I would not purchase or lease anything other than a Hyundai not only for the quality of the car but also for the quality of the dealership. They are honest, extremely helpful and work diligently to get the customer what they want and need. The service department is just as great; never pushing for things that do not need to be done to your vehicle and prepare you in advance if something extra needs to be done during the next maintenance. Negotiated out the door price on phone for vehicle shown on website. Arrived for test drive - vehicle on lot was different color that on website. Dealer offered to get my preferred color and let me drive the on lot vehicle till they could get my preferred color. Salesperson, Delroy Hudson, was very accommodating to work all this out.

My wife, daughter and I visited several car dealerships on Saturday looking to do some comparisons between new SUVs. I had intentions of looking and driving several vehicles but did not actually plan on making a purchase that day. The staff at Crenshaw Hyundai was welcoming and really gave the impression that they appreciated our considering them. After test driving the Santa Fe and the primary competitors it was an easy decision. We went back to Crenshaw and working with Elijah and Emory we left with a new vehicle. Everyone in the dealership thanked us for our business. Since the purchase, Elijah has followed up with us to make sure that we were happy with the vehicle and to make sure the roof rack cross bars were ordered for us. If the service experience is as good as the sales experience was then I think we have found a dealership for all of our future car needs. Oh and did I mention that the 2017 Santa Fe is awesome!

I thought I already gave the review on the prior page! We purchased a brand new 2017 Santa Fe Sport and we LOVE it. The wife shopped alone and picked it out. Robert helped her and by the time she pulled me in, it was a deal! The vehicle is fabulous and everyone at Hyundai was friendly and respectable. The dealership makes you feel appreciated and they value you as a customer. That's important. Robert was willing to give all the time needed for explaining details of the vehicle. We met several people and felt very comfortable. Everyone at the dealership is very friendly and helpful. We sincerely cannot think of anything that could have made our experience any better. Of course we will be in a lot for maintenance now that we own two of your vehicles, the Azera and the Santa Fe Sport. Therefore the wife appreciates the nice waiting area because she usually brings the cars in for what hey need. We would give Crenshaw Hyundai an A plus in every area. My wife and I first came here when one of our cars broke down on a recommendation. At first we were hesitant, but once we showed up we were treated like family. We didn't have to shop around at other locations. Crenshaw Hyundai had what we wanted with the best level of customer service we've had at a car dealer! That was five years ago when we bought our first Elantra. Since then we've bought 2 Hyundais from Crenshaw and loved every one! The sales staff is informative and they listen to your needs with out trying to push things on you that you do not want and/or need. On top of that, they have the best service department I've dealt with at a car dealership. With every oil change, they perform a check on the important parts of your car to keep you informed of what's going on and what's coming up with your upcoming visits. In the five years I've been coming to Crenshaw service department, I've never once felt like they were trying to sell me something I do not need. I recommend every one to come to the service department here. My former boss came up here with his Elantra for a repair from Charlotte because he felt the service was superior and more accommodating.Simply put, Crenshaw Hyundai takes care of you from the start of a sale through every car service you need!

I admit, I rushed the process a bit, however the salesperson informed me that my 2016 Veloster had the style pack on it. Once I did some more research on the car, I found that it did not. I haven't been able to get in contact with the dealer since. I overpaid for this car by probably $4000, and I should have been more aware. I hope the dealer can work with me on my new findings.

