After my truck broke down again, I knew I did not want to keep putting money into fixing it. My friends told me about Direct Auto. At first I was scared to go to a car lot by myself. However, I'm glad that fear left quickly. I had a great salesman ( Billy). He didn't force cars on me. He asked what I liked and worked with me. I drove off the lot with an old car to someone else and a NEW car for me. What a blessed feeling that was. I'm very pleased with my car and so is my family.

My first two cars were purchased for them. Tyrone Freddie Ryan and the rest of the family were good to me. I plan on going back in the near future for my next car. I advise anyone who wants a great car to visit these guys. Even though the cars are used I had no problems at all with neither one of my cars. I say go direct!!!

I had put in for a finance loan and received a call from Mr Freddy a day or so later on a Tuesday, I attempted to call back later on that afternoon around 1:00, but was told that he was busy with another customer and he'd call be back once he finished. No worries...however, I didn't receive a call back for another 4 days! Now, I'm no sales rep expert, but I'm smart enough to know that if you show interest in purchasing a car a sales rep will HOUND you until they get an answer. But this wasn't the case. When I did get the call back Saturday morning from Mr Freddy, the conversation was pleasant and informative, we discussed what my needs were and where I stood on financing. I'm a stickler when it comes to having a co-signer, I really would prefer NOT to. I feel if this is something that I want then I alone should be responsible for it, and I expressed this to Mr Freddy, which he seemed like he fully understood and respected at the time. That was a mistake on my part. The conversation ended on the idea that he would call me back by the end of the day and let me know where I stood and what my options would be. It started approaching 6:45 pm, I knew that they closed at 7:00, so I started to worry and gave them a call to check on things, when Mr Freddy answered he seems as though he had forgotten all about our hour long conversation earlier. He told me that he had gotten backed up but will give me a call on Monday around 12:00. When Monday came around I had made sure to stay close to my phone so I wouldn't miss the call.....I had gone through my entire work shift without any word from ANYONE! I decided to head over to the dealership (this was about 6:00PM), when I walked in I had sat down and patiently waited until Mr Freddy finished with his current customer. He came over to me a few times to let me know he knew I was there and would be with me soon. When I did finally make it to his desk he had a finance application ready for me to fill out.......now I was a little confused because if I needed to fill out this paperwork AGAIN, why wasn't that stated to me earlier? Red flag #2. After filling out the paperwork for a second time I figured we'd start moving forward, however, SINCE IT WAS LATE, he would need to wait until the next day to submit the paperwork to the bank. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? He took me outside to look at a few cars that he felt would be in my price range, I even put a $100 deposit on a car I liked. He told me that he'd get to work on it and give me a call in the morning with an update. The next morning came and went without a phone call from Mr Freddy (no surprise there), when I called the office around 3:00 to ask what the hold up was, I was told that today was Mr Freddy's day off and he would be back tomorrow....*sigh* At this moment I was fit to be tied, I asked the woman if my file could be handed off to another sales rep. She told me she would and the new sales rep would call back in about an hour. 3 more hours pass and still no phone call, I went down there after my shift around 6:00 and sat with my "new sales rep", who immediately told me that they couldn't do anything for me at this time with their current inventory. I'm honestly surprised at my ability to contain my composure, I wanted to scream my head off. I took my deposit back and left, went straight to Kia Autosport down the street and walked away with a beautiful 2013 Kia Soul WITHIN MY FINANCE PARAMETERS! I read all the awesome reviews with Direct Auto Exchange and expected my experience to be the same but I wasn't. Maybe it would have been if I had been with a more competent sales rep.

I wasn't expecting to ride off that day with the vehicle but you are able to, even with bad credit me and my wife were able to get a GMC Yukon. We had been turned down by a sister company about 3 or 4 times prior and you only took one time at Direct Auto and with the help of its staff and Justin Gibson we were able to trade a car to get a car that we liked because the vehicle we had was no longer usable.

Justin helped me and he was amazing. Going to Direct Auto Exchange gave me independence. Previously I had been riding public transit (Dial a Ride) which I was grateful for but having independence you can't beat that feeling. When I arrived at Direct Auto Exchange I had repo's and poor credit but Justin helped me get started on a new beginning and now I can build positive credit now. My daughter even bought a vehicle from Direct Auto Exchange after she seen how I was treated. We are a Direct Auto Exchange family!

My experience was great! I worked with Ryan and Tyrone and they were so friendly and helpful so much so a year later we came back and bought another vehicle from them. We are now looking for a specific vehicle for our daughter's graduation and they are on the hunt for us!! I would highly recommend them to anyone who does not want to deal with those sales people you can tell are just looking for commision!

I had a great experience with direct auto exchange. I didn't have a car at the time and when I went there, I walked out with keys in my hand. My sales person Freddie was very helpful and nice and answered any questions or concerns I had. The other staff as well were very friendly and helpful.

