I really enjoyed the experience we had at Dolan Mazda. Ben was so responsive to what we were looking for in a car. He also knew my time was very limited in being able to look and test drive. Additionally, being out of town, he, Cody and Grace in financing made sure everything could be done over the phone or Zoom. And, they even had the car delivered to our home 2 and a half hours away. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another vehicle from them.

Well service was great considering there was only one person attending to everyone. Vanessa was great. However, what they say they do may not be accurate. I informed them at check in that my coolant was low and they “green checked “ they checked everything. No way. My low water light is still on. See pic All I got was 100 dollar oil change

Dolan is a awesome place to buy a car. They don't get commission so you don't feel like you are surrounded by sharks. They helped us look for the perfect car, we found it and that was basically it. They brought the cars to us. The finance department had great people who found us a bank that gave us a unbelievable rate. They were working on Financing while Dan Wagner was helping us find the perfect car. They are a group of hard working people and all they care about is you AND they are honest and organized. My husband and I recently bought a brand new 2016 Kia Sorento from the guys at Dolan Reno Kia and the experience far exceeded our expectations! We were first greeted by Levi and his no pressure, calm, fun attitude is what really helped us decide to move forward with purchasing a vehicle through the Dolan Kia group. We had just started the process of looking for our next family vehicle and when we explained to Levi what we were looking for, he didn't stop until he helped find us the perfect fit. He respected that we had done research and that we weren't going to settle on the first car we test drove (and we test drove quite a few ;-) ). There was no pressure put on us to immediately buy and that really helped finalize our decision.When we finally decided on the Kia Sorento, the entire process from start to end with the Reno Kia team was truly wonderful. Vinnie piazza is the first salesman EVER that listened to us about our budget! No high pressure! Travis May the financial guy kept crunching numbers till we were happy!!!! Also,unheard of! The best part for me is that christian Arias sat with me (in the vehicle) and helped me hook up my phone for bluetooth and explained all the controls in the car and even programmed my favorite radio stations!!! Most people just hand you a giagantic manuel and you never get around to reading it. This was my very favorite part of going to this dealership!!!!

My wife and I traded a 2010 Kia Soul in for a new 2015. The experience was fun, even relaxing and very entertaining! Want to thank Kevin Denning for introducing us to Dan Wagner who did a very professional and informative "chat" with us describing all of the advantages of the new model...no pressure and plenty of room for discussion. The "Enforcer" (you know who you are) was very unintimidating and pleasantly encouraging. He and Dan both connected with a world of knowledge plus wonderful sense of humor. Mathew Ellison, the finance manager, translated all of the numbers written down with an oratory we could actually understand along with giving us absolute answers to absolute questions. He also saved us some $$. This exchange was enhanced with smiles and a great attitude. We also don't want to forget Christian, a very intelligent and charming young man who showed us how to push all the right buttons and even turn on and off the radio! Thank you all....professional +.....enjoyed the time with you and we will certainly enjoy the new Kia Soul!

Started looking back in November for a new car on their website. Found exactly what I was looking for- a beautiful Mazda3 i Touring- and started working with Cinthia Felix. .. She was AMAZING! She went WAY above and beyond. With me being 250 miles away I was prepared for a horrible lengthy back and forth experience but thanks to her excellent communication and planning the actual car I wanted was waiting for me with an experienced salesman - Giovanni - at the front door with a smile and a handshake... ON A SATURDAY! Everything was perfect. No surprises with pricing or financing which was awesome considering my credit challenges. Which brings me to Matt in finance. This guy is a true asset to the Dolan team. He was swamped as it was a Saturday & he was the only one working on contracts... I was in & out with a better rate and smaller monthly & down payment than we had settled on before I made the trip with my sister in law- who decided to buy a very nice Kia SUV after seeing how easy & professional these guys were to deal with. It's obvious that these people love what they do & they do it better than any I've dealt with in the past. Giovanni followed up with us on several occasions after the sale to make sure we were happy, and Cinthia did the same. I needed some help today- 5 months later- and Cinthia actually remembered me by name! Between her & Matt they saved me a 500 mile round trip over some service contract issues that were really not even their concern and had nothing to do with Dolan Mazda. I can't say enough good about these people honestly. They didn't have to go so far out of their way to help but they were happy to do it and that's why I felt the need to write this lengthy but honest review. Because of these 3 people I will be a customer for life and recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks again guys!Rebel & Family

Was given three free oil changes when I purchased a used car. Went to get the last oil change and was told it was expired. Really! Supposed to get three oil changes in one year!? Could have told me on the phone when I made the appointment. Waited till I drove all the way out there to tell me it was expired!? Wasted my time and gas. Classic bait and switch.

Kia is a horrible place to get your car fixed, they have had my car for over two weeks and there's been no progress on it. They told me it would be done in one week and still no car. Every time I call to see what's even going on with the car they never have an answer all they can tell me is they will call me back then never call. So when I call them they make it seem like I'm bothering them. They have horrible customer service and the second I get my car back If I ever do I will NEVER EVER take it there again!!!

