Brandon and Chris really worked with me. I usually come I for an oil change but I had a blown tire. They were not able to fix but they recommend great replacement tires. Since I had over 75,000 miles on the current tires new tires were the better way to go. I left a book in the waiting room. When I returned the book was gone. They did everything they could to locate it. When it could not be found the GM , Jeremy purchased the same book for me and called to come pick it up. That is Service with a capital S. Going above and beyond

My family has been going to Dick Masheter for as long as I can remember, so when it came time to get a new car, there really was no other choice. Jim Franklin assisted us from the start and first listened to what we wanted, and then provided several options. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we went over EVERYTHING. I scheduled an appointment.i got there early but was seen at appointment time.the person who checked me in was very pleasant. Offered water or coffee and showed me where to wait. When completed, showed me the cashier.she was very nice and helpful. I have already recommended friends to this dealership. I visited the dealership today 9/21/16 and my experience was great. The customer service I received was overall magnificent and they were very friendly as well. Soon as I enter the building I was I was greeted immediately by the salesman and my wait time m was not long at all. The issue I was having with my car was resolved in a productive and timely manner. Had only planned to test drive the 2016 F-150 Super Cab 4x4, but the vehicle quality and the deal was too good to pass up. We didn't even drive our trade-in vehicle up for this visit. No high pressure sales. Ken pulled all 3 trucks up side by side that we were interested in so we could compare. So impressed with the friendliness of the employees and the willingness to get us into a truck in which we would be happy. Great truck buying experience. The sales man and general manager of the Used Cars were really friendly and helpful. I bought my car on a Saturday but would be back in a week to pick it up. The car needed detailing like crazy (coffee stain on the side of the door panel, needed vacuuming, dusting and waxed). Well we picked it up on a Sunday when it was closed, and nothing was done to the car. Also the tire pressure was low and they did not change the oil. I was very upset with this because they had the car for a week! One week! I would recommend buying a car but I would never use their detailing department ever! And if you buy a car and they need to detail it, please look over with a fine comb!!!

I took in my '16 Ford Escape with only 4300 miles on it because there brakes were squeaking. They wouldn't fix it. And I quote a memo I have a copy of- "if normal diagnostics do not indicate a fault then no repair should be performed to resolve the brake squeak." On my service invoice "at this time no fix is available". How about new brake pads?!?! Someone supposedly looked at the brakes and "did what they could" by lining them up but they squeaked again on the way home:( they have a sign hanging above the device desks "Without happy customers we could not exist" well let me tell you I am NOT a happy camper!!!!

I was scheduled for 15,000 mile service. This was completed and I was given a checklist with details of work completed. I also asked them to check tires and steering. They found three issues and each time Doug Russell, the service manager, came to me and explained the problem and the cost before proceeding. I was there for almost three hours, but I appreciated everything being done at the one visit. Doug was very polite and helpful. I found a 2007 ford explorer online, contacted the dealer to see how accurate the info was on line. It was right on point and the pictures were accurate when I went to view the vehicle. Did my research to see if I was being over charged and in fact they were cheaper then any other dealer selling that same vehicle with the same amount of mileage, not just in Ohio, but all the other states. About 2,000 dollars cheaper. Service was fast even financing. I was in and out in about an hour and a half.

I have a 2014 Ford Escape that started acting up so I took it to Dick Masheter they kept my car for 2 days trying to get it to repeat the problem but couldn't get it to run rough I took it home the next day it did it again so I went back Michael in the service department got me right in had someone look at my car and figured out what was wrong. Then he got me a loaner car and the next morning called they had already trouble shoot my car and found what was needed to fix it, by 5 pm he had called that my car was finished and I could pick it up at my convenience. Everyone I spoke with or dealt with at Dick Masheter was both polite and professional.

I scheduled a service appointment for my 2007 Mustang air bag recall. When I arrived I was greeted by the service tech who was expecting me. He was friendly and processed my car in quickly. He explained exactly what the recall was for and the process for the repair. The recall notice I received in the mail advised that the service would take up to 1/2 day, however they had me in and out within one and a half hours. The service waiting room was clean and comfortable. We have bought cars here previously and will continue to do so as they show pride in their dealership.

I purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer. I thought I wanted a Honda Pilot. I'd been researching Suv's and the Honda Pilot had great ratings. Howeve, when I went to buy the Honda Pilot my experience was horrible. I was trading in 2 vehicles and had excellent credit. I did not qualify for the zero percent rate. By 4 credit points. I had a 701 credit rating and Honda required a rating of 705. I was informed that unless I was willing to spend 60 dollars more on a different body trim the only way I would be getting this vehicle is if I leased for three years , trade a third vehicle or have a parent co -sign my loan. I was okay with information received , it was the way it was said. The manager was very condescending and unwilling to bend at all on the price. The color choice was ugly and the body style looked more like the minivan. Discouraged I walked away, after being there for 4 hours. My fiance and I decided to take a look at the explorer . I Immediately Iloved the body style. Large roomy interior. Beautiful interior and exterior colors. Functional third row seat and panoramic moon roof. The leather seats feel like your sitting in a large recycliner. Dual exhaust and very sporty car trim. Ryan the sales person was well informed about the vehicle but not pushy. Test driving it was like driving on ice. So very smooth. Edmunds rated this vehicle an A. I give Ryan and Dick Masheter a A+. The pilot drove smooth but felt very "mom-ish". Although th pilot has lane watch it does not take the place of operator experience. I was reminded by my fiance that watching the view finder constantly could be just as much of a distraction as talking on the phone. I love my Ford. My very first car was Ford escort, purchased by Father while in college. It is still an American vehicle made well. I can't say enough about this choice. I am very happy.

