Jessica was very helpful. She already had the vehicle that we were interested in ready at the customer parking lot to be inspected. She was very helpful in assisting my wife. She has a very pleasant demeanor and provided a seamless process in the purchase of the vehicle. There was no pushy sales tactics and the dealership offered extremely competitive pricing. Would recommend Dick's to anyone considering a Nissan.

Henry and Sean were GREAT! Both were knowledgeable and patient with my questions and negotiations. Only reason I did not put 5 stars is because negotiating with the sales manager Jeremy was like pulling teeth for a very small amount of money. All in all though I would recommend Sean and Henry to all of my family and friends.

This was one of the better experiences buying a vehicle that I have ever had. Most of the sale was handled over email. There were no pushy sales gimmicks, not after sales harassment and no pushy financing deals. I liked it so much it led directly to a second sale of a vehicle to a friend of mine that I sent there. This is how car sales should work. Great job!

Bought my odyssey from this dealership in Nov 2015. It was awesome experience with Anthony Pelpola. He was very patient in answering all my questions with absolute zero pressure. When I went there for my first oil change a couple of weeks back, Anthony recognized me and came to say hi.Unfortunately during the purchase process, also had to deal with Jeremy who is very arrogant and absolutely had no respect for his customers.If not for Anthony, I would not recommend this place because of people like Jeremy.

First they understood that we both would purchase--Jean and Myrth. Rachel C. was the first contact on the web and phone. She was SWIFT and yet not pushy while not overstating what she was not responsible for deciding. She connected us with Anthony. He called to confirm the appointment. They met a fair price for the new car and a fair price for the trade in. Anthony was honest, direct, and good natured while being knowledgeable. My issues were resolved in a very quick and agreeable manner. The guy who washed my car left soap on it and lots of spots. It wasnt buffed. The wheels where half washed. The car wash was a Complementary service with my interior detail. But it should still be done right.

I had gone to Dick's Hillsboro Honda for service on my Civic from the time they opened for business. When it came time to by a new car I wanted to get a 2017 Accord hybrid, which was in short supply because production on the car had just begun. Dick's Hillsboro Honda found the car I wanted at another dealership, and sent one of their drivers to pick it up. As the car was being delivered, it was rear-ended at a stoplight. Dick's found yet another car that met my specifications and delivered it that same day. They were terrific every step of the way.

I bought my Accord Coupe here in 2011 and have continued to come back for maintenance, not that it's needed much besides routine oil changes. My service manager was very nice and helpful. Even though he was dealing with construction and temporary digs, he made sure his customers were taken care of. I also like that this dealership points out work that needs to be done, but does not up-sell on work that does NOT need to be done, just to make money.

I came in without an appointment and was greated by Kevin with a friendly smile and my pilot was immediately taken in. I was escorted to the beautiful waiting room where I sat in a comfy chair. Throughout my wait several employees walked by all smiling and asking if I needed anything, at one point Kevin came in and let me know it wouldn't be much longer and asked if he could get me anything. As soon as my pilot was finished, Kevin came and got me check out was fast and Kevin walked me to my vehicle!! A+++!

The service people were kind, they listened, they contacted us about what was found in order to see if we want an oil leak fixed now or later. Also, they magically were able to get the motorized back doors of my van to work again, and they hadn't been working for months! They quoted the replacement of the tracks, but otherwise didn't charge for their time to miraculously get them working again! They told us what to be aware of that needed work in the future, too, which I appreciated! And they washed the car, which saved us time in our week! I am extremely grateful! We have come to this location since we purchased the car, and it has gone through ownership changes, and probably some ups and downs with that. They are doing it right, and we are grateful!

I came in without an appointment and was greated by Kevin with a friendly smile and my pilot was immediately taken in. I was escorted to the beautiful waiting room where I sat in a comfy chair. Throughout my wait several employees walked by all smiling and asking if I needed anything, at one point Kevin came in and let me know it wouldn't be much longer and asked if he could get me anything. As soon as my pilot was finished, Kevin came and got me check out was fast and Kevin walked me to my vehicle!! A+++!

I scheduled an appointment with the online tool and unknowingly put the wrong date in. When I arrived the gentleman that checked me in not only found me in the system, but ensured that since I was there, they would squeeze me in for my oil change. Service was prompt with low wait time despite not having an appointment. I left my receipt on the counter and the rep literally ran after my car as I was driving away to be sure I had it for my records. He was the definition of superb customer service! Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and always go above and beyond for the customer. I am a Director of Sales and can say I would be giving him a raise to retain him on my staff!

Alex did a great job helping me select my new Honda. He listened and asked questions. This Approach helped me narrow down the options to exactly what I needed. The only bump in the road was the VIN etching charge of $399. The document offering VIN etching reads optional but the guy who handles the paperwork and the sales manager said I had agreed to the price so I agreed to it. To be fair it was listed on the documents I signed (agreeing to the price) but it was not discussed. I suggest they be more transparent regarding the optional VIN etching charge early in the price negotiations. That was a minor bump and not a dealbreaker. Overall I had a smooth car buying experience. I would send my friends and family to buy from Alex.

Quick intake, price was as quoted and fair. Basic inspections included (tires, brakes, battery) and that is a HUGE value because it may identify a problem I don't notice. Also-on a previous trip a mystery mechanic fixed the loose upholstery on my door and I was surprised later that day when I noticed. There was no charge on the bill. They were nice enough to take care of the other door's fabric this time around and I am beaming with happy. Thanks very much, it is highly appreciated and I realize it is not normally what you guys fix.

I bought my Accord Coupe here in 2011 and have continued to come back for maintenance, not that it's needed much besides routine oil changes. My service manager was very nice and helpful. Even though he was dealing with construction and temporary digs, he made sure his customers were taken care of. I also like that this dealership points out work that needs to be done, but does not up-sell on work that does NOT need to be done, just to make money.

When purchasing a used vehicle that has plates and good tags make sure that you take the title to DMV on your own. My husband bought a car and was told that he would get a refund for $115 since they didn't have to get plates or tags for the car and then when we called to check on the status of the refund we were told that they didn't have to give him a refund because they charge $115 as a convenience fee for them transferring the title for the customer. I suppose that's what we get for paying in cash and trusting people who work at a car dealership to follow through with their promises.

I have now bought two cars from this dealership, and both have been used, and both experiences have been above and beyond what they're called to do! Teresa was the woman we worked with on the 2nd car, and SHE WAS AMAZING! We actually bought a car here with a friend, and Theresa helped us then also! She was completely honest and earned our trust quickly, which I can't say for other dealerships we've been around. My wife and I went back to her for our second car, and we weren't disappointed! She picked out a perfect Honda Accord for my family, and we test drove it around and looked at other dealerships to see if there were any other cars we were interested in. In driving this accord, we quickly felt this was the perfect car for my baby, my wife, and I, and after discussing it with them, they made us a deal! They even served us hot chocolate while we waited! We were also able to work with them down to the price we needed it to be in order to afford it, and the whole dealership worked seamlessly to get this car into our hands for the price we wanted! I also was recommended to this dealership by one of the mechanics that works for them, and I would trust this good friend with my life, so there is something different about this dealership than others. Obviously this is my opinion and experience, but I have bought cars from other places, but I've never seen a dealership work flawlessly 3 completely different times for people, and each person come away completely satisfied with the customer service, the product, and the follow-up also! They truly care about the customer and their reputation and are willing to go above and beyond to serve your car needs! I would vouch for these people any day now because they have proven themselves to be honest and actually care about the person rather than the product! After having asked questions about ticking noises and oil high oil consumption for years last August Honda sent me the official recall letter. Excessive Oil consumption due to piston ring problems. I decided to bring it in as it was again sounding very raw and sometimes ticking especially when cold or taking a turn. After a rough start (seemed no one ever heard about this recall) they performed the official calibration test meaning a full oil change and calibration (mileage) with the request to come in after 3k miles.My car has only 35k miles and after 2800 miles and oil live at 70% and no oil light on yet the sounds were so terrible that I felt I had to bring it in: More than 2 quarts oil gone! This is almost double of what it considered reason to investigate the engine but I got the 'that's normal' answer. I expect this car to be fixed, from a mileage perspective it is brand new and during the last 'full inspection' everything came out fine ... except oil levels.Should I wait till oil life is 15%, the light comes on or the engine runs into the ground to consider it 'excessive'? It makes no sense, if there is one case where this warranty recall is valid it is this one. I do not know why I have to do another test (oil topped off and come back in a 1000 miles). Imagine you drive a couple of thousand a month ... you would be in there every few weeks to add oil because that's 'normal'?I bought my car at this dealership and I would hope that they would look out for their customers a bit better. I understand this is a factory problem which can as everything where people are involved create a problem no and then but this is why you have a service department Honda: To fix the things that are wrong.