They bought a car from me on Saturday,February 21st. Alfonso Seoana promised me they would pay off my loan and I would have my check on Monday, February 23rd. Monday came and went (no check), Tuesday they were not returning my calls. They took their time paying off the loan. Now they say I can't get the money they owe me, until they get the title from the bank. I checked with my bank and they are going to send out the title on March 12th (hopefully). That will be over 3 weeks before I get the money they owe me. I have no car and no money to buy another car. The sad thing is my wife and I left the dealership feeling pretty good about this place. But that opinion went screaming down hill after we found out all they did was lie and make excuse after excuse. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I was recommended to purchase a used car from the Dolan Auto Group and to work with Dan Wagner. I had initially called Dan to cover my options and he was very professional and courteous on the phone. He took my information and called me back within minutes to give me my price range and the best for me. I went to the dealership the next morning and was greeted by Dan almost immediately and he had already picked out a car that he thought I would like. I immediately knew this was the car for me because he picked something out that I told him I wanted for my kids and I. Dan was patient with me and made sure he was helping me the entire way. Alfonso worked very hard with the financing company to get me approved because I do not have the best credit and he was on the phone until he could get a firm approval. Once approved, David was very friendly and got me quickly through my paperwork. This team of professionals went above and beyond my expectations every step of the way! I will always come back to this dealership for any of my future car buying needs! Thank you!

My husband and I traded in a car that we were upside down in and another car. Ryan Dolan, Jose Aispuro, Ali Bisharat and Brian Kelleher really took care of us and made the experience very enjoyable. I nearly bought a used Audi from Dolan Toyota. I test drove the car on my lunch and told the sales guy I would be back at 3:30 with my husband. In the meantime my husband told me my dream car was at Kia (I have been looking at the Optima for about a year) But I insisted he look at the Audi. I was there at 3:30 sharp, no sales guy. We stood around for 28 minutes and I told my husband I want to go, this didn't feel right. Another sales man said he would help us and what car were we looking at. I told him, and he said he would get the car. I told him I don't need to see the car, just wanted to talk numbers, but he insisted on getting the car. I left, annoyed, and went right to Kia. Giovanni came right up to me, he was sweet and pleasant, and very helpful. I told him what I was there for and he went and got the car, and I left there a couple of hours later. I have never been at such peace with such a huge purchase, I love driving my new Optima Turbo limited! Thank you Giovanni and the staff at Kia for making this happen for me, I really appreciate it!

Our experience was great. 20 times better than the experience we had buy our first car from champion chevrolet. Geo, the salesman that helped us at Dolan Mazda Kia was super friendly and was putting no pressure on us and answered all of our questions. That was one of the main reasons we even bought the car, the kindness of him and most of the staff. 5 star dealer in my opinion.

My husband and I went to Dolan to test drive a Kia Optima. We told the Sales Guy Jose that we were not ready to purchase a vehicle until we found just the right one and most important one that fits our budget. He showed us a very nicely equipped Kia (just what we were looking for). He was not pushy at all and very knowledgeable. He worked very hard to get us the payments that we wanted and we drove away with our car that evening. Everyone there was super nice and I would highly recommend Dolan to anybody looking for a car (new or used).

My wife and I are from overseas and live in SLT for 4 to 5 months a year. We needed a 4WD car for uncertain conditions and were having difficulties finding a vehicle that fitted our criteria and budget. After visiting a number of dealerships and having our enquiries summarily dismissed by salesmen who realised that they were going to have work for a sale we were not keen to subject ourselves to another time wasting session. Out of frustration and a little desparation we drove into Dolan Kia and were greeted courteously and respectfully by Geo. We were then introduced to Robin Greer who spent some time searching their inventory (and others) in order to find what we were searching for. After extensive consultation between various members of the Dolan team we arrived at an agreeable price for a vehicle that suited us. David Ellison was extremely patient in completing the paper work which had a number of conditions attached. We are generally not keen to deal with car yards but the personnel at Dolan Kia in Reno were all professional and accommodating. An overall surprisingly pleasant experience. We would happily and confidently recommend this group to prospective purchasers.

My mother and I were looking at Mazdas this past Sunday 1/25/15. We were helped initially by Travis May who was very helpful, though we worked closely with Duane Ball, who was just great, and purchased a car from him that afternoon. Over the years that I have lived in Reno, I generally have ended up purchasing my cars in the Sacramento or Auburn area of California. I just never find the dealers in Reno all that accommodating. My recent experience at Dolan Mazda has changed all of that. The sales staff, the finance guys, and everyone else there was great to work with. It all started with Robin Greer. She was very helpful and very professional throughout. An honorable mention goes to Travis May and also David in finance. I highly recommend that you give them a shot at your business - I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I bought my car last year. Been in for service twice. Best dealership to work with, second to none!!Everyone was great. It took me some time to decide on this purchase and I was never rushed. I was allowed to shop and compare and was never pressured to make a decision. I have dely with dealerships in a number of states and I have yet to find anyone better. and after the sale they are amazing. They are always asking if the car is ok and if we are still happy, and the service department is wonderful. We are never kept waiting around our car is ready when they say it will be ready. I see some reviews that do not speak kindly about Reno Kia I can only say that these people were grumpy or just could not be pleased by anyone. If you think you had a bad experiance at this dealership, It was definatlly your fault!! I recomend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. They wont find better people to work with anywhere. I wish they sold Trucks.