This is absolutely the WORST dealership I have ever been to!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TERRIBLE PEOPLE!! TERRIBLE ALL AROUND!! I have never ever been treated with such disrespect in my entire life. I have been thinking of trading in my Sonata for a newer model and decided to stop by at this dealership since we've been getting letters from Crenshaw. When my father and I arrived, we asked for Chris since we have been receiving letters that were signed by him only to find out that Chris pays for companies to send out these letters (I get it, it's a marketing tool). Immediately we felt like Chris didn't give us the attention and wasn't interested in us. Anyway, Chris left and another really nice fellow stayed with us, brought a couple cars for us to see until we decided on a car. We went back inside and the nice fellow started to take our information, fill out some paper work, and started the negotiations. He gave us a number for my car that both my father and I felt was fair and immediately agreed on it. We didn't even go back and forth because it was a really fait price. The nice guy took the numbers to Chris. We waited, and waited, and waited and finally Chris gives us an offer for my car that was MUCH LOWER than the Kelly blue book AND didn't even give us a deal to even be encouraged about for the new car! So we asked the nice guy if we could directly talk to Chris so he wouldn't have to keep going back and forth and be the middle man. Chris, AGAIN, made us wait and wait and wait until finally he popped his head and said he will be right with us in 15 mins. That's when I said very politely that we were really pressed for time at this point (it was around 1:00 and we've been there since 10:30). Chris finally shows up and we began to talk about prices. He immediately asked what can he do to get our business. We were honest with him and said that we didn't think he gave us a fair deal to begin with. We were discouraged from the numbers especially since the price Chris quoted for my car was much lower than the blue book! Chris was absolutely stubborn and wasn't going to AT LEAST give us the blue book price. It was such a turn off!! He had a terrible attitude and terrible salesmanship. When my father finally threw out a number to see if we could move the conversation forward, Chris got so angry and threw us out the office!! HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE!!! He caused a scene in front of other customers, told us to leave, and the other owner in the dealership was JUST AS RUDE!!! I will never, ever, EVER, set foot in that dealership again. We were there to buy a car and they obviously had no interest in selling to us!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PEOPLE!!! Never buy a car here! I would rather crawl to work on coals on fire than buy a Hyundai from Crenshaw.

I spent 6 1/2 hours in the dealership was given one price for a car signed all the paper work then I was told there was an issue but all I needed to do was have my boyfriend cosign for me and it would make my rates drop. I had to call out of work for Friday night because of how long everything took. Left the dealership Friday night in dealer tags came back in early Saturday before I had to go into work. My rates had been jacked up not lowered I'm no longer the buyer only the co signer and I felt I had no option but to sign the contract I literally had 10 minutes to be at work and that was my transportation. I expressed the entire time of signing the title how I wasn't satisfied at all actually very mad. Tried to return the vehicle Sunday but the dealership isn't open on Sunday's so Monday morning I went back to Crenshaw Hyundai and told them I didn't want the car. It was unfair to tell me my price would drop and it actually went up. I had no other choice but to sign Saturday or I wouldn't have a ride to work. I had already called out Friday night due to the dealership taking so long. I honestly feel like the dealership was only looking out for itself not having one concern about the customer and how I was being treated. I will never buy anything from that dealership again. Honestly makes me want to never buy a car again from anyone

We ended up with a deal I have every reason to believe no-one else would be able to do, by a long shot.Even after our purchase they have kept in contact with answers to our questions.Giving us a great deal and customer service I would definitely recommend people to them.I know my little review here sounds like a Hyundai commercial, but if a company does a really good job, and you can't think of something negative to say, that's what it ends up sounding like ya know.

Well long story shirt I bought a truck may 2014 . Life changed and I had to move from northern va to elon nc to live with my family full time instead of just the weekends and I had my new born son. Well my new job is 75 miles one way for me everyday so gas was eating up all my extra money. My family decided to try and find a better car for me to travel back and forth on that got good gas mileage over my big Dodge Ram hemi truck . I started my looking at the burlington honda dealership but within 1 min ( actual time) I was meet with negativity and within 4 min turned away. I then headed to the hyundai dealership in burlington. I was meet outside as soon as I got out of the car ( in 32 degree temps, honda would not go outside to even look at a car with me) by Jeff Hudgins with a very warm greeting and quickly began talking to him. He talked to me explained a lot and showed me what he thought would be the perfect car for me. Me my wife and son test drove it and did love the car. Well we went home that night while Jeff ran numbers. I did check out a few other less expensive places (kia and mazda) but Jeffs personality and customer service brought me and my family back . We desided that very next day to go back and buy that car ( 2015 sonata) that car is perfect for me and has all the option and more that I wanted. Jeff and his team worked up the best deal for me and even got my monthly payment less then it was with my truck and I'm saving A ton on gas. So the next day I found a scuff on my front driver wheel and I texted Jeff he without pause asked me to come in the next day and he would make it right. I did come in the next day and Jeff and his people gave me a brand new wheel, I mean how much better could that have been a fix , it was perfect. So all in all what im saying is the reason I gave my business to this dealership was not because of the price car or deals ... It was because of Jeff , he made the difference just by being a nice up front guy who made this process extremely simple. I will be back for all services and any other purchases I may have.

