Went in to buy my husband a birthday gift... a new car. What a mistake. The car is fine. Signed, sealed, delivered. 2 weeks later, a call from dealership asking for $500 for some"promissory" note. I was in negotiations with final acceptance. and signature was not in "Customer Acceptance" box but hand written by salesman with an X for me to sign. NO money was collected or asked for upon signing final financing, other than $6K trade in. Done, with bill of sale final, out the door in our new car. All final financing is done deal with bank. I keep asking question, "Why did the finance guy not collect $500 upon signing deal?" No answer. Devious deception. Our car is financed through bank Dennis Dillon Mazda is deceptive and slimey. Calling 2 weeks later, for a down payment, after collecting final financing and trade in, is either deliberate coersion to buy at the moment or salesman's ignorance on what to collect at final agreement. Either way, they have trade in worth $6K and we will make payments on loan on time every month. I am currently in contact with my attorney. Do not buy a car from Dennis Dillon. Frauds, deceptive sales tactics and liars!!

I was interested in leasing a CX5. was quoted on one by Brent, it was a 2016 not a 2016.5.Wanted touring with sunroof. Wanted to upgrade rimes. Base on price of rims on the CX5 on the floor I though maybe just go for the GT, even thou I wanted cloth int.Been trying for a week to get info on the newer on for a week. 1st he tells me he has been too busy to work on it. Then he will check when he gets to work, then will have something. None of this has happened.Because of the delay I had to let the buyer for my 2001 Tacoma know the truck is no longer for sale,I needed a private party sale for the extra $$$I can't deal with Team Mazda because of their BS Markup ($2995) on the CX5.Contrast your service with that of 4 dealers around Portland. Had phone calls within an hour plus email follow. Their prices are a little better then yours, but then there is the distance issue. Now I will have to wait until 2017.Update I gave them a second chance and they still failed.IF i buy a CX5 I will go to Portland. They know how to treat a customer. They replied by phone within and hour and had no problem with follow up emails with prices

On Google reviews I was surprised to see 4 and 5 star reviews when my experience was a zero... I guess I ran into the wrong people? Though I interacted with 4 different sales people, so I'm not sure how I could have given the dealership any more of a chance. I'll keep names out of it, but here's the story.I'm interested in a new car. I'm trying to decide between a CX9 and a Pilot. I'm in no huge hurry, but I'm a motivated buyer.I visited the dealership almost 2 months ago and test drove a '14 CX9. The salesman took my contact info and was going to call me back with financing and pricing. I never heard from him.Several weeks later a friend told me the '16 CX9 is totally redesigned and is a far more compelling vehicle. So I went back. The saleswoman that helped me knew nothing about the car - absolutely zero. In her defense, she'd only been there 30 days. She was polite and friendly at least.I asked if the previous salesman was around - though he hadn't called me back, at least he knew the Mazdas and was a no BS guy. He was there, so we test drove the '16 CX9. I really liked the car. The salesman again took all my info - including asking for my wife's name (?) - and said he'd call me the following day with financing and pricing details. No call.5 days later I called him. He said he was waiting for someone who was out of town - a GM maybe? - who could give him the pricing and financing specifics. I don't understand why he didn't call to let me know this, instead of making me wait and then eventually call him. And I found it curious that they couldn't sell a car without the right person being there? Bizarre... He said the person would be back the next day. He promised to call.No call.Another week goes by. I call for a sales manager. I get sent to voicemail and leave a detailed message - including my frustration and that I'm interested in buying a car.No call.2 weeks go by and I decide to call a GM. I leave a message. I get a call back. He asks for details about what I was looking for - model, trim, color. He says he'll call me back in 45 mins.THAT WAS 2 WEEKS AGO.I'm normally a "2 strikes and you're out" kind of person. I gave Dennis Dillon 5 shots at selling me a car. Not sure what I was thinking. They are convenient I suppose. Though I'm entirely unenthused about driving to Nampa, it appears that's where I'm headed.Side note: We own a Mazda5, for which I've bought many parts at Dennis Dillon. I will do everything in my power to buy parts elsewhere from now on.

