I highly recommend DAngelo Auto Sales, I purchased a 2008 Z4 from them; the negotiation was easy since we both had the same ending price in mind; it was an "as is purchase" and therefore the dealer had no responsibility for the car after I drove it off the lot. When I did discover a couple of issues and brought it to their attention David had me bring the car back and they fixed the problems on their own dime. Who does that? Only someone with dedication and integrity!

DAngelo Auto Sales is a perfect example of an honest business that thrives due to excellent customer service. I first found David in 2009 when I bought my Audi A6 from him. It was a beautiful fully loaded car that he was able to offer me for half the price of the same car new. It was a lease return and still under warranty. I drove that car until recently when I sold it with 113,000 miles on it. I went out to he and his Dads place of business again and told him exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a black on black Mercedes E350 4matic. I had time for him to find me exactly what I wanted. In a couple of months, he found the perfect car. Again, I was able to purchase a two-year-old car still under warranty and fully loaded with navigation, back up camera, keyless entry, sport appearance package, and more, for under half the price of a new same car. That is huge depreciation in two years! The only problem I saw was the stitching on the front seat was beginning to pull apart. He purchased the car, had it delivered from out of town, had the stitching repaired, and had the car serviced and detailed. To top it all off, he delivered the car to my home in West Linn with all of the DMV paperwork in order for me to sign and then he handled all of the transaction. I just had to get into my beautiful new luxurious car and drive it. The entire transaction was seamless and given white glove treatment. I couldnt recommend this business more highly.

I looked at several different cars from several different dealerships and their sales people reminded me all over again why I hate car shopping. I have been very happy with the Volkswagen Beetle I purshased from D'Angelo's. The only issue arose once I received my license plates and the car did not have a front bracket for a license plate. I called Doug and he met me and installed one right away. I can't speak for the kind of car you may be looking for and if they carry it but I can tell you that their customer service can't be beat!

My purchase from beginning to end was amazing. The first car I looked at I went through my bank, I was approved but crappy rates and a lot more down. The next day I chose to look at a car with David! All aspects were amazing! Quick easy approval, no down and love me new car!

This was my first experience buying a used car, and I was not looking forward to it. I had e-mailed several dealers in my area and got what I expected..."come in, and take a test drive, and we can make a deal!" I told David that I really wanted to negociate through e-mail, and did not have time to just come in. He talked to me about price, what he had available, and I told him my bottom line, and, and he told me his, and why. When I decided this was the car for me, I took the train down from Seattle; he met my train with the car, and let me drive it to his dealership so I could get familiar with it. I said I would need to be able to drive it right back to Port Townsend, and he said it would be in great shape for that. Well, It was! It had more that half a tank of gas, and I drove that Smart car through the worst rain storm I had been in in decades, and it drove perfectly. He had taken it to his shop, and it had a fresh oil change, and I could not be happier with my Smart car. If I am ever in need of a car again, I will happily make the trip to Portland to shop from Dave D'Angelo! Vicki in PT

After visiting several dealers to negotiate on the Audi Q5 we wanted, we went to see DAngelos Audi expecting to have the usual negotiation. We are so happy we did, as it was the best car buying experience weve had (and weve purchased over 10 cars in our lifetime). This father/son family team are super nice people and we enjoyed the test drive, negotiation, some fun side discussions, and even after sales support. David ran around and took care of some minor maintenance and registration/dmv chores before we picked up our Audi. This is something Ive never seen when buying used cars, so we were very happy. They have a rich network for maintenance so we check with them for references and deals before we take our care in for any maintenance. Its been 2 months now and we absolutely love our car. We trust them and we immediate referred our nephew to them and they are in the process of finding/buying a brand new hard to find BMW 235. They make the care buying experience very pleasant, and needless to say they have our immediate and extended familys future business. We highly recommend DAngelo.

If you want a nice car buying experience deal with David D'Angelo. He deals mostly in lease returns and of course when someone leases a car they want to return it in good condition. A lease requires regular maintenance so the car has most likely been maintained by the dealer. Beyond that David is knowledgeable in all aspects of automobiles including financing. We recommend David D'Angelo for a fair and honest deal on any car.

I looked on the net for the car I was interested in buying. D"Angelo had the only 2 in the vicinity. I called them to say I was coming all the way from West Linn to see the cars. When I arrived the cars were out front side by side. I test drove them both, made up my mind and owned the car within an hour. Didnt haggle for a minute as the price was right and everyone deserves to make a living. Father and son both very knowledgeable and fun to deal with. They now have a customer for all my auto needs.