He told he can try to fight for the price he quoted and bombarded me to buy a car within the next few hours. When I told him I need time to decide he started to disrespect me and strong armed me into buying the same day. Finally he accepted to give me time and asked me to come back the next day. The next day they increased their price by 1k than that they quoted and challenged me to find a better deal. I was offered a deal that was 1k higher than what the same guy quoted the previous day and told he missed a few things in his last quote "By MISTAKE" and told that "EVEN YOU MAKE MISTAKE". Who the **** he is to judge me. When the issue went to the Manager Michael DeSantis, he spoke with arrogance and literally cursed me that if I don't buy there I might end up buying somewhere else for higher price. His reaction was shocking and I really feel betrayed by the experience as it was supposed to be my first car. NEVER GO TO DICK's HONDA. The way they treat you is right in their name... PS: I would have given 0 star if I could have.

I moved from CA to OR (Hillsboro) for work, and decided to try and grab the new Honda Civic 2016 (the model look, compared to the previous Civic model 2012-2015, was likely the main driving force). I knew I wanted to lease (I couldn't afford a really expensive car right off the bat, but could get something super nice after a couple years of working, so a bare-bones, good-looking car that wouldn't break down was my objective), but I hadn't began work yet so price was key. I ended up working with Andrew B., Matt M., and Anthony P., and they were beyond helpful. They worked with me to find my desired car (Civic 2016 of course), while really helping me maneuver the price to what I felt was affordable (e.g. post-graduate discount, etc.). For this, I was especially grateful. While all of them were vital to helping me obtain my Civic at a very affordable price, Andrew was the one stand-out guy who really made the process a lot easier. Though he was new, he was quite knowledgeable. Furthermore, he was friendly, personable, funny, and just a really cool dude, in general. That made the process a lot easier, since it felt that he was genuinely looking out for my interests, rather than just trying to force me into a sale.If you're reading this, thanks a ton man. I appreciate the efforts you helped put into getting me my Civic. Appreciate it!

I recently bought a used 2005 Honda CR-V from this dealership with the help of dealer Alex Rowe; it was an awesome experience! I am recent college grad who was looking to buy their first car and had no idea where to start, other than knowing the make and model I wanted. After visiting several dealerships in the last couple of weeks, I was pretty skeptical to check out another one. However, I am so glad I did! The car is in great shape/condition and is EXACTLY what I wanted for a price that was unbelievably affordable. Alex was extremely pleasant to work with, was very flexible with my schedule (I had to leave the appointment mid-deal and was able to wrap things up a few hours later when I came back, no problem), and was very genuine, which can be hard to come by when dealing with used cars. Seriously great experience!

To start with, I got my Honda Civic 2015 with this dealer. I desperately in need of a car and I have fixed Honda Civic in my mind. That made it easy for me to get my first Car and I am happy with the sales and services till now. Now coming to the Upgrade Program. I happen to visit the dealer to get my flat tire fixed. To kill time I went in to the Sales section to know more about the Civic 2016 as I am amazed about the new Civic look and to find my chances to get a better deal to think about moving to Civic 16. Initial conversations were good and them showed me the new Civic. But I am curious to know the value of my vehicle to proceed but they never understand what we wanted. So I happen to go along with their procedure (which i think they find a way to kill their time :P ). The Saleswomen was good with the way she conveys and she is kind. Finally comes the man who happens to be a higher official to her. The way he talked to me seems like "Either buy my new vehicle right now tonight or leave the place". He is not even ready to give the value for my vehicle. It is easy for me to know the price from KBB, but my intention is to get a fair price from the dealer. To the Sales people: You may be better in talking to people whatever you think. Try to learn what the other peoples need and talk, that makes your talk worth. We are dealing with thousands of $$ not in cents and dime. If its your goal to sale 65 cars in Nov 2015, doesnt mean you have to be so rude on all the customers who come in and listen to you. I agree from your side that many do just walk in and do a test drive and go away, which might irritate you. But that doesn't mean all come in with the same intention. You should understand there are potential buyers like me. This is not about giving a bad review. This is the first time I am doing a online review. Now you know the frustration I had when I left your dealership yesterday. This is just to let you know who/how you are and who/how I am. I am happy to own my Honda, definitely not happy that I got from your dealership. Lesson Learned: I wasted 2 hrs of my evening.

I saw an ad for a used Toyota Highlander at Dick's Honda on craigslist and went out to look at it that evening just before they closed. Alex showed us the car, and spent quite a while going over the vehicle with us before we decided to buy it. There was a small issue on the car that we asked to have fixed on it before we would take it home, which they took care of first thing the next morning. The deal was easy and smooth, the price of the vehicle was excellent in comparison to what other dealers were asking for almost exactly the same vehicle. Alex was very patient with us and never pressured us to buy. We came back the next evening to get the car, the minor issue with the car was fixed, it was clean and well detailed, and Alex came in on his day off to finish the deal. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, and the atmosphere was very low pressure. We won't hesitate to buy a car from this dealership again, it was probably one of the best and easiest car buying experiences we've ever had.

I was referred over to the Honda shop by Dick's Ford store. I wanted to get out of a Ford Lease early and they really did their very best to help me out. I still had to own up to the negative equity situation, but I feel they gave me a good trade price and new purchase price. All the while I dealt with the Alex Rowe who is a phenomenally nice guy and knew a lot about his product. We actually had fun together as we waited during various parts of the process! I came to this Honda because it was the only Honda nearby that had a Fit in stock for test driving. When I arrived I was paired up with a sales associate named David. He was excellent! When the Fit didn't end up working for me he helped me in finding an alternative that would work for me. Once the test drive was over I realized that I was going to get a CRV, but I told David I wanted to shop around before I made my final decision. Pardon the flow of this review as it was copy and pasted from my Yelp review. I tried to submit a nine-page (21,000 character) narrative here on everything that has happened at the hands of Hillsboro Honda, but it was too long, that why this is so cut down.I purchased a 2007 Honda Odyssey from this business in December 2014. Since then, the vehicle has spent the better part of two months on and off in a different Honda service center in attempt to diagnose a potential sub-frame or steering issue. Since the vehicle had gone in I discovered the same problem had been discovered by a technician at Hillsboro after they acquired it. After gathering Hillsboro's service paperwork on the van I learned the technician had negligently or fraudulently marked the vehicle as passing all tests in order for it to get a 2 year warranty. A day after it passing, the same technician made over $1,500 in repairs to the vehicle. Since buying this van, no one has been able to diagnose the problem and despite sending Hillsboro the nine page narrative of everything we've done, along with proving the technicians negligence or fraud, they've been hands off.Hillsboro also cancelled my warranty the day I bought my van which caused a huge headache in getting it restored. The van I bought was also previously a fleet vehicle in New York. It was bought by Hillsboro at an auction. There was a large amount of rust found on the van by my local Honda dealer. None of this was ever at any point told to me during the purchase. After they acquired the vehicle Hillsboro didn't get a title to it. They then sold it to me without having the title to it. I had to spend a week's worth of on and off again phone calls to get this addressed. It never got addressed so I had to work with DMV in getting them to bypass what Hillsboro should have done a long time ago. Luckily DMV never suspended my registration like they said they would if Hillsboro didn't reach out to them. This has gotten so bad that a dealership complaint has been filed with the DMV, an official Oregon Attorney General complaint packet and BBB complaint were filed. I am also in the process of working with someone at the corporate level at Honda. They have acknowledged their negligent and potentially even criminal conduct and made a minimal effort in correcting their mistake. Do not go to this dealership. If they are willing to do all this to my family and I, it can most certainly happen to you.UPDATE:The Service a Manager Richard reached out to me and payed to have the van diagnosed, and for a loaner civic while the van was in the shop. Within a week Richard got back to me and said the problem was fixed. This was confirmed upon my return. I commend Richard for swallowing the pride of the dealership and taking the vehicle in. Unfortunately though, blame was pointed toward the Albany dealership and aside from fixing the problem (a lack of grease in the driveshafts), no accountability from Dicks was seen.UPDATE:The Better Business Bureau got involved since my last update. Dicks initially provided minimal feedback to BBB, but a letter from Sales Director Sam Riley was eventually sent to the BBB agent. Sam spun to the BBB that I had only had my Honda at the other dealership for the better part of two months and that it stayed parked there and not worked on because I did not want to pay a diagnostic fee. This is very incorrect and bending the truth that was told directly to his Service Manager. Sam went on to state my complaints with the BBB were part of a, "New list," an not previously brought up with his dealership. This is also either misinformation provided to him by his own employees or a lie to minimalist this problem. Leaning on their touted CarFax reports, Sam says there was no history of any accidents; and that based on his knowledge, there are numerous vehicles with surface rust and previous fleet and or rental status' which according to him, "Neither of which are safety or disclosure issues."Sam eventually ends his letter by apologizing for the registration problems I had to address and offers $200 to reimburse me for the inconvenience. Further, Sam states the vehicle was purchased, As Is," and they refused to provide any additional compensation. The $200 was refused and BBB advised the business no longer wished to work with me. BBB advised a unsatisfactory notation would be added to the business.UPDATE:As of late August 2015, the shuddering issue this whole problem was about came back. I've reached out to BBB to let them know the problem has come back. UPDATE: 10/2015Since 10/2015, the problem still exists. It was offered to me by the general Manager that I bring the van back again. I asked to have the van looked at by another Honda dealership and was denied. I also requested another option be that I be given my money back for the van if it was returned. This was also denied.

