Bought a 2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport here. Drove over 6 hours from Ohio to the dealership. Paul was our main point of contact. Very nice guy, extremely knowledgeable on all things Subaru. The fog lamps were damaged and he gave us the full dealership expense to replace them off the price of the car. Would definitely recommend to anyone driving from out of state to rest assured that they will be well taken care of.

My dad went with me to buy my first car and it was the easiest way at buying a car. The guy that helped us was very professional and knew what he was doing. I only had to drive one car and was sold on the price and millage of the car. I got a 2011 ford fusion and it drives great! Thank you for making it easy to buy my first car!!!

We had a comfortable car buying experience. We were easily able to browse several cars, some of which we took for test drives. We had all of our assistance from Paul, who was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the cars and services available. We was able to give us his professional opinions as well as facts about the cars. There wasn't any pressure to buy any vehicles. In fact, we freely left and returned with our decision one week later. The process was simple from there. This was easily the best car buying experience I've had so far. I appreciate Paul and the dealership for this experience.

Tried to call about trading in my car for another vehicle.Guy said he would not even drive into look at it.Tried to find out why and he came up with it having a few dings and stuff?Wanted to make a deal but he did not seem to want to help at all.Rest of the company may be good but my experience stunk.

I had a stress-free experience shopping for and buying my Prius at Doug Justus Auto Center. The staff was professional but laid back; I felt no pressure during the process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or buy another vehicle there. I have had my Prius now for a month and absolutely love it.

This was my first time buying a car, and Doug Justus' team were very helpful and knowledgeable. I did a lot of research, and their website was great. They update it every night, and I waited in anticipation to see if the car I wanted was still there the next day. I made sure the test drive the car vigorously, and it was in great shape. I took the car to the Toyota Dealership, and they told me the car had all original parts and was in great shape. I went to the bank, and bought the car. I'm very happy with my Toyota Prius. Thank you Doug Justus.

We drove all the way from Asheville, NC just to buy a car from Doug Justus. While searching online for cars in the surrounding area, their name kept coming up with some great options. They have a great selection of used cars and their staff is helpful and knowledgeable. It was worth the two hour drive and I'd do it again if/when the time comes to buy another car!

Found this place Googling on the internet at 3am in the morning. The day before test drove a car at another dealership, Went to this place. Usually when going to a dealership you get jumped by lots of salesmen that come out of nowhere like walkers on the walking dead. Actually walked around the place twice, Found the vehicle I liked. Took a test drive and drove it. The price was so good a bought it. I dealt with Paul Honebrink no pressure. Was looking at another vehicle that was higher price. And he told me the sun roof leaked. The sale didnt take all day. Paid with a check and was out of there. Thanks will tell other people about this dealership.

I returned to purchase my second high mileage Subaru Outback from the dealership and was not disappointed. I had done some research on their current selection and after arriving at the dealership test drove the cars I was interested in without any hassle. My boyfriend approved and we purchased a 02 Subaru Outback LL Bean addition with 177k on it. It has been a month now and no problems from the car. I am so pleased with the experience I plan on referring my friends in search of a reliable used Subaru. My first Subaru from Doug is still on the road and going strong at 200k, Mr. Novkov and his associates even pointed us to some local Subaru experts since we now own 2! I believe this is the dealership for you if you know what you want and what you are paying for!!

We enjoyed the process at Doug Justus. It was very relaxed and easy to take your time looking at the vehicles. The sales staff was readily available but did not follow too closely. We also appreciate their well-maintained website. It was very beneficial when looking for a car. We were able to shop extensively while at home then we knew exactly what we wanted to look at closer when we were at the dealer. Paul Honebrink was GREAT! He answered our questions thoroughly but was not pushy. Overall, Doug Justus has a good selection of used cars. They all appeared to be clean and in good condition. They also offer many options in an affordable price range. I have already recommended several people to shop at Doug Justus.

