Logan Jones sold me my GT350 last week. This guy spent his last 5 hours of work helping me get the right deal. Everyone including the GM shook my hand in the end, and was professional about everything. Logan even spent after hours driving my other car 40 miles to my house. Spoke to a salesmen on Tuesday about looking at a truck. Told them we would be driving over from Eastern Oregon to look at it so we wanted to guarantee it would be available. After arriving (6 hour drive for us), we test drove the truck and decided to talk numbers. When the young guy came out to talk, a manager comes out with him and says that the truck was “miss marked” and they had to talk with the big owners to decide “if” they could sell at the miss marked price. He also said their is a disclaimer about their prices that they might be wrong. But I reminded him that his salesman knew we were coming and told us the price over the phone as well as seeing the online price. Also, if I can’t trust your price online and I can’t trust your salesman- how can I trust you?? In less then 5 minutes he was back out there telling us how sorry he was but they would be “loosing money” to sell it at that price. We thought going with an actual dealership, we wouldn’t get the sleaze bag salesman’s but yet here we are. As business owners ourselves you HAVE to honor your price. Disclaimer or not, it’s really bad business to do otherwise. You make a mistake, you make it right. Waist of our time, was of OUR money. Do NOT recommend.

I had Amy Wilkerson as my sales lady. She was absolutely amazing. She gave me all the information I needed and respected my decisions. She was easy to get along with. I had brought my 2 toddlers with me and she was very patient with them and brought them some things to play with. I highly recommend her! Richard Reyes helped me with the rest of the paperwork. He talked me through everything I needed to know. Didn’t try to talk me into anything. He made all the signing a breeze. He was also was very patient with my kids and even put a little show on for them. I had an overall great experience with the people I worked with.

Bryant Dwyer at Damerow Ford service department gets 10 stars. I took my truck in last week without notice due to a check engine light. They could have easily sent me away and told me to schedule an appointment. Bryant took my keys and called me a few hours later and told me my truck was finished. Wow… amazing service. I will never give Damerow Ford my business again. When I purchased my Truck I had issue with the finance manager getting the paperwork wrong and having me come in to pay more for the deal after the sale, to issues with the service department misdiagnosising a problem with my rear defroster. I brought my truck in to have the rear defroster looked at as it stopped working. I had purchased the national aftermarket warranty which does cover anything electrical except windows which is understandable for the most part. The first service visit I was told by the service writer my console switch needs to be replaced. I decided to wait because of the deductible payment. I then had a recall so I scheduled them to also fix the rear defrost. They retroubleshot now to the rear window and told me it would be $1600 to replace it as it's not covered by my warranty. I discussed this with the service writer that it had been tested 6-7 months ago and it was the switch. I called national and they said it's common for the dealer to replace the window because it's easier that replacing parts that have failed. Not sure what to do about that I've decided to pick up my truck. The icing on the cake they wanted $120 for the new diagnosis and it's not covered because of the window being the issue even though my warranty covers electrical and that's what I was told it was before I brought it in. The only consolation was they reduced the diagnosis charge to $90 but in my mind it should have been $0 because I was under the impression it had be troubleshoot before. $90 to tell me something I already knew, my rear defroster doesn't work.. My advice? Avoid this place if you want to work with professionals.

The deal itself took about a week to work out, and during that time, I was not easy on Jeff. But not once, did he waiver from trying to make me happy and get the deal done. He and all of the managers at Damerow worked extremely hard to work this deal out. I was extremely impressed with the persistence of all involved to get me into my new 2016 F-150 Platinum. This dealership truly cares about their customers. I talked with several other Ford dealerships in the Portland area, and Damerow was the only one that made me feel like a valued customer. I had leased 2 other F-150's in Seattle prior to this lease, and I was headed back there before Jeff, and Damerow Ford, exceeded my expectations in a car dealership. Colton Hanson was a great car salesman. He did a great job informing me about the vehicles I looked at, as well as making the process very easy. This was important to me as I am a recent college graduation looking at cars for the first time. The only minor problem I had was when it came to the buying process. I had to be contacted multiple times for information that I had already given the dealership and the customer service during this interaction could have been more professional. I went to Damerow Ford looking for a brand new Truck, Tyler Aimonetto was the customer representative that worked with us on finding us what we were looking for.The whole process was smooth and simple, Tyler took us for a test drive ans show us different F150 models comparing the differences between the models.Once we had our mind made up on the Truck we wanted we worked with him and the rest of the staff to ensure they did in fact have exactly what we wanted.During the whole time the staff was very nice, they answered all of our questions and were respectful of our time and decision-making process.After the whole process was done we got out of the dealership with our brand new F150 exactly with everything we wanted and we are just happy as the whole experience was great.Highly recommend it

We went to 6 dealerships looking for our new car or Truck, this dealership internet person was very rude and unhelpful but we wanted to drive and see the Trucks, we walk around for 30 min before a salesperson come out. He was not helpful at all, he didn't know where any of his cars or trucks where on the lot, didn't really know any THINK ABOUT F250 TRUCKS..JuST keep saying we are the No 1 Ford dealership and we are the best so if you buy from any one but us you will get ripped off and taken for a ride. It really was like buying a car back in 1970, some of you old guys can remember thatlolThis is just no the way to try and sale cars any more, no other dealer ship treated us this way. Had an '02 Escape. Ignition coil blew (again) due to water intrusion. Dropped SUV off. Was quoted $450 to fix, which was on par with what it cost to fix the first time it happened. Service guy called back, gave a "revised estimate" of around $1000 to replace the coil. Told guy I'd take it somewhere else. He asked how much I was willing to pay to have them do the work. He "checked with the service manager", and revised the quote to $860. I passed. He called back again and offered $650. I accepted. When I picked the car up, was charged $680.40Three days later, car stars making rattling, squealing noises. Take it back, dealership wants to charge $7200 for new engine. They claim that, even though they had to disassemble the engine and intake, the engine failure was unrelated to their work. Never ever ever use this dealership.

I love my new car and couldn't be happier with my purchase. If I could have changed one thing, I wish the communication between the ford dealership and I could have been a little better. Internet response was prompt on price quote for 2016 F 150. Cost of vehicle was below several other dealers contacted. Ordered vehicle arrived ahead of schedule and was clean and prepped when we arrived to pick up the truck. Salesman (J. Jermany) took time to explain features of vehicle and how everything worked. Paper work was smooth and straightforward with no high pressure sales pitch to purchase additional add ons. Cost of the truck was exactly as we had agreed to in the initial puchase order of the truck. We were very satisfied with all aspects of our truck buying experience at Damerow Ford.

I bought a 2014 Titanium Escape painted Ruby Red, but decided I did not want the Sun Roof. Usually, I am happy with the car. I wish the seats were a little wider and hugged me better when I am driving. I would prefer the automatic seats sat up a little straighter; that is, the back of the seat as I am not that tall. Other than that, I like the GPS screen which is easy to read, but sometimes it is difficult to enter an address if I don't know the zip code. Maybe the program could figure out the zip code even if the customer does not know it? The LOF service was good and prompt and I have always had good service. That is why I brought it in was for the LOF service. I also like the blind sight mirrors which warn me when I am changing lanes and also the warning signals when I am backing up letting me know if another car is behind me etc.

In Brief: The dealership sold me a used truck, as well as a warranty from National Warranty Corp of Oregon, which was essentially void before the truck left the lot due to a wheel size deviationfrom Factory 17" wheels to the AS SOLD, 18" wheels. Fast forward 2 years, and the automatic transmission dies. NWC denies the claim, but Damerow Ford goes to bat for me, and gets NWC to pay up. Thanks Damerow Ford, esp. Ali and Bryce.

I've never had such horrible service in my life. I went in to get a recall done on my car. They never told me how long it would take, didn't offer me a shuttle or ride to my home, never apologized for continuing to push back the time it was ready and gave it back to me with a new problem! The customer service was despicable. I called twice for a survey to be sent to me and they never sent it. Damerow Ford Service is a disgrace.

Our 2013 Escape had the engine light come on and the technicians replaced the fuel line and tank which seemed to solve the issue for about a day. When the engine light came on again, we took it back in to have it checked and 5 days later, they found the issue and resolved the problem. During those 5 days they provided us with a loaner car to use until the issue was taken care of, which was so helpful and generous. Staff and service were very helpful, friendly and got the job done with the extra service of the loaner car. We would highly recommend the service team at Damerow! Thank you!

I was fairly certain of what I wanted before I got to the dealership as I've been doing months of research and drove multiple vehicles. The team at Damerow Ford was great from the start with David. I didn't seek anyone out and after seeing me look at just about every truck on the lot David approached me to see how I was doing. He immediately whipped out his fancy key box controller and put some keys in my hand and took me on the road. As someone who has always been somewhat guarded when dealing with salesmen I was quickly put at ease as David and I talked and got to know each other. He presented me my options and pointed out a truck I had almost overlooked and that was the one I wen't with. From there the process was smooth and relatively quick for a major purchase like this. I never felt pressured into a decision, just some "enthusiasm" from David and Dan to help get me into a new truck. From there Spencer took me through the financing paperwork and I drove home a new 2015 F-150. I look forward to maintaining a relationship with Damerow and hopefully I can send some business David's way.

I purchased a Focus hatchback and was very pleased with the service I got from the dealership while trying to make the decision. The staff were helpful find a car with features important to me, showing me the features of the new car, helping me understand the differences between the focus and other similar cars, and making the new car fit into my expected budget. One thing that could have been slightly improved, however, would be to have a chance to see the large selection of Focuses on the lot all together to be able to compare everything side by side.

I always get treated well when I have a appointment. The only thing I don't like is being ignored when I pull up and have a question or need to make a appointment. Transit Cargo Van, Excellent Service. Popcorn and Coffee alone had me feeling taken care of. I dont know if this was supposed to happen , but I walked on the lot, saw the van,it was open, I sat in it,the key was in it compartment inside the door . I started it. walked around it, really had it to myself and no one paid attention to me till I went in the office to ask for a salesman.Any, that really worked for me,so I hope the lot guys dont get in troublei've always been kind of a rebel. Then Omid drove the golf cart around for 10 minutes looking for me. Haha. I inquired via the Internet about a 2016 Ford Explorer Sport and received an immediate call from Dan Hunt with pricing and availability. I also reached out to Landmark Ford who was far less responsive. Dan encouraged me to come in and I did. We reached an agreement and I made the purchase. I was very happy with the service Dan, the finance & sales departments provided. The process took only about 2 hrs and it was a no pressure environment.