I bought my 2010 Mazda 6 brand new from Gem Mazda in Tallahassee, FL. I love my car but the service department at Dennis Dillon is horrible. I paid for an oil change, change the air filter, rotate tires, align the front end plus check all the fluids, brakes, etc before I sold the car to my daughter. First, the front end was not aligned. I had to go back ask them to do it "again". Then we discovered that they never changed the air filter even though I was specifically charged for a new filter......so what else didn't get done? The oil looked like it had been changed but was the oil filter replaced? Did they actually rotate the tires? I will never go back to the Dennis Dillon service department!

I was told that I needed to bring my car in to see what part was needed for a recent recalled part. I asked if it could be looked up without bring my car in before the part arrived and was told no that I would have to make two visits. One to see what recall part was needed and another to install after the part arrived. So I arrive and wait thinking it would take an hour as nothing was being done. Two hours later when I ask if my car is ready yet the employee tells me it is taking longer because they are hand washing it and vacuuming they had finished looking up the part over an hour ago. So when I finally get my car back along with a snide comment from the service employee saying I can not dictate how long it will take for your car to get washed, my car is given back to me unwashed and not vacuumed. I didn't care if my car was cleaned yet if I wait an extra hour for that to happen you would think it would. I talk to the service manager and he says in a somewhat smirky tone "I'm sorry" is a somewhat smirky tone of voice as if I shouldn't be upset after waiting two hours. The worst part, I called the Mazda 800 number and find out my car did not have to be taken in to their shop in the first place. The recall part could have been ordered without the visit. I love my Mazda but would never buy a car from this dealership due to the experience with the service employees.

My Fiance and I are from Boise so we headed to Dennis Dillon to just test drive a car, and then drive out to Team Mazda to actually buy it. After talking to the dealership at Dennis Dillon, and the staff ( our salesman was Rick), we felt really comfortable due to them not being pushy and being very honest. We spotted a 2015 Mazda3 with a Best Price offer that seemed incredible, so we set our sights on that. We still wanted a second opinion from Team Mazda, so we drove out there looking for similar cars that we had test drove at Dennis Dillon. We ended up having them give us an offer of an older car for almost double the price of a 2015 Mazda at Dennis Dillon. They also told us that Dennis Dillon would never offer the best price offer ad. So we then went back to Dennis Dillon and met with Rick and sat down and went over price, apr, etc. They offered us a price actually lower than the best price as we went through Mazda financing and my fiance was a college graduate. We sat with Rick for a couple hours then went home to think about it. We came back in the morning, and they had actually gotten our APR down further, so we solidified the deal. Everything and everyone was very open, enjoyable, and honest . As first time new-car buyers, this was incredibly easy. I would honestly recommend anyone to go to Dennis Dillon Mazda-Kia if you are looking for a Mazda or Kia, because this was a truly great experience.

The worst exsperence I've every had. They broke me down with repeated switch and bait. Horrible company. Takes advantage of people with bad credit!!! I put 3000.00 down, have 5 years of payments of $258. At the end I owe them $4500.00. So I'm paying $24,000 for a car that had a sticker price of $15,450. It's my fault for letting them bully me. I should have walked out. I only hope you will!!!!! Put this company out of business!

All I can say is Josh is wonderful. He is such a professional. I had an issue after the sale of my car was complete and he was prompt and thorough in getting my questions answered and resolving the situation to my satisfaction. Seriously, if you need to buy a car, you can trust Josh. Such honesty is a rare thing indeed in the world of car salesmen.

Had my mazda service scheduled for wheel bearing change. Gina from service gave me quote of $255. When brought my car in quote went up to almost 500 and it would have been more according to another service rep...so took my car back and never going there again!!!.Bobby in service was very rude and yelled that he don't have time for me and that I need to get my car out of his shop.