I came into get some maintenance and brought a letter that said I was able to trade in my car for a newer model and keep the same payment. I recently found out that I am pregnant and need to upgrade to a larger vehicle so asked about the offer. The sales person, Alex Rowe, was really knowledgeable and personable and not pushy at all. I was really nervous about increasing my payments and they worked with me to keep my payments low, while also getting into a CRV. Overall a wonderful experience!

My wife and I went in at 5:00pm a couple days before Labor Day. I had seen a very good offer online (and had it confirmed over the phone when I called them) for their Honda CRV, but when we got there it was impossible for them to repeat the value quoted in the ad. We were given a reasonable tour through their existing stock. We took two short test drives with a CRV and then an HRV. We knew within an hour what we wanted, but they delayed us while the sales person alternately disappeared into one or another of their sales trailers. They were rude when we asked for a price quote (stating it was being processed and that we should just be patient). They told us the color we wanted was not available. After 3 hours we decided to leave and get dinner, though I had to demand, over their protestations, that they return our keys (to our trade-in Honda) and my credit card. They were very reluctant to comply with my request. The sales person promised to get me the numbers the following morning, by 11:00, as to the cost of the CRV and the trade-in value for our Civic. At noon the following day I called her and asked for the numbers. She denied that they were available, so I told her to call me back by 1:00pm with the numbers or else drop us from her client list. At 1:30 her manager called me to suggest that we were asking too much of them, and if only we would come back in for another round of delay and customer abuse, they would be able to straighten everything out. He also refused to give me any numbers so I told him we were done, and to never call me again. I hung up and he called back instantly to which I told him again to never call me. When he called back again within 10 seconds I asked if I needed to get the police involved in his phone harassment sales process. He stated that we were now off his list and so far there seems to have been no ill effects, though they may have sold my info since I have recently begun to get more spam than ever before and even some of those old Nigerian money scams about millions waiting to be claimed from one of my long lost relatives .Over Labor Day there were some decent Dealership sales going on so we bought exactly what we wanted, for the price and color we were quoted at Dick Hannahs Honda in Vancouver. The sales and service team were great, though I had a sense that some old time sales pressure could have been lurking in the background. We were firm and they complied, showing us the numbers within 30 minutes of our arrival at their lot. We negotiated a few items and they were courteous as we worked through the deal, which overall took about 90 minutes.

I did not feel at all "flimflammed" as I have in the past with other car purchases. The price was negotiated based on the true value of the pickup and a pre-approval loan which I had brought with me from my credit union. That was a helpful discussion tool. I was shopping for a Civic EX-L and got a good Internet quote from Sonja. Priced cars with the nearest Honda dealer to me, who gave me a good quote, but didn't match my internet quote from Dick's. I drove out to Dick's and spoke with Teresa Ford. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and the dealership was willing to honor the internet quote but, unfortunately, the vehicle had been sold. They had no other EX-Ls in stock since the model year is coming to an end. Working with Ryan Lawson and Teresa, they were able to match my target price by upgrading the EX-L to an EX-L with navigation. How could I go wrong with everything I wanted plus more, at a great price??!! I am VERY satisfied with my purchase and will definitely recommend Dick's Hillsboro Honda to friends.

When we first arrived, we were greeted by Teresa who visited with us. We then went and looked at cars. The car we test drove was very nice but over our budget. We told her what we wanted to spend and she went to run the numbers. Unfortunately, the car was still out of our budget. I came back the next afternoon with my sister to test drive another car, with more miles. Teresa had another customer at the time. We met with another guy. When we sat down to do more talking about price. it was clear that he was not budging . I clearly stated what we wanted but he just kept coming back to the other number and unwilling to go the extra mile. We ended up walking away. Teresa ended up reaching out to us the other night. After a long conversation, we were able to get the price close to what we wanted to spend. We appreciated Teresa going to bat for us and understanding our needs which she remembered from the original interaction. We were able to purchase the car and be within our budget.

We worked with Juan Valenzuela, we were able to get the car we wanted for a price point we wanted to stay at. We were comparing the Civic with the Toyota Corolla and he shared knowledge of each model to make our choice easier. He worked with us to keep the price point no more than what were willing to pay. Once that was established the signing of the paperwork was one of the easiest we've gone through.

My Mother-in-law purchased a pre-owned Honda CRV from Dick's Honda. They were very helpful and the sale went very smooth. The only complaint we had was that we were told it had head sets and a remote for the DVD player and when we got the vehicle home, they were nowhere to be found. The manager said they would get them to us but that never happened UNTIL Mandi Dehaven went above and beyond and got this matter handle very quickly. We will certainly recommend that people ask for her when they go to Dick's Honda!

My pick-up just had the transmission go south and I had been already pondering the thought of a vehicle that got better fuel economy than 12 MPG!!!!!! I stopped at Dick's Hillsboro Honda on a Mazda 3 that was on the web-site..... Zach helped me right away and then Gary came into the picture when we sat down to talk prices..... These two gentlemen should be the models of how salesmen should be.... Helpful, honest, straight forward, and knowledgeable when it came to the vehicle I was interested in and in the financing.... I came back the next day as promised and finished up the paperwork.... By far the best experience I've ever had from any dealer!!!!

We came in to Honda to purchase a new car. It was 102 degree weather. Despite the hot weather, dealer Gary Valentic assisted us in looking at new vehicles and answering all our questions. We are new car buyers and Gary was very patient and took his time to explain everything. Have had my Civic serviced here for a few months before coming back to purchase new vehicle. Service department is efficient, clear in their explanations, and fair. Wait times low. When buying new car, similar experience. Appreciated minimum haggling and clear pricing on vehicles. It was nice to be able to shop multiple lots in the same dealer family. They were dedicated into getting me into the right car for my budget and values. Good experience.

I purchased a used vehicle here with a service contract that had a disappearing deductible.They have historically tried to sell me early timing belts and serpentine belts for false reasons.I took my vehicle to Dick's Hyundai right around the corner from me because they said they would honor the service contract.Turns out not the disappearing deductible though and I was told that is the way it is...I was referred to the finance manager who, after two voicemails, failed to return my call.I finally got ahold of him and he claimed he writes everything down and he doesn't have record of me calling. He also told me he could view my contract but not the details and he couldn't help me.This is the last straw, I will never be calling or returning for service which he was very happy about and ended the call.

We had a nice enough experience with buying the car from Dicks, however, after we got the car is when Dick's Honda showed their true color as a group of people that do not care about the customer AT ALL! We bought a used Honda Odyssey and within the first few days the AC had issues, I talked to Gary and he "setup an appt" for me to get it checked out. Well, I get to Dick's Honda and Gary pawned me off on Alex, who then pawned me off on someone else who then TRIED TO SELL ME A CAR! I setup an appt for checking out the car and instead they tried to just sell me a new car! WHAT A JOKE! Then less then a week later we are on a road trip to Utah and stopped in Boise. Well, on the way THE AC QUIT! I took it into a Meineke and they said the A/C compressor was dying/almost dead and any dealership should have actually caught this and REPAIRED IT BEFORE EVER SELLING! It is going to cost me between $500 (replace A/C compressor only) to $1800 (to replace the whole A/C system). I will NEVER do business with Dick's Auto Group EVER AGAIN! What a huge waste of time and money. I hope others will read this and go elsewhere, Dick's Auto Group is not your friend after you buy a car from them, at that point they are just dicks!

