The entire experience here at DCH Honda Mission Valley was great. It was that time of the year to get a routine service and a maintenance check on my car and it was handled very well. The person that helped me out was a man named Angel; he was very concise with his work, very detailed on every step my car would be going through and was very patient with all my questions- overall a very comforting, and reassuring interaction. It was a very busy morning and was told to hang out for an hour and a half. Maybe less than an hour later, my service was done! Angel walked me through the details on my service and let me know what needs to be done with my car to prevent anything wrong in the future. The entire experience being here was smooth and took no time at all. I'm definitely going back to this location to get my service done, especially because of the A+ customer service I've received (you're the man Angel!). Thanks Honda for always making me feel welcomed.

DCH Honda was a good place to bring the car for a repair but now their customer service went down the hill. customer service does not exist anymore. I called the other day and no one picked up the phone so i had to leave a voice mail. They called me back few hours later and the person who called was not even from Service department so they said they will have someone to call back but no service person called so i drove there to get some estimate on the repair. found out they had no customers in waiting and 3 customer service person chilling. i spoke to one person and his customer service skill was extremely trouble. He did not know what parts needed and he did not even check if i ever came for service he quoted me incorrectly for wrong parts and jacked up the price for the labor. this not how one treat a paying customers who get his car repair by Honda dealer ship. Last 2 times i went to Honda i spent a bout 1600 and 200 just in repair. i really hope they fix their customer service and educate their staff properly. for people who read this review i would say look around for other dealership if you want to save time and trouble dealing with extremely bad customer service . What happened to these guys? They used to be people I could trust. I went in for an oil change yesterday. I was told it would be $210. That included checking the brakes and various systems. I told them I just wanted an oil change. That dropped the price to $77. $133 to check the brakes and battery?? The car is done and they tell me I have a nail in my tire that is "unrepairable". The tire wasn't flat so I said I would take it back to Costco where I bought it. Waited for my car to be brought to me for 10 min, then they ask me what I'm going to do about the tire. Again, I'm taking it to Costco. The guy apologizes and says no one told him. He thought I was going to buy new tires from them. I take the car to Costco and they fix the tire in under an hour. When I told them the dealer said it was unrepairable, they laughed and said it was an easy fix. So much for trusting DCH Honda.

Had a great buying experience with DCH. My Sale Associate Alex was very knowledgeable about the car I selected and the process to purchase. He provided extra time to review features of the car with me. Made the process very relaxing. Jonathan in Finance was great and assisted me with the financing chosen. My car came in for a recall for the airbag. They said it won't take longer than 2 hours but in almost two and a half hours I checked in to see when it would be ready because I had to rush to another appointment. Come to find out the car had been ready but no one had come to let me know. I was late for an appointment so I said, well I have to go, but they still didn't even have the paperwork ready. The worst thing is it was a recall for an airbag that was killing people. Shame on Honda. Secondly, especially when someone comes in for a recall you should treat them the best you possibly can. I don't think it would have been too hard to just let me know when the car was ready. One perk was that my car was clean when I picked it up and I definitely appreciated that!

I came by twice to see a used car on the lot. The first time, no one even looked at me. Strangely, I would normally love not being bothered, but this time I had some questions so was a little annoyed by it. The second time I came to see the car I had emailed the internet salesperson about it and asked if I could come by for a test drive. He did not respond, so I showed up at the lot 2 days later. Another salesperson helped me because the internet guy was busy. I waited for about 20 minutes until he was finally off the phone. Once I connected with him he was great to work with, but the waiting and lack of response was not great.

Please go and ask to work with Ferris at DCH. This was my first time buying a brand new Honda and my experience was nothing short of excellent. Ferris was very helpful and knowledgable in providing all the information I needed and letting me test drive several vehicles. That day, I came in to look at the 2016 vehicles and left the dealer with a new car! Now 10 days later, I am very happy with the car and I think DCH now has me as a life-long customer...