I would recommend you NEVER go to Dennis Dillon (especially the KIA dealer) as they will completely waste your time. They care nothing for you or anyone, at all.I received in the mail a card from Dennis Dillon saying they would buy back my 2012 GTI for 120% above Black Book. They gave a specific number, $22,778, as the amount they would pay me for my GTI. They listed several Kia options and pricing, listing a Soul for their internet pricing, whatever that is, but gave an example. When I went in I should have known there would be issues because my sales person asked me if I knew that the trade value listed on the card they sent me was just an estimate? I said that is a pretty specific estimate.I went to the dealership within the sales event dates. Before buying I wanted to run it by my wife with the plan to come back before the event expired. I called my sales lady and told her I would come back, when was most convenient for her? During this discussion she put me on hold and when she came back said, "We can do this deal anytime you want to come back." Since I worked a ton last week I asked if it would be okay to get the sale price on Saturday. She said yes, no problem.I just got home from wasting 2 hours there. First thing she says is, "Well you know the sales event has expired?" I reminded her of our conversation and she said oh yeah, she'll work it out. She comes back with a sales manager who is carrying the card with the fine print, telling me the event expired. I told him about my conversation with my sales lady as well. He says ok, they will get as close as they can. I did explain to him that I was frustrated that they are pushing back on the trade value and backing down on the agreement to extend the sales event for me.Anyway, he comes back. "You're going to be more frustrated. Your trade is worth $14,000." Are you kidding me?! I know for a fact KBB is $18,304 for its condition and mileage!Oh, and I called the sales manager, Mike, to discuss. Didn't care a bit. Gave me the same BS over and over again. Then he tries telling me that those cards were wrong and it was the advertising agency's fault, they used Retail instead of Trade-In. Seriously??!!! Because the big dealership doesn't proof or approve their advertising before being sent out???!!! Yeah, Mike, I really am stupid!!DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!! They will waste your time, have no respect for their customers and just want to hook you and rip you off, all of course, in my opinion

Don't ever do business with Dennis Dillon Nissan! After receiving extensive engine service from Dennis Dillon Nissan Service on our Nissan Pathfinder 3/19/14, our vehicle broke down on Highway 80 between Winnemucca, NV and Reno, NV on 3/22/14. We heard a loud noise in the engine compartment and lost power steering. After our family spent 4 hours in the desert waiting roadside service, we were towed to Reno, NV arriving at 10pm Saturday evening. Our Nissan was left with Nissan of Reno for repair-which wouldnt be completed until the next Wednesday. We spent the night in a motel (this was supposed to be a one day drive) and rented a vehicle to continue our trip for a California family Spring Break vacation. On our way back home to Idaho we were informed by Cal Trans requiring snow chains for the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We purchased chains to fit the rental vehicle on the way. If we had had our Nissan Pathfinder, we would not have been delayed with the purchase and subsequent tire chain application, causing us to miss the window of opportunity to pass thru the mountain range before Cal Trans closed the highway sending cars back West. We then had to spend the night in a hotel waiting for the highway to clear (this was supposed to be a one day trek).Dennis Dillon Nissan failed to successfully screw on the radiator fan, causing it to fall off and disengage the serpentine belt as well. This also resulted in loss of power steering. We submitted an invoice of our out-of-pocket expenses incurred during this experience, but Joe Mueller of Dennis Dillon refused to pay.

We purchased a Mazda 2 from this dealer and negotiated the deal via email, telephone and fedEx'd contracts-- then flew in and picked up the car and drove back to Oakland, California. They made every step as easy as it could be-- and their price was the lowest in the country (per AutoTrader search)!! Their new Mazda was the same price as a Hertz rental sales two year old Mazda in Oakland.

Thank you so much John you gave us a deal we couldn't refuse!! We have been looking for a Chevy Silverado and it was the first truck we looked at! You gave us a car fax with history/owner of the vehicle without me asking. You were honest with us showing your dealership had nothing to hide on the deal for the truck. This truck so far is the best vehicle we have!!! Thanks so much John for a wonderful deal. Merry Xmas with ur family! From the Barraza family

I called this dealership due to the fact i was looking to buy a brand new jeep. Jeep offers $500.00 to veterans and they had a jeep priced right so i was interested. I was told in order for me to qualify for the sales price i either had to be a 20 year veteran retired, active duty or a real estate agent. I was told that i didnt qualify due to my status of only being a diabled veteran. I feel I paid my dues and served 4 years and got injured while on duty before i got discharged. I did try to reup for another four but was denied due to my disabilty I suffered while in. I guess serving and being injured while on duty isnt good enough to qualify for the discount. I ended up going to the jeep dealership over at Edmark super center and they not only gave me the discount but also thanked me for my service to the country! I will NEVER go to Dennis Dillon again and will tell as many people about how rude they were to me and how apparently they dont think being injured while on active duty is reason enough to qualify for the discount while other dealerships do! Shame on you Dennis Dillon dealership! It is because of ALL veterans that we have our freedom in this country!

