We wandered into Darrell Waltrip GMC Sunday afternoon and ended the day by driving off in a beautiful 2016 GMC Acadia. Upon arriving we were fortunate to be greeted by Cody Akin. He proved to be welcoming, knowledgeable, and forthcoming throughout our dealings. He truly seemed to be dedicated to helping us find not just any car but the car we most wanted. He was patient as we processed so much new information during the comparison process and worked well with his team members to get us answers to all our questions. We couldn't have asked for an easier, more efficient handling of our buying process. This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Darryl Waltrip. Both times I was greated by very knowledgable salemen. I never felt pressured into buying something that didnt meet my expectations/need. They are very kind and courteous throughout the entire process..I had some very clear needs that I was looking for in a new/used car and they did everything possible to get me what I needed and what I wanted. The whole buying experience was terrific. I was referred here from a friend and I would definaltly refer my friends to Darryl Waltrip!! Thanks again for another superb buying experience!!! The saleman that we dealt with this time was Jacob Stovie. He was honest, trustworthy and very helpful right from the beginning. He worked with us to make sure we got what we were looking for. I feel he went above and beyond to make this experience a pleasurable one. I told him what I was looking for and he did the rest!!! Best salemen I have dealt with in a long time. He will definatly be my "go to guy" when it comes to my vehicle. I'll recommend him to all my friends and family if/when they are in need of purchasing a vehicle.... GREAT JOB JAKE!!!!!!!! I purchase a lot of cars. It's not always the greatest experience. That's not the case here. The sales person I worked with, Jake, was awesome. He was responsive and I felt like he was on my side trying to get to a price for th car I purchased as well as the vehicle I was trading. This is what buying a car should feel like. Thanks, Jake.

Walked in after just freshly being discharged from bankruptcy, no one else would even give me a chance ... We met Jake from state farm who by chance had the same name as my hubby .. Lol .. Jake worked his tail off for us and got me financed and with no money down at that ?? it took a little while but it was well worth the wait . I am very pleased with this dealership and we will be back ..... Anyone that doesn't think you can get financed this just goes to shows don't give up hope I literally just got my discharge letter lastweek and got financed today with no money down. Just come see Jake he's highly recomended

I had such a good experience at Darrell Waltrip, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I was offered a drink at least 4 times while being at the dealership. I feel like I was able to meet each member of the team, each of which would smile and say hi to everyone they would pass. I have never seen such a friendly staff at a car dealership. Our Salesman Jake from state farm was amazing. He answered each question we had with a smile, he even helped get my son into the race car in the showroom. Thank you jake for everything you have done, you have gone out of your way more times than you had to just to make sure we had the best experience possible.

I could not be more completely satisfied with my buying experience with Randy Murphy. This is second time that I have gone to him as my car dealer of choice. He did everything he could to make sure I was not only happy with the Honda Accord that I purchased but that it was exactly what I wanted. I get a little nervous at times but he has always been very patient with me! I will recommend Randy to anyone I know wanting to buy a car and I will definitely buy from him again when looking to make another purchase.

I had a very positive experience at this dealership. I had done most of my research online so I made an appointment and when I got there Brett met me at the front and had the Encore waiting for me to test drive. He offered to let me keep it over night , asked if he could call me the next day to go over any additional questions I had, and was always very conscientious of my time. He wasn't pushy or shady. I worked specifically with Brett in sales and Calvin in finance- both were very friendly and professional. I am very pleased with my car and my experience at DW Buick GMC.

If it weren't for the style and grace of this dealership along with the dedication of Cody, I would not have made a purchase here. Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills and the old fashioned handshake is their best selling points. I may not shop anywhere else again. They really put the customer first here instead of their pocket.

The difference between Darrell Waltrip Buick and other dealerships we visited was obvious from the very moment we were greeted upon arrival. Jacob Stovie was patient, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to us. He arranged our test drives and sale quickly and joyfully. At no time did we feel any pressure, or as if we were asking too much of him. He and Nico Bauer made this purchase very easy and stress free. Our son has since also purchased a vehicle from Jake and was equally satisfied. This is a very easy recommendation for me for both Darrell Waltrip Buick and Jacob Stovie.

I recently purchased an Enclave from Jacob Stovie. I thought I knew what a I wanted when I went in for a test drive. But Jake suggested I drive the Enclave over night. What a great idea. I bought it the next day.Jake and Nico made it so easy during this process. They communicated with me ever step of the way and made sure I was comfortable with my new car. It was a great experience. I was actually 90% sure I would be buying a Chevrolet that day. My experience there was horrible. Cody and the others at Waltrip were great. I have bought 4 new cars since 2001, and this was the first time I actually felt good about how everything went. I will gladly come back and hope Cody is still there.

