Updated on 12/22/2020: While most businesses will take negative reviews and use them as a guide to improve their service, that is not the case with this dealership. Leaving my original two star review has got me banned from servicing my vehicle at this dealership. I’ll miss the low cost, but not the bad service. My advice, just don’t buy from them. They’re obviously fine throwing you to the curb once you’ve made the initial purchase. Lots of courtesy left to be desired at this Nissan dealership. I only come here for oil changes, because I can’t beat the $39.99 price for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. However, any other recommendations are bogus and should 100% be double checked before any services are completed. The last time I was here, I was given the recommendations on the first picture (control arm bushing fix and alignment needed immediate attention). After checking with another mechanic, neither of those things were needed. I just brought it back for the next oil change, and the control arm bushing fixed itself, as it is now in fair condition, and the alignment is no longer needed. Either I am about to be rich due to my incredible self healing car, or they are full of it. Your pick into which one is more plausible.

Ben Walker makes doing a deal w Courtesy Nissan easy. We travel over 2 hours to purchase from them. They are honest. We come to an agreement over the phone and when we show up, it’s EXACTLY the same as we discussed. This is our second vehicle purchase from Courtesy Nissan of Tampa and we were just as pleased as the first time. Also, Gary in the service dept is excellent. He goes above and beyond to ensure safety and quality. This dealership exudes integrity in every which way. That is why we purchase from them even though we live far away.

My last car was totaled it was nice . I wanted something different so I called Nissan and I spoke to Cristian and told him I was looking for something different. He started sending me links weren't there quite there yet , so together he and Victor search and found me exactly what I wanted . I'm completely happy and satisfy they did more then just care about a sale they to listen to the what the customer wanted. Cristian listen to all my questions he listen to what I wanted not what he wanted me to buy. I absolutely love my automobile he went above and beyond he said if I have any questions to ask I wrote them down I did ask .Him answer without rushing me to get the next customer or before I change my mind. I will tell anyone to go see him. There probably more Cristian's there I was bless to get the real one.

Quality customer service and vehicle service each visit! You are informed if or when additional services are recommended or needed. The wait times vary depending on the day and/or service, but they are very accommodating. There is plenty to do in the area while waiting or other options if you don’t want to wait. Restaurants and nearby mall if you want to use a shuttle, but there also are places within walking distance too. Take your pick!

God was looking after me when I asked for Terry Phillips on a referral from a family member, my son and future daughter-n-law. All I can say is he made the experience a wonderful one and listened to all MY wants and needs and all the new technology extras that I was not comfortable with having or needing. Terry listened to what I wanted, a trait that many dont have. Many are deaf to what is said or have their own agenda. I have bought many new cars in my life time and this was the best experience out of all of my purchases. Terry was welcoming and astounding and if that was not enough, he made me fill like family and sincerely cared about making sure I was purchasing the right car and meeting my needs as far as financing. I noticed when I was in his office that he had many awards and tributes and I knew I was in good hands. I read people well coming from the corp. world and now retired, Terry is one that is someone you can put your trust in and you cant say that about everybody. Trust is earned and he has earned mine. Courtesy Nissan has a great asset in you being on their team as you bring trust, friendship and loyalty to a higher bar. Thank you so much for your expertise and help. It was so calming having you walk me though all the buttons on the steering wheel and the dash boards and for sicing my phone to the blue tooth. Also, I do want to say that when I walked through the doors of the dealership, the whole time was there, employees were always making sure that I was being helped in a carrying manner. I bought a BRAND NEW 2016 Nissan Altima SR just 2 months ago. I found some spots on the radio screen and in the AC vents and I tried to wipe them off myself with NO luck. Long story short I am still arguing with them about cleaning it off, still with no idea what the residue originally was. Now they've ordered a new radio for the car, but after MUCH arguing and struggling with SEVERAL employees. Tonight I just drop my car off to these HORRIBLE people and they try to give me a DISGUSTING rental car. A 2015 Nissan Rogue. There are stains everywhere, there are hairs on the seats, footprints on the seats and on the back of the seats, SO UNSANITARY; there are also scratches all over the outside and on the driver side of the car. I have taken photo documentation of EVERYTHING, starting from the spots on the radio screen, to the scratches on the screen, to the NAUSEATING and DISTURBING rental vehicle they gave me. I argued with them for another vehicle to which they replied they were already doing me a favor and that they had no other rentals available. If I had I not been in a hurry I would have refused and just waited for another day for a nicer rental something atleast comparable to my car. I just want my BRAND NEW car fixed, that is all! I would NEVER recommend this dealership to ANYONE. I have made sure all my friends and family know that they are AWFUL and have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They don't know how to deal with customers at all!! Also, while waiting today for a manager (who again was no help) several other customers were arguing with service reps clearly unhappy with the service they were receiving as well. I WOULD HAVE PAID MORE MONEY FOR MY CAR AT ANOTHER DEALERSHIP JUST TO RECIEVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT GO TO COURTESY NISSAN.

I've been going to this dealership for about a year and get all my services done on my 2014 Nissan Altima. When buying my car they helped me even when I had low credit and every other dealer refused to sell me a car. I give Courtesy Nissan "3" stars due to there service department and there manager there. On 10/15/2016 I came to do my 3000 mile oil change like I do every 3 months. Everything on my car was working fine and my Nissan actually notifies me if theirs an issue. I turned off my car and let one of the associates who work there turn it on, so i know everything is fine. 2 hours later, I picked up my car and as soon as I tried starting it up, it turned off on me. Tried several more times and nothing started. I explained to the manager what happen and that the timing of this incident just doesn't add up. All he said was "you can pay for a new battery and labor is free." Are you kidding me! everything was working fine, and 2 hours later battery is close to 0%. I'm a customer who would of gone to this dealer to get new ties, oil change, anything that would of broke on the car spending 1000s of dollars here. but over a battery this place has lost my trust and i will take my future business and my cash elsewhere. Manager that I spoke with was not Scott Hewitt but another gentlemen.

I went in for simple service on my 2013 Nissan Sentra and walked out in a brand new 2016 Nissan Sentra. This was an awesome experience and a dream come true for me! I'm still in disbelief! I wasn't planning to buy a new car, nor do I need one, as my current vehicle (Nissan) runs just fine; however, the year-end clearance and financing/rebate options are enticing, so I figured why not buy now. I located the car I want, and have sent about three online requests for info, but never received a response. That should have been my first indication of what was to come... I decided to stop by the dealership and try to locate the car I wanted. I walked the lot alone, and no one came out to assist. This was on a Tuesday afternoon, which is not a peak sales time, so someone should have been available. I left and phoned their sales department the next day. I fully explained the price I was looking to pay, and explained the parameters (rate, finance term, NMAC, etc.). I provided the information for my paid off vehicle and told the sales person that if we could not come to an agreement on numbers, there was no reason to waste anyone's time. The sales person sent me a text less than 5 mins after our call stating he'd spoken with his manager and they could get to my number. They just needed to see my car. I scheduled an appointment for later that evening, as was assured via text that the vehicle I wanted to purchase would be pulled up front and ready for me to test drive. I arrived and the vehicle I was looking to purchase was nowhere in sight. On top of that, I spent about 30 mins dealing with the salesman going back and forth to his manager, finance, etc. who kept proposing scenarios with numbers that weren't even close to what I discussed with the sales person earlier that morning. My out the door price, terms, etc., were written down and initialed by me on the sales sheet, and still, I was presented with numbers and a term that was ridiculously far apart from what I was looking for. I left the dealership and received a call the following morning from someone in their internet department. After much back and forth, he admitted they couldn't get close to my number, and I believe they knew that all along. My original sales person was pleasant, but it's clear he was not the decision maker, and those that are do not care about being honest and transparent with customers. This dealership will lie or do whatever it takes to get you in the door, knowing full well they can't get near the terms you're looking for. I'm also not confident the vehicle is even in stock. All in all, this is a lousy and unprofessional way to do business. Operating this way tarnishes the Nissan brand and erodes customer loyalty. I'll likely write a letter to Nissan as well, so that they're aware the actions of the franchised dealers are negatively affecting their sales and brand.

EXCELLENT! The young sales associate, Tim Barbeau, was friendly, had a great personality and was knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted, a 2016 white Nissan Rogue. The finance manager, Irvin Arce, was courteous and friendly as we waited for the deal's paperwork to come through and be signed. I left the dealership a happy woman, and if circumstances allow, I will return.

Last time replaced two wrong tires. Still had original problem with nail in tire. Came back and they patched the tire when I was previously told RFT tires cannot be patched. Told me to come back another day to replace tire another day since his shift was over. The moment got in car and drove off noticed a bubble in patched tire causing car not to drive smoothly.

Well I was at Nissan for a simple battery check when Terry had spotted me alone in the waiting room. The funny thing is I was reading the news board about Trade In and it stated to speak to Terry with any questions. I knew right then and there it was a sign! When he stated his name I told him I was interested he was very quick to the point and I didn't feel pressured not once during the process! I told Terry what I expected for my trade in how much my monthly payments should be and with that information he found me a car right away! It was the best experience I've ever had at any dealership and ive been to quite a few in many different states! I highly recommend visiting Terry!

Courtesy Nissan has been servicing my car since the days when they were Precision Nissan on Dale Mabry. They always do a great job and I will always take my car to them. They go through service advisers frequently so you never know if the person who helped you today will be there when you come back three months later. I also don't like that they try to sell you services such as the various system flushes since many of those do more harm than good. On my May 2016 visit, they recommended the following flushes - transmission, brake, power steering , coolant and fuel service (these were not recommended during my February 2015 visit). Why they recommended the coolant flush is beyond me as they replaced my radiator in October 2015. Do your research first before agreeing to unnecessary services! Knowledge is power.

Zack made sure I got Timely courteous service with some discounts when my earned service points not recorded or counted as I expected. I always get emails from Courtesy Nissan of Tampa saying I will earn points with each service. I have yet to see them even when I spent over $500. I bought a new rogue from you guys in April 2016. The guy in finance I dealt with was Irvin. Well it turns out that he or (whomever) wrote the wrong vin number. It was for another rogue not the one I bought. Well they called me like 2or 3 weeks later to go fill out the new paper work for the rogue that I had/have. I went like the first week of June or last week of May. Well when we went to fill out the paper work and Irvin called Nissan to tell them that there had been a mistake on the vin well he said that the original contract was done on May 5th which it wasn't. He was trying to make it seem that I had the car for less than 1 month so I guess Nissan bank would still see my rogue as a brand new car. I let that slide and I didn't call him out on it. Well when we did the original contract when my son was calling to get insurance I some how the 72 month loan turned into a 75 month loan. I don't speak English and I don't read all that well since I didn't go to school past the 2nd grade. ( my son is writing this letter for me). Well anyways I let it slide. And when we went to go fill out the contract for the correct rogue I didn't renegotiate on the price or the terms. Again I let it slide. Well the reason I have been writing Irving and he hasn't responded. Nissan bank has been sending me bills for the rogue with the vin knmat2mt7gp648352. That's the rogue that I DONT have. It is three months passed due and it's affecting my credit and I'm not going to pay for a car that I don't have. I guess Irving didn't send in the paper work telling them that I don't have that car. I called Nmac and they said to tell Irving to send in the paperwork telling them that that deal was "closed" since he didn't send it in when he was supposed to they say said he had to send it in. Well he still hasn't sent it in. my credit has dropped like close to 100 points. I had even gave them 10s on the surveys so they could get their bonuses. Eventhough it hasn't been wasnt. I have sent this email to Irvin the finance guy and I have also sent this email to the finance manager Younes Bouzoubaa and they haven't responded to me.

