My family are loyal Subaru owners, so when I decided to purchase my first car my father and I ended up at Crews. Rhett Crull greeted us when we pulled up and immediately showed us what we were interested in looking at. Rhett was wonderful, he showed us many used models and explained all of the different packages and prices. My father and I left the dealer to grab lunch and discuss options, and ultimately decided to return and make a purchase. I called Rhett to let him know and when we returned he had the car cleaned, fueled, and all the paperwork set up to begin. Overall it was a great experience!

Overall this car buying process at Crews is handled in a very efficient process and one that does not pressure the buyer into making a decision. I worked with Robert and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and did not mind answering my many questions. My only complaint is that I have quickly learned that the vehicle fluid levels had not been maintained and keyless fob will unlock but not lock the doors even after replacing the battery. I guess I should have looked a little closer under the hood and locked the doors after completing my test drive.

The whole experience was top notch from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Millett really made the whole thing very pleasant, and even the used car manager came out and helped. The deal they offered, including my trade, was fair (based on True Car and Carguru) and Pam had everything ready for me to sign. I purchased a used Subaru with one little nagging flaw which they readily agreed to fix. Millett and Matt set-up an appointment in service for next week. A warranty on the engine and transmission was included at no charge. I hope the car will last a long time.

The service and the attitude of everyone I encountered was excellent. My sales consultant Robert really made the experience. Robert was knowledgeable, patient, and intuative to the priorities driving my quesitons. As it turns out, the right fit for me was a different vehicle than the one I came in considering, asked a million questions about, and test drove first. We were at the stage of talking price and Robert was calm and perfectly willing to stop and get a Forester for me to drive. When I did, I got that "oh, this is right for me" feeling and from that place, making decisions on options, price, etc. is easy and quick. My need to buy a new car came up suddenly, and while I had been leaning towards Subaru based purely on liking the look of ones I see out and the Subaru reputation, I had not actually done research. Therefore, the fact that I walked in, asked questions, drove 2 different types of Subarus and was able to make a confident decision to purchase all in a few hours...that really comes down to Robert. Along with answering a lot of questions, Robert really conveyed the attitude (which I felt everyone in the dealership putting forward) that quality products don't require a really hard sell, and that pushing someone into a decision they don't feel comfortable with afterwards isn't a great reputation builder.

From the first meeting with Ralph at Crews Subaru to driving away with my new Crosstrek, it was a delightful stress free experience. The new touch screen and essentially paperless system was fun and a heck of a better way than the old way of pushing paper back and forth. After much research, I had decided to buy a Subaru Forester. I got a reasonable price over the phone and started the financing application on line Saturday, Ralph Hunt called me within an hour of my submission. I explained my desire to come on Monday to check it out. Monday was the last day of 0% interest. Ralph met me at the door, we talked about my wants and deal breakers.. He introduced me to Josh and made sure I got the deal I wanted. After price agreement he handed me off to Pam who handled all the financing details. She was friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. You can tell she enjoys her job. With papers signed the car was sent for clean up and Ralph reviewed all the options, manuals, and contacted my insurance. Once the car was ready Ralph carefully reviewed all the features of the car while sitting in the car. He made sure everything was right, even moving the cross bar so it didn't interfere with the panoramic moon roof. Great experience all the way thru. Thanks, Tracie, Ralph, Josh, and Pam for making my Subaru dream a reality

I traveled 200 miles to purchase my car from Crew in 2015 and again this year 2016. The internet sales staff and Sales people are fantastic. I sent them a list of what I wanted and they sent me a vin# and time it would be in stock. I arrived before opening to check out their lot and was impressed by the amount of selections they had in all Subaru models. I was in and out of the show room with a new car in less than 2 hours. Would I go back again? YES! With no hesitation. Crew's Crew deserves more than 5 Stars!

After reading the excellent reviews of the Forester in Consumer Reports, my wife and I knew before we arrived at Crews Subaru what we wanted to test drive. We met Millet DeAngles as we arrived, and he took us directly to the Foresters. He had a thorough knowledge of Crews' inventory which was extensive..After choosing our Forester, we went inside to discuss the purchase. The dealership's facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. I had forgotten placing a fraud alert on my Equifax credit report about five years ago when I saw an account I didn't recognize, so we had to make another trip back to complete our purchase after removing the alert from my report. Millet had our car saved for us before we returned, There was another couple there wanting to buy "our" car, but Millet gave us first right of refusal. Pam Baker made the financial decisions easy and helped us get what we wanted at a price we could afford. We love our car and Crews Subaru.

Overall, my experience at Crews Subaru was excellent. They were attentive, friendly, and thorough. Trey, the sales rep we worked with, was patient and super helpful working with Josh to get our payments where we needed them to be. The only negative was the fact that before coming in i called to specifically ask whether they had the ability to coordinate my lease turn in with Hyundai. That was very important for me to know as my husband and I were simultaneously juggling the purchase of a new home/mortgage so time is at a premium. The sales rep I spoke with on the phone (not Trey!) told me unequivocally that yes that could and would do this. I never said anything about trading the hyundai in, rather very specifically discussed my lease end situation. It wasn't until I was signing my new lease paperwork that I learned they could not coordinate with Hyundai. Fortunately Pam and Trey made things right but others be forewarned...only the lessee can turn in the leased vehicle. Thanks to all at Crews subaru though...I LOVE my new Forrester and will probably be a customer for life despite that small hiccup.

The salesman that helped me, Barry, was very helpful. We made our deal in 15 minutes or less and the rest was just signing all the paperwork. I thought I got a fair trade-in value for my car. I may have picked up more money by driving elsewhere in the state but there is something to be said for keeping your business local. I have bought a new car or truck every year for the last 25 years. That has given me a good prospective from which to assess the process. The Crews team made the experience quick, accurate, and painless. Carmelo brought me through the final paperwork with ease. We reside in the Savannah, Ga area. Our son was interested in the 2016 BRZ and we took a family road trip to Crews Subaru in North Charlotte, S.C and were NOT disappointed. We were greeted by Rhett who was warm and friendly. Rhett easily answered all our questions and was very informed about the vehicle. My son test drove and loved the car so much that he traded in his beloved Mazda 2007. The transaction was hassle-free and we got a great deal for our trade in too!!. We had been looking for a used Subaru Outback Premium with All Weather package for the Michigan winter. We found Crews through Car Gurus and Linda worked with us to secure the vehicle we wanted. Even though there was local competition they stuck with us to closing the deal. They even took additional photos of the underside of the car since we couldn't physically be there. The whole experience from start to closing was very positive and Linda's friendly demeanor and impeccable Southern hospitality shone through from beginning to end. Great dealership with a friendly professional sale staff.We came in to look at the Subaru's and decided to purchase a 2017 Outback. Drove it to Florida that weekend and really enjoyed the smooth ride and Eyesight driver assist on the interstate. Gas mileage was very good also. Its a beautiful fun to drive vehicle. Everyone at the dealership we talked to was friendly and helpful. We worked directly with Jeremy Brooks and Pam Baker on the purchase, Jeremy is very knowledgeable about Subaru's and took the time to go over all of the Outback features in detail, giving us a thorough tour of the vehicle. I was told that they only had one automobile available, which was in possession of the manager, but the manager was on vacation. I was told that if I ordered my second choice of vehicle, a Limited V6, such vehicle that it would have to be ordered by me and that could pose a problem. When I was given an estimate on my automobile (2009 Honda Accord EX-L V6 (47000 miles) they allowed $9000 as a trade. A Toyota dealer offered $2000 more on a competitive automobile. Iit appeared to me that the salesman and the manager showed little interest in selling me a car I wanted. I am glad I made the decision to not deal with Crews Subaru. Subaru just lost a prospective customer. Considering they are the only Subaru dealer in Charleston, maybe they thought they had a monopoly on the market.

On 7/30/16, we purchased a 2017 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited. I am retiring in a few years so we thought we'd get a vehicle that we had confidence would stand the test of time. But drive it and get a first-hand look at all the great features offered and you will be hooked. I love it! It had everything we wanted including a large rear interior to store our gear. This is truly an exciting vehicle.The Sales Staff"Robert K. was the sale rep we dealt with and we couldn't have been more happy. He was an easy-going, no-pressure guy who answered all our questions, be they about mechanical, electrical or style issues. We arranged to purchase a vehicle that was due in August with a deposit of earnest money. Robert then helped me to file applications with the Finance department so we could streamline that process. When a few short days later Robert called to say our Outback had arrived, we were elated. On the day we bought the car, Robert took the time to go over the Outback features in detail, giving us a thorough tour of the vehicle and going over the User Manuals. We got an excellent overview of everything. It was clear-cut, understandable and fun! To echo a previous reviewer, I agree that he was super friendly and was extremely knowledgeable about the dealership, the Subaru brand and the specific model car I ended up with. It was a hard sell for me, as my attitude was that the Nissan Maxima is hands-down the best sedan ever made, but it's only taken a few days to make me a believer in the Legacy as well. As indicated by the title, this was the best experience ever when it came to purchasing a vehicle. We dealt primarily, in order of appearance, with Linda, Ralph, Jason & Pam. Each with their own responsibilities they worked together as a team. There was no pressure, no sense of tension between sales reps as in other dealerships, no endless back and forth about the numbers. The staff appeared to genuinely respect one another and help one another to make the entire process seamless and flawless. There were no unnecessary delays in negotiations, they were genuine in their willingness to be the best hosts possible. Our purchase? A used Prius V we found online. It was a two hour drive from our home to the dealership but the staff made it all worthwhile. First contact was with Linda Breedlove who responded to my email inquiry. She did great research for me in answering all my questions.Why am I writing this review? While researching vehicles online I also checked the reviews on the dealerships. The reviews about Crews Subaru were very positive and led me to them. My hopes are this review will also lead others to Crews so they can experience the same genuine caring we received in making our purchase. 5 Stars all the way!

This was the second Subaru Forester we have purchased from Crews Subaru. We walked in knowing what we wanted, having seen it on their website and received the best price available. There was no pressure to purchase extended warranty, however they were offered and explained. We walked in with our own financing, but Crews was able to beet that. Over all excellent service. But I would expect nothing less because of our previous experience.

The sales staff were all very welcoming and our particular sales person never seemed bothered at all by the fact that we were still in the decision-making phase of car-buying. He always took his time with us and was so helpful during each of our 3 visits to the dealership. He was even patient and pleasant when we brought along our 2 large dogs to "test-fit" them in the back of a Forester.The internet sales associate was also helpful in answering questions about various vehicles that we spotted on their website.We initially planned to buy a new model but were fortunate enough to end up with the current year's dealer loaner, which had extremely low miles.The finance staff were also very customer-friendly, as well.All around, it was the easiest, fastest car-buying transaction I've ever been through. This will be our first stop for our next vehicle purchase.