Bradley the sales professional greeted us in the front. He was great from the beginning. This was our very first dealership we went to and we explained what car we wanted and he took us right there. After a little test drive we were in love with the car. Bradley was never fpreful and let us decide on our own. He was very patient. We are in love with our 2013 ford explorer. F150 XL 4x4 V-6 The first vehilcle had a problem with the doors and I thought I was going to be stuck with a new truck that would have to go to the shop a week after I purchased it. Not with Damerow Ford they went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. My trip in was for a service bulletin, as well as I'd come up on the maintenance reminder. The work was complete very quickly, and my car was even washed. We recently purchased a 2015 pickup. We were offered a fair price, but the real reason we bought at Damerow was the salesman. He helped us buy a truck, he didn't "sell" us. Cordial, polite, thoughtful, and accommodating. Five star rating.We paid cash and obviously that insulted someone because things have gone south since then. The washer fluid under the hood was empty, windshield still had the suction cup marks, (never had been cleaned, window caulking remnants in the vehicle, etc. All of that would have been overlooked if they had sent us the title so we could license and insure the vehicle properly. Here I sit nearly 3 weeks, numerous phone calls (and promises & excuses) after delivery, and I still don't have title. 1 star rating for after sale service. If you buy from Damerow, don't leave before you have EVERYTHING.

Salesman Colton Hanson lied to me in order to make a sale. He told me I would have a 3 mon/3000 mile warranty on the 2012 Ford Expedition I was going to purchase. I bought the truck and very quickly brought it back for a problem with the transmission. Colton told David in Service I have a 3 mon/3000 mile warranty so the transmission was covered and he would get him the information he needed. I was told over and over by Colton not to worry, it was covered and would be fixed. They had my truck for 2 wks. I was finally told by Service that Colton was now saying I do not have a warranty. I went in to talk to him and he said, yes he told me I had a warranty, but it does not matter what he told me, it only matters what got put on the paper work. Then he told me there is really nothing wrong with my truck, service just said there was so they could make money. That is how they make money. I had my mother record the conversation on her phone with Colton, and the two other managers who basically told me the same thing. To bad for me. Although Colton admitted to management he told me I had the warranty, management would not honor it. I sent an email to the owner Dan Kaiser to give him the opportunity to do the right thing and he failed to respond at all. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau. and possibly K-2 ON YOUR SIDE. They love stories about companies who screw over customers. This dealership has NO INTEGRITY.

In 2005, we bought an Excursion from Damerow and were pleased with the sales team but had poor experiences with the service department and so went elsewhere for service. When we received a postcard from Damerow asking to buy back our Excursion (they don't make them anymore) we decided to go in and talk with them. We met a very nice salesman, George, who helped me look at a smaller vehicle for my son to drive. In the process of "dealing" with them on the buy back of the Excursion and then buying the used car for my son, I met Brain the Sales Manager. So far so good, after I was able to get what we wanted for the Excursion. I then took in the used car that week to my mechanic to make sure that is was safe and reliable for my son who would be driving it soon. Come to find out is had a pretty good leak in the valve cover gaskets. I called George right away to tell him of the find. He said he would get his sales manager to call me immediately. Five and a half hours later I received that phone call. I explained to Brian, the sales manager, that I was not happy to find out about the leak and that his inspection team should have known about it and that since they had steam cleaned the engine it felt to me as if they were covering up the fact that it leaked. He said he would find the service report to see what the mechanics had said about the leak and told me the steam cleaning was done by $12/hr employees with headphones on. I believe that if you care about your cars you are selling, that your mechanics should take care of such an issue and that if that kind of issue was missed then maybe your detail crew should be trained to tell the mechanics if they see such a leak when detailing out the car. Brian then told me he would like me to bring the car in to him to let his service look at it. Considering the poor service we had on our previous vehicle and now this one and since it had been over 5 hours ago since my phone call, I had already authorized my mechanic to repair it. He then told me he could not pay for the repair since it was not his shop but if I could please call him the next day to update him on the repair. I called once and said the mechanic working on the car was not available and would call him back later. When I did call back on the 29 of June, I got voice mail. I then waited until a week and half later with no reply from Brian and finally e-mailed George. Again, no reply. This tells me that they have no concern over selling my a vehicle that needed a repair right away. We are buying a diesel pickup for our business in the next 2 weeks and I guarantee you that it won't be from Damerow if this is how it is always going to be with them. Too bad that an $850 repair, which would have cost them much less than what I had to pay, is now costing them a $60,000+ sale!

Incredible experience! Stopped by randomly even though I new I wanted a new escape for my wife Just went in for a test drive. After two weeks of looking around I decided to go back as they were friendly and gave me the best price for EXACTLY the car I wanted. They did not have the right color combo, packages I wanted etc. so they found one and had it brought in.Did not try to force me to buy any products I did not want. Kept true to their word on the entire process.Will go back when I want to upgrade my pickup!

I went to Damerow to look at possibly upgrading from my 2013 Fusion. Started out dealing on the internet, and decided to stop by with the family and see if they could actually all fit into a 2015 mustang. When we arrived the sales manager came out and met us and said the person I was looking to meet was not abailable , so he went and got another salesman. Chris Moore came out and from the first introduction was put at ease that we could look at whatever we wanted to and not be rushed. Told Chris what I was looking for and he showed me exactly what I wanted. We looked at a 2015 Mustang v6 model and ended up driving it with both the wife and myself separately. Wife was sold after the informative test drive she had with Chris. We sat down and did an application. Told Chris what we were looking for and first approval was way high on the payment and more than I was willing to put down. He went back in and then Kiyoshi in finance came out to talk to us. We purchased our Fusion from Kiyoshi, and he recognized us right away. Nice to see a car salesman remember you from years ago. Rare these days. We went thru the numbers with Kiyoshi and explained what we were looking for. He said he should be able to make it work. Went back and was on the phone with Ford credit and ended up with a payment we could afford and a down payment we could live with. Refreshing to deal with a dealer that is truly there to put you in a car you want. Chris was Johnny on the spot the next day when we pulled up with the second set of keys to the Fusion. Right there to greet us and we spoke for some time about what I was going to do to the car etc for a good amount of time. He easily could have rushed us out the door, but he took the time to talk. Greatly appreciated and would highly recommend you go ask for Chris Moore if you are considering buying a NEW car. Great experience and a great buy! Thanks again Chris! Nick and Patchree

I was driving by last Saturday and had no intention of actually signing a new lease. Chris showed me a Focus after talking with me, and let me take it home for a test drive. I returned it in the evening and was helped by Larry and Kiyoshi. I was prepared to deal with the salesman gong back and forth with the finance dept many times, but was very pleased/surprised that we had a deal in less than an hour. Chris, Larry and Kiyoshi are a great team, and deserve to be recognized for their efforts! I had been saving up for and researching the Ford Fusion Hybrid for a few months when I finally got in contact with about 6 dealerships through TrueCar, including Damerow Ford. I received several price quotes and from the very first email, Dan Hunt from Damerow Ford offered upfront no hassle pricing that I would have to haggle other dealers to get to. I could tell from the way he communicated that he was confident in being able to help me find the best deal and did not feel any sales pressure whatsoever. I was very picky with this vehicle, so several dealerships mentioned possibly ordering it but all of them indicated that I would get the incentives/rebates offered at the time that the vehicle arrived, 6-12 weeks out. Why would I want to put a deposit down, order a vehicle and wait, when I don't know what the final price will be? The exception to this trend was Damerow Ford. When Dan mentioned possibly going the ordering route, he let me know that I would get the incentives offered right now OR when the vehicle arrives, whichever is better for me. Not only did he offer me the best price from the get-go, but he offered great customer service. I had quite a few questions and he assisted me every step of the way without making me feel like I was being a pain. I took a little more time to finish up my savings and locate the perfect vehicle and when it came time to purchase my vehicle a couple weeks later, I knew who I wanted to close the deal with. The dealership that had gained my trust.Buying a vehicle can be a very expensive purchase. I know that when I'm making a big purchase, I want honesty, excellent customer service, and no hassle low pricing otherwise I'll look elsewhere. I did my research and then some, so I know that I really got the best from Dan Hunt at Damerow Ford. I'm extremely happy with my new car and will be for years to come, because I got exactly what I wanted at a great price.Thank you!

i found the truck I wanted on line, at 11pm, and contacted them. I received an email first thing in the morning giving me all of the info requested. I worked with Dale Monahan-I told him my car was not running and he offered to bring the truck I was interested TO ME-never had a dealership offer that service before! my fiance and I decided to just take his car and drive down there. It was my birthday that day and really didn't want to spend the whole day at a car lot but I needed a car. We pulled up-I asked for Dale and he came right out. He took me straight to the car I had asked about-took it for a ride. After talking to Dale for less than ten minutes, we felt we had known him for years. Dale was so helpful that my fiance ended up not only buying my car but bought one for himself. My fiance told Dale what he was looking for and found him the exact car he wanted-with all the bells and whistles he had wanted in less than 10 minutes. Dale was not pushy, didn't try to talk him into anything-just presented the car and let him decide. The helpful, friendly attitude didn't end with Dale-when we met with Stuart in financing he was down to earth-offered me the Protection Plan-when I said I wasn't interested-that was it...he didn't push me or try to talk me into buying it. when I went in to pick up my plates-Stuart told us that he was able to find us a lower interest rate than the one we initially agreed to-WITHOUT us having to ask!! it is going to be sometime before we have to buy a vehicle again-but when we do we are going back there for sure!

Damerow Ford had an add in the Oregonian paper yesterday 4/11/15 for an F150 at price around $27,000.00. I went in to the dealer but was told it was already sold after looking around in their yard. (Apparently they don't keep track of what is for sale or sold there.) I had actually called over a week earlier related to a similar add and was told at that time it was sold. As this add came out yesterday I figured they probably put another one in the add. They then tried to sell me a used 2014 with 8,000 miles. I thought that if it was cheaper I might be interested. After they did all their calculations they said they could sell me that one for over $32,000.00. They also tried to justify it saying that it had a lot more extras, which was not true as the picture in the add had alloy wheels and they said it did not. After wasting over two hours of my time (and theirs which is the only plus). I left while they were still trying to get me to stay. I don't blame the salesman Lucian Stanison, but only those above him as he did try to be helpful. This looked like the old bait & switch game to me. I do not recommend them at all, and in my opinion I would say to stay away.

