I purchased my new Subaru Forester about 8 weeks ago. I had to wait for my pretty blue one to arrive from the factory but was well worth the wait!! Rod Israeli kept me updated on the progress and made sure everything was going on schedule. They worked really hard to give me a more than fair deal on my trade in so that I could drive away in a new car!! Rod made me feel he really cared about me and how satisfied I was with my purchase. He made sure to email and call with followups and took the time during my test drive and pickup of my new car to go over the features so I felt comfortable leaving the lot!! If they continue to treat me like this through out the life of my car I will be more than pleased!! I love my new ride!!

Very happy with our new Subaru Forester and the experience we had at this dealership. Rod Israeli is an excellent salesman. His knowledge of this car is what sold us on it. We were considering both the Forester and the Honda CR-V. (Had a CR-V without any issues for 11 years so we were leaning toward another purchase). The salesmen at both Wilde and Rock County Honda did not seem all that interested in us or the vehicle we were interested in. Night and day with Rod Israeli who was very attentive without any pressure. A+ operation all around. Highly recommend and will be customers ourselves in the future.

In particular, the assistance and thoroughness provided by my sales rep, Rod Israeli, was the best I've had in my life. Rod let me delay my response on the purchase and even provided his personal cell number for me to contact him on his day off. Rod stayed after hours on both of my visits the Don Miller's and he spent 30 minutes after the sale giving me another test ride with a full explanation about the cars features and the workings of the engine.This is my best experience with any dealer in my life. 1 review 4.0 star rating 9/7/2016 My husband & I just purchased a 2017 Subaru Outback. First time purchasing a Subaru. Eddie Bittar was our salesperson. I thought he did a fine job. He was not pushy or loud like a lot of salesmen are. We were able to sit & talk with him about the vehicle after test driving. Everything went fine until the day we came in to pick up our Subaru. That was a long process. We had a very frustrating experience with Toby, the 'new' finance manager. He said he had been there for 4 days. He was extremely pushy & talked way too fast. Finally we had enough & told him we will do what the original paperwork said, no more. We had wanted to put additional money down but by that time, we just wanted out. Eddie was finally able to take us out & show me all the different features of our new Outback. I think Eddie is a good salesperson. If it wasn't for him, I think we would have walked out after speaking with Toby.

My wife and I purchased our first new car in 1969, a VW bug;our last new car was purchased in 1999 a Plymouth Mini Van. The Outback Touring we purchased will probably be our last one. Having purchased 2 used Subaru's in the interim, we have confidence in the product. Rod Israeli made the purchase experience very comfortable and reassuring,. We even upgraded our model choice over the phone and still had our car delivered on schedule. He did a great job explaining the modern technology in today's cars to two senior citizens, we appreciated his patience and personal attention.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! BETTER YET, BURN RUBBER OUT OF THEIR LOT TO A DEALER WHO WILL CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. They dont even deserve the one star. Eddie Bittar is a salesman who will lie straight to your face about your upcoming payment and sale price of vehicle all just to try and force you into the next step of his disgusting sales process. Peter Hubbard is a general manager who won't even call a customer making replying to his email about some concerns with a fully approved car deal about to close, he will have "his business manager call on his behalf two days later." Then, you get the "business manager" who is the finance jerk. Tells me his first day working was the day I was there to meet him. Lied to my face! Told me I would be driving a new Subaru that night. I waited hours away from home to see a deal close and they didnt tell me until after close at 9:30pm that they would need another day since it's so late. 5 days later, still have no time to close a fully approved financed new Subaru. A CUSTOMER WITH CASH IN POCKET WANTING TO BUY A CAR THEY HAVE AND THEY WONT TAKE THE TIME TO SELL IT LET ALONE BE HONEST ON WHEN I CAN BUY IT. I've never seen a dealership go so far out of their way to postpone a sale, lie straight to a customers face repetetively, and allow a finance manager to acost and get emotionally angry at a customer. I am a completely passive and easy going customer, I can't imagine what Don and Connie Miller would think if I told them what happened here. Funny thing is that I tried to buy a car from them a year ago and had almost the same situation. So, likely this happens alot, and people just move on and go to another dealer that has their game together. RUN FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