My Internet Sales Manager was Ferris Lau, he was very helpful explaining the cars that they have and their features to me. I was interested in the HR-V which they did not have in stock because its a brand new model for 2016.As soon as the dealership got one, they called me to come in to see it and test drive it. The negotiation portion was pretty easy with Ferris and John from Finance.They both gave superb customer service!

After a horrible experience at Ball Honda I was beyond impressed with Matt Wright at DCH I inquired online and he responded fairly quickly. They didn't have the model Fit I was looking for (it's difficult to find the ex in automatic in SoCal). He found it and had it ready for me the same day. Not once did he pressure me. He let me know what was available and listened to my needs. He really listened and made this the best car purchasing experience. He is very knowledgeable and resourceful. I highly recommend him and the dealership.

The repairs have been excellent, but at least 2 service reps very dishonest. One told me I needed 2 new tires in rear, when I had just had 4 new Michelin tires mounted by Costco 2 week previous. Once was told I needed new battery, test printout showing the battery very low. Price they quoted was high, so I declined. My car started perfect every morning so I did nothing. Next service appointment with a different service rep showed a perfectly good battery printout.

Amazing!!!! Period if you have at least 2000 to put towards a car your good. I went to 3 other dealers 2 being Honda and was told flat out" we can't help you or you will need more money or a Co signer" I spoke to hector from day one told him my situation told him about my car, he went above and beyond to help me and deal with my crazy work schedule! Jeff the manager hoped on board to help me as well to get a car and start what I thought painful process of being told yes till the last minute to hear what the others all said."we can't help" then Scott pulled some strings and got me the loan..that's all I needed to get a new car and my credit back on track! These 3 men are outstanding and if you think you can't do it...there's hope I'm now happy single owner of a car :) AND their personalities made time fly by.

Went there for oil change, also to have them check why the low tire pressure indicator came on. I put air in the tire several times but pressure went low after several weeks. I was told by their rep that I had one nail in this tire and two nails in another tire. The nails were too close to the side wall to fix. Two new tires quoted at $367. This sounded way too high, told them I would go elsewhere for the tires. I went down the street to a tire dealer. They found one nail in the problem tire that was at a location that could be easily fixed. There were no nails in the other tire! So, this Honda shop tried to sell me two tires I did not need. One last item, after the oil change, the service area did not bother to reset the oil change percentage indicator. After three tries, I still await a call back from their service manager.

Having paid cash for my V6 Touring, I wish to establish an excellent relationship with Honda Mission Valley, as I keep my vehicles for 10 years (having traded in my 10 year old Infiniti FX). My dealings, not only with John but with Scott, Saad and the General Manager have got off to an excellent start. . I purchased a new Honda Accord Coupe from Honda Mission Valley and was happy with all aspects of the sale. The same person (Dario) that accompanied me on the test drive stayed with me through the entire process and made sure all questions were answered and that I was comfortable with everything. The finance person (Derek) was also very helpful and provided me with things to consider and tried to provide the best option without making me feel pressured to purchase additional items. The staff also worked with me to find the lowest interest rate that even beat my own credit union. When I was finished with Derek, Dario again caught up with me to make sure there were no other questions that made sure I was comfortable with the process. I was very pleased with everything and would rate this new car buying experience as "excellent". I would purchase from Honda Mission Valley again in the future.

I never felt pressured into a certain car; each sales person helped guide me to the car that was the best fit for me. Our Honda rep that assisted my wife and I with our purchase was really professional, presentable/well dressed and was willing to answer all of our questions. The entire negotiation process was stress free and the Honda staff were exceptionally nice. They did not take "no" for an answer and ensured we left with the car in which we came to purchase; at a reasonable price! You don't see that too often at dealerships. After an offer was agreed upon, the good experience continued with the finance department. There wasn't any aggressive selling to add on "extras" to the car. The entire experience deserves 5 stars...A+ performance hands down. If you want to have a good experience, go to Honda Mission Valley!

