The experience at Covington Honda Nissan could not have been easier and more pleasant. Murrel Johnson was so personable and patient about my feelings and concerns about the new vehicle, my needs, financing, etc. There was no pressure to make a decision, which gave me space to do just that. James could not have made the financing and insurance changes more painless. As a woman purchasing a vehicle on my own, these factors were vital. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Took my Pilot in for a service check and oil change. Jeff greeted me with a smile and my car was ready within 45 minutes of arrival. Everyone in the service dept was friendly and courteous. While waiting was pleasantly spoken to by sales reps, Grover and Murrell and mechanic, Josh. Great place to do business!

Oil change - check fluids - change the cabin air filter - Just normal stuff done well and timely. Service writer did suggest buffing off headlight haze which I had done - did not realize that was an option available so I was happy to have it done.

This has been my only car dealership for new and used cars since 1988. Previously, I had tried others, both local and farther away. Covington Honda Nissan has consistenty treated me fairly, honestly and with respect in regards to all of the sales and service on all of my cars and trucks purchased from them. I don't even consider any other dealership. When I buy a vehicle, I plan on keeping it for a minimum of 10 years and I want to know that my dealership will be there to support me, including times of emergency. Covington Honda Nissan has always been there for me and my family. I highly recommend them for sales and service, even if you haven't purchased your vehicle from them.

While away on vacation our glove compartment lock evidently broke and we could not get it open. We waited until coming home to have it serviced at our local dealer. We had to wait a little over a week to get an appointment to take care of the problem. Once the glove compartment was opened they had to have the parts overnighted. We were given a loaner car until our work was completed the next day.

Oil change service was excellent. I appreciate the extra "look over" and recommendations for my car. I will be bringing my care there for all care now. (Had been taking it to a Chevrolet dealership, where I had bought the car.) I really wish there were Saturday maintenance hours available for those of us who work Monday thru Friday.I have to take time off work to get my car serviced.Overall, excellent service & experience.

We did not buy our Honda Accord from Covington Honda Nissan but the dealership has always provided exceptionalyl friendly service and has far exceeded our expectations. We have gotten warranty work performed, recalled items taken care of, and general service due to vehicle use at this dealership. During our most recent service, an employee even worked through his lunch to complete the work on our car. The level of service that is provided has a lot to do with the fact that this dealership is not one of those huge mega companies and they are working to be sure that the customer is satisfied at all times. When the time arrives for us to purchase a vehicle, we will be getting one from this dealership!

The salesman (Doug) was very nice, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was pleased with my purchase. I have never had a salesman spend the time with me, after the purchase, to show me how to work the features of the car. I feel confident that this salesman and the dealership will continue to give me great service as I enjoy my new vehicle. The only recommendation I would add is that less pressure would be given in selling all the extra warranties at the close of the purchase.

Jeff has great people skills and goes the extra mile to help people get what they need regarding car repairs and warranty issues. I find the management and sales folk to not be as impressive as the service department. They often times do not return calls unless they are selling a car and after that they do not respond as they indicate they will. But the service department is GREAT.

The mechanism for the airbags was replaced for the one that could have been defective and possibly caused an injury if my car was involved in a collision. I hope that this solves the possible problem.

A molding and the roof of my 2013 Sentra came off somewhere. The dealer looked at it during the factory time. I took it back for them to look at and I was out of the factory, but I had purchased the extended warranty from dealer, it didn't cover moldings. We discussed problem and they replaced molding at no charge to me.Thanks

My Ridgeline truck experienced an unusual mechanical problem in the Virginia mountains, and I had it towed to Covington Honda-Nissan. The event occurred on a Sunday, so, the tow was the next day. I dealt with the dealership over the phone during the following week. Their service staff treated me with great courtesy, diagnosed the problem, ordered the needed part, and made the repair. They did so in a minimum amount of time, and, charged me a fair price.

I was on line looking for a new truck ... And I looked at many dealerships & emailed lot's of salesmen & also talked to a few on the phone .... I talked to a salesman at Covington Honda Nissan & liked how he listened to my concerns .... I went to see this salesman Brad Harlow & he was very professional & friendly ....Also he had a sense of humor & we had a few laughs .... I trusted him & we did business .... After I bought my truck I ordered several accessories, including the toneau cover , the running boards , the bug shield & the visor things that go over your windows to keep the rain out ... I trusted Brad to pick out everything & he did a great job ... I was so happy with everything & it made my truck stand out.... It looks awesome .... My 2016 Nissan Frontier double cab 4x4 rides like a Cadillac ..... And I love it .... I went from West Virginia to Pikeville , Kentucky on less than 3/4 tank of gas ..... I now have 1,016 miles on my truck & every time I get in it I find new things out about it & get more excited about my truck ...... And it has everything I need in it ... Lots of luxuries & taking the trip to Kentucky was awesome ... I have rheumatoid arthritis & usually I get pretty stiff riding & sitting that long but this truck is so comfortable that it made the trip easier for me ... My Aunt Caroline Arthur went with me & she loved my truck as well .... I would recommend this truck to anyone ... I got a beautiful color too it's (granite) the dark gray absolutely gorgeous .... All I can say is I enjoyed my experience at Covington Honda Nissan & the parts department did a excellent job putting on all my accessories ..... Thank you to everyone there !!!! And my salesman Brad Harlow is awesome !!!!!

Steve met us on his day off so we could test drive a civic. When we decided to buy, the process was so very smooth. Shortly after out purchase we had a technical problem with the tire sensor. One call and someone came to my workplace,picked up the car, fixed it, and returned the car before I left work. Now that is service!!!