I took my Hyundai Elantra to this dealer for a recall, inspection, and oil change. Initially they tried to soak me for $200 for oil, filter, and wheel service. Despite telling them that the filters and tires were new, they "mistakenly" did the work, realized their error, and re-installed my original filters from the trash. They told me they gave me a free alignment in conjunction with trying to coax my email address out of me for a dealership survey which they wanted me to give them 5 STARS. Well, they neglected to give me my state inspection results, did not mention a service recommendation, and totally screwed up my alignment, tire pressure, and god knows what else. My wife, who was looking to replace her 10-year old clean and near perfect low-mileage Camry with a new Sonata, is now looking at another Camry. After my brother recently purchased a Genesis in Charlotte, it seems that most Hyundai dealers are universally HORRIBLE!

He answered too many questions to detail over an entire week of going back and forth on what we wanted and what was available...giving us options that made the most sense. Once we purchased the vehicle, he personally went over all the accessories and made sure we knew how to make the most of the vehicle. The whole service experience was very satisfactory from scheduling to completion of the service. I was able to arrange for the service on Tuesday and bring in the car at the time I wanted on Wednesday. I was greeted by the service manager and the salesman that sold me my car and was treated in a friendly and courteous manner. The service was done in a timely fashion and a multi point inspection was done and all fluid levels checked and filled as needed. The waiting room was comfortable and my service was completed in less than 45 minutes even though the wait seemed shorter in the comfortable waiting area. I was in desperate need of a car as mine was about to die. When I went to Crenshaw, it was mainly to see what they had because I had seen a used Accent somewhere else. I was introduced to Tony Posey, Sales Representative, who took us thru the whole process of buying a car. He was personable, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to do business with in general. I went to Crenshaw Hyundai to purchase my first car on my own. I had visted previous dealerships that told me I had to have a co-signer, which I didn't want to do. Sales agent Damond Faucette assisted me. He was very kind and patient. With the help of the sales manager he was able to get me into a car without a co-signer and with an affordable car payment. 2 years later I was able to trade out of the older car & into a new one. Damond contacted me when there were incentitives available, which made my trade easier. I would have to say this is the best dealearship that I have worked with. They are very helpful, proffessional, & polite and that goes for everyone there. Anytime I have a concern or question all I have to do is pick up the phone and they do everything possible to help. You have valued employee's that care about your customers. We showed up interested in a specific car and left with a different car that fit us and our budget. The help that Craven had given us on the lot was professional and much needed. When we stepped inside the store we met with Chris, he was a big help trying to fit a vehicle into our budget. I was so impressed with Crenshaw Hyundai!! It had been 11 years since I had purchased a new car----but, I went in to the dealership knowing that I planned to lease a SUV for the very first time. The employee that helped me was so knowledgeable about the produce!! I told him how much I could afford each month, and what I had in mind, and he was able to make it happen. I went for a test drive and I was truly hooked!!! I have enjoyed my new "Tucson" so much I wish I had gotten an SUV years ago!!! Not only was the employee that sold me the SUV so knowledgeable and friendly, the lady that helped with the contracts, insurance and title change was as well. Everything went so smoothly----not painful at all. I was also introduced to the head of the service department. I was really so impressed with all of the personnel that I came in contact with. The personalities of all the employees were so pleasing and they seemed to enjoy helping people. You do not find that quality very often in the public sales. Even though I am a lady they never once acted like they didn't want to talk to me. Very friendly and helpful with all my many big and little question was not pushy. I drove 4 cars or more and they said drive more take your time. when I finally picked the one I wanted they made it there goal for me to be able to get the car and at the price I wanted. The staff here at Crenshaw was very friendly and helpful, I first met Tony about a month before our purchase when I had visited the dealership to find out more about the Elantra, as it was at the top of our short list of selecting our first ever new car. I let Tony know that I was interested in the Elantra but not quite ready to buy, he took his time and we went over the car for about an hour as he showed me all the features and options avalible. I left the dealer that day expecting that I would be getting a lot of pressure to come back and buy a car,quite the opposite, Tony checked with me a few times over the next few weeks and really just wanted to know if I had any questions he could answer. Once we decided that the Elantra coupe was the right fit for us and choosing th se trim and tech package I searched all the local dealers inventory and Creenshaw was the only dealer within a hundred miles that had one. I stopped into the dealership on a Saturday afternoon to see the car that we had only seen pictures of until now, I had arrived only to find out that the car had been sold a couple days earlier and that there were no other coupes on the lot. Tony was willing to call a customer and ask them if they would bring their car back to the dealership just so I could see it, he then found out that they did have another exact car on display at a local shopping center and quickly grabbed a dealer plate and took me there to pick the car,up and let me drive it back to the dealer, I knew during that short drive that this was our next car. Once back to the dealer Tony had another customer that he had set up an appointment with and introduced me to Jeff who would help me out while he was busy. Jeff and I went out for a longer test drive together and I decided then that we could start the paperwork. Jeff then introduced me to Chris who would be helping with the financing and the three of us finalized a deal at about 5:30, I still had to return home to pick up the title for our trade in so we could finish the deal and the dealer closes at 6:00 on Saturday,all involved were happy to stay as I told them it would take about 30 minutes for me to run home and back, they let me take my new car and everyone waited for me, when we returned we met Susan who had all the paperwork ready and explained the warrantys in detail. I think it was after 7:00 when we finished all the paperwork and everyone was still there, Tony had taken the car and filled the gas tank for us and insisted that we bring the car back on a nice day the following week so he could have it detailed and he could spend some time with us going through the owners manual. I am fifty years old and I can honestly say this was the best car buying experiance I have ever had, I highly recommend Crenshaw Hyundai for your next car purchase.