My wife and I just purchased a used Smart Car from David at D'Angelo Auto Sales. I must have called David6-8 times asking questions about the car and if it could be towed 4-down behind my motorhome. David went well above what I would expect him to do in calling dealerships and mechanics finding the answers I needed.When we came to his dealership we had the choice of two Smart Cars in stock and David and his dad worked with us to make the choice easier.Through no fault of his own, the one we chose had a faulty key fob and would not lock the car properly. David jumped right into action and transported the car to the Smart Car dealership and it was repaired under warranty. We are thrilled with the car and the good over and above service we received.

I am so glad we found D'Angelo Auto Sales! Great cars which were stored in a warehouse instead of a parking lot under the harsh elements! I haven't had to visit a car lot for 15 years and I wasn't looking forward to dealing with car salesmen so it was a refreshing and delightful experience to deal with this father and son dealership. I felt the car I purchased was reasonably priced with a good offer on my trade-in. Since it was getting late when we were finalizing our deal, David offered to hold the car for me with a small deposit and deliver it to me in Vancouver, WA when I got home from work the following evening with the necessary paperwork to complete the transaction. It was a good experience without the usual pitches and games one would find at a car lot. A few days later we received a very nice card with a photo of us and our new car on the front and some delicious brownies as a kind thank you. It was the first time I could say that I actually enjoyed the buying experience. Thank you David and Chris!

I'll definitely returning to them for my next car. They were actually recommended by one of my friends. I drove a rental car from more than 300 miles away for the test drive, and I drove a nice car back the same day. They even drove my new car to my rental car drop off location and went back by train, just want to make sure I can drive back home early!

My wife and I purchased a used 2011 Mini Cooper from David at D'Angelo Auto Sales. From start to finish it was an excellent experience. As we were in the area we stopped by to take a look at a Cooper S we saw advertised online, and when we arrived, even though we hadn't made an appointment, David was happy to say hello and allow us to look around the inventory, no pressure at all.Needless to say, we looked around, then made an appointment to come back a few hours later and test drive the Mini. When we arrived back, David was still busy with his last customer, but made the time to come over and let us know he would be a few more minutes, and again, feel free to inspect the car.He came to join us, and we both took the mini out for a drive. It was a nice car, but I was hoping for a manual and not auto. David then showed us a newer one he had in the very back of the warehouse, but was more than happy to dig it out for us to test drive that as well. After the test drives, we decided on the manual, and arranged to come back the next day to complete the paperwork and pick it up.Again, when we arrived, David was very friendly, the paperwork took very little time, and we were on our way home with the new car very quickly.In all, from start to finish we had a great experience at D'Angelo's, and when we are ready to look at another new vehicle, we will be looking here first, and happily recommend them to anyone.Thank you David!

I had been looking for my dream car for quite some time when I found my 325I convertible it at D'Angelo Auto Sales. I called and David was more than accommodating and allowed me to come out at a time that worked for me. He gave me a review of the company and how it all got started which made me feel very comfortable right from the start. We took the car for a drive and it was everything I had been waiting for and more. He was also more than willing to offer financing through them but when that did not work out because of me not them he allowed me more than enough time to get that taken care of through my credit union and also held onto the car for me at the same time. David even allowed me to meet him at a BMW dearlship to have the car looked at before I made the purchase which really gave me more confidence that he knew the car was in great shape and the inspection also proved that. At every step of the way David did not hard sell me and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process from start to finish. He even filled up my gas tank for me when I picked up my car which was something I did not expect. Being a Sales manager myself it was a great buying experience and I will be back in the future and would highly recommend D'Angelo to anyone I know. Thanks so much and I love me new BMW. We had a really great experience with David and D'angelo Auto's. They are totally different from any other car dealer in town, and you will see for yourself once you visit them. Here are just a few perks of buying from them:1. They have great cars and they believe in their cars. They even offer a free warranty for 90 days after purchase. Just try finding another dealer who will do that.2. Great service! They mainly meet by appointment, which means that they go out of their way to fit into your schedule. We closed the deal with them at 9:00 PM.3. David has great relationships with many banks and credit unions in the area and is able to get awesome rates. We were denied by 2 different banks before David got us a unbelievable rate.4. They are a real family business unlike some other dealerships that only say "family" in their name. They have been in the area doing this for 30+ years.