Make sure you check out online ratings if you want to take your vehicle to a Ford Dealership. Many of the other dealers have much higher ratings and provide a considerably higher level of customer service. Damerow service was really lacking in their diesel knowledge and were not at all honest about the issues I was having with my truck.

Negligent in their paperwork. Paperwork went on for a full month of faxing and not receiving. Needing more and more. Failed to disclose "details". For example does this have Sirius radio, "yes", failed to tell you it wasnt working. Never will go back. However, liked salesman very much.

I purchased a new F150 with an OEM accessory to be added after delivery as parts were not in stock. The price was included in the negotiation, they were a little deceptive on this but I was assured they would honor the agreement. As the process developed they became condescending and insulting. I tried to get the general managers help but nothing.

All went great in buying our new car until we had to sign the papers. When we wouldn't buy the extended warranty, he started yelling at us. He told us what debt we would be in, would max out our credit cards, that he has binders of cars that come in for repairs weekly, with all the computer's something is sure to break, were just lucky our other Ford hasn't has numerous problems yet, and we would remember him when we were in financial problems for not buying the warranty!!

In July of this year, I purchased a 2007 Mustang Shelby GT500 Coupe. I spoke with Dan Hunt and Brian (Sales Manager) to make the deal on this high-end sports car with only 9K miles on it. Dan and Brian were outstanding to work with, 100% accurate description of the car, pricing was very competitive, and they bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. In addition to a great car buying experience, they also setup and handled shipping the car from Portland to Billings, MT. Everything went well and I would definitely not hesitate to purchase from them again if they had a vehicle that I was interested in.

Tire had a bulge in it. According to the warranty it was not covered by Ford but the tire manufacturer does cover it if no evidence can be found that it is caused by an impact of some kind (hitting a curb). Instead of informing my wife that she can take it to a continental dealer they instead handed her a bill for $205. She swears that she has not hit a curb and has not driven recklessly. I inspected the wheel and tire and could find ZERO evidence that she had hit a curb, it had to be a defect. She left without paying and contacted me. I reviewed our warranty information and decided to return to the service department and ask them why they didn't inform her of her options. I informed the adviser Jeremy C that I was unhappy and would file a complaint online if he was unwilling to at least attempt to rectify the situation in some way. He encouraged me to do so! He told me there was no way he would do anything to help us and then encouraged me to go ahead and "Do my worst". What kind of circus are these guys running over there?

After spending time on website we set out to damerow ford. we were greeted by Freddy he cared about the needs of the customer . working in customer service its nice we some goes the extra mile. the finance manager Micky was great to work with . we needed a spare key the service department not replaced my key for less than I thought it would cost. but they washed the car. I would gladly recommend this card dealer

This was the worst consumer experience of my entire lifetime. Make no mistakes about this, this is your typical seedy old school type car dealership. First warning sign....when I went in to try to make a deal, Dale Monahan (the Internet Sales Manager) took my keys to get an appraisal on my trade in.......AND WOULDN'T GIVE THEM BACK!!!!!!! I asked for them three times, and told him I needed to go over to talk over the deal he presented with my boyfriend at least 7 times, and he never gave me my keys back. Issue number two....they sold me the car at a price that was $3000 over the internet price, and the internet is how I found them. This one may have been slightly my fault, my phone was dead and I couldn't pull up the internet price. But this also goes back to #1, I wanted to go home and research but when I asked for my keys they were never delivered. Issue number three....they chose not to honor the legally binding contract they entered. This is where it got nasty. Even after 1 & 2 I signed the contract, because on paper it was a good deal. Now, this wasn't a tentative agreement, I signed a sales contract and had the registration sent to the DMV (I still have the vehicle registration but not the car!). Two days after I drove off the lot with the car and my registration they called me and told me they were no longer interested in the deal and that I needed to bring the car back? WHAT!!!!! Now, I heard of financing falling threw, but that wasn't the case here. I signed a sales contract with Damerow Ford, which they intended to sell to another finance company. My contract with them wasn't contingent on them selling the contract afterwards. This is when issue number four came into play. #4..........Brian Ronstadt, the General Sales Manager. What a tool. He was very rude, and said things to me that were simply untrue. He quoted laws that were real laws. He was derogatory and condescending. So much so that I had to have a family friend (an attorney that was not representing me) call him back. But don't just take my word for it, I recorded every call we had. I've played them for others and another attorney I consulted. Everyone else confirmed he was vile and unprofessional, and the attorney confirmed all of things he was saying weren't true. The consumer affairs also reviewed the contract and told me that it was definitely legally binding and enforceable. He also provided me an e-mail on how to rebut all of the lies he was telling. And 5 is the end.............I ended up returning the car. Brian threatened to tow it even though he had no legal reason to as I had DMV registration, and a legally binding contract that I didn't violate. He threatened to charge me outlandish "rental" fees claiming he had a legal right even though I never signed anything agreeing to those fees. In the end, I was sure I had a battle I could win, but the attorney I consulted told me legal fees would run in the 5 figures and the arbitration would drag out for months. I also applied for a loan with my credit union during this time and I was approved so I thought it best to take my business elsewhere. In conclusion, STAY AWAY!!!!! Do not bring your business here. If you absolutely must please reach out to me! You owe it to yourself to hear the way Brian Ronstadt spoke to me. I'll gladly provide the audio to anyone considering this dealership, as well as the notes and e-mails from the consumer affairs attorney I worked with. But save yourself the trouble and stay away. I called other Ford dealerships and they knew exactly what dealership I was talking about when I told them my story without me having to mention Damerow Ford, Dale Monohan, or Brian Ronstadt by name.

I live approximately 150 miles from the dealership. Found a car on the Internet was I interested in called and made an appointment approximately 3 days in advance. When I showed up the salesman I made the appointment with did not bother to come in and the vehicle I was interested in had already been sold. I told the salesman the five things I wanted on a vehicle was four-wheel or all-wheel drive, navigation, leather, backup camera and remote start. The closest thing he had was all-wheel drive and I was told he could add leather, backup camera and remote start so I mistakenly assumed it had navigation. I told them I would only finance through Ford and I wanted no credit reports pulled on me unless Ford wanted a new one. I don't what happened but they financed me through a credit union and not Ford. I was told I had a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty that included everything except new tires. I questioned this and they swear by it but at 15,000 miles I had to pay Ford for front end alignment. Either they made a small mistake telling me this or they were blowing smoke up my xxx. When everything was said and done and I was accepting delivery of the vehicle I found out it did not have navigation. If you visit this dealership I strongly suggest you record everything said but you will have proved to the court and when you leave if you fart not do it around smoke detector. This has been my experience and it is only my opinion of them.

Salesman and finance manager were trying to tie in additional, unagreed to pricing. After several hours of asking politely to have my trade-in vehicles keys back, and getting only excuses for the delays, I had to threaten to call the police and report my car stolen before I got any response. I will never purchase another vehicle from Damerow. And then, before I even made the first payment on the used vehicle I purchased, I was left stranded along the highway in the dark, on the coldest night in december, and had to spend $1,200 in repairs for a faulty fuel line. Unfortunately for me, the vehicle was sold "as is". A sad, sad experience for this single mom trying to make it in a bad economy.

Met Chris by email as he is the Internet Sales Mgr. My experience in past purchases is...always deal with the Internet Sales Guys as you will typically get a better deal. Chris was likeable and professional, sending us info. by email and phone. We came up to Beaverton and Damerow Ford from Albany becuase prices and vehicle selection/Inventory was greater than any other Dealer I could find. After being patient with us on color choices, explaining options and test drives; we made a purchase with Chris and drove home in a NEW 2014 Ford Explorer, sunset orange color I might add ! After finishing all the paper work Chris showed us thru the vehicle and especially thru the new computer touch screen operating systems....wow ! these modern vehicles are something else ! So thanks Chris for the shopping experience. I would recommend that you contact Chris at Damerow in the Internet Dept. !!! Plus...you cant beat the quality of a great Ford product. I went there to buy a car and Mr. Chris Blackburn was my sales person, after spending a long time negotiating the final price. I wanted more discount and instead of saying no, Mr. Blackburn started passing jokes about my wife. I have never seen such behavior from anyone let alone someone trying to sell me a car. After that Mr. Blackburn and another sales person ganged up on me, got extremely aggressive and asked me to leave the showroom. My advice, stay away from this place.

Trampus our salesman was fair and very imformative about the car with us. He did well explaining the car to us. He also made sure we had some of the service work done. He has a very nice and good personality. We like Trempus and appreciated his professional wisdom.We felt pressure from some of the management and there was some miss understanding with them. I just bought a new Focus Hatchback from Dale Monahan. I had come close to purchasing the vehicle at a different dealership over Labor Day, but had just moved into town and hadn't quite completed setting up my new credit union account and transferring money. When I indicated that I would need to wait a few days for those things to happen, I felt pushed and pressured -- as if I wouldn't be able to get a decent price if I didn't buy before midnight on Labor Day. That type of approach doesn't work with me at all. I hadn't bought a new car in 13 years, so it was not only important that I get the car I wanted, but that I also feel good about the experience. I had done my research before I went into Damerow and saw Dale and had gotten multiple quotes from him and other dealerships in the region. I knew what other places were selling the car for and Damerow offered the best price. Driving different cars and shopping via the internet before you go in to make a deal is the only way to go. I spent less than 90 minutes at the dealership and that included the final test drive, financing paperwork and time spent looking for the color vehicle I wanted at other locations since Damerow didn't have it in stock. When I told Dale what I wanted, he actually listened to me (what a concept!). He did not try to push me into a more expensive vehicle or pressure me in any way. Dale may be in the business of selling cars, but he doesn't come off as a typical salesman -- no song and dance, hiding the ball or fakey friendliness. Just straightforward and helpful. I appreciate that approach. When the car came in last night he stayed late to accommodate my schedule and spent time walking me through all the features on the car. Even though the deal is done, I feel confident that Dale will assist me if I have any additional questions or issues. This was not a big sale for him (under 20K), but it was a big purchase for me. Many dealerships tout themselves as offering no-pressure sales, but I actually found that to be the case in my experience with Damerow.