I dropped my car off at Dick Masheter at 830 am due to a service engine light, however the light turned off the day before my appointment. They never called me. I had to call them after they had my car for six hours for them to tell me they could not do anything without the service engine light still on. Very irritating.

Their main salesman, Joe Lee, was very helpful and responded back to me in a timely manner. Over the phone, Sales Manager, Bill Lewis, provided me with attractive pricing for a lease and encouraged us to visit the dealership.At the dealership, Joe was knowledgeable and very knowledgeable and thorough during the test drive. Dick Masheter Ford provided the best experience I have ever had when getting my new Ford Escape. They were attentive to my needs without being high pressure. I had been looking for a new vehicle for a little bit. Multiple other dealers had undervalued my trade and tried to push me into an up sale. I was greeted immediately upon coming in to Dick Masheter Ford. Jim and Joe took time with me to figure out what I needed in a vehicle and what vehicle would serve me best. After looking at 4 different explorers, I thought all was lost, but Jim was willing to walk the lot one more time, in 14 degree weather, to look for exactly what I needed in the vehicle, in my price range. He found it out on the back lot, that had just come in on a dealer trade, not even in inventory yet.

I recommend Dick Masheter Ford as a excellent place to buy if you are looking for an honest, upfront and friendly dealership. This was my first stop when shopping for a car and after going to other places only to hear the scams I quickly went back. For repairs I would only recommend the Service Repair Center and not the Quick Lane. The Service Repair Center Agents are friendly and make quality repairs. However the Quick Lane service is just that. They get you in and out however I went out with the same problem I came in with. It took me four trips to get the problem fixed and the sad part is the fix was simple.

I had taken my vehicle in to Dick Masheter to have some service done to it. Not only did they fix and work on what needed to be done, but they alerted me, AFTER the dealership i bought the vehicle from said there were none, that there was a recall on the transmission. They fixed that also. The service team was very cool, polite, and courteous. I drive for Uber, so I had my vehicle in there early morning, and they had me on the road before 9am! I would definitely be taking my car there in the future for service, even though they are not on the in network list for my vehicle warranty!

I have always always used Dick Masheter Quick Lane for my service needs. The staff is polite and courteous every time I enter the doors. On my last visit I brought my Ford Expedition to the service center with noise in my rear brakes. The service adviser examined my vehicle completely and found my rear brake pads needed replaced. He also found my battery cold cranking amps very low and recommended a new battery ( was 7 years old ). He also found power steering fluid low and dirty. All service was performed promptly and the staff kept me advised of progress. The advisor then told about current rebates in effect when I was paying for service. I would really recommend Dick Masheter Ford and Quick Lane service center to everybody !!!

There are a few Ford Dealers in the greater area. I've been to them all. Ford makes a great car but no matter how great a car, price, widgets, or features it has...it still needs maintenance. After trying the rest of the dealers in the area I'm sticking with DM. Great service (which is a lost art in todays world) puts them head and shoulders above the rest. Great communication on times, commitments, service, and I have spent time working from home using their Wifi while getting my car taken care of. I own a 2013 Fusion and will be trading it out in the spring. DM has earned my business.

I love that I am able to drop my car off in the mornings and they will shuttle me to work and then come pick me up when I need a ride and take me to pick up my car. This service department has drastically gone down hill. I've been buying & servicing at Masheter for almost 15 year. Sales is great...& service used to be good. However, in the last few years they have had a lot of turnover and average a new service manager every year to 18 months & new service advisors regularly(major red flag). Now what's left is 2 service writers that are horrible! One is rude and obnoxious to customers & the other is nice...but lazy. Service manager sometimes acts like he cares...but really just lip service. Masheter has had both my vehicles (both less than 18 months old)for warranty repairs multiple times for multiple days...& had issues completing the work. One time i called ford myself regarding an issue & I had to bring in Ford documentation detailing the issue & how to fix from Ford, & service writer wouldn't acknowledge it. Ford customer service flat out told me to go to another dealership! Took it to another dealership....& no problems. Also once paid for an alignment, & after asking many times...they couldn't produce the print out of alignment specs. But they had no problem charging me for a 4 wheel, when I asked for only a front alignment! I will not be returning for warranty work...& no way I would ever use Masheter service for out of pocket work! Don't trust them, ....everything done in service in past couple years has been a major hassle for one reason or another!