I have been dreading buying a new car. I didn't want to have the pressure from the sales people trying to get me to buy something I didn't want or something I couldn't afford. I new I wanted to buy a new Honda especially the Civic because of it's new design and it's great gas mileage. But even the basic Model made me feel I was purchasing a luxury car. All the basic and standard features were everything I wanted. The price was right and the sales guy was down to earth. They didn't have that cheesy sales people smirk or you know the way they talk like they know everything. Sorry some sales people you just want to punch in the face just by the way they talk. Everybody I talked to at Mission Valley Honda especially Dario was very professional and not pushy. Even ( I hope I'm getting this right) "Derek" who convinced me to get the extended warranty to cover all the computer and engine stuff for the length of time I'm financing the car for. I feel confident I made a great purchase on a great car that going to last and get me great gas mileage. I love my new Honda and lots of people at my work want to test drive it. My kids love it especially the Blue Tooth. Making phone calls from my steering wheel and hearing it over the speaker system. Music turns off when a call comes in and turns back on when I hang up. So cool. Back up camera is great too. All the kids and animals are safe with this cool feature. It's also so quiet and smooth. You have to test drive this car to see what I mean. Thanks Mission Valley Honda. I am a happy camper : )

We found out that we needed to get another car earlier in the morning and decided on an Accord. Did 30-45 minutes of research on prices for packages we were interested in. Went to Costco's Auto program online and submitted an application. Got a phone call from Alex at Honda Mission Valley within the hour and drove down to see him. He showed us the car we were interested in and gave us a test drive. We were out of there a little over 3 hours with a new car. I can't believe how easy it was. Alex was super nice and friendly. We did not experience the stereo-typical car salesman. I highly recommend Honda Mission Valley to any first-time new-car buyers, and especially Alex. Thanks again my friend.

I went in there simply to test drive and drove away a couple hours later with a brand new 2013 Honda Pilot. Joe was AMAZING. He was patient with me through the whole process...showed me everything I wanted to see and got me the car I wanted same day without question and I drove home a happy woman. I needed someone with skills to convience him to buy a pilot becuase I rather stay in the honda family. The sells representative Tom Youngblood did a fantastic job. It was not the most professional dealership I have been to. Everybody was dressed very casual which I had not experienced in the past but I have not bought a car for 10 years. Initially I was not too sure about my sales person, but she did take very good care of me and my needs. No high pressure sales which I did appreciate. It did take a while for the paperwork to be processed but everyone was very pleasant to work with. I would go back to this dealership to purchase another car. My one real complaint was one of the salesman put on some extremely smelly medication which stunk up the entire dealership and that it something you should not have to deal with while purchasing a car. They did offer food but everything tasted like the smelly medication. It was discusting. Hopefully the sales manager can take care of the problem. I felt that was something I should not have to deal with (smell) while I was making a serious long term decision. It did bother the other sales people and cuetomers inside the dealership. Otherwise, it was a smooth transaction - smelly but smooth.

We went in to the Honda Mission Valley dealership to look at a used Odyssey. We left having leased a 2012 Odyssey. GI Joe helped us. He was very nice & I would recommend him to everyone. The facility was very nice, very shiny floors, and they have ice cream!! The buying process was average & took about 3 1/2 hours start to finish. Too long when you have two little kids in tow, but it's to be expected. So no biggie. Looking forward to great service but hopefully won't need to go in to the service dept anytime soon!

I came into the dealership and Bill Price immediately came and introduced himself and asked me if he could help me. I told him exactly what I wanted and he showed me the vehicle I was interested in and I test drove the car. The whole sales purchase was exceptionaly fast and informative. He set up my phone with Bluetooth and went through all the highlights of my new car. While we were waiting for me to sign the contract, Bill showed me where the service department was, and we got coffee, he introduced me to the Honda service representatives, and then the area where the cars are serviced, and noted how clean the areas were, and they were exceptionaly clean. My whole experience was great.