It is clear that D O L A N S' business model is a strong marketing campaign to advertise how wonderful they are, to bring consumers in for business. However, when the consumer, as in my case, comes to their property hoping perhaps to become part of the family as they advertise, I found the family to be dishonest for greed. Its not about vehicles at Dolan, its about how they can deceive you with Little lies to take advantage of your hard earned money.To add credibility to my evaluation, go in there and ask what those pink forms are for in the sales office, you know, the ones to help them from selling a vehicle and then documenting the wrong VIN number. Now is that a salesperson mistake or an issue of lazy management?Or ask them about the "extended warranty" for the vehicles computer, which turns out to not be an extended warranty, but a service plan where you have to pay a deductible.Or ask to sign up for the Premier maintenance plan which is more expensive than paying for your maintenance as you go. Turns out Premier is legally the name of the company sponsoring your maintenance you pay for, not the type of maintenance you get. In other words, Premier is the name of the company you pay for 5 years of maintenance upfront. What you get is only oil changes and tire rotations. Nothing else for 5 years. You pay extra money on top of this plan for air filters, etc. The only thing Premier about the maintenance plan is their bank account.Or even better, go express a concern to Mr. D O L A N., you know the GM. Observe him surfing his cell phone while you express your concern to him. Must have been nice to be born with daddy putting a silver spoon in his mouth. Every time I see D O L A N S commercial, I think to myself... hey that's false advertisement, cause in real life he doesn't talk to you, he surfs on his phone.Or go in there talk to a sales rep about buying a vehicle, likes Travis, then tell him that you are going to go and shop around. See how quickly Travis will call you while you are shopping around. He will call you fast which is good and appropriate. But after you buy a vehicle from Travis and call and have a question about your vehicles' modern technology, see how fast he will call you back then. In my case never, after leaving him specifically a voicemail. So they have a different standard calling you before you buy a vehicle than after you buy a vehicle.Or call and talk to the secretary and get a complete run around of voicemail, that person is not there, etc.Or go buy a vehicle there and observe how well Steve the maintenance manger coordinates with the sales office.You see, when any business only cares about getting your money, this is what consumers get. What they fail to understand is honesty and competence will gain the business more profit over the long haul.

Prior to going to the dealership, I received a phone call from Geovani Thompson, a salesperson working at dealership. He told me that there were some good deals to be had. We discussed what type of deals, and I told him that I would be at the dealership tomorrow morning. He asked if we could meet while I was there and I told him that would be OK.I met Geovani and he presented himself well. First impression was excellent, so I asked him about the deals he had mentioned. Before long, he was showing me and my wife some certified pre-owned cars on the lot. Within 15 minutes we were inside the dealership discussing purchasing one of the cars.Geovani explained the procedures in regards to purchasing the car. He was very professional and knowledgable and explained fully the intracacies and workings of the vehicle. He easily answered any question we had.Bottom line, Geovani represented the dealership very well. first Mr Kameron Konold make me signed two different contract, whit two different monthly payment and two totally different APR%, not only that i signed and finish all the paper on the car of the night of 12-26-14, and notice the remote are missing so i have to go back let Hubert little know is missing, so I drove the car on the night of 12-26-14 with full tank of gas and the mileage is 36,979, i only take the car home in sparks and back to dolan kia for the remote, after five day waiting on the day of 12-31-14 i got the car back remote alarm fix but the car is been use, the mileage is 37,043 after five day, thank you Mr hubert little for the best deal, the car are dirty and you guys put the best extra miles, hopefully people and stay away in dolan auto groups. first time to buy here and never again!!!!

Because I lease and change vehicles every 3 years or so I have been to many, if not most all of the dealerships in town at one time or another. That said, there is only one other dealership out of them all that I have done business with that made the transaction so easy and seamless and set the bar extremely high. I honestly would not have thought that another dealership and sales team could have met this standard, much less raised the bar.I stand corrected as Dan managed to do this with ease and raise the bar even higher with my transition from a 2012 Kia to a 2014. I don't think I could have had a better experience had I planned it out myself.- extremely fast email communication, accurate and to the point- above and beyond in every way possible (email & in person)- made sure everything was taken care of on 'my schedule' vs. what was 'easy'- checked-in throughout the finance portion to verify all remained in-line/as agreed- everything was 100% accurate; all t's crossed and i's dotted throughout- made sure I was given a ride back to work and made it a point to let me know the minute car was ready to take delivery on (over 2 hours sooner than promised. It was not a slow day at the dealership on this day so that was not the reason for the fast turn-a-round)- verified I knew & understood all of the equipment & features between the 12' and 14'- hung around into the evening so I could take delivery of the car and continued to stay through getting service setup for my first oil change- introduction and communication between myself and the rest of the staff as needed so I never felt as though "the deal was done, vehicle specialist disappeared"- kept other customers updated and let them know they were still a top priority. Juggled each customer individually (not an easy thing to do) yet made each of us feel as though we were the only person in the dealership and that our time was both respected and of value- ....sure there are many moreFor Dan, this may simply be 'what he does' and it comes natural - that is great! I believe that customer support and service is a major key to success in any business and we are losing it in many ways throughout all industries both internally and externally in organizations big and small. Dan has proven otherwise and I can only hope that his dedication is recognized and becomes infectious throughout the Dolan Auto Group as well as in and outside of other industry and businesses!In closing; again, I very much appreciate all of the time and effort Dan put into my deal and I hope that his efforts and dedication to customers is recognized throughout the Dolan Auto Group.I look forward to doing business again in the future!