Writing a bad review is something that I do not do but feel what I have to say is necessary. our granddaughter was in a car accident and her car was totaled she needed transportation so we went car shopping we ended up at Honda Nissan the dealer showed us a used car which she liked after some back and forth negotiating we bought it for her my husband did some research on the vehicle and found the motor on that model was a recall after we told the dealer what we had found out they did replace the motor well that was a little over a year ago she was driving home from school last week smoke start coming out from under the hood we had to have it towed and when it was checked by a mechanic it needs a new motor (yes that's right a little over a year with a new motor and now we have to put out 4,00 dollars for another motor which should have lasted many years . we are very upset and disappointed when the dealership was approached they acted like they didn't even remember the deal or the car all I'm saying is buyer beware . We feel the dealer should do the right thing and put another motor in

My husband and I traveled to at least 15 dealerships within a 250 mile radius of our home and no one compared with the experience that we had at Covington. Doug Honaker did a great job of matching a nice used car to my needs! I needed AWD, low mileage and preferably a Honda with a warranty. Doug went above and beyond to help me and to try to resolve any issues that I had about previous unfortunate buying experiences with used cars. Jeff Wetherell really came through with the warranty that I wanted, and James, the Finance guy did his best to answer my contract questions. Shopping for the right car takes up some time, but you'll save time by shopping at this dealership and telling them exactly what you want. Really nice guys! The owner, Barry, was very kind and generous to me so I am now a "customer for life". Processing fee really should be on only one document and don't get scrambled and not read the numbers before you sign. I paid a processing fee on BOTH contract and warranty, but got a deal on "gap" insurance and Doug spent ALOT of time helping me find my car so- Overall-except for the time expended to read about inventory,test drive, and wait on financing options-I am very happy!!!! I had recently purchased a 2010 Honda Pilot from Covington Honda. Within a week it was totaled. I called James, the finance manager, and he helped me with some of the insurance information. After the insurance had paid off the other loan, I later talked to Jacob, the salesman that had helped me before. I told him what I was looking for and within 3 days, he had found me the exact car I wanted, with less mileage than I had specified! Jacob and James made my husband and I feel like part of the family. There was genuine concern, a quick turn around when finding another vehicle, and the professionalism is the best in the state. I had been researching and calling dealerships for about 3 weeks trying to find the right Honda for me. When I found the Pilot on the Covington Honda Nissan website, I contacted the dealership to set up a test drive. I traveled 2 hours to the dealership to test drive a 2010 Honda Pilot. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this dealership was different. Often, salesmen will make an assessment from their first encounter and can sometimes be dismissive or try to upsell you another vehicle. When I arrived I was greeted with a firm handshake and a smile. There was NO pressure to buy and all of my questions were answered. My salesman, Jacob, was knowledgeable and made you feel right at home. I was a little nervous without my husband to help with the process, but Jacob encouraged me to call my husband so he could be a part of the process and to help ease my anxiety. Jacob Swartz is one of the best salesman you will ever meet. Throughout the entire process he was friendly, helpful, and professional. He worked tirelessly to make sure I was a satisfied customer. He found me the best interest rate and wouldn't stop working until he had helped me get the payments where I needed them to be. He treated me fairly and gave me the respect that most individuals seek when making any type of major purchase. The prices are competitive and they have a good selection of vehicles to choose from. We drove all the way from Bedford Virginia to Covington and let me tell you, it was worth every mile!! I had purchased a used 2011 Volkswagen CC at a dealership in Richmond and they were rude, unprofessional and for lack of a better word screwed us! I had $11,000 negative equity in that car and it was a nice car but very expensive to repair minor things. I have always owned Hondas and after my experience with Volkswagen dealership and with the car itself I was desperate to get back behind the Honda wheel!! Fortunately my fiance has known a salesman, Grover Ford from Covington Honda and he was a true blessing from God! He did absolutely everything he could to help my situation because I was in such a huge hole that I couldn't get out of and yesterday I drove off the lot in a 2013 honda crosstour!! My negative is only about a quarter of what it was in the Volkswagen and I am now behind the wheel of a dependable car again! I will never make the mistake of buying anything but a honda again!! Grover and his finance team were just awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, personable.....you get my point!! Grover even went out to the car with us and showed us ever little bell and whistle, explained how and worked and sat in the car chatting with us even after they had closed for the day. That was a huge difference from my experience with Volkswagen where they did not even say goodbye as we left the dealership nor even showed us how to start the car!! Anytime we need a car in the future we will always be going to Covington Honda and will most likely drive all the way from Bedford for services!! Go to Grover, you will be thrilled that you did! Although the facility is a bit aged, the sales staff is nice, ease to deal with and I got a great deal on a Honda Fit Sport (used). I drove from Rocky Mount (80 miles away) to make my purchase. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase and would make a purchase from them again for my next car/truck purchase.

I live in Buena Vista Virginia and was in the market for a new Honda and decided to try the closest ones first. Went to Staunton and they wouldn't even give me a price, so i searched on the internet and found Covington Honda which was only about 40 minutes from me. Glad i went there, the salesman i had was really nice, knew alot about the New 2013 Accord and i ended up buying it. The finance guy who did my paperwork was really nice too, and got me a great rate that even beat my credit union. ( thanks James )

I was referred to the Nissan dealership in Covington by one of best friends that lives in Lexington and was so glad i took the 30 minute drive there. The staff was SO friendly and the deal i got was better than Roanoke and Staunton! I hate the car buying process, but they made it so easy. Thank you for making it really easy! James in the finance department gave me a better rate than my bank, and explained everything to me. Will defintely buy from there again!

I Had a GREAT experience with the Honda store in Covington after driving about an hour away from Staunton to get there. Not only did they beat the Honda dealership where i live, they gave me more for my trade in! I really appreciated the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff and especially liked the deal they gave me!