I had a great experience yesterday at Honda Mission Valley. Everybody I worked with was amiable and patient. My salesperson was Bill Price who was very laid back and really wanted me to find the car I would really like. He was patient enough to let me test drive a few vehicles and we eventually decided on a 2012 Civic LX Coupe. I'm 22 and this was the first time I have gone shopping for a new car, and I'm glad to say it was nothing like the stereotypes of pushy car salesmen on the Television. When it came time to buy my youth and limited credit history proved to be a bit of an issue. Bill introduced me to Derek Hattox and John who was a manager. Derek worked very diligently to find a solution for me. We decided on a 3 year lease, and then a purchase at the end of the lease, Derek explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood. Meanwhile Bill Price had never left us and I felt like he was a part of the experience every step of the way. At the end of the sale we went outside and Bill presented me with my keys and congratulated me. He welcomed me back anytime for future service. I work for Apple and I know how important it is to have personable and knowledgable sales people, and Honda Mission Valley sets the standard for what buying a car should be like. I will whole-heartedly recommend them to all my friends and family for their future car buying needs.

I went to trade in my truck to get a car with lower monthly payments and get a car with good MPG's. Ended up getting a new accord. Couldn't be happier. My only advice is to make sure you leave with a secured loan because they will let you leave the lot without getting it secured. It was a hassle but they made it better.

I had such a wonderful experience at Mission Valley Honda. The staff was excellent and welcoming. I did not feel any "car sales" pressure when I went to this dealership unlike others. They let me have my time with the car (alone) which I really appreciated. Every singe thing went smooth, from the sale, to writing up the contract, to delivery of the vehicle. The total time was about 2 hours including driving off the lot and they took two cars in on trade! Needless to say, I am 100% satisfied and I will recommend this dealership to anyone in the future!

This was the first car buying experience I truly enjoyed. We visited other dealerships before stopping at Honda Mission Valley and most of them lost me when they started bashing other car companies or (I swear) wouldn't give me back my car registration. I leased a new honda civic at Honda MIssion Valley and one of the reasons I did so was because of the customer service too. I absolutely love the car, but what I love more than the car is not being pressured to buy something I don't want. GI Joe, the salesman (that's his name), was straight to the point and helped me get the best deal for my payment plan and explained to me the ins and outs of leasing a car. Not once I felt pressured to purchase a car in that dealership. If you're thinking about buying a new Honda in San Diego, do yourself a favor and stop at Honda Mission Valley first.

I started my car search at Honda of Mission Valley, after 4 days of car shopping I ended up back at Mission Valley Honda. I had seen many "used car sales men" and their antics in my previous days and was getting stressed out from the whole scene. I went back to Mission Valley Honda, my salesman Alex was honest and straight forward from the start, I didn't get any pressure or stress from him at all, I felt like I was dealing with a friendly relative rather than the overbearing salesmen in the days car shopping before. At MV Honda I had no stress and no pressure, I was happy with it all and I love my new Honda Pilot. The receptionist Emily was very sweet and helpful also!

When shopping for a minivan with the family in tow, few people can appreciate and be sensitive to the need for expedience, thoroughness, unconventionality and flexibility. Well, Liz was great. She pulled up extra chairs for the kids, offered drinks, had the paperwork ready, did not try to upsell us for extras that we said from the start we did not want. There were no games but a respectful uprightness. Everything was as she promised and the finance manager was quick too. Everyone tried to speed along the process as we desired. The whole thing took less than two hours which is good for a dealership. That included vehicle inspection and we are particular. One of the best car buying experiences yet!

This was my first experience buying a car on my own and I couldn be happier with the service I received at Honda Mission Valley. I was worried I would have the stereotypical car buying experience where I was forced into a purchase and conned into buying extra features I really wasn interested in. This is not the case at all. My salesman was kind, knowledgeable and most of all, patient. They listened to what I wanted and did there best to find just that. They gave me the offer I was looking for and let me think about it for a few days before making the decision. They were efficient with paperwork and made the whole process as simple as possible.