Bought my 3rd car from Doug Justus! They even gave us gas money for our test drive. Very professional and very nice. Always very friendly. Love that they have no sales pressure and that you can just look on your time without being bothered the whole time by a salesman. Paul Honebrink helped us with the process. He was amazing and I would recommend him to a friend. Love all three of the cars we got from there. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

This was a great experience, went on to the lot, all prices were clearly marked on the cars. We were left alone to browse (no one hounding us). We were able to look around the lot and find the ones we wanted to test drive. We test drove two Subaru's and decided on one, but it had a shake in the steering. The sales representative found a tire company right away to find out what the problem was BEFORE we purchased. Purchasing was quick and easy once it was all decided. We had no hidden cost, just tax, title, and the car..:)

I was pretty picky about my search for a certain type vehicle and today I finally found one that I like all the way around, it took me several weeks to finally find what I was looking for and wanted. This is the third vehicle we have purchased from Doug Justice. We have not had any real issues with them, one of the vehicles was bought 7-8 yrs ago and still going strong. Even though I went back several times and I was starting to get frustrated, Paul H stepped in and helped me out a lot. He was very patient and had answered any/all of my questions. Thank you Doug Justice and the biggest THANK YOU goes to Paul, you guys are the best.

We are always a bit skeptical walking onto any used car lot and Doug Justus near Tyson Airport was no different for us. We were expecting to get hassled - and we were not. We were expecting to be shown crap overpriced cars - we were not. We walked around the lot, my wife and I looking at, in and around the cars (which have the CarFaxed in the by the way) freely while we tried to narrow the possibilities. We did see sales people walking the lot and asked that we please let them know if we had any questions at all and then moved on about their business. I've read in previous reviews that some have been turned off by this approach of not being "serviced" soon enough, I loved it. We did our research and well before hand an new what we wanted. We were happy to see that Doug Jusus has much more to offer than we had allowed ourselves to hope for. Once we test drove few cars and then narrowed it down to the car we wanted, we drove it up to the Honda dealer near by and had it looked at. All check out - Drove it home soon after. The sales person Paul went above and beyond and was at the center of making our experience a good one. We were so very relieved to have had a good experience when we were not expecting to as we set out to buy a car. As with any big purchase, you must do your research. We went to the lot on a Sunday when they were closed and spent a few hours there taking notes and pictures. Took that information back home with us - researched those cars - looked at the Carfax that Justus has online and then decided which cars we wanted to test drive. There are some beat up car there but a lot a really good deals as well. Over all - Very Very Pleased - Hope this helps and happy car hunting!

My husband and I just bought our first vehicle from Doug Justus Auto Center. We were very impressed with how friendly the staff was, and even more importantly no one tried to push us into buying a vehicle if we weren't ready. Paul Honebrink was the person who helped us out, and was very professional and helpful. The price of our vehicle was fair, and it was in good condition. We will definitely consider buying another vehicle in the future from Doug Justus Auto Center.

All of the staff was very friendly upon arrival and we ended up working with Joseph Novkov. He was a very friendly and patient salesman that showed us through several cars and answered all of my questions to the best of his abilities. We found a great car at an excellent price. After we found the right car he made the buying process very easy and simple and had me on my way in no time at all. By far the best and easiest car buying experience I have ever been involved in. Next time I need a car I know where to look!

We had a great buying experience at Doug Justus in Alcoa. Having sales people (Paul, in particular) who were not stressed about making a sale so as to earn their commission was a refreshing change of pace for a used car place. Felt like we got a fair and reasonable deal on a nice vehicle and we are very satisfied with our car and our experience. DJ will be the first place I head next time I am in the market for a used car.

I recently purchased a Nissan Pathfinder from here and we had a great experience. There was absolutely no pressure from the sales staff and Paul was very helpful in the process. Don't let the slick photographs fool you. A lot of these cars are in rough shape. I seriously doubt they don't do anything to these cars after they buy them other than detail them and only do enough engine work to get the car moving. I'm sure there are some diamonds in the rough, but it's definitely a crap shoot and you get what you pay for.

Just bought our 2nd car from Doug Justus Auto in Knoxville. Joseph Novkov is my "go to" guy there. He is very professional and friendly. There is never any pressure and the cars are great and priced right. I've already recommended this dealership and salesman to several people and if I'm ever in the market for another car they will have my business again.

Woke up this morning knowing I was going to have to face the dreaded used car lot people. All I can say is I have a new out look after today. These guys are professionals and their prices are spot on. I have never been here before but we had our eye on an SUV we found online. I had my game face on and I was ready to play the game. Once my wife hit the lot she found what she wanted. It was as simple as heading down to the credit union and getting the financing taken care of after this. Why would I even try and negotiate the cost of it when they were fair on their asking price. I got a car fax in the glove box, I had zero sales pressure. A great group of friendly people helped us out. It was like going to the grocery store and buying milk. Simple. I can assure you, no one here is trying to gouge you out of your hard earned money. They want to sale you a quality car at a fair book price. You win, they win. I will pass my wonderful experience on to my co-workers and as I said I would, the rest of the online community.