My husband and I purchased a 2011 Sonata on 2/2011 and had an AWESOME experience. Damond our salesman did not pressure us. He just said come get him when we were ready, so we did. My Sonata was getting to small for us, because we have two growing boys, so since we were in the market of getting a new vehicle we went back to Crenshaw Hyundai. On 4/20/2013 we went to Hyundai and dealt with Damond and like last time he and all the staff were wonderful and friendly. We were interested in the 2013 Santa Fe 7 passanger. We test drove a 2013 Santa Fe Limited, because that's all they had on the lot. I didn't need all the fancy gadgets. They searched the web to find what I wanted and found one in Georgia. They went out of their way to find it and also went and picked it up. We had a AWESOME experience again and will return when we need another vehicle. The staff are friendly and kind. I wouldn't go any where else.

I was greeted by Jeff instantly and my great experience started from there. He was very attentive to what i was looking for and went out of his away to make sure i was truely satisfied before i left. My experience was very good. Tony is not the typical "high" pressure salesman. I was able to drive several different Hyundai's over several days. I took my time deciding which was the right choice. Avoid this dealership if you need any service on your car. Terrible results on the airbag recall on my sonata. Had to go back several times to get the issue fixed and it's still has a bulge in my headliner which they claim is normal. Also had a free oil change for my troubles but got more troubles from that. They scratched my car along the right rear into my tire. Now I have a deep scratch and a flat tire. Service manager told me to come back and they will take a look but the GM, chuck, got on the phone and told me not to come back because they can't "satisfy" me. If they want to sastify me then stop screwing up with your incompetent service employees and fix your mistakes. Avoid the dealership completely and drive to Winston Salem. Plus, this dealership tells car buyers to leave a good rating for a free oil change, so don't be fooled.