I have always dreaded buying vehicles because of all the high pressure sales tactics. Buying a car from Darrell Waltrip Buick GMC was the first time I have ever actually enjoyed buying a car. Cody, my salesperson was very nice and knowledgeable. Nico, the sales manager and Calvin the Business manager went out of their way to make me feel appreciated as a customer. They even let me take the car over night to make sure it was going to fit in my garage!!! Thank you everyone at Darrell Waltrip for the great experience!

Dealership is very professional, friendly, very service oriented and makes you feel like family. Nico, the financial manager was excellent. Jacob Covie, my salesman was very courteous and knowledgeable of the products. He had my car ready to go including syncing my phone before I got in the car. Lawrence Martin is the greatest Manager who treated me like I was the only customer in a showroom packed with customers. I am a car nut and have purchased many cars and this is by far my greatest experience from the top/down.

One rainy day at the end of June I walked into Darrel Waltrip Buick and met Michael Sharpton. Michael was friendly, knowledgeable, and energetic. He helped me compare models and prices until we found a car that I really liked. I was offered a good trade-in value and ultimately a great price off of the list price. It has been one of the best car buying experiences that I have had. I felt like I was the only customer that mattered. Since then I have had several admiring comments about the car. I think my new 2014 LaCrosse is a car that I will enjoy for years to come.

I have nothing but praise for Darrell Waltrip Buick GMC. They have a beautiful new dealership, and the personnel from sales to service are the best around. I wasn't really in the market to purchase a new vehicle, but as I was looking around, I fell in love with a Buick Encore. Took it for a test drive, and that was it. I was worried that I wouldn't qualify for the purchase, but the Sales Manager, Bryan, and Loren in finance worked hard to get me into the vehicle. i couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. If you are looking for a new Buick or GMC, by all means visit Darrell Waltrip Buick GMC. You won't be disappointed.

I was in the market for a new 1500 and decided to look into a Sierra. Previously had a F-150. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Sierra was. I had VERY specific wants / needs and essentially gave my sales guy (Nico Bauer) an impossible task to locate what I wanted. I was very surprised to hear back from Nico so quickly that he had located one that fit my desires. That one fell through. Nico found another promptly. This happened 3 times. Each time, Nico came back very quickly with options. Finally found exactly what I wanted and worked out the price / trade / financing etc... Went home in my new truck. And I love it! Overall I was very impressed with Nico's determination and enthusiasm in finding what I wanted. Also dealt with the GM, Lawrence Martin. Enjoyed dealing with Lawrence as he is very personable, and yet still effective in his business dealings. Typically, buying a new car is a constant battle and leaves you exhausted in the end. I did not experience that with Nico and Lawrence. There was some discussion back and forth regarding sales / trade, but it was not near as bad as I have experienced in the past. Nico and Lawrence were very professional and fair in their dealings. That's really all you can ask for! All in all, it was a positive experience and would recommend them to others.

I went in to Darrell Waltrip dealer in Franklin, TN and it was amazing. Michael Sharpton, Bryan Cagle, and Loren Vanderkooi made me feel welcome. I came in looking for better transportation for my family and that's exactly what I got. A really nice compact car with a compact price. My experience here was truly amazing and a BLESSING. I brought my 2010 Chevy Cobalt in to Waltrip Buick GMC because it was overheating. They tested it for an hour and added more antifreeze and said everything was OK. I had to bring it back the next day. They were getting ready to put me on the van to take me back to work but the service manager, Jimmy Stephens, came in and I told him what had happened and that it wasn't right. He gave me a free Hertz rental car and I kept it for the weekend. Kellan (my service advisor) called me on Monday and said they were switching it to a loaner car and that someone would bring it to me at work. The loaner car was a $42,000 2014 Buick Lacrosse. Amethyst, my favorite color! Nice!!!!When they called me later that day to say they had to do a major repair on my car, I said, Keep my car, that's ok! A week later my car was fixed and it was great. The next day, it overheated again. I had it towed back to the shop and Kellan gave me the keys to the luxury loaner car. He called me the next day and said they had to order a new engine. I said, keep my car. I like this one just fine. Then on Easter Sunday, on my way to church, someone backed out of their driveway and hit the loaner car. I called the dealership on Monday morning and found out my car was ready. I showed the damage to the service manager and he said they would take care of it. I had gotten a police report and claim number and the claim was settled within a week. I got my car back and then a week later, the engine light came on. I was getting frustrated. I called the dealership and Jeff gave me the phone number of the towing company and they towed the car. The next day, Kellan called and said it was a bad sensor and my car was ready. I've had my car back for a week and so far so good. The reason I am telling the whole story is that if it is not fixed right the first, second or third time, Waltrip Buick GMC stands behind their used car warranty and they don't try to weasel out of it, like so many others have in the past. They treated me well and although it took a while to find the real problem, they kept working with me. There is even a note on the receipt stating that if I'm not happy, let them know.