The wife and I shopped around the Reno area for a 4 cylinder SUV. After test driving a RAV 4, Rouge, and Honda CRV, we rolled onto the Mazda lot. The misses didn't really want to look at Mazda, but I insisted. We were greeted quickly by a nice young man named Jose, and his boss Alfonso. We were asked what we were looking for, and were shown a VERY nice Gray Mazda CX 5 Grand Touring with all the bells and whistles. The car is for my wife, so she drove on the test drive. Jose guided us out to a side road and away we went. The test drive took us on a beautiful country road with great corners and some good straightaways. The wife was all smiles. Of the 4 test drives, Mazda smoked the other makes. We left the car there and came home to discuss all pros and cons of the cars. Easy decision.... MAZDA. We came back 4 days later and Jose pulled a brand new one (6 miles) off the back of the lot. After haggling with them over price, and signing the mountains of paperwork, we now own the car of our dreams. Ask for Jose, he is a good kid, and strives to deliver top notch service.

Just purchased my first car from this dealership!! Being a first time car buyer Dan Wagner was very accommodating, and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. At no point through our interactions did he portray the stereotype of a "car salesman". The first reason I decided on this dealership is because my wife bought her first car here and whenever we bring her car in to be serviced the service department goes above and beyond. The service department does a great job of walking you through what needs to be serviced, what it will do for the car, and then they are additionally accommodating by suggesting the things that absolutely need to be serviced at that particular time and what things can wait until the next service in case you are trying to stay on a certain budget. The second reason for coming to this dealership is they have an amazing selection of pre-owned vehicles with very fair pricing. I researched used cars and dealerships around the Reno/Carson City Area and this dealership had the best prices on used vehicles around. My experience with everyone on the Dolan Mazda Kia team was exceptional and the next time I'm in the market for a car I will be going back here. Whether you're looking for a new or used vehicle I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the Northern Nevada Area.

So you've all heard those stories where you go to buy a new car and totally get screwed over and get a car you can't afford or is a piece of junk. Well my experience was nothing like that. I have never bought a brand new car so I was a little nervous going in and test driving, again heard those horrible stories. I knew I had to go find a new car due to my car getting older and having a lot of miles. I had test drove a cx5 last January but I wasn't serious at the time and didn't really like that there wasn't much power (2.0 liter). My boyfriend is a Mazda fan all the way and talked me into going and test driving the 2.5 liter cx 5. When we got to the dealership Sal greeted us promptly and asked if we needed any help or had any questions. He then took us out for the test drive. I wasn't planning on purchasing a car that day but as soon as I got in the car I felt at home it. The car handled great, had enough power and got great gas mileage. When we got back to the dealership Sal handed us off to Robin (still not sure why this happened exactly) but she took me in the back and we found a peral white fully loaded 2015 cx5! Then the team of Hubert, Robin, and some other people started running the numbers. Because I am a first time buyer I listened and decided I needed to go home and talk to my parents. Hubert told me to drive the car home and show them and come back in the morning and we would discuss everything further. I explained that I needed my monthly payment at a certain amount and they worked with me so that I was able to get everything I wanted. Instead of feeling screwed over and regretting what I had done I now have a beautiful car sitting in my driveway!!! Hubert treated me with respect and took care of all the needs to make this sale final! I now have a dealership that I will refer friends, family, and continue to buy from for years to come. Thank you all for your hardwork, dedication, and care that you put into helping me buy my first car!

I bought a 2011 Mazda 6 in December 2011. It now has 30,913 miles on it. It has been in the shop four times for bad brakes. The third time it was in the service rep said it was a known problem and the brake pads would be replaced AFTER THE THIRD COMPLAINT. They supposedly changed the brake pads at 22,500 miles. The brakes once again failed at 30,600 miles. When I spoke to the service agent this morning he first tried to charge me $500 for new pads and rotors. After I explained this was a Mazda problem, not mine, he said the brake pads had never been replaced. They are replacing the brakes for free but wanted to charge $586.00 for the 30,000 mile service which, by there own estimate is basically an oil change and cabin and engine filter change. RUN FROM THESE GUYS!!!! I had a Toyota for 80,000 miles and changed the oil and the tires. Dan Wagner did have the guts to get me to buy a new Mazda when I dropped the car off for service yesterday. He gets Kudos for trying to sell to a disgruntled customer.

They don't return phone calls, don't finish their work on time and don't come through on promises they make when you buy a car from them. Any dealer incentives they entice you with to continue to get you to spend money with them after the sale are not worth it. I'm never buying from ANY Dolan dealership again