I have a mixed review. The Internet Sales Rep, Tracie was excellent in emailing and relaying info regarding their pre owned car sales. Jerry, the sales manager, was also terrific in his representation of Crews Subaru. In fact, he was the redeeming grace after my awful experience with Rhett, the salesman. Rhett came off as very personable, at first. I drove a Civic and did question him about a crunching sound I heard during the test drive. He assured me the CV joints had been inspected. After buying the car, the sound was very noticeable. I contacted Rhett the next day and he asked Jerry if they could fix it. Jerry was very agreeable. The car came back and still crunched. I contacted Rhett again. He responded in a demeaning, chauvinistic and insulting manner. I sent my friend down with the car and Rhett continued to unleash his attitude on them as well. He is the stereotypical slick salesman and I would not want anyone else to give him business. If Jerry had not stepped in, I would have been a satisfied customer. Subaru does seem to want to earn your business but Rhett is not a trusted car salesman to deal with.

This is the second Subaru we have purchased from Crews Subaru, our other vehicle is a Forester.We were able to test drive and purchase our 2016 Legacy over the memorial week end. We made the choice of purchasing the Legacy after reviewing all the information we could find on how this vehicle rated against other vehicles in this category. My wife was very excited about all of the safety feature the car has. We both love the driver assisted Eye Sight System, which will help us stay in our lane and give us the comfort of not getting to close to the car in front of us. Completing the paper work was a snap with the new computer system that Crews Subaru has installed. Actually there is no paper as the system is all paperless and I was given a flash drive with all of the documents.. It is a very comfortable and quiet vehicle.

The entire sales staff was at my disposal not just my sales representative, Robert K. When Robert was busy with another client or off a day I came in for "another test drive" other staff, including but not limited to Josh, Linda Jeremy and Trey, were available to answer my questions, give me literature or take me out for a drive. Robert was excellent explaining all the features of the car. Jeremy reviewed some of the features for me and helped to make me comfortable with "new technology." They worked together as a team which was very much to my advantage. Linda was very helpful when I called in and Robert was not there.The literature provided let me know exactly what products Subaru had available and pricing. I felt very comfortable with my purchase.My Subaru Forester Touring model has a lot of features. They have all been explained to me by various staff but It will take me time to learn to use them all. We are long-time Subaru owners, with our 2000 Outback and 2002 Forester both logging over 250,000 miles, so we we had no question about what brand we would be returning to for a new car. They are great vehicles, and we had kept up with the reviews. My older, beloved car was totaled when a tree fell on it, and I was heartbroken. I had test driven several comparable models, but didn't have a 'connection' with any new car or salesperson who made me feel comfortable until I traveled from Beaufort to N. Charleston to visit the Crews dealership. Tired of driving a rental, and short on time, I had decided that I would tell the first salesman who approached me that I had found the car I wanted to see online, on their lot, and I needed to decide quickly if that was the one for me or not and move on. Luckily, Robert Kozakiewicz was the salesperson to approach me, and he was friendly--not pushy, informative, accommodating and very understanding about my situation. I test drove what would become our new family car, a 2016 certified pre-owned Forester. Robert actually listened to what I really wanted in a car, and was careful to point out things about the Forester that fit into the category of what I was looking for. We were having a great visit during the test drive and I LOVED the car! He assured me as I had to leave that he would do all he could to help me get that particular car if my husband checked it out and liked it, too.Just a couple of days later, I returned with my husband, who had a bunch of questions for Robert, and he answered them all to his satisfaction. They ended up hitting it off, too, and what could have been a stressful few hours was a pleasant car buying experience. Miss Pam in the financing office is a PRO, she's great! Coming from other Japanese cars, my expectations are high. Acquaintances and consumer ratings recommended the Subarus so I visited to try them out. Jeremy patiently showed features, took my son and I on test drives, taught us how to operate new features, etc. I was particularly interested in the collision avoidance (Eyesight) feature. Jeremy showed us that it will truly slow and stop the car, if the driver doesn't.Josh, Linda. and Pam also were helpful and professional in helping me through the business end of price and features negotiations and the business of selling the car and putting my license plate on it before I was ready to leave.Service consisted of hitch installation and recall evaluation, which was well done. Even parts was involved in coming up with a missing plug for the hitch.

To say that the folks at Crews Suburu and I ran a few marathons to get me in the car I've wanted the past year and a half is an understatement. For different reasons there were many occasions over the past 18 months that I was ready buy a Suburu Crosstrek but was unable to. At every step of the way, Tracie, Josh, Trey and the entire gang at Crews were with me and supporting me until, finally, a few days ago, I got my Crosstrek ! I consider the folks at Crews to be my dear friends and would love to do anything for them because of their kindness and patience with me. So, maybe this is my opportunity ? I looked at other cars in the final week of decision. There are alot fine SUVs and small SUVs out there, so it was not a slam dunk until I realized that throughout my 'shopping', 2 things were very clear. First, I was comparing every vehicle I drove to the Crosstrek. Secondly, I never felt any trepidation about walking in or making an appointment to talk or drive the Crosstrek again. I don't know about any of you reading this, but there is a certain feeling I get as I walk into most dealerships and they are valid feelings. I feel a need to protect myself. Never at Crews. So, after driving other great SUVs at some of these dealerships, I realized that I loved the Crosstrek by quite a bit over the other options AND I felt like I had friends who have my back at Crews. The bottom line for me was and is Crews has the best product and my back. Thank you !

From the initial contact with Tracie to taking a test ride with Jeremy everything was very pleasant and low key. They had a car I wanted to see. They showed it to me and answered all the questions with absolutely no pressure. We looked and left. I received an email soon after thanking me for my visit and offered to answer any other questions I might possibly have. A few days later I got a notice online of a price drop on the car. It was a great day at Crews Subura! My husband and I knew in advance that we wanted an Outback but had never been inside one, much less driven one. Several family members own Outbacks so we took their advice and checked it out. Well, I got pretty darn excited as I learned the many amazing features on this car--unbelievable! It looks and feels like a major luxury car and it is except the price is nowhere near the prices on "those other" cars! Jeff was so good to work with. Gave us all the facts, explained the workings of the car very well and then took care of the business. We were very pleased in every way. Pam was so quick and efficient as she handled the closing. I made an initial visit to just get an overview of the Outback and Forester, as I had been in a car accident and was not ready to drive or purchase the car at that time. I actually priced new Subarus the same way to get an idea before I went to Crews to look at models and colors, not really intending to buy. They made the process so pleasant and enjoyable I let them give me a price which ended up very closely comparable to the buying service's price and I ended up buying.Crews Subsru defies any preconceived notions you may have about car dealers. We were shopping for a new car, and met Michael Driscoll at Crews Subaru. He listened to our wants and needs, and showed us several choices fitting our description. He let us test drive, and feel how good it is driving a Subaru. He explained the various packages, so we could decide which was better for us. Goodness, what a wealth of information Michael is! He knew what was included in each and every package, and was so very knowledgable about everything Subaru had to offer. He did not pressure us, and we felt quite comfortable asking many questions. Sometimes we would ask the same question over again, and Michael would patiently explain the options again. Once we had made our decision, he introduced us to the members of the Service Department. Both Matt Davis and Mark Taylor were quite friendly, and congratulated us on the purchase of our new Subaru Outback. We even enjoyed our dealings with Pam Baker in Finance. She, too, was knowledgeable about the options offered for our extended warranty and paint protection. Still, Michael took a great amount of time explaining the various handbooks, and physically showing us how to work the numerous levers and buttons. He was very patient showing us how EVERTYTHING, from our heated seats to our cruise control to our stereo worked. EVERYTHING! He also gave us his phone number in case we forgot anything. We were simply totally and positively impressed with Michael! On a scale of 1 to 10, Michael Driscoll is a 10+.

This was our first car buying experience in 12 years and, though we knew we wanted a Legacy, so many safety and infotainment advances had been made we needed guidance in our purchase. Our salesman, Carmelo Vazquez, was not only professional and knowledgeable about every system in the car, he was a 'no pressure' guy, which we really appreciated. He answered all of our many questions and with the assistant manager, Josh Stringer, they found us exactly the car we wanted. I took my 2016 Subaru WRX into Crews Subaru December 30. I was loosing air in two of my four tires. They took my car back quickly (I was the first appointment of the day). After looking at the car they told me I needed a new tire because the nail was to close to the sidewall to patch.I said ok and gave them the go ahead to order the new tire for me car. The service center guy said the new tire would arrive around 10 AM the next day and they would call me immediately to come in the next day and have the tire replaced. The day comes and no phone call. I call around 3PM to give them time and ask what the status is of the tire. One of the service counter employees told me that the guy handling my car would call me back immediately and that he left a note on his desk. It is now January 20th, over 3 weeks later and no call. This dealership is a complete joke. After two weeks and no call I took my car to another tire center who found that TWO of my tires were damaged and NEITHER of them needed to be replaced. I ended up purchasing 4 new all season tires anyways because we were moving north and I had summer tires.Crews Subaru is the worst dealer and service center I have ever dealt with, and I recommend anyone considering their services to look elsewhere.

Ralph Hunt, Pam Baker, and the head of trade-in vehicles (I apologize as his name leaves me at the moment) were the best team I've worked with in a seven car purchase history. My husband and I bought a vehicle five months prior and had severe buyer's remorse after a month of owning said vehicle. From the moment Ralph walked up to us at the dealership we were treated with respect and a relaxed sense of assistance. Ralph is polite, knowledgable and professional. He listens. When we said we had been test driving vehicles that day and were there only to obtain research by driving smaller family cars he obliged with every request. Not once did Ralph press me for purchasing information- e.g. Did we already have financing, were we trading a vehicle, etc. Instead, he talked me through my want list. I wanted the right feel in a smaller family vehicle- my husband the right size and price. We returned a week later and purchased a brand new 2016 model off the show room floor after Ralph insisted that they pull it out so that we could drive it and make sure it was just right. It was, and we're elated. We love our new car and will keep the dealer sticker on the car as we're proud to say we purchased our vehicle from Crews Subaru.

We were due for our first oil change with our Subaru and I called first thing in the morning and spoke to Matt in the service department. He said that he would be expecting me when i arrived and he would drive me to work so they could service the car. When I arrived I didn't have to wait at all for Matt to take me and about 45 minutes later Matt called to say the car service was completed. Matt told me that he would have another gentleman follow him to my work so they could bring the car to me instead of me having to get a ride back to the dealership to pick it up. When Matt arrived with our car he told me that they changed the oil and did a tire rotation which was part of the service and they even ran it through the car was for us!! That was an excellent surprise and it was greatly appreciated!! You don't find many companies or service departments that go the extra mile for the customer just because. Subaru of Charleston has some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. We recommend them to everyone we know!!

My wife and I recently purchased a 2016 Forester 2.0XT Touring and a 2016 WRX limited from a different dealership. We Started our search at crews subaru with the WRX. Ralph showed us the car and took us on a test drive. After we sat in the waiting room for a few hours waiting for the sales manager to contact another dealer to make a trade on the car we wanted we left and he said he would call me as soon as possible with information. We told them we would order a brand new model if he couldn't make the trade. The next day I call in to check and he says xxxx call me soon because his manager is checking back. No call since then (its been over two weeks now). The sales manager tried to make up some story about the difference in dealerships, but my experience spoke for itself.