The Internet service leaves a lot to be desired. There was no record of my Internet chat, so I had to start over from square one when I arrived at the dealership. However, once I started with my sales rep, Evelyn, everything went smoothly. She was very helpful and respected my boundaries. There was no pressure and we were able to strike a deal. The financing process went so smooth and Jose was amazing. He helped me find the best rate and offered only the optional add-ons that I was interested. He didn't try to "sell" me on something I didn't want or need. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend checking out this dealer.

The customer service staff and waiting area are nice but they don't complete the services that they charge you for. I went in for a tire rotation and alignment. The same tire that had low pressure was in the same position when I left and all four tires were less than 30 psi. They did not rotate or align these tires.

Courtesy Nissan of Tampa refused to honor a manufacturer's warranty on a transmission, and even charged us $400 for a "fix" that didn't work. On a recent trip out of town, we were about 60 miles away when the transmission on our 2009 Nissan Cube began to surge. We had it towed to the dealer, Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, which checked it and found nothing wrong. The dealer instead flushed the transmission, charging us $400, saying that might work. Two weeks later, again we were 60 miles away on the interstate when the transmission again surged. We again had it towed to Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, which again said it could find nothing wrong. We have discovered that Nissan has extended the warranty on the transmission in the 2009-10 Cubes because of this very problem. Courtesy Nissan said it would not replace the faulty transmission under the warranty because their diagnostics showed nothing wrong. We suggested the service department replicate the problem, that being driving the car at high speed for about an hour. They refused, saying they could not cut someone loose to do that. Instead, they drove the vehicle a few miles around town, which resulted, predictably in no problem with the transmission. We called the customer service department in Franklin, Tenn. which called Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa urging it to honor the warranty, which the dealer refused and continues to refuse. Now we're stuck with a Cube that we can't drive for more than an hour before it strands us on the interstate, endangering our lives and the lives of others because the vehicle malfunctions. The Cube has 77,000 miles on it; the warranty on the transmission is up to 120,000 miles. Also when we called the dealer for the second time, they refused to pay for towing to their shop, saying the Cube was 5,000 miles over the limit for a free tow. All we're asking is they Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa honor the manufacturer's warranty on this faulty and dangerous transmission.

the whole process was great. I bought the base model versa with manual windows and door locks. The only regret I have is there is no key access on passenger side of the 4 door sedan so the driver has to crawl through the car to open the other side. I might invest in after market remote door locks.

DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS YOUR MONEY!!! The ONLY reason they got one star is because I couldn't give ZERO STARS!! They sold me a brand new car that they knew had problems. I called the sales person as soon as we drove the car off the lot and told him about the issues. They claimed they would fix it and have been trying for 4 months. We have had this car at the dealership 6 times, three rental cars when we had to leave it all in four months. DON'T waste your money here unless you have lots of free time to keep bringing it back in, all I want is for my car to work properly but they don't seem to care... They just keep sending me over to NISSAN manufacturer and don't want to trade out this brand new vehicle so i am STUCK WITH THEIR problem.. its now my problem. If they want to make it right my case # is 21550109 but I doubt they will!! For now I will be making everyone aware of my horrible experience and let people know NOT TO PURCHASE A CAR HERE!!!

This was my first day shopping for a much needed vehicle. My first stop was at Courtesy Nissan of Tampa. My friend and I walked up and were greeted by a young man and my experience with him left a bad feeling with my friend and I. So, we were on our way to Toyota when we decided to walk on the other side of building to see the other cars. As we were looking Terry passed by on his way to lunch. He took the time to ask if we were being helped. I explained our experience and Terry apologized and said he would take care of me if I let him. I was reluctant at first, but I listened. He went above and beyond to accommodate me, he was the constant professional, everything he promised, he delivered. He was very honest and he really took care of me on Saturday April 9th. I WENT TO DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND THEY ALL TOLD ME IT WAS A DIFFERENT ISSUE. I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING AS SMALL AS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE WHERE A WIRE HAD CAME A LOOSE AND NEEDED TO BE PUT BACK TOGETHER OR SOMETHING. EVERY TIME I WOULD START MY CAR IT WOULD TAKE A LITTLE EXTRA TIME TO CRANK OR CATCH, RIGHT?! NO BIGGIE AS IT ALWAYS TURNED ON AND RODE FINE. IT'S MY LAST 2015 SENTRA AND SINCE YOU HAVE A 2011 I THINK THIS WOULD BE PERFECT FOR YOU." I WAS OPTIMISTIC AND WENT TO LOOK AT THE CAR. JUST WALKING UP TO THE CAR I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE COLOR. IT'S BLUE, BUT IT LOOKS TO HAVE A GREEN UNDERTONE. I GOT IN THE CAR AND BOY WAS IT AMAZING. I MEAN THE WORKS. NEVER THE LESS I WAS IN LOVE. I DIDN'T KNOW HOW IT WAS GONNA HAPPEN, BUT I KNEW I WANTED THAT CAR. SO WE WENT BACK TO THE OFFICE TO SEE WHAT THE NUMBERS WOULD LOOK LIKE. DURING THIS TIME SAM WHO WAS THE PERSON GETTING MY CAR LOOKED AT FOR ME CAME TO SPEAK WITH ME ABOUT WHAT WAS REALLY GOING ON WITH MY CAR (SILVER FOX). HE HAD A LAUNDRY LIST OF THINGS. FROM THE TRANSMISSION, ALTERNATOR, FUEL PUMP, SENSORS AND MORE. I WAS SHOCKED. HERE I WAS THINKING IT WAS A SMALL PROBLEM AND EASY FIX. IT WASN'T. I WOULD'VE HAD TO PUT IN MORE MONEY THAN THE CAR WAS WORTH TO GET IT BACK TO RUNNING 100%. SAM GAVE ME SOME TIME TO THINK THINGS OVER. AFTER THINKING I TALKED WITH TERRY ABOUT MOVING FORWARD. WE TALKED NUMBERS AND I REALIZED THAT MY MONTHLY CAR PAYMENT WAS A LITTLE MORE THAN I WANTED TO PAY. TERRY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME. HE WENT AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE TO SEE IF MY INQUIRY ABOUT A LOWER PAYMENT WAS POSSIBLE.HE CAME BACK AND TURNED MY FROWN INTO A SMILE.NOT TO MENTION HE SAW ME THROUGH EVERY STEP OF THE WAY TEST DRIVING THE CAR NOW KNOWN AS "HEAVENLY BLUE" TO DOING THE FINANCE PAPERWORK RIGHT UP UNTIL I DROVE OFF OF THE LOT WITH MY NEW BABY.THE MORAL OF THIS LONG STORY THAT I TRIED MY BEST TO SHORTEN IS THAT GOD WILL NEVER LAY MORE ON YOU THAN YOU CAN BARE. We were looking for a specific truck that this dealer had. We made an appointment and did everything possible, online, to speed up our purchase. When we arrived, the man we were scheduled to see was not available and we were handed off to someone else. Courtesy had 2 days to prepare the truck for us and have it ready when we arrived. The vehicle was on the offsite back-lot. They couldn't find keys and couldn't get the vehicle out. The price was above advertised price. We even had money to put down and get the numbers where we wanted, but they fought us and gave us attitude all the way. They had no respect for us, they did not value our time and it was their way or the highway. We will never go to any Courtesy dealer and we will be sure to let everyone we know the amount of disrespect we encountered there.

I would give the dealership a good rating, however, I give Terry and Karim and Ha an excellent. I traded up twice after buying a car I didn't want and certainly was not me, I returned the car because no bells and whistles for a 75yrs old grandmother. The next car was full of a fish smell and when I received an email that said bring it in for service, I did, only to find out it wasn't meant for me because I had just purchased the car...I was furious after driving 38 miles to the dealership. Karim saw my anger and took me to Terry. Terry could sense everything was going wrong for me and distrust was all over my face. I WAS ANGRY. Talking to me for 2 minutes and finding out I was retired 33yrs from United Airlines he was able to use good customer service skills and talk about the bells and whistles I wanted and was looking for. Kudos to Terry and Karim. Previously Ha had treated me well. He recognized me and asked if everything was okay. Thank you, you three.

I want a used Armada. Found one at the inaptly named Courtesy Nissan. I traded several emails with people at Courtesy including Matt, Jeremy, Rickey, and Kimberly. Never sure who did what, they all just kept telling me everything I wanted to hear. Yes the Armada is available. Yes you can test drive it. Yes the Armada will be available at lunch tomorrow. I get there and cannot find anyone that I traded emails with. I meet a nice young salesman, but he cannot find the Armada. I recall to myself my attempts to make this go well and the appalling luck I am having. Even now as I write this, the Armada is advertised on cars.com. So, I think, a reasonable store manager would want to know when his sales system failed so completely. I ask to speak to the sales manager. I hear his name is Eunice as it is broadcast over the PA system, asking him to meet a customer at the front desk. Okay, I'm frustrated, I know I have wasted my time since the Armada is nowhere to be found. I am looking around trying to catch sight of Eunice as he approaches. Seems like a long time I am waiting. I see a man behind the glass cage where I would expect the manager to be. He does not seem to be doing anything. I wait some more. Finally, the man stands and seems to acknowledge me as he walks in my direction. I am dully on fire now. The man has been sitting there watching me ever since the announcement and he just sat there. I try to explain what happened and Eunice just smirks. Might as well wave a red flag at me. Then he asks me why I am telling him my problem. Utterly amazing. I might as well been talking to the wall; Eunice has absolutely no idea what he is doing. If I treated my customers this way I would expect I would not have them as customers much longer. I even tell Eunice I do not appreciate his smirk and he simply stands there as if deaf. I am a ready, willing and able buyer looking to replace a Nissan family product, an aging Infiniti FX45. I want something bigger, an Armada. After being treated so shabbily I would not recommend this train wreck of a used car dealership to anyone.