We do not live in Idaho so we were working closely with a salesman named Bill Schultz to make sure the truck we were interested in was exactly what we wanted. Bill stated he would drive the truck and text us that it was getting for mileage. Bill texted 18 mpg in the city and 24mpg with the wind. He mentioned several other things but the text was too long to rewrite here in this complaint. We also asked him to do a complete inspection of the inside and outside and tell us what the flaws are on the truck. Bill advised my husband that the truck was completely clean with no flaws, as a matter of fact he said it is the nicest truck I have seen in the area. We reviewed multiple pictures online and did not see any defects. After all that we finally flew to Idaho. The truck we were shown when we got there was not what Bill and the dealership represented. The mileage was 16 mpg freeway and the exterior did not have one place on it that was not scratched, dented or replaced. The tailgate had been replaced and a cheap after market paint job with fish eyes was the finish. The passenger tail light was broken and the truck looked like it had just come in from an extended hunting trip through the brush. The pictures online were low resolution and hid the flaws on the truck. Mountain Home Auto Ranch offered a travel voucher however once we got there they stated they were not going to give us a voucher because it was not their fault that we did not like their truck. They agreed to drive us back to the airport, (how kind) and on the way back to the airport the engine started to shimmy and almost died at the red light. They misrepresented the vehicle and we were stuck in Boise with no flights home or travel compensation as promised. Mountain Home Auto Ranch should be responsible for our out of pocket expenses...it was NOT that we did just "did not like" their car, as they stated, they were completely dishonest. The truck we saw when we arrived is not what they said during multiple phone calls. We lost a lot of money on this verbal deal and Mountain Home Auto Ranch would not take any responsibility, honor their voucher and for that matter was not even remorseful or nice after everything we went through due to their dishonesty. These immoral business practices should be illegal. DO NOT take your business to Mountain Home Auto Ranch, tell you friends and family and save them money and time. I am sitting in a hotel room with no flights available and I want to get home to my family. I bet the owner of Mountain Home is home with his family tonight. ***FYI Dennis Dillon is the same family that owns Mountain Home Auto Ranch***

We had the great opportunity to meet TIM WURTZ at Dennis Dillon car dealership. We bought a 2007 Honda Odyssey and it is exactly what we had been looking for. We had gone to other dealerships and we were so impressed with Tim. He was such a pleasure to talk with and did everything he could to make our car buying experience the best! He was very patient with us, and at no time did we feel pressured or uncomfortable when talking with Tim. He knew we had a certain budget we needed to stay in and he knew what car we wanted and helped us get a great deal, thank you so much Tim for everything. We will definitely be referring our family, friends, co-workers, etc. to go see Tim Wurtz at Dennis Dillion when they are ready to buy a vehicle. We will be visiting Dennis Dillion and Tim in the future when we are ready to buy again!

I was in the market for a new Nissan Murano and went to Dennis Dillon Nissan because a friend told me that they had the best price in town. I had a great experience from start to finish. I was greeted promptly and was treated professionally. My salesmen, Scott, knew the Nissan product very well and showed me the PERFECT Nissan Murano I was looking for. The negotiation process was very easy as they had a great price. I feel I got a very fair value for my trade and great financing also. One of the managers, Bruce, came down and made sure everything was good, I assured him it was. Great price, great deal, fantastic car. Thanks everyone.