I bought a 2016 WRX Limited in Ice Silver from Crews Subaru in North Charleston, South Carolina on 10/30/15. We paid for the car out right. The experience was nothing short of excellent.During the two months before buying the car I visited the dealership twice. Before I came to the dealership in person I corresponded with Linda Breedlove via email. She was wonderful and helpful and she arranged for me to test drive a Forester the next day. My salesperson that day was Trey Norwood. He was polite, knowledgeable, and personable. There was no pressure applied to us to buy the car after the test drive. We left the dealership because I had more research to do about the car we wanted. Linda was in contact with me through reasonably frequent email communication and was available to help us when I needed it. I came to test drive a WRX about 2 weeks before my purchase and again Trey was so friendly and did not apply any pressure to purchase when I said I needed a couple more weeks to decide.On the day of purchase my wife and I again test drove the WRX I ended up buying. Trey was patient with us, allowing my wife and I to converse between ourselves before entering the show-room to work out the numbers. During the actual sale process there was the usual back and forth but the staff at Crews Subaru was reasonable and respectful. Jerry Peters the Used Sales Manager got involved because he was acting as sales manager that day. Jerry was cordial and bright. When we finally got to the number everyone was happy with the rest of the process was fast. Several staff at the dealership (whose names I didnt catch) came by and shook my hand and congratulated me, stating The WRX is such a cool car, youre going to love it! We met the service manager Jason Parish who gave me the rundown on the first necessary services as well as the break-in procedure for the WRX. He also told me the no-no's that would void my warranty (flashing the ECU).This makes the second car in my life Ive bought new. This experience at Crews Subaru was outstanding. Each staff member was kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. I dont ever plan on selling my WRX, but if I do I know there will be another great experience buying the next one at Crews Subaru.

I would rather go to the dentist for a root canal than visit a dealership to buy a car. The people at Crews Subaru changed that perception. After finding an Outback in their inventory online, I contacted Linda Breedlove for an internet quote. We did not have to sit down, then bring in the sales manager etc. She emailed a fair price. My wife and I went to the dealership that afternoon with the idea of putting a deposit on a car. I had financing with my local bank and had someone interested in buying my old car.The salesman, Carmelo, and a manager asked if they could show me what they would allow me for my car and the rate they could offer. No pressure, no gimmicks. They did not sell, they presented what they had to offer. We drove a new Outback home that afternoon. I highly recommend Crews Subaru.

I owned a used Subaru (which I did not buy from Crews Subaru) for about two years before it spontaneously caught fire while I was driving it one day. It was a horrifying experience and put me without a car for a couple of months. Insurance elected not to investigate the accident stating that these things happen by complete chance. Crews Subaru was the last place to service my car before the accident, and after approaching them about what happened, we negotiated an amazing deal on another used Subaru. It's almost the same as my old Subaru but with much less mileage! I really appreciated the customer service I received from H.R. Hicks, the service manager, as well as Anthony Cargile, my service agent. Both were diligent, professional, and easy to work with. Judging by this experience, I would definitely come back to Crews Subaru to buy another car, but I hope I won't have to any time soon!

Without a doubt, one of the best new car buying experience of my life. From the moment we made the first call until the moment we arrived and parked in one of the conveniently located "Guest" parking spots, it was all good. There was never any sales pressure, only helpful counseling and answering of our questions.Mr. Ralph Hunt was our sales advisor. Ralph listened to our needs, helped us consider models, and soon we were on a test drive. This being our first Subaru product, we were quite taken with all of the engineering and technology packed into the new Outback Limited. We decided that the Outback Limited was going to be our next vehicle, so we placed a deposit on the next Outback Limited scheduled to arrive in our chosen color...Tungsten.When we arrived to take delivery of our new Outback (about a two week wait) Ralph spent an inordinate amount of time with us inside the new vehicle, helping us to understand many of the features. Afterwards, we had an opportunity to meet with Pam and work through the financial and other aspects of the transaction. Crews utilizes state of the art touch-screen forms and video information exchange that aids in speeding-up the financial segment of the process. Pam makes it all easy, seamless, and enjoyable. After this segment of the transaction, Ralph accompanied us to the Parts Counter and to the Customer Service area while introducing us to the many employees in parts and service that are there to take care of customer needs. Everyone we met at Crews appeared happy, positive, courteous, and seemed to possess a desire to ensure that we as customers received the care and attention a new owner would expect.I will be 60 my next birthday. I have had the opportunity to purchase many cars over time. But I will emphasize again that this experience with Crews was probably the best yet. Couple this with an exceptionally engineered automobile and you have a winning combination that is very difficult to beat. It's great to be part of the Subaru family!

I've been a Subaru driver for many years, so when it was time to trade in my 2002 Forester for a newer model, the whole experience was an easy one. My wife and I are longtime Honda owners and with a longer commute wanted to look into buying a car that was good on gas and more comfortable than the Fit we'd been driving. My months of investigating pointed us not to Honda, but to the Subaru Legacy. It seemed to be an amazing car and exactly what we were looking for. Our planned first step was to just actually see the car which we did late one afternoon when we went to Crews Subaru and ran into Rhett Crull on the lot. With no pressure at all, he showed us the car in the short time we had to do so. In a couple of weeks when we were ready to get serious, I gave Rhett a call on a Friday afternoon and he met us bright and early Monday morning. We went through all the expected stages of buying a car, starting with taking it for a spin etc. It was clearly what we wanted. Because the Legacy is so popular, it's hard to keep many on the lot so they didn't have the color we wanted. No problem, several people worked hard and found the car in the color we wanted and had it there the next day. Linda Breedlove did a great job taking us through the necessary paperwork and on Wednesday morning we arrived to pick up the car. Rhett Crull did an thorough job walking us through all the many features on the Legacy and assured us it would be okay if we needed to call him back. I've bought a fair number of cars in my life and always hated the pressure and gimmicks. None of that at Crews! I've never had such an easy time of it and would certainly recommend Crews Subaru and the amazing staff there to anyone looking to buy a car.

The entire experience, from driving onto the lot to driving away in our new car was wonderful. Rhett was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful, but never pushy. We weren't really sure what we were looking for, but Rhett asked the right questions to help us narrow down our choices. About a year ago my wife had an accident and was unable to drive either one of our cars (both had manual transmissions). I traded mine (she wouldn't give up her 2014 Miata) for a SUV with auto trans. We were in the process of moving to SC so for the last year I've been driving the SUV. My wife has regained the ability to use her clutch leg again and both of us like to drive manuals (yes, even in traffic - we lived with the Wash DC metro traffic for 15 years). I considered the GTI but since we've owned a WRX and a WRX STI (& a VW R32), we drove to Crews to check out the WRX. Rhett Crull met us as we drove up and was the perfect professional all the way through the process. We drove the GTI prior to the WRX and although it was a nice car, the WRX generates far more excitement for us and of the three Subaru vehicles we've owned, all have been extremely reliable. We drove our 2016 WRX home last night.

Our search for a new small SUV took us all over metro Charleston and into a variety of scenarios. After much research, our first choice seemed to be a Subaru, but we wanted to be fair to ourselves and just see what else was on the market. Some of the other available products seemed possible choices, but, when it came down to dealing with the salesmen and financial officers at those "other" dealerships, Crews Subaru had no competition. Our salesman Ralph Hunt spent nearly two days helping us try different models, patiently fielding our many questions and walking us through the buying process. No pressure, just friendly customer service. And so nice to deal with ONE knowledgeable and attentive individual than the double and triple-teaming that happens at the "other" dealerships. We knew that if we got this great treatment at the beginning, the rest of our dealer/customer relationship would probably be as good. So we bought a 2015 Crosstrek with confidence and look forward to enjoying it for years.

We saw an ad for a Land Rover which was my daughters dream car. Two years ago when we were first looking for a small suv, that was her dream car and I told her you better make a lot of money or marry a rich guy. My wife and daughter saw the car on a Saturday and liked it. They held it for us until Monday when I could see the car. It was reasonably priced and came with a lifetime engine and trans warranty. My only disappointment was when I found out it only came with one key. A new key will set us back $408, well worth the price of my daughter being happy after a devastating accident that will impact her for the rest of her life, both physically but more so emotionally. This vehicle will allow us to sleep at night, knowing she is driving a tank, just like the FJ Cruiser that saved her life. I was really and I mean REALLY impressed with the electronic document signing in Pam Baker's office. That was really impressive. And a big thank you to Ken French, who helped my wife and daughter on Saturday and Margaret for recognizing my other daughter on Monday.

I came into test drive the XV Crosstrek in the middle of May and I loved it. Scott was available to answer any questions I could of had, but he was not pushy at all. I had researched the vehicle significantly prior to going in so I had no questions and it was pleasant not to be assailed but the sales staff. They just got the keys and on the road, while driving he asked again if I had any questions about the features available on the vehicle. I appreciated that this was not a persistent bantering just a quick check to see if I had thought of anything while test driving. When I had finished my test drives of both the Manual and CVT transmissions I simply told him I would be back late May or early June to purchase. He asked politely for my contact information which I told him I had already corresponded with the internet sales person, Linda Breedlove and he said great. Follow up emails were not overwhelming, and when I was ready to purchase I told Scott & Linda via email exactly what I wanted and within two days they had set up for a dealer transfer for the color, trim, & accessories I requested. The price was fair and within the "good" window of the Truecar.com estimate for the vehicle as delivered. With the additional expense of having to send a driver to pick the vehicle up with the dealer transfer was great. When I came to purchase the vehicle, the paperwork was extremely quick. I HAVE TO SAY THIS AGAIN, because I bought another new vehicle recently and spent about 3 hours waiting for all the paperwork, Pam was extremely quick going through the paperwork!!! I was in and out the door within 45 minutes and it would have been faster if I had not changed my mind about the extended warranty. Because it was a dealer transfer I had to wait till the next day to pick it up, but when I did Scott was available to answer any questions which I still did not have and as he saw I was ready to go. He gave me the keys and said "Well I will contact you in a couple days to answer anything that comes up since you clearly want to get out the door." The entire experience from test drive to purchase Crews Subaru's staff was cordial, available, and most importantly informative without being pushy. GREAT Experience I would definitely purchase from them again!

We just bought a new Outback. Anthony Cargile was our salesman and expertly guided us through our decision of which car to buy. Then, after the car was serviced and ready, he offered to drive it to our home in Mt. Pleasant( my husband doesn't drive, so I was expecting to have to wait another day to find a friend to drive me to the dealership to pick it up). As I drove him back, he gave me a great lesson in the finer points of the car. And, I think that this must have been on his day off, because he told me that he had no other agenda for that day and when I asked if it was his day off, he just said, "Don't worry about it."