There are many advantages to being long time customers of Don Miller Subaru. Thirty years at one dealership and 13 Subarus speaks volumes for the value of the Subaru brand and quality of the Don Miller staff. The sales staff has always treated us as friends and while major service has never been necessary routine maintenance has been done at our convenience and right the first time. On 8-8-16 we went shopping for a 2017 Subaru Outback. Rod Israeli met us on the lot. We have always been treated with respect by Don Miller sales staff and Rod was no exception. He knows his product thoroughly and listened to our requirements putting together a Don Miller deal fair to all. When we received the car Rod spent well over an hour with us making sure we understood the many new features of the 2017 model. The following day/s Rod called to confirm our satisfaction. Finally time to upgrade my 2002 Forester. I knew the style, color, and package I wanted in my new one. Rod Israel was awesome! He insisted on taking me on a test drive to make sure I was truly getting what I wanted. He was patient in pointing out all the accessories and answering all my questions. He was fair and not all pushy during the negotiations. He seems to genuinely enjoy his job and helping customers find the vehicle that's right for him. Outstanding customer service, thoughtful and patient without fail, and just a totally fabulous person! I would rate 5 stars for the salesman Rod Israeli. However, the low overall rating is because of the manager. I recently found a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing. Rod Israeli was the salesman that I was lucky enough to be approached by. He was respectful while talking with me and answered my questions. We worked out a deal, but I wasn't taking the car home that day. The dealership was going to fix a dent prior to me taking the car. There was an issue with the repair and the manager said he would not do anything to fix it. Luckily Rod Israeli went out of his way to insure that I got exactly what I needed to be happy with the repair. We were in contact multiple times while discussing the repairs. Each time I asked a question he immediately found the answer. There were many things that he did that were far above what I feel a different salesman would do. If you are interested in looking at a vehicle at Don Miller Subaru East, I would highly recommend asking for Rod Israeli.

I would like to express how wonderful and professional the staff were at Don Miller Subaru in Madison Wisconsin. Rob Israeli was a wonderful salesman. He took his time with explaining the new features on the Subaru's and the differences they hold. He also took time to allow us to test drive two of them and pointed out the newer features on both the cross trek and the outback. The day I took ownership of the Subaru outback, I have never had a salesman go through the owner's manuals or the car features as thorough as Rod had that day. I really appreciated all the time he spent with me to make sure I knew what I was getting. He even connected my phone to the car. We were torn between an Outback and the sedan. After much deliberation we opted for the sedan and so far are in love with it. My wife and I recently purchased a car from Rod Israeli. I can't recommend him enough. Informative, down to earth, and straight forward, fair, and also fun to work with. Additionally, he was more than willing to go the extra mile. For instance, rather than trying to steer us into buying a car he had on the lot, he made certain to find the car with the features we wanted, even thought it was located at another dealer. Also, he spent well over 2 hours after delivery going over all the features and set up option so that my wife would be comfortable with her new car. In sum while our experience at Don Miller was great, it was due in no small part to Rob;s involvement with our purchase.

As a first time new car buyer, I don't have a lot of experience to compare to, but I give them 5 stars, A++! I knew I wanted an Outback prior to going to the dealership via my own research and the Chicago Auto Show. I found the perfect model on their website (East location seems to have more options available) and initially contacted their internet sales rep, Dean, for a quote on a specific car. He responded promptly that same night with a quote my husband and I were very happy with (especially since we aren't good at haggling). We decided to go to the dealership a few days later (without making an appointment) and we were greeted by a smiling Rod Israeli at the front door. He was assigned to help us on our purchasing quest, and he exceeded my expectations. Rod is very kind and knowledgeable on all Subaru models. He is dedicated to his customers and not pushy at all. He spent a long time with us in the actual car explaining all the features and teaching us how to use them. The whole process was wonderful!

