We had a really good experience with the repair of our vehicle. It was miss firing and running very poorly. My wife was on her way to an appointment near the Don Johnsons in Rice Lake. She called me and said she was scared to drive the car. I called our service advisor and he arranged for her to drop of the car and provided a loaner car for her to get home. The next day he called and said mice had a nest in the engine compartment and had chewed through wires. He gave me an estimated cost, I told him to fix it. He called back in the afternoon saying the car was fixed and it cost less than the estimate. Great communication and service.Thanks a lot.Maurice and GailDragSmith Farms

As long as it is just an oil change and not major problem with a car I have had for seven years and paid 17,000 for with only 75000 miles on it I am o.k. It is the alternator 900....tie rod end...400 Thermostat...300 that is ridiculous. I have maintained this car for seven years. Tire/oil changes/filters/headlights/wipers. I really think a car you pay 17000 for should last more than 75000 miles before you need to put an alternator/thermostat/tie rod end on it.

Debbie Nelson makes our trips to your service department easy and convenient instead of the normal runaround and unknown costs of the typical service departments. You would get the 5th star if a service customer would get a free car wash like the Ford dealer in town or vacuuming and inside window as the the Mopar dealer does.

I wasn't really looking for a vehicle That Day......but I ran across the Chevy Trax, and then remembered a friend recommended I check it out. I'm real glad I did because I Love It!! I am driving an AWD vehicle and getting an average mpg of 35.5! I couldn't believe it so I took a picture to prove it. I love the way the Chevy handles on the road. I really like the Turbo. I used to have that on my old car so it was nice that this has the same. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone that wants the visibility of being a bit higher than a car, but has the AWD capabilities with the mileage. WoW! Thanks to Bob Tredinnick who sold this Chevy to me.. I'm glad he came out to talk with me that day.He also wasn't a pusher salesman. He let me decide for myself. I was even allowed to take it home for a trial run. I live fairly close by. Thanks Bob. :)

The service person always greets me by my first name; he/she already has the paperwork filled out and knows exactly why I am there in the service dept. He/she checks for recalls. They finish on the time they've stated. They call my name when the work is finished. Nice coffee, sodas, and water available while I wait.

Comfortable waiting room. Employees and service are great. Just do not like the car. Have had to have too many costly repairs after paying 17,000 for the vehicle. Am still hearing a banging noise at times when turning the corner or going to a rough spot (like railroad tracks). Was told it was the right tie rod and cost 250 but still hearing the noise and afraid to take it in AGAIN...especially after the 380 dollar thermostat repair. Also, not to mention the alternator at 900 dollars.

A careless person put a very noticeable dent in my brand new car door. The collision center was able to fix the door like new and under the cost estimate. By the way the estimate was a fraction of the estimates from two other body repair businesses.

The friendly service staff at Don Johnson were able to schedule me in right away, were flexible when I had to change my initial appt. when something happened to come up, and once there, had a diagnosis in no time (which was very appreciated seeing I had my 4 kiddos there). They then let me use one of their vehicles so I could run a few errands while they were making the necessary repairs to my vehicle. I can't say enough good things about the service staff at Don Johnson, as their communication and service are both top notch! We'll definitely be going back in the future for our vehicle needs and any service issue that may come up! Thanks for the great experience!

A combination of online shopping and in store buying made our upgrade from a 2001 Impala to a 2014 Impala easy! Pat Davis and his associates made our buying experience as easy and affordable as possible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I usually take my vehicle to another dealership closer to home where the vehicle was purchased, but I was unable to schedule an appointment with them before heading out of town on a trip. Since I needed to get my oil change before leaving, I contacted Don Johnson Motors. I was able to get in quickly before my trip, and I was pleasantly surprised that my oil change cost less than where I usually go.I felt that all staff I spoke with on the day of the visit were friendly and professional. I was comfortable in the guest area with a place to work on my computer while having a soda. I would like to say thank you for the great service and for allowing me to get the much needed oil change before my trip.

Had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Super nice guy took care of me. Was happy with everything except for the fact that it took 1 1/4 hours for service. I was going to continue to have my service done at DJM even after my 4 complimentary oil changes. Now I not so sure, I can go elsewhere in Rice Lake without an appointment and be done in way less time.

