several costly repairs from that dealer, we took the car elsewhere only to find that the issue was not fixed, they weren't even sure it had been worked on and now the problem was actually compounded. While waiting, I went to look at new cars and salespeople were all but non-existent. Would I buy my next car at Coggin Honda? Absolutely - if my next one is to be a Honda, Coggin is the first dealer I will visit. If my next experience is as good as this one, they'll be the ONLY dealer I will visit.

Coggin Honda in St Augustine did the work in a timely manner and although I did need a fairly expensive repair they let me know about it and why I needed it. I am very satisfied with the service. I am a big fan of Honda products. I USED TO LIKE HONDA SERVICE. But somewhere along the line Honda fed the corporate Kool Aid to the folks at Coggins and good old friendly customer service took a turn for the worse. At my last service visit I was greeted appropriately enough: I arrived at the prearranged time for an oil change, tire rotation and free multi point vehicle inspection. In Coggin time past my vehicle was serviced and turned around in decent time. Not Now. Now a service advisor comes to sit by your side like a veterinarian about to tell you our dog has to be put down. The advisor has a list of "potential problem" areas. My cabin air filter needed to be replaced, "and for only $49.95 we can replace that filter". The service advisor also recommended: brake fluid service for $98.95; power steering fluid service for $98.95 and fuel induction service for only $96.95. ALL of the above services were unnecessary. Oh, and the cracked rear hatch hatch interior (which is a design flaw) could be relaxed for another $203.74.I declined the services. Reasons: a replacement Honda cabin air filter is less than $25. Installation takes maybe 5 minutes. The other services are each their own cost center. No more we can do this service and, while the car is in the air we can do this and this. Not any more, Honda gets a separate price for each service doubling, I'd not tripling, the service charges.I ordered the genuine Honda replacement rear cargo liner for $120 and installed it myself in about 20 minutes. We appreciate your business"And the best email. "Thanks for choosing our service department, I am sorry I didn't have the opportunity to chat with you". Didn't have the opportunity? I sat outside your office for two hours while you were probably distributing emails instead of greeting customers.Then there are the follow up phone calls from Honda. Today there were two wanting to extend my warranty and trade in my Pilot. All calls came from a call center where they were probably directed by the guy sitting in his office who "didn't have the opportunity to .........."Sorry Coggin. Sorry Honda. It used to be a pleasant visit. Now, Coggin's has become a predatory business. I will not be back.

We shopped Coggin Inventory online,we found an SUV we liked at Coggin Honda St. Augustine. We had a Very Pleasant Experience at another Coggin Dealership 5 months earlier, so we returned to Coggins Web Site when we decided to look for another vehicle. We chose to drive an hour ( from Jacksonville) to Look at an SUV at Coggin Honda St. Augustine, it was Worth the drive to us. We purchased a New to Us SUV, Beautiful, Perfect Condition ! We Love it ! Tam the "GM" greeted us, and introduced us to L. Hamilton, our Sales Lady, she was very Pleasant and Knowledgeable, Great Lady . Tam and, L. Hamilton went Above and Beyond our expectations. They worked very hard to meet our "Wants and Needs". They did an Outstanding Job ! We had a question for the Service Department, we were introduced to Bob, "Service Manager" , Bob could not have been more Pleasant and Helpful , just Outstanding. We were misled by a Lender, which caused us to be Upset. We were then introduced to Patrick " Finance Manager, he explained very patiently How we had been misled and we were very satisfied and grateful. To sum it all up, We are now "Coggin Customers" for all of our Future Needs. VERRY HAPPY COGGIN CUSTOMERS !!!!!

I went to Coggin Honda St. Augustine to have an oil change on my 2011 Honda CRV. While there I started looking at the 2014 Honda CRV and was so impressed with the many changes and upgrades. I took a test drive with sales agent Augustine Decruz, who was so helpful and knowledgeable, explaining how to connect my I-phone to the bluetooth, showing and explaining all the new features that my 2011 did not have. I then decided to purchase a new vehicle. The whole experience was great. I was in and out in a short time. Augustine was so polite and courteous and very helpful. I would certainly buy another car through him and for sure a Honda. The finance man, Chris was so helpful as well. This is my 4th Honda CRV. Never have had a single problem with any of them. I love my new Honda CRV.

bought a car from this dealership almost 2 months ago. within 3 weeks I had trouble with battery. went in talked to Patrick he told me to go purchase a battery and bring receipt and he would wright me a check. I did then he said it would take over 24 hrs to get my check .this all started around july 6th. from then till now july 21 ive called Patrick and the manager bobby. they say ill call u back and they don't. when I do get a hold of them they say they will check the emails and get back to me within 30 min. I never here from them . I was late on my rent because I used some of that money because he said he would give me a check the day I got it . they should of fixed the problem for me and not sent me for a battery .

William L Walker was my service representative, when I went in for an oil change notice a loud unfamiliar noise from my 2007 Honda CRV. I was very worried because I was moving back to Tennessee in 2 weeks and my Teenage daughter and nephew would be driving the car (10 hour drive from Florida). Mr. Walker listened to my needs, re-assured me I wouldn't be fixing any unnecessary repairs and assured me that they would find the problems to make sure my family and I got safely across the mountains back to Tennessee. Fortunately, they found the problem and replaced the water pump, the car would not of made it back to TN. The Cost of the repair was fair and reasonable. It was done in a timely fashion and I was informed thru out the process. I wish that our local Honda dealership in TN had the integrity, customer service and honesty as Coggin Honda of St. Augustine. So, if you own a Honda and have car trouble while visiting St Augustine don't worry Coggin Honda is a trustworthy dealer. Mr. Walker and all the employees I came in contact with were very courteous, friendly and customer service oriented. Thank You Mr. Walker!