My husband and I started not knowing what kind of car we wanted and went to test drive every car you can imagine to get a feel for what is out there. I have to say I never realized that the sales person can truly have a huge effect on whether or not you like a car or want to purchase one. We went to a Kia dealership and even if we liked the car there is no way we would've purchased from that sales lady. She was awful, unhelpful and would not shut-up. Our experience at Honda (who was recommended by friends) was awesome. People were friendly as soon as we walked in, they showed us exactly what we wanted. We got a great deal on our car. It just made us feel way better then when we first started the whole process. We would definitely recommend the dealership to our friends.

I had No intention of purchasing a Honda. . . then I pulled into this dealership and was greeted by Dario. . .Once he found out wnat I was looking for in a vehicle. . . Dario had one washed a brought up for me to test drive. This was uniquely different as I had already test driven 11 dirty cars from other dealerships. He continued to give me information on the car in between all of my many questions. Dario was very personable and accommodating. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge and had my husband join me at the dealership. . . and Dario had no problem repeating to him all the information he had previously given me. After my husband drove this vechicle and spoke with Dario. . we were so comfortable with making the decision to purchase this car! Thank You! We have purchased MANY vechicles over the past few years and this was by far the easiest and most pleasant deal we have ever made!. . . To Seal the deal we had another great interaction with Derrick the Finance Person. . and he was more than acoomodating and got us on our way in a timely fashion! All this was GREAT! The downfall was only the 2 Service Reps that were very rude and negative when I retuned to have my added accesories put on the car. . this situation was immediately rectified after speaking to the Service Reps Supervisor and the General Manager who greeted me with their apologies and an offer to make it all RIGHT! I didnt start the day off thinking I would be buying a new Honda Civic for my 16 year old daughter but that is how the day ended up and I couldnt be happier. I went to the dealership to look at used Honda Civics. They had a great selection that Alex, my sales rep, showed me and we test drove. He also suggested I look at new civics as the interest rate for car loans through Honda was at a very attractive rate and the cars hold their value very well. As a result of his suggestion I drove a new civic and bought one. Alex was great to work with. 16 year doesnt know about the car yet but she will be ecstatic! Thanks MIV Honda and thanks Alex.

After doing my own research on-line, I knew what we were looking for when I stepped in into HMV. The first salesman we met was John Le. I told him what we were looking for ( a base model) and after one unsuccessful trial, he did not push us to buy a more expensive model. He was not pushy and we like that. Everyone were nice, friendly but not pushy, polite, and although the negotiation process was a bit long - 5 hours - (it got 4 stars only because we had to play the "wait game, I go check with the manager if we can give you this or this - I think salesman should be empowered and trusted to let you know if it's a yes or no, without waiting 15 minutes each time at each step of the negotiation process to let the salesman go in the manager's office and "ask" if it'd be OK). Overall, great experience and great prices!

The mileage on my 3-year lease was up 3 months prior to the end of my actual lease. I went into the dealership to learn my options after setting up an appointment over the website's live chat system with Eric Haschke. He was very helpful. After thinking over my options for a few days, I was in touch with Eric again, when he made an even better offer. Yesterday I signed the lease for my second Accord- so far I am very happy with everything. The only slight disappointment was that I had signed some paperwork wrong (signed then printed, should have been the other way around) and the person who I signed the paperwork with called me later in the evening letting me know I will have to resign. I am going back in to resign today, which is no big deak, however this could have been avoided had paperwork been reviewed before I left the dealership. Overall a very good experience!

We went to Mission Valley Honda because they are affiliated with SDCCU. Had purchased a Civic for our son there several years ago and hoped that the process was still as straightforward as last time, and it was! Salesman Andy was friendly and helpful in getting us into our new Accord EX. And group buying price through credit union was excellent. Two picky issues: wife wanted a red car but only option for the accord was too dark. Who at Honda picks those?!? And a slight knock on dealership is its location on Mission Gorge Road. Easy to find but a little tricky to get in and out of especially closer to rush hours. Too bad they don't have access from another street so when test driving an unfamiliar car you don't have to worry about "space cadet" commuters. :-) But neither of these should deter a buyer from doing business with Mission Valley Honda.