I had a bad experience with the service department and Terry being the great salesman struck up a conversation with me. He had asked why I had that mad look on my face. So I began to tell him my story. During that conversation Terry asked a few question about my automobile. He educated me on my vehicles worth and how it was depreciating the longer I had it. After all was said and done I found myself going home with a new car. As I went into the financing department I explain to the other Terry I was pressed for time and by the time I knew it Both Terry's had me in and out within 2 hours and that included the test drive. AWESOME WORK gentlemen. You have restored my faith in COURTESY!!

I really don't know where to begin but my family is so grateful for mister Terry Phillips starting with myself I never knew I could own a brand new car I always had a second handed used car always my life but when I met mr. Phillips he made it possible for me to be able to purchase a brand new car he's like a guardian angel. After I got my new first new car I took my husband out there and he purchased him a 2009 Nissan Altima then he trade that one in six months later and got a 2014 Altima but since then I have upgraded my car twice since then I have a 2014 Murano and I have been thinking about trading it in for a Pathfinder. But my family really have purchase about 23 cars through Nissan from mr. Our dealer Mr Terry Phillips was excellent in his customer service, he explained everything about buying a car from what we knew up to that we did not know it was very informative, in the financial part of the sale we are paying less than what we thought. the car drives like a brand new Nissan we love it and even after the sale what ever question I had or did not understand I would call Mr. Phillips he would never turn us away. I recently purchased my 2d car from Courtesy Nissan and I love it. I met Terry Phillips when I was looking to trade in my car. He greeted me with a smile, a firm handshake and walked me back to his work area. We had a discussion about the type of car I was currently driving, the type of car and features that I was looking to buy, price range of the car, etc. We also discussed the purpose of the car, family and/or business. He was gathering information about me and what I was looking for so that he could make the best recommendation of the vehicle that he thought that I would like. What I like most about Terry Phillips is,first and foremost, his exceptional customer service, his honesty and being very direct, his knowledge, expertise and experience of the Nissan products. No matter what type of car I thought I wanted, Terry would ask me questions about if the car would be suited for the needs of family and really make me think about the choice of cars I was looking for, even when I ventured to cars that I KNEW were out of line with what we talked about (laughing)!!! He would reel me in, always indicating that at the end of the day "the choice is still yours".It took Terry days and me a few trips to the dealership to finally get the car that I wanted. After the purchase of my first car from Courtesy, I learned to trust Terry's knowledge, expertise and experience with Nissan car products, so I went back to Terry to ask his recommendation on the car I wanted to purchase next. Again, Terry, spending some time with me in discussion, gathering information about what I wanted and was looking for.before he made his recommendaton. During this time, my work schedule was very busy and I could not get to the dealership, so most of my communication to Terry was via phone. Always keeping me updated and in the loop regarding car color, car features and what was available. Terry had built such a trust and repore with me, I just told him, you choose the color and car, based on our discussion and let me know what I need to do. Terry valued my time and didn't have me come to the dealership to discuss small details. He also took into consideration the needs of the total customer and not just a customer who needed transportation in his recommendations. For me, Terry is truly an exceptional sales person with great leadership and customer service qualities. I am so pleased with his choice of cars and color and I love my car. I will continue to trade in and buy my cars from Courtesy Nissan as long as Terry is there. He has proven to me that you can't judge a book by its cover and lump all sales people in the same category of being slick, manipulating and connieving. Terry not only is an exceptional sales person, he went above and beyond in spending extra time with me to fully understand what type of car would best serve my needs and the needs of my family and with taking that extra time, I am a completely satisfied customer with my car and Courtesy Nissan. I went to Nissan and had the most amazing experience. Initially I went "just to look" and get an idea of what was on the market. I was referred to Terry by my sister and brother in law who had a spectacular experience with him also. Terry was extremely honest with me about what Nissan had to offer. He assisted me in pinpointing my needs vs wants vs things I was willing to compromise on. Terry made suggestions that I had not even considered and before I knew it, I was cleaning out the car I drove in with and leaving with a brand new 2016 vehicle that had more features than I was looking for and was still within my budget. This was my first experience with Nissan and the best experience I've had purchasing a vehicle. It was honestly the first time I didn't feel as if somebody was trying to get over on me or like I had to prepare for battle. I hope Nissan values Terry and that they realize what a champion they have in him. He genuinely cares about his customers!!!

I brought my Nissan Rogue into Courtesy Nissan of Tampa and asked them to give my vehicle their 101 point inspection. They did, and told me that my vehicle needed tire rotation and an alignment. I agreed to have them perform those services. They did all of this in less than 1 hour, and told me that my vehicle was ready. They did a great job, and were very courteous.

This was a painless but fair process. I knew what I wanted when I went into the sales office and Ryan Diaz my sales representative made it work for me. I requested the dealership inspect the used vehicle and certify it for me which they did. My service officer then took the car and prepared it for delivery the next. The finance office Jr. worked with me to get the best loan terms possible. My Service Advisor, Karim, always earns my respect. He offers great communication skills, sound advice, and always takes my budget into consideration. There is a mis-conception about dealerships being more expensive than other automotive service providers, or that they take advantage of the customer. Opposite effect at Courtesy Nissan! Karim knows who I am, and they knows my car. When I have budget concerns, he recommends safety items first and then helps me determine the schedule for other services at a later date. The Service Rep., Jose Bonilla, was very helpful, attentive and professional. I take nothing away from him and the service he renders. However, I have been having this issue of sound coming from the brakes. A decision was made to change pads ect. I strongly believed that would have solved the problem. Two days later I am back where I started and with $412.00 hole in my pocket. No doubt I called the Rep. and during the week beginning 10/11/2015 he has informed me to return to have the issue checked again.I will be there.

There was a lack of help when I first pulled in to the service center. I had to wait over ten minutes and to find help myself. I also found out that the person who helped me close my purchase last year did not add the free maintenance service (7500/15000 miles service) that he said he was taking care of. I felt betrayed.

Everything was great. I got an oil change and tire rotation. I told my service advisor Sam that the visors on my Pathfinder were broken for the 2nd time. Sam had those replace during this visit as well. My only issue is there are not facilities to do some work with internet access. I have been to dealers that have cubicles with internet access and phones. I was able to get some work done, but I sat at a table where people were eating. Small complaint, but not enought to keep me away. I will continue to get my Pathfinder serviced here.

The sale man that helped me was very nice, however when he got the manager to discuss about pricing with me, the manager was very rude. I said I had a better quote from another dealer, then he asked me how much was the quote. It is not fair to other dealer if i give the actual quote to this manager, so i gave him whatever# i got in mind. He said there is no way other deal offered that price. Then I told him to give me the best out the door price which he didn't want and he just left the room without saying thank you or anything. He did mention to beat other dealer by $500. I will never come back to this dealer for $500 different. And I couldn't believe he is a sale manager.

We love the 2015 Pathfinder we purchased but this dealer was difficult to work with. We started with the internet department after finding the exact vehicle we wanted in their online inventory. I was contacted by 2 different internet sales people and emailed both explaining we would be in on 8/22 in the afternoon to test drive the car. When we arrived we asked for either person that contacted us. A very nice lady disappeared for 20 minutes and could not get anyone in the internet department to meet with us. A manager came up to us and quickly pulled a salesperson from outside to work with us. He took us for the test drive and I asked him for an offer sheet and to value our trade. I was asked Are you buying today? When I explained that we were going to shop for the best deal and I wanted to see their offer. The salesperson quickly ended the conversation with no sales offer and no trade appraisal. Now in all fairness the dealership was very busy and at that point we were viewed as a waste of his time with all the potential sales milling around. In the week that followed I visited 2 other Nissan Dealers in the bay area. Both of Nissan dealers were told the same thing we are shopping yet both emailed me an offer sheet and valued our trade. Since Courtesy still had the exact vehicle we wanted on the lot, we emailed our salesperson the best offer we had received and asked again for a deal sheet from Courtesy. Again we were told they would not do it and we would have to come in. We arrived on Sunday the 30th and our salesperson was with another customer. We were assigned to another sales person (this would be the 3rd). He was GREAT, Very friendly, reasonable and professional. He brought the car to the front to have us look it over one more time and evaluated our trade. After a brief conversation he brought us an offer sheet that was right where we wanted to be. We accepted the offer and did the paperwork. The gentleman in the finance office was also an absolute pleasure to work with. Very professional, fast and explained the paperwork and add-on items we may be interested in with zero pressure. Great guy. When we finished we met with our 3rd sales person and our 2nd sales person and explained we had to leave but wanted to make an appointment to come back and have the vehicle technology explained to us. We were told that both would be there on Thursday evening, 9/3 and that day would work perfectly for us as well. On Monday 8/31 the 2nd salesperson called my cell phone to see if all was well with the car. I told him on the phone that it was great, but we were coming in to have the systems explained to us on Thursday evening. He acknowledged that and said he would see us then. We arrived on Thursday evening at 6:45 PM and the finance person greeted us. We asked for either or both of our salespeople and he diligently tried to find them. After checking he returned to us and said that one went home and the other was on vacation. I though that odd as when the appointment was made both said they would absolutely be there. If he had a vacation planned I think they would have mentioned it. Another salesperson was assigned to help us (This would be the 4th) he was a very nice guy, He spent about 40 minutes with us and we got a lot of good information. We still have questions, but we will try to play around on our own to figure it out. On the way out I stopped at the reception desk and asked for the General Managers and Sales Managers business card. They were out of GM cards and gave me one for the Sales Manager. I asked for the GMs email and she said: I have no idea what it is. I emailed the Sales Manager about a week ago No response.The bottom line is we got a GREAT Vehicle at a GREAT Price. I guess that is all that should matter. If you are looking for service after the sale or during for that matter - this not the place shop.

I had a great experience at Courtesy Nissan. I had already been to multiple dealers and no one would give me the time of day. I thought I made it easier by already having an offer by a bank in hand, but no would take the time out to make the deal due to the amount I owed on my current vehicle. As soon as I met Joshua he made me feel like he was there to get me into a new vehicle. I explained the situation and he gave me my options right away. We then found a vehicle, they contacted the bank I had a pe-qualified offer and made the deal. It was the fastest and easiest experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. Not only did I get into a SUV like I wanted, but Joshua was able to get me into a brand new car. All I can say is thanks Joshual and thanks Courtesy Nissan for your service!!!

My 2006 Nissan Altima stalled while driving a few times after starting the car and driving for less than 5 minutes. The last time the car almost wouldn't restart. I looked up this issue and found a recall on the Crankshaft position sensor. I took the car to Courtesy Nissan who told me that my car did not fall under the recall. After the mechanic diagnosed the problem via the code, it was the Crankshaft position sensor. I was told it was a 2 hour job, but that they could complete it within an hour and a half. The mechanic repaired the car WITHIN 30 MINUTES. I was charged 2 hours labor and the final bill was $400+. I understand a flat rate labor fee, but I think the guide that this NISSAN uses is: " The guide to ripoff customers". There is no way a repair that truly takes 2 hours could be completed properly in less than 30 minutes, no matter how good the mechanic is.