I had been car shopping for two weeks and had visited 3 other dealers before coming into Hillsboro Honda. I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted and could spend.... The 3 other dealers that I had visited were all low-balling me on my trade not to mention it was like pulling teeth to get them to give me a price and all for not as we were light years apart on price.... And don't get me started about the hidden dealer installed items that don't ever show up until the very end!!!! Working with Gary Valentic was a breath of fresh air.... He listened to my needs and wants and hit the mark!!!! Not only did he get me exactly what I wanted he did it with-in my budget without going over!!!! We want to thank to two people today. Carlos was the dealer. He was very patient for hours of the whole sales process. Brian helped us with the financing process. He was very patient and helpful in many ways as well. My family is very satisfied with the purchase of the Honda Civic 2015 today here at Dick's auto group. And for sure, in future, we will make a trip to this facility to get another Honda car, if we ever need. The facility was nice and comfortable. Just think a renovated facility may need a childcare space a bit bigger and safer. There were three kids including ours playing in a small top spot. It was not managed well nor well-equipped for toys for toddler/preschooler. I suggest this one. Then, 100% satisfied!

To preface this review, our 2005 explorer with less that 85K blew up. Repair est $3800.00. Not an option as I was unemployed for a year and a half and we are just climbing out of the hole. We decided on a Honda, so we called several dealerships and set the first appointment with Dick's Hillsboro. Brian Clark answered the call. When we arrived he greeted us with a casual smile, a good sence of humor. After a fasion we ended up with a Subaru Impreza. Great milage. We drove it home, due to physical limatations(I need a hip replacement) The car was uncompfortable to drive. I need a hip replacement. We contacted Brian he said they would take care of us. OK what does that mean?!. What it means is... They closed the first loan, put us in a late model Hyundai Sante Fe (we really like it) got the interest rate lowered. OK wow. They tookcare of us. All the managers had a hand in this from the top down. I will recomended Brian and all the managers. This is the first dealership I will recommend to my friends! Thank you for a great finish guys!

I needed to find a very reliable car for my daughter who has one year left in nursing school at University of Portland. Alex Rowe did a very nice job in taking over from a previous salesman who left the dealership after working with us for a few weeks. Adam was excellent in meeting our needs. However, the Sales Manager tried profoundly hard to undervalue our trade-in and devalue lifelong car maintenance and knowledge. We finally compromised and purchased a 2016 Honda HRV. Eliminating the low-ball $$ manipulation and being, dare I say "fair" to consumers upfront is what will generate return customers, not nickel and diming them (Sales Manager).Overall fairly-quality experience, however, I might reconsider the 4 hour drive next time considering the sale price we saw online that prompted the drive was not the price paid.

I searched all over the western USA to find a red, Honda Fit, with a manual tranny, and no sun roof. Dick's was the only place I could find one. I live in Utah, and had a long trip to make. I caught a ride to Boise, and flew into Portland, Alex Rowe, who's a salesman at Dick's, drove all the way from Hillboro to pick me up. The buying expirience was great! better than any I've ever had at a dealership. All the staff I delt with were knowlegable and nice. Though I had to drive all the way back to Utah, mostly in rain storms, It was a great expirience. The manual tranny Fit, is rated at 33/37 mpg. I got 38/ 41.3 / and 38.5 my fisrt 1,000 miles.

I found the car I've been wanting for years online and so I contacted Dick's with hopes of checking out the car. Ashley and Jeremy contacted me immediately and set up a visit that day. Jeremy was busy with customers when I walked in so Adam helped me instead. We went for a test drive and discussed purchasing plans. Adam was very friendly during the whole process and not annoyingly pushy like sales representatives can often be (I was one of those at one point). Jeremy came over and we discussed more options, and then I went home to think about everything. I figured out my finances, came back two days later and bought the car. It was a simple process (as much as it can be for buying a car) and I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point. Mike helped me with all the contract and financial stuff, and I he seemed very honest and helpful throughout the process. I walked in expecting to hate the process with all the sales and contracts, but it wasn't too bad!

We were looking for a commuter car without being fully decided on one. Honda Fit was an option, but we spent more time on Nissan Versa and had some bad experiences in the Nissan dealerships. Our visit to Dick's Honda was very pleasant, we had a great sales person, Teresa, who made us feel respected, understood and fairly treated on the price. Moreover we liked the car, it's very roomy, 130 horsepower, rear camera and the magic seats are quite useful. Teresa was amazing is making our car shopping experience a pleasant one.

I've always hated going to dealerships, especially as a female. My experience with Jeremy was 100% positive and professional without hesitation. I actually enjoyed my car buying experience. Also, immediately afterwards I had an unusual circumstance with my home loan which required expedited paperwork from the dealer, and Brian in finance was on point. This is the first time I wrote the bad review like this. I just want to let people know to be careful when shop for cars at Honda Dicks. First, I scheduled some appointments and the sales didn't do a good job to prepare what I was asking for. The first and 2nd appointment, the car I was going to see was not there or sold to someone else. Secondly, the interest rate was different than what they quoted me the first time and it was only 1 week apart. I have over 800 credit score and they were going to give me 3.99% for the car loan which was ridiculous. I had negotiated to a lower rate. Still, it's not the rate they quoted me the first time. My roommate had the similar experience. Thirdly, the sale person is not knowledgeable to sell the car. I kept asking if there was homelink feature in the model and he said yes several times. He said if there is no homelink, he would get it installed out of his pocket. Guess what? There's no homelink and he didn't even mention to get it for me anymore. He even lied to me about the service manager was out of the office for a couple days and not available to answer his questions about homelink.Fourthly, the accessories I purchased for my new car didn't turn in to service department. I had to go to the service department to find out what happened. It turned out that the order didn't come through.After all the things happened, I would not and not ever again to buy the car at Honda Dick's Hillsboro. It's the worst experience ever. I hope the manager can do something about it. Train the sales to be honest and knowledgeable and keep their promise!The very disappointed customerAlice

Purchased our second vehicle through dicks auto group. The first was a brand new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, this time around it was a 2006 Ford F-250. My "new" work truck Vehicle was priced well below anyone else in the area, Purchasing process was a breeze, and Scott (Joseph) was very friendly.Horror did strike while I was working when I was four hundred miles away from home in Yakima Washington and my check engine light popped on while the truck went into what they call limp mode. I was unable to continue doing any work until my truck was back online!Rick Johnson advised me to take it to the local Ford dealership Valley Ford and get it checked out for service. The service tech at Valley Ford found that my EGR valve was stuck open. Almost a $300 bill came up while they told me of this finding, but Rick had the bill taken care of no problem! Not the best experience to go through after getting a vehicle, but the fact that Rick Johnson and Scott Barney were very committed to finding me help when I was so far away from home, is a serious commitment to customer service.If I am ever in need of another vehicle I will yet again returned to Dick's Auto Group for a third vehicle purchase. Thanks again to Rick and Scott!!

We purchased a 2015 Odyssey EX-L and were very pleased with the experience. The process was comfortable and the salesman was very helpful (Vince Ackerman). We were quoted a price via email (from Skip Gallagher), and that is the price we paid (plus a few minor options and license / registration fees).Vince walked us through most of the car features. Both my spouse and I test drove the car. We took advantage of 1.94% financing through the dealer, because it was less than both our credit union rates.My only issue was the amount of time required to finish the deal. We spent five hours at the dealer (9am to 2pm - the first 1.5 hours test driving and overview). However, it was very comfortable the entire time - no pressure. The time went by fast, but on a Saturday there are many other things that need to get done at home. My advice, get there early in the morning and/or provide your own financing to save time.

I emailed on a Friday with a parts question. I needed a part for a 2006 Honda and wondered about interchangeability since the part was hard to find. By the following Wednesday I had not heard from anyone at Hillsboro Honda, so I contacted Beaverton Honda, got an answer to my question, ordered the part, and picked the part up the next day. The parts person at Beaverton Honda was knowledgeable and informed me that the part number had been changed, making my initial search more difficult. I emailed Hillsboro Honda again to inform (if anyone is listening) that they had yet to respond to my question and to tell them that I had had better service elsewhere. It is now Saturday of that following week, and I have had no response from Hillsboro Honda. Obviously, I will not be doing business with them in the future.