I was faced with the need to buy a new (replacement) car in a short time period. After some research, and as a previous Volvo owner for many years, I opted to explore a Subaru Outback. My internet research on the car and area availability led me to Don Miller's internet staff, which was an incredibly easy and comfortable intro to the car buying experience as well as getting me a great price. Dean Woldstad, the "Internet guy," was great. He set me up with Dave Stellflue for a look and a test drive. They had just gotten in the Outback with the precise features I was looking for. Dave was great at explaining the car's features and letting me ask questions. With the info and the price they gave me, it was very easy to decide on the purchase...thereafter they made the purchase and pickup process as smooth as possible. Dave even programmed my phones into the car's Bluetooth hands-free system, when he came in on his day off so I could pick up the car on the best day for me.

They got back to me immediately with a vehicle that fit my specs that hadn't even made it onto their website yet I drove out that afternoon and met with Shane Henry. My husband and I purchased a Subaru Impreza from Don Miller East on 12/22/15. Danielle Juhl, Salesperson, greeted us on Tuesday when we arrived at the dealership. She was informative and not pushy during our purchasing decision. After two test drives with a 2005 Outback Subaru and a 2008 Subaru Impreza she gave us time to talk things over, offered us options with the 2005 to purchase, and handled waiting for our decision with patience. We purchased the 2008 Subaru Impreza. On Christmas Day we drove the Subaru to Michigan and returned a few days later without any mechanical problems. The Subaru performed well at lower and higher speeds (70 mph) without feeling like you were in a tin can.....the Subaru is a tight and smooth vehicle.We would definitely purchase another vehicle from Don Miller in the future. I consulted Dean Woldstad and wanted to test drive a WRX. I was told that they had one available and would be ready for me when I showed up. I show up, both of their WRXs are parked in a way that they aren't coming out unless they re-arrange the lot and they were not willing to let me behind the wheel unless they had a deposit in hand. Basically it was an hour of BS and runaround to basically sit down with me and give me a quote. I walked out the door and that was the last I heard of them. I sent my quote to Wilde and they matched it and had a WRX ready on my arrival to take for a short cruise. I may be young, but I was not there to beat on the car. If you want a forrester, go here and pay MSRP. If you want a fair deal and to actually get behind the wheel of a fun car, go to Wilde, ask Teddy to setup a WRX test drive and buy from him. Previously I dealt with DJ, but forgot his name when I came in the second time. He was knowledgeable on the car and friendly, but I personally will avoid Don Miller in the future.

My husband made an appointment to test drive a Subaru WRX. They were happy to schedule us, but when we showed up they told us that we could not even test drive it until we signed a document stating that we were going to buy the car. We argued, how can you know if you want to buy a car if you can't even test drive it!? They were very pushy. We went to another dealer who was happy to allow us to drive it and we gladly purchased the car through them. It seems like awful business practice and we will never be back!

Can't believe I'm saying this, but we had a really pleasant experience buying a new Forester. My husband and I went in just for a test drive, but we both really liked the Forester. And Jim Casey, our salesman, was very knowledgeable and helpful -- not pushy. And once we bought it, they didn't try to sell us a bunch of other crap. Jim spent probably half an hour showing us around the vehicle, syncing my iphone, and making sure we knew how to operate it safely. An honest-to-goodness decent car-buying experience -- my first ever. We'll go back.