We bought a used car from here a year ago. Perfectly happy made all of our payments on time. Dealership called us last month and said come in we will refinance your car and get you a better interest rate. We said OK. We went in did paperwork with salesman Eric. We told him information he modified it in his handwriting to make it all look better. Our car payment was due the next day I was going to pay it online. They said don"t pay it give us $400 and we will take care of it. They could only get a slightly lower rate for us but had another bank that was going to call back. We were going to leave and try another time. Sales manager Hubert came in and said keep your $400 let us do this for you even if its only a little lower rate this will be good for your credit. We agreed. Went and sat down with Kameron the finance guy he said great news we got an even lower rate everything is wonderful. Great we started signing papers then he said we need $400. We said but Hubert said and back and forth. It was a good rate we gave him $400. Almost done signing papers and Kameron pushed the wrong button on his computer lost everything saved. He said don't worry i have everything I will redo and get this to you tomorrow. Oh and I need a copy of proof of your income. I went home and sent it to him. The next day he wanted my husbands proof of income and a copy of my divorce papers showing my child support. I sent these immediately. I asked about my car payment and was told don't pay it they would be paying it off. Five days later they call and want proof of hire date from husbands work because the timeline doesn't work because of salesman Eric changing info to look better. We get them a year to date statement from employer. Another week goes by and now we have a late fee due for car payment and they are still working on it. After another week they don't like the statement from employer and want another one. We call and talk to Brian. We are done at this point our good credit messed up and another car payment coming due. Brian said please let me try and fix this give me until tomorrow. We said ok. The next day we wait and wait for a call back finally called to talk to Brian and oh he is not working today we are told. Great. So today out of the blue Kameron sends me a text "still have not heard from bank". I am going to get my $400 and money for my late fee and will never go back to this dealership again. It is too bad this had been the second vehicle from Tom Dolan Auto Group I have purchased and now will tell everyone I know of my bad experience. Just want to say thanks for nothing but the ding on my credit.

The only reason I scored this dealership a 1 is because there is not an option for zero. I visited this dealership and decided on a new Mazda after a test drive and lots of research myself. I left all my information with the salesman and he said he would call me with a price and find the car in the color I wanted. The next day I heard nothing. The following day I left three messages stating I wanted the car, had the money, and would like to make the purchase. Still no return call. I finally called another salesman and he told me my original salesman was too busy. Too busy doing what? I thought the goal for them was to sell cars. Even after that it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to call me back or spend a few minutes with me on the phone without making me feel like a nuisance.I had filled out an online quote request and initially figured all the calls would be a waste of time. I was very wrong. It seems every other dealership was more than willing to discuss the car. I ended up buying the car in Californa from an incredibly professional and friendly dealership that actually made me feel like they wanted my business. The salesman even called me three times on his day off to let me know the status of the car. On top of all this, they beat Reno's price by $700 and extended the manufacturer warranty to 10 years and 100,000 miles. I cannot explain the frustration with Reno's dealership. I guess they are the only one in town so they figure customer service can suck. How pathetic for someone to walk onto their lot wanting to buy a car and being driven to buy it elsewhere.I just wish I would have read these reviews before I went there and would have known what to expect. I would name the salesmen I worked with, but when customer service is this bad it obviously comes from the top down. From all the continueing negative reviews I guess Tom Dolan doesn't waste his time reading these either. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

I have been dreading buying a car because of all the bad experiences in the past with high pressured sales people that treat you like you are an idiot. So, I started my search on the internet this time, searching for a car that I would really want and giving me the chance to look at many different types of cars. About 3 months ago, after searching the internet, I was contacted by Kymberly Platt. She kept contact periodically to see if I had found anything yet. I let her know that I was interested in the Kia Soul. About a week ago, Lexi Brecke contacted me to follow up and I finally made an appointment to test drive the Kia Soul. She was so nice! She sent me over to Lexus of Reno to meet with Kymberly. Kymberly drove me over to another Dolan dealership to find the car I wanted. we went to Reno Mazda/Kia dealership. She introduced me to Michael Cochran. He took my sister and I on a test drive and I was sold!!! What a fun car to drive! This was the most wonderful car buying experience that I have ever had. I was driving my new car home about an hour later. Michael was GREAT!!! I received the best customer service from my internet contacts all the way over to my salesman! I would recommend this dealership and Michael Cochran, I recommend Kymberly Platt (Lexus of Reno) and Lexi Brecke at Reno Toyota!!! Best experience of my life while buying a car and the good news...I got exactly what I wanted. I can't say enough about this dealership and these 3 people. I was also very happy with the low car payment!! If you want a good car buying experience with excellent off the chart customer service, go see them! You will be glad you did!

I was extremely pleased with my car buying experience at Kia, the staff (while persistent) was pleasant and informative. It was cold out, I hadn't eaten all day and so after test driving 3 vehicles, I walked off the lot while they were running the numbers. Car shopping is stressful as it is but add cold and hunger to the mix..well not a good thing. The staff was understanding (even offered to order food for me while i waited)and smiled even as i was walking away. I assume most people dont come back after they've walked off and I'm not so sure i would have either had I not received a call back from JJ & Erick. I guess persistence does pay off! I went back, bought the car I wanted at the price I wanted thanks to JJ's magic and the persistent & knowledgeable staff at Reno Mazda Kia. Great experience!

DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! I can put up with a lot but after purchasing my brand new car, I needed a ride to drop off my rental car. I needed to stop for gas before dropping off the car because everyone knows you cannot return an empty rental. The sales person had a fit and told me he wouldn't allow me to do that! He then proceeded to be incredibly rude. I regretted buying the car from them the moment I drove off the lot. The sales manager called me to apologize and offered me $100.00 towards an accessory. I NEVER GOT THE PROMISED $100.00. Apparently, the sales manager who offered me the money left and they have no record of it. I called back to ask about looking further into their promise. The man who answered the phone sounded very uneducated and trashy. He was so inconsiderate. He put me on hold and didn't even get the manager as I had requested. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!