Our experience at Crenshaw Hyundai was very good. The staff was very nice, if a bit persuasive! :) The young man that we worked with was very knowledgeable. We purchased a 2010 Hyundai Elantra. It only had 18000 miles on it, and so the dealership certified it for us for free, giving us the 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty and a comprehensive 60,000 mile warranty. We were very pleased with this, as we now have confidence and peace of mind that if anything goes wrong, we will have the warranty to fall back on. We were not expecting to have a warranty since we were shopping for a used car. The price was about what Kelley Blue Book said that we should pay for this car. All in all, we love the car and were very pleased with our experience. The staff were great and we would likely go back here when we're ready to purchase another car.

I moved to Burlington and had to find a dealership for oil changes and service when needed for my 2010 Hyundai Accent. The dealership is just excellent. I went to get another oil change and ended up buying a brand new Accent a few months ago. Craven was my Sales Rep and he spent a few hours with me, answering all kinds of questions, showing me cars etc. He was very patient, and very professional and very understanding of my hesitation since I wasn't even considering buying a new car that day. I do love my new Accent though and it was a good decision. Everybody at the dealership is so good to work with: the sales guys, the finance dept, and the service dept. I will continue to take my car to the dealership for all maintenance needed for my car. I do recommend them to everybody.

We had dealt with Crenshaw Hyundai for service on our 9 year old XG350L on several occasions and were pleased with the results. When it became necessary to buy a new car we decided on an Elantra. Our salesperson, Mr. Johnson Ross, was friendly, professional, experienced and very informative. He was our go-between with the sales manager and other personnel (who were also very friendly and professional) . He worked with us and our needs throughout the process - it was due largely to Mr. Ross that we decided to purchase a 2013 Elentra. A week later we returned to Crenshaw and again worked with Mr. Ross in purchasing a 2012 Elantra.Our experience throughout the entire process of buying two card was excellent. On a scale of 1-10, Mr. Ross and Crenshaw Hyundai both deserve a 10.

I recently had regular service on my car. This was done quickly and it was also suggested the tires be rotated. Each time, I receive excellent and friendly customer service. Josh, Delroy & Dennis are great! Thanks for the thoroughness of the service technicians! I had a bad sensor in one of my tires and had no problems in getting it checked and replaced. Craven is always responsive and helpful if I have questions. I would highly recommend Crenshaw Hyundai!!

I visited a couple dealerships looking for a Hyundai Genesis Coupe.None of them had one.Johnson Ross went out of his way to find one for me to check out.He finally got one in for me to test drive. I didn't really like the car.MR. Ross showed me the Sonata and let me drive it.It was more to my liking.I changed my mind about color twice and then changed my mind about interior color.Each time Mr. Ross and another salesman went to work looking for what I wanted.They found it and I was totally Satified.Although I know it is their job to sell cars,It seemed like they really were concerned that I got what I wanted.Mr Johnson went over the car with me and showed me how everything worked.As far as price,it seemed fair to me,however I did not do a lot of price checking.I did not feel pressured but did feel informed.I have talked with friends who have dealt with Crenshaw Hyundai and heard nothing less than positive remarks.I will definately go back if I decide to buy another Vehicle!! Will only buy from Crenshaw even though I've moved to a new town 30 miles away. They are incredibly honest people who I know personally and trust completely. I buy my cars from them and the service department is amazing. Yesterday I drove in at 4:00 pm (on a Friday) with no appointment asking them to take a look at why my windshield wiper fluid wasn't working. They took me right away and an hour later I was on my way home with a new wiper motor at no cost - still under the 5 year warranty!