I was aggravated by Mr. Younes Bouzoubaa, he is extremely disrespectful to women. He approached me in a very inappropriate manner, not truth worthy, lier. I was there because I have lost my keys and I needed immediate help. I didnt have another key, because they never gave us the second set of key they promised to give us when we purchased the vehicle. I never ask for Mr. Bouzoubaa, I had just explained the situation I had to the service manager, and he came to me with this words they told me you were looking for me "what do you want me to do, "after 1 1/2 year now is when you come" and much more!!!! at this time I had yet speak a word. Despite that he mentioned several times that he have seen my husband in the dealer, he still say that we had never come and asked for the keys. My husband went several times and every time they will come up with a different excuse, the last time they told him that they didnt have a key that was out of the market and the offered to call him back when it becomes available (One of the times the same Mr. Younes directed him to the key programer). We are still waiting for the call!! Mr. Younes left and came back to me 3 times in the same disrespectful way, he said he was going to split the charges between the two of us. Jose Fernandez (sales manager) came and told me that they will give me a key but I still will have to purchase one. By the way, since I was going to pay for the key they key was going to be ready in 1 hour!!!! (was not out of market). The funny thing is that the key they were going to give me was, most likely, the one cover by an additional warranty I have purchased that has coverage for lost keys. The dealer promise the moon and stars when they are trying to sell the care and as soon as you leave no one is responsable. I learned yesterday that you need to have a will stating that they will give you what they have offered! this made me understand that you cant trust your rep if is not written they may be laying.I understand that if Mr. Younes wouldnt come to aggravate me, this problem could have been resolved without mayor issues, specially because I was covered by my warranty and the manager can authorize my second set of keys I never received.

I have good credit and I had already been approved with my bank but after speaking with finance I was able to get a better deal. Ben was patient never aggressive as most salesman are. His concern was getting me into a vehicle I would be happy in. My family is considering trading our first vehicle for one at courtesy because of our great experience. I was sent to this dealership from a partner dealership, courtesy Chrysler, to look at a specific car listed at $7991. As I pulled into the parking lot, two sales men approached me before I even parked the car I was in. I let them know I was there to see a specific person about a specific car. After waiting for 15 minutes, the original sales man that approached me came back and told me that Jose, the person I was asking for was busy and he could give me any deal Jose could. I told him about the car I was looking for and he took me to it. The price on the window of the car was $10999. I test drive it with him and when we returned to the dealership, we went to his office. Jose came in at this time and greeted me. I explained that I wanted to pay cash for a car and not finance. He told me it would be better to finance and I could just pay it off after I purchased the car. I informed him that I would not be financing and only wanted cash price. He left me with Ben " to work bout the details.". Ben took some information from me and told me he would be right back with his best offer. After waiting for 15 minutes, Ben returned with two options: 1. Starting price of $12995 with a $4500 "discount" then added tax, tag, title, and dealer's fee for a final price right at $10,000. 2. Financing option which I did not even read because I was insulted at already having told him I am not wanting to finance and him apparently not listening to me. After questioning why there are now 3 different starting prices, $7991, $10,995, and now $12,995, I was told that one was internet price which I had to finance to get (I was not told this by the Courtesy dealership that sent me to this one), one was a special price they are offering for a sale, and the third was suggested retail price. As I felt this is very misleading, bordering on bait and switch, I got up to leave. The sales floor manager then approached me to try and get me the best offer and explain that there was fine print at the bottom of the $7991 ad that stated it was for internet purchase only with financing through them. I left dealership as I do not feel they were being honest only to be called less than ten minutes later by the "internet manager." He explained they would honor the $7991 price but after taxes, tag, title, and dealer's fee would come to $9465 " out the door." Please someone tell me where to find an upfront and honest dealership.

Even though I spent more than I was welling to pay the finance manager, Rick, came down in price in a great amount. With the incentives and trade in value for my trade it helped greatly as well. The sales person, Jason, did wonderful job even being caught in the middle of a crossfire of myself and finance.

Jason was our sales rep but Ben and a couple of the other associates joined up with him and really worked hard to make sure we were well taken care of. Our brakes had gone out that morning and we spent $400 to fix it, so when our back axel broke off that afternoon we were stuck. The guys worked with us and were very understanding of our situation. They stayed even after closing to make sure we were able to have a new car to go home in. They have two new customers for life. I recommend you come here if you want people who care.

I had a great buying experience! Ben, was my salesman and got me everything I asked for 2015 SL rogue premium package. First of all, I went there not wanting to be hassled and be given the run around. I actually had a car ready for me at another dealership (unsigned paperwork), but my husband suggested we shop around. I am happier that I did. I am one who judges heavily when it comes to customer service and I like how Ben met me at my car door. The entire process took a little over 2 hours (maybe less). We negotiated back and forth about 3 times until I got the price I was pleased with. They have one of the largest inventories I have yet to see. I would definitely recommend Courtesy Nissan and Ben my salesman there, especially if you want the best price and get right to the point.

Came in for service my service rep. was jose . he was rude and demanding. i spend alot of money to fix my motor mount and head gasket to be treated like i was a inconivence to then be asked to write a survey so he can get paid. i will not give a bad survey for the nissan website but this is to mangement to let be known . And to the lady named Stephanie who started yelling at the advisors in front of all other customers she needs better mangement ethics rather than embarassing the advisors.

First, they did not want to honor the true car discounts that I presented them with. After much haggling it was decided we could not come to a price that was satisfactory. I left to discover that I had left my drivers license inside, as I was exiting the showroom with my license the sales manager yelled across the room with a price that I was happy with. PLEASE note: The vehicle that I selected from the internet was sold, however, it was still advertised on their website... that seems to be a common thing with dealers these days. The offered to order the vehicle from another dealer and I signed the intent to purchase order on a 2014 Muruano SV AWD. I selected 3 colors and they were to have it within 3 days..... after a week I went to dealer to take delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle that was "ordered" was not one of the colors I selected, however, I agreed to take possession of the vehicle. Once the transaction began it was $4,000 more than the previously agreed upon by the sales manager. He then told me they never agreed to sell the vehicle for that price. I left their showroom. Later that day I called my salesperson, who was full\ of apologies and that the manager had discovered his error and that they would discount the price by another $1,000. Once at the dealer I asked for the window sticker, which couldn't be found as I wanted to learn what the options/features were on the vehicle. Once home I discovered the vehicle was a FWD not an AWD. And lastly, a month later I have not received second smart key that was promised when I took delivery... I have gotten the typical.. its in the mail. Further, my salesperson told me that he was not commissioned and that he slept well at night. This is truly a case of buyer beware and get everything you can in writing and dont settle.

Matt Lorenz from Internet Sales was very professional on the phone and provided us timely information via email. We informed him that we were closing on a bankruptcy and he did not push the issue.When we went to the dealership to see the car we were looking at, we were met by Jay who was very friendly. We alerted him to our bankruptcy discharge and that we were awaiting paper confirmation. He seemed to lock into the car we looked at online and did not go over other possible options based on our financing needs. The 2013 Rogue that we looked at was priced over 18,000 and there wasn't much budging on the price. Jay and the finance rep., Jeremy, stated they were going to give us a substantial amount more for our trade-in than it was worth. In the end, it was all written back into the loan and we ended up getting a loan term for 75 months, not the 72 discussed (another 1000.00 more financed). Since then we have been called every week about our bankruptcy paperwork with threats that the bank may need to refinance at a higher rate.This was our 4th car purchased at Courtesy and our last. We love Nissan as a brand, but the service at Courtesy has changed.

Horrible! What's sad is that I used to think this place was awesome. We even bought 3 cars from here in the last year. As of two days ago my opinion has been completely changed! The staff that we were used to is all gone and I am not surprised; they were actually cool. So now after my recent experience I WILL NEVER purchase here again. I'd rather spend more money elsewhere! They are dishonest and will lie to your face and insult your intelligence. We expect that from the stereotypical car salespersons but they are ridiculous and have no respect. I had to put one star but this is really 0 out of 5.

The saleman is very crafty. We made a deal online, he said he talked to his manager and they agreed with deal. I repeated so many times to make sure they agreed with deal. They kept saying yes and told me to come. I told them I lived in Bradenton 1 hour of driving. i told them had to make sure the deal out the door including tax and everything. The saleman also repeated the deal on the phone many times as well. However, when we came there, they didn't want to sale with the price we deal earlier. The saleman sneaked away and had two managers came out. They found many differrent reasons to not agree with the deal. "They say one way, but do another". I still have the voicemail of the saleman that said they agreed with deal, but I don't want to show those crafty. NEVER trust them. If you dealing with them on the phone, make sure you deal on their bussiness phone because it is recorded. Do not deal with them on their personal cell phone. NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. NOT RECOMENDED!

When my old Camry started giving me problems I realized I needed to replace it. The car I really wanted was a Nissan Murano, but I was willing to consider a Rogue or even an Altima. I did some research at cars.com and found a Murano that was low mileage, Nissan Certified and right in my price range at Courtesy Nissan. I called and made an appointment with Ed Nogar in their internet sales department.Ed was waiting when I got there before opening the next day. I told him very clearly - my price range was $18K - $20K. I only want to look at Muranos, Rogues or Altimas. I set these boundaries knowing full well that car salesmen will automatically start showing me cars 10% above my range, or talking monthly payments rather than price tags, or steering me towards other used cars that offered them a better margin.Ed did none of those things. He never tried to show me anything outside my range, except for one car that was a little below my lower boundary. He never showed me any other type of car. He encouraged me to test drive all three, and then suggested I re-drive two of the cars that had become my finalists. He never hurried me, steered me or pressured me.What a refreshing experience that was! When I finally made my decision on the car I tried to talk down the price a little . . . the sales manager printed off all the Muranos in the area in my price range, and this one really was priced better than anything else advertised. I couldn't argue much with that, but they still knocked a couple hundred off the price. We went through the financing process with no problems, I got very little pressure to buy warranties or add-ons, and I was out the door with my new car.After the sale Ed continued to take great care of me, helping to get a second key fob made for the car.If all car purchases went this well we wouldn't have negative stereotypes of used car salesmen - Ed was fantastic and I'm very happy with my Courtesy Nissan experience.