My husband and I were the owners of a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. Now that our kids have their own cars, we don't need the room like we used to, so we were looking for a newer used car and found a 2013 Ford Escape with almost 33,000 miles online that caught our eye. Larry the Ford guy was our sales rep and made our car buying experience a breeze. He was knowledgeable about the car and was with us the whole step of the way. We gave our price of what we wanted to spend which included our trade-in and they made it happen. We also ended up with a great deal on having bumper to bumper protection if anything goes wrong with the car (even all the electronic gadgets) for the next 7 years or 100,000 miles. This gives us a piece of mind since the car already has almost 33,000 miles on it.

My overall experience at Damerow ford, I would say 5-star. I bought a pre-owned Ford Mustang V6 Premium 2012 just a couple of weeks ago. I saw some deal online and never had an intention to buy it out the same evening. After work I thought I would visit the showroom look at the car and would think of it after giving a test drive. The moment I entered, people greeted me well. Let me tell you I bought that car in 2 hours and have driven it back home that night itself. It sounds crazy for a guy who never ever thought I would buy it out just in two hours of discussion without even having an intention to buy it on the same night. Alex Khan was my sales person and he took me back to car showed me asked me to test drive, it took about half an hour, though I wanted to make it early and go back home, I followed the route suggested by him and took about half an hour. And see, in next one and half hour, the car was at my home. They were extremely helpful and convincing me in every aspect except for the price which is reasonable as the car was already on sale (originally 22k but 19k was the selling price) it had 29k miles on it and as it is certified pre-owned they gave me warranty up to 100k miles. They were firm on the price but were able to convince me in other aspects. I was just sitting there for one hour and everything was so fast and quick let it be getting the car ready or the paper work. they were able to arrange me financing, insurance and everything. They promised me several other things as I was continuously bargaining on price as they were firm, and I think they were able to do everything they promised. Even after couple of weeks when I visit the showroom with some problems or for car wash, my sales person recognizes me by name and greets well and helps me out in getting things together in the showroom. They would even help me getting my other things related to car get done as in few scratches here and there while parking and all for a real cheap which costs me around a few hundred bucks at other auto-body paint dealers. I would definitely prefer Damerow ford and would suggest to any of my friends in future. They always give me peace and keep me happy when I visit the showroom relating to car by not losing several hundred dollars. Last thing even other persons who work there in fact keep asking you is everything fixed and whether I am satisfied during the visit which gives me a feeling of relief and best way to say bye. Extremely customer friendly.

My salesman, Trampas Crook, was knowledgeable and extremely helpful...also a bit of an entertainer (in a good way). We recently bought a 2013 Ford Fusion at Damerow Ford. We have bought lots of cars before- usually from shady discount places on 82nd. This time, we wanted the piece of mind that comes with a new vehicle. But we weren't looking forward to slick salesmen, ugly negotiations, and having to compromise on what we needed. We popped in to Damerow just after doing a test drive at a competitor down the street. The competitor's sales people were cold, almost aloof. Maybe they wanted to give us our space, but we wanted to get some information. At Damerow, Dave greeted us warmly and with good energy. He showed us just what we were looking for. When it came to negotiation of our trade-in, he was up-front and honest. Dave really knows the cars he's selling. Unlike other places, where the salesmen are just reciting lines from a product spec. sheet, Dave was knowledgable about everything from the the MyFord Touch system to mechanical aspects of the various transmission choices. He even knew a lot about competing makes and was honest about how they stacked up against the Escape. We did the entire deal around a table in the show room. No back room sweating, no good cop/bad cop stuff. We would absolutely recommend Damerow Ford. And we would ask for Dave.

My husband and I moved to the area about a year ago. A month after we arrived my car was starting to have some bucking problems. We didn't know anywhere else so we decided to take it to Damerow Ford. They called us later that night to inform us that it was the passenger side transmission and engine mounts and that total it would cost around $480. We were able to pick it up the next day and we thought all was fine again. The next day, however, the bucking continued. We decided to wait and get the fuel lines cleaned when we took it in for an oil change and this cost about $100. Two weeks later and after the fuel lines were flushed the bucking was so bad that the car stalled over train tracks at a busy intersection on the way to the dealership. They definitely had not fixed the problem at all. We took it in when they fixed it (can't remember the problem) it cost us another $450 for parts and labor. For that one problem we took it in twice and it cost us almost $1100.We recently took the car in for creaking noise. "Why would you take it in again after the first, terrible experience?" you might ask. We were pressed again on time and didn't know where else to go. We were told it should be simple, just replacing a balljoint. We were called the next day and told that it was actually the axle bearing. Later that day we went to pick up the car because we were told it was finished. I drove it out the lot to hear, to my surprise, the creaking noise was still there! I drove right back to the lot and waited for another hour for them to figure out that the left axle needed to be fixed as well and that I now have to drive it around like this until they get the part in stock next week and rent yet another car because they do not offer loaner cars. We've looked around and will be taking our business to someone else for all of our service needs. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO DAMEROW FORD!

Overall our buying experience at Damerow Ford was good. I would like to highlight two encounters that somewhat tarnished an otherwise outstanding experience. Both of our somewhat negative encounters have to do with last minute attempts by Damerow Ford personnel to sell us products that would add to the price of our chosen vehicle. We had ordered a vehicle approximately four weeks before the delivery date, and were in contact with Damerow during that entire period, so there was ample time and opportunity for them to let us know of other products they were offering. We would have then had time to consider these offerings and decide whether they were something we would like to invest in or not. However, we were not given that opportunity.The first product offered at the last minute was a "Northwest Protection Package," that included a polymer paint sealant for the exterior, and some kind of interior protectant. We were told that the normal price was $1,495, but that if we signed up that day, as new customers our price would be "only" $995. The strategy was to first tell us we had a problem: "Your car has a bad paint job", then to say that only Damerow Ford had the solution. We had to make the decision right then. There was no brochure, or any other data provided on what the protection package would involve. The salesman did not even know what products were used other than "polymer." We declined that offer.Later, I did some checking and found that ordinary auto detailing shops apply polymer sealants for as little as $50, guaranteed for two years. If what Damerow was offering really was worth 20 times more than what the detail shops offer (40 years of protection??), it would be nice to know what it is, so that we could make an informed decision. The salesman helpfully told us about all the other options we could order with the car, so why not mention this as well? It just seemed a little "fishy" to us, and we are glad we didn't go along with his suggestion. The second somewhat negative encounter we had was when we spoke to the finance person regarding financing for the car. Again we were told we had a problem, and only Damerow Ford had the solution. The problem was that we were buying a highly technically advanced vehicle, and that repairs are extremely expensive. The solution was a Ford Extended Service Plan. When we asked if we could buy the plan later after doing some research, we were told that as soon as the registration information goes through the DMV, the car is considered a "used car" and the only kind of plan we could buy at that time would be a used car ESP, that would be much less favorable. Therefore we needed to decide right then whether we were going to buy one or not. This time we went along with the suggestion and added $2235 to our finance contract for the 7 year 75,000 mile, $100 deductible plan. Later, I checked the Ford website, and found that customers can buy a new car contract any time within the first year or 12,000 miles of the car's life, with no surcharge added to the cost. So what we were told at Damerow was untrue. Furthermore, we could buy exactly the same contract directly from Ford for less than the price Damerow charged us. For these reasons, we immediately called Damerow Ford and requested a cancellation of the ESP. We are now waiting for a refund to be sent to our lien holder, but are told by Damerow that it could take up to 90 days.In conclusion, we want to say again that overall we had a very good experience purchasing a vehicle through Damerow Ford. They offered a very good price on the vehicle of our choice, and went out of their way to find one in regional inventory that matched our requirements. They did not charge us for the dealer swap they had to initiate in order to get the vehicle. We were just a little bit disappointed that we were presured, a bit dishonestly, to purchase a couple of options that would have added over $3,000 to the price of the car. Please beware!

I would recommend this dealer for one reason - David Stone. I first met him, took a test ride, decided to order a car from the factory through him. To check the price, I went to USAA.com. That put my email address out to several dealers through the internet sales people. That complicated my dealing slightly but I got back with Dave when I came in to buy the car. Dave handled everything with dispatch and eliminated any problems. The car was not exactly what I wanted (interior color) and missing one option. The option was installed, Dave pointed me to an aftermarket upholstery shop. The business/credit manager sold me an extended service agreement, which sounded really good and would be IF the car was a primary vehicle and lots of miles driven annually. It is not so I decided to cancel the Extended service agreement, except I couldn't get any return calls. I came back into the dealer, Dave saw me, asked if there was a problem, I told him, he took care of it in less than two minutes.damerow gave me a good price but as lond as Dave Stone works there , I will recommend Damerow to evryone with one caveat - ask for Dave Stone. He'll do right.

We began our experience with Malcolm Lewis. Malcolm was amazing. Knowledgeable about all the cars on the lot. A great guy to be touring the vehicles with. We settled on the Fusion. 2.0 eco boost. Once we had the choice completed we were then introduced to Kiyoshi Tsuji. It was a seamless move. We were now working with Kiyoshi. Kiyoshi knew what we wanted and took over from there. The car we wanted was not in stock so Kiyoshi set out to find our car. He worked tirelessly on this search. We happen to choose a very popular model for Ford so it was not as available as others. That didn't stop Kiyoshi from finding the vehicle we wanted. He found a couple we considered, and once we did decide on the one, Kiyoshi had it moved it from the other dealer to his location and it was done in a matter of days. We were notified every step of the way of the progress. Once the car was in, the matter of purchase was made very simple. We felt we were given a wonderfully fair deal and we then progressed to Yousif Yasin. Yousif handled the final documentation and payment along with the pitch for additional coverages, etc. I usually hate this part of the car buying experience! On this day, I had a blast. Yousif was non pressure, but very informative and helpful, not to mention someone you will genuinely enjoy talking with. We did purchase some additional plans and felt great about it. I scored Damerow across the board with a solid 5 and if I could choose a higher number I would. I highly encourage your next car to be a Ford and to purchase that car from the professionals at Damerow! You won't be disappointed.