They didn't have the car i want on the lot but was able to get the one I want there in a matter of a day. Trent took good care of us. He knew what we wanting and the payment I want and they worked it out. Trent didn't try to fill our head with lies he keep it 100. I would buy from Crenshaw Hyundai again.

I had not bought a vehicle since 2002 and needed a new car. I had an idea of what I wanted and a very specific dollar figure since I was paying from what I had in savings, no more. I met Wes and he actually listened to all of my criteria. Then he suggested an Elantra Limited. Perfect choice, met all my criteria. And they even reduced the sticker price to meet my available funds. Even better, the paper work reflected exactly what they promised. Never had that happen at a car dealership. Wes also took a lot of time to show me all the gadgets and offered advise on care and maintenance. Even synced my phone before I left. I should also mention that they went out of their way to find my car, since they did not have one like I wanted on the lot at the time. Awesome experience. And, being a busy mortgage lender, I appreciated the efficiency in getting me in and out the door, no hassles, no mistakes, no bs.

I recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo from Crenshaw Hyundai in North Carolina. I live about 700 miles away in Warwick, Rhode Island. I found the Veloster Turbo I was looking for at Crenshaw on a Veloster enthusiast forum, and knew my girlfriend was making a trip down to Greensboro (the town right next to Burlington, where Crenshaw is located) within 3 weeks. I called them up and spoke with Isiah, who was not only willing, but eager to sell me the car at MSRP. This was fantastic considering that a good portion of the dealers around the US were attempting to mark the car up $2,000 - $5,000 before selling it. Not only was Isiah extremely knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and friendly, but he also agreed to hold my car in the garage until I got there so that no visiting customers could play around with it. They searched very diligently for the accessories I wanted and were able to pull a few strings to get them in early before I made the long trip down. I was running about an hour late and he agreed to stay there with some of his team members however long it took and wait for me. Not only that, but they also gave me a in-depth tutorial of the car and all its functionality. Isiah and his team at Crenshaw definitely went above and beyond to make this sale when they most likely could have sold this particular in-demand car at high markup no problem. Overall, they were a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.My only two (very minor) complaints were that the rug underneath the front passenger seat had a small tear in it, which I noticed shortly after leaving the dealership, and they were also misinformed about the fact that a standard remote start can indeed be installed on this model. They had told me it could not be done since the car was an automatic with a push-button start. I am taking the car to Tarbox Hyundai here in Warwick to have that installed soon.

Going into this situation needing a car and having to handle this alone, I was very upset and I didn't know what to expect! I've always had bad experiences in the past with Dealerships... so, I wasn't looking forward to this. My experience was completely the opposite. The sales team as a whole made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. Damond explaned everything I needed to know about the car I wanted to purchase. He answered questions I hadn't thought to asked. From the hood to the trunk, he made sure I understood everything there was to know about that vehicle. He addressed technical issues, tires and safety, you name it, we discussed it. Thank you so much Crenshaw/Damond for treating me like a person and giving me a great deal on my beautiful car! Everyone in the dealership was friendly and helpful. When, at my first oil change, we realize that my car didn't have nitrogen in the tires, as it should have when it arrived at the dealership, they were more than happy to fix it and even threw in a free oil change for the trouble. I spoke with the owner on a Wednesday morning and told him what kind of car we were looking for and in what price range, and that afternoon, I got a call from Isaiah saying that there was a car that he thought would be good for us. Trent was absolutely great with the deal on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata. He got me the best deal, best financing deal, best price. Everything was great. I went back in today to have the car cleaned up since they couldn't do it on Saturday and he got right on it and kept checking the status of it. I had one issue (could have been me) with the voice command for the radio and bluetooth and Greg Bowes (Service Manager) checked everything out. I wanted an experienced sales rep with excellent Sonata product knowledge. As I had researched and driven most of the equivalent competitors cars to that point I had very specific features I was looking for and technical questions. Jeff handled the sale perfectly. He knew that I had been in the car business before and we quickly developed an unwritten understanding to respect each others knowledge and backgound. I appreciated that he allowed me to go at my pace and answered all of my technical questions. His follow up after the sale has been great. The F&I rep, Jesse, took me through the necessary steps in a very matter of fact, relaxed manner outlining the various options. I was very pleased withe the financing arrangements and the extended warranty I purchased. Jesse even came to my wife's businees in order to get the required paperwork completed. That was impressive. All of the other folks I met including the sales manager, service manager, and parts manager made feel very welcome. I have been asked by a number of friends about the Sonato and where I purchased it. Without reservaton I have recommended Crenshaw Hyundai to them. Well done everyone!!!