He is a mellow, quiet-talking guy who was very knowledgeable about the car. We don't care for yakkety-yak fast-talking sales people. Greg let the car sell itself. Dick's Honda is the type of dealership that gives the car sales industry such a bad reputation.A car is probably the second biggest purchase decision that an individual makes, next to their house; so it is understandable that everyone walks in to a dealership looking for a deal.At the same time, I am one who wholly believes in a fair deal- the dealership is not there to sell you a car and lose money. And especially if a salesman treats you right and works his tail off to get you a deal that makes you feel good about it, he deserves (and has earned) a little extra for that work.With all that said, Dick's Honda was not worthy of my business. And from the looks of the run down, unkept condition of their building, I am willing to bet that the majority of people feel the way I do, and end up taking their business elsewhere.I have been in the market for a 2015 CRV EXL. I knew exactly the color scheme I wanted, along with the model and options package.I'm a buyer with excellent credit, cash downpayment, and was prepared to do a deal as soon as a dealership was able to confirm inventory for me.THREE different individuals from this dealership (2 internet sales reps and one floor salesman) have been contacting me for the last 2 weeks, telling me that the car I am looking for is on their lot... then not on their lot... then re-stocked... then sold again.Basically, creating this illusion of short-supply and high demand.Again- this is a typical sales tactic, and I get it. However, they called me on Wednesday to tell me that a "brand new shipment" was anticipated to arrive on Friday, and that the car would be available to buy on Saturday.Now here is where things derail.I was in Seattle at the time, and coming to buy this car would mean I make the 3 hour drive down to Hillsboro solely for the sake of buying this car from them.I told the THREE individuals the same thing:MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS SET UP AND READY- car is in stock, pricing is agreed to, etc.I was not going to make this drive for nothing, after all.I get a call from the salesman, Scott, on Friday evening. He tells me that the car is here, he has physically touched it, and the price is $28,477. I tell him that I will be on my way down first thing in the morning Saturday to seal the deal.Saturday morning, I get a text from one of the internet sales reps, confirming that the car is on the lot, and that they look forward to seeing me.When I was about 2 hours in to my drive en route to Hillsboro on Saturday morning, Scott calls me to tell me that the car I was wanting had sold the night before.I was furious.He then proceeds to tell me that they have an EX model with aftermarket leather on the lot that he can sell me; but that one is going to cost $2,000 more because it has more accessories.BAM- just like that, I realized that I just got taken by a dealership.Is it just an odd coincidence that they just happen to call me 2 hours in to my drive that the car we had come to terms with is no longer available, and that the alternative is going to cost me $2,000 more?Take that with a grain of salt; but I would say their main objective was to get me in their dealership, and knew that I was too far in to my drive at this point to just turn around and go back to Seattle.I get to the dealership in Hillsboro, and Scott proceeds to show me the alternative vehicle, trying to sell me on how "great" it is.I simply ask him for the numbers on this new car, and he wouldn't commit to anything.TWO HOURS later, he is telling me the price for a car that is "on its way" to the dealership, expected to arrive 3 weeks from the current date.Realizing that this was going to be a waste of time, I press him to give me the price of the alternative car, and he brings over a porky pig looking fellow by the name of Chris, who is apparently a sales manager there.5 minutes or so of listening to porky talk to me in a condescending tone (he was the dealership's "closer"), I had enough.I walked out, and headed straight to another dealership- Beaverton Honda.I bought my car that day at Beaverton Honda, and will never even consider this hillbilly operation in Hillsboro again.There is no way I can socialize this to every single potential buyer out there, so the best I can do is leave a review on yelp, and send this exact review to Honda Corporate. If you are in the market for a new or used Honda, please:Do yourself a favor and dont come to this place.I can promise you that this will be a waste of your time, and you will not buy your car here.

My wife and I had recently had a new addition to our family! We already have a 3yr. old son, but were also blessed with another one in October. The vehicle we were driving was a P.T. Cruiser which was not enough room for our family. So it was time to upgrade to a bigger car for our family. After looking at various dealerships online in our area, I found that the vehicles had lower miles and better options and prices at Dick's Honda of Hillsboro. So I took the plunge, and our journey began! I set up an appointment which was very easy to do online, this way they knew what kind of vehicle we wanted while walking in the door. So my wife and I packed up the two boys and went to our appointment where we were greeted by Adam Dhaly. He was our dedicated salesman, and he was amazing! From start to finish he had our families best interest in mind. Needless to say a couple of beverages later and after the cookies my son ate, we left with the vehicle my wife really wanted but I also added the leather package for her which came out beautiful! All at an affordable price with payments that work. I purchased a new 2015 Honda Pilot from Dick's Honda in Hillsboro this past weekend. I honestly was not a fan of purchasing cars because of my past experiences. However, the way my fiance and I were treated has made me since change my mind about the car buying experience. We drove all the way from Seattle as Dick's had the specific Pilot I was looking for. It was well worth our drive and I have even told my friends in Seattle that it is worth the drive to be treated the way we were. TJ is a great salesman who is not pushy like you would get at most dealerships. He takes the time to explain the vehicle to by our as well as fights to get you the best possible deal.Financing is great as well. they fight with the banks to get you the best possible rate. We were shopping for a Honda Accord EX-L and found one at Dick's that we were interested in. We called ahead to make sure it was still for sale and it was. Scott Barney called us and told us he was prepping the car for our arrival. Scott greeted us with a smile and let us take the car for a spin, agreeing to go farther so that I could test out different features. We were very interested in the car, but wanted to sleep on it. We called Scott the next day and told him we were coming to make an offer. He again greeted us with a smile and the negotiating began. It didn't take too long and we agreed on a price. While we were waiting on the paperwork guy, Scott chatted with us, got us water and popcorn and even went out and cleaned the interior of our car (the detailing dept was short handed). Scott answered all of our questions and was very helpful in getting our sale finished and get us on our way in our new (to us) car. A great experience! Go see Scott!

I felt comfortable, and she's the reason I made the hour drive to Hillsboro. Once at the dealership, I was greeted by Amanda as well as Teresa, who was the person helping me through the process. This was the first car I ever purchased, and Adam Dahly made the whole process so much less stressful than I had anticipated. He greeted us quickly as soon as we came in, and since the car I was interested in was out for a test drive, he sat and talked with us. When it became apparent there was a chance the person out on the test drive was going to purchase the car, Adam worked very quickly to make sure I could purchase it first. He was exceptionally helpful and friendly - I absolutely plan to go back and see him for my next car, and would send anyone I knew to him, whether they were looking for a used car or a new one. I would especially encourage someone who was knew to the process or uneasy about buying a car to see Adam - he made sure I understood everything and never once made me feel like I was being pushed or taken advantage of.The price on the car itself was fantastic, and far below the KBB value of the car. It was in wonderful condition, and I couldn't be happier with it.The only thing that was less than great about the process was the brief time with the business/finance person Billie Jo Kidder. I was purchasing the car outright, so the process was very quick. However, she tried to sell me additional things and talked so fast that half the time I had no idea what she was talking about - but, what was very apparent was her condescension towards me when I said I wasn't interested. I found her rude and very off-putting. Luckily, Adam had gone over everything that would be discussed in the business office in advance, so I was prepared.Regardless of the bad experience in the business office, I would still recommend the dealership solely because of the service I received from Adam. He made the whole process a breeze.

As a previous owner of a 2004 Sequoia we knew we wanted to find another one after totaling ours on 12/29. After weeks of research and internet hunting we found one we wanted to look at but it just happened to be at a Honda dealership. My husband did a internet inquiry and had communication with Crystal in that department. She was extremely helpful, answered all our questions and made sure to follow up with us but not in a "irritating" kind of way. She was great. When it came time to negotiate and decide to purchase we were introduced to TJ (Thanooj Fernando) who was also easy to work with. No high pressure sales or up selling. He made sure we were comfortable with our purchase and took care of us from beginning to end. I would highly recommend TJ for sales if you're in the market for a new or used car. Our last stop was financing with Billie Jo Kidder. She was fast and answered all our questions. It's been a long time since I've been in a car dealership purchasing a car and I don't remember it ever being this quick and/or easy.

I don't know how things go at this dealer for financing, as I paid cash for my 2013 Kia Rio (still spent three hours "negotiating" and purchasing), but I can hope it would be a relatively smooth process #redtape. The "boss" is still behind a glass shield, but in the middle of the store; coming across as perhaps more accessible and less intimidating as in a Deal or No Deal nuance. I enjoyed the light-heartedness and personality of my salesperson above all.

She helped answer my initial questions and quoted some enticing incentives. It turned out the Costco pricing was higher, but it got us in. My salesperson, Megan Mazi, was knowledgeable about the Honda Insight EX we came to see. Though there were three on the lot, it was a challenge to get the blue one I wanted running. Megan had to jump the battery and eventually get it replaced. The tire pressure was also low at first, which made it impossible to see the instant MPG until more air was added. But all of this was straightened out in the end through Megan's patience and diligence. I had hoped to avoid bartering, but by doing so, my trade-in initial offer was eventually raised by a factor of 2.5. Although I ended up paying $2K more than I budgeted based on Mary's estimate, I got the car I wanted and feel the price was fair. They even topped off the washer fluid for me the next day when I found it was very low. Overall, it was perhaps my best buying experience to date. I would shop with Mary and Megan again.