My mom recommended that I go take a look at their inventory because she had just gotten a car from there. She specifically said that I needed to contact Justin to assist me with finding a car, and that he did! With his friendly and knowledgeable help, I found the perfect car for me! I actually thought I was going to take a look at cars, but instead I drove off in a 2013 Nissan Altima. Thanks Justin!

They have the highest level of service, Upfront prices, very nice and dependable cars, very friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere. Direct Auto exchange was recommended to me by close friend Priscilla. I brought a new 2012 Chrysler 300. The personal service and care that I received was impeccable. I have bought several vehicles from Direct Auto Exchange. The last time I bought one from them I promised I wouldn't be back due to some issues I ad buying my SUV. After receiving numerous letters from Direct Auto Exchange reminding me of monthly maintenance, yearly birthdays and anniversary of buying my vehicle, I decided to go back in and see if things had changed. As a customer for numerous years, I want to let everyone know that I greatly appreciated the way I was treated. The staff at Direct Auto Exchange was very kind and honest with me. They went out of their way to help me resolve the issues. I want to especially thank Justin in Sales and Tyrone the Owner for making this transaction more pleasant than before. My wife and I were searching online and were impressed with Direct Auto Exchange website. So we decided to drive down from Perry, Fl to take a look. Our sales person Ryan Shaw was very helpful, answered all if our questions and was willing to work with us. We did purchase a 2013 Nissan Altima and would recommend anyone to Direct Auto Exchange. My neighbor told me about the excellent service at Direct Auto Exchange so, I went and test drove a 1-owner 2006 Grand Marquis. They got me approved with my credit union that I have banked with for many years, with no money down and a payment I can afford. Very pleased with their service and prices and would recommend anyone to them.

I would not buy a car from this dealer ever again. I purchased a car from here last year and thy convinced me it was a good car because it was a Nissan. I have had to replace the Transmission, CV axle, Air Compressor and the radio blew up in the car. They claim to certify and dtand behind their cars but you would be better off going to an auction and buying a car and fixing it up! Don't deal with these people.

I would like to recommend anyone who is in the market and is looking to purchase a quality vehicle to come to Direct Auto Exchange. Their customer service were great and they got me in and out in no time. They helped me to accomplish a comfortable payment with my credit not being the best with no cash out of pocket with just my trade in. I feel they were fair on price and what they gave for my trade in. What i really liked the most about them was, I spoke to Justin over the phone and explained my credit situation which he stilled asked that i'd come into the dealership so that he could help me. Also during that conversation he said that his goal was to try and get me into the vehicle of my choice and that he would assure me that his supervisor Tyrone would also help him to accomplish that. Overall I am a very pleased with the customer service. I got the vehicle of my dreams which was a 2011 Nissan Maxima, again i would advice anyone to go see those guys they are awesome!

I did a finance app online for this dealership and received a call from the receptionist. She spoke with me, verified my financial information that I entered online, asked what I was looking for, how much I wanted to spend, how much I had for a down payment, etc. I also explained to her that I was just discharged from bankrutcy and she stated that wouldn't be a problem because, "We work with ALL credit types." I thought, Great! I make an appointment for a couple days later to swing by there and meet with someone by the name of Tyrone. My appointment was scheduled for 6:15pm on a Friday. I get there and was told that Tyrone would be with me shortly. 45 minutes later I'm still waiting. Finally another sales guy approaches me and asks me to come with him. We have a seat at his desk and he tells me, "We didn't even run your credit because with your bankruptcy being so recent I doubt we will be able to get you financed. Are you able to put down an extra $500?" I was thrown for a loop. So you can't get me financed because my bankruptcy is too recent but can I put down an extra $500? None of what he was saying made sense so what I took away from the experience was they were full of crap! If they needed me to put down more money that should of been stated up front, no biggie, but to tell me you can't get me financed and then ask for more down made me wonder. Another thing that pissed me off was they made me sit and wait for 45 minutes to tell me this instead of calling me back after all my info was verified and I still have not met Tyrone. If you're looking to buy a car go anywhere but here. SERIOUSLY!

I worked with this dealership for 2 1/2 weeks & it was the worst experience I've had towards purchasing a car. They were very unprofessional. My personal information was confused with another customer's information which led to me being given over 5 different deals for the same car. When in the office, I was shelved as I sat & watched other customers, who had arrived after me, being treated with the service I deserved. I requested to speak with the business manager & was put on hold for upwards of 10 mins, hung up on, & told lies in order to get me off the phone. Numerous times I was told the office manager was pissed or too overwhelmed with other customers to deal with me. Again, this was the worst car buying experience ever. I wouldn't recommend them if they were the last dealership in Tallahassee. If they have a vehicle you like, find it somwhere else to save yourself the hassle, aggravation, time of your life wasted, & unprofessionalism that this dealership seems to specialize in.

The experience with direct auto was awesome from the time I stepped on the lot to the time I drove off with my vehicle of choice. The staff was courteous and kept me informed of the process. Justin and Tyrone was straight forward concerning my credit and was willing to do all possible to make my deal possible. Great job!