Trust and confidence; these are the two things, ideally, everyone wishes they can find at a car dealership. You want to be confident in your purchase, and to trust the people who you buy from. And most people stay frustrated in this respect. However, I found both of these things at Doug Justus. I looked all over Knoxville at multiple dealerships, and I was never impressed. No one seemed to take pride in what they were selling, and what they were selling demonstrated that. As soon as I got to Doug Justus, I could tell they took pride in their cars, simply by how extremely well kept every single vehicle was. They are upfront: the prices are listed clearly, the miles and VIN is readily available on each car, as is a CarFax report, and the staff welcomes you and then leaves you to look at your leisure. To find a place that treats you so truthfully, and with such great respect, is honestly refreshing. At every point, I trusted what the salesman, Paul, was discussing with me, instilling the confidence anyone wants when making an investment like this. Buying a new car does not have to be a hassle, if you go to the right place. So, do your due diligence, but go to Doug Justus, and get ready to be satisfied.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM DOUG JUSTUS! We went to Doug Justus for a Subaru i found online. In pictures the car looked great, but in person it had a lot more outside damage. Me and my father walked around for 30 minutes with no assistance. I had to walk in side and still no one would say hello, or how can i help you. We finally got assistance to test driver the car. Tried to nogoiate on the price of the car and they would not budge. Well i bought the 2007 Subaru Forester that i looked at w/ 89000 miles at a premium price. A Doug Justus salesman told me the car was great and had all the maintenance work done (which was false). Also told me how i was getting such a great deal (with it being below KBB value). Well, three months and 2300 miles later (after buying the car), the cars engine was completely ruined and un-fixable. The dealership had no sympathy nor did they care at the fact i will have to spend an additional $2000-$4000 on this car to replace the engine. I have also read more reviews where people have had the same problem. They think its a great buy, but months even weeks later the car has major issues. Please do not be another victim!

My overall experience of Doug Justus was 1 out of 5. Here are the pros: 7/15/14 Test drove several cars w/carfax report in the glove compartment, no sales person pressuring me, customer service was great and facility was clean. Also, I purchased a car the same day. Here are the cons: When I drove off and go onto the interstate I could feel the car needed an alignment. I called the dearlership and they said I could take it to their vendor who does the alignments no cost to me. Great! Shortly there after not even 40 mins later I pulled into a gas station to full up and tried to start the car it would not! Had my BFF's mom jump start the car and it was not the battery. Thanks goodness I was not stranded out in the desert somewhere luckily I was near my BFF's home. I immediately contacted the dealership and explained what happened. I was told they would have a tow truck pick up the car the next day and take it to a repair shop in the same town the car broke down. Great! Part was ordered and would arrive the next day leaving me 2days w/o a vehicle. On 7/17/14 car was fixed and I drove to get the alignment done. After that I drove the car to my maintenance to have them do a full vehicle inspection and was told the car needs, struts, shocks, back brakes, rack & pinion total cost of $2630. I contacted Doug Justus immediately and was told well when cars have 173,000 miles on them when purchase that's expected to happen REALLY? And you purchased the car knowing AS IS! With that being said, then you knew it needed the following before you put it out on your lot! How's that fair to the consumer? If that's call being honest I hope you and your staff are able to sleep at night knowing it needed the following repairs. I understand you have a business to run but WORD of MOUTH is still the best advertisement around and can break or make your business too! MONEY/GREED is not everything! Will I recomment this to a friend ever NO! Lastly, buyers please do your research/review before buying from here and try to bring your mechanic if you choose to look/purchase!

FIRST OF ALL WE HAD A HARD TIME GETTING ANYONE TO HELP US. FINALLY GOT SOMEONE TO GET US KEYS TO SEVERAL CARS. WE ENDED UP BUYING A 2004 PATHFINDER. THOUGHT IT RAN GREAT. ON OUR WAY HOME, ABOUT 25 MINS DOWN THE ROAD THE SERVICE LIGHT CAME ON. 10 MINS AFTER THAT WE HEARD A LOUD NOISE. THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT GOING DOWN I-75. WE TRIED TO CALL THE CAR DEALERSHIP BACK, THREE TIMES THE GUY WAS BUSY AND COULDN'T TALK TO US. LET MESSAGES, NO RETURN CALL. WE HAD THAT FIXED THE TRANMISSION AND NOW REPLACED 2 SENSORS AND 4 O2 SENSORS. WE HAVE HAD PATHFINDER FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS NOW.