I have a 2014 Accord purchased at Coggin Honda St Augustine. Since I bought the car on a weekend final numbers on my loan were not available at the time. I now know that my APR from Honda finance is a little higher than I could have had from my bank, but it is within acceptable limits. As I said, I bought the car on a weekend. As I was going through the owners manual to acquaint myself with the car I found a faulty hazard flasher switch. It would not stay on. Since this is a safety issue this problem never should have made it past new car prep. I called first thing Monday and was asked if I could bring the car by. I went to the service drop off area and was promptly greeted by a very courteous service writer who was amazed at my problem. He said he had never seen that before and agreed the switch was faulty. Unfortunately there was no replacement in stock. I received a call on Thursday of that same week informing me that the part was in and scheduled an appointment. The switch was replaced in a timely manner, and I thought that was the end of this problem. Unfortunately it was not. Some of the dash components suffered some cosmetic damage during the replacement. When I took the car back again three people looked at it and agreed that it probably happened during the switch replacement. Replacement parts were ordered, and when they came in the problem was repaired to my satisfaction. After all this you might think I would be unhappy with the dealership. I'm not. True, the faulty switch problem never should have made it past new car inspection and prep, but during the entire ordeal I was treated very well. The respect and courtesy I was shown are a shining example of what customer service should be. Although the service writer, the service manager, and the tech that made the initial repairs were consulted about the damage there was never a hint that this might be the fault of someone else. The attitude at Coggin Honda St Augustine was simple. The customer is not happy, there is a problem with the car... fix it. That is service at it's best, and it will keep me going back to them in the future. Anybody can sell you a car, but these people make you shopped there.

I have been taking my Honda Pilot for service at Coggin St. Augustine since I purchased it 2004. I am pleased with the consistent fine work that they do. The facility is clean and Carl gives personal attention to all customers. He is courteous and helpful and always willing to explain things. I am excited that I can make an appointment via the Internet. I was a little disappointed that they discontinued/eliminated the fresh fruit and donuts in the customer lounge.

I've stopped going for the quick and cheap oil changes because Honda takes such good care of me. My service representative, Dale, was friendly and patient with my questions. I'd just turned 100,000 miles on my Fit and expected that I'd need to replace the timing belt. What a joy to find out that the Fit doesn't have one! It has a timing chain which lasts the life of the car. Dale helped me know the things that should to be done at this point in mileage and helped me to prioritize them so I can plan for when I have funds available.

I purchased a used Lexus (2009) to the salesman and manager everything was rush, rush, rush. They took my car on trade that they never seen,it was in a shop for repairs. Things moved very, very quickly, too fast. Bought the car took it home. The next morning I found the two rear windows would not retract from the master control. Talked to Tom my salesman, who said he would check with his manager. Two weeks later no answer. Stopped at the dealer, salesman not in, I was told Honda People are only trained on Honda products, take the car to Toyota. I went next door to Beaver Toyota, explained my problem, a serviceman walked out with me fixed the problem, No Charge! There's more, I bought the protection package and was told, just bring it back to Coggin for any warranty. NOT TRUE!. I found a crack in the dash took the car into Coggin, showed them the crack. I was told they would call me later. They did only to tell me that I must deal direct with the company that offered the protection package. You tell me, where will I buy my next car!!

This was one of the worst experiences I have had working with a car dealer. They wasted a large amount of our time making us wait for them to bring cars we were interested in around to the front instead of letting us browse through the lot. The sales manager took my wife's keys purportedly to evaluate her car for a trade and moved our car around near the back of the building where we couldn't see it and failed to return our keys. They tried to push us into talking numbers when we made it clear that we were still in the research phase and simply wanted is to sit in and drive some cars to narrow down what we were interested in. Clogging Nissan at the Avenues in Jacksonville pulled the key trick on me in 2005 when I was shopping for my truck and I nearly had to call 911 to get my keys back so that must be a standard practice at Coggin dealerships so I won't ever visit a lot with the Coggin name on it again. I don't know why they think making the customer angry and making them feel trapped will sell cars. Had I not been distracted by looking at a car in the showroom I wouldn't have let the key trick happen still that practice needs to stop.

No pressure to buy something we didn't need. The service department provided the same top level service. My daughter and her friend took the car in for its first service. She had never taken a car in for service. My daughter came home bragging about how friendly and attentive the staff was to both her and her friend. I bought my Ridgeline from Coggin Honda back in 2007 and have had all of my service completed by their service department. They have always been very friendly, quick to get me in for the service, and the work that they do is top notch. I have never had a problem or a complaint of any kind in regard to the scheduling or servicing of my vehicle. Believe me, if they didn't do an excellent job, I would have gone somewhere else a long time ago. Great people, great service!!!

I purchased a car with them and originally decided to finance the car but later that day I decided I would just pay for it with cash. They had not yet sent the finance paperwork in, so I didn't think this would be an issue and even if they had I knew I could just call the finance company and pay off the vehicle. When I called to ask what the payoff was on the vehicle I couldn't get through to the finance director that was handling my purchase no matter how many times I called. When I did get through he did not want to give me the payoff amount, and refused to give me the finance company information repeatedly saying, "They will send you something in the mail." My car insurance company needed the lien holder information to insure the car, and Mark, the finance director, knew that but still refused the provide me with the information I needed. He also sent the finance paperwork over with the wrong interest rate on it claiming "someone else gathered his paperwork on his day off and sent it in without him knowing." I am very displeased with Coggin Honda of St. Augustine and for sure will NEVER be doing business with them again.