Horrible customer service. The finance manager, Bobby Young, makes promises to contact customers and then refuses to respond to or take calls. The salesman, Erick Catu, asks questions but doesn't listen to the answers and then asks the same questions over and over again. He doesn't understand the financing aspect of the deals and trys to tell the customer otherwise.This facility is the prime example of the sleazy auto salesmen! Stay away!!!!

Terrible customer service! I do not recommend dealing with this, or any of Tom Dolan's car lots. Paper work was not finalized at the time of my purchase, and still has not been 4 weeks later. The pay-off on my trade-in has yet to be made, and remember it has been over four weeks now! My 30 day plate will be expiring shortly and I have yet to receive the dealers report of sale needed in order for me to register it. So all in all do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This car buying experience was my first and sure to be the worst ever. I had 10 grand to put down towards a car, and had the exact model, features, color that I wanted all ahead of time with my research done on the car. I went in and signed on a price I thought was good, according to Edmunds, and gave them my $500 deposit. They said they would order the car for me. After a couple weeks, I called, nothing had been done. They also started changing their story on whether or not I would get the price we agreed on and also the financing! A couple more weeks passed and they still didn't order the car and then kept trying to get me in a different car. The 0% financing was about to end, so I did some research on other dealerships around Reno. Found one outside Oakland, Diablo Mazda with the exact car I wanted. I called for internet sales, within 15 min, we agreed on a price, he emailed me a confirmation of what we agreed on. I flew out the next day, put down the 10grand, signed a 0% loan, and drove the car home all within 3 hours. The dealership in Reno is a complete joke, they missed out on what should've been the easiest sale ever. I also ended up saving an extra $2000 by going to the Diablo dealership! They do not have any of the BS dealer fees that exist in Reno for some reason. Avoid Reno Mazda.

I was transffered to the Internet director named *Nate Tenney* who answered a number of questions I had. He then had one of his Internet Salespeople return my call and introduce themself.(Alfonso was very polite) All in all my experience with Nate and his internet staff was tremendous, although the end result didnt yield a purchase, I would definately recommend this dealership in the future. I have given this rating because Basically, this dealership has given us the worst auto purchasing related experience in our lives. My wife was trying to trade in one of the cars and at the beginning everything was ok, they even bought us Frosty's from Wendys Anyway, we went over the details and payment information and had the finance guy try to sell us and insult us while he was doing It, an additional warranty even though the car already had one on it. and other than that, all was well. The next day they call and ask if my wife could bring in her proof of income, so she did. And so for about two weeks everything was ok. Then we get a letter and a call saying that we would need a co-signer if we wanted to keep the lower rate. The co-signer thing wasn't going to happen so I called and told them and they said that I would need to bring the car back and I did. I had to wait about an hour for them to get me back my trade and when I got it back home, I noticed that there was some things missing, including my license plates, cup holder insert and headlight covers. All of these items were in the car when I gave it to them as a trade, but for some reason, when I got it back they were missing. Along with a Cigarette lighter. So I spent 3 weeks calling and leaving messages and not having phone calls returned. I eventually got back one plate, but it wasn't the one with the registration sticker on it! I was told by a family member that they once traded in a car and somehow discovered that an employee at the dealership was using their old plates on his car. I had just paid the registration on the trade in April, So I got really mad and called for a manager 3 times in one week. The kicker is that the third time some moron from reno KIA called me and was trying to be all nice and asked me "so I hear you are in the market for a new KIA" I was so mad when I heard this, I let it all out on this guy and the next day I get a call from this useless guy named Greg and he says he will call me tomorrow at 10am. We'll see... even if this works out, PLEASE DO NOT SHOP OR BUY FROM RENO MAZDA-KIA. save yourself the headaches and being lied to.

Sales manager lied to us about credit check process. We went in pre-approved for a loan with our credit union. We did not want to pursue other financing. They kept insisting that they could get a better rate for us, and I said, that's ok, I don't want a bunch of credit checks noted on my credit report. He insisted that they were "soft" looks and that it wouldn't affect my rating. I finally (stupid me) agreed to let them at least try to find us a better rate. Guess what? A week later I checked my credit rating and there were over a dozen "hard" looks at my credit history, and my FICA score dropped 20 points! This can't be disputed or "explained away." They lied to our faces about it. Period. When we finally did get the financing issue settled, we got the paperwork signed. We bought the extended warranty because the mileage on the vehicle was 75K+. We probably wouldn't have bought a high mileage car without thinking we had a warranty. Next, it took 4 tries to get a crack in the windshield fixed that was incl w/sale of car. I kept making appts, and the guy would either not be there or tell me he didn't have time to fix it. Next: they sold us an invalid extended service agreement. We found out only when trying to make a claim. Several months go by, and we have an issue that needs fixed, so we took it into them to have it inspected and fixed, per our warranty instructions. After having the car for several days, they end up telling us that they can't find what's wrong, but they agree something is wrong, and to just "keep driving it until it gets worse." WHAT! But of course they still charged us for the inspection. About 2 weeks later, we get a letter in the mail from them that the warranty plan we bought is not valid for cars over 60,000 miles, so it is no longer valid. Why would they sell it to us in the first place, then!! So now we have to go back in again and get this straightened out. Every step of the way has been nothing but frustration. I will do everything in my power to warn anyone I can not to do business with these guys. They are exactly why dealerships get a bad reputation. I have bought cars at several other dealerships in Reno, and I pretty much never even talk to them again once the papers are signed. This has been a nightmare!!!