I purchased a Gold Plus Plan (Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc) from Mr. Arismendi at a cost of $1786 for a used car purchased on May 19, 2014. It was suppose to be the same plan I had on my Hyundai Sonata. Mysteriously, all of the information on the warranty contract was filled in by computer, with the exception of the plan selected. That box was left blank. I didn't notice this omission until I returned home. I called Mr. Arismendi who assured me it was the Gold Plus Plan and said the purchase price would verify that. Uncomfortable without having written proof that it was the Gold Plus Plan, I asked for written confirmation. Mr. Arismendi had me bring the warranty back to him and he used a pen to check the Gold Plus Plan box that had been left blank and signed his signature by the check marks.. Feeling uncomfortable with the fact that the box was not filled in by computer, I called Fidelity Warranty to confirm what I was told by Mr. Arismendi and discovered it was all false. He wrote it up as the Gold Plan, a lower costing plan that provides lesser warranty coverage. I suspect this was not an accidental oversight by Mr. Arismendi. Up until this time I have been a loyal Hyundai customer who brought my previous car into Hyundai every three months for service for the past five years.. My experience with Mr. Arismendi has changed my trust in Courtesy Hyundai. I wonder how many other customers he may have done this to who would not discover they had been issued a lesser quality plan until years later when they might need warranty work. He is the first Courtesy Hyundai employee I have dealt with that I feel is a poor reflection on Courtesy Hyundai.

Just want to sent out a big thanks to the Service department. As a female taking her car for repair or service I always get talked down to or attempted to get taken advantage of. Tony was my host/ contact, he spoke to me with a manner of professionalism and respect. The service was timely and I didn't feel robbed. I noticed the service manager was actively working along side with his guys and not sitting at his desk. I will return to this dealership for future repairs.

We found a 2012 Volkswagen CC on USAA's website and went to the used car dealership at Courtesy Nissan to look at it. When we pulled in to the parking lot, the sticker price on the car was almost $5000 higher than what was advertised online. We were told that the price on the sticker on the car in the lot was their "haggle price", but we continued with the purchase. Since I am in Tampa and my better half is in Germany at the military base there, we waited until the following day when USAA was open to complete the transaction. Everything was supposed to be in order when I arrived to sign final docs, but after more than an hour of waiting, I had to leave. On try number two (after being told once again that all was in order and that I only needed to sign), it took them more than an hour AGAIN before docs were ready for signing. The finance manager that did the signing was very short and almost rude. When I asked the salesperson why he was so upset, it was explained that because we had our own financing through USAA, he was essentially working for free and that it may be an explanation for his poor attitude. Shortly after taking the vehicle home, we realized that it leaked even though we were promised that it had undergone inspection and had their highest rating. I called the service department and was told that our salesperson would have to authorize the repairs, so we left messages and sent numerous unanswered emails. Finally, we were told that he was no longer with the company, but the sales manager said to bring the car in for service. He said that an authorization was not necessary. I'm REALLY confused at this point, but bring the car in. I make an appointment for Saturday at noon after explaining at length and giving details about the issue with the leaking sunroof. I go out of my way on a Saturday afternoon to this dealership to keep the appointment that they've given me to be told that I'm going to have to leave my car with them the following work day so that they can do the repairs. I've wasted my time bringing the car in on my Saturday afternoon. So I make another appointment for the following Monday, as it is supposed to rain and I can't risk more water coming into my car. I show up before work on Monday morning and am told that I am going to have to PAY to rent a car to drive while they fix the defective car they've sold me. I agree to this even though I'm not happy. It's $30 for one day and I really just need the leak fixed before anything is permanently damaged. They tell me to pick the car up after work on Monday and to come before they close at 6pm. I leave work in Brandon, pick my daughter up from daycare in South Tampa, and then drive frantically in rush hour traffic to make it to the dealership at Hillsborough and Dale Mabry before they close. I see that I am going to be late, so I call to let them know I'm running about 10 minutes late. They say ok. I then show up to be told that my car is not ready and that I'm going to have to come back the next day after work to pick it up. The car still leaks. I asked why they didn't call me to let me know. Why didn't they stop me before I made an unnecessary trip for a SECOND TIME? So I come back to the dealership on Tuesday after work and am told that my car still leaks and is not ready to go home. This makes a THIRD WASTED TRIP. By now I'm upset. It's one thing for the car not to be fixed, but they've wasted my valuable time three times now. They've promised me my car and haven't delivered AGAIN. By now, they've agreed to take care of my rental car. To jump ahead to the end, they had my car for TEN DAYS before it was repaired. It sat there for more than one day untouched as I am repeatedly calling for updates at this point. They deliver my car to me at my place of employment. It is filthy. It is unwashed and there is some sort of glue or sealant all over the hood of my car and the edges of the windshield. My $300 RayBan sunglasses are stolen from the car as well as a portable GPS that was in the console. Yes. I am an idiot for leaving my sunglasses in my car. It was a complete oversight in the chaos of a rainy Monday morning, keeping in mind that they were only supposed to have my car for one day. I am told that it is my fault for leaving valuables in the car and it absolutely is. I trusted the dealership to be honest and trustworthy with not only my car, but my belongings. They claim no liability. The dealership has refused to do anything to compensate me for the theft. They do, however, offer their apologies, which unfortunately does not keep the Florida sun out of my eyes while I'm driving. They have offered to clean the glue off of the hood of my car, but want me to leave it with them so that they can do this. I do not trust them with my car and have NEVER had such a horrible experience with a dealership. We expected professionalism, especially since USAA and the military endorses them. We will be complaining to USAA and strongly suggest that any other military families use ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BUYING A CAR FROM COURTESY, RUN. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT, RUN. RUN FAR IN THE OTHER DIRECTION AND LOCK UP YOUR VALUABLES.

I thought I could not get a new car because my credit was not the greatest however, Alex called again and stated you don't have to have perfect credit to get a car from us, can I send you an application to your e-mail and we will go from there. So I did, and Praise God, he send an e-mail and stated Good News we can help you. So we went in the next day my husband and I and drove out with a brand new 2014 Altima. We'll after the second time getting regular every couple of months service on my vehicle I noticed that the little sticker was 7000 miles until my next oil change. I know that usually it is every 3000 or three months which ever comes first so I call. When the services department hears my concern for the fact that they gave me the wrong sticker and that in the long run had I not noticed it I could potentially cause severe damage and void my warranty, he told me that yes I was correct. He also informed me that I could come get another one and that he understands that most normal working class citizens sometimes have to go over on mileage because they cannot afford to get maintenance on the exact dates and mileage max. First off, I'm offended that he assumes that because I drive a smaller car for the economy and personal reasons has nothing to do with my maintenance requirements. Second, they forget to reset the printer and the long term damage and problems only come out of my pocket, I always go to the dealer just so that Ido not have problems when it comes to something going wrong. I am going to drive all the way to Wesley Chappell from now on, they ensure customer service is their number one priority.

Had corresponded with Tony Jones and several other dealers as I was looking for a low mileage Honda or Nissan. I never met Tony we only communicated a handful of times through e-mail. After advising Courtesy Nissan I had purchased a vehicle and was no longer in the market for a car I received a response from Tony that said " Thanks for wasting two months of my time. Good Luck!" I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and this only reaffirmed that I made the right decision by not getting a car from Courtesy and Tony Jones. Perhaps they should get a dictionary and look up the meaning of the word courtesy.

We had such a great experience at Courtesy Nissian the other nite!! We got there after dinner on a Friday nite and consummated a deal after nine at nite. They stayed open and got our car ready even after hours. Ava Velaquez was just awesome. She stayed to the very end made us feel comfortable and we never once felt rushed. In today's world the service part of any industry has taken such a large hit in a downward spiral in recent years. Not here, they were great!!! Received an outstanding deal but after that, worst buying experience we've ever had. Took approximately 6 hours over two days to take delivery due to understaffed finance department during a sale weekend. Car was not ready when promised. Paperwork was lost which included copies of our driver's licenses and insurance card that contained personal information. Car was filthy when delivered even after having been to the detail shop twice and was missing the floor and rear cargo carpet mats that were a factory option. The manager finally had to take it back and do some of the work himself (thats what he told us). SirusXM was not activiated and the dealer representative couldn't tell us the duration of the free introductory subscription. Looked at two vehicles in different colors to confirm which one we wanted to purchase; The first one we sat it was also filthy with dirt all over the floor as if someone took the car to the beach and tracked sand into the car. The dealership lacks significant quality control measures. The focus seems to be on the sale but after you sign accepting the deal its on to the next sale before they have completed your purchase and delivery. If you expect a quality experience, we would seriously suggest a different dealer.

I was very disappointed with my sales rep first. He promised me things that he could not deliver. I drove all the way from Miami to Tampa on his promises, and this is after numerous emails and photos to make sure I did not waste my time or his. Once I made it to the dealer, the used car sales manager made a mistake "conveniently", everyone spent their time covering it up and trying to figure out how to fix it, instead of coming to me and being honest. The entire time I was there, I was very open and honest with them telling them what I could do, they offered me another option, but of course, when I agreed to it, they said their GM was driving that vehicle and I could not get that one. After all was said and done, I left with a vehicle that was not what I wanted to purchase, and at the finance table I was told there were miles on the car and the warranty did not include those miles (this was a NEW car)...but the sales man and the finance manager argued about it, but the finance guy ended up winning and I ended up screwed again.The dealership knew how unhappy I was and someone called me from customer service. I told them the entire story, it was actually very close to what the employees stated, except for a few details you would expect them to leave out. I was offered to come back and they would re-purchase the car for what I paid for it, and I could get the Armada Platinum I intended to buy at first. BUT NOW, the price is over $10,000 additional that I have to give them. Unfortunately I don't have the original offer where I was not given the Platinum because the GM had it, at that time I had to give them an additional $8,000...Oh well, when dealing with these guys, make sure you get it all in writing and do not leave without keeping all your paperwork...it will haunt you in the end. Add me to the list of unhappy Courtesy Nissan of Tampa customers.

The staff was friendly, provided me with much entertainment, and ensured that I was pleased with my purchase. I stopped in to check out the newer Nissan Altima's since my 2000 Altima was getting on in years. Lou greeted me and asked the right questions, showed me the CPO Altima's and took me for a test drive. Although my plan was to just get the feel of the newer Altima's I ended up driving a 2012 CPO off the lot. No pressure, just low key and and friendly, and told me to make sure it was really the right car for me since I planned on keeping for a long time. Very happy with staff I came in contact with, especially since it was a hectic Saturday afternoon.

This is the response I sent Courtesy Nissan after being spammed by phone and email even through I told them I was not interested: Courtesy has a very bad reputation... I should had headed the warnings and never waisted my time by time stopping by. I bought the same truck, actually better, 4 door vs 2 door (same options) for a substantially cheaper out the door w/less than 10 minutes of "negotiating" at another dealer. I walked into Courtesy and was ready for a quick sale... Maybe I annoyed your sales people as I pulled them away from the guy selling illegal counterfeit watches (in the show room) out of a suitcase trying to purchase two new vehicles... Also, the "best" price was nearly 6K above the USAA negotiated price. Really? USAA will get feedback from me also since I know Courtesy pays to be apart of that service. We bought two cars from Courtesy a few years ago, which wasn't pleasant. I assumed maybe things had changed in management over the years, but I was sadly mistaken. I bought and paid for a new car that wasn't in stock, ensured it was on the boat for delivery, and then was tried to be tricked into picking up a used demo vehicle from Orlando since the aforementioned car never existed. I held out for a new delivery. Never again, never again Courtesy.