I went to purchase a vehicle and originally was going to finance the car. Later that day I changed my mind and wanted to just pay cash for the car and the finance paperwork had yet to be sent in so I didn't think that would be a problem, and even if the finance paperwork had been sent in I knew I could just call the finance company and payoff the car. However, when I called Coggin to speak to the finance employee who was handling my purchase, I could not get through to him. I left messages and never received a call back. Finally when I did get through to him he did not want to give me the payoff amount and he told me that on his day off another employee had gathered his paperwork and sent it in to the finance company without him knowing, this paperwork had an interest rate that was 4% higher than we had agreed on, and Mark refused to tell me the finance company information. I needed this information to provide to my car insurance company so they could insure the vehicle and he, knowing that, would not give it to me. He said "well I don't know their information" in one conversation and in another said "they will send you something in the mail." Even though they would be sending me something in the mail, I still needed their information to give to my insurance company. He was very sketchy and was not helpful at all. It was almost as though he was running away from my calls so he could get the kickbacks from the finance companies for financing the vehicle instead of allowing me to pay cash. I am very disappointed and will NEVER be doing business with Coggin Honda of St. Augustine again.

I and my brother each bought a new Honda from Coggin, and couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience. We were drawn to them initially because the price they offered on both cars through the USAA Car Buying service was notably lower than other dealers, and far lower than our hometown dealer. The service lived up to the great price draw--from the first phone call until the last wave as we drove away, our sales associate, Tom Bomar, and everyone we spoke with at Coggin was uniformly and unwaveringly friendly, relaxed, cheerful, diligent, and helpful. Tom secured a Pilot from the factory--quickly, without complaint, and at no added cost to us--and a CRV from a sister dealer. Even when a CRV switch needed to be made, Tom remained helpful and friendly. When it took longer than anticipated for the Pilot's build and ship, Tom kept track of its progress. When we expressed concerns over any delays or had yet another question, Tom did not dismiss us, chide us, or ignore us. The actual purchase, too, went smoothly, with no sense at all of pressure, anxiety, or the other dreaded conditions that so often come with buying a new car. The CRV came with rails and at my request, the service department added crossbars while Tom handled paperwork, all for less than a dealer normally would charge. And there were no surprises at all in terms of final price--all above board and honest. I take that back--there was one surprise, a good one--both cars totaled at LESS than the Out the Door price we'd been working with--the CRV nearly $1000 less even with the crossbars and rails added! Without the least hesitation we both would recommend Coggin St Augustine to anyone looking for a great experience--and be sure to ask for Tom Bomar!

Being from the mid-west and staying in Saint Augustine for the winter my 2012 Honda Accord developed a high speed shimmy when applying the brakes, so I wanted to get the problem corrected before returning home in February, I called the dealership and talked to a service representative named Vincent who scheduled me in the very next day. Everyone was professional, the waiting lounge was state of the art with comfortable chairs a movie, WiFi, water, coffee. If I lived in the Florida area year round I would without hesitation make this my car dealership of choice. The problem with my car was corrected right now and for a reasonable price I couldn't have been more elated with the whole experience, it's nice to know that other Honda dealerships have the customer in mind and not just in it for the profit. While on vacation I lost my car key. My car had to be towed to the dealership as keys had to be cut and micro-chipped. That's where I met Abby Locher. She had the service department cutting my keys as soon as we walked in the door, offered us beverages and snacks and made sure we were well taken care of while in the waiting area. There was a bit of a challenge in programming my new keys so Bob (the Service Manager) introduced himself, explained the situation and offered to shuttle us to a nearby restaurant so we could get some lunch. The situation was corrected by Boing (the IT expert and my new hero) and instead of just handing me the keys - the Service Manager noticed my tire pressure light was on so he took it upon himself to fill my tires as he knew my daughter and I had a long trip ahead of us. That in my opinion is excellent customer service! I wish I lived closer to this dealership so they could be "my" dealership!! I guess I will just have to work them into my vacation schedule and have my car serviced while in St. Augustine! Thank you Abby, Bob and Boing for turning a bad day into a better one.

While getting two recalls taken care of, the mechanic found that my engine mounts needed to be replaced and that was why I was experiencing my van "clunking" when I would accelerate sometimes. I thought that it was my transmission. Coggin Honda has the best service I have ever experienced in my life! I worked at three car dealerships in the past and they could not even compare.

Rear brakes seemed to have a problem generating greater heat than normal. Made an appointment for the next day. When I pulled up, 3 service people converged on the car, and just based on a brief inspection and a smell I did not pick up, they felt a plastic bag had gotten wrapped up on the brakes or exhaust system. After examination on the lift it was confirmed that a plastic bag had gotten wrapped around the exhaust and was now "baked" fast. Time would resolve the issue and no further work was needed. Also, no charge was made. But wait, it gets even better! As they do with all cars serviced, a safety check was made and determined that the battery performance numbers failed and replacement was recommended. I noted to Abby, the service advisor that I made the appointment with, that the battery was only about 2and1/2 years old. I had it installed at another Honda dealer due to roadside necessity. Abby contacted that dealer, confirmed the purchase date and under the terms of the warranty, a free replacement was made. As most of us, I did not recall that the battery had a 3 year full replacement warranty. All of this, especially Abby's efforts on pursuing the free replacement of the battery, went well beyond the norm, but is just typical of the competent and courteous service I have received in my 9 years of dealing with this organization.