I would offer that Debbie Nelson is the most helpful and customer service person I have ever dealt with at a Dealer Service Desk. She is attentive and tends to the customers needs as a priority. My truck was showing me signs of being unsafe to drive. Don Johnsons took in my truck, had it looked at for problems I was concerned with, and gave me the pricing for the repairs that were needed. Also a big plus was being given a loaner car for my use while the truck was repaired. I felt the staff was very easy and understanding to work with. My truck now drives like new --- instead of like the 13 years old it is! I am very satisfied with the service and wouldn't hesitate to call on them for any future service needs.

Best buying experience ever!!!!!!I started my truck shopping experience in my local town (was not pleased). I found the truck I wanted on Don Johnsons website, with a great price, and made the decision to drive north. I was very impressed after my initial meeting with Todd Kane, Levi Johnston and the rest of the sales team, and they exceeded every expectation I had.Giving Don Johnson Motors and their sales team a five star rating is easy. Id easily give them ten stars if I could. From start to finish, everyone at Don Johnson Motors went above and beyond. As a business owner myself, It takes a lot to impress me, and I rarely take the time out of my busy schedule to write a review. If its important to you to deal with someone that is going to be honest, and stand behind every word they say from beginning until long after the sale is over, then you wont be disappointed with Don Johnson Motors. I would say to my friends and family at this point, It would be foolish to not drive the extra distance, because you wont find a better experience or deal.

The service at Don Johnson was excellent. Our salesman,Dale was great. He spent a lot of time working with us to purchase exactly what we wanted. Although we live in Eau Claire, we chose to purchase our new Sierra truck from your dealership. After purchasing previous vehicles from other car dealers, we feel that Don Johnson was able to provide us with answers to the many questions that we had and was very accomadating in staying past closing time if needed. Dale even came in on his day off to finalize the purchase. He spend much time going over the truck features and was very thorough. Jake R. was SO accommodating, honest, and a true definition of what customer service and satisfaction should be. I came to Don Johnson's after looking at a couple other dealerships. I wasn't unhappy with what I test drove before but still had to check out Don Johnson's. I'm so happy I did. I fell in love with a Acadia. It's the perfect size for me. I was looking for a specific color, but the color of the vehicle I test drove was even more perfect - inside & out. My sales person was excellent, very knowledgeable & helpful. Every time I came to the dealership everyone I saw was always kind & happy. I chose the Denali package and I'm having fun finding out all the wonderful thing this SUV can do.. I tell family & friends about my positive experience I had. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the lot, building, restrooms, windows. I'll be very comfortable returning for oil changes.

I have purchased a lot of cars and this was by far the best purchase experience I've ever experienced. Darren and crew were awesome and I would 100% recommend them to anyone in the market to buy a new vehicle. I made the mistake of buying a truck that was not a GM product a year and a half ago and finally came around. The ride of my new Sierra is so quiet and smooth I don't think I'll ever buy another brand. Save time and start your shopping with Don Johnson Motors.

Great experience except when I went to sign papers they said they couldn't honor the price we had agreed on. The sales manager wanted me to pay extra for the accessories they had added. After leaving the dealership for a couple hours and giving everyone a chance to think about the situation, the sales manager agreed to honor our original deal. All ended fine but with some additional stress.

I am so happy with the service I received in Rice Lake. Had a few issues with my car & they gave me a loaner and said they wanted to make sure that everything was taken care of before it was given back to me. When it was, everything worked great, PLUS they washed it!!Sandy, in the service department, is amazing to work with. She goes above & beyond. Every single staff member greeted me & I could tell it was sincere. Very impressed & I will for sure buy my next car from there! Thank you!!

Don Johnson's truly has the customer in mind. I can't say enough about my car purchase experience. This is the 4th new car i have bought from them. I will never go elsewhere from here on out. Go see George Bibeau, he is the easiest salesman i have ever met. Not your typical car salesman. He knows how to do it. Friendly, informative, not pushy at all, takes in all your information and makes it work.

We knew exactly how much we could afford to pay monthly and had done our homework. They did everything possible to be sure we could drive away with a new car. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the Chevy Trax is a lot like our Aztek, which we love. We were unhappy when they stopped making the Aztek, and often said if they brought it back, we would wait in line for one. The Trax is easy to drive and we especially love the rear camera. Darren was wonderful, and he made sure we were comfortable and happy with everything that was taking place. Thank you Don Johnson of Rice Lake.