In the market for arrogance? Then Don Miller is the place to shop.First, Subarus are very good cars. I leased a 2006 Impreza and a 2010 Forrester, both from Don Miller and I loved them.Today, Subarus are selling like hotcakes, virtually everything they can ship.And don't Don Miller know it. In spite of that, last month I went to Don Miller, and thought I had come to a deal. A good deal, not fantastic, but something I felt comfortable with. I produced a letter from Subaru Motors Finance (SMF)when my last lease ended, Dec '13 which said they'd pick up the first month's payment on a new lease and the disposition fee for the Forrester. I FULLY understood that was a limited time offer, and told the salesman such, but I said, as a 3 time repeat customer, could they find out if SMF would extend the offer to pick up the first month's lease, $253.00. He "checked" and said he didn't see a problem. So, he gave me a blank purchase contract to sign, ILLEGAL AS xxxx, and asked for some money down, to "prove" I was serious, and then sent me in to see the Finance Manager. The old coot sales manager stopped by, who had signed the blank contract (ILLEGAL) and joked about what a good deal I was getting. Obviously, the salesman knew the offer was bogus because he disappeared. The finance manager went to the file cabinet, pulled out a policy from SMF saying the offer was only good for 6 months after the previous lease ended. I said I realized it had expired, but I was told that it would still be possible and that's the basis on which I agreed to the deal. I asked the Finance Manager if he could get SMF on the phone and perhaps, since I was an 8 year lessee who had always paid on time, check with them to get another 3 years of business. "No." Now, even if SMF had said no on the speaker phone and he was humoring me, I'd probably have gone through with the lease. Even better if they had gone to bat for a three-peat customer. But no. Then he looked at me with dead eyes and said, "So?" I said, would Don Miller lower the price $253 to make up the difference. "No, that was our offer." They were still making about $1,500 on it. So I grabbed my cash, any document I had signed and left. Arrogant Don Miller lost a customer and Subaru lost a customer for life. I spent $30,000 on my first two leases, and this one would have been worth $9-10,000 for Subaru and SMF and they would have gotten a well taken care of leased car back after 3 years to resell and another $1,000 for Don Miller for maintenance business for three years.If you're set on a Subaru, there is a dealer in Waukesha and one in Janesville. Don't fall for the Don Miller Deal/screwing that they spend thousands of dollars on full page ads in the State Journal and Isthmus and on radio and TV each week, but they diss a three-peat customer over $253. Did I mention arrogant?There are a lot of good cars, and a few dealers that treat you with respect. Don Miller is not one of them. I think it's a corporate culture kind of thing, because I had a similar bad experience when they sold Pontiac. Only that time they had me sign a contract for a car on order with one set of options, and "oops" it came in with other options for $1,500 more.

My wife and I bought a new Outback, and had an incredible experience here. Our salesman was DJ, I highly highly recommend that you request him. He was incredibly knowledgable, and was not pushy in the slightest. He easily answered all of our questions, and showed us everything that we wanted to know about the car (and things that I didn't even know I wanted to know about the car.) We test drove on a Saturday, and he gave us his business card with his cell phone number and said call him at anytime with any questions we could ever have and he would be happy to help, but that he wasn't going to call us; I can't tell you how awesome it was to be in a completely pressure-free environment, and have such an incredibly helpful and friendly salesman. We got an incredible deal, there wasn't any nickel and diming, and the process was so transparent. The buying process was incredibly easy as well, we walked in at 9am and we were gone by 10:30 with our new car. I just really don't have a single bad thing to say about my experience here. If I had to do it all over again, I would hands down without hesitation come back here and ask for DJ.

Tim Bisbee in sales was wonderful. Long History of his love for cars comes through his passion for the Subaru. Was able to 'cut to the meat' of what I needed to know about this awesome car. Peter Hubbard GM was 'no nonsense' on the business side of backing up the vehicle in light of it's many competitors. Jason Gest helped my husband and I with the financing aspects. He was very professional, pleasant, and focused which is a great comfort when making such a purchase. Rick Tonstad (Service Advisor) was a bit busy to talk to, but am looking forward to meeting him when I have service checks but from the brief visual I got, he looked like he had a few years under his belt. Viewing the 'service bay' it was clean, organized, and very professional looking. Gave me a sense of trust when I saw a few gray hair guys (like me). No cars were being serviced at the time, but a couple were in the 'drive up,' and the mechanics were 'on deck.' It was my first visit at this dealership on August 18th, and my 2nd was 16 days later when I picked up my new 2016 Subaru Outback. I thank my husband first for checking out consumer report, Tim and Peter for knowing 'their stuff,' and the engineers at Subaru for making such a beautiful machine. Last fall we ordered a 2015 Outback from DJ Rinehart. Even though this car was (and still is) in high demand, DJ gave us a good discount off of the sticker price with no hassle or back and forth negotiation. He answered our questions straightforwardly, and helped us order a car with the options we wanted.We were so impressed that when we were ready to replace our 2006 Escape this month, we went back to DJ. We were interested in a Forester, but wanted an updated navigation system and eyesight lane guidance. When they got the new 2016 Foresters in stock, we were still missing a couple of features that we liked on our Outback. We went through the entire process of purchasing a Forester, but at the last minute decided on a 2016 Outback instead. Despite all of the time that DJ had already spent working up our Forester purchase, he graciously switched and ordered us a new Outback instead when we changed our minds. I would definitely recommend DJ, and would buy another car from him anytime.