My recent visit was another outstanding service experience from the minute I scheduled the service by phone, parked at the entrance and was greeted by Dale Fischbach, until my van was serviced, washed, and the keys returned to me and I was sincerely thanked for CHOOSING Coggin Honda for my business! Dale genuinely listened to my service request, he checked out the questions I had about my van, and went steps further asking about other specific things. Once the routine maintenance was completed on my van, Dale, as others always do, reviewed with me every detail of the work he previously said would be done, and gave me the overall assessment of my vehicle, providing insight of "what to anticipate" for the next visit. Coggin Honda provides such a pleasant, immaculate waiting area for customers with water and refreshments, movie viewing area and a quieter work/reading area...the daily newspaper and the friendliest staff around. The service team led by Bob McGuire gives true CUSTOMER SERVICE. In past experiences, I've had contact with the professionals who do the work on the vehicles and they, too, are so customer oriented and capable. I've bought items from the sales and they are nice and accommodating. THE OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE is what led me to CHOOSE to buy my current Odyssey from Coggin Honda. They display pride in their business and products, provide competent, professional service, and have genuine appreciation for customers. I highly recommend Coggin Honda.

We have purchased new cars in the past, and this was, by far, the best experience we have ever had. We wasn't pressured or hurried in any way, we felt that we were truly valued customers and the salesman (JC Caroul) was interested in meeting OUR needs, not just trying to sell a vehicle. We were looking at a Pilot, and JC showed us the various models and produced bottom line costs for each one. Although we had not intended to purchase at that time, the final deal offered by Coggin was several thousand dollars better than what we were offered by another dealer for a similar vehicle; combined with the overall attitude of JC, we decided to make the purchase. The financing paperwork was a pleasant surprise - very quick and efficient, again by someone who seemed truly interested in making the whole thing painless.When we returned several days later to have the optional running boards installed, we were greeted by our Service Advisor, Ryne Clingerman who checked us in quickly and then arranged transportation for us to the local mall so we could shop while the Pilot was being serviced. When we returned, it wasn't complete, and we had to wait for a while. The customer waiting area is also top notch - TV, refreshments, and very comfortable chairs! Overall, Coggin Honda has gained a new lifetime customer. The staff, facilities and overall attitude is far and above other dealers I have used in the past. I will highly recommend Coggin Honda to all my friends and family.

I absolutly love my new 2013 CR-V and brought it in for it's first 6 month service earlier this month. My initial contact was with Angela who set up the appointment. She is professional, courteous, friendly and a pleasure to talk with. The excellent service was completed in a timely fashion. The waiting area is roomy and comfortable. After a slight mix-up regarding the car wash and talking with the service manager Bob McGuire, it got resolved with 100% satisfaction. I inquired about a Honda CRV online, and was immediately contacted by Jim Warren, who was professional, and friendly. Because I didn't want to come in unless I knew that I was approved for a car, not pre-approved, he turned me over to Tam, the marketing manager. He took some preliminary information, and agreed to call me back shortly with an answer. True to his word, he called me back, and assured me that I was pre-approved for a CVR, and we agreed to meet that evening. By the end of the night, I drove home in my brand new car.

I hope that Honda Headquarter's realize and personally addresses Allyson Wraggs (sales) and Tam Pham (sales manager) for the wonderful job they did on Friday night (7/12/2013) for my husband Jason and myself. We were turning in my leased 2010 honda civic and I was not able to afford to lease another civic (which I love!), so Allyson and Tam worked very hard with us to reach a monthly payment that we could afford. Well, to make a long story short, they pulled through and we are grateful for their hard work. Allyson was not just a salesperson, she was a person with real concern to all the hard ship that is going on in her customers lives. For that I can't say enough times to you...THANK YOU! We visited 4 or 5 other Honda dealerships around Jacksonville and never could come to an agreement on a price and/or they didn't have the car we wanted and couldn't get it in the near future, and/or they were just unpleasant to deal with. On a whim, while on a day trip to St. Augustine, we stopped in at Coggin Honda (this is after a month or two of visiting other dealerships around Jacksonville). The first person we met was JC and he was pretty much the most down-to-earth guy we've dealt with at a dealership. We also dealt with a guy named Tan (Tam? I can't remember exactly). He was really easy going and a pleasure to work with. It didn't take long before we came to an agreement on a price and the car we wanted. They didn't have it in stock, but they could get it in two days. Two days later, we went back down and got the vehicle. JC had driven down to Orlando that day to pick it up from another dealership. During the paperwork process, the fee for the license plate wound up being higher than what was on the paper that listed the price breakdown we had previously agreed to. However, our out-the-door price remained the same as what we agreed upon (that's the price we negotiated originally), as the dealership took care of the difference in cost (which was about $135 or so). It's been 2.5 months since we purchased the car and haven't had any issues arise with the paperwork or tag. I would highly recommend this dealership and I will go back there again when it's time to buy our next car.