The last car I bought, I purchased brand new. I have had it now for 15 years and never regretted buying a new car. A couple of years ago I started thinking about it being time to buy another car. I could not find one I liked. I had noticed the Hyundai Sonatas on the road and commercials. As soon as we stepped on the lot, we were approached by a sales rep that not only wanted to help us in deciding on the Sonata but wanted us to be fully informed about the car before hand. He covered everything about the car from one end to the other. I truly believe Trent and Wes wanted to be sure we could optimize every great thing about the car. Chris made the finance part as easy of anything could be. Love my new car, will return to Crenshaw Hyundai for my next car purchase.

Kraven, my dealer did not pressure me into the sale at all. In fact he cared for my wants needs and thoughts. unlike most dealers who just want the quick cash. overall, I was more than empressed with the service and it was really like hangin out with a friend.

I was interested in buying a Sonata hybrid. I contacted the dealership a few weeks ago and from that point on they helped me through the car buying process. Everyone I encountered was friendly and very helpful. I so appreciate that they helped me find a car that would fit my needs as I commute to work about 50 minutes each day. They recommended the Veloster. Not only is this car super cute, sporty, and high-tech, it is also very efficient. Most of my driving is highway and country driving, so not a lot of stop and go, they told me a hybrid would not be the best for this type of travel. On Friday of last week I looked at my MPG AND IT WAS 43.2!! This car is great, and the people who helped me make my decision did an excellent job!! Go check them out for your next car purchase and consider looking into the Veloster!!

My wife and I went to Crenshaw Hyundai to look at vehicles. I had not bought a new car in over 40 years. Jeff assisted us without any pressure. We were able to talk with him with ease and because of him, bought an automobile that day. That is something I never thought we would do as we never do that when we are considering anything with that mush money involved. As a result of Jeff's easy manner we became the owner of a new automobile and are happy with it.

After much thought I decided Hyundai met the needs I had; great gas mileage, comfort (the seat especially supported my bad back), and several features that I was looking for. The salesman and other staff at the dealership were very knowledgable and courteous during my time there. Our experiance with Crenshaw Hyundai was extremly nice and very rewarding!We were greated by Mr. Tony Posey who made us feel welcome and very much at ease, he took time to listen to our concerns and never rushed us into any decisions. Upon discovering that the car we wanted was not in their inventory, they shopped other dealerships until finding the one we were looking for; tuxedo gray with all the bells and whistles. As it was now time to negotiate we thought the gloves would now come off but, to our amazement it was the easiest part of our experiance. We simply told them what we were willing to pay and the monthly payments that we were comfortable with and they found a way to make it happen. Not only did they give us TOP DOLLAR on our trade in but, were able to find an interest rate of approx. 1/2 of what we had been quoted at other dealerships. After all the papers were signed they escorted us into the service department for a personal introduction to the people who would help us maintain our "2013 Hyundai Elantra". I would highly recommend, to anyone interested, in finding a GREAT vehicle with EXCEPTIONAL gas mileage to Crenshaw Hyundai for a different car buying experiance.Sincerely,Vickie Young