I was in the market for a new car for the first time and did a lot of research on different vehicles and different dealerships. Since I was a first time car buyer and I had heard horror stories about car salesmen, I made sure I did my research about the vehicle I was interested in before ever making contact with a dealership. I first spoke with Ana Velasquez at Courtesy Nissan of Tampa, she was extremely polite and helpful with all my question about the new 2013 Nissan Sentra SV I was looking at, I was also happy they weren't calling me a million times a day after the initial contact like some other dealerships. I work normal business hours and it was very frustrating having my phone ring every 5 minutes from every dealership trying to sell me a car, but Courtesy Nissan was exactly what their name states, courteous. I set up a test drive for the Sentra and was handed over to Peter because Ana would not be in the office, and he was absolutely great! He was not like most car salesmen when you can tell they only care about the sale, he cared about what I could afford and what I needed out of a vehicle. He never pushed up sales to where I felt uncomfortable, I told him the exact vehicle I was interested in and that's the vehicle we stuck with the whole appointment. He was able to tell me every single detail about the car and answer all of my questions efficiently! I was also surprised how quickly they got me approved for a loan even though I don't have good credit, they were completely understanding and worked very hard for a deal that suited my budget. Jason was a huge factor in getting me a great price on the car, I really appreciate everything he put into the deal. As a responsible consumer I had to think over the purchase, and I had to compare prices with other dealerships to make sure I was getting a great deal. To my surprise, some of the "highest volume sales" Nissan dealerships couldn't come close to the price Nissan Courtesy gave me and in fact told me I would be stupid not to sign on their deal! Needless to say I went the next day and signed for my 2013 Nissan Sentra SV, the process was very quick and they stuck to price they quoted me, they did not play any games! Peter even helped me get my car set up with Bluetooth and made sure I knew exactly how to operate everything before driving off the lot! I'm so happy with my experience at Courtesy and look forward to my continuing relationship!

As a cash buyer, I spent 30 mins with Tim looking at 2013 Altima's including a 5 mile test drive - all good. Went home and discussed the car with the wife last night; went back today (a 50 mile trip) and asked Tim if we could look at a Certified Pre-Owned. Tim went inside to get the keys and came out with the sales manager who was clearly annoyed. Without word one from us he began telling us that we couldn't drive the car; they all drive the same; your not going to waste my gas unless you make a decision to buy now - not end of day - now; his salesman was too busy to work with me yada, yada, yada. I didn't understand a lot of his broken English but I did hear something about a new car for a few thousand more and possibly an insult directed at my dog who never left home. We were so confused by his behavior, we left, drove to St Pete and bought a CPO with less than half the miles for $600 less. Absolute truth! We've been laughing all day about our encounter with the angry sales manager trying to figure out whether his strategy was to bully us into buying a new car or whether he had confused us with someone else. Obviously I won't go back, but I came here to see if my experience was unique. In reading some of the comments here it appears it isn't.

I have been working with the salesman, Matt Lorenze, in an effort to find a used vehicle. He has been courteous and informative, not to mention patient and understanding in my quest to find a vehicle that I felt was right for me. I certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle because he puts the courtesy in Courtesy Nissan. Matt took the time to show me all the vehicles on their lot that fit the profile I was looking for and even took me to the detail shop in an effort to help me try to find the vehicle that was right for me. I ended up test driving 3 of the vehicles and was seriously considering purchasing one of them. My husband and I just wanted to think about it over the weekend. I was well aware that the vehicle could be sold, but I'm not the type of person that pressure buys. I told Matt that I would call him, but to please call me if anything else comes on the lot that he knew I might be interested in. Everything was fine until he had to take us by the manager "Rick." Of course I was asked if there was anything they could do to finalize the deal right then and I said no, I wanted some more time. Rick then made a sarcastic statement with a scowl on his face, saying, there should be something I could do since Matt had spent 3 days on me. He made me feel as though I had been wasting Matts and his personal time. As we were leaving he then said in a very sarcastic tone to call and tell him what we ended up buying. Rick, not only did you just take the courtesy out of Courtesy Nissan, but you lost my business and ruined what Matt had done to build up a good customer relationship. Not everyone can be played or intimidated into buying a car, nor do they want to be. I don't like your methods or your sales "games." You don't have to worry about me wasting your time anymore!

Got the price on the E mail but when i actually got there the price is a little higher(few hundred). The service was so bad there was more color of the model that i like but the agent was too lazy to put it up( i thought u want it red what's wrong with it?). The manager didn't go over everythings i need to know. He collected my moneys b4 he told me there was something wrong and just tell me to get help from the sale consultant. I drove home the car but it was the worst auto dealer service i had so far.

Overall this was a disappointing buying experience at Courtesy Nissan. They talk a good story about customer service but their actions did not live up to their words. We purchaced a 2012 Toyota Tacoma from them. It had only one key fob, no key to the Thule on top, no owners manual, and the transport company they hired to deliver it scratched the front fender. We didn't haggle about the price and instead requested help resolving these issues. They offered nothing and stated that they would just pack the truck up and send it back if we didn't take it as is. We purchased the truck and called the shipping dealer and tracked down the spare keys. We asked their salesman to call and he refused. I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. This was only the 2nd time I have had to purchase a car since I mostly have had company cars for my jobs. My last experience at CarMax was excellent so, I started with them. I was ready to purchase from them but stopped by Courtesy Nissan on the way to finalize my deal. I had initiated contact via email regarding a couple of vehicles I was interested in late at night and had a response the next morning from Matt Lorenz. I was apprehensive about going to a dealer. I did not want to play "the game". I stopped in with my guard up and armed with research information. Matt was busy with another customer and I was handed off to Dominic Kemp. He showed me the car I was interested in (2011 Nissan Altima) and we took a test drive together. Dominic was a true salesman. He schooled me on all of the safety and design features. His knowledge impressed me and he knew the model inside and out. He encouraged me to "test" the car's handling on our test drive on the road test as well. After we finished, there were a couple of attempts by Dominic to close the deal, but I wanted to wait to make sure that this was the one I wanted. He was polite and did not pressure me after I said I would make a decision within the week. I went back the next day and negotiated a deal that I felt good about and now I am rolling around town in a sweet ride! With any major purchase, do your homework, read fine print, know your credit score, etc. Arm yourself with information to make it a level playing field and you will have a positive experience. The shortage of 2013 Platinum 4x4 Armadas caused sales consultant Ken Wilson and sales manager Mike Accord to go above and beyond to find my vehicle. Daily phone calls and negotiating with other dealers finally produced the Armada I wanted. This is my third purchase at Courtsey Nissan and won't be my last. My 20 year old son took a nice down payment into a COURTESY NISSAN and was going to buy a used car. He had a very good down payment, good credit rating and was talked into buying a new car. He looked at the Frontier's and could not agree on a monthly payment so he leaves. Gets a call that night from dealership (COURTESY NISSAN} and they wanted him to come back and willing to work it out (probably because he had a nice down payment) with him. He went in spoke to sales people and agreed on a white Frontier and was given a great rate and decent payment so after contract signed, plates assigned he left came home and was showing everyone his new truck. Two hours later the dealership (courtesy Nissan) calls and stated we did the financing on the wrong truck and wanted it back. He took the truck back and they explained their brain fart and wanted first 2000.00, then went down to 1000.00 then as low as 700.00 more down to keep the truck. I learned one thing here....They practice shady car deals and try to take advantage of people. It sure seems like this was the plan all along. They have a young guy wanting a used car and talked him in to a new car and took his exceptionally nice down payment ran him out the door so he could fall in love with it and then call him back to get more money out of him. Basically ripped out his heart and stomped on it but my son is smart and did not trust them anymore and got his money back and walked out. I am so proud of him....Last but not least I (father) was not present but when my son was leaving he was disrespected by a salesman and my wife was referred to read two books by finance manager (White Shadows & Cigar City Mafia) that are sexually explicit. So with that said it was quite a weekend. I love USA because this will be posted everywhere and told for a long time.Robert Browning

For the 2nd time this people at Nissan on 3800 W Hillsborough Ave lies to me. In 2008 after 3 days they call me to let me know that I was not approved and last week I signed a contract for $22k Nissan Sentra SR and because I chose another color,they was supose to located it for me and they did but another model and another way low price and they call me so happy for me to go pick up the car and when I get there this sales men Terry act like nothing happend...hello...it was a different car,the color I wanted but $3,000 less then what the contract said...OMG and this is the 2nd time this happend to me but let me tell you this, won't be a 3rd time. I went to Nissan in Brandon and they are very professional, they treat me excellent and I bought the car that I was supose to get with Nissan in Tampa for way less $$ and not even that, more extras.Please don't let them play with you! Not even want to drive by there.Nissan in Brando is the best.

This was an excellent buying experience. I took the car for a couple of hours. Although offered, I declined to keep it overnight. I called the next morning to ask if the price I had offered was acceptable and was told yes. I drove to the dealership and bought my new car. I was ready to buy a truck. I had already cut the deal and got a fair price. I choose two trucks.Different colors ,same MSRP, trucks were the same inside and out. (I really liked the sales staff). Sales Mgr came up to me and tacked on the price by over $800 on one of the trucks. I asked why one color cost more.I was told due to charge backs to the truck. Seems that they had to replace the battery 3 times due to the lights left on.I have bought many cars. I know that that is pure crap. He lost a sale from me. Also I had a friend shopping for a Nissan and i told Him the story. He also bought from a different dealership.When I left the dealership. The same Sales Mgr was smoking. Thanks to Him I had to walk right through His cloud of smoke and breath the stench. IMHO the employees need to smoke in the back away from the public. It looks very unprofessional. All other employees were great.