BEWARE. This is from a 10 time Honda customer, three from this dealership since 2007(4 total) which is the reason for me to expect honest treatment as I would have given them as an ethical businessman. I am writing this because I made the dumb mistake of trusting the people I was dealing with and I paid the price.Auto salesmen, credit managers, closers, etc. are NOT your friends. They are there to earn as much as they can for themselves and the company, so frequently such as here, ethics are shoved to the wayside. When they send you to the office in the back, throw all trust aside and stay smart and alert. Do NOT give them the keys to your trade in until the deal is complete and above board. If there is a problem ask(demand) to talk to the Honda Financial people on the other side of the computer! Sign and initial documents only when they have explained them to you and pointed out what they are for. Above all, do not allow them to establish the capitalized cost of the vehicle without showing every last amount that was used to reach that number. Don't be a trusting dummy like me and buy(without knowing) any additional warranties or finish and upholstery insurance for a ridiculously and fraudulently? high price($999) which buys you a package of shampoo and auto polish! He even made the term for 7 years even though the deal was for a 3 year lease! After questioning the transaction a day later, they told( lied?) me that I wasn't charged for the item, it was merely a paper transaction. I found out later it was buried in the purchase price but NOT indicated on any of the purchase or lease documents. This and the post from "Perry" must indicate a pattern by this dealer.Bill, you can talk about "ethics" all you want but tell me how you can justify the above, particularly when not a single word was mentioned about the transaction during the closing? I know it's my word against yours but I will gladly submit to a polygraph if your man will do the same, loser pays! In addition, I never was allowed to see the window sticker on the car and the car was delivered with three dents on the trunk lid and had no wax on the finish. My attorney thinks it might be interesting to poll customers in proceedings to see how many have purchased these questionable markup enhancers without being aware of the charge. I have contacted Honda Financial and the dealer but they seem to be reluctant to reply. I last talked to a Justin, supposedly the bookkeeper, who got quite snippy because I laughed when he said he couldn't give me the numbers that were used to reach the total purchase price, and he had to talk to someone else. It's been 3+ weeks and I'm still waiting for a return call and reply as promised.Once again, know that forewarned is forearmed.So, I reiterate:BE AWARE. SIGN OR INITIAL NOTHING UNTIL YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS YOU'RE SIGNING. BE CERTAIN THERE ARE NO HIDDEN CHARGES AND THAT YOU ARE GETTING THE DEAL YOU AGREED UPON. IF IT IS A LEASE, TAXES ARE NOT ADDED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE UNTIL YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF CARS OUT THERE AND CERTAINLY LOWER PRICED DEALERS THAN THIS ONE. DON'T BE AFRAID TO WALK!UNLIKE ME, BE SMART, TRUST NOONE!

Over the years, my husband and I plus two of our children, have purchased cars from this particular dealership. We live in Green Cove Springs so it is about an hour away but we would not go anywhere else to buy or have service. We were very fortunate to have found JC a few years ago--he always manages to get us what we want and at a price we can afford. Our last visit came after I had called JC and told him what we wanted and the extras we wanted installed. Several days later we arrived to the dealership and he had our Pilots ready to roll! I had been wanting a Honda Fit for a couple of years. I had thoroughly researched this model in Consumer Reports and paid an extra 14.00 for a report that quoted pricing from 3 dealerships in the area. Even though Coggin Honda was in St. Augustine and I live 2 hours away in Cocoa Beach, this dealership quoted an excellent price for the base model. Jimmie Cowley was my salesman and he was easy going and down to earth, not pushy or overbearing at all. It was the most pleasant experience purchasing a new car I have ever had. He did not try to sell me anything but what I came in there for in the first place.

After spending 3 weeks test driving, researching & price comparing various makes/brands of vehicles we decided on the Civic. We were become slightly frustrated with negotiations at our local area dealerships & at that time based on an internet search we received a call from Daniel Peel. Everything's good at this dealership until they force you to buy a 3rd party warranty that's known to scam people out of claims by never paying anything. But that's not what this review is about, it's about how this dealership threw in the warranty and claimed my interest rate would be improved as long as I purchased the car with it added. Reluctantly I went along with this and was told that I could simply cancel the warranty later so about 1 month after the purchase I signed the cancellation form and drove into this dealer to turn everything in. Finance manager said everything was good and in order.. 1 month later they left me a voicemail saying I need to sign some new paperwork. Now nobody's returning my calls, I go into the dealer, the finance guys are all "busy" and i'm visibly irate. These goons are afraid to contact me because they know they are trying to delay this to the point where the warranty isn't paid back in full. It has to be turned in in 60 days or less and it's about 5 days out from being 60 days too late. I bet they are purposely waiting at this point to get their "credit" for selling a 3rd party "not recommended" warranty that has hundreds of bad reviews of people not getting their claims paid for.I can't get ahold of anybody at this dealership because they are afraid to talk to anybody who calls them out on their horse crap. Fair warning to those buying here, don't get their warranty and save yourself $2000 - it's not a piece of mind and it's free money in the dealerships and warranty company's pocket. It's a scam and this dealership is enabling it.

Robert and Justin performed an outstanding job with being nowhere near pushy or sketchy. He kept his word on the price we agreed on before I arrived over the phone. I was blown away with the deals I received on my new vehicle. Nothing but the best here and I will certainly be going back. This is my second time doing business with this dealer and certainly not my last. I actually drove 3 hours away from my current local Honda dealer just to come to this particular one. The vehicle I purchased for 28K had overhead compartments that were broken. Tom promised to have them fixed, but once the paperwork was complete he did not follow through nor has he been in contact with me. I also ask to see a carfax in the parking lot which was never provided. The vehicle also came with only one set of keys. This was not conveyed until after the purchase was complete. Tom's response was, we are only responsible for providing you with one set of keys. The keys are over 300 dollars! Tom stated that I was on my own getting a new set of keys. Again at this point the deal was complete; what could I do? When Tom was asked to vacuum and clean the car he said, "its raining out, isn't that good enough." I was also forced to stop and get gas once I left the dealership due to the car having less than 1/4 tank. Another salesman cornered me in the office for almost two hours trying to sell me useless coverage. When I turned it down they sent in a second salesperson to try to trick me into agreeing to a monthly payment that included the insurance. I informed him I did not want coverage. At this point his demeanor change to being irritated with me. I shared this information with a co-worker at NAS Jacksonville and he said he had a similar experience at Coggin Toyota. Terrible experience and will never do business with Coggin in the future! Way to take my money and push me out the door ignoring any and all the issues with the $28,000 vehicle. You have the uncanny ability to take my money and downplay my concerns. I will be sure to share this information with any and all Sailors who attend car buying workshops on the Naval Base in Jacksonville.