I came into the dealership knowing what I wanted and I found out in my purchase at Damerow. From the moment I met the seller, Dave until the moment I signed the final paperwork with Yousif I was very impressed with this dealers friendliness, easy to work with attitude, upbeat enviroment...the sales manager Brian was absolutely great! All three of the guys...Dave, Yousif and Brian...they worked really hard to get us a great deal on our purchase. My honey and I personally have ALWAYS hated Fords BUT I would seriously consider buying a Ford if it was from these three! AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME DEALER!! Thanks Guys!!

Wow! I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews, but as I was using the USAA Auto Find, I knew they would not work with a disreputable dealer. Kyoshi was a no show for my appt, but Glen and Spencer Williams stepped right in - they asked what I was looking for (and I was prepared with miles and cost) and they didn't try to show me something that was not in that range. Honestly, I was probably a bit difficult because I REALLY did my home work. They did not try to hard-sell me, and the manager was just as nice. I was determined to sleep on it, and they respected that. Halfway home, I turned around and went back - as much as for the great deal on 2012 Ford Focus (only 13,600 miles) as for the GREAT customer service. Am a single mom with a son who is starting college so the right car/price was critical AND I wanted someone who listened to ME! Additionally, I didn't have a way home and SPENCER offered to follow me home (all the way to DALLAS) with the car -- I found a ride, and then Spencer offered to stay late if I didn't get there before they closed. How does it get better? Well, I came with my own financing - and they offered to beat it - and they did! Yousif in finance was FABULOUS and didn't try to push additional items on us - what a gentleman, and he had us out of there in no time. Not only would I go back -- but, I've already recommended them to others. Thank you Spencer for the best auto-buying experience I've had to date. Hey, if you're tired of hard-sell tactics, and want someone who really listens - go see Spencer Williams at Damerow -- and to all the hard-sell salesman out there and the dealers that allow it, there's a new guy and Damerow and HE'S making sales by caring for his customers!

This was my first new car purchase in over 10 years. Over several months I researched a variety of Mid sized sedans from all the major manufactures. When I first met Chris it was to check out the 2013 Fusion and take it out for a test drive. I was shocked when that day he even went so far as to arrange an overnight test drive for me. Chris was immensely patient during the entire process which took over a month as I was on the fence to what my final decision would be. He always responded quickly to my calls and emails answering any/all questions I had for him with no pressure to buy. Although the 2013 Fusion almost sells itself, it takes a salesperson with experience and knowledge to make the customer feel at ease with such an important purchase and close the deal. We actually had a very positive experience at Damerow (I say 'actually' because we had come to expect subpar service at dealerships). We met with Chris B., who was friendly, professional, and not sleazy. Chris dealt with us the whole time, as opposed to other places where we were often tossed around from salesperson to salesperson. We knew what car we wanted and we ended up getting a good deal. Todd was the guy who took care of the financial side of things and he was very friendly and respectful. Based on our experience at Damerow, I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

I recently purchased a vehicle on 3-23-2013 . I found this car on auto trader and being it over 5 hrs drive from my location i called and spoke to a sales rep "Trampas" and asked the normal questions anyone buying a vehicle such as Clean tittle? Does it have any major body and or paint damage, what are the conditions of the tires, any major damage to the interior such as rips tears or broken or missing pieces? While working with this sales person over the phone for a week, he noted body has no damage, paint is very clean beside normal rock chips interior was detailed and car was run threw serivce and oil had been changed. So my wife and i decided to make the long drive and give this dealership a try. Got there trampas came out greeted my wife and i, i start to inspect the car and i noticed the whole rear of the car paint was flaking off, the interior was really filthy and asked why i was told different on the phone? He reply's sorry i did not notice it really come on, how ever said come in we can work on the price great so he said he would take 500 off the price to get the the car repainted and that he would have it cleaned out before we drove off, i said no thanks i will take my car i was going to trade in and leave. Then asked 3 times can i get my keys back and the pressured me till i gave in "MY MISTAKE" and they ended giving me 1,000 off the sales price fair enough i thought drove the car 5hrs back home on the way i noticed an oil smell, got home late parked the car in my new home car garage i woke up the next morning only to find 2 big puddles of oil on my new cement, took the car to a local dealer and was quoted $2,180.94 for labor and parts to get my car road worthy once again. We are very unhappy with this dealer since i called them and the refuse to take any obligation matters doing by selling cars without telling and or making a costumer aware of work needing to be done to and used cars sold at Damerow Ford.. As is they say.. Garbage, lemon cars, dishonest, Crooks is what best describes this dealer in my experience with these sale, Managers, and service Dept. Beware of when you buy from them.. BBB will get a notification as well.

Lol, we developed quite a relationship w/the guys at Damerow! We had been researching Ford Fusion hybrids for a few months and knew that's probably what we wanted in Medford, Oregon. We were celebrating our 31st anniversary and travelling through Portland area to see our kids and on up to Seattle. We stopped in because my husband had tried to get in contact w/a salesman he had met there about a month before. Couldnt remember his name but Larry started helping us and we test drove one, were kind of going back and forth about whether to buy here, didnt want to offend salesman in Medford and wanted to get on w/our anniversary trip. To make a long story short, we were indecisive as a couple could get even to the point of making a deal on a red really loaded Fusion and staying in Portland that night, only to change our mind and come in next morning and ask if they had another color w/less features. They searched and found one that was supposed to be coming in that day and just made it happen, even tinted it for us while we went on to Seattle. THey had alot of patience w/us and my anal husband! Staff is very professional and if they threw a party when we left, they never let on that they were exasperated! Tim is an awesome manager and Paul never made us feel like we were putting him out, no matter how late it got. Also they gave us the most anyone had ever offered on our trade in. Thanks so much for a pleasant part of our anniversary! We love the car, couldnt be happier and were blessed to get to drive it home to Medford that day!

I went in to test drive a new 2013 Ford Escape (I had narrowed my purchases down to three vehicles). Once I was finished with the test drive, I prepared to leave and was asked simply "What price would you pay to stay?". I had done some research about the vehicle and figured I knew what a fair price for the car was. I gave them my number. After 30 minutes and a few questions about my trade-in, they came back with deal that met my price. I was surprised that they were so quick to get everything together. The other significant thing was their comments to me, that I was free to say no and go. There was no pressure to stay, no pressure to make a deal. They were honest and direct about wanting to sell the car, but were very sensitive about making it easy. They did not pressure me to stay or to buy that particular car. In my experiences, this was the best time I have spent buying a car. I felt no pressure to buy, and understood everything they were doing to make me a good deal on the car I wanted. In total, I spent about 1:45 minutes there and left with my new Ford Escape.If you're looking to buy a new car stop by and See Joseph Spencer or Aaron Noble. They made me a good deal and treated me right.

Recently I purchased a 2013 Ford Fiesta from Damerow. What a wonderful experience I had with no pressure to buy. I came in just interested in finding out a few things and Trampas was so kind and patient. Hours later I walked out with a new set of keys. Weeks later I went back in to get my license plates and Trampas remembered who I was and even put my plates on. SO..., I did my research and looked at MANY cars, as I knew I was going to be keeping this next one for a while. That's when I found the 2013 Fusion Hybrid. Looked luxurious and got reportedly better MPG than my Saturn (which is 33-39MPG). Issue was that I was not planning on settling for any trade-offs on this new vehicle; I wanted exactly what I wanted in the car and gave about 6 Dealers the chance to find it. Being military, I used a buyer program through my bank for a break in cost. That meant an e-purchase though, which I'm not a fan of in general as I can't get to know the personalities behind the sale. After a few offers of 95% solutions being turned down, Damerow Ford in Beaverton was the first to tap out and tell me that a Custom Factory Order was extremely likely. Despite this, I gave the other Dealers some extra (soon to be discovered, wasted) time. That's when I went back to the ones whom knew the reality and weren't afraid to tell me - Damerow. Mind you, this is a big deal in the car industry because that means that I would need to wait for the order which negates the impulse buy aspect. Also a big deal for me since I am military stationed in a different state and needed a heads up to fly up and get the vehicle from my state of residence - OR. (Praise be no sales tax!). So the order went in and then the long awaited call came in with delivery confirmed. After the call, I arrange with my command to fly up later that week in the only very small window I could manage to retrieve the car. Timing is everything and I was concerned that some inconsistency on the dealership's end would delay an otherwise well planned retrieval. My concerns were completely baseless -- Damerow Ford came through though in every sense! From when my flight landed at 7:30pm, I went straight to the Dealership which was open until 9pm. I had already scheduled to get the car at opening the next day, but was reassured that I could go see her as she was stowed overnight in their service garage to keep her in pristine delivery shape for the next morning. So we stopped off. While not planned, but offered, I hadn't expected much of a warm welcome from the late night staff or even much of an acknowledgement. I was waaay off. The first salesman that walked up introduced himself and I informed him that I was picking up my car the next morning and he smiled, knew my name and walked us over to where she was housed for the night. Being that this was the first time that I had seen her, we looked at everything. The Salesman politely recognized that the situation was well in hand and backed away giving us 10-20min of time to check her out. No pressure, no small talk, no sense of frustration in dealing with another salesman's customer (whom he'd not be making any money from)... nothing. Just professional courtesy that I had assumed dead in the industry. Elated, as she was everything I had intended and hoped for, we turned in for the night. Returning the next morning, my concerns arose again as I prepared for some protracted sales process, when I really needed to hit the road for my drive south back to my home station in CA. I was prepped knowing that they opened an hour earlier than the finance guy was scheduled to arrive and that we'd have to kill some time, but much to my surprise, my salesman (Dale Monahan) had already smoothed that hiccup out by asking if the finance guy was able to come a little earlier due to my rare circumstances. I'm sure that a morning coffee and doughnut were bought in trade, but it happened and he was in about 7 minutes after we were. Process went quickly and smoothly (despite my desire for custom Crater Lake vanity plates). There were NO SURPRISES or omissions! This is an uncommon situation handled very professionally by a top-notch dealership. In every conversation and test drive, Damerow Ford is getting their reputation out there... because they earned it and I'm all about ensuring a good turn is rewarded!