The service team (Don) is the greatest, not only is my car ready when promised, I get dropped off at my work and picked up. I recently had a review view mirror replaced in my 2014 Taurus.After finding the proper tool in which to do this, the service dept tried to remove the old one from the windshield. Apparently they did not to fool with it.They then sent my car back to the body shop and they tried to remove the mirrow and ended up shattering my windshield.They all had attitudes over this the whole time and did not apologize whatsoever.I asked about getting it fixed.So they called Harris Auto Glass who in turn put in a scratched windshield.They called car rental co for me to have a car in the meantime. I could not use the car rental because I didn't have a credit card. So I had to drive with a shattered windshield for a week before Harris decided to replace it.They put in a scratched windshield. I couldn't get ahold of the company or installer to get it fixed.I finally went to Safe lite and paid to get it replaced again at my cost.They did an excellent job with a perfect windshield with no scratches. The mechanics at Masheter were unprofessional, rude and terrible attitudes.They even left trash in my car, slivvers of glassand dirty , grease fingerprints and scuffmarks from their July shoes.

Purchased my truck in 2007, they have taken care my truck since..oil changes, services calls, etc. My son was ready to buy his first new car; knew Dick Masheter would take care of him. Service was Good (coolant fan(s) were replaced) and staff are friendly however, I was informed that I would receive a call after the test drive to see if the check engine light came back on. I didn't receive a call to my cell, so I picked the car up the next morning (sat) and shortly after driving off, the check engine light appeared which meant I had to make another visit in to have the sensor replaced. As a convenience I would've had the work done on that visit. Also, I thought the diagnostic test fee was deducted from the order total. If possible I would like to receive a copy of the diagnostic test for my records. Don the service advisor was pleasant. The gentleman that returned my car to me that Sat morning became very busy but remained pleasant. Also, the cashier on the showroom floor that cashed me out was professional and pleasant.

I bring my 2012 Mustang in for service to this dealer all the time because it's close to home, and I'm happy I did because the service has been outstanding. They found something loose, and quickly took care of it under warranty. And the sales staff comes over just to chat about my car... no pressure, just car talk because they know I appreciate Mustangs. Stopped in the Quick Service for oil change. Ask the have noise looked at. Idler pulleys were warn causing the noise. They made the repair while i waited. Return visit not necessary. Excellent Results! Service Manager was very attentive offered coffee. morning paper, shuttle ride if I did not want to wait while the repair was being made.

As a quick reference to the level of service I am accustomed to I was a previous Audi owner and switching to a Ford. Jim Franklin was extremely helpful. I mentioned the easiest way to communicate with me was via e-mail. He respected my wishes and did not attempt to contact me numerous times via phone or text as other sales persons had done in the past. The vehicle and features I wanted were quickly located for a fair price. I recommend Dick Masheter Ford of Columbus, OH and Jim Franklin without hesitation.The only thing I do not like is the "pushiness" of the finance person attempted to up-sell me on an extended warranty (gap insurance, tire warranty, engine, etc.) and paint coating protection after I agreed to a price with the sales team. The entire process cheapened the experience and left a somewhat poor taste in my mouth regarding the final sale.

Do not go to this place unless you want to ruin your credit score. They checked my credit score next they I left the dealer with "10" lenders until they started receiving notification that I had too many inquiries in my history. They didn't even tell me they were going to check it with so many lenders and when I called to complain about the situation instead of trying to help me their response was that they work with "60" lenders. I guess they were trying to imply I was lucky they didn't check it with all 60 lenders. Also, sales people were trying to rush me into buying a car while I was at the dealer. They weren't even applying Ford rebates to sales prices which I found out when I was looking at their website. It was a horrible sales experience. I don't suggest anybody buying a car from this dealer. You won't get the best deal available and your credit score will be ruined. On top of everything there is nobody at the dealer to provide good customer service. Dealer as a unit is just after your money. They don't care about customer service.

I take my 2007 Ford Fusion in for Oil Changes on a consistent basis, with great results. They greet me by name and know exactly what I need to have done depending on when I come in. QuickLane people get me through the process to get me out of the service area quickly. The promptly call me when there is a problem with the car, so I can make decision about what needs to be fixed. Starr and the other Quicklane members are helpful and considerate.

Like everyone else, I loathe car buying. However, my experience with Dick Masheter Ford and it's staff has been incredible. Tom made the car buying experience enjoyable helping me select cars and providing useful information about the strengths and weaknesses of each one. I took a week to select a car and when I came back in the process, including a second test drive, took me under two hours. Fantastic. The service center is always fast and courteous. They usually accept the last car for the evening at six. I arrived a few minutes late due to rush hour traffic and Starr still accepted my car and was just as pleasant as ever. John the salesman helped me as I walked around window shopping so I went in to see if I would get approved and I did and at a price that was actually feasible. I bought a 2015 Ford Explorer from Mike Carr. He suggested I get my first oil change free of charge at Quick Lane. I did so and was very impressed with the service staff. I had a question that Brian was able to answer for me on the driver side window control panel. It was such a simple fix for the problem I had but he had a very professional way about him so that I didn't feel silly for asking. The girl behind the counter was kind enough to come out and greet me since I didn't know where to go since it was my first time visiting their business for service. I am definitely planning to go back as soon as I need further oil changes, tire rotations, etc. I had a smooth transaction and would definitely do business with Quick Lane again. Shout out to Mike Carr for his excellence in customer service. He was so helpful and made buying a new vehicle a very pleasant experience. He is a definite asset to the dealership....A+++!!!