This week, we bought our first Subaru, an Outback, from Crewes Subaru of Charleston. I cannot rave enough about the service we received and the experience overall. After visiting a number of area dealerships and test driving a number of cars, we we getting worn out by the whole car buying experience. Walking onto the lot at Crewes Subaru was like a breath of fresh air. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was friendly and knowledgeable, and, unlike many of the places we had been before, they seemed like they genuinely wanted to help us find the right car at a price we could live with. Both Robert and Josh were very patient with us while we looked over the options and made a decision. I sincerely felt like the entire process was straightforward and honest. I cannot say enough about the knowledge and enthusiasm that Robert brought into the sale - he really loves cars and just wants to help you make an informed decision. Josh was very easy to work with and we felt like he made the extra effort to get us the best deal possible. I would absolutely recommend Crewes Subaru to any of my friends and would return in the future for another vehicle; I cannot say enough about how happy we were with the service we received there.

In the last 6 months my husband and I have purchased 2 cars from Crews. He got a WRX and I got a Forester. The staff was wonderful and very responsive to all of our questions. My husband knew exactly what he wanted and Carmelo helped to make sure he got the car he wanted. I had no idea what I wanted and Carmelo was very patient with me as I test drove multiple cars and had to continue sitting in the car to be sure it was correct. Multiple people in the dealership remembered us and stopped to talk and ask how we were doing during our second purchase. Took my 2011 Forester in for the 20k scheduled maintainence, due to the length of the service visit, the service manager offered me a 'loaner.' I went with a newly remodeled 2015 Outback, and it was love at first drive! Got home and told my wife, "You've got to take a ride in this Outback! As much as we love our Forester, it's a world of difference!" Long story short, by the end of the day, Anthony Cargile and Pam Baker had us happily driving home in a beautiful Tungsten Silver Limited? I have owned Subaru's for the last 15 years. I bought my first Outback in 2000 and nine years later traded it in for a new Forester. When my daughter needed a car, I gave her my Forester and bought a new Outback. This is the first time I have dealt with Crews (as I previously lived in another state). The entire experience was wonderful. Trey Norwood is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. No one tried any high pressure tactics; it was a very "low-stress" experience. The financial person, Pam Baker, gave me all the information I needed prior to my purchase, so I knew what my "out the door" amount and monthly payments would be. I can speak from years of experience when I say that Subaru's are reliable and that Crews is an excellent dealership.

I have always been around Subaru's, so when I was finally able to afford a new car and I needed one that was going to last me forever I knew immediately who to talk to. A good friend of mine has worked for the company for many years so I was always exposed to the high quality vehicles and the high quality people who work with Subaru. From the moment I walked in the door it was a perfect experience because I disn't play any of the traditional car buying games with them and the dealership didn't play any with me because I knew I was going to get an excellent vehicle at an excellent price. The staff was friendly but not overbearing, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The only reason I have written this exact review sooner is because I am an engineer amd felt before I commented on the vehicle I should spend some time experiencing it so I I knew what I was talking about (ha). In a word the CrossTrek XT is a dream. The handling is excellent for a wide wheelbase. I get 34 MPG average just driving around, the sound system has a slight delay on picking up the bluetooth on my phone but that is expected, and the sound itself I great with a nice bass for stock speakers. This is a slight shifting delay when initially putting the vehicle into gear, but that is most likely because of the CVT adjusting the torque to gear ratio after shifting from reverse, but it has never been a hinderance. I am going to enjoy this car for the rest of its life, and whenever anyone I k of is on the market for a new subaru, I am going to point them in the same direction as the one I took.

It's very rare that I buy a new vehicle, so buying a car doesn't come second nature. My wife and I visited Crews in January to test drive a Forester. Although we were not ready to deal but were in the shopping phase Jerry was very helpful and informative as well as friendly and not overbearing. Then a month later we decided that the Forester would best suit are needs. When we visited Jerry the second time, he made the car buying experience, including price negotiations, very pleasurable, easy and relatively quick. Car dealerships normally make me nervous and overwhelmed. I knew I wanted to purchase a vehicle but was unsure of the type and year of vehicle that would best suit my needs. Upon arriving I was instantly greeted by a sales representative and before I knew it, I was in the process of my first car purchase. The entire process was very simple and quick and the price and service was AMAZING! I have never felt more comfortable making such a big purchase in my life. Both employees that I worked with ( Carmelo Vasquez and Pam Baker) made me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed during the process. We even discussed our families with one another. I would without a doubt recommend these two as well as the entire dealership! Keep up the great work!

Not words normally used to describe a car buying experience! I knew I wanted the new Outback, but absolutely dreaded starting the whole process. I dreaded it so much, I made my husband make the first point of contact. Linda answered all of our questions promptly and without pressure. I decided to make the trip to North Charleston to start the process. From the moment I walked through the front door it was FUN! Working with Robert and Pam was like being with friends! They immediately got to work finding an Outback that suited my needs and budget. I left feeling relaxed and taken care of...not taken for ride with head spinning like previous dealer experiences. Pam made the financial paperwork easy-breezy. We were actually laughing! When I went back to pick up my new BFF, Robert was ready to teach an old lady new tricks. He explained all the bells and whistles and synced everything up for me. Although he knows far more than I could ever comprehend, he explained just what I needed/wanted to know. I drove away looking forward to visiting again when I am due for maintenance! Wait, what? When does anyone say THAT?? Thank you guys for making a car buying experience what it should be...FUN and SIMPLE!

I recently came in to look at and price a new WRX. I was paired with Ralph and let me tell you, he is a easy going and easy to talk to guy. He was very knowlegable about the vehicle and was not pushy at all to sell the car. I test drove it and during the 15-20 minutes test drive he knew every detail about the vehicle. When we got back to the dealership we went over the buying details of the vehicle and I feel I received the best deal and out on top. At no point did he say No we won't or can't do that and I even expressed that I wasn't ready to buy it that day. I walked in the next day ready to buy and the deal stayed the same. There were no hidden agendas and I feel Ralph had my best interests in mine not his own! I will recommend this dealership to anyone and if I find myself buying another vehicle down the road these guys will be my first and only stop!

A test drive of the 2015 Outback confirmed all the desired improvements over my 2008 Outback, and a review of the optional trim levels indicated the Limited would meet my requirements without any unnecessaary features. The people I worked with were quite helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. In particular I found Pam to be quite good at her job and conducted her work with much professional efficiency in completing the financial aspects of the sale. I don't normally buy extended warranties but I came away with one this time and only hope it serves me well. My only complaint with the deal is that I lost several hundred dollars because Crews does not participate in the Costco Auto Program, but then Trey and Robert helped mitigate that loss to some extent and I thank them. I look forward to many happy miles in this car.

I have needed a new vehicle for a while, although I had no intention of purchasing one for about a year or so...Until I met Ralph Hunt, who then introduced me to the 2015 Forester XT (Touring).....with Turbo! It was all I ever wanted and more. Ralph was great to work with, not pushy and rather amusing at times. The test drive was fantastic, he was patient with me as I had him explain over and over the way each item works. He wasn't even phased when I gunned it a few times (without asking) to test the power of the vehicle. The features of the car, like Eyesight, are amazing...very cool to see during the test drive, yet even more amazing in real life. Pam was great and full of smiles (and patience) while I hemmed and hawed over the warranty options. The next day I stopped by with some paperwork and had the chance to meet the service team, everyone was all smiles as well. Great customer service all around. I love my purchase and am so glad I decided to stop by that night. The best part - there was no pressure at all. Just answers to my (many) questions. Thanks Ralph!

I've now bought 2 cars from Crews Subaru. The staff is wonderful, from sales, services, to finance. I worked with Anthony Cargile as my salesman and he is a lot of fun! Anthony really tried to show me my options and was very patient as I test drove 5 cars! I ended up getting a 2015 Forester and I am really pleased. Internet buyers should be cautious. Contrary to my experience at this dealership in 2013, my recent purchase Jan 2015 prompts me to consider that this dealership is now more interested in a sale than cultivating customer loyalty. The ePrice I obtained, which I concluded was pre-negotiated, was accompanied by the statement: Internet Price does not include sales tax, tag, and fees which are $763.00. Prices good for 10 days. One therefore would expect a firm sales price. What they didnt include in this statement was that the price was subject to dealer add-ons, such as crossbars and body side moldings. Had that been disclosed upfront, this could have been a five-star rating. Front end Salesman Millet Deangles was exceptionally cordial, helpful, and of pro-customer demeanor. Administrative paperwork was handled superbly. Had management not withheld pricing data or included an appropriate statement with the ePrice, I would not be leery. The latter prompts me to wonder what after-sale (service) surprises are up their sleeves.

I recently stopped by to take a quick look at the Subaru XV Cross Trek. Josh came out and introduced himself and showed me a few of the models they had. He was very knowledgeable, easy going, an all round nice guy. I never felt pressured by him. Even though I was not going to purchase a car that day, he took his time and even took me on a test drive. I wasn't planning on buying a car let alone a new car! Ralph took his time with me and he was so knowledgeable about both of the cars I test drove. It was a great experience. I was a little concerned about the trade in process but HR made it seamless. Pam was great to work with, she answered all of my questions and had a sense of humor too! I visited Crews 3 times before buying my new Subaru. Each time the sales staff was excellent. Millet Deangles was very helpful and knowledgeable about the cars during my first visit and led me through the closing process on my third visit. He was helping another customer on my second visit, so Ralph Hunt filled in admirably. I was really impressed with how the sales team worked together to service the customer. I also thought the sales manager was great. The fellow responsible (don't recall his name) for negotiating my trade-in was the only negative experience for me. His initial offer for my car was significantly below what I had been offered by another dealership and well below the average trade-in market price. His attempts at initially justifying it were lame and his attitude condescending and belittling when he finally increased his offer.

It was Tracie, the on-line customer service representative that got me to come to Charleston initially. But then Jacob, our Salesman made my car buying experience so pressure-free that he didn't have to sell me on the product all he had to do was be honest and be nice...which he did! I had done my homework and knew the reputation of Subaru but the dealership restored my faith in car salesmen and the car buying process. I ended up ordering a 2015 Outback.... Here's the deal, if you want a quality vehicle, a quality team of professionals, then you will find your way to Crews Subaru of Charleston. My beautiful bride and I were greeted by Mr. Anthony, a stand up guy. We explained we were on the hunt for a vehicle, Subaru was on the list of many to test drive and we explained what we needed in a vehicle and Mr. Anthony took over from there. If you don't know Mr. Anthony you should make a point to, one of the most genuine down to earth souls we've ever met. He could have cared less if we bought a car be it new or used from him, he was more concerned about our needs in a vehicle. Zero pressure and lots of information, I think we could have test drove every car on the lot and he would have been happy to help us until we found the right one. We found the right one thanks to Mr. Anthony's help. He was/is very knowledgeable and made this an experience to remember in a good way. I was given the task of researching cars to decide what would be the best fit for our family. After online research, I visited Crews just to get a feel for the Outback. Anthony was friendly from the start and really heard what I was saying about where we were in the car-buying process. He offered lots of information and, of course, a test drive, but didn't pressure me to do more than I was ready for. I returned a few days later to drive the Outback and was convinced that it was the car for us, but still needed time to figure out the money part. Still, no pressure from Anthony. Last week, I went back, hoping to be able to work out a deal that would work for us financially, but ready to wait if needed. Anthony worked with me and the finance guy to get a price that we could afford. I drove away in the Outback just over an hour later. I never thought I would be able to say that I enjoyed a car-buying experience, but I love the car and I enjoyed the interactions with everyone at the dealership that I met. Being treated with respect goes a long way.