I've been looking for an additional car to use as my daily driver and supplement to my SUV. I don't necessarily need a new car, so I've been pretty picky and wasn't willing to get something less than I wanted. We checked out several other dealerships and they just didn't get that, very pushy and wanted to make the sale today. I'd seen a car I was interested in on D'angelo's website, but was a little put off due to "by appointment only" policy. Don't be! From the first phone calls and E-mails David was amazing to work with. Absolutely no pressure at all. I had been considering getting rid of my SUV as well, and David made me a very fair offer on it and even came to my office to check it out and saved me a trip back to his location. This will definitely be the first place we check when it is time for our next vehicle.

I don't buy cars often. I like to buy good quality cars and squeeze every dollar out of them. Part of that is because I'm trying to be wise with my finances but part of that honestly is that I've always hated the "car buying experience". With a child heading off to college, it was time to get a smaller car. We wanted to move from away from the mini-van (praise the Lord!) and towards an SUV. After doing my homework, I found the right model for us and began shopping. I came across David's car on the internet. It was priced either at or (most often) below other dealers and private parties pricing. (I must have thoroughly shopped over 100 vehicles before making a call on my top 5 list). Somewhat dreading heading in to the process not knowing much about D'Angelo and fully expecting "the sell" to begin immediately, I was really glad when I hung up from making the appointment to feel like this was just a simple business inquiry type, cordial and respectful phone call. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and figured it would be when I got on site, or the test drive. Never happened. There were no stereotypical sleezy used car tactics to speak of. No pressure. None. Just two guys talking about the car matter of factly. That's all well and VERY good, but when it all boils down, what really matters is the car. While I'm not a fan of the hard sell, I can deal with it for the right machine. It's just hoops, but glad not to have to jump through them. Here's what separated the wheat from the chaff- This particular car had 86k miles on it. His Mechanic did the full 90k mile maintenance. Water pump, belts, everything. About 2k in tune up and replacements. I had this verified by my own personal mechanic. This is unheard of in the used car industry (I know because I was raised in it). All my guy could find was that a high beam was out (I just put in 6 bucks for a bulb tonight, done). I fully expected that on top of the final negotiated price, I'd plan to drop at least 1500 to get the car to a place of confidence. Not the case. This was presented road ready. We came to an agreeable price-point and 45 minutes later we were driving it home. Way to flip the used car buying experience upside-down David! I'm coming to you when I look for a mini cooper!

Diesel cars are hard to find that aren't marked way above blue book. The VW Bug we bought from D'Angelo was a great price and in really nice shape, especially when compared to the other cars we test drive. David was a pleasure to work with.

many negative experiences. We came across sales people who were not very knowledgeable about the cars, or were the stereotypical cheesy car salesman type, or high-pressure, I could go on... we didn't feel we could trust any of them. Car shopping at D'Angelos was such a breath of fresh air. This is a father-son run business that you can feel comfortable car shopping at. David and his dad, Chris, are both extremely nice, down to earth, genuine people who offer high quality, reliable cars. They offer a beautiful selection of vehicles at fair prices. When you visit D'Angelos, leave the games and hard-ball attitude at home- you won't need it. These guys are honest and fair, they will not try to screw you like other dealerships. We bought our Audi A4 from them and could not be happier. The customer service throughout the whole process was superb. I don't ever want to go anywhere else for any future car purchases!

GREAT SERVICE!!! We just purchased a 2012 MINI Cooper from D'Angelo at it was as easy as it gets. The process was straight forward and simple. They have a nice selection of clean cars and are not pushy at all. After shopping around at other places, it was evident that we wanted to buy from these guys. We went back to finally purchase the car from them because there attention to our questions and concerns plus they treated us like friends rather than just another customer.