Damerow handled my Factory Custom Order of my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid efficiently and professionally!****Background: My beautiful wife drives a 2004 Saturn L300 in excellent condition and my old car was a 2002 Saturn SL (which I still love and have handed down in my family due to high mileage). Being a token Saturn family, we were faced with the sad reality that Saturns are not available in newer models... SO..., I did my research and looked at MANY cars, as I knew I was going to be keeping this next one for a while too. That's when I found the 2013 Fusion Hybrid. Looked luxurious and got reportedly better MPG than my Saturn (which was 33-39MPG). BIG REQUIREMENT for any replacement vehicle, which really narrowed the field even after 10-11 years of time. The only issue was that I was not planning on settling for any trade-offs on this new vehicle as I tend to keep them for a while; I wanted exactly what I wanted in the car and gave about 6 Dealers the chance to find it. Being military I believed that allowing a buyer program through my bank was the way to go as it gave me a break in cost. That meant an e-purchase though, which I'm not a fan of in general as I can't get to know the personalities behind the sale. Upside is that I saw more of the personalities than I thought I would. I can tell you which dealerships were stalling for new inventory, which hadn't looked and which decided I was too particular and didn't want my business. Do not buy from this dealership. We traded in an old Ford Focus for a new Ford Focus and asked them to do a plate transfer from the old car to the new car. They did it and told us our new plates would arrive in a few weeks. After nothing arrived, I received a call from the DMV asking me which plates I wanted to transfer over. I told them that Damerow said we were suppossed to get new plates, and the DMV told me that we should have kept the old plates. The DMV then asked me what happened to the old plates and I told them I that I assumed they were still on the car we traded in. Turns out, Damerow should have given us the plates from the car we traded in, but they didn't, and that car has since been sold. We bought the car in July and still, it is now November, have no plates or registration. Damerow has repeatedly said they would take care of it for us. We call Damerow at least 2 to 3 times a week and they tell us the same thing every time, which is that they are working on it and they will get back to us. When my wife called them today, Brian Ronstadt, the manager, told her that it was my fault because I told the DMV that I didn't know where the plates were and he HUNG UP ON MY WIFE! After contacting the DMV and doing a little review research online, this issue has happened numerous times at Damerow, which implies that they are either very slow learners, or there is something fraudulent going on. We have since contacted a DMV investigator, the Oregon Department of Justice, and Ford Headquarters to try and help us out. They have all opened up a case, so the issue must be serious. Bottom line, do not go to Damerow.

Everytime we went back they told us a new story--- lies to make more $.Luckily the Sales manager was on our side and could see what had happened. Chris Blackburn worked very hard with me to pick out and deliver a 2013 Mustang as an anniversary/birthday gift for my wife. In addition to helping me find exactly the right car and exactly the right options, Chris went FAR out of his way to help me keep the purchase a surprise. He let me keep the car at his lot until the big day, worked with his staff to not contact the house and ruin the surprise, and facilitate the trade-in of my wife's old car without her knowing. On 8/29/12 I test drove a Toyota FJ Cruiser at Damerow Ford at about 1pm. Over the next 5 hours and a lot of high pressure tactics from J.P. and Aaron, I negotiated the price and financing of the vehicle. I keep trying to leave, but they would return and tell me how they had cashed in favors to get my current auto loan interest rate on the car I was trading in reduced from 15.95% to 8.99% . They told me they had 2 lenders lined up and when I told them I wanted to think about it overnight, they insisted they had put a lot of effort into the financing and it really was good for my credit to get the reduction. I accepted the deal and signed the contract and left my 2006 Ford Mustang GT with them and drove off with the FJ Cruiser. Four days later I got a call from their VP Finance, Tyler ..., who asked me to come in and sign additional paperwork. I took the call at work, so I didnt question the reasons. I went in and he wanted me to sign a new contract for 16% interest. This upset me greatly, as I had spent several hours negotiating in good faith (they had actually held onto my car keys and removed the license plates from my car so I wouldn't leave the first day), but apparently they were not negoatiating in good faith. They did, in fact, show me a paragraph in the contract that allowed them to change the original contract based on final financing. This was very deceptive and a form of bait and switch. I had given them two checks for a down payment: 1 for $1000 and the other for $800. They had deposited the one for $1000 and when I returned to sign the new paperwork, they had almost sold my car to someone who was there at that time looking at it and who test drove my car, before I was even aware of their final contract or had agreed to it. It took me 3 trips to the dealership to get my money back and they were quite unapologetic about their tactics. How can this type of contract be legal? I in the State Attorney General's and BBB's website that several other complaints have been filed against them. Once they knew they weren't going to have my business, you could just tell by their obvious lies they are a very unethical company. I guesa their owner, who has an office right upstairs, encourages this behavior, because as you can see from the reviews this has been a pattern for a few years.

The last part of May, I bought a new loaded F-150, getting the vehicle was okay and as I filled out the tag paperwork for Oregon I was asked to sign a affidavit style form for Veteran tags which I did. Twenty-nine days later my wife gets a call that I have to get down there right away and sign the same or another piece of paper. That was on a Monday, when I called to verify my tags were in, I was told no one had called. Later that night talking with my wife she understood I had to sign the paper so they could order the tags. I had to go out of town the following day but when I came back I went down there. Well the 30 days were up and they had already sent the paperwork forward to the state, so I was going to have to settle for regular tags.Are regular tags so bad? No I never had veteran tags before and the cars all ran fine and I thought nothing of it. But the opportunity presented itself and yes I wanted them so that is what I expectedAnd here is what really ticked me off. They had my home phone, Cell phone and e-mail address, three ways to contact me the first week, second week, third week, and the beginning of the last week if they were of a mind to. But I believe they are anti-veteran, no other reasonable explanation for it. Why else wait till the last minute and then blame it on the veteran/customer?Well I know they say I can go to DMV myself, but I won't. I only put one set of tags on, thats it.Am I going to go get my first service there? It's free! I'll pass I don't knowingly frequent anti-veteran establishments.

Very good salesmen. Extremely alert, helpful, and well dressed. Friendly and fast. I could find no fault at all. I wasn't pushed, and I progressed through the sale with no problems EXCEPT for a very long delay to visit with the finance man. A woman ahead of me had to read every word and comma in the contract and held up other customers. Hint to Damerow: put such customers into another room to study the contract and allow the others to proceed through the finance department.I have a few problems with the new car showroom. It needs painting and updating on fixtures. I felt like I had regressed into the 1960s in there. There is a great need for comfortable seating, more magazines, a decent coffee station, and a few more smiles from the staff upstairs as they came through the showroom. I would suggest they keep in mind who is paying their salary. The salesmen could show them how to be friendly.It is all about impressions. Visit a few other dealerships and take some notes. Update, update, update. Otherwise, I was very pleased. The plates arrived in a month and the salesman put them on. I drove away quite pleased and will recommend the dealership to anyone looking for Fords.

I went in with the intent to buy. A gentleman by the name of Tracy came out to assist me in finding the vehicle I wanted. Unlike most dealerships where the dealers lurk over you like some kind of vulture, Tracy gave me some room to scope the cars out on my own yet was on hand any time I had a question. To make a long story short(er), at the dealership, if something could go wrong on my end, it did. Whether it was my insurance getting flinchy, or my contacts not returning calls, Tracy stood by the entire time. After the outrageous time that it took for my insurance to finally ship over the right information (a humiliating 5 hours, embarrasing, I know), Tracy still had the patience to help me get the absolute best deal possible. I came in being told that my loan would have 15% interest, yet with all of Damerow's excellent service, dedicated professionals, and great contacts, I drove away in the car I really wanted with an outstanding interest rate. When they say that they will do anything to help you, they really mean it. Tracy really went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I got the best deal possible. I cannot suggest them strongly enough. If you are in the market, go to Damerow and be sure to ask for Tracy. The whole crew is simply the best.

I went in with my 2002 Mustang GT and needed some new tires put on. I had an appointment at 1:30. I get there a litle early give the keys to Gabe who alks around the car and checks the VIN and then tells me Im all set and to have a seat in the lounge. IT TOOK THEM OVER 2 HOURS TO PUT TIRES ON!! 2 HOURS!!!! JUST FOR TIRES! I asked them what was taking so long and I was told they only have 1 tire machine and everyones using it, which was a flat out lie, because there were only 7-8 cars in the bay being worked on and they werent getting new tires put on... Even if everyone was using it, I had an appointment...dont tell me to come in at 1:30 if you cant start working on my car till 3:00.Even worse, I came in with a loud squeak coming from my passenger side front end, which I had assumed was either the balljoint or tie rod end, as these are know to go out in mustangs and I have had to get them replaced before. I told Gabe about this before had and asked him to figure out what it was so I could get it fixed. I even asked how much it would cost to change my balljoints in labor and was quoted about 280. Which, I accepted and was just waiting to hear what I needed to replace.... I get the car back and ask what is wrong and I swear they tell me "we couldn't find anything wrong with it, everything looks fine" Are you kidding me? I come in trying to give this place business, telling them to diagnose a problem so they could fix it in return for money and they just tell me "I dunno whats wrong" Geez man, how are you gonna say that to a customer? I took my car to another dealership right afterwards and they figured it out in 5 mins, it was the balljoint. They even took me in the bay and showed me what was wrong and some other things that were getting worn out. So, Damerow mechanics are either really really bad at the job, or they just lie. either way, its amazing this place is still in business. Do not go to Damerow Ford.

We went into Damerow ford June 8th to look at a 2005 Ford F150. The salesman Jake Person and Manager sold us the world on the truck.They brought us a Damerow certified inspection sheet and went on about how there team is the best and they stand behind there truck etc. Well the radio buttons dont work on steering wheel (I was told I could go pay to have fixed by jake person) and steering wheel is bent in from pressure or other force which is pressing airbag which could cause early activation or not activate at all, heater is super loud when turning on and the seatbelt is unsafe for the road because it sticks all the time. There inspection team marked all of these OK on checklist. We were told they will take care of any problems we may have but have fixed nothing.I complained about rust being on the truck all over bottom and bed and was told by manager that there is a unlimited corrosion warranty on truck from ford and if it rusts through it will be taken care of. Well come to find out the warranty is only 5 years and it just expired on the truck and it has rust hole under new bed lining they installed and all underneath truck with a warranty that didn't really exist.(They did spray undercoat but did not fix rust hole after)I asked about the checklist, and why they checked items off that worked, when in turn they didn't. The sales manager gave me a direct statement that the service department assumes things work with visual inspection. Assuming that things work, he said that they cannot physically check everything. Therefore, they have put themselves in a bind now. The service team "assumed" everything worked, and come to find out it doesn't. Showing a consumer a check list of working parts, makes you believe that a full inspection was done. Also, the sales manager specifically stated that the service dept. knew the seat belt needed to be fixed, and when the part came in it wasn't the right one. Then they sold the vehicle to us before the right belt came in. To date, the seat belt is now fixed; however, there are other underlying issues that need to be resolved.After being sold on the vehicle from their sales team that EVERYTHING was in working order, and then shown the checklist that EVERYTHING is in working order, we the customers should not have to "once over" on the vehicle. If the dealership is telling us that EVERYTHING works, then it should. In the end the cruise control doesn't work and the audio functions do not work on the steering wheel. The check list is wrong, as well as the sales team. Not EVERYTHING worked on the vehicle. We want them to live up to what they sold us on the vehicle. In order to make this happen the dealership needs to replace all wiring that they told us was completely cut up, and if the steering wheel needs to be replaced in order for these functions to work, then they need to do that as well.