I took my 2004 Honda Accord in for a slow tire leak, and they not only fixed the leak but also took the other three tires off to inspect those. Turns out, the rear tires had not been aligned properly in the past and were wearing on the inside at a high rate. They were so thorough in their work and explanation of everything along the way, I was happy to give them my business and ride home on 4 new tires. Brandon is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them for service. We have also bought two cars from them and it is definitely true that they make car buying fast, easy and fun. It's nice to walk into a car dealership and be treated like an intelligent human being and not some schmuck!

I needed a quick turn around on getting my Explorer serviced--oil change, tires rotated (The Works) and my Right Rear Turn Light was not working. I travel a lot, am rarely home, and needed service NOW! I phoned another dealership, and could not get in for a week; I phoned Dick Masheter Ford and was told to come on in! Brandon was exceptional! He got me in, explained all the services, etc., and listened to me; this was key--the fact that he listened. I have extremely high expectations of service, especially from a dealership, and less than stellar does not go over well. Stellar and beyond was my experience. Not only did Brandon get my Explorer in with a great tech and got me "operational" again, but I returned the next day and made a tire purchase as well. I will share my positive experience with everyone I contact, and will be back when it's time for The Works again (probably four to five weeks!). Thanks, Brandon...you rock!

I was in from out of town visiting family and forgot how cold it gets here. I decided to drive my car to the grocery store on a zero degree night and fill up afterwards. I never made it out of the grocery store parking lot, my fuel line froze up. I towed my car to a family members garage, got the line thawed, drove to my other relatives house and the fuel pump kicked the bucket. Being that I do not live here, I found the closest Ford dealership, which happened to be Dick Masheter Ford on Hamilton road, and had my vehicle towed in. They were quick to identify the problem and worked well with my warranty company to have it repaired. They did a full vehicle inspection and identified another problem, also covered by my warranty, and got it taken care of as well. Everything was very quick and efficient. The mechanic I dealt with directly, Dave, was so nice and was sure to keep me informed during the entire process. I would definitely recommend this service center!

It was a plastic hose that was cracked. From start to finish it took less than an hour. Technician showed me the hose that was cracked and even explained how to care for it as it was plastic, not rubber. His name is Christian Wells and was very courteous as was the receptionist at the desk. price was less than $40, that is also a plus..

I bought m y car off the showroom floor brand new. All the employees, from salesperson to mechanics, have been the greatest. They take time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I have my car serviced there exclusively and they make me feel like family every visit. Starr Carr (yes, that is her REAL name) is the nicest person ever. She works in the quick lane and makes every visit enjoyable. She takes the time to know you personally and genuinely cares about whatever is going on with you. I bought a 2006 Ford Fusion at Dick Masheter Ford in August of 2014. I got a 3 day grace period before I bought it so that I could have a mechanic check it out. Here was what was wrong it:--Scratches all over--Right Axle leaked grese--Flex Pipe was about to fall off.--Transmission Fluid was dark and dirty.--Drivers side door handle broke--Back drivers door wouldn't open from the insideBeware, they will try to sell you these types of cars and claim it had a 31 point inspection and all that. Please make sure to get a grace period. They ended up fixing everything but some of the scratches and the transmission issue which turned out to be a "non issue" that I fixed 2 months later. Also, I have to go back to this dealership to get the Axle issue fixed again because they must not have fixed it right the first time after getting it inspected at a mechanic shop for another issue, they saw that grease was leaking out. I would highly suggest not going to a dealership here unless you are very very car savy and can see all those issues right away. I've had to go back there at least 3 times since I bought the car because of all the repairs and now going back again to get the axle fixed again.

I came into the service center for a recall part on my car. I've had this recall notice for quite some time but I work two jobs so never had the time nor do I have patience to wait for any type of car service. I finally decided to call ask questions and made a appointment. The day finally comes and I was dreading it thinking that I was about to lose a whole day for some nonsense on my car. However the great experience started with I wish I remembered his name but he greeted me wonderfully. he told me it should not take long (but they all say that is what I was thinking) he offered to take me anywhere I needed to be while my car was service but I declined because I had brought a book, just in case. He talked with me on numerous occasions to see how I was hanging in there. Other employees were also doing the same offered me something to drink and everything. When I finally looked up my car was done, I never even opened my book. I was only there for 20 minutes. It was the first time at a car place where I did not have to wait long. They provided professional and friendly experience and I was impressed. I will continuously go this service center when I need to. High five guys!!!!

I took my son's 2008 Ford Edge into Dick Masheter Ford for the Works package. During the inspection they advised me of additional repairs that will need to be done at some time. As I did not have time then to do it I will return at another time and I felt no pressure to schedule a time or do it that day. Last Friday evening took and left my 2003 Ford Taurus to diagnose a leak. Within the hour got a call to confirm it was transmission fluid leaking from a valve. I was given the time frame for when the car will be ready! I picked my car up yesterday and two pleasant surprises! According to Christian Wells, the replaced parts and labor will cost me nothing . . .apparently was still under warranty (I don't know if another repair facility will tell me that!) The next surprise . . . Mark Skaggs the technician had taken the initiative to go beyond the initial inspection for the leak and must have noticed a bulb needed replacing. I had no idea a bulb had blown! I think he even provided free labor!!! You are my friends! I will be back.I also like that their Quick Lane is quick! Also first come first serve means more flexibility with my time. Twice the oil change did not take too long . . . Besides there's Wifi to keep you busy! and the staff behind the desk (Star and Christian ) are very polite and professional and of course friendly. On the occasions when Christian was serving me, despite the fact there is a line she remains calm and unflustered treating Each customer with respect and smiled and chatted throughout her interactions.