I do not like writing bad reviews because I know it effects businesses alot. However, D'Angelo Auto Sales dealership has proven to be a great example of all the negative things associated with used car dealerships. Let me start my story.. and hopefully you learn my mistake with buying a car from this dealership. Hopefully, you just stay away from them. This company is run by a father and a son. While I was deciding on the car I wanted, they provided the car fax and explained to me that the car was never in an accident. This was my first used car and I didn't know the ins and outs of buying a used car. I checked out the car fax - it had clean title. I was assured that the car was never in an accident. When they delivered the car - the car was DIRTY. They didn't bother to wipe off the dust and dirt that was on the car. Unfortunately, my car was already sold and I needed a car to use the next day. Upon looking further, there were red pen marks on the roof and sunshade - not sure if it was there when I last saw it in their showroom or they used the car and messed it up before delivering it to me. I don't remember seeing them when I was viewing it. By the way, Dave told me that they use the cars as personal cars while they are selling it... not sure if that is illegal or not but they trade cars around for personal use. Unfortunately, my teenage daughter needs a car for school and to look for a job and I decided to sell my car and buy 2 cheaper cars. Mind you - it was about 1.5 - 2 months since I purchased the car. I went to the lexus dealership and they were willing to pay outright for the car UNTIL they noticed that the 2 driver side doors didn't have VIN numbers on them. They did a more thorough inspection and I was told that there was an accident - enough damage that the 2 doors were replaced. Upon further inspection, the accident involved damage from the front bumper all the way to the trunk. Of course, they wouldn't pay the original amount they offered and left me in a terrible situation. I was also told that D'angelo Auto Sales should of disclosed it and cannot claim to NOT know since it is quite obvious that the VIN stickers were not on the doors especially the door on the driver's side. I told D'angelo Auto ( Dave) about my situation and offered to change out the car since they did not disclose the damage.... I would then buy another car that they had on the floor. It would be a win-win situation. But---- being how greedy and manipulative they are they offered to take my car and swap out a car that is close to $2000 less and I would still owe them $2000. I obviously complained loudly and Dave wanted to talk to his father. During this course, he increased the price of the car I liked to almost $2000 on their website. An obvious way to not have to write a check out to me. He came back a second time and he said he'll swap out out the cars and I would still owe $500. What?! I asked.... I am willing to take in account for the time I was using the car - deduct $500 then give me the difference. He then came back and said he talked to his dad and they are willing to do the swap and give me $1000. Thinking this is the best I can probably get from them... I told them I will try to sell it on my own and to give me a week.. but I was not successful. I sent an email to them to go over the offer they gave me and at this point - NO RESPONSE. Since Dave was originally coming back with options - (rather ridiculous ones) they were trying to resolve it.. If they respond and I receive a fair option to work with - I will reconsider this review. At this point - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

The cars here are all in great shape. It is very hard to find a dealership that actually services the cars before you buy them. Chris and David are really great at what they do, and they will always give you help when needed. The quality here is really incredible, and you get what you pay for.

Insanely great!Okay, we've all be treated poorly at auto dealerships - bait and switch, long waits, lowball offers, wrong car, etc.Not here. This is my second transaction with them and they are great. They gave me $5k over what a dealer offered for my trade (yes $5k) and got me EXACTLY the car I wanted for less than I expected. When I went to close the deal, I was there maybe 30 minutes and that's because I was chatty. All the paperwork was done and ready to go.They deal in quality cars, have great ethics and I recommend my friends all go there. There's simply no reason to go anywhere else. If you don't like exactly what's in their inventory - talk to them - they go to DOZENS of car auctions a month!

I would totally recommend DAngelo to anyone that is looking to buy a car. David is not your typical car salesman. He is very friendly, courteous and consciences of your time. We were in and out in about an hour & a half. I bought a 2010 Audi A4. David took care of all the DEQ, DMV, had it detailed, took it to get the windows tinted for me and delivered it to my work. I will definitely be going back to DAngelo for all my car buying needs. I was super impressed with all the cars he had in inventory, the whole process was fun for me and that's how it should be when you get a new car! Thanks David!

Great Experience! First time in my life buying a car was truly hassle free. Dave did all the footwork before we even came in to test drive. I was very pleased and frankly surprised that he was even able to get me a loan through a good bank (with a 10 point drop in interest from my previous loan.) I was in and out with my new car after just a few phone calls and 45 minutes in their office signing paperwork. Great car selection, I didn't see one vehicle in their showroom that wasn't pristine. I had a great experience at D'Angelo Auto Sales buying my Audi. They have great prices and are willing to work with you to make everything as smooth as possible. They are pretty quick at getting everything done to get you a new car. I actually previously had a terrible experience at another dealer in Portland, and they completely turned my whole car buying experience around. I would highly recommend visiting them if you are looking for a nice luxury car for a very reasonable price. Just an overall great friendly place to go look for cars without all the pressure and typical negative experiences of looking for a new ride.