My wife and I went into Crews Subaru to look at a used Elentra GT. My wife normally doesn't care too much for a sales person to ride with us on test drive. Well Jerry has nailed customer service and the overall feeling of the dealership is positive. I loathe car salesmen, finance people, and the entire process of purchasing a car. Until I met Josh. He never once pressured me. Let me do my own research and gave me time to think. When I was ready to make my purchase it was his day off. He came in on his day off, after the dealership closed to make sure I got what I wanted and was happy. Gave me his cell number and checked on me several times to make sure I was still happy. I LOVE my new Outback! Josh made the entire process wonderful. He needs to be promoted at once! Josh you should teach a class on how to be a great salesman and person! I wish you were in a business where I would have to see you more often (can't be buying a new car all the time)!

Stephanie Monson is the sunshine after the rains. She steps out of the North Low Country, and with a distinct Swedish brogue, "Hey, I'm Stephanie. I understand buying a car is an expense, and it should also be a pleasant experience." That it was, Stephanie, that it was. Annie and I had two requirements: gas mileage and true off-road 4-wheel drive with adequate towing capacity for a small boat and gardening, compost etc.. Ford, Honda, and Volvo were out, only all-wheel. We were trading in our Toyota Sienna, a good car, our friend. So, it had come down to a Jeep, another Toyota, or Subaru. Stephanie had owned a Subaru before she moved here from the real winters of the North County and started saling them. She let the car speak for itself. After driving a 2014 , the only decision left was whether to wait for the newly designed 2015 Outback. We did.The 2015 Outback's engineering, the attention to every detail, is the equivalent to Lee Iacocca's Mustang and Toyota's integration of a minivan body onto a Camry chassis, our Sienna. This automobile is not only a pleasure to drive, Subaru has not missed a detail. And Crews Subaru? When the first model hit the lot, Stephanie called; when none had a trailer hitch, Pam Baker promised one the minute that they came in, and Jason Parish in Service delivered (and there everywhere behind the scene facilitating was Josh Stringer). Crews is a crew--my experience, from the first day when Pam Baker came out and said she had to be at her child's play but Stephanie could close up to the trailer hitch at a thousand miles, my experience has been not words but deeds. Stephanie Monson is a woman of deeds. The 2015 Outback, go drive one. Yea, go see Stephanie.

We have been thinking about a new car for several months and carefully did our research about cars. The Subaru Forester was one of the cars high on our list. We test drove the others on the list and then came to Crews Subaru. The car met our expectations. The salesman,Anthony Cargile, told us he was going to take care of us and he did, He showed us several models, explained the different features and the got us a great price, One thing that I really liked was meeting the service department people when we bought the car, giving us the feeling of personalized service. I had been looking for the perfect vehicle for 9 months and many different dealerships. I almost decided to purchase through Carmax because of the no haggle sales guys. After reading rave reviews on Subarus I decided to try Crews Subaru of Charleston. My salesperson Millet Deangles was very knowledgeable and respectful as well as listened to my needs, not the least bit pushy. He also delivered my car to me at a remote location during his business hours when he could have been selling. I purchased a 2015 Forester on August 22/2014. I brought my eldest daughter along for backup since I had already been to two other dealerships (in Summerville) and had an appalling experience with their sales teams. Anthony took care of us and was extremely patient and polite and answered all of our questions. We visited the dealership twice prior to the purchase and the absence of high pressure fast talk was what made me come back to Crews when I was ready to buy. After consulting the national safety ratings my wife and I decided on a Crosstreck for our daughter. My wife has an internet business and we utilized all websites with Crosstrecks for sale to find the best price and warranty. We used carguru, carmax and other seller sites that had vehicles listed in SC and NC. I live in Charleston SC and after negotiating with several dealerships in SC and NC I was resolved to buy a used 2014 with 1500 miles located in Spartanburg SC when I decided to call Crews Subaru of Charleston. Crews beat the deal in Spartanburg with the exact new car with only 17 miles. At first I thought that they were going to get me into the dealership for a bait and switch but that was not the case. Salesman Jerry Peters looked me straight in the eye and delivered what he promised when I arrived. He showed me the car and made sure it met my daughters needs and let us test drive it as we desired. He allowed the vehicle to sell itself. There were no pressure sales tactics. I was very pleased that there were also no unexpected issues arising during the sale. I've bought over 12 cars in my lifetime for me and my family members and this dealership delivered on their word. I got a new car for my daughter cheaper than the used car I found on line with absolutely no hassle. This dealership knows it has a good brand of cars and they live up to their word.

We first visited Crews Subaru of Charleston in February to look at a new Outback. My wife was very interested in this particular vehicle and Trey Norwood was our sales representative while we were looking. After we test drove the car and did a little more research at home we discovered that a new model was going to be released this year around July. We were in contact with Trey to let him know that we were interested in the new model whenever it becomes available. Trey assured us he would let us know when they would be rolling in. We had full faith in this process and when they became available we would get a phone call telling us to come on in and check them out.July rolls around and we are constantly checking the inventory that you carry to see if the 2015 Outbacks have arrived. We finally found them in your inventory and decided to drive up on a Sunday to just check them out on the lot because we couldnt make it in at any other time for that week. At this point we expected Trey to call us at anytime to let us know the new Outbacks were available to come on in and check it out. Nobody called. I guess if your not buying in the immediate future your gone and forgotten.We decided to come up on a Saturday and check them out. We walked in and Trey was busy with another customer so at that time we were introduced to Ed Roberts. Ed was nice that day showing us the new Outbacks and accommodating our request to look inside of a few different ones. My wife decided she wanted some options on the Outback that you didnt have on your lot. We wanted a loaded with every option white Outback with light leather interior. We just didnt want the 6 cylinder we wanted the 4 cylinder. So after we were given offers on the Silver Outback that you had on your lot with the options we liked my wife decided she would just wait to get the color combo she wanted.Our plans were to trade in a 2004 Toyota 4-runner with about 125,000 miles on it. We were the only owners of this vehicle for 10 years and it was in great condition. The appraisal came back at $7500 for our trade in. After a little negotiation your staff decided they would come up to $8500 for our trade in. We were also negotiating the price of the Outback as well. The package we selected MSRP was about $34,000. Ed went to someone in the front of the building at that point and spoke with a manager that agreed on the price of $32,000. So we were set! We were getting the price and the trade in value we wanted. Now Ed insured me that he would be looking all over the southeast for our Subaru. If he couldnt find it over the next week he would be ordering it for us. Either option was fine with us.So, a few days roll by and we dont hear anything. My wife and I discussed our options at this point and decided that we have waited 4-5 months already what is another 60 days or so if we wanted to order one. So I called to speak with Ed again about ordering the vehicle. I couldnt get him on the phone and when we finally did speak I told him we wanted to order the Outback and I reiterated our price and trade in value. Ed assured me that this part of the deal was solid and done. We just need to get the car Ed said. Ed told us he had never ordered a car before so he was going to have to check to see what he had to do. The next day rolls around and we didnt hear from Ed. I called the dealership to speak with Trey at this point hoping that he had little more experience and could speed along this process. So I spoke with Trey and he assured me that we didnt need to order anything. He said there will be a flood of these new Outbacks hitting the southeast over the next couple weeks and he could snag the one we are looking for from another dealership and have it to us much quicker than ordering. So now I felt like Trey was on it and was going to work with Ed to make sure we could get our car asap.A week or so rolls by and we didnt get as much as an e-mail or phone call to let us know how the process was playing out. So I decided to start researching all of the dealerships in the southeast for this particular Outback. I found one in Gainesville, Florida and called to talk to Ed or Trey about this particular car. I was able to get in touch with Trey a little easier so I spoke with him around 10am in the mooring. He said that some executives were in town from Subaru so it might be a little slow going as far as seeing if he would be able to get the car from Gainesville. So I told him to please find out if it could happen and we had spoke with Ed the day before about just coming up and ordering the Outback anyway. Ed had told us to come in after 3pm because he had a delivery of a new Subaru to a doctor that just purchased. Told him that works for us.So now we are headed to the dealership with hopes that Trey could get the car transferred from Gainesville and if not we were going to be giving a deposit that day to order our new Outback. We showed up a little earlier at 2pm than Ed wanted us to. When we arrived Ed, Trey, and several other guys were sitting out front on a bench and standing around talking. Trey started to walk in and Ed kind of stared at us as another salesman asked what he could do for us. I told him I am here to speak with one of these 2 guys pointing at Ed and Trey.First thing I wanted to ask Trey was if we were getting the Outback from Florida. He said he had not had a chance to look into it yet because of the meetings. So 5 minutes later Trey spoke with someone somewhere or looked something up. He came back to us with we dont even trade with that particular dealership. Okay sounds good, just dont know why he waited until we walked in the door to find out the information. Now we are going to order. Trey and Ed speak with someone up front and came back to us with the price of the car and the trade in value they were going to offer. The price of the car went up from $32,000 to about $33,400 and the value of our trade went to $7,500. When this was presented I was extremely frustrated! We had already agreed on the price and the value of trade, so why was I going to have to go through this process again. Told them what was agreed upon last time and they went to the person in the front again. They came back with the car being at $32,000 and the trade at $7,500. Had I not shaken someones hand and had this agreement with Ed, which he even now was telling me that is what the agreement was he just couldnt do anything to make it happen.So, I was done! I wanted nothing else to do with this dealership or any Crews dealership for that matter. This could only be indicative of what was to come in the future with this dealership for the life of the car. My wife and I walked out and told Ed that we would not buy the car from them and to call us if he could come back to his original agreement. We never heard from Ed, Trey, or anyone representing your dealership after that. To be honest after our experience that is what I expected, sad to say. I was trying harder to sell myself a Subaru than the salesman that actually work there.Since this happened, I listed my 4-runner on auto trader and cars.com. Within 1 week I sold the car for $11,000. Not saying that is what I would have wanted in a trade but your appraisal department may need some additional training because they obviously could not see the value in my car.After the car was sold we went down to Fred Anderson Toyota and looked at a new 4-runner. We met Jeff Lenz who was more than happy to accommodate any of our requests. We finally decided on a 2014 4-runner limited and we were going to have to order it because we wanted 4 wheel drive. Jeff found one and gave us the time frame as to when it would be in. We agreed on a price that involved no negations, Jeff simply asked what I expected to pay and we got our fair price. We were excited to buy the new car now that not only did we find the car we wanted but the right dealership to bring our business to. During the waiting time Jeff called to give us updates on the cars arrival and also texted throughout the process with information we needed or requested. I called Jeff several times to ask some specifics and every time I called he answered the phone, at work at home it didnt matter he was our salesman and was going to what it took to make us happy. I couldnt have been happier with our experience with Jeff, he went above and beyond.Do we have a friend in the car business? I have been researching new vehicles for months and was down to a Mazda CX-5 or one of the Subaru wagons. I had been searching for an Impreza Sport for more than six months, thinking that a used one with a bit of mileage would be in my price range. After looking all over the country I thought I would just have to wait realizing that once people get them they don't really sell them or if they do the price doesn't come down much. I went by Crews more than once looking and talking to Millet Deangles and decided to at least drive one to make sure I was waiting on what I really wanted. There was never any pressure this was definitely the car I thought it was. We have owned Subaru's in the past so my heart was set. Another dealer had a sport they could bring down from Charlotte for me to look at, so I went back by to see Millet. Crews was able to get me in a BRAND NEW SPORT for about 2000 dollars more than the 2yr old one with 25,000 miles I was looking at. From financing with Pam to emails with Tracie and the integrity of Millet I could not be more satisfied with the staff and customer service at Crews Subaru.