I was in the market to purchased a new vehicle. I headed to Don Miller-East with the intent of test driving a few Subarus. I was specifically interested in the Forester, but I also wanted to look at both the Outback and Crosstrek. Once I walked in the door I was immediately greeted by Bruce. He took the time to listen to my needs and patently answered my questions. He was extremely patient and encouraged me to test drive any (and all) vehicles I was interested in so I could make the best decision possible. I didn't intent to, but I ended up purchasing my Subaru Forester that day! The value was just too good to pass up! I had a trade in and the trade in value was very compatible to Kelly Blue Book, in fact the quoted trade in value by far exceeded the value I had in mind. In addition, Bruce was very accommodating and was able to respectively and professionally negotiate a price that fit my budget. I couldn't have asked for a better price for both my trade in and new vehicle. Not once did I feel pressured or pushed into an agreement or contract. I can honestly say that I had a very enjoyable and pleasant experience! I highly recommend Don Miller Subaru-East!

I went to the dealership to look at (test drive) a used Outback and actually came home with it that day. I did not feel pushed into the decision but, was given a good deal on my Legacy trade-in and a good price on the used Outback. I had done my research ahead of time a knew my price range and what bells and whistles I wanted and those I did not (nor need). I've "loved" my Subaru Legacy and knew I would not look at another brand. I have always had great service at Don Miller and as a woman have been treated respectfully in my car purchases.

Up until now I have really, really disliked car buying. We have had 20+ years of experience with less than stellar and sometimes extremely uncomfortable salespeople and dealerships. However, Jim Casey at Don Miller Subaru East in Madison has changed that for me. My husband and I went in and we were pleasantly greeted by Jim and made to feel welcomed and respected. We were planning on doing our homework with a visit to the dealership. Shannon listened very well to our wants and dislikes. He showed us a car we were not sold on initially. He was very knowledgeable and shared his love for Subaru's with us. He gave us time to mull it over and was very patient with us...wanting our decision to be the best one for us. Ultimately we realized the car was more than we asked for and the price was right. We ended up taking care of the financing with the store closed. Shannon and the finance guy were happy to stay and help even though Wisconsin basketball was playing in the final four that night. We went in to test drive 2 used but certified subaru Foresters. Had a great sales person, Jim Casey, who was knowledgeable about the model and previous years, gave us a good test drive in both cars, was friendly, fair and easy to deal with. We had a price in mind, and a trade in value we wanted for our car. Without too much discussion we came to a deal that was close enough for us. The general manager Peter was very nice, as were the other staff we worked with. No heavy sales pitch, no push to purchase the added vehicle rustproofing, etc. which gave us the option to discuss and choose. All together the best car buying experience we have ever had and we both generally dislike the final negotiation process in buying a car. We would recommend working with Jim any day.

We new exactly what we wanted and had a set amount of what we wanted to pay with the trade in of our 2000 Subaru. They met it without a hassle and my wife and I were very satisfied. Highly recommend the dealership and all the people that work there. My wife has driven a Subaru for the last 15 years in all kinds of weather and has never been stuck or stranded. She finds it hard to feel confident in any other car. She has gone to work in snow storms that my 4 wheel drive truck had problems going through. I would worry about her if she was driving any other car in the weather she drives in.Tim was very helpful in expediting the purchase. I have very little patience when it comes to large purchases but was totally comfortable with Tim. After a friend bought a new car from Steve and raved about the process, I decided to visit Don Miller Subaru when I was looking for a new car. From the first time I spoke with Steve, he was positive and let me decide which car was the best choice for me. He listened to what I was saying and didn't try to convince me I needed something else. On more than one occasion, he said, "We'll take care of you." and "I would like to put you in a car." but was never pushy and understood it was a process I had to go through. He was genuine and sincere. Never did he ask what the other dealership was willing to do for me or 'sell' me on why buying a car from him was the better choice. Then when I decided on the Outback and the one I wanted wasn't available, John found something comparable that had a few additional amenities but for no additional cost! He ended the conversation with "Don't worry. We'll take care of you." I highly recommend buying a car from Steve and John .