I had a crank fail issue with my Mercury, every shop in town told me they were 100% sure it was the coil pack and wanted to charge me an "arm and a leg" to fix this problem they were so sure of. Well I've had bad experiences with taking my car to Non-Ford Authorized Mechanics. So I thought I'd take it to a Ford dealer for service, which I was very skeptical about because I was always under the impression that the dealer always cost more. My vehicle ended up being in the shop for 2 weeks, which may sound terrible, but I'm glad it was! Andrew and the guys at Dick Masheter Ford were able to tell me right away that this problem had nothing to do with my spark plugs or coil pack like I was previously lead to believe. If I would have listened to the "master technician" at Pep Boys, I would've paid my hard earned money on something that was not the root of the problem at all. The gentlemen at Ford took care of my vehicle and expressed concern as if it were their own family's car! Finally they discovered after extensive research that I had a PCM malfunction and they ordered the part and my Mercury fired right up! And to top it all off I thought I was going to have to work four jobs to pay off the bill I racked up, I was wrong again. Andrew worked with me and got me the best priced deal that worked for the both of us. The amount of great customer service I got from the time I had my vehicle towed onto the lot, to the time I happily drove it back home with no doubt in my mind that the problem was taken care of correctly the first time, will keep me coming back to Dick Masheter Ford for as long as I own my 2010 Mercury Milan for all my services needs.

I go to Dick Masheter's Quick Lane to routinely get my oil changed and tires rotated. Everyone there is so nice and helpful. I get the most thorough service and Starr Carr always goes over all the inspection results before I leave. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are the best!!!

And Chris had a hell of a time getting my wheels off and back on, but he did it right and my car rides like new again. I recently moved to the area and I was in search of a new Ford dealership for service. I drive a 2012 Ford F-150 Raptor so I am very particular about who services my truck. The previous dealership I was going to was great at customer service, so I was a little leery about finding a new shop. I went to Dick Masheter for a standard servicing of my truck. Oil change, fluid checks, tire rotation etc... The service was quick and great. I walked in, they asked me what I needed done, I told them, and they took my truck right back and got start. One thing what was great was I could sit there and watch them work on my truck. I knew everything they were doing and could keep an eye on it. I received a summary sheet of what they checked and where was wearing and in good shape. I know how to work on cars, but I choose to let the dealership work on my Raptor. Everything they put down was stop on. I didn't feel like I was being cheated or pressured. The price was right on for everything I got done.I would not write a positive review if I did not plan on taking my truck back to Dick Masheter. They will be servicing my truck going forward. Great experience.

I had called to make an appointment to get my Expedition serviced, oil change etc. The person on the phone said no appointment was needed so I just came in a few days later when unfortunately they were busy on the repair side for up to a 2 hour wait. The gentlemen quickly said since you have no repairs and just need maintenance, I bet we can get you I to our quick lane side. He made the call and I drove over and they tookme immediately! In addition Starr was very kind and made sure that I was given all the appropriate discounts according to my plan. She even triple checked if my filter that needed replaced was covered under my plan without my asking! They were a pleasure and great service.

My late husband and I have been customers of Dick Masheter Ford dating all the way back to 1988 when we purchased our daughter's first car a 1988 Ford Escort. Since then we have purchased two Ford Taurus and currently drive a Ford 500. Our purchases have been based on the quality and the friendliness of their customer service. I must say the employees are very attentive to their customers. I have never been to the dealership and left unattended no more than 5 minutes. Fortunately, I have been blessed to only have minor maintenance done to my vehicles. Each time the repairman explained in detail the repairs that were necessary. The reason I continued to return to Dick Mashester Ford when I decided to purchased a vehicle was because they have a wonderful overall selection of vehicles in their inventory, and the prices of the vehicles were not overpriced and fit into my budget. I would definitely recommend this dealership/service department to others. I am also giving this dealership 5 Stars. Thank You in advance for your customer service and making me feel appreciated.

This was my first time taking a car to Dick Masheter and the service advisors were very pleasant. I went to get an evaporator housing installed and after they went to order the part that's when they told me that it was a part that was no longer available. They found another part from another place which was put on for a lot cheaper. I will take my truck there from now on when I need something done.