My husband and I have debated on replacing my old worn out car for quite some time. We had a bankruptcy and are rebuilding our credit. I filled out the online finance application in hopes of getting the cheapest outback they had. Josh gave us his personal cell phone, always answered our questions and worked hard to get us a better car than the one we had. Well, he didn't get us the 2007 outback we were looking at, instead for a better rate and a modest amount more, he put us in a beautiful 2013 outback! Then the icing was, Pam, worked harder and when we finally walked in to look at the car she got us a better finance that allowed us to get all the additional coverage and still save us money! These people didn't have to work with me over the phone for 2 days to get me what my family needed, but they did and on top of that everyone was friendly to not only me but my children. We were in and out in less than an hour! They got a loyal customer for life with me!!!!!

I expected the salesman to have a little more follow through on the car-buying process but after the price was settled, he pretty much vanished. We were thanked about 10 times but it was left up to me to call and ask about the accessories that were part of the deal, when that really should be been followed up on by the salesman. The accessories were back-ordered but instead of having the Parts dept. call me, the salesman asked me to call and follow up after a few days. I didn't, because I wanted to see how it would be handled. Thankfully, the Parts person did contact me to let me know when the accessories "should" arrive but I still had to call days after that time to see if they actually had arrived. They were sitting there waiting on me to call, I guess. I scheduled an appt. to have the accessories installed but unfortunately that didn't go well either...that's a different topic so I'll refrain from detailing it here. The sales experience was in no way horrible but the ball was definitely dropped once he got his sale.

I have been in the market for some time looking for a Subaru. I did a lot of research before going into the dealership. Being a new buyer I really didn't know what to expect. So I armed myself as best as I could with all the knowledge I could find in regards to car buying. However, when I went to the dealership I really didn't have to be so on guard. As soon as I was greeted they were nothing but helpful. No pressure. No tactics. No gimmicks. Just plain old fashioned "How can I help you?" From then on it was smooth. The only problems I had were on my end; I needed to find all the necessary information to purchase the car. Shortly after that I was driving off the lot with a brand new Subaru WRX STi. I've wanted a subaru for a long time now and I'm still excited about finally owning one. However, it seems that most of the reviews I've read are regarding the sales team. I think they are all good reviews because Subarus sell themselves. And they are all new car sells. I experienced to careless mistakes, on my used car purchase, that could have been catastrophic failures. When I got home after picking the car up and was showing my friend the engine, the cover over one of the pullies had falling off completely and was about to be sacked up in the belt system. Then I had to put air in the tires and one of them had a huge gash in the side wall and has to be replaced. The sales team was super quick to respond to my emails when they need a sale. Now that there's a problem I have heard anything back from them. They are lucky I really like this car.

Millet was great. Completely no pressure and got us exactly what we wanted.Have you ever gone to a dealership and just weren't sure if it was a good deal or not? What did you get? Usually the full court press, your sales guy walks away to "talk to the dealer", the 3 different sales folks come over, then the manager/owner/director ALWAYS comes over and says: "What would it take to get you in that brand new car today?" which always ends up being a bad deal.With Millet, we came in, we test drove two separate cars. We were going back and forth over trim levels, and just didn't want to spend so much on a car. So, like any good buyer, we walked away. The real question was, what did Millet do? No pressure, just said: "Just think about it and give me a call when you are ready?". I don't even think he thought we would be back. We went, grabbed a bite to eat, checked all of the Subaru dealer inventory across the state, and determined that we actually didn't want two of the higher end options after the test drive. The car we did want was at the dealer. What brought us back that day? The fact that there was no pressure to BE back that day.The dealer gave us a great deal on our trade-in, most likely having to do with Millet, and we were sent to Pam for financing.I have NEVER been in and out of a dealership as fast as Pam and Millet got us through. Usually it's a 5-7 hour ordeal. If you count test driving two cars (around two hours), negotiating, financing and taking possession of the vehicle, we were there only 3.5 hours. So, basically 90 minutes after we had decided what we wanted we were leaving with a new car.The financing portion with Pam was great. Incredibly quick. She also helped us out to make sure our auto insurance was all set and correct.Overall, an amazing job and easily the best car buying experience I have had in my life.

My wife and I had settled on purchasing a Subaru Outback based on superior performance, reliability, and safety as reported by Consumer Reports(CR). We used the "Build to Buy" program through CR and then visited the dealer for a test drive to ensure compatibility with the model chosen. Anthony did a great job finding a car with the features we wanted (the color wasn't available from the lot) so that we could test drive it, explained the features of the car, and really gave us a good feel for the Subaru product. Anthony listened to what we wanted and arranged to have the exact car we wanted transferred from another dealership within 2 days. Once delivered, Anthony explained the operation of the car carefully. Settling on the price was painless with Anthony since we had already priced the vehicle through the Build to Buy program and Anthony had the certificate. Pam did a great job explaining our financing options - we had been cleared at our bank for a rate higher than the Subaru rate so we asked the bank to match it - which they wouldn't. Pam efficiently processed the paperwork and had us out the door at a very low interest rate. Both Anthony and Pam worked as a team to make our buying experience pleasant and efficient - they know their stuff! I recommend these guys to anybody looking to purchase a Subaru.

I have given Crews 5 stars overall because they deserve it. I came just looking to see what the 2015 WRX looked like in person and I was greeted by Ralph. After taking me to show the ones they had in stock he offered to let me take it for a test drive and after being asked if I was sure a few times I finally cracked and said yes.The following weekend I came back in to see if they could find me the exact version of the WRX that I wanted. After a lot of searching (4 surrounding states they were able to track down one 2 hours away at another dealership. After taking the night to ponder it over I came monday and we put the paper work in motion.2 days later the car was on their lot and the keys were in my possession.Ralph was an excellent, very low pressure salesman. All he really did was introduce my new Subaru.Pam has to be the best Financial person in all of Subaru as she managed to get me 2.9% on my loan for the car (With little Credit).I will be recommending them to everyone in need of a new car!

My previous experience buying cars involved tense moments of back and forth between me, the sales person, and some finance person in a back room somewhere. At Crews everything went well right from the start, and I kept waiting for the hammer to fall once the numbers were discussed. But the numbers were presented as transparently and as straightforward as the rest of the process had been. When it came time to discuss financing, I met with the finance person face to face and she went over the various OPTIONS I had for financing and payments. Everyone was friendly. Anthony went above and beyondhe even returned my other car whose lease was up back to that dealership and made all the phone calls to the insurance company, etc. The other salespeople were also nice. When I filled out the loan application online, the internet salesperson immediately sent me a personalized email. When I told her I had already spoken to another salesperson, she told me she would tell him I was coming in and make sure he got the message that I'd completed the application. Pam and Anthony were great. I actually hope I run into them outside of the dealershipthey were that nice and just real down-to-earth people. I cannot say enough about Anthony, Pam, and Crews Subaru. Not to mention, I love my car!

I was purchasing a used Subaru for my daughter who is in school in Charleston, and the transaction was handled via the internet, telephone and mail. Ralph is a consummate professional who was very positive and immensely helpful from the very start. I was only in town for the weekend, and he made my lightning quick buy possible and really pushed it through, even helping to negotiate the price of my 2013 STi down a bit with the manager. I live out of state, and when I ran into some issues about a month later with an unnecessary part purchase (a sport throw shifter from Crews, apparently Subaru puts them in the STi's stock and doesn't tell anyone) Ralph did all the legwork and made sure I got my money back. I'd say he went above and beyond the call of salesmanship to ensure that I was a fully satisfied customer. I'd recommend buying from Ralph -- he'll look out for you even after the dealership already has your money.

I use Consumer Reports as a starting point for all my major purchases and knew going into the process that the Forester was the top rated small SUV according to that magazine (the safety ratings for this vehicle are through the roof). However, I kept an open mind, looked at (and test drove) a number of small SUVs, but the Forester easily made its way to the top of my list as well. Prior to my purchase, I obtained a 'Car Report' from Consumer Reports - on the Forester - and knew, going into negotiations that (according to the report) the dealership's "willingness to negotiate" was low. As an aside, I had pretty much figured that out from my visits to the dealership....one day there would be a dozen Foresters on the lot, two days later they would all be gone. That said, the report provided a number that was a 'good price' for this particular car. I hate the negotiation process more than just about anything else on this planet and knowing that the willingness to negotiate was low, I was really dreading this one. However, all things considered it went really well and I got a new Forester for a price that was very close to the 'good price' quoted by Consumer Reports. I drove off the lot in my new car 5 days ago and felt like I had gotten a deal.I ended up giving this dealership the highest rating(s) I could because I believed they earned it. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Subaru products. ( Special kudos to my salesman - Millet Deangles - who even did some work on his day off to try and help me get the particular color I wanted.) At no time did I feel pressured or that I was being taken advantage of. Having personally observed the demand for this particular car, I was delighted to be able to get it for a price that I was comfortable with.

Buying a car is an experience that I was dreading. I do not like to shop for cars. Generally, my husband and I usually have our own ideas and this presents an added challenge with which I did not want to deal. From the moment we set foot at Crews dealership our experience was positive. Millet introduced himself and asked about our needs in a car. He was professional, directed us to what we requested to look at, answered our questions. He gave good explanations to all of our questions and went out of his way to show examples of his knowledge of the vehicle. Millet did not pressure us to buy the vehicle which we both appreciated. I feel very comfortable with my new subaru and feel that I can come to rely on Cruz for fortune service. Jason from the parts department was also informative and we have used his expertise.Millet is a wonderful professional who goes out of his way for his customers. We would recommend him to our friends without question.