Wish I would have read over the other reviews before I began my nightmare of purchasing my car through them! They tell you one thing to get out the door, and its a while different story the next day after you've already signed the paperwork! I have never taken time to write a review like this, but thought it was necessary because I wouldnt want anyone else to go through the hassle I had to go through. Its been 6 weeks since my purchase with them, and I am STILL dealing with them, in trying to get all of my paperwork straightened out. That is absolutely absurd, I have purchased several cars before this one and it has NEVER taken this long to finish up with everything!! I would never ever suggest this dealership to anyone, this place is a joke!!

truck was not ready at 5pm as aggreed on when i made the appointment a week in advance and when i dropped it off at 8 am, I had to wait until 6:10 pm whichmade me late picking up my children at daycare and having to pay additional money to the day care provider for the overtime care. Of course my children did not eat until much later causing my diabetic child to go into insulin shock and requiring medical care that night. All for a brake job on my ford truck...............

We stopped by Damerow on the way home from a Costco authorized dealer where the salesman had been very helpful, and had sold me on the idea of the Fusion Hybrid with a test drive. He had what I was interested in, but it was black. He probably said he could get a white one, but we were only browsing, so I thanked him and left. We had decided when we were ready for a new car, the Fusion Hybrid with most options, in white, would be it. I told Matt, the Damerow salesman, that we were just looking, and that the previous dealer didn't have it in white. I just wanted to see one. He offered a test drive and I said yes, that my husband hadn't gone on previous test drive, so would like him to try it even though they didn't have the one that I wanted to look at. I said my car had been totaled, and I was planning on buying a used Windstar.During our test drive, Matt said that there was a tax credit on the Fusion hybrid. I told him, no that had ended 3/31 the day I was rear ended, as I had checked online. He assured me there was another one after that, but was only around $800.00, not as much as the one that had ended in March. It would be over sometime later in April or May. That statement got me in the showroom.In the showroom we were double teamed by the addition of what I assumed was a step up salesman, to help Matt. His name I was later told by Matt was also Matt which was what had me confused. He was also very pleasant in a salesman kinda way( though that isn't reflected in my friendliness rating as I don't consider lying and manipulating friendly behavior). He was able to find our perfect car, at the same price as the costco dealer. "They would be losing 700.00, or 800.00,( I'm not sure of exact #) on the deal but they wanted to make a sale" I of course knew this to be salesman cow poo, but I didn't care, if they would meet what I thought was a reasonable price, for the car I wanted. They would have to bring it from Olympia though, and the car would have additional miles on it, since it was coming so far. Next step was the finance guy, who said he had been "friends" with my husband's late father. We were of course idiots(my word, just the way we felt) if we didn't buy his product, and before it was over, we had agreed to things that only sick, injured, and tired, people give in to. I had previously agreed to the etch nonsense, then he got me with the extended warranty. I had already put 2K on my credit card, which would "keep my car from being sold". I was now asked to write a check for the balance, which I told him I would cover the next day, as I didn't have 30k in my checking. I told him I would get it from another bank, and put in my CU account. He said no problem. It never occurred to me they would cash it before I had even seen the car, let alone before the deal was finalized. While I was talking with Bret, my husband asked Matt how we get the tax credit? He answered your tax guy would take care of it. I'm thinking that's odd, isn't there some paperwork? So we left exhausted with no information or paperwork of any kind. Not even my credit card receipt.Next morning, brains working, so I called young Matt, and told him to cancel the 2K worth of add ons. He was very pleasant, and said no problem. I asked, shall I come in and get my check, and write a new one? He said, "we would do that when we come in to get the car"I went to the bank were my money was, to get money to deposit in CU to cover new check. I decide to save time I would just put it in checking there, and write the new check on that account.Next I go online to find the procedure for Fed tax credit. As before, no tax credit. Called State of OR, no tax credit.Returned to Damerow to cancel deal based on mistake(lie). The older Matt brought papers to prove tax credit was still available. I showed him it was over by date on the printout, so he continued farce by going away, and coming back with another printout, which I said wasn't dated, he left and returned, then agreed it was over, and that they just weren't aware it was over, so they would give us another maintenance contract for free. I said we had only been going to buy car now, because of tax credit, so there was no reason to buy a car today, without a looming deadline. I said we're hungry,so will discuss new offer over lunch.At this point I should have asked for check back, but since I was already told that I would get my check back when the car came I didn't even think about it. They said don't make a decision until you see the car.We of course weren't hungry as we had lost our appetites over all the cow poo!I asked my husband if he wanted to check out Landmark, where friend had bought. My husband was very disapointed we weren't able to buy a new car as he thought I deserved it, after all I'd been through, between the accident, injury issues, and then Damerow(or he just wanted a pretty new car). At Landmark a very helpful saleswomen verified that yes they knew the credit had expired. She showed me exactly what I wanted, to my surprise, because Damerow had to get what I wanted from Olympia. As I told Damerow I really wasn't going to buy today we just hoped to see a car in white with leather. She stopped a dealer trade so I could have it, if I decided I wanted it. Should have clued me in, but I'm slow. She matched the price I had from Damerow,that I originally got from Canby, but not the additional maintenance plan that was Damerow's last offer. At this point I would have paid more, rather than go back to Damerow, so that wasn't an issue. She told me yes, it was a good price, but they would still make something on the deal:)I told her I thought they just did this for the fun of it!The Landmark business manager offered us add ons, and respected our decision. No pressure? Oh, and it turned out the car I bought fom Landmark, with 2 miles on it after my test drive, was the same car Damerow said was coming from Olympia with extra miles on it. What were they going to do with my car, to get the mileage where they said it would be? Yes it was the same vin# as the printout Damerow gave me about the Olympia car.Happy ending right? Not! I drove up to Damerow in my new car, which the sales manager, Jake asked if I got from Landmark. He said Landmark called, and said the trade was off, as it was sold. He added he also thought the rebate was still in effect, when I told him was the reason for our bailing out. He then told me, since I didn't call, (which I did a couple of hours before, before I purchased at Landmark, but Matt didn't return it)I had to wait until morning to get my check back. The same check Matt had said, I could get when I came in to get my car. I gave them extra time the next day, and returned in the afternoon. Was told to sit on couch and wait.....After short wait, I was afraid I might lose it, so called my husband to save me from myself, and I left. He drove from the eastside to pick up check. The 4th person to tell us he thought the credit was still in effect, said he was in a meeting upstairs and he would have to inform the staff of this fact. He then told my husband that the check was already in the system. Upon hearing this, I went to my CU to find it had bounced. I then put a stop on it, so it won't keep racking up charges. Luckily I had paid Landmark from the other account. The one I funded to cover the new check I was going to write to Damerow, to replace the one I told them not to use the morning before. One more issue that at this point I didn't know was an issue. I was watching the 2K charge to my credit card that had been pending all this time. I knew how that worked. It would expire, and I wouldn't actually be charged if they didn't finalize it at Damerow. Yep, 24hrs after I asked for my check back they finalized the pending charge. I called visa to verify that was actually what had been done. Visa was very helpful, so in the end it won't be a problem, but good grief!Expensive learning experience? Could have been worse...I got out! I've read other peoples experiences...To bad I read them after my shopping trip, not beforeUpdate: Young Matt called today 4/9. He said he was returning my call. He didn't realize that it was made on the day of my car purchase 4/6 (The call I made from Landmark to tell Damerow we were definatly not accepting their last offer). I told him that the mistake about the tax credit, what I considered a lie, was the deal killer. He then accused me of sneaking around behind their backs, prior to when we actually went to Landmark, and before we went in to Damerow to cancel the deal. He also told me the tax credit was still in effect, and read dates and dollar amounts to me. He said I should check it out, I assumed since I had bought one? He also said before or after the reading of the info, I don't remember, that it was cancelled because it ran out of money, but no one knew it.I told him they knew it at Landmark. I said something about slimy tactics, as he was giving his revised version of what happened. He said he was a good saleman and he didn't need to lie to sell cars, and I was a liar, and the worst customer he had ever had. By the end of the conversation, I was shaking and he was speaking loudly and not letting me comment on his tyrade. He then hung up on me.At this point if he had appologized for my inconvenience, I would have accepted his apology and gone about my financially strained life, with my pretty new car, and chalked the ordeal up to one of life's downs, that make you appreciate the ups. Instead I'm back here trying to type away my frustration. OK, done....Unless I have something positive to say:) Update: This is as positive as I can get...I talked on the phone to the other Matt who as it turns out is the general manager. He was not aware that Brett told me it was no problem waiting until I transfered funds. He was not aware I called at 9:15 the next morning and said I would write a new check, to reflect the 2k difference after cancelling the add ons, and pick up the old check, or that Matt said that it wasn't necesary to come in, we could do it later. He was not aware I called within an hour of leaving damerow to say I would be in to get my check, but Matt didn't return my call. He wasn't aware Matt finally returned my call yesterday 4/9/10. He wasn't aware that Matt continued to read me outdated information about Tax credits, or that he acused me of being a liar and went on and on about what a terrible person, and a customer I was. He said it is my fault for writing the check and not having 30,000 in my checking account when I wasn't planning on buying a car, or trusting the finance guy, or the salesman to do as they say,(true enough, duh, at my age you would think I would know not to trust anything you are told, by anyone at a car dealership, at least Damerow). Wouldn't it be nice if I was credited 2000.00 to my credit card, without having to go through the dispute process. The older Matt said they would:)

I found the vehicle I wanted on CL - it was listed with Damerow Ford. I live 120 miles from Damerow, so most of the discussion and negotiation was conducted with Matt on the phone. It's always a risk to show up at a dealer to buy a used car, you never really know what you might get. As it turned out, Matt was honest, helpful, attentive to my concerns, and bent over backwards to work with me. I took the train to Portland on a Sunday and Zach picked me up at the train station in the vehicle I wanted. Zach was well-informed about the vehicle and if he didn't know something, he said so. Even the financial representative was animated, friendly, explained options, and was very helpful. The Damerow team I worked with was simply first rate, trust worthy, and committed to making sure I got what I wanted. As far as a car buying experience goes, it was positive and even a little fun. If I buy another used car or new Ford, I would call them and ask them to help me out with it and I know they'd gladly do so.