I brought my first Honda in for my second oil change, I had received a call a few days earlier that I had a recall which would take some time and could it be done at the same time. There was a problem with the recall on the shift mechanism so i took it back the next morning, and, of course it was intermittent and could not duplicate at the dealership. I was treated with respect and an adjustment was made that could have caused the problem. I bought the car at Coggin and have now been in the service area three times and and I am impressed with the whole operation.

I have owned nothing but Honda's over the last 20 years. I currently have 3 them and they all have over 100K miles and they are 10 plus years old. Except for a few scratches, they run like the first day I owned them and we are the original owner on all. When we moved from NJ, I was concerned about the level of service I would receive when we relocated. Since, we only dealt with our local Honda Dealer. I never thought the level of service could exceed what we had. However, it did. The folks (Service Dept-Since I've only dealt with them.) at St Augustine Coggin Honda are the best. I always expect the best and get the best. Highly recommend them.

My salesman was Jimmy Cowley. I visited the dealership about three times. After the first time I knew I wanted to only deal with him, cause he gave me such great service that time...so I asked for him each time I went back. Sold my 2011 car to them the first time. Pleased. Second time started to work on buying one from them used. I returned the third time and bought one and secured the loan. Very nice car. So far all is well. I expect the car to be all I am wanting and hoping for. The sales manager Tam is also one of the very best I have ever encountered in a car sale. 100% better than a few others I encountered locally. I believe they are honest and good sales people and they tried very hard to please me and make sure the car was right for me. I highly recommend them.

This was my first time at Coggin Honda at St. Augustine and it was really a pleasure and enjoyment checking out the cars. Jimmy Cowley was very knowledgeable on the cars and it was such a pleasure having him work with me. I bought a Civic EX and before I drove it off the lot, Jimmy had made sure I knew all about my new car. My wife and I bought a 2004 Corolla from Coggin and they had done an excellent job polishing up the car and making it look amazing. What they didn't tell us what that there were major leaking problems, water damage under some of the floors and framework, a very old/worn belt, major filter damage, neglected radiator service, and faulty electronics. They should be ashamed of their dishonesty. I am a US Marine and if I did business the way they did with me, this country would be ashamed of me. I would recommend that nobody do business with this dealership. I am looking to sell the car and I refuse to be as dishonest as they were with me and thus I am having to pay over $1000 dollars to make sure I don't try to scam some poor customer into buying a lemon.

Sold my car them after they completely checked it out. They took custody of the car and had it two weeks. Kept checking to see if they had paid off the loan and sent my check out. Left messages no return calls.Finally talked to a guy who said he was the manager and that they now have decided the car did not meet their satisfaction and wanted me to come and get it.They caused me to have a late payment,and now they want me to waste gas and time to go pick it up.Told them they can return it to my driveway and hope I dont sue them in court.Never seen anthing like this.If I had purchased a used car and tried to return it two weeks later would they take it back. I think not. VERY DISHONEST

We were very happy with the process at this dealership of leasing a new vehicle. The salesman was very professional, knew his product, and quite personable. We explained that we were looking at other vehicles/dealerships for a car and that, if we found something else that we liked better, we would let them know; otherwise, we would return to their dealership. They "hated" to let us out the door without buying, but being senior citizens and having been "around the block" a few times, I believe they knew we meant what we said.When we returned, we again did a test drive, just to remind ourselves of the "feel" of the vehicle. There was no high pressure from anyone; just friendliness and courtesy. Indeed, we would recommend friends and family to this dealership in the future.

I went to Honda of Daytona for the last recall and was not impressed. when I was looking at the cars waiting for a sales rep to approach me none did so I left after my car was done. I decided to go to Coggins in St. Augustine actually for convenience since I live in Palm Coast closer to this dealership. When I went inside to give my information to the service person I went looking at the cars. The receptionist asked me if I needed any help I told her I was just looking then Jimmy came by we started talking about the CRV.. It felt to big for me cause I am short so I suggested the Fit, I have always liked them. We looked at the Fit and I took it for a test drive and loved it. The only problem I had was that they didn't have the dark grey one that I really liked. They had the dark grey but it was the sports car. They had a little trouble finding a bank that would loan me the money at a decent rate and payments that I was comfortable with but they said if I made 12 consecutive on time payments to call them back and they would get a better deal at a better rate so I look forward to that. I also got two free oil changes, that was nice.Thanks guys.

Our decision to do business with Honda of St. Augustine came after weeks and weeks of internet searching for the vehicle of choice that would fit our needs, and keep us within our budget. We were linked to this dealership from Autotraders.com, in our search for a low mileage, excellent condition, used Honda Pilot. Promptly after an inquiry as to whether the vehicle was still available, we received a very friendly and enthusiastic response from Rich. First impression went a long ways! Right away, we could tell this was someone whom we felt comfortable dealing with, and could talk with "straight up", as we live 5 hours away and had no desire to waste time on "wheeling and dealing.". The Car Fax and full details of the vehicle were accurately and thoroughly displayed on the dealership's website. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly and professional staff. Since we were far from home, we had to bring our small pet. They even allowed him inside and made him feel right at home too!! We are extremely satisfied with every phase of the purchasing process. The Business Manager, Darrel Bowens was professional, thorough and honest in his explanation and coverage of the warranty options. His friendliness and non-pushy approach is much appreciated after making a major purchase decision.We would definetly do business in the future with Coggin of St. Augustine and recommend them highly.