I learned about this dealership by using the car buying service with USAA.com. I called in to purchase a new Nissan Armada2012 or 2013 and trade in my 2006 Armada. I recieved a friendly email to call in, but when I spoke with Toney Jones, it was a horrible experience. Once I told him I was upside down with my vehicle by 5 grand, and not willing to put much down, he immediately was unwilling to assist. He had a "tough luck" attitude. I could barley understand what he was saying over the phone while he overtalked me.I called twice regarding trading in my vehicle. At first he said I should not judge my experience with Ferman Nissan on him, but it proved worse. My fiancee also called in, and recieved the same poor customer service.Overall it was a horrible experience, and I didnt even bother to go in. Since I was potential trash to this dealership, Wesley Chapel Nissan treasured me and earned my business. They even thanked me for my military service to this country. I traded in my old Armada and now I am in a 2012 Platinum, and extremely satisfied with their willingness to assist regardless of my financial situation. I would definetly NOT recommend this dealership. I have a friend who wants to trade her 2011 Lexus, and I will definetly steer her down to Wesley Chapel Nissan. I wanted to make sure that this was entered to simply help your dealership in earning business. I hope this was just one bad case, and not reflect how your dealership operates.--CC

Update (3/20/2013): Starting January 3rd, this dealer was not able to fix transmission issues after 3 service visits, and service has been very unprofessional! Also, Sales Manager misinformed me that leased vehicles are not covered under the Florida lemon law. State Attorney's office stated that leased vehicles are covered. Filed defect car notification late due to this dealer's inability to handle effective customer service. Ferman Nissan has been handling the issue between Nissan and myself in a professional manner. I will never buy another car or service my car at Courtesy Nissan. Carlos Lima was helpful and friendly. I got a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and we are very happy with our purchase. From sales to management to finance, everybody was professional. I would recommend doing business with Courtesy Nissan of Tampa.

My son and I were shopping for a new Rogue, we knew exactly what we wanted, since we had done some research. We spoke with Ed Sobolow when we came in, and appreciated that he didn't 'talk down' to us like some auto sales people. He did a search, found the vehicle we wanted, and after we agreed on the price, had it brought in the next day. Ed did a good job of explaining the workings of the new Rogue to us in a relatively short time, and answered all our questions. Since the day we bought the car was my birthday, Ed, his boss and a couple other guys sang Happy Birthday to me - that was really cute! Seemed like we all got what we wanted that day - we're VERY happy with the Rogue. Would definitely recommend Courtesy, and we'll be back again one of these days.

I purchased the Frontier 09/28/2012. It is now 10/16/2012 I still have not received my new reg. from the DMV or my paperwork from Nissan Finance I called Nissan They have not heard of me. SCAM!!!!!!Also they charged me $442.00 for reg and title That is very excessive since I transferred my plates another RIPPOFF !!! I plan on filing with the Attorney Generals Office about the $442.00 Its against Florida law to even estimate these charges never mind fraud. I took my vehicle in for a clicking noise and spoke with Scott for the first time. I repeated twice I did not want any parts put on, and I authorize only one hour of labor until you talk with me first. He replied "O Mr.////// we will not spend any of your money before we call you." A couple of hours later he calls and said they put $16.00 of parts on and it did not fix the problem. So, I authorize 1 more hour of labor ($102. an hour)about 4 hours later he calls back and says we found it after about 6 hours and 2 technicians looked at it. Happy that the problem was fixed I paid the total of 2.75 hours of labor and the parts. After getting home and thinking about what took place I felt manipulated by the service writer so I spoke with management and I should have a credit of $90. on future service. I do not understand how someone can make a statement Like Scott did and due the exact opposite twice to the same customer the same day. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

My dad had spoken with Ed prior to us arriving at the dealership. They had sorted out all of the details before hand. When we got there Ed had the car ready for our inspection and all of the paperwork was already prepared for us. All I had to do was look the car over and sign the papers. Ed was wonderful, friendly, honest, and thorough. He took the time to show me every little detail on the car and how to work each and every button. There was no pressure or sales speech to try to sell us anything extra. There were no surprise fees or add ons to the already agreed upon price. Ken was modest but very knowledgeable and a true professional. Ken made me feel as though I was part of the family that works there. Our salesman, Tony Jones, is energetic, personable and capable, but his management team let him down when it came to selling us a new Murano. We do not recommend this dealership.We made two visits to the dealership, one for test drives only, the second to do a final test drive and make a deal. The car we wanted was not on the lot, so we drove a loaded-up version instead.Back in the dealership, GSM Chris displayed arrogance and ineptitude when Tony called him in to find us the vehicle we wanted, since it was not on the lot. First, he claimed there were none in the entire country, then that there were three. However, it turned out he had entered the search criteria incorrectly and there were in fact 71 such cars. When this became clear, he became curt, refused to describe the cars available nearby, and simply chose one in a nearby city from the list. It fit our criteria, and Chris left.Tony began the negotiation at an absurdly inflated price. But he was polite throughout the process, and we had worked it down to a still-high, but improved, figure, when Manager Mike showed up. He immediately raised the price again! When we objected, he insulted our research, claimed that their St. Patrick's Day "sale" meant that we would have to pay MORE, not less, and also claimed that the car had a BS pinstripe package on it that we refused to pay for. He then tried to show us online that our figure was unrealistic. But guess what? The number he found online (at True Car) was in line with ours, which was when he became rude and combative.A little tip, guys: when you sit down to show the customer your mastery of the Interwebs, make sure you know what you are doing or you will look like a fool.Mike stormed away without shaking hands with us. Tony remained polite. We were disappointed that negotiations had broken down, and angry at the way we had been treated. The next day, we bought a Murano at Autoway Nissan of Brandon, where we enjoyed a great buying experience (see review).The punchline? Two days later we got an email from Manger Mike saying that they are now agreeing to our number and come on back, and a message from Tony saying the same. But we never had a final number! Are they for real, or is this a lame ploy to get us back into the dealership? My husband wrote back to Tony saying that we have moved on.This prompted another manager, Robert, to send us an email. It is ungrammatical and rambling, but the gist of it is, sometimes things go wrong at a business, and personalities clash, but just because you refuse to patronize that business doesn't mean it won't sell things to other people. In a second email one-liner, he writes "I forgot to mention we do now have the exact vehicle you were inquiring on is here now.", which gives you an idea of his writing style.Why would Courtesy alienate qualified buyers with unnecessary rudeness, then struggle, ineptly, to get them to return? Dunno. What I do know is that this kind of dealership gives car buying a bad name. People, you do not have to put up with deceptive, rude and silly sales tactics such as the ones Courtesy employs.

We are very pleased with our Elantra purchase. The dealership is about to be renovated - so the Hyundai section of the dealership is a little worn - but don't let that put you off. I never had the sense I was playing the typical dealership "game". I was contacted by Ken directly and not a receptionist setting up appointments. He listened to what my needs were and didn't waste my time showing me or trying to convince me accepting anything less. Ken was very candid, professional and knowledgeable which earned him my sale. The most impressive part was that upon delivery, he personally took the time to go out the to the car and show me all the features, and followed up the next day to see if I had any questions about any of the features of the car and how to use them. (When I bought my daughter's car 3 months prior at a different location, they never did more but smile as they waved goodbye to us as we drove away....) My first complimentary service is already scheduled and he introduced me to my service adviser. He chose the person that best fit my personality. I would absolutely recommend Ken Wilson to anyone contemplating buying a car from Courtesy Nissan.

I would definately recommend this dealership because I was very impressed with the assistance and professional advice that leaned me towards buying my 2012 Nissan Altima. The price and payments quoted helped me get out of a bad trade situation. I was promised that this dealership can get me out of my present sitution and they were very trustworthy and kept their word by doing just that. Everyone was so friendly and they made you feel like part of their family during the whole transaction and beyond. Now I know why the dealership chose the name Courtesy Nissan because everyone is very courteous that works there.My 2 girls were with me and they felt very comforable during the whole new car buying experience. You can definately put your trust in this dealership.

The service from choosing a car to completing the paperwork was very impressive. The salesman was very thorough and honest and he kept his word with getting me out of my current car and into a new one the same day. Now I know why they named the dealership Courtesy Nissan, because they are very courteous. And they want your business for the full time you keep your vehicle and beyond.

The greatest part of my experience was the extreme courtsey and knowledge of the saleman, TERRY PHILLIPS, who helped me to decide on the car and worked with your finance department to get us a great deal that we could afford. He was easy to talked to and answered my questions and assisted us. My husband is getting ready to retire next year and we need a dependable car, comfortable and good on gas. The staff seemed nice, but Terry Phillips worked hard to make us feel coming back to Nissan was appreciated by the company. Thanks to Terry's peopld personality of really caring about your/his customers. I will definitely recommend my family and friends.

I had a wonderful experience at Courtesy Nissian. Dan Wright was extremely helpful and listened to the needs that my husband and I needed in purchasing a new car. We were looking into a Chevy Equinox and decided to come back to Courtesy Nissian after having a few not so friendly experiences at the few Chevy Dealerships that we visited. Mike the Sales manager was very helpful as well. He made sure that he did everything that was possible in order for my husband and I to drive the Murano off the lot. Troy the gentleman that was doing the finances was great. He worked very hard and diligently so that we would be able to afford the payments that we were able to pay for the car. All in all we had a wonderful experience at Courtesy Nissian and will definitely recommend our friends and family memebers to come to see Dan, Mike, and Troy when they are in a need for a new vehicle.

This Dealer Lies About Everything. We Were Supposed To Pick Up The Second Key & Have Some Other Little Things Fixed On The Car.We Had To Fight Them Every Step Of The Way To Get What We Were Promised.I Have Bought A Number Of New & Used Cars From Dealerships & I Never Had To Fight As Hard As I Did With Courtesy Nissan Of Tampa. If You Ever Buy From Courtesy Nissan Of Tampa Make Sure You Get Everything In Writing.Maybe That Was One Of My First Mistakes. Also, My Daughter Was Treated So Bad, She Was Outside On Her Cell Phone Complaining To One Of Her Girlfriends. When Someone From The Service Department Came Outside & Yelled At My Daughter.She Called Me Up In Tears, Once I Called & Spoke To Whoever Was In Charge At The Time, He Put Me On The Phone With The Person Who Yelled At My Daughter.He Swore Up & Down He Didn't Yell At Her Until I Played Him The Message My Daughter Had Sent Me (she recorded the whole thing on her cell phone).After That He Was Speechless.I Wish I Would Have Checked Them Out Before I Purchased My Daughter's Car.

On 5/19/11, I called about 10:00 in morning regarding 2009 Tucson and spoke with Used Car Manager, McRee. Was given a price and agreed to make down payment to hold car for two days. He told me he was busy and would have Bar,Internet Sales Mgr., call me back "in few minutes" to input credit card info. in computer. After an hour, I called Bar since he had not called me and he advised they had another customer on premises looking at car but he took my credit card information and appeared to process it. I called McRee back and complained about situation. He indicated customer had been there for a "half hour". I informed him I had called him over an hour before to put money down on car. He then changed his story to say customer had been in for over an hour. This car had been offered for sale by Courtesy Hyundai since 3/19/11 and the CarFax shows "no recalls open for repair" on 5/19/11. At 3:50 p.m, I received a voicemail from Bar stating the car had been sold to a party who was "there before my call in the morning". Isn't it a coincidence that after two months on their lot, the car would suddenly be sold. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very unethical dealer and should be avoided at all costs.