Ok I go in buy a car for what I want, then after I work the deal, I go in and sing the paperwork they throw a warrenty on me for $2788.00 and some window etach crap for an extra $400.00, telling me my car might get stolen. So I singed the warrenty stuff, and did my research, and check all this stuff out. After I did my reasearch I canceled every littel ad on they threw at me, which was a waiste of money. Come to find out the car was still under a warrenty so no need for that. Then after 3 days the guy calls me back with a attiude, saying I made them look bad because I told them I was preapproved, and he said I wasn't, which I was because earler that day I talked to the bank and was confirmed I was. So they talked me into going threw there bank because they can get me a better rate which they did and I was pleased with. So I contaceted this bank, and they confirmed I was approved, and I went back in and singed paperwork. Now 2 days later I get a call, and they tell me, I am not a member and they dont have a car deal this brett guy is a idiot, because later on they said they would have to set me up to be member which the lady said she told this brett guy he had to do. So I assumed as a customer he had it taking care of. This guy has a small man attiude and think his shit doesnt stink, and sucks at being a finance guy, and made me feel like I was anoying him, being there sorry buddy if you didnt make any money off of me. Oh by the way the sales crew is ok but the manager is a pretty cool guy as well.

This dealer lied and lied to us..beat around the bush about numbers wouldn't give us the amount of finance. It was a TERRIBLE experience, they are the most unhonest people we have ever dealt with. I would NEVER purchase a car from them! They covered their face and talked about me while I was at the dealer. It was awkward. I felt like i was about to get the most ripped of deal of my life. I was very nice and pollite but they were not so. They wanted a bunch of money down. Pass this dealer up, there are much better prices eleswhere. Good luck!

My wife and I came in on a Sunday, armed with all the info we needed, including a purchase plan thru my employer totally expected to be jerked around. But found our salesman Aaron Jungwirth to be very knowledgable about not only the car we were interested in but went out of his way to research my employee plan and assist me in buying the car thru my plan. Later that night my wife and I had to laugh about how we had put up our guard expecting to be run thru the mill, yet were totally taken by surprise due to Aaron's professionalism and honesty.Still not a huge Damerow fan, but definitley a huge Aaron fan! Thanks Aaron!

I came in to by a Fusion. I had done my homework and was prepared. A.J (Mr. Jungwirth) was informative, helpful and very pleasant. Not at all what you normally think car salesmen are like. I left buying the Fusion , feeling very confident that I had gotten a fair deal. I would definitley by from Damerow Ford if A.J. was selling me the car!! The only thing that could have made the deal any more perfect was if A.J. WASN'T married!!

We had a total of four different sales people talk to us during within an hour. The young man who helped us first was very sweet, but when it came to talking about price their were three others involved. We had settled on a price with Joe, including a hand shake, but it changed quickly and we got the run around. Joe even called the dealership we were heading to next, to see if the car we were going to check out was still there. He lied and told us it had sold, however when we drove up the street to the other place it was still there. It was the worst sales experience eith of us have ever had.

After trading my vehicle for a truck from Damerow Ford, I get a call from Jerry a WEEK later telling me they couldnt get me a loan. Of course I brought their vehicle back and got my car back...I demanded for my downpayment(check for $1000) to be given back to me, but Jerry told me I would get it in the mail. So I waited another week, when to my surprise I find my checking account to be completetly overdrawn! Instead of mailing me my check, they deposit it! Causing me to have 13 overdraft fees, a bounced check and late car payment. I contacted Damerow for a full week about this problem. ALL I WANTED WAS MY MONEY BACK that they stole! Finally after talking to 3 different sales managers, GM's, finance people I got my $1000 back. BUT, they refused to pay for the overdraft fees that THEY created! 13 overdraft fees equaling $455! Why should I have to pay for something I didnt do? They stole my money, ruined my bank account, caused me to have a late payment on my current car...I told them I was gonna get whats rightfully mine. On Saturday January 24, 09 my Ford Taurus experienced a failure to start condition. I had the vehicle towed to Damerow Ford and was later advised that the fuel pump had failed. It was recommended that in addition to replacement of the fuel pump the fuel filter be replaced and a minor vacuum leak at the pcv valve be repaired. The Service Advisor gave me the repair costs and indicated that if all the recommended work was performed the dealership had a special 10% discount. While the price seemed high I had to get the unit repaired quickly and assumed Damerow would charge a price competitive with other local dealers. Accordingly I authorized them to proceed with repairs and the vehicle was picked up January 27. After delivery I decided to check costs with other local dealers. I found that the fuel pump, which Damerow charged $387.67 for, has a list Ford price of $283.38 and is available at all the other dealers for that price. The fuel filter was charged out at $24.95 and other local dealers charge the Ford list price of $19.67. These MSRP prices can also be found online.Labor costs are a more questionable item but based on the work done, as detailed on the Damerow work order, other local dealers quoted significantly lower costs for the work.Based on the above I contacted the dealership the afternoon of January 27 to ask if they had made an error and overcharged for the parts. The Service Advisor promised to look into the matter and promptly get back to me. Having no call by that Friday, January 30, I called and was advised that on checking with the parts dept. they had indicated to the Advisor that the prices charged were the prices they had the parts on the books for. The Advisor did indicate he would check further with the Service Manager and advise.The following week I had a routine customer satisfaction call from the dealership and advised them of my concerns and that I had not received any call back. They promised to have the situation reviewed.On Friday, February 6, the Service Adviser finally called and indicated he had been instructed to check other local dealers prices and that, having done that he would get with the Service Manager and call me back that day.Having received no calls I contacted the dealership Wednesday February 11. I was ultimately put in touch with the Service Advisor who indicated he thought he had left a message for me and must have used the wrong number. In any case he advised that the prices charged are set by the owner of the dealership and regardless of MSRP the dealer would not amend the charges.Based on my calls it seems evident that the discount the dealer gave was more than offset by the inflated parts prices and labor charges. I am also left with the impression that the dealership routinely sets parts prices in excess of MSRP.I would recommend avoiding this dealership unless you are willing to pay for inflated repair costs. You might also check with BBB on this dealership. They are not a member of BBB and their rating is less than sterling. As for me they will not see my three Fords or me again. Nor will I consider dealing with this company on my next new vehicle.

Purchased a used vehicle, with low mileage, from Damerow Ford. Before the I even got home the coolant light came on. I added more coolant, a few days later the coolant light came on again. This problem continued as I tried to get some resolution from Damerow Ford. I took it to a mechanic who found hydro carbons in the cooling system which indicates it has either a cracked head or a blown head gasket. I've lost total power at 55 MPH four times now. A dangerous situation at that speed when all of a sudden you have no power steering, no power brakes and a sudden reduction in speed. Damerow Ford says too bad for you, should have bought the used car warrantly. Later found out by Carfax, car had been in accident and Damerow purchased it at an auto auction to put on their used car lot. I also have since found out they have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau. I understand why! Buyer beware if you plan to purchase a vehicle from them. Don't make the same mistake I did, I am now looking at a $1,700 repair job on a vehicle I paid over $14,000 for that isn't even fit to drive!

First they claimed by telephone to be in the "COSTCO" car purchase program. I went to buy an Escape Hybrid, and chose one on the lot. They claimed the price was discounted from the sticker, but when negotiations started, they tried to charge me a $3000 PREMIUM! I got up to walk and ended up paying full sticker and no premium. When I checked with CostCo, they were NOT part of the program and CostCo had to write to them to tell them not to claim to be part of their program. Used car salesmen same as new car salesmen. Shop at Landmark at least they'll tell you the truth!!

I went into the service department and needed my vehicle repaired. They quickly had my vehicle in the service station area. I soon was informed that my vehicle was in very bad shape. It was so nice to have a place recommend not to fix my vehicle because the vehicle was not worth as much as the repairs needed. They referred me to their sales department and introduced me to a manager. I will be back and use them again.

I ordered an Escape Hybrid in Dec. 07. based on a MSRP quote provided by the sales staff at Beaverton Ford. I agreed to a price and paid a $1,000 deposit. I followed up a couple weeks later and was promised paperwork confirming the order, but received NONE. I checked in periodically and NEVER received anything written nor any information about adjustments to the price. I was also told the delivery would be approximately 8 weeks. When the vehicle finally arrived 13 weeks later and I went to pick it up - the price was over $1,580 higher! Since the hybrid is in demand and could be sold within a day to someone else - my original agreement was not honored (or frankly in my opinion considered in any subsequent negotiation) - I had to wait three months to find out about this price increase, due to their lack of follow through. FYI - I have yet to see the return of my deposit.

These guys kept me waiting 5 hrs. with thier back and forth comments of "it'll be just a little while", "just 10 or 15 mins" etc. By the time I got to the paperwork the numbers weren't what I thought they should be, plus I felt they ripped me off on my trade-in. I'm still waiting for my canopy for the new truck...we'll see if that materializes or if I have to contact an attorney!

I brought my Ford Explorer with a serious transmission problem into Damerow, so far I've been told<br><br>Day 2: Definitely a transmission problem, not a transfer case problem est $900 and the parts will be here in # days.<br><br>Day 4: Parts arrived, transmisison done, but there is also a transfer case problem, cost to FIX is addl $400-$600 but we have the parts and it will take one more day.<br><br>Day 6: We did not have the transfer case parts it will be another 2 days, the cost is an additional is $800-$900. The initial estimate to "fix" was only to open the transfer case.<br><br>Day 7: No contact.<br><br>After 8 days at Damerow has offer to rent a vehicle to me. <br><br>Damerow Never has called I had to initiate all calls!!