after writting two checks to cover our down payment of 1500 and giving them 100 dollars cash. they had promised not to cash either check for 30 days. the first one for 500 not to be cashed till feb 26 2 weeks away. well 3 days after leaving the dealership our bank informs us that we had bounced a check for 500 and now owe the band 30 dollars. after hearing of this i called the dealer ship but everyone was busy. i left my number and still haven't hear from the salesman or the finance guy. i.ve called repeatedly but no replies. we even have copies of the checks and the statement that checks would not be cashed before said date. i'm almost ready to just drive over leave the car and tell them to kiss my ass.

I recently traded in my car for the new Kia Borrego since it had three row seating. These guys told me everything I wanted to hear including that they would use my company for some of their marketing solutions, and this came from the owner himself "Terry". Feeling excited about the deal and a firm handshake from the GM and Terry the owner I purchased the car. The next day I left a message for their finance guy as well as a message for the sales men. Three days go by and not a single return call so finally I stopped by and they said they had papers for me to sign so I told the GM and the Assistant GM "Lou" that I thought it was extremely unprofessional that no one would return my and that I was reluctant to purchase the vehicle if this was the type of service I could come to expect from their dealership. The GM got pissed and started a debate with me and then stormed off. I told them I wanted my 2005 Audi A6 back and the deal was off. The AGM stated that the sale was final and that I was now stuck with the car. I should also mention that my contract with them also states that I must get my oil changes through them in order to keep the offer of new tires for the life of my ownership as long as I get the oil changed at their dealership so I scheduled an oil change (for $36.00) and sat there waiting for 1.5 hrs before I finally asked them where my car was and they stated that it hadn't even made it into the shop yet! I was pissed since I had made an appointment and was there at 9 A.M.. I think this is their way of getting out of that free tire offer, they piss you off so you never come back. F*CK THESE PEOPLE!

I paid 3000.00 down signed the papers and went homw and looked at my paperwork. They never put my 3000.00 on my principle. It's as if I never gave them the money. The loan I got from them gets bigger as I pay it down. I even pay 100.00 more then my payment. I think this place is to run through mexicans and pour people. They are very disrespect when you question them and they badger you and make threats to take my car away because Im asking questions.

I left Reno Mazda Kia with a newer but lesser Mazda3 model. Two weeks later I was told to come back in to finalize our deal. They conjured up a new deal that was twice the interest rate I had walked out with. I told them I was not signing that deal and wanted my car back. Unfortunately for me, they sold my trade-in and essentially forced me to sign a new deal. A month goes by and I'm getting calls from my old trade-in's bank saying I'm 28 days late on the payment. So, i made two payments on a car that had been "sold" and was not in my possession! Unreal. Anyway, it has been 3 months and I still don't know to whom i am making new payments. No one at the dealership will return my calls or even answer for that matter. I sent a demand letter and that was a joke to them since none of my demands have been met. I'm still in the process of figuring out what to do about this but in the meantime i would not EVER recommend this dealer. I was told I was a bitch when i got frustrated about the whole thing by the dealership manager. Just a bunch of jerks who want to screw people over.

I would rate this dealership beyond negative because this place is a rip off, dealers and manager take advantage of young people buying cars like me, but thanks guys I'm twice wiser now when it comes to buying a car, but I'm sure not coming to buy another car from you guys ever again in my life and I wouldn't recomend your dealership to anyone, because what you've done to me before is enough and very wrong. I bought a used car mercury mystic there and I wasn't satisfied with the car for one day and I was trying to return it to get a new car for the same price and the dealer and the manager wouldn't exchange it because I bought the used car the same price like it was new, the dealer didn't have a conscience to tell me that the car was over price, what a rip off. I made a very big mistake coming there, it made my life hell. I can't believe people would do anything to get money, heres what I can tell you money is not everything, its the trust that counts. Please don't ripped off young people like me who are innocent on buying cars. God is watching us always remember that.