Everyone has certain 'low' expectations of a car salesman, and the salesman I dealt with met all those expectations. He was very typical. After the initial pleasantries, the negotiation process was tense, he was full of number spinning and a bit vague with the intent to raise the price, which made the negotiation a "shady" process for me. Afterwards, the actual paperwork was a breeze and I am very happy with the actual car. Bottom line, I will not return to this dealer.

Buying a new car was a very easy and fun experience at Mission Valley Honda. The sales person was very knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in. I felt welcomed by and at ease with all of the sales personnel. The dealership was busy but I was treated as though I was the only person there. After we made our purchase, our salesman even helped us get our GPS set up to get us home! He followed up with us to make sure that we were enjoying our new ride and to answer any questions that may have cropped up. All-in-all, it was really the best new car buying experience I've had!

Mission Valley Honda are an example of the old used sales man dinosaurs that use to roam 20 years ago.They start by trying to con you that your car is worth less than it is (by printing out the wrong car details from Kelly Blue book)They insult you by saying you grossly over paid on your old car. They insult you further by saying that your car (2006 mini cooper S John Cooper works) are ten a penny and are not worth a part exchange. Finally their car knowledge was so limited they didn't even know the price or milage of the car you were looking at or what type of car you were looking to part exchange ("what car is that? A mini?")The negotiation dance takes two hours and ends up being a total waste of timeDon't buy a car from here.

This is the car dealership you were always warned about to avoid! Unethical sales practices and dishonesty when confronted about it. I always used to have my car serviced at Honda dealerships and mistakenly believed they were more ethical than independent facilities. When I moved to San Diego, I needed my car serviced so I went to Honda Mission Valley. Big mistake! I needed new brake pads and they tacked on extra fees such as "machining the rotors" without my consent. Apparently they do this often. I did not not sign any authorization form for anything until after the job was complete, meaning they could have tacked on anything. I tried to resolved the issue with the BBB and Honda Mission Valley flat out lied and distorted information. They tried to offer me a full credit of the refund I was requesting or a drastically reduced cash refund. No way would I ever go back to their facility and the refund offered was a joke, so I declined both. There are many other more honest and ethical Honda service facilities out there. Save your money and avoid Honda MIssion Valley at all costs.

Went to Mission Valley Honda to research a Civic Coupe - just sit in it, see how it felt. I'm tall, so I just wanted to know if I fit comfortably in it and whether I could afford it. The first sales woman (Katie) was very nice, not pushy, quite knowledgeable. When I inquired about the Costco Program she turned us over to Joe, the Fleet Mgr. He started with the typical car salesman smooze trying to get me to sit back into the car I just got out of, and kept pushing me to buy right then. After telling him we just wanted to know what savings the Costco program would give, his attitude actually turned nasty. His first explanation was double talk, so I pressed for more details. He printed out the sheet, but wouldn't let me take it home (even after showing my Costco card). Every time I asked a question, he just about rolled his eyes before he spit out an answer. What is wrong with these people! I'm actually going to buy a car from someone pretty soon... but, you can be sure it won't be from that a**hole at Mission Valley Honda.

I purchase an vehicle from them about three week ago, for my son. A day after having this vehicle my son open up the hood. Their were no screws holding the engine. Took the car back. They had to special order one screw!!!! this took three weeks. no call, I call them.Two week later the engine light came on!!!!!!!!!!!!! Service advisor for the used car " which is only one guy that you came talk to ,when ever he return your called".It's possible that the gas cap is not on tight first thing out of his mouth; he said drive it about fifteen time and the light should go off. You think. To make a long story short. This engine light turns out to be a lot of work that should have been done on this vehicle before they sold it to me. I took it to drew ford, they did a diag.and found that problem. Day two I'm waiting for the service advisor to get back with me. You would think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Guess what I have called him twice, no return call.