I just recently had the harrowing experience of having to go about the lengthy and stressful process of buying my first new car. I was quite honestly terrified of missing something, overpaying, or being taken advantage of for my lack of experience in this area; however, I was relieved to find that the atmosphere at Crew's is relaxed and friendly. I never felt pressured to decide one way or another, and always felt like Ralph and the other employees were truly on my side--wanting to help me get the car I want. Not only that, but Ralph especially was very patient with my (and my father's) constant calls to check up on my car order status and details, and was always polite and willing to work with us. Particularly after having spoken with a few other less-pleasant dealers (at other dealerships) during this process, I am very thankful for his constant positive and respectful attitude. It was clear he and Josh and the others we interacted with were willing to work to give me the best deals and service--Ralph even came in on his day off to check to see if my car was delivered. Overall I am thrilled I was able to get my car from Crew's--I would definitely recommend them to any friend!

Subaru and Crews Subaru make a WINNING team!!!!My wife and I had been most impressed with on-line reviews of the 2014 Forester. We live in a rural area and we had begun working with a dealer closer to our home - about 45 minutes away. However, while on-line I found Crews Subaru - about 2 hours away - and looked through their inventory list. They had a link where you could request pricing so I responded. Within 24 hours, on a Sunday no less, Linda Breedlove sent me availability and pricing. She followed up the next day with an invitation to stop by the dealership.We were scheduled to be in Charleston that day for other reasons and went by the dealership and met LINDA BREEDLOVE - even on short notice she was willing for us to meet with her. She introduced us to TREY NORWOOD.We explained to Trey our situation and that we wanted to see color options. Even knowing that at that time we were shopping elsewhere Trey was gracious, showed us the Forester features, and took us for a test drive. In the subsequent two days Trey e-mailed us that he was available for questions, etc. His sincere interest, but in a relaxed non-pressure way, began to win us over. What is a little extra drive time to do business with a professional who cares?On a Thursday night we e-mailed Trey our preferred 2014 Forester color and trim package desires. By 10am on Friday Trey had located the car we wanted. He worked up a very fair price right from the start. By 2pm we had a deal! All finalized over the phone and through e-mail without having to make an extra visit.Working with just Trey was a relief compared to some dealerships who involve a variety of "decision makers" before a deal can be struck.Crews Subaru went and picked-up the car that Friday night and had it ready for us to pick-up on Saturday afternoon. So in less than 48 hours we were the happy owners of a 2014 Forester.Trey had his business assistant prepare the paperwork in advance, so that went quickly and smoothly. He had the car detailed and the accessory mats and cargo cover installed. Trey then slowly walked us through all of the operational features. In all, my search for the right pre-owned vehicle lasted about 2 weeks. 2 weeks before I was supposed to relocate out of state for a job. I visited 6 dealerships in all, and I am extremely thankful for not deciding on a vehicle before visiting Crews Subaru. Jerry Peters at Crews knew my situation, and was willing to work with me to settle on the right price. He answered most of my questions, and due to the fact the pre-owned car in which I was interested, which was a Hyundai, not a Subaru, when he didn't have an answer, he was honest about it and brought me over to his desk to research it with me online. I appreciated that.My experience with Jerry was great. He didn't represent the pushy, stalking, or bulldozing stereotype of the typical auto sales associate. He could sense what I was thinking and listened to what I listed as most important. I was impressed enough to confidently recommend Jerry Peters to help anyone shop for their next vehicle.Pam, the finance manager was great as well. She's smart, quick, and runs a tight ship. When my interest rates came in from a few banks, she called one to see if we could do better, and dropped me another 0.5%. When we entered the dealership, we were greeted in a friendly fashion by Anthony. In brief conversation we told him what we were interested in: a Subaru Forrester. Our homework had been done and we came knowing that this particular vehicle was safe, comfortable, and within our price range. Anthony took us on a test run of said vehicle. At this first visit we were not interested in going any further with purchasing the car.We submitted some questions via email which were not answered. We arrived for our next visit with an appointment to have our trade-in car evaluated for pricing. (Not sure who the employee was who did this, but he was receptive to additional information that we had for him regarding our Buick; we believe that we received a fair trade in value). During this visit, some confusion occurred as we had asked for a particular car, color, packages, etc. As there were cars "on the lot" that were not what we wanted, we were asked to consider them for purchase. This was not our plan! Finally, after many "trips" between Anthony and other employees as well as Pam, the car of our choice was placed on order and we made the cash deal (the need to leave a check until our finances were in order(within 72 hours) to insure our "good will" seemed a stretch of confidence from the dealership to us as customers.) The day that we picked up our new Forrester again we were greeted by Anthony and Trey; we took care of the paperwork regarding our trade-in with Anthony. Trey took us through the important features of our car in order that we could drive it from the lot and arrive safely home. His knowledge and ability to answer any and all questions was fine. By his admission, we will have plenty of homework to understand the various systems with which the car is equipped..

Mike Gazecki was friendly and seemed to really want to help me find the right car for me WITHOUT pressure. There were no silly games of running back and forth to the manger to try and get a better price. The facts were presented in a professional manner. Pam Baker presented the financial aspect in a very clear presentation. Both were willing to answer any questions that I had. When we were shopping for cars we looked at several dealerships and at both new and used cars. There were several cars that stood out that we considered purchasing. The level of customer service is the number one reason that we made the car purchase from Crews Subaru. Josh Stringer was fantastic to work with. Unlike others he did not try to pile on the BS. He was very down to earth, knowledgeable (for a non-service dept. guy :) ), and knew who to direct questions to that he couldn't answer himself. Josh was terrific. Very thorough, patient, and embracing. We did not feel any pressure. We felt like Josh was one of our sons (not the one in prison). We felt we got a great deal on our trade-in and our purchase of the BMW convertible. We have already received many, many compliments about my wife's car. I am forbidden from driving her new BMW convertible; but I am being sent the payment books. How does that work ???We would definitely recommend Josh and Crews Chevrolet to our friends and already have done so.Legare was a true professional and informative. Legare was available if needed; but really let Josh do his job and move the deal forward to fruition. Pam did a wonderful job of shopping our contract around and securing the best financing available. The interest rate and term were excellent.Seriously, we could not have been happier with Crews Chevrolet. My only disappoinmment was not getting an autographed picture from Ken French. I think that might have cost extra.

We've been Toyota customers for many, many years but were not happy with the 2014 design. After doing a lot of shopping around, we settled on the Subaru Forrester. Mike Gazecki was an amazing salesman who made the experience pleasant and no hassle. He was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable about the car. What a great purchasing experience I had. I was in a mess from the last Subaru dealership and vehicle I had and needed to get out of it. Alex answered all my questions and knew the Outback like it was his own. Pam took her time, got me the best rate and reviewed with me every piece of paperwork to make sure I was well informed. I visited Crews Subaru with my son immediately after Thanksgiving and by the luck of the draw dealt with Millet Deangles to whom I expressed interest in an Outback. He walked me through its main features, invited me to test-drive the car, and explained the service support that goes with purchasing a Subaru. I was very favorably impressed by his approach, friendliness, lack of pressure, and willingness to listen to what I was looking for in a new car. I returned with my wife after the new year, having decided that the Outback was our new-car priority (looking for a wagon-model vehicle) after checking out online the Toyota Venza and Acura. I also told her that that we should deal with Millet whose card I had. And therefore we asked for him immediately on entering the dealership. Millet was exactly as I had encountered weeks earlier - friendly, totally informed, equally attentive to both my wife and me, never applying pressure, letting us take the lead in describing what we wanted (and didn't want), and behind the wheel showing us the Outback's great features and capabilities. He was never rushed, giving us all the time we needed to look over what was available, explaining various packages and options. He was up-front and open and also flexible and very helpful as we negotiated the price of the car, including our 07 VW Passat Wagon trade-in. I could not have asked for a better experience. This was true also of Pam Baker who was as forthcoming and unbureaucratic as you could hope for as we worked through the paperwork, and I also very much appreciated meeting Jason Parish whose outgoing, can-do attitude impressed me, conveying the sense that we will work well together on servicing issues in the future. In fact, the major plus of Crews Subaru (beyond having a great product) is the positive attitude, cooperative relationships among the staff, the good humor that prevails, professionalism, and team spirit that I observed, starting first of all with Millet Deangles.

Went in for my first "New Car" purchase. I had been looking at used Subarus and was suprised by the overall high resell value placed on the brand, causing me to reconsider my plan to purchase used, into a plan to at least investigate a new vehicle. After a lot of front-end investigation, I started leaning towards a Forester, and narrowed that down to the revised/improved 2014 model. I expected I would be happy with a base model 2.5Xi as long as I could keep the payments reasonable.After getting some internet quotes from Linda Breedlove last week, I decided to take a test drive and investigate my purchasing options. Once I arrived, Linda greeted me warmly and introduced me to the salesman Jerry Peters to assist for the remainder of the transaction. Jerry was very helpful and knowledgable about the brand, answering any of the remaining technical questions I needed to review. The test drive confirmed that I was satisfied with the fit and function of the vehicle, and wanted to investigate the Dollars and Cents details of a possible purchase.The Business side of the transaction moved very smoothly, I was anticipating the dreaded upsells, and hardsells - those never happened. It was a relaxed transaction discussing the very significant pros and cons of Buying Versus Leasing, and how the actual numbers stacked up. This gave me an opportunity to review the ACTUAL numbers, finally deciding to make a slight model upgrade into the Forester Premium, to enjoy the added built-in features. There were no suprises, and all of the intial details I was told proved to be incorporated into the transcation once I decided to lease.I came back the next day to complete the transaction and after some very short and to-the-point paperwork moments, I was introduced to Pam Baker to close the deal. Again, no suprises, no drama... the deal proceeded quickly and the close of the deal went as smoothly as the rest of my experience.I appreciate the entire relaxed nature of the experience, and the professionalism exhibited by all parties representing Crews Subaru. I would recommend the Dealership as well as the people I have mentioned in this review to any of my friends or family if they decide to look for a Subaru or even if they didn't know exactly what they were thinking of buying.

I researched autos for over a year by reading consumer reports and talking to every Subaru owner I encountered. I determined from my research that the Outback Subaru meet all of my requirements from comfort to safety. The most difficult challenge however was to convenience my husband. He was driving a hybrid and thought we should purchase another hybrid to conserve energy. During this year long process each time I needed information to support my case, Ralph would send me the necessary documentation. Finally my husband came with me to Crews to test drive the Outback. After the test drive it was all over but writing the check. He was impressed with the comfort and ease of driving on the interstate as well as the narrow curvy back roads. In addition he could not believe the safety features. We have been driving our Outback for two months and he is totally delighted with the gas mileage. During this "process", Ralph always remained calm, cool and responsive. He never applied the "sales pressure" that we often experience when purchasing an auto. Ralph was friendly and professional. The last several years my wife and I put off buying a new car because we were skeptical of dealerships trying to take advantage of us. We had a couple of horrible experiences during that time but eventually once our family starting growing, we set our sights on a Subaru. I can honestly say the entire buying experience could not have gone better. Our sales consultant was Rick Watson and he has been nothing less than wonderful. We don't know him personally but he was professional, kind and truly concerned about meeting our expectations. The follow up after the sale has been incredible, he constantly reaches out and asks how are things with my growing family, how is the car, are will still happy with it and is there anything they can do for us. After being in customer service for almost 18 years and now working in public service, I can honestly say this Crews Subaru and Rick Watson deserve a 5 star rating because they have exceeded our expectations and have continued this well after the sale. It's a comforting feeling knowing where I'll buy my next vehicle.