I bought my wife a new 2015 Chevrolet Traverse the other day from the guys at Don Johnson. This is car number 4 that I have bought from them and the first new car not to mention. After my recent car/deer collision, the tow truck driver asked my where he could drop me off. I said, without hesitation, Don Johnson's, they always treat me like family. And they did! Everyone's first question was "Are you okay?" (Fortunately I was.) My cynical friends said that was because they just wanted to sell me a new car. Probably. But I felt everyone was sincerely more concerned about me. And I was never pressured about buying a new car. Bob Tredinnick, my salesperson, sat me down, got me a coffee and even looked up my insurance company's phone number and dialed for me. (I was pretty shaken up.) Bob and Don got me into a loaner car immediately, even though my insurance didn't cover it. And let me use it for a week at no charge! I was the one who mentioned "new car" and they were the ones who told me to wait until later. I am now in a beautiful new car. And yes, I bought it from Don Johnson Motors. Bob knew exactly what I wanted and didn't pressure me or try to "Up-sell" me. And I know I will never have to worry about any problems, at least vehicle-wise. :-) Thank you, EVERYONE, at Don Johnson Motors!! You are the best!

Jake was a wonderful salesman! No pressure. He new I was interested in the Impala LTZ but also new my dollar limit and instead he showed me the Impala LT that I just fell in love with new I had to have that car! Way to go Jake! He took plenty of time to show me all the new technology as I was a bit overwhelmed. He also told me if I needed his help with anything after my purchase to just give him a call and he would assist me with whatever. Can't say enough about DJM. With customer service like that you bet I will be back!

We worked with George. He was so very helpful and knowledgeable, it made the process go very smoothly. Your dealership was first on our list of cars to evaluate as we knew what type of vehicle we wanted and needed. I felt it was very positive to find one that met all our needs and then use that as our baseline as we made comparisons. Don Johnson Motors was recommended by the USAA buyer's service. After negotiating with several dealerships throughout Wi and northern IL, I made a deal with DJM. Unfortunately, they did not get an allocation for my car. Jake and Todd worked with the dealer rep to get an extra allocation to be added near the end of the production run. Not only did I keep the original deal I had made, but when I took delivery, I was able to qualify for an additional military discount. We are planning to purchase a 2015 Colorado in the coming year and DJM will be at the top of the list of dealerships I will be contacting.

I bought a pre owned Cadillac SRX from Pat at Don Johnson Motors in Rice Lake. We negotiated on my trade and I got almost everything I wanted. I did't have my check book with me so I mailed them a check when I got home for the down payment. The driver's windshield wiper was worn and when I pointed out what a new one cost me, Pat reimbursed me with car wash tokens with the same value. Very nice! Thank you! I also liked the free Wi-Fi area. Next visit I will bring my tablet.

I truly appreciate Debbie, Dave and the mechanic (I'm sorry, I didn't catch his name) going above and beyond to help me. It was very bad weather and I discovered my tire was suddenly leaking air badly and I still had 20 miles to go to get home with my 7 yr old son. I showed up unannounced and close to closing time. However, the team didn't hesistate to help me out, patch the tire, and I was able to get home safe and sound. Wonderful service!

Dale Campbell called me and let me know that a vehicle had been traded in and wanted to know if I was interested and I was, but could not get out to fill out the paperwork - so he explained in layman terms how I could fill out the application on-line and I was able to complete everything and just set up the time that was convenient for me to go in and pick up my new vehicle. They had it cleaned up beautifully and Dale's patience with explaining all the options on my "new" vehicle was amazing! I love my new 2012 GMC and loved the service I received from everyone I spoke with there. Thanks!

Very clean facility that offered refreshments and wifi and tablet useage while I waited. Allowed me to take the vehicle home for a test drive and it was ready when I arrived to pick it up to take home. The saleman(Shawn Hilbert) made a follow up call 2 days later to make sure everything was alright or to see if I had any questions.

Yesterday I bought a vehicle from Don Johnson Motors in Rice Lake. I first went to their website where I was able to find the vehicle I was interested in and was able to submit my application online. In less than 10 minutes I got a call and set up an appointment. Bob, our sales person was so kind and helpful. He and the rest of the staff were very professional, yet personal and made our buying experience completely stress-free. It is obvious to me that the employees truly enjoy working for Don Johnson motors and that makes a big difference in the buyers experience. The service was outstanding and was far better than any other dealership that I have ever worked with in the past. Before leaving, we even were presented with a $40 gas voucher! I can and will highly recommend Don Johnson Motors in Rice Lake to all of my family and friends!