I was shopping for a used car. I found a low mileage used Honda at Dick's Hillsboro Honda. I purchased my last used car from Dick's auto group 5 years ago and was happy to deal with them again. What I found at the Honda dealer could not be farther from my first experience with Dick's auto group. I didn't feel like I was at a reputable auto dealership. It was like being at a low class used car dealer. They used high pressure sales tactics. Only fixed one of the things that I asked them to fix. As a woman alone I felt so pushed. Even when I left the dealership and they called me repeatedly on my cell phone and pressured me to come back to the dealership. I went back and bought the car. After getting it home I knew it was a mistake. I called the dealership and asked what their return policy is. I was told they have a 72hr Love it or leave it policy. I needed to work so I asked if milage over 100 miles was ok. They said it was fine. I asked if there were any other restrictions, and was told no. I had my grown daughter call and ask the same questions. She got the same answers. when I took the car back to the dealership I was told they would not take it back because I had driven 194 miles, and there policy is 150 miles. So much for shopping locally. I will never set foot in another Dick's MacKenzie dealership

I'm not kidding. We started the day replacing our cell phone plan through our existing carrier. The convoluted mess of phone plans with this price + this charge - that discount was ridiculous and stressful. I left feeling as if I had been mislead and pretty sure taken advantage of. Later in the afternoon we had an appointment with Vince to purchase a new Accord through the Costco Car Buying Program. Vince had put up with us driving the car multiple times as we narrowed down and ultimately selected the Accord. He was personable and accommodating through every step of the purchase. We never felt pressured or intimidated, even meeting with Bill, the Finance Manager (my experience is that the high pressure sales occurs in that office!). The Costco price was great and we were very happy with the deal we got. Sue loves her new Accord (after about 24 hours). We would definitely go back to Dick's.

Made an appointment to see the 2015 CRV Touring model and drove 240mi round trip, again we had an appointment. So we get there and take it for a test drive and and it only had 5mi on it. So no one else had even test drove it. And we come back to negotiate the sale and in the middle of working out the contract, another salesman came up to the table and rudely reaches over our salesman and literally grabs the keys and says I need these and our salesman says, Why? The guy says I just sold the car. It was the only Touring model on the lot or anywhere in Oregon other than Medford, which is why we made an appointment and drove all that way. They made no effort to even try to help us and just let me walk out of there in tears. We wasted 9 hrs. for absolutely nothing. We will not waste our time again. Worst buying experience ever.

We recently moved my Mom cross country and combined households. She has a 2011 Camry and has decided to leave it with us while she travels, she is retired and still young enough that travelling is enjoyable.The tags expired on her car, and instead of transferring the Title to Oregon, she suggested that we sell it or trade it in for a new car. I took a look at the Costco program, since it has been a long time since I bought a new vehicle. I was impressed with the cost structure and decided that this is the route that I would take. Having a 1991 Accord that we put 260K miles on and a 2007 Acura TL with 140K miles, I knew the Honda/Acura line better than Toyota, so decided to look at the recent offerings.After meeting with the Honda and Acura sales representatives, we actually had better customer service and rapport with the Honda Sales Rep, Thanooj Fernando. He took his time to explain the Costco program and let us ask questions. He not only knew his product, but he did a great job representing the Costco program. After dealing with the two dealerships, I hope that Dicks decides to open an Acura dealership, as I think that they would do a wonderful job.I have heard good things about Dicks Hillsboro Honda from my co-workers, this experience reinforces first hand what they were saying. I look forward to doing more business with them.

We were told for two days in advance and day of purchase that a problem on a preowned car would be repaired and we would buy car. We arrived ready to close after 30 min. drive and it was not fixed and would not tell us how much it would cost. We could have been notified but they put the squeeze on us. The sales manager hid behind his glass partition and never tried to resolve. TJ did his best but was required to sell a lie. Very disappointing and we will not ever return.

Came in to the dealership knowing I wanted a newer Honda Accord. I had some obstacles to get over and also had a strict budget. I looked at a couple different models and found my perfect Accord. I was able to get into a 2015 and keep my payments down. Scott Barney was a terrific salesman and was very patient and calm. Lance was the fiance manager who helped me and all my paperwork was done within minutes. Ryan Lawson was the sale manager working the evening of my purchase and made sure the process was very smooth and easy going. The staff all around were very helpful. I was looking for a late model used car. I started by looking for Toyota's as I own another Toyota and am happy with it. I used the Costco auto buyer program and I was sent to a dealer on the east side of Portland. I went out and met with a typical used car sales person. All I heard were marketing terms from him and not a lot of help in figuring out what I wanted and didn't want. He kept trying to get me inside to talk terms on something, even though I didn't see any car I wanted. I did see the Toyota Yarris and the Scion xB and decided that I could fit in the cars. This was a Friday night.. I was worried that because they were so small, I couldn't fit in them comfortably. The next day I called my mechanic and talked about the small cars I was looking for. My mechanic steered me away from Ford's (due to maintenance costs) and recommended Honda's or Toyota's. I had steered away from Honda's as they were way more expensive than I wanted to pay. So I filled out the Costco form again regarding the Honda's and was referred to Dick's Honda in Hillsboro. I went over and was introduced to Scott Barney. Scott listened to what I needed. Made suggestions, told me my options and helped me narrow down my choices. Scott went as far as referring me to a friend of his at a different car dealership so I could test drive additional Mazda's and Toyota's that he thought would suit my needs. I ultimately bought the car from Scott. I bought the Honda Fit as it met my needs. The rear folding seats were the big seller. The seats folded down flat, or the seat will fold up completely. I'm 6'2" tall and with the seats folded up, I'm able to walk in the back seat area bent over. It's pretty neat. I went to home depot last night and hauled 2 toilets home. After the sale (which occurred on a Sunday evening), the finance department called me back on Wednesday and said based on my credit, I was qualified for a plan that reduced my monthly payment. It wasn't much, but every little bit helps. I would recommend buying from Dick's again and I'll check them out in the future if I happen to be looking for another car.

I live in a different state than the dealership.I inquired about a 99 CR-V ,I believe they just got it,because it had not been to inspection.I read the car fax,and I was going to pay with credit card,sight unseen,except for pictures.I asked the woman(sales person)that all I needed was some pics of interior.I emailed her a couple of times over the course of a week,at which time,she told me the car had been sold.Car dealers sell cars to make money,I understand that,but I do not understand advertizing cars nation wide,knowing an out of state buyer can not physically be there,before somebody else purchases the same vehicle.

This was my first car and i went to Dicks hillsboro honda just because it was near where i lived. It was a terrible experience. I visited them thrice, every single time walking out in despair and anger. Everyone starting from manager to salesmen intimidate you and make fun of your lack of knowledge. Was a terrible experience. For deal negotiation, they sent a guy who was less than a month old. He kept running inside every time we asked him a question. Later, 3rd time, we discussed a deal with them, everything was settled, and just before we sign the papers, the salesman was like "there is a small problem, we dont have the car in red as we promised, why dont u settle with black"....that after 1 month of telling them i wanted a red car. Then the next 10 mins he tried to convince me why red is a police magnet and hence i HAVE TO buy the black they have...What a big joke that place is. SHabbily managed. For them customer is like yet another itch they need to get rid of. You feel depressed and morally degraged when you leave that place. I felt they open shop just to cheat people. Thus after a month long negotiation with these guys, I just turned around , went to Wilsonville honda, drove the car back home in 1 hr...

We have taken two Hondas to this service department and have come away with a really bad taste in our mouths on BOTH accounts. We have unwittingly spent thousands of dollars at this dealership in repairs. Assuming the initial repairs we had done WERE needed, in both cases we were also later told we needed work done which was unnecessary. We know it was unnecessary because we paid to have another dealership (which has kept all our cars in top shape for 20 years!) check out the additional claims made in each case. In one case we needed a $24 bracket, not $2400 worth of work! (And the symptoms we were experiencing were caused by the actions of this service department, we assume inadvertently.) In another, only the cheapest of the six items listed needed doing - and that one with no urgency. Needless to say, we do not trust the statements of this service department and will not be returning.