I wanted to purchase a new 2012 Hyundai Tucson LTD for export and had all along been in contact with Chris Moore in order to negotiate a deal. When I finally went back yesterday to finalize the price minus sales tax/highway use tax, I was met by an ignorant, arrogant fool whose name I don't remember, who kept insisting that there was no way I could get a vehicle from their dealership without paying HUT. I left the dealership and contacted DMV, North Carolina Department of Revenue and a car dealership with many years experience in motor vehicle export, and was told I could purchase any vehicle in the state of North Carolina without a title, and the dealership only had to issue a so-called MCO (Manufacturers Certificate of Origin) that would enable me to avoid the HUT. Armed with this solid info, I went back to the dealership today, but was met with a display of ignorance, arrogance and suspicion from the staff, to the effect I was told in no uncertain terms, I might as well look elsewhere for a deal as there was no way Crenshaw Hyundai could sell me the vehicle without paying HUT. I've now made a deal with another Hyundai dealership for much less and without having to pay HUT.

I got a quote from Crenshaw that was significantly higher than several competitors. When asked why their MSRP was significantly more expensive than the MSRP calculated on the Hyundai website, the sales manager told me in an email that "Those msrp and invoice don't figure destination fees. That is the fee that is added to the invoice to get the car from the port to the dealerships. The reason they are not included on the website because they are different all over the country. It cost more to get a car to New York than it does to the North carolina and the fees different in each region." In case you're not aware, the freight charge that's calculated in the MSRP is specifically for transport within the US. The cost to ship the car from the factory is part of the invoice price the dealer pays. Any additional "destination fee" added to the MSRP is also known as "extra profit." What does it take to earn my business? Start with not lying to me.

I owed a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder (which I loved) that needed traded in on a new car. I really wanted the Elantra and had a very hard time finding the one with the color and interior I wanted. I stumbled upon Crenshaw, made a phone call, and they kept in contact (with no pressure) until they found what I wanted. My 2009 Hyundai Accent (23,000 miles) had battery problems twice, battery would just die for no reason, had to be jumped. Drove it to Crenshaw dealer where I'd bought the car, for full diagnostic, but battery tested ok, having been charged by the drive from Carrboro to Burlington. Was advised to have car towed if battery problem happened again. August 23rd, had same battery problem and had car towed to nearest Hyundai dealer. Battery was still under warranty by two days, having bought the car Aug. 25, 2009. This was disputed, however, by the Crenshaw dealer service department person I spoke with on the phone, saying that the car had been in service since Aug. 22, 2009, the date they got the car and so 'there was nothing they could do' and I'd have to purchase a new battery, being late on warranty by one day (except I wasn't.)I told Crenshaw serviceman 'Bill' that this was unacceptable and he still refused to OK a new battery. The Sport Durst Hyundai dealer, however, after some thought, decided to replace my battery under warranty, and washed my car as a free service!I was severely disappointed in Crenshaw's response for their unbelievable runaround and 'nothing we can do' attitude, so I give them the lowest possible rating.

The reason for this review is to warn every person that is thinking about buying a new Hyundai to go somewhere else. First, our salesman knew absolutely nothing about the product he was selling. I knew more about his product just from internet research than he did. The sales manager was very very arrogant. My wife and I had just been through bankruptcy so we felt like we didn't have a lot of choices of where we could trade vehicles. Second, when we got home and looked at the papers good it appeared we had been the victims of 'bait and switch' because the final price on our contract was nearly two thousand dollars more than what we were quoted, and we had our quote in writing. Feeling like it may have been a simple mistake we went back and showed the sales manager the apparent mistake. He tried to tell us we didn't know what we were talking about, but numbers don't lie. He refused to even try to understand our position. Third, we decided to write a letter to the general manager, thinking surely he would reasonable. We made no threats in our letter, none. His reply was very aggressive. Among his reply was the line, "you need to watch who you accuse of cheating". Sounds like a threat don't it? Fourth, they have little stickers beside the MSRP sticker. When I asked about it the sales manager told me that the federal government makes them put them on. I have since talked to a salesman at Sports Durst in Durham. He told me Sports Durst don't use them and the dealers that do only use them as a way to jack up their profits. I will never darken their door step again. I hope you will take my advice and shop somewhere else.