Stopped in to see if I could get oil checked and make appointment , they were able to take me right then and found I was a quart low on oil and topped of my oil and washer fluid and checked it out for me. I was so happy since I was planning to leave in a few days on a trip and wanted to make sure my vehicle was in the best shape possible. They really put my mind at ease about my up coming trip. We are so satisfied with the of 2 cars the same day purchase. The consultant Mr. Chris Pinson, came over and shook our hands and visited with us. Recently I had collision related repairs done to my Buick SUV. This dealership understands what Customer Service really means, they are polite and actually listen. Becky from the body shop was extremely helpful and patiently answered my numerous questions, called me several times to keep me abreast of the whole process. At a time when I was dealing with pain and medical treatment I really appreciated that they took care of the repairs without any hassle.I was pleasantly surprised that they even vacuum cleaned the vehicle after the repairs were done. We were looking to replace a vehicle that had recently been totaled with a small truck. My husband found the truck online at the Dick Masheter website, I think. Gene helped us take the truck for a test drive. The ride was smooth and the truck was easy for my husband to operate. Our questions were answer and we were able to look through the truck. It was the quality vehicle we wanted at a reasonable price but just above what we had wanted to pay. We worked though the details and purchased the Ford Explorer 4 door truck. We also bought an extended warranty once we talked with Eric. We feel confident that we received a great truck. Both gentlemen were courteous, friendly and respectful of our wishes.

i applied for credit online thru ford, an got approved for 33k i inquired to this dealership thru cars.com about a particular focus st and was greeted with "would you like to schedule a test drive?" yes i would i responded, wojuld 6pm be too late? i didnt get any response, but the website says their hours are 7pm on saturday i was soo excited to drive and possibly buy the car i drove from my house in springfield (a little over an hour one way) to arrive just before 6pm. i was greeted with we close at 6pm the website says 7pm i responded... its wrong he said. moving on, i was told they dont let just anybody drive "special cars" like the focus st im 41years old middle class and have good credit also i drove over an hour at their offer to test drive it such a terrible experience.... i was and still am very upset. they didnt care im NOT buying something i dont drive... i have NEVER driven a focus my normal car is a 2006 chrysler 300c

Service dept mislead me in time to make repairs. Forgot to do requested oil as promised. Tried to use my old keys after installing a new ignition switch. Price quoted was to include 2 new keys. They reduced my bill by one key, yet I had to pay full price for 2 new keys. For all my troubles they should have programmed the new keys for free. To make their records favorable to their bosses they altered my invoice.

My experience with Dick Masheter was GREAT!!! We went to buy a new car and the experience was like no other. We've bought may cars from many dealerships, but this is the first time we really didn't have to haggle. My salesman was TOP NOTCH!! He took his time and talked to us to find out what our transportation needs and price range were, and put me in a 2013 Escape. I LOVE IT!!!! Looking at a used 2007 Fusion SE V6 they had listed for $11,500. I took it on a test drive where it rode decently. During my inspection, I noticed the brakes looked old as well as the tires. But Mike assured me they were both brand new. The following week I took the car to Tilton's in Gahanna (where my family takes all of our cars for any maintenance) they confirmed my beliefs, noting that the brakes had less than 20% remaining and the tires needed to be replaced. When I brought up the issue to Mike, he 'assured' me that Tilton's was just saying that because they wanted more business and said that the tires needed to be 'broken in.' Anyways, I offered $9,500, about the top of the trade in value for the car, for Mike to tell me the ABSOLUTE lowest they could go was $11,200-$11,300. So I said 'no' and walked away. Within the next 10 days I bought a Milan from Byers (which I highly recommend) and I decided to continue to watch the price of the Fusion to see how long it took to sell. Within a week it was down to $10,900 and then to $10,500 and then to $9,995! Wow...what happened to $11,300 'being my bottom dollar'??!! Overall, Mike was very dishonest and I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a trusting salesman. He even told my mother (as I am a 20 year old buying my first car) that I was taking it 'too seriously.' C'mon!! Mike is awful.

I recieved a phone call from Mr. Isaac about how the were in need of used vehicles. He wanted me to bring in my truck to have it appraised and would they would work with me to get me in a new truck. I totaly explained the situation, that I had no money to put down and my current payment was at the top of my budget and how much I still owe on my current truck. He said they would work it out to where I wouldn't be way too upside down with a new vehicle. So I took the time to go in on my day off. Turned out to be a waste of time. The payment would have been $200 plus more than where I currently am at in my current loan. Great appraisel on my truck too, would have been about $7000 in the hole. ???? Sounded good over the phone, but don't waste my or anyone elses time!

I recently visited Masheter Ford to inquire about adding an extended warranty to my truck. When dealing with Haley in the finance department, we wrote down some pros vs cons on buying an extended warranty. She was amazing! She actually was able to trade me out of my 07 F-150 and into a 1 year old 11 F-150 still under factory warranty all for the same payment ($3 more, almost the same) as I pay now! She even got me an extended warranty and GAP insurance. More importantly I didn't have to write a check for an extended warranty and drive out in my old truck. Thanks again Haley! Over the past few years, I have had the occasion to have three cars(my personal vehicle, my husband's and my father's vehicles" serviced at Masheter's. Each time I have been totally satisfied with the work and service provided.On my first visit, I was fortunate to have Mr. Scofield doing the work and have requested his services each time. As long as Mr. Scofield works for Masheter's, he'll continue to service my vehicles. I have never been treated with anything except respect, and have never felt that I had to "fight because I am a woman" in a car dealership/shop. Thanks guys..Keep up the good work!!!

Dick Masheter Ford was recommended to me by my neighbor. I took my vehicle in for some much needed service work. I was very happy with Brandon and his professionalism. I had done a little home work and had a good idea of what 4 tires, servicing the brakes, changing the oil, etc was going to cost. I was very pleased when the estimate was less than Pep Boys and another Ford dealer closer to my home. The work was completed on time and I even received a free car wash. Thanks guys!!! I'll see you in 3,000 miles.