I stopped in to get the oil change on my '06 Accord Coupe. Was wondering the lot when Greg came by to see if he could help. I told him what I was looking for (Fit) and he let me know that they couldn't keep them in stock but, took my number and said he would call when they came in. A few days later Greg called. I took one look at the Fit and fell in love! Greg REALLY LISTENED when I explained what I was looking for: great MPG, moonroof, safety features ~ the Fit had it all!! I have never bought a car before so didn't know what to expect. I came in not sure whether I was going to upgrade to a newer model or not. I felt very comfortable with Jeremy Campbell, the sales agent, who was very patient and helpful so I ended up buying a car! The transaction took quite a while and when he found out I was diabetic, he even bought me dinner. When we got done which was late at night, way past his working hours, he didn't rush me out and still offered to help me figure out the settings in my new car. A few days later, I forgot that I did not erase my personal information on the GPS of my trade in car. I called Jeremy and he said that their service team clears those but he offered to remove it himself which gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend buying a car from him (or his colleague Greg Darlow who initially helped me out) at Hillsboro Honda!

I got my 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid from Dick's Honda Hillsboro. It was my third day moving into Hillsboro from Japan not knowing much about how to purchase a car in the states. LOVED Vince's low-key, low-pressure sales approach and he was the 'tipping' point for making our purchase at Dick's in lieu of another dealership. Vince was efficient, pleasant and very accommodating when we requested to take a used Honda we were interested in purchasing to a mechanic for inspection. (Thanks Jeremy for completing the paperwork on Vince's day off!) Overall, staff are very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their workplace. However, we still hate the "dog-and-pony show" with the closer, but guess that's one of the necessary evils of purchasing at a dealership. Paperwork processing was relatively painless and my daughter and I were even invited to their monthly BBQ! She's loves her first car and can't stop smiling. Thanks!

they were all so friendly and asked if anything was needed like something to drink.. they informed us about the car , it's features, price, and were very helpful when it came to the paperwork. it was a little difficult to come to an agreement with the price of the car. definitely coming back if I am ever interested in purchasing a car again. (personally) i love Honda cars and am not interested in buying any other sort of cars. I've purchased four in my 20 years living here in Oregon. but overall I had a good experience at this dealership.

I went in with the intention of moral support, for a friend. Scott Barney was who the appointment was made with, excellent choice I might add. I have been in the buyers seat many times and would consider myself a vet in the car buying world, I have also sold them, and could tell that we were dealing with someone who is a real person and not the typical shark that so many people tend to label those in the car industry. Scott showed a genuine concern for getting my buddy into something that he could work with, and not break the bank, but still something that he would be happy with and not settle for. While his deal was going through I started to get kind of antsy so I told them I was going to step outside to have a smoke, then I saw it the Volvo that my wife was looking for, so I text her a picture and asked if she liked, which I already knew the answer was she loved it. I went in and asked Scott how he felt about selling another car, even though it was late at this point, he was a trooper and said he had no problem with that at all. So he wrote it up and I was done in about forty five minutes. I will be buying and recommending that my friends and family come here to buy their vehicles. Sasha, I believe is the finance director, and what an awesome lady, she was very helpful and honest, and gave very good advise. Hers has got to be a hard job, but you could never tell when talking with her. Sasha was definitely a nice touch to the end of my car deal, very well spoken, and a breath of fresh air. I kept expecting that one thing that would smell of used car sales, but it never came. I just do not think I could be any happier with these two individuals. If I could have given them 100 star rating I would have!!!!!!

The receptionist was so friendly that I was willing to drive from NE all the way to Hillsboro to look at the Honda. Vince and Stewart, and even other members of the sales team were never awkward or dealer-ey, just kind and friendly. I really liked working with Vince, who offered to drive my rental car to the agency so I wouldn't have to drive all the way back to pick up the Honda I bought. I did my preliminary search on the phone, Mary was very nice. She turned me over to Alec. When I first spoke with him on the phone, I could tell that he was young. I cannot even talk to old school, high pressure car salesmen. Alec is different. He is just getting started in the business and I hope guys like him will change how car sales are done. He ended up getting me a fabulous deal without any pressure. He was just like "hey, what can I do for you? ... We can get you the best price you'll get anywhere." I knew exactly which car I wanted, so Alec and his manager, Marvin went over the financing offers, matched what another dealership offered for my trade in and whittled away at the price. I even paid $200 more than i would have at the other dealership because of Alec's sales style!

Greg was a great help. He was not pushy and allowed us time to think, unlike other dealers/salesmen. We can in knowing which car we were interested in and the price we thought was fair. He beat that price and we saved a few bucks in the end. Had one hiccup with one of the tires on the car, but we took the car back and they gave us a new tire. Overall it was a very good experience and I plan on returning back to Dick's Hillsboro Honda, specifically to work with Greg again and get our next vehicle. Thanks Greg!

I was in the market for my first new car, an Accord Hybrid. I was referred to this dealership by a friend, and I was not disappointed. From the moment I called to make the appointment, I was greeted with the perfect mix of casual no-pressure attitude and eager to please me motivation. They found the exact car I wanted down to the color and offered to bring it not just to their dealership (it was at a dealership in Vancouver) but to drive it to my house directly. The price of the car that they started at was less than my (extensive) research showed others in my area paying, especially for a model that was in demand. Any deal they offered verbally was what they gave on paper, and even when a math error was found on the finance sheets, they corrected the error and then some. I got top trade-in for my old car (2000 Jetta), and I've had the car for almost a month and can't stop smiling. Not to mention I have yet to gas up once! almost a month of driving!

We did not go into Hillsboro Honda to purchase a new vehicle, we were going to cancel a extended warrenty on a truck we had,we were paying high interest and Stu showed us that they could lower our interest and save some money, as it turned out we were way better off with a new Honda Ridgeline, Not only did our interest rate get cut in half or more, they saved us 25.00 per month,Our Salesman Greg was awesome, he went out of his way to make our time at Hillsboro Honda comfortable, this was the shortest time we have ever spent at a dealership to purchase a new vehicle. This dealership has some great employees who are not defined by the expected "Shark-like" personality of the typical car guy. However, I would not recommend the dealership without mentioning that the Finance Guys will not be as pleasant of a surprise. They are the traditional sharks.We went in on the Costco Auto Program. Everything was great until the Finance Guys started messing with the $500 credit from Honda Finance and also with the accessory costs. I had been planning to use this dealership as our Service Dept. because we need one for our two Hondas, but after putting up with a NW Accessory package disappearing if we chose the $500 credit, I realized that I had not found my dream dealership where I would take the vehicles for service.Basically, it was a set of all weather car mats. Really guys?

I always thought car people were all sharks until I came here. Usually its the buyer fighting for a low intrest rate for themselves. Not the case here. Ryan and Sausha did an AMAZING JOB getting us great finance rates on used cars. We bought 2 cars on same day and TJ was right by our side along sure we got what we wanted. After seeing numerous "commercials" of this dealership I went to see if I could find the Honda I wanted. After having 5 previous Hondas (purchased in Lewiston, ID) then a Toyota and VW I wanted to return to having a Honda. This dealership and the employees mentioned above were nothing but courteous, professional and treated me very well at all times. After showing me all the models I was possibly interested in, I decided on the CRV and then went on to find the color I desired. We contacted Dick's via thier Internet Sales portal which initially caused a little confusion on the pricing. MIKE STAGER did an outstanding job working through the issues with the sales managers on our behalf. We really can't say enough good things about Mike - he is professional, no pressure, and truly concerned about making sure that his customers leave with a great relationship. The only bump in the process occurred at the very end when we thought everything was all done....the Sales Manager came over for the "close" and informed us that every car comes with etching that would cost an additional $399. Whoa! Not previously discussed. However, he was more than willing to listen to how our deal had been structured with Mike and agreed to the originial terms. This was very satisfactory. Be sure that you are aware of ALL parts of the dealer accessory package. The final part of our transaction was an extremely pleasureable visit with SASHA FLETCHER. She quickly and efficiently handled all the paperwork with the most delightful sense of humor. After sitting in the showroom for 3 hours, she was just what we needed. Sasha did not pressure us into any long term warranty packages but instead carefully explained everything and just let us decide. She's terrific. Finally, we were out the door to our new, beautiful CRV. Mike paired up our cells phones, did and quick orientation and off we went. Thanks Mike and Sasha!

Alec initially offered to give me an "outrageous" proposal for a car I was looking at while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. I drove a car to the home of my co-signer and we decided the offer was a good one. I drove back to the dealership where Greg picked up the review of the offer.Both Alec and Greg were a pleasure to work with and they were very down-to-earth people who wanted me to be very happy with my purchase.Sitting with Sasha for the final step of signing the papers was also as pain-free as it could be. I used USAA buying program to find a car at a price I felt was fair and no negotiations needed. USAA pointed us to Dick's in Hillsboro and another auto dealership in Vancouver. Hillsboro was close to where we live. Miguel welcomed us on the lot and offered a test drive of a car. He didn't pressure us and I felt he was honest and fair. Miguel worked very hard and even stayed late to ensure we got our car the day we wanted it despite being very busy. I would buy another car from Miguel because he makes you feel comfortable and its like working with a friend.I also want to give a kudos to Greg. We arrived early for our appointment with Miguel because I was so excited about getting a new car after driving a 1997CRV for 17+ years. Greg welcomed us and got the paperwork started so Miguel could just start his shift with the ball rolling.Miguel and Greg are OUTSTANDING and the best car salesmen I have had the pleasure to work with.