Quintin McMillan sold me my new 2012 CR-V so when I agreed to help my friend find a used Honda for her daughter I immediately went to see Quintin. He went out of his way to show me a car that had just come in on trade. It was a perfect card for my friend's daughter but it needed some freshening up. You never seem to be able to deal with the same person more than once. The Honda product is far superior to the competetion and retains its resale value better than most. I've been purchasing Honda products from Coggin for the last 12 years and have had minimal probems. When I do have any issues or need general service you can't beat the Coggin Honda Service Departments. I prefer Coggin due to their no pressure sales and superior service departments. My last couple purchases have been JC Caroul. He's easy to work with and follows up with you to get the deal done.

I bought my 2009 Honda Odyssey at this dealership. The vehicle has a very annoying whistling noise. I have taken it to a Coggin Honda dealership in Orlando and they could never fix the problem. I finally decided to bring it back to the St. Augustine Coggin Honda where I bought the car hoping that they could resolve the problem. I was certain that the salesman would be concerned about my satisfaction with the vehicle he sold me and would be able to help me since he seemed so helpful when he sold me my car. I quickly learned that I was mistaken. The service department wanted to charge me $100 just to look at the vehicle for a problem that should never have been a problem in the first place. They were unwilling to budge on this price, and weren't concerned that they had sold me a vehicle with an annoying whistling noise. I understand that they have to cover the cost of their technicians, but I don't think $100 is going to make or break them - it is much more costly to lose a valued customer.

My original intention for the visit was to review the 2011 Honda Insight. There was only one on the lot and was not in the colour of my liking. The head of sales suggested that he could get one for me on Monday (two days later). As I was about to walk away Mr. Hartmann, who had overheard the conversation, suggested that I look at the 2010 Honda Insight which was in the process of being traded in. Shepard was very up beat, he had the car ready to go when we got there, he clearly loves Honda cars, and deals very well with people. This is the second time we've leased a Honda as well as the second time dealing with Bob Houssami. Throughout our first lease, all of our maintenance was performed at Coggins of St. Augustine. The department members were always courteous, and our car was returned to us as clean as when we brought it in. Because of the positive experience we had with Bob procuring our first lease as well as with the service department is why we returned. Also, over the past year my husband has done much research re automobiles; their offerings/pricing. He always arrives at the same conclusion--no other auto gives one so much for his money as Honda!Sometimes what we do go unnoticed. Such is not the case in dealing with Bob Houssami. Our second lease experience was as great as the first. Again, Bob was very cordial. He can't do enough to be sure you are happy. For this he should be congratulated. Coggins Honda of St. Augustine is indeed fortunate to have Bob in its employ. Re financing we dealt with Bill Rambow for the first time. We found him also to be friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. He handled all paperwork in a very expeditious manner. Our experience with him was also very positive.We are very satisfied with Coggins Honda of St. Augustine and its great employees!

There was a situation with how the sale would be divided between the salesmen. I should have never have even have known about. However, when I realized what was going on and why it had happened, I trie to speak to mgr. on duty. What a JERK! I later contacted the actual store manager. He was polite and helpful. In the end the Jeep was sold as and 'as is' sale. Not even 2 weeks later the window motor completely broke. So much for your complete inspection. As it is now, my mom is in the market for a new car her last car was a Honda Civic. Her new car won't be..... When you guys conduct business like this - we won't come back! I feel ripped off, having to repair a car window that should have been fixed before the vechile was even sold! You guys got me once. But, that's it. Be assured I share this story with all of our daughters friends parents in the market for a car for their future 16 year old!What's odd is the salesman - John never sold my husband a car! It was the other salesman that sold 'ME' the car!

We came into the dealership for a test drive of the Pilot. We had specific criteria in mind for our vehicle, and even though that specific car was not on the lot, our sales person's attitude was always positive and accommodating. Shepard Raines worked very hard to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted and that we were satisfied with the quality, sales price and financing. The finance department was very helpful, as well.

My husband and I recently purchased the 2011 Honda Odyssey from this dealership. We are very happy with this purchase and pleased with the service that we received. After a long-long search for the van that we wanted, we ended up at St. Augustine to see the van in person. We were warmly welcomed by everyone at the dealership and we began to work with Victor Ng since my husband had internet contact with him previously. Victor was wonderful to work with and best of all, he was not pushy. After some thought, we decided to purchase the new van, which was a big step for us! I was treated like royalty from the minute I entered the dealership. There were no hassles or in your face uncomfortable feelings of making you buy a car. My experience from start to finish was very professional and everyone from sales, finance to service were top notch. I didn't think that anyone could top the customer service I received from being a Mercedez customer for the last 10 years but the most certainly did. My wife and I are thoroughly pleased with the professionalism that we experienced at Coggin Honda of St Augustine.Tom Bomar was our first contact. He spent at least an hour with us and he's very knowledgeable about the Honda products. Tom was pleasant as we asked dozens of questions and took the CR-V for a long test drive. Tom then described the differences in each model with great detail and explained the options that we would have. He was never pushy. He was much more of a car 'educator' than a 'dealer'.We left the dealership without purchasing to have some private discussion and to run a few errands and Honda offered us to continue to test drive a CR-V during that time. When we returned, Tom was busy with another customer, so we spoke next with Quintin McMillan. Again, we were very impressed with the overall environment during our sitdown discussions with Quintin. All of the questions that we generated during lunch were answered. We brought a fair purchase price to Quintin and he spoke to the Sales Manger, Patrick, and our deal was approved. I assumed this was probably the point where we would be passed onto the finance and after-market people, and our dealings would Quintin were done. That was not the case. Quintin was there every step along the way and he ensured that we understood and were comfortable with the entire process. He went out of his way to accommodate us in every phase of the paperwork. When we needed to go back to our home to get our trade-in and more paperwork, Quintin was very patient. When we returned after 8 p.m., he then took the time to introduce us to our new CR-V SE - going over every small detail to guarantee that we understood every option and safety feature.My wife hadn't bought a new car in ten years and this was the first time I EVER bought a new car. We could not be happier with the way we were treated from start to finish at Coggin.