Car shopping for a family of 8 on a tight budget is difficult. Paul Honebrink was super helpful, honest and patient. We test drove and inspected probably 10 cars over the week , he even called when he got a new one in that fit us. He was very friendly and made the process of elimination easier for a picky mom of 6 who refuses to drive a mini van. :) Great prices for families on a budget, just take your time viewing the selections. We will definitely return in the future! Thanks for all the hard work , very happy with our purchase.

Not low pressure sales staff, NO pressure staff, and Paul was real helpful , but not pushy. Not on commission so no one hovering about pestering us. Easy and willing access to car keys to look the vehicle over, simple to take for a spin, and a minimum of time for buying paperwork. Would I go there again? if they had what I wanted - yes.

I bought a 2006 scion xb and it would not start 5 days latern I had to buy a new battery. other than that, the car is great, the customer service is great, and I am so glad I got this car! I wish they'd have told me about the battery though! (but in their defense, it is hard to tell when a battery will go dead.) recommended. :)

I purchased a 01 nissan maxima for 5900 i drove it home to ga and ran perfect for about one week. after that the car would have a hard time starting and eventually it didn't crank anymore. took it to nissan they said major ecu errors and said something the doug justus wouldve known about. sadly nissan like any other dealership quoted me 5000 to fix car that was probably worth 5k. so i was out 10k, i did not fix it with them though. but overall it was a horrible experience. it is a used car dealer so 50/50 chance but i would say stay away from doug justus especially bc i tried calling them back and at first they said they would help but then i spoke to a manager and he said forget it thats not our problem.

Cars DO NOT look like the pictures posted on their website!!!!! They make their vehicles look good but they do not show all the damaged areas. Prices too high for quality of vehicles.

My 19 year old college student purchased 2004 Mazda 6 on Jan 20,2013 for 5900 dollars.This is her first car.Drove home,40 miles,checked oil,1 quart low.Changed oil next day.Checked oil 200 miles,quart low.Took to mechanic,engine is burning oil.Needs rebuild.Mechanic said may last for awhile just keep oil full,but will get worst.It did,began smoking out tailpipe,bad.Car will barely run,and can't drive.Got to drive 2500 miles,she made 1 payment and now has a car that she can't drive.Got price on used engine installed,2500 dollars,rebuild,2500 dollars.She has put 12 quarts of oil in car since purchased. Just remember,as is no warranty.These vehicles sold have car fax papers,but this doesn't mean anything concerning a vehicle that currently has engine or mechanical issues.If you test drive a vehicle from here,plan ahead and try to take to garage and let them look it over,that probably the best u can do.This auto dealer like most just makes sure it runs and drives enough to get it sold.You have a 50/50 chance.I cant prove if this auto dealer known of problem or not,and probably never will. This mechanical issue is not something that just occurred,it existed when purchased.

We have used them twice, no pressure, all information is in the car, prices are on the car with year. Staff were very helpful and both times this place was teaming with customers. Paul, who helped us was amazing and very helpful to my daughter. They do not profess to know every vehicle and how it operates but go the extra mile to find out. One word of advise, if you really like something buy it or else it will be gone tomorrow.

The people here are extremely nice and easy to work with and the prices of the cars are good. We had a little bit of trouble with the car after we bought it, one of those things being the transmission which was not going to be an easy fix. However they were willing to work with us and fixed the transmission for free. Everything else seems okay and my mom is very happy with her "new" car.

I stopped by to check out all their awesome 'deals'. Well all the cars are awful. The car that i really wanted to look at was good on the outside for a used car and good on the inside. I opened the hood and there was a lot of rust on the engine, no coolant, and there was about 3 times as much oil in the car that was needed. I asked around and all i've heard are horror stories. My friend lives down the road from them and they happen to do a lot of test drives, well a lot of the times the cars die on her road. Also, another friend of mine, his little brother bought a car from there and it's been in the shop for the majority of it's life. Personally, I wouldn't go there and I have warned everyone I know not to go. All the cars are time bombs, don't go.

Found a car online at this dealer. Went by three times and looked at the car, finally had to go into the office and "ask" someone to show it to me. Upon driving, noticed there was a problem with the car. Never received an answer about the problem or if any repairs were made. No response to follow-up emails. Also, they do not finance, but will happily accept your cash. Go somewhere else.

The men and women at Doug Justus go above and beyond to help with the whole process of buying a car. From the ice water in a cooler on the porch to delivering your car from one lot to the lot your at. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.