In May 2007, I leased a 1995 Gmc pickup, I was only 19 at the time and just happy to be approved to get a decent vehicle to get me to work. I paid faithfully for 2 years of the 3 year lease when I lost my job. When the 25th payment was 17 days late they repo'd the vehicle. I went to Dennis Dillon's Treasure Valley (Northwest) leasing (Changed their name to escape bad image) to collect the property out of the vehicle and was verbally assaulted by the manager, he used many swear words very loudly in my face and called me a deadbeat. I told him I just wanted my stuff and no trouble, he told me they are very aggressive with default lessees and that they would "bend me over in the courtroom" to get the remaining balance of the lease. The trucks current value is $4500 and I owe $5400 they filed a $5,000 small claim against me without any proof that the vehicle was even sold at auction. I had just put $2500 into the truck months before the repo for mechanical repairs. I know I can't possibly owe them $5,000 in differential, but it's hard to say what kind of papers my signature is on. I would gladly pay the difference between actual auction selling price and remaining lease debt, but they're obviously shooting for higher goals. It's possible someone in the company bought the truck for 1$ at their own "private auction" and I'm supposed to pay for property I don't receive. Idaho is a very red state so I'm sure the big corporation will be allowed to step on the little guy.

I bought a new Mazda6, fully loaded, from this dealership. Had each oil changed done on time in the service dept. Not even a year after purchasing my vehicle it began to leak under the engine. I brought this to the service dept. attention when have my oil changed (in March) I was told that it was a small leak and that it didn't need fixing until I wanted to start using my A/C. They recommended that I return in a month or so. I set a date for 2 weeks later because I wanted it fixed asap. 3 days later my car was dead on the side of the road. The entire radiator blew. It just happened to be a Sunday and their rental company was closed. Stuck on the side of the road with 2 youngs kids and all I was offered was a tow truck. I called Team Mazda who had my car towed in 20 minutes and had me in one of their own cars off their lot. I will never return to Dennis Dillon for any vehicle needs. I also regret referring a total of 6 people to this dealership who all purchased new vehicles. If this is the treatment you get when you buy a new vehicle with a warranty imagine how you will be treated if you buy a used one!BUYER BEWARE!!

They are, collectively, the epitome of the stereotypical used car salesman. This should be their next ad...Buy Your Next Car Here! - Zero Integrity - Zero Ethics - Bad Business Practices - Inflated pricesThe ad said they had cars for as low as $5,000. There was exactly zero cars available for anything near that low.I asked if they would include a keyless entry device; a very inexpensive add on for the car I selected, which may have been included from the factory. They said it wasn't possible to add that option to the car. Only after signing the contract did I find it is possible, but they had a signed contract (signed under the pretense that it wasn't possible to add a keyless entry device) and there was no way they would cover the cost; the very low cost considering I paid their full asking price for the vehicle. Clearly, they will tell you anything to get you to sign the contract and get you out the door. What they won't do is exercise due diligence to find honest answers to your questions. They hide behind a contract that protects only them. They won't research questions, tell you where you can get parts, offer honest recommendations, or anything else that might lead you to believe they care about future business or the good of their employer...or maybe this is the kind of people Dennis Dillon wants working for him. Either way, I'll never buy another car there!

A friend of mine purchased a new car at the Big Lot. The car came with a 100,000 mile/ 7 year factory warranty. The sales staff pressured my friend into also purchasing a service contract for 100,000 miles/6 years. I would like to know what the purpose of this extra $1695.00 is, but no one at the dealership can tell us. I asked for the general manager and was transferred (twice) to someone who is on vacation all week. Seems to be a serious lack of knowledge at this dealership. Last time I visited the dealership, there was some poor lady crying her eyes out because they sold her a car that self-destructed, and they were yelling at her that it wasn't their fault. Not a dealership that I'd want to visit ever again!!!

At first visit the sales staff seemed very friendly and helpful to make a sale. I was told the used vehicle I bought was completely checked out and serviced and in great condition with no mechanical problems. After a few hours of driving this vehicle it overheated. I found out the next day after the purchase that the engine head gaskets were blown allowing the radiator anti freeze to leak into the engine oil. The mechanic who made the diagnosis informed me that the condition had existed for quite a period of time and that when the oil was changed when serviced this condition would have been evident. I feel the dishonesty of the dealer violates good faith in customer trust and demonstrates only greed. Though I signed a form of "as is" I was lead to believe the car was in excellent condition but because it was a used vehicle this form is standard. Buyers beware of any dealings on used vehicles from this dealership or having customer trust. No integrity