Let me tell you all of the potential customers, that I am very disappointed in Courtesy Hyundai and especially in Mr. Steve Roberts. Mr. Roberts did not want to provide a quote on the vehicle that I am interest in because it was not on lot. He also refused to allow me to test drive a vehicle that was on lot because it was a comparable to the vehicle I am interested in. I have never talked to a sales person with such an arrogant attitude and was not interest in providing key information prior to the sale. I could just imagine how this dealer will treat customers after the sale.

Great experience at Courtesy Nissan! I got a great deal on a 2011 Nissan Rogue without any hassels or frustration. No suprises either when the papers were signed. Overall this car buying experience was the best I have ever had. I would certainly recommend Courtesy Nissan and Ed Sobolow internat sales manager to my friends and family. Very happy with my new Nissan Rogue. Great SUV!!!!

Glenn was excellent to work with. I was surfing the internet for a car for my daughter, not knowing what I could afford, or if I could even afford one.Glenn Long was right on the ball. He helped thru finding a car suitable for my daughter and one that I could afford. He is funny, honest and easy to talk to.I was extremely satifsfied with our experience at this dealership. He talked to my daughter about the car. Gave us a tour and made her feel comfortable with bring the car back for service.The finance dept. was excellent. AWFUL BUYING EXPERIENCE.CALLED FOR AVAILABILITY OF SPECIFIC VEHICLE FOR SALE. ADVISED THAT IT WAS ON THE LOT ... IT WAS NOT.MADE A DEAL FOR PURCHASE AT THIS DEALERSHIP FOR VEHICLE IN INVENTORY AT ANOTHER DEALERSHIP BELONGING TO THIS GROUP. WAS CALLED TO PICK UP CONTRACTED VEHICLE READY FOR DELIVERY AT 1P NEXT DAY. DISCOVERED THAT A DIFFERENT BUT SIMLIAR VEHICLE HAD BEEN SUBSTITUTED WITHOUT NOTICE. REVIEWED AND SIGNED OFF ON SUBSTITUTE VEHICLE. SALESMAN WAS UNFAMILIAR WITH VEHICLE AND DID NOT GIVE A PROPER DELIVERY FAMILIARIZATION. DIDN'T KNOW WHERE SPARE TIRE WAS NOR HOW TO OPERATE OTHER FEATURES OF THE VEHICLE. MANAGER (GALLOWAY) TOOK JOVIAL NOTICE AND COMMENTED THAT SALESMAN SHOULD "STUDY MORE" BUT DIDN'T ASSIST. OTHER STAFF PLAYING VIDEO GAMES.TOTAL PROCESS TIME WAS + 9 HRS FOR DELIVERY. EXHAUSTING FOR SENIOR CITIZENS!!WE FEEL THAT WE WERE BADLY TREATED BY THIS DEALERSHIP WHOSE STAFF WAS VERY UNCARING, UNSUPPORTIVE AND DECEPTIVE. Where to begin... The sales experience...I went to Courtesy Nissan to test drive a Nissan Titan. A quarter mile from the dealership I was pulled over by a TPD officer who immediately began lecturing the sales representive for not putting a dealer tag on the vehicle and for this not being his or the dealership's first time. At the end of that I was cited for driving a vehicle without a tag. Did I mention that the salesman asked me to tell the officer that "the tag must have fallen off?" After returning to the dealership I spoke with the used car manager and asked that he ensure that his vehicles be properly tagged prior to a customer taking them for a test drive. I left the dealership. Now, while I have no yearning to be coddled, I did fully expect a phone call within the next couple of business days if for nothing else than to apologize for the time and frustration it will undoubtedly take to deal with the traffic citation. After hearing nothing I emailed the dealership's GM, Glenn Drobney, to inform him of the incident and explain that I had come to Courtesy with a check ready to buy and not only left unsatisfied, but embarrassed, dejected, and outright pissed off. What resulted was 6 weeks worth of assurances, blowoffs, missed appointments, and outright incompetence. However, I finally got ahold of a manager of the overseeing Crown autogroup in the northeast who made me a good deal on an 07 Pathfinder in Courtesy's inventory. On to the service department...After purchasing the truck I noticed that the vehicle pulled significantly to the right. I took it in to have the problem diagnosed and was told that it was due to abnormal wear on the front tires. Now I'm no mechanic but wouldn't the abnormal wear on the tires be a sign of a bad alignment not the cause? This is no Nascar the only makes right hand turns. I was told by the sales representative that if new tires didn't fix the problem than Courtesy would fix the issue. I replaced the tires and the vehicle was still pulling significantly. After taking the truck back in I was told that it was, in fact, an alignment issue and that I would have to pay for said alignment. I asked to speak with Glenn who told that due to the circumstances surrounding my purchase of the vehicle, namely my going over his head to seek out a resolution, that he was unwilling to cover the alignment. Recognizing I did purchase a used a vehicle I got the alignment done at Courtesy and left. The next day I left for West Palm and found out in short order that the problem had not been resolved. Immediately following my return to Tampa I took it back in and was told that my sale advisor (Michael) needed to ride with me to verify that the vehicle was actually pulling to the right. After recognizing the pull he said that he would call me in the next 24 hours to set up a repair date. After hearing nothing for 3 days I took the vehicle to Autoway Nissan (the nearest competitor) and had it back within 3 hours with the problem resolved. Management...Glenn Drobney is a joke. He represents a complete lack of professionalism and gives me little faith in the Courtesy autogroup as a whole seeing as how he has risen to the level of General Manager. It became apparent that his personal pride became paramount during our numerous visits to Courtesy trying to get the service issues resolved. At one point (while waiting 2 hours for a supposed 1 hour repair) he was in his office pulling back the blinds pointing and laughing at my girlfriend, my newborn son, and myself as we sat in the waiting room waiting for our vehicle. I cannot state loudly enough... take your money elsewhere. Car buying should be a somewhat enjoyable experience.... night a skit plot on dealer shadiness and managerial incompetence. I wouldn't wish this place on a snake.

Worst dealer experience ever. I almost wrote Nissan off completely until visiting another Nissan dealership and buying there. Because of this dealership, I no longer visit ANY Courtesy dealership for anything. We used to use your Mercedes dealership for repairs, but also had a terrible experience there and no longer use them.To clarify, your salesman could not figure out the price of a truck using my pre-negotiated employee price (we are a Nissan supplier). All I asked for was a price, and he called me every day asking me what I wanted to payment to be. That was not the question! In the end, I just gave up. My boss had a similar bad experience and left to buy elsewhere after arriving with a check in hand to purchase.

This was not only the best car buying experience I've yet to experience but it was also a sense of hope for me. I was in stationed in Iraq when I began inquiring about the car when I reached Tim MacAloon. He helped me with pricing although I wasn't due back in the states for a few months. Other dealers told me to contact them when I returned, if they even responded. This gentleman went out of his way to ship me a poster of my new Z for motivation and a brochure for my informational questions. The minute I returned he picked me up from the airport so I could purchase that car that helped me through some of the rough times. He will forever be in my memory for this experience. My mother and sister have also purchased from him and I will send many many more. If you are thinking of going elsewhere, you'd be making a HUGE mistake! I wanted a well cared for pre-owned vehicle. I have limited income and need to keep the payments low, and this dealership was very accomodating and the Francisco my salesman was not only helpful and knowledgeable but he made it an exciting experience as well... He showed me many models of used trucks and SUV's they had on the lot and I found what I was looking for and they were awesome to deal with. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family for sure. Very good experience here!!

At last, I have found the perfect car buying expierience. when you think it is impossible to actually enjoy buying a vehicle, Courtesy Nissan Internet Dept in Tampa proves that purchasing a new vehicle doesn't have to be a head banging expierience.I inquired about a new Nissan Altima and was contacted within minutes of my request by the internet director Lisa and then by the salesman that actually sold me the car Francisco. I told Francisco what i was trying to accomplish and he actually listened to what i was saying and found the car i was looking for. It didn't end there, he then proceeded to give me all the information on that paticular vehicle as well as assisting me with some different financing options. I just wanted to take the time and thank Dennis Norton for a wonderful car buying experience. Most of the dealing was over the phone, since we live 2 hours away, and the price we asked for was taken immediately. When I arrived to pick up the car, everything was in order and the car immaculate. All I had to do was sign a few papers, shake his hand and thank him and off I went. We went to Courtesy Nissan after shopping for several weeks online and at many dealerships in the Tampa/Brandon area. Gary was very good about listening to our needs for the purchase of a new vehicle. He found the perfect car for us, emailed me to let me know it was available, and and was able to deliver it after we came out and gave it a test drive. What a great experience! Dennis was the only straightforward person that I dealt with online. He made my experience a pleasure. I will go back to Dennis! Initially, I didn't feel comfortable communicating over the phone and Dennis was one of the few salespeople who 'understood' my reticence and established a relationship with me online. When we were ready, I called him up and closed the deal. Courtesy Nissan was very no-hassle.

Dennis was very helpful in giving me a fair, low price on my 2008 Xterra. In fact, it was the best deal I received from any of the Nissan dealerships in Tampa. Not only did he give me a fair price, he also made sure to locate the exact model I wanted and had it brought to the dealer. Priscilla was extremely friendly and competent in her field as well. I drove off in my car understanding my warranty and loan without any questions.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly, but it seemed to us that there were too many different people involved in the sale. We were handed over from one person to another. We are very pleased with the car, although it seemed to me that a similar car I test drove at another dealers was quieter when accelerating.

Had a great experience with Dennis Norton, internet sales manager. I was interested in a Nissan Altima, 2.5 with a convenience package. Dennis was extremely helpful in letting me know that there were several available, took us to the lot to find the one we wanted and was great working out all the details. He is extremely knowledgeable about the car, and gave me lots of information. We were paying cash for the deal, and unfortunately had to go through the "3 times to the sales manager" before we came to the final deal. We were happy with the price and are happy with the car. Dennis was great. Only down side is once the deal is decided, the amount of time it takes to go through all the business office details and waiting for paperwork. They have a "delivery coordinator" who walks you through all the bells and whistles on the car when it is handed off. Actually a very nice touch. Michelle did a nice job. I would recommend Courtesy and Dennis Norton based on our experience.

This was the 2nd Nissan Dealership I visited to purchase aNissan Xterra.I had in mind what my price range would be as I had been preapproved by Suncoast Credit Union for a loan. I chose a really nice one but not the specific one that I wanted. The salesman a (newbie) actually was really knowledgeable about the Xterra and was very nice. We went back to the office to transfer the one that I wanted (power package with automatic windows etc) Then the sales manager ( a complete idiot) came in and told me that I couldn't get the Xterra that I wanted at that price, but, he could give me the stripped down version that I drove, AND, get this, he would throw in some 70 dollar backpack that was part of a promotion. I laughed and left.I made the trek out to Autoway Nissan in Brandon got the vehicle I wanted for less money and much less aggravation.