We spent a couple Extremely long days shopping Charleston dealers after finding prospective vehicles on the Internet. We knew what we needed and what our budget was. This is the third car I've purchased in my life, first ever Subaru and I absolutely love the car. I dealt with Josh from the start and he was awesome! The guy worked around my schedule and was not overly pushy/annoying about coming in to test driving the vehicle I ended up purchasing. I was able to get in touch with Josh at my convenience anytime of day and he was able to chat. He went above and beyond the call of duty on Saturday when i purchased my Legacy. The dude came in, despite the fact he had a wedding to go to in only a couple, just to show me this car and let me test drive. Not only that, I left the dealer Saturday contemplating purchasing the car. Two hours after leaving I give Josh a call. He's in the middle of getting ready for this wedding and he not only sets me up with someone so I can purchase the car that day, but also worked out getting me an additional $1000 for my trade-in. That is service! If you go to Crews, ask for Josh Stringer. He's the man and will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure you are getting the best service and are happy with your purchase.

I was suddenly in the market to replace a Toyota Prius and was stopping by one (and sometimes two) of every dealership in Charleston. My stop at Crews Subaru was to take a test drive of an Outback, a car I had seriously considered when I purchased my last vehicle. I arrived in the late afternoon, probably looking well done from a day on car lots and test drives. I met Trey and he showed me around the lot - he was low key, informative and answered all my questions. The test drive of the Outback went well, and I went home to sleep on what had been a long day of car shopping.My problem, however, was that on the Subaru lot was my personal car demon - a very slightly used Mini Cooper S. Thankfully, it was a 6 speed, and since I hadn't driven one since college (hint: I graduated in 1994), I was in no danger there. Until I slept on it. So I called Trey back and asked if the car was still available, because, you know... After explaining that I perhaps was a bit rusty with a manual transmission, he didn't even blink when I suggested a test drive in the K-Mart parking lot. One mostly non-harrowing test drive later, I was sold, both on the car and a very good natured and patient salesman. The actual sales experience was great as well. They were patient as my old car was totaled out and I did what I needed to, and then made the paperwork as painless as possible (thanks, Pam!). So would I recommend Crews Subaru? Definitely. All the staff I met were polite, helpful, friendly... it was a very good car shopping experience.

Millet was very informative and thorough. I did most of the negotiating on the phone or email so when I got to the dealership on Saturday morning the transaction was much shorter than the normal car purchasing experience. I am still waiting on parts to come in so they can complete the build I wanted. Thank you Crews Subaru for offering the deal you did to us servicemen. I would recommend Millet to anyone in the market for a small SUV. Give Subaru a look and when you do ask for Millet.

My wife and I had a little time after a social engagement in the area and decided to stop at Crews to look at the new Forrester. We are a bit partial to Subaru as we have had two of them over the last 15 years. All of our experiences with the Subaru dealer in Morristown NJ had been great so we decided to see how the Charleston organiztion did business.On entering we were greeted by Gary Desaultels. From this point on wehad the best car buying experience we ever had in over 45 years of buying cars.We quickly settled on a vehicle, as we were a cash buyer; financing was not an issue. Gary and his management were quick in arriving at a very fair price for our trade in as well as the final cost of the new Forrester. All of this was done in less than two hours, actually a bit after the dealer was to close on a Saturday evening.We returned on Monday and picked up the new car. Again Gary was very helpful explaining all of the upgrades to the 2014 model. He even set up the Bluetooth for my wife.Since buying the car we have had several followup calls from Gary who was inquiring about our experience with the car. I find that such follw up is very rewarding to us.I would certainly recommend ( have already done so ) Gary and the Crews staff to all of my friends as the car ad the buying experience was painless, mostly attributable to Gary's efforts.Maretta and Ed McKenna

Even when the service is great, on customer surveys of any kind I typically don't give the highest rating in every category because I worry that whoever reads it will think I sped through it and was not thoughtful in my rating. My experience with Josh (and Pam) at Subaru MUST be an exception though. I can't give Josh a rating anything less than excellent. From the beginning my afternoon at Subaru was different than anything I have experienced at a dealership. From the start, Josh was knowledgeable without being pushy, offered guidance without hard selling any of the features and was simply a pleasure to work with. He seemed genuinely interested in who I was and what my lifestyle was like so we could find the best option for me. The biggest factor in giving Josh a "great" rating across the board was that I instantly felt like I could trust him. There was no haggling, no slimy tricks. I didn't feel like he was pushing any certain car. He had my best intentions in mind. When we sat down and crunched the numbers, they all made sense! (I can't say the same about 2 other dealerships I have been to recently). Pam Baker, the finance manager, was warm, friendly and extremely trustworthy. This was my first car purchase so I was nervous, but Pam guided me through every document and and every signature, explaining what EVERYTHING meant with care and patience. I really really appreciated her positive, calming attitude. In short, he has a a good product and he knows how to sell it. As far as customer service goes - he was phenomenal and I know he will continue to be during my ownership of the car. He gave me a full run through of the car, showing me all of it's features, where everything in the car is located etc... I purchased a warranty and Josh gave me all of his contact info and told me to keep in touch with him so he can schedule all my maintenance. That is what I call exceptional service!

The salesman and finance manager were very friendly, informative and well-prepared to give the best service they could. The salesman and my wife did all the initial work via Internet because we knew what we wanted and there were few hassles when we went in in-person to finish the deal. Everyone was professional and we had a great experience! I have recommended this dealership to everyone I know who is looking for a car. I love my Subaru!

Millet was absolutely wonderful to work with. He wasn't overbearing or pushy, and he was extremely helpful in getting us exactly what we wanted. We looked at different dealerships in South Carolina and in Georgia and it was because of him that we ended up buying at Crews. It was a pleasure to buy a new car from Crews ! Every aspect of the process was handled with friendliness and professionalism, and most importantly no hassle! I have shopped around at other dealers in the metro area and none treated me as fairly and with the respect you should receive when you are spending your money. It was a not the usual stressful process of buying a car. I feel the when you buy a car and leave the dealership you should feel good about what you just did not wonder if you made a mistake,well I left feeling not just good but GREAT about my car and the deal I just made! Everyone was friendly and the sales people were not pushy. That was a very pleasant way to shop the inventory to find the car that best suited our needs. We found Anthony Cargile very helpful and pleasant to deal with. He went out of the way to ensure that we received the best price. Even though we weren't sure which vehicle we prefered he was very patient with us. The first time we went to Crews was just to sit in a vehicle to decide what we might might consider. We walked in 5 minutes before closing on Saturday and Alex stayed past closing to let us sit in the showroom cars. He gave lots of useful information and no pressure. When we returned for a test drive he had 3 Outbacks ready that met our needs. Through the buying process everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable in their specialty. It was in whole a good experience.

Crew was one of a number of dealers I contacted on line to purchase a new Subaru. They contacted me by email, arranged a demonstration ride and when none of the available cars were what I wanted ordered what I wanted from the factory and I bought that car, my 3rd Subaru Forester. These factors are why I gave the dealership the high rating I did. In addition I have dealt with the service department both before and after I purchased this car and they have always been excellent.

I was in the market for a used Honda CRV. At the time I owned a 2002 CRV that had over 212,000 mi. I was (and still am) traveling a great deal and felt it was time for a newer one (I wanted another CRV, but would have purchased an Out Back if they had one in my price range). I found exactly what I was looking for at Crews Subaru. I had never been on a Subaru lot in my life and fully expected the song and dance typical of Ford, Chevy and even Honda. I had my guard up from the moment I entered the lot. WOW! I could not have been more wrong in my assumption. It is almost like reverse psychology. ha! They offer only quality cars, both new and used, and they know this. It is no accident that their used cars (even my non-Subaru CRV) are in great mechanical condition. They do not brow beat you or try to shove anything down your throat. If during the negotiating you feel the price is still too high they do not treat you like you are a looser. They are polite and professional simply relate to you that due to the cars condition they feel their bottom price is fair (and it was). I gave the Price category a '4' because it was a fair price. If it would have been a steal of a deal, I would have given a 5. When this CRV has over 200,000 and I am ready for another car, I will probably go back to Crews Sabaru and I hope Mike Gazecki is still there. He was like a good friend selling a car. Didn't oversell, intimidate or in any way make us feel uncomfortable or defensive. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Painless, professional, experience. Shopped around for make/model previous year (last bought 10 years previously). Even though we stated we were only fact finding, we received superb help from Mike who was exceptionally helpful explaining the Outback's and Forrester's features. A year later we were back to purchase. Mike took us through the process in short order without the usual dealer nonsense of determining price. While the car was being prepped, Mike completed all the paperwork and introduced us to parts and maintenance managers. This was our first Subaru ( a Forrester), which we had researched extensively. Between the product and our experience with Crew's Subaru representative, Mike Gazecki, we have been very pleased and will be a return customer.

Best car buying experience ever. The new cross trek is the best car I have ever owned. I don't have one bad word to say about the car, the sales team or the finance team. My next car will most likely be a Subaru and it will come from crews. The sales person Mike was honest with me and well educated on the cars. I never felt pressured at any time by Mr. Gazecki. He is one of the few true sales professionals I have met with such qualities. The deal was fair and car price was reached quickly with no drama just a great car buying experience. Pam in finance was awesome. She explained everything very clearly and made sure every I was dotted and T crossed. She even got me a lower rate than Subaru advertised on there web site! Wow This lady is thorough and knows what she is doing.

Had a great experience at Crews Subaru. Josh and Mike were incredibly friendly and took time to understand our needs. Josh was eager to get us in the right vehicle and the right deal. The transaction was easy and fast! We were introduced to everyone from the the manager to the service manager. They display a team atmosphere and all seem to pitch in to make your experience pleasant. Josh worked with us on every level, from the initial inquiry, then the test drive, the paperwork, all the way to the end where he personally showed us everything we could possibly need to know about our new vehicle. It was great working with the same person all the way through. Mike had shown us the Outback several months prior and we were so impressed that Josh made sure to get Mike back involved and the two of them worked together to service us. Great Job guys! Thank you ! We do appreciate how smooth the entire process went and all you guys did! Truly a rare experience for a car dealership. Definitely recommend!