No way they totally screw you. You tell them what you want and they dont listen, and over price you so u end upupside down, run, run fast away. We called them the next day all day no one would talk to us or return our calls. I wrote a letter to the owner they said they couldnt help us, and then gave us $300 so wed leave them alone. I want to emphasize that I will never consider Reno Mazda Kia as a dealer with whom I wish to do business. In June my wife and I spent the better part of 2 weeks trying to make a deal on a car at their lot for her business use. After several visits and several phone calls with their sales rep Brian and a sales manager, whose name escapes me right now, we agreed on a price on a Friday evening on the telephone. I was out of town but told your sales manager I would be in on Sunday to pick up the car, a 2007 Kia Optima. He agreed to hold the car. On Sunday after calling and leaving a message for the sales manager that we would be in about noon to pick up the car with cash in hand, I showed up to take delivery. Imagine my surprise to find that they had sold the car to another party on Saturday. My wife was devastated, and the only explanation we received was that we should have canceled our out of town plans and returned to Reno to pick up the car on Friday. This after almost 2 weeks of negotiations on price. Had they met my price on Thursday instead of calling me back on Friday while on the road, we would have made the deal before leaving town. Finally, after being snubbed and ignored for 45 minutes while someone tried to find our now non existing car, I drove across the street to Allison Automotive and 20 minutes later purchased a Hyundai Sonata. As it turned out, this car was a much better deal with the V6, sunroof, and many more options than their 4 cylinder Optima. Needless to say, our buying experience there was also much more pleasant and I will recommend them to everyone I associate with.My wife and I are recent transplants from California after selling a SERVICE business (emphasis on service) we owned and operated for 30 years. I am now the operations manger for a 270 unit townhome complex off of South Meadows Parkway (right in your new locations back yard) and have daily contact with all of the residents. My wife is a sales agent for a local credit card processing company who meets with 3 to 5 business people daily and contacts many more by phone. We also live in Sommerset in the Del Web Sierra Canyon Community and are very active in the community. Our experience with this dealership is detailed on their bulletin boards and on their website.This dealership was our first experience with a local Reno business, so it will forever remain in our minds. At every opportunity, we try to detail our experience with this dealership and that of their competitor. Guess who wins and who loses!

I had to go back to the dealership 3 times because of mistakes they made on the paperwork. The smog certificate that they gave me initially was expired and when I went back to get another one, they gave me a certificate that belonged to another customer. So, I had to go back yet another time to get the correct one. They also printed the extended warranty paperwork incorrectly, which lead me to going back a third time. They seemed rather unapologetic to me about the hassle I went through too.

my air bag light was on, i called kia, they said two hours next day, drove 50 miles, turns out its 24 hours, came to pick up car, seat not in car, service consultant says to make appointment, we ask for manager, manager says its in, then he says its not in when he notices they have scratced the car all up on inside, they put seat in right, but now they dent door, they clean some of grease they put in there and say the rest of it is old, yeah right! two hours go by while all the employees are so unproffesional and i will not go back.

They pulled the switch interest rate scam on my mother. She is a 75 year old widow,and this was her first car purchase on her own. She told them from the start that she could not make a payment of more than $175 a month. So they kept running back and forth to the credit department and the sales manager. The usual routine. She was about to walk out (I wish she had) when they came up with a suitable deal. Or so she thought. She signed the papers for a 7% intrest rate, and took the car home. Two weeks later they call and say she needs to come in. So I go with her and low and behold they tell her that they can't give her the 7% rate, unless she puts down more cash. The new rate would be 10.9% and her payments would now be $225 a month. She tells them no way can she do that, just give me back my old car, and I'll go home.They try the rental routine and she let's them know that it is illegal to do that. So now that they will lose this sale they go back to the agreed payment plan.<br>Stay away from people that try to cheat widows!!!! They will surely try to cheat you too!!!!!

My daughter attempted to purchase her first car here. Things went well, she selected a vehicle, completed all the paperwork, and took the car home with the promise that there would be no problem financing the deal. I infact told the salesman, the closer and the finance manager, that we would wait and not take the car home if they felt there would be any problem with the financing.<br><br>After three weeks of following up with them almost daily, they could not secure the financing and wanted us to come in and pick another vehicle and work a new deal. We were not willing to do this and turned in the cas as we wanted to go elsewhere.<br><br>They stipulated that we had signed a "rental agreement" which obligated us to pay $50.00/day if we couldn't get financed. We negotiated this down to $300.00.<br><br>We purchased another vehicle a week later and the financing went through in a week. We were never asked to sign a "rental agreement".<br><br>I have since learned that "rental agreements" are illegal in this state and I am attempting to get my daughter's money back. I don't want to see her pay $300 just to learn the lesson that some people will lie to you.

Reno Mazda Kia Dealership took me for a big ride. I bought my very first car there, a Kia Rio. When I bought the car, there wasn't an owner's manuel in the car and so the car salesman told me he would mail one to me. I never recieved one and after coming in to ask for one again, they said they would send one to me, but never did. When I got my car serviced there, the services were never complete and once on vacation, my wheel bearing, which they "replaced" a month prior, almost came off again, and we had to have it redone. We found out that they had not replaced the whole wheel bearing! Also, because I never recieved an owner's manuel, I was always wondering when things needed to be replaced. All I had to go off of was my warrenty, which said 75,000 miles. Well, my timing belt broke which broke the engine and when asking if my warrenty would cover it, they informed me that in order to have it covered under warrenty I should have had it changed 8,000 miles previously. Upon asking where this information was, they replied it was in the owner's manuel. Even when I got my car serviced there, they never told me that I was at a certain mileage and needed to get this or that replaced, as most car repair places do. They wouldn't work with me in helping me with the repair, and therefore I am stuck making payments on a 2001 Kia that doesn't work. Stay away from this dealership by all means. They were VERY rude to me (especially in the service department) and the only reason I would go is to get a free job via the warrenty, and even this turned out to be a horrible experience. Please, stay away from them! I wouldn't go to this trouble if I didn't want you to run into the same problems as I have. Not all Kia Dealerships are bad, but Reno Mazda Kia is the worst I have ever met. In fact, all the cliches you hear about bad dealerships car salesmen are a reality here. Their slogan "It's all right Hee-ah" is a joke. So, save yourself a world of trouble and go somewhere else.