It took only a few minutes to realize that he wasn't the standard pushy car sales guy with little knowledge of cars or my interests. He has been in the business for a long time and treated me as if I was family. The finance guys were just as friendly. I will say the person I encountered was friendly the overall experience was that of leaving with more problems that were corrected and at a big cost to the consumer because of the experience. I ask for a system problem to be fixed and instead, I wound up with with a useless system that would never work. Interesting to know that when I bring a car in for servie it will be defered to Ford. In short I bought a new car based on the systems,devices, and services offered on the car at that time. Only to find later it took a unsleable dangerous system that would not work at best unless I pay a lot of money elsewhere and that will still not give me what I bought in this car.

Bought a used car recently, staff and management were very friendly accomidating until after the deal and paperwork was signed. I have had to go back to the dealership twice and have been treated rudely and the staff is very condiscending.With as many dealers Columbus has, I would advise against visiting Dick Masheter.

Scam Service Department. My car was stranded near their shop with a bad alternator. Rather than tow it 60 miles home to fix myself, I jumped it and got it barely to them to have them install a new one. They wanted $250 just in the part cost. I walked across the street and got an alternator for $70 at Advance Auto Parts. Then, Dick Masheter said that one was faulty and I'd have to get another and pay a second time for installation since it wasn't their part. I took the alternator back to Advance, they tested it and it was fine. Hearing that, I told Dick Masheter to get my car off the lift, towed it home, and installed the alternator myself. It's still running strong 30k miles later. They were just mad that I didn't pay for their overpriced part, and they were going to try to get my money through labor. Next time, I'm paying for the tow home no matter how far away I am, I trust nobody to touch my cars...

Didn't know anything about this dealership going in, just that they had a car I liked. They were extremely flexible, letting me do multiple test drives and take the vehicle to an independent mechanic. Salesperson gave me his cell number and was completely available throughout the process. They were't very willing to negotiate in terms of price, even when I presented them with the repairs suggested by the independent mechanic. However, I still feel that I got a decent deal. Facilities are kind of old and uninviting but, I don't expect to be pampered when buying a used car. Within two weeks of my purchase, I had a couple fluke problems with the car. The dealership fixed them for no charge even though the problems weren't present at the time I bought it. Major bonus points for that! Overall, a good place to buy a car. Just make sure you do your research on price in advance.

Hold onto your wallet with both hands when you visit "your friends" at Dick Masheter Ford .... These guys are something else.... they want to charge you $93 an hour labor for some really unskilled technitions ....... They definately tried to overcharge me... they will take advantage of a persons lack of knowledge about cars and use it to exploit them for inflated prices and unnessesary repairs.... This place seems really shady to me ........ at least one thumb down !!!!

Stay as far away from this place as you can! A few years ago I bought a used car here, which wasn't a Ford, so the main service department wouldn't even touch it, I had to go to the "Quick Lane" (which is basically just an oil change place) for my repairs. Many times the car either wasn't repaired or was given back to me in worse shape than I dropped it off. To top it all,one time when I dropped my car off for service, I asked if they would have a loaner car for me and they said they would. I get to the dealership, and there's no loaner car. So they agreed to pay for a rental car for me while mine was in the shop. Two months later I get a call from Enterprise Rent-A-Car asking me why I hadn't paid for the rental, the dealership never even picked up the tab and I had to pay $80 out of my own pocket! I finally cut my losses, got rid of the car, and bought a Toyota from another dealership, which I've been very happy with. I've already talked three people out of buying a new car from here, I'd advise you to stay away from here as well!

I was looking online for a full size suv. I came across some options on dick masheter's web site. I called them up to see if the vehicles I was interested in where still there. They were and I went in and took them for a test drive. I liked there price and they gave me a decent price on my trade in. It was a good experence. they didn't try to push me into a higher payment or somthing I didn't want. I don't know anything about there service becasue my brother is a mechanic and he does all my work, but the sales and finacing were easy to work with.

I have taken my 99 Ford Ranger to Dick Masheter for service three times now. Each visit was for different reasons, and each time I received great customer service and I was very satisified with the final outcome of my visit. The first visit was simply to get the engine professionally detailed/cleaned. Initially the job done was just a steam clean, but after clarifying what I wanted done (I wanted it to look like a new engine), they did a super job. Because it took an additional day, they cut the price in half (hence, I was very happy). The second time was for a problem with my 4 x 4 relay switch/wiring. It was hard for them to find because it was bad wiring that needed to be found and repaired. They did a great job, and I paid a fair price for labor required to find it. The third visit was for a transmission related problem that was no longer present when I dropped off the vehicle. I let them keep the truck for 2 days to try to recreate the problem, but it would not reappear. I had some other work done while there as a convenience. Because they could not find any problem with the transmission or any circuits related to it, and I had just had it in the shop a month ago for the 4 x 4 problem, they did not charge me for the diagnostics ($85) used in trying to find the problem. Wendell was a great customer service advisor (he has been noted similiar in other reviews). I found these reviews while looking for a phone number, noticed some rated the service poor or worse, so that prompted me to write this review.