After researching many car dealerships in the Midwest, I came upon Don Miller Subaru East. I contacted Dean on the website and told him the vehicle I was interested in and that I was shopping around. He was very upfront about everything including their price on the vehicle, my trade-in value, and what to expect for the rest of the transaction. We agreed in principal in a few a few emails. I had read some good reviews on this website and asked to work with Tim. We also had contact with the finance guy Jason. This was the most upfront, honest, car dealership I have ever worked with. We spent about an hour at the dealership finishing the deal. I would advise anyone that wants a hassle free experience to look here. We drove over 4 1/2 hours and stayed overnight to get the car we wanted and it was worth it.

I want to write this review for the outstanding service Jim Casey provided me while I was searching for my dream car.I live in Iowa, but for some reason our dealers here are very reluctant to sell their cars at a fair price. Many times my offers were scoffed at as being unreasonable. It's like negotiating is no longer an option. That wasn't the case when I contacted Jim Miller Subaru East. I live several hours from this dealership and expressed to Jim Casey I'd like to get an agreement made before setting out to see the car. This wasn't a problem for him, nor was haggling on the price, which he wasn't afraid to take on, like some of our Iowa dealers! Jim was polite, understanding, and even answered his phone on his day off to answer my questions. I was thoroughly impressed.Long story short, we made the trip, having made all the agreed arrangements prior to setting out. Jim was a man of his word, and the transaction went off smoothly without a single hitch. We weren't there for more than forty five minutes before saying our thanks and parting ways. I just can't believe how easy it was.If I need a new car anytime in the near future, knock on wood, I'll be looking for Jim Casey at Jim Miller Subaru East. Thank you Jim!

He was courteous, friendly, bent over backwards to accommodate anything we needed during the process, and was knowledgeable. I never met the guy he we only exchanged emails about the new 2015 Outback and this is what he wrote in the last one after I informed him that other dealers have quoted me with better prices than him "If you are satisfied with either of the other e-quotes from( dealer names I don't want to disclose), I encourage you to go there and buy your 2015 Outback Premium. Purchasing the certified Outback was an easy process. The website provided accurate information that was navigated smoothly. Pictures, car fax, price, loan calculator, it was all there. One trip to dealership was concise as we had done our research. A return trip gave us the personal interaction with sales person, Tim, and the purchase was confirmed. The car was ready the very next day and everything was complete and ready for us. Buying a new vehicle can be confusing and frustrating, but not this time. Our daughter purchased a Subaru from this dealership and had a positive experience, we repeated this process so it must be "the way things are done here". We would recommend this dealership, Tim, Dean, the web master, and Jason, the financial guy to anyone. They all answered any questions we had and seemed to enjoy their work. We first connected with Dean by email. He offered us a great price on the Subaru Hybrid Crosstrek. What an unpleasant experience. I browsed the dealer's website and clicked to get a price quote for a 2014 Crosstrek Hybrid and to ask whether the dealership has any special pricing agreement with my employer, since several in the area do. Dean Woldstad responded and was evasive from the start. He claimed that they offer "aggressive" pricing, but when pressed for details refused to offer any and claimed that [he] would be shocked" to hear that I was correct when I told him about special pricing offered by Mazda, Honda, etc. He constantly pushed to have me come into the dealership in person while still not answering my questions, but going on tangents about how demand is high so prices are at or near sticker and how unsafe non-Subaru vehicles are. Strangely, when I mentioned that I was also considering a Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5 in addition to the Crosstrek, he told me that "If I was purchasing, I would purchase the CX-5." I finally just shared an internet price quote from another Subaru dealership with him for a similar Crosstrek to the one I asked for, and Dean again strongly implied that I was lying about it and that I should shop elsewhere.All I wanted was answers to a couple of questions:1) Yes or no, do they offer negotiation-free pricing for my company.2) What's their best price for the car/can they compete with the other dealership.Instead, I got a confusing, sales-y runaround, got called a liar, and got told to take my business elsewhere. Unbelievable. I went ahead and emailed the GM of the dealership to tell him about this awful experience and never heard a thing back in response. In the end, I did take my business elsewhere - just across town to Don Miller Subaru West - where I was treated very well and had a great experience. If you're considering a Subaru in Madison, definitely watch out for Dean Woldstad and Don Miller East. Don Miller West was great - I worked with Dennis there and he was awesome.