My husband & I keep returning to don Johnson when we decide to trade in & purchase new. I was very impressed with our salesman, dale. He was very patient with us & I felt like we were buying a car from an old friend. Dale was very helpful & took a lot of time explaining the new features in my new 2013 chevy Malibu. Comparing to others dealers in the area, the remodeling they have done is very comfortable while you wait for contract to be written up or waiting for service on your car. We have also taken our cars for service there and the serviceman who greets you is very friendly. We live in Rochester, MN but have a lake home in Birchwood, WI. After years of making most of our major purchases in Rochester, we opted to purchase our first pontoon from Gene Danca at the Cumberland location. He was very informative and presented a no pressure sales approach. From the sale, through the purchase and delivery everything was as promised. Mark delivered the boat and was very helpful, courteous and professional. Even when he was faced with a flat tire on the trailer he called with an updated delivery time !

Having decided it was time to upgrade our 2001 Monte Carlo, I was tooling through the used cars at Don Johnson in Rice lake. I had done the same thing at 2 other lots. A difference here was that as I stopped and got out to take a closer look, Bob was right there to help. Didn't happen at the others. we talked briefly about what I was looking for. He then suggested we go inside where we could look at all of the inventory. He asked a few more questions and listened. He then suggested a car that was slightly out of the parameters I had set. He then pointed out the extra value and I agreed. I took the 2010 Impala out for a test drive and brought my wife back with me to the dealership. Bob had done work to produce a deal that met our needs with some options for us. After selecting and agreeing to the deal, his team went to work and we quickly completed the purchase, plates were transferred our 2010 car and we were on our way. We are very pleased with the whole transaction and the car.

I just had an oil change done at Don Johnson's and, honestly, it was the best service experience I've ever had. I drove up to the service entrance and the door opened so I drove in. One of the service advisers opened my car door for me and welcomed me by name (I had an appointment). They used an iPad to check me in and do an inspection of my vehicle then got me settled next to the fireplace in their customer lounge with a cappuccino and helped me connect my laptop to their free WiFi. Unfortunately by the time I got to work it was time to go because my vehicle was done in less than 30 minutes complete with fluids topped off, other items inspected and my windows washed. I'll definitely be back again. Next time I just hope it takes a little longer so I can enjoy my cappuccino! :)

I found a used Equinox at Don Johnson Motors on Cars.com and called the dealership to find out more about it. The gentleman I spoke with was incredibly polite and helpful and answered all of my questions. I scheduled an appointment to see the vehicle and when I arrived it was waiting for me out front, freshly washed, and running so it was warm inside. We took a test drive and I got a tour of their beautiful brand new facility. The price was already cheaper than any other I'd found and their finance department got me a loan for under 3%! I'm expecting my new car to last me a long time, but when it does come time to upgrade again I'll be going right back to Don Johnson Motors!

Don Johnson Motors is the only car dealership within 50 miles that I'll do business with. Their sales staff is friendly and honest (which certainly isn't the case with some of the other dealers in town) and they go out of their way to help. Prices are straightforward and more than fair. The service folks are equally great to work with. Highly recommend!

Don Johnson Motors was fantastic to work with while buying my new car. As a woman, I dread buying a new car. Always feel inferior to the salemans, BUT, my experience at DJM has been fantastic! Shawn made me feel so comfortable while purchasing my new vehicle. He patiently answered every question, and made buying a car pain free! I was happy with my trade-in, and very happy with my purchase price. Josh was sucessful in finding me a great interest rate, which really made my vehicle package complete. it is a beautiful facility, and very clean, and I will now enjoy having my oil changed, while having coffee or soda in the comfortable lounge. We found several vehicles from different dealers in the Rice Lake area on Cars.com. After a TERRIBLE experience with the dealer in Barron we went to Don Johnson Motors. Don Johnson had a simliar vehicle with less miles and more options for over $2,000 LESS! Plus the staff was awesome--incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. While we were looking at cars one of the salespeople even watched our children for us! It's probably too far for us to travel for service but we'll definitley be back for our next vehicle!