My wife owns an 06 Focus, still in basic and extended warranty at the time of this writing. She called "our friend" Dick Masheter and inquired about repair or replacement of a windsshield wiper motor that failed during a terrible rainstorm yesterday. When she asked about the warranty she was told that it was not covered under warranty and that it would be 350 dollars. He simply wanted to rip off a woman for car repairs--there can be no other reason for this. We called another dealership who told us immediately that the defect was covered and got her car in right away. Make no mistake--there are people in this dealership's service department who are either lowlife criminals or absolutely stupid dorks. Would you trust your car and your safety to either one? Not us!

I payed over $3,000.00 for their Platnium rewards card and was told that I would get free oil changes for the life of my truck and all they want to do is add on extra expences. I have even taken my truck for second opinions on a repair that they insisted I needed to have done and the other service garage stated that I did not! It realy upsets me when Some one tries to cheat me. I went in for my supposed free oil change this morning and they said I had to get a fuel filter or I would have to pay for my oil change. To me that is fraud and blackmale. I will not buy another vehicle from them and I plan on letting evey person I meet know of their deceptive practices!

My buying experience was fine- nothing wrong with that. It's been the service end that has set me over the edge! The service men are rude and condescending. I was turned away for an oil change when I went to the "quick lube" side of the service station (where I was told to go when I bought my car) saying I needed an appointment. Well, my schedule does not allow me to make an appointment and I was told when I bought my car I didn't need one if I used that side. That is not the only reason, but I don' thave enough space- it was the final one to piss me off.

I went to Dick Masheter to have service done on my Ford Explorer and to have the recall work done on the cruise control. All of the staff were professional and very friendly. They took time to explain repairs that I didn't fully understand, and were more candid than I expected about what were typical problems for my vehicle. They were not the best at returning phone calls, but my service rep (Wendell) was always available when I called in.Once I received my estimate I did some checking with some knowledgeable friends about the quoted prices and also did some comparison shopping on the price they quoted for new tires. My research indicated their prices were a little on the high side, but not unreasonable (especially for a dealer, they usually do charge more). When I talked to them about what I had found, they were willing to match competitor prices on the tires (a significant markdown) and gave me a discount on the other repair work to bring it down to what I considered not only reasonable but competitive prices (especially when you consider they were providing factory original parts). This really didn't require a lot of negotiation on my part, just a little research and a brief conversation about what I found.Once I authorized the repairs they were completed within the estimated time, and though I didn't need it, they even offered to supply a loaner vehicle.Finally, when I went to pick up the car, I found that one of the repairs they had estimated didn't actually need to be done, they realized they had misdiagnosed a problem and I actually needed a much simpler (and less expensive) repair. Rather than pocket the money, or overcharge for the work they did to offset the discounts, they fixed the problem and charged me the lower price. (Call me a cynic, even though it should be standard practice it's not really what I expect from car repair shops).Overall I thought it was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. As much as I would have preferred to have the competitive prices without having to do the research, you can't blame them for trying to make money, that is what they are there to do. Wendell was awesome, and they will be on the top of my list the next time I need my vehicle serviced.

I bought a ford explorer, and in one month after the purchase, I have had the vehicle only ten days out 30. It has been in to be fixed three times and this last time they have had it for two and a half weeks and still have not fixed it yet. They have lied continually about the vehicle and the warranty, only to find out that the problem is covered under the warranty. Then they were going to use used parts to fix it after they promised me to my face that they were not going to. I would not only not recommend this dealership I will do everything in my power to make sure that people DO NOT buy from dick masheter ford. No body deserves to be treated the way we have and to be lied to.

After purchasing a 06 Five Hundred last year, I was very happy with the salesperson (B. Prater). As part of my purchase I was given a "gold card" and told that I would get "lifetime $15.95 oil changes" I have had my oil changed there ever since. My most recent visit to Quick Change provided me a much different picture of your business. I was told if I didnt do my regular maintenance there I wasn't eligible for the 15.95 oil changes and that the lifetime price was now 18.95. I guess I have a different definition of lifetime. I was also asked if I wanted my tires rotated. My response was no. I carefully watched the technician not rotate my tires. When my car was ready I was told that my bill was over $40. When I asked why, the response was the cost for the tire rotation. When I responded that I said no to the tire rotation and that the tires werent rotated any way, the service advisor removed the charge, and let me know that I wasnt welcome to visit the business for $15.95 oil changes, which were now $18.95 by the way, because I didnt have my regular maintenance performed there. When I responded those stipulations on the gold card were never communicated to me, nor was the gold card represented to me that way by your staff at the time of the sale, I was rudely told that I was incorrect, and that is the way it has always been. I reluctantly paid the $18.95 price plus the inflated charge for the extra quart of oil not covered in the deal. When I arrived home I found the original gold card paperwork, it didnt mention any conditions for receiving the lifetime price on the oil changes.In any event, now that I know I am no longer welcome there, I wont be back, for anything short of a recall on either of my two Ford vehicles! My future purchases will not be from Ford (Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, ect.) either.My friend Dick Masheter, I think NOT! I guess I have a different definition of friend also.Sincerely,Andrew R.