When I bought my 2013 Subaru Forrester from DJ a year and a half ago I was so happy with my experience. No pressure sale. Very knowledgeable. No nonsense. Respectful. I love my vehicle and am pleased with my overall experience at Don Miller Subaru. I figured, like many dealers I've worked with in the past, that once I purchased my new car the dealer wouldn't give a hoot about me or my car. I was so wrong. I stopped into Don Miller recently and asked about a few scratches (normal wear and tear) on my car and wondered if it was covered by the protection plan I'd purchased. DJ said scratches aren't covered, but he wants me to continue loving my vehicle. He went above and beyond and immediately made arrangements to have them buffed out. For FREE! Incredible. Such great service. DEFINITELY recommend Don Miller Subaru and DJ as your dealer.

DJ is very helpful and willing to go out of the way for people. I spoke to DJ about getting an automatic car starter for my vehicle months ago. I told him at the time it was not affordable to me. I was blessed this last Christmas when my parents gave me the money to purchase an automatic starter. I never even mentioned to them that I wanted it. God is good. I was in getting my Subaru serviced and spoke to DJ about the automatic starter. DJ checked for an automatic starter and had one in stock and told me he would give it to me at cost. I was blessed a second time. God is good all the time. DJ is patient and goes the extra mile. He is always friendly and cares about people. He has a positive attitude and charismatic personality. DJ is a knowledgeable, friendly and considerate salesman who certainly knows the Subaru vehicles that are available at this dealership. He displayed a patient and engaging manner of interacting with us, while he took a good deal of time to first understand our needs and preferences regarding the used Outback that we were seeking -- before he suggested five or six models in our price range for us to examine and/or take out for a test drive. He appeared to be quite genuine in encouraging us to take a comfortable amount of time in driving/experiencing each vehicle that we examined. DJ readily answered all of our questions in a confident, reassuring manner, and there was no evidence of impatience or heavy-handed pressure as we were narrowing down our choices. This was one of the most comfortable, "laid back" and satisfying sales experiences that I have ever experienced!! After we had selected our "new car" and were filling out the paperwork, DJ surprised us with a full tank of gas (other dealers in the past had sold us cars with only a couple of gallons of gas left in the tank - about enough to get part way home!) and he transferred our belongings from our trade-in to our Outback, so that we were happily able to start back home in our new car. I would certainly recommend DJ and Don Miller Subaru East to any of our friends who are in the market for a fairly-priced, pre-owned vehicle.

We dealt with Don Miller downtown and on the West Side in the past, and I was never disappointed with sales OR service. Our latest experience at East bears this out as well. We bought a new car even though we were trying to go another year with our old one!After spending 8 hours between sales and service, having some value-added tweaks done at our own request, I feel like these guys are there to make the car buying and service experiences as seamless as possible. It was surreal for a few days - we had trouble absorbing all of what transpired. They were universally patient and forthcoming with advice and answers to questions.There were even unexpected happy surprises along the way. Subaru is the best car on the road, and buying one at East is the best experience possible. Simple beginning service was done efficiently. Our portable satellite radio was installed with the wiring under the console so it would be out of sight and not in the way at no additional charge.Jim spent a lot of time with us, showing us the new features of the 2013 Outback, some of which we were not aware of, since we were hoping to buy or lease a 2012 model and had researched only that vintage.Overall, no complaints. I look forward to my next visit to Don Miller. These are real people, not fake sales guys who paste on a happy face over their usual cynical ones. They really believe in the cars that they are selling and servicing, and it shows.

As an added bonus, it seems like everyone at this place is an automotive enthusiast in one way or another. It was great to finally come across a dealership full of people that really had a passion for cars, it's something you don't see too often and it made me feel good about buying from them. All employees we dealt with were very friendly, helpful, and did not pressure us at any time. Loan representative helped us get a much lower rate than expected, and gave us excellent advice. Car was clean, ran very well, and competitively priced .