Although I had not intended to sign a deal unless it matched the special lease deal that Honda offered in Dec., Mike Stager and Marv were politely persistent in offering me alternatives that would satisfy my requirements for a new vehicle. They finally made me an offer that was too good to pass up. Their manner throughout was pleasant there wasn't any sense of pressure, but simply their wishing to satisfy the customer.I later contacted Mike Stager about a service issue, which he was very helpful with.As I was waiting during the service visit, Mike happened to be at the dealership that day, and he took time for a pleasant conversation. I spent most of the day with Miguel looking at what my best option would be for getting a car as I have just recently moved to the area and was in need of transportation to go on some job interviews I had setup. Now I knew the process would be a long one but Miguel made the whole experience just amazing. Having experienced nightmares at other dealerships, I was very reluctant to even contact anyone with my interests. My 17 year old car needed to be replaced. Naomi was my 1st contact over the internet. She hooked me up with TJ and it was an overall joy to purchase my car. Only downside was an employee who evaluated my trade in never returned my keys ( house, office, etc) and after a long afternoon I drove home only to find my key ring was never returned. A year & 1/2 ago, our Durango was totaled by a road-raged driver. We loved our Durango; which we had purchased at Dick's Hillsboro Dodge 10 years prior. Honda ranked #1 with an A+++++++ rating!!! As we were looking for an AWD vehicle with good mileage and performance we started by looking at the CRV. We took a test drive a year ago and truly loved the way it handled, & how comfortable it was. But the research continued for yet another six + months. Then an advertisement on TV announced that Dick's Hillsboro Dodge had increased their family by adopting a Honda dealership. We hit the door running!! We made an appointment and were assigned to meet with Mike Stager. Mike called, introduced himself and made an appointment based on our availability!! What a Concept!! We drove onto the lot and were greeted at the door with a gracious "Hello" & "How Can We Assist You? " This appointment time was at night and they still rolled out the Red Carpet!! We spoke with Mike; were treated to a Coke and our discussion began. Mike was "Extremely Informative", answered all of our questions, and took my husband for a test drive that evening. After the test drive, Mike again reviewed all of the options available to us and we were given the pleasure of meeting "Starvin' Marvin"!! He, too, was delightful to speak with and we found we had a "Prowler" friend in common.( In the past, we had also purchased a Prowler Sports Car from Dick's.This individual was a member of the Prowler Group & had purchased his Prowler from "Starvin Marvin " at Dicks!! ). It was like a Family Reunion!! After closing down the "Show Room"; we left "Proud Owner's of a Stunning Black Honda CRV EXL with Nav!!" Mike was gracious in allowing us to pick up our new "Family Member" a couple of days later; as we had to get the "Bed Room " ready for its new occupant!! What a "WONDERFUL CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE: NO HIGH PRESSURE: ONLY A DELIGHTFUL EVENING SPENT WITH NEW FOUND FRIENDS!!!!" We will Definitely refer all of our family and friends to Dicks Hillsboro Honda when they are looking to buy their next vehicle!! And We Will Definetely be Back; if only to Say Hello!!

I had one of the worst car purchasing expereinces in my 65 years on the planet. I don't know where to start. John Howell, the salesman in a nutshell was horrendous. I bought a used car that had some service issues that John promised in writing to fix. I purchased the car on a Sunday. On Monday John disappeared. I had to work much too hard "on my own" to get someone to help me. I finally got a call back from service at 5:15 PM that Monday informing me they finally got the go ahead from sales to fix the radio free of charge. John was no help at all. Additionally, i discovered a small windshield crack. I informed John about it and he told me I would have to take it up with the General Sales Manager,Lonnie Burt. I left two voice mail messages with Lonnie without a call back from him. It wasn't until I told the receptionist at the dealership that I wanted to exchange my car for a different car (because that was my only post sale option) that Lonnie contacted me and informed me that he would take care of the winshield as well.In summary, my takeaway from this experience was that Dick's Auto Group wants to sell you a vehicle but has extremely poor customer service and follow-through post sale. I feel exhausted from this experience and will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again. On a positive note, just so you know I am not vindictive, their service department was fantastic. They were the only group at Dick's Auto willing to help me. They were courteous and helpful. Their service people were fantastic.

I rate my experience with Mike at this dealership a "top notch," because I phoned from out of state interested in a 2008 Acura TL Type S featured on their pre-owned section of their website and reached a salesman who was unable to be in the office the date I could drive in to inspect the car and Mike reached out to me within 24 hours to organize my visit. On the phone he asked valuable questions that would help him on his end decipher if it was worth the trip; pictures don't say it all you know! Mike followed up a day prior to my travels to reassure me the dealership was excited about my visit. After a professional negotiation, we could not agree upon a price. We agreed to keep in touch in the case the price changed or if the dealership could re-open negotiations. Sure enough, they called not long after and we negotiated a deal in cooperation with Mike's sales colleague Marv right over the phone. I traveled out of state again to Hillsboro to execute the sale; who picked me up in Portland nearby so I did not have 2 cars to contend with? Why Mike Stagers of course! Mike DeSantis in finance drafted my purchase documents and I was done in a snap! I drove home with the car I wanted, the terms I wanted and with a smile on my face because this deal was made with genuinely nice people who thought my satisfaction was #1. I am far away at home now still in disbelief I found the car I wanted; Mike and Marv are 100% responsible. Last but not least, I do have to say Marv reminded me of my most dearest uncle. He was a pleasant comedian and a straight shooter that really knows cars. Just ask him about the original spoked wheels adventure on his collector car! Dick's Auto Group was a joy to buy from. I LOVE MY ACURA GUYS!

The overall experience was good. Spent over 10 hours there to make this deal work. I think people did try to speed up the process, but the process took longer than expected. The sales manager agreed to take my wife and I home. Robbie stayed with us all day to make sure we were taken care of. He then drove us home after the deal was over. Much appreciated.I wlll buy my next car from here for sure.

Since I moved to Oregon, 5 years ago, I've brought my 2001 Honda Accord to Larry Miller Honda for service. I was a little nervous when I heard that the dealership was under new management....would they be pushy, overcharge me, or try to hard sell me on a new car while my current car was in service? I brought my car in with some trepidation. I had an overwhelmingly positive experience!!! Zeb Stern took GREAT care of me and my car. I thought I needed new sway bushings. Turns out I needed a different part - one support was completely worn out. Zeb was empowered to make the choice to honor the quote given to me by previous management. I also needed an oil change and Zeb was able to make it happen in record time during the same visit! While I waited for my car to be serviced, Marv Herr and I had a nice chat about the new hybrid Accord. There was NO HARD SELLING! Marv and I had a fun talk, swapped some stories, and then he left me alone! No pressure - that was cool.I highly recommend the service at Dick's Hillsboro Honda. Thanks Zeb for awesome service.

I had a good experience from the first contact with this dealer through the eventual purchase of a used vehicle they had advertised online. The response to my email was prompt. When I arrived to look at the truck I found it to be exactly as represented in the ad. I was met by a courteous young salesman named TJ who listened to my questions and responded appropriately without undue sales chatter. He asked a few questions to understand what was important to me and then let me make my own decision. We then met with a more experienced person to negotiate and eventually complete a deal. She was very professional in working me through all the annoying details that are required for a loan from my credit union and the DMV, etc. I don't know anyone who would say they really like the process of buying a car, new or used. The best I could hope for is that the staff will give me the facts, explain my options and the purchase process and then respect my choices and my time. The staff at Dick's did that for me.

Every member of the staff that we met was extremely friendly and professional - but most importantly was helpful while not being pushy. They were there to answer questions and show us the various vehicles we were interested in, but did not try to push the sale on us. Ashley provided great information via email before we arrived. Ms Jenny was a great sales rep! Very professional and friendly, but gave us all of the time with the vehicles that we wanted, and when we did decide to buy, gave us all of the time and information we needed to ensure we were happy with our decision. Mgt and support staff were likewise professional and friendly and not pushy (Nick, Dennis) and made the entire deal, paperwork completion and processing easy and painless. I do not particular enjoy the process of buying a new car - but this dealership made the experience very pleasant - and we drove off with a great Honda vehicle! I will definitely go back in a couple years when we are in the market for our other vehicle.