Our experience working with David was excellent. We traveled from North Idaho to Portland to complete the transaction and drove our black convertible VW Beetle back home to North Idaho. Based on the ease of the transaction, and the comfortable, genuine professionalism from David, we wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from D'Angelo's. The car is fun to drive and in excellent condition, as David represented it to be. It was refreshing to work with an automotive dealer where we didn't feel pressure, nor games being played for the sale. Thank you David.

D'Angelo's is a small volume dealer that is very interested in making your experience low key with no pressure. They specialize in German cars and carry a small, but good, clean cross section of cars from VW, Audi and Mercedes. Highly recommend visiting the dealer if you dread the usual high pressure tactics of some of the large new car dealers in the area. Prices tend to be very reasonable due to the "boutique" size with low overhead. Definitely worth the drive to Hillsboro.

I recently purchased a Volkswagen CC from the DAngelos. Hands down the best car buying experience I've had. The car I purchased was clean and well cared for and I was given a very fair price on my trade in. These guys will be my first stop when I look for another vehicle down the road.

Review of D'Angelo Auto Sales: Most car dealers are great to deal with when you initially put down your hard-earned money with them. What happens when something goes wrong AFTER the sale though? That's the true test of how they treat their customers. With D'Angelo Auto Sales (dangeloautosales.com) I was really taken care of BOTH before and after the sale. David D'Angelo was nice and professional to deal with. He knew his product and has a sincere passion for European cars. I happily purchased a VW GTI stick-shift which was great; however, I soon realized that a stick-shift really wasn't for me since it was my main commuter vehicle here in Seattle where I live. When I reached back out to David he helped me get into an automatic without any issues. With his help I ended up in a Thunder Bunny which is a dream to drive! Most dealers would've just told me the original sale was final or would've tried to profit as much as possible at the expense of my mistake. David D'Angelo on the other hand was courteous and responsive. I genuinely felt taken care of thanks to D'Angelo and will recommend them to my family and friends. Dan from Seattle

Dave was a great help to me. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It wasn't the painful "I gotta talk to a salesman experience." It was like dealing with one of my buddies. I found D'Angelo Auto Sale very helpful when coming to buy my new car. I just got a 2007 GTI Package 2 that is sick! It has tons of features that they helped me to learn to operate. They even delivered the car to my house with a full tank of gas. I would highly recommend the D'Angelo's when it comes to buying a Volkswagen.

Dave and Chris D'Angelo of D'Angelo European Auto Sales out in Hillsboro (about 15 miles west of Portland) deserve a very solid thumbs-up after the experience I had with them. These guys have done EVERYTHING to make my life easier - the kind of stuff car dealers never even think about like having my windows tinted for me, meeting me in Portland to pick up my wheels and have them mounted up for me, etc. They're both a lot of fun to talk to, know their stuff, are completely sold out enthusiasts, and on top of all that treat you quite fairly and price their cars very competitively. If anyone's looking for a used VW/Audi right now I'd definitely suggest making a call to them and seeing what they have in stock or might be able to get for you. They even have the out-of-town buyer thing all figurd out - the day Dave met me in Portland to pick up my wheels he had just flown back in from driving a car up to Seattle for a buyer. I'm just really, really impressed by these guys' obvious overboard interest in leaving you so satisfied you can't help but do what I'm doing now - rave madly about them on the forums, in the streets, etc. It was seriously the kind of experience that made me want to buy two cars from them just because it went so well.

I recently have purchased an 05 Jetta GLI from DAngelo Auto Sales. Let me say that working with David was one of the best car buying experiences of my life. After a traumatizing weekend of going dealer to dealer and being overwhelmed by salesmen trying to sell me cars that were completely out of my price range and ones that I didnt even want to look at, I was lucky enough to stumble upon the DAngelos website. I drove down from Seattle because their prices seemed very realistic and the selection of GLIs was awesome (when I went they had 6 to choose from). The best part was that David was able to get the windows tinted, add APR engine software, and deliver the car to King Station in Seattle, while keeping me well within my budget. I will tell everyone I know that if you are seriously looking for a Volkswagen or an Audi definitely look up the DAngelos. It was well worth the drive. Thanks again guys!!!

David D'Angelo was great!! He found me exactly want I wanted and the car was under my budget. He made it so easy. I loved how I only had to work with one person. There was no pressure. It was the best car buying experience ever. 3 of my friends purchased cars through D'Angelo Auto Sales and they were all very happy as well.