We recently bought a used 2009 Subaru Legacy from Don Miller Subaru East. The vehicle was in excellent condition and we are extremely satisfied with the vehicle and service that we received at Don Miller. We had a great shopping experience with Bruce Fischer, and we highly recommend him. Bruce was very helpful, honest, and answered all of our questions. We spent over 3 hours looking at and test driving many vehicles. Bruce was very patient and attentive. We felt valued and were not pressured into a purchase. We strongly recommend visiting Don Miller Subaru East and asking for Bruce Fischer if you are interested in purchasing a new or used Subaru.

He was a good listener and willing to negotiate without undue pressure. In fact, I found the whole experience to be so good that I brought my sister there to purchase a new car just last week. The service department is by far the best I have ever dealt with. We have purchased three used vehicles from them and they have kept them in top shape. The parts department has been very helpful with my orders and how to do questions, even going as far as to print out part diagrams. The cashiers office is always great to work with. There always is a smile and great communication. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Tim Brisbee was very personable and extremely informative; he made our decision of choosing much easier. Tim immediately put us at ease and never pressed for a decision. All questions were answered and explained well. Tim made sure that we were getting the vehicle that fit our lifestyle as well as our present and future needs. Michael Christiano was very informative as to options that were available to us and guided us in achieving the best lease rate possible. He also was very helpful in informing us of the options of our daughters approaching lease expiration. We would highly recommend these two individuals to anyone and look forward to working with them again in the future.

I just bought a new Subaru from Don Miller East. My mom bought her Subaru from Don Miller East back in 1999 and her car still runs great so I decided to give them a try instead of getting another Honda. My salesperson, Shannon Marcott, was terrific. As a woman, I have had some really unpleasant experiences shopping for a car in the past, but it was a treat dealing with Shannon. He was friendly and helpful but not pushy. I feel like I got a very good price for a really great car. And Shannon took time to explain the car's features as well as showing me around the entire dealership. Everyone I met was very nice and I love my new car. I would recommend this dealership very highly.

Don Miller Subaru East, have the BEST employees! I came to Subaru East to have an evaluation on the work needed on my Subaru Outback, 2003. It was 9 years old with 125,000 miles. As it turned out, it was in my best interest to get a new Subaru. All the people there were VERY helpful and gave us the information we needed. It was a "no brainer"! I needed a new Subaru! After having a Subaru, it's our first choice of vehicles! I gave the rating of "5" on all accounts because the people working at Don Miller East were GREAT! They answered all our questions and were very helpful so we could make a good decision about whether to buy a new Subaru. We decided to get a new Subaru Outback, 2012, silver exterior with black interior. We live in the country with a steep driveway so we're very pleased to have a Subaru with AWD! We've only had it a few days but so far it's been great! Taking it on a getaway this weekend.

This is my 5th Subaru; 4 bought at this dealer because I always get a great price, armed with some good research, fast delivery and impeccable service during routine maintenance and emergency assistance. As a long term customer I have also been given some deep discounts on major repairs. There is no pressure from the sales people, just attentive service. Their receptionist Judy is always cheerful and helpful taking and directing my calls.

Great new car purchase experience. I have been waiting for the 2012 Impreza to arrive. Peter and Bruce kept me informed on the estimated arrival date while I was waiting. Bruce did a great job showing me all the features on the car and Michael did a great job finding the lowest interest rate available. Don Miller Subaru East is an outstanding dealership. My wife and I recently purchased a Subaru Forester, after researching several smaller SUVs. We found that compared to the Toyota Rav 4 and the Honda CRV, the Forester gives you a lot more vehicle for the money. Micheal Christiano, our finance man, knocked us out with his friendliness. I thought he he show a good level of honesty in steering us toward products that might be best for us, rather than pushing for the most expensive packages. He did a great job of getting us an overall package, that had thing things we were looking for at a price that was right in our range. I thought Micheal was good, my wife thought he was awesome.Bruce Fischer our sales guy did a great job of explaining the features of the car, answering our questions. He also worked very hard with in getting us a good deal on on our new car and for our trade in. The only real complaint either I or my wife had, was that my wife thought the sales staff deferred to me more than her, even though she was going to be the primary driver of the car. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend Don Miller Subaru East.