Bought/lease several cars from them. This last deal was a buy back of my leased 2008 Ridgeline RTX for a 2010 Odyssey EX RES. After a few haggling of prices, I was very pleased with my deal. Sign and drive with a tow hitch and harness on the Odyssey and my payment only went up $0.62 (yes...sixty two cents). Going to send a referral this weekend and hopefully she will be buying from them.

We just purchased a 2010 Honda CR-V EX-L with Navi from Coggin of St. Augustine. Our sales associate, Quintin McMillan was knowledgeable, courteous, patient and polite. In our selection process, we looked at 9 different small to mid-size SUVs over a period of one month. We narrowed our choices down to 4 brands. We visited the 4 dealerships on our "short list" for a second time. We concluded the Honda CR-V was the right choice and returned to Coggin for the third time to talk about the terms of a deal. Throughout all three visits we were treated with respect, courtesy and were never subject to "hard sell" tactics. We highly recommend this dealership.

I bought a van through Ebay and needed to export it to Canada where I live. I found Quintin McMillan to be a great help in making sure that all the paperwork was in order for a smooth trip across the U.S./Canada border. He never seemed bothered by my many questions or requests, and he took it upon himself to call me just to make sure everything was going well at my end before I came to pick up the van. It felt like he really cared, and wasn't just "making a sale", and it was reassuring as a first-time Ebay vehicle-buyer to feel like I was in such good hands with Quintin's help.

He answered all of my questions and gave me additional information that I had not yet considered. He was honest, up-front, true to his word and never used any pressure tactics. His quote was the lowest of the 6 dealers I had contacted. In addition to the great price on my new CR-V, he helped me secure a good trade-in price for my old car. Quintin stayed with us. He asked what we wanted and I feel he worked hard to get the the deal we wanted, the car, the color and within the price we could afford to spend. I was treated as good as if I were part of the family. I met two or more employees but I didn't remember their names. I would reccomend this dealer to anyone. Ashley was especially friendly and helpful. The finance employee was also very nice! My daughter had bought a car from them previously and found them to be extra friendly and helpful also.

Jeff and Ashley were very helpful as Sales Reps. My issue is with Management. I bought a used Mazda MX-5 with keyless entry and start. After the sale and when I was getting ready to leave, I was handed one key. I asked where the other key was and they said they only had one...and my the way, it doesn't work. Probably needs a battery. After taking it to the Mazda dealer for a new battery, I was told that it wasn't a battery and I need two keys to program the system. Cost $316. The car was under warrantee otherwise it would have cost $1500. Lost keys are not under warrantee. I contacted Coggin in hopes to get re-imbursed with no luck. Apparently once you sign the papers, it's your problem.

I contacted Mark Narace via email once. He responded within 15 min with a quote I could not refuse. I visited the dealership within the hour and he remembered the email I sent and my vehicle request. He showed me a similar vehicle so I can could determine if I wanted to get the car requisted. At NO point was I pressured to buy a different car. He was extremely friendly and treated me as if I had millions even though I am a college student and appeared as one. Dealership has a kiddie room where my nephew played video games and Mark gave me a car to use while they were finishing up the paper work. The finance department was straight forward and didnt pressure me if I wanted all the options such as lowjack, tire protection, maintance, etc. I replied no and he left it at that. Great dealership and I WILL purchase another vehicle there.

My experience with everyone at every level at Honda of St. Augustine was extraordinary.My wife told me what kind of vehicle she wanted ahead of time, and I was prepared with some stats and numbers.I worked through the sales rep, Tom Bomar, and Jeff (the finance person) directly, and they were polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and straight forward. I was not afraid to ask tough questions, about the vehicle, the financing, the industry and their dealership. I was not rushed or pressured. Everyone else in the dealership was polite and friendly, from the detailers, to the other sales people, and the greeters.The sales reps and staff of Honda of St. Augustine went out of their way to get the vehicle ready for me the sale day and even drove the new vehicle home for me as I did not anticipate to be able to make the purchase and drive home the same day.Without hesitation, and even to my trying to dissuade them from extending themselves, they drove me home late on Saturday night, certainly after closing time. I did not tell them that I run my own Sales and Marketing company, nor did I tell them that this story will be told to tens of thousands of others through my training seminars and conference calls.I would use my experience with Tom and the entire staff at Honda of St. Augustine as a model to use in any business.Bottom line: They were great. We love the vehicle, and I really feel great about the purchase.If I write anything more, you might think they paid me to write this. I took the extra effort to write this, because they earned it. They will be my first stop for my next purchase.
