My experience at this location was top-notch. From the lot to the inside, greeted with nothing but smiles and professionalism. I was looking for a specific Wrangler and couldn't find it anywhere. Lucked up and called this location and connected with Ryan. To my surprise he told me he had exactly what I was looking for and asked if I wanted to come in to see it. I immediately went to the dealer and he was right it was exactly what I was looking for AND MORE. I HAD TO HAVE IT😊 Ryan started the process it was a pleasure dealing with him he was very informative, humorous, and assuming that I would be riding off in my new Wrangler shorty. Shortly after I was signing the deal and riding off with a huge smile. The process was quick and flawless. If you visit this location please ask for Ryan. We got a Dodge Caliber 2011 on Aug30/16 and since then we are having issues with this car. We called the dealership several times in October to get the car fixed and they NEVER returns our calls. We had to come by and demand to be helped. They took the car for "repair" and after a couple of weeks we had a new problem with this car which has not been solved yet. On top of that, we got a safety recall notice for this car.

After owning my vehicle for about three weeks, I got in one morning and the vehicle would not start. It turned out to be a bad battery which the service department replaced promptly and cheerfully. A short time later I noticed watermarks around the panoramic sun roof. They identified the problem as the seal on the rear stationary glass. They not only replaced the seal, but ordered a new headliner because of the stains on the original one. The repairs were done promptly and under warranty. I have used Dover service over the years for the certified Town and Country that I purchased through them and have always been very pleased with the quality of their work and customer service. I purchased the Pacifica through the Costco buying program which they do not participate in.

From the time I spoke with Nick on the phone to the purchase of the Jeep Renegade, was by far the most pleasurable experience. J.C.(John Castillo) was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and I believe provided the BEST lease deal. He worked hard to make sure we were happy with not only the vehicle but with the payments. Went over and beyond with his time, never felt rushed, even though they were minutes from closing and just made the whole process easy and painless. Well painless as it could be when you are spending money. Finally Eddy who handles the financial end of it, signing the papers etc. was another real pleasure to deal with. Had patience with all my questions, which he answered in detail and made sure I understood before leaving. These three employees need to be recognized for their outstanding service.

Went to purchase a new vehicle through Dover Dodge on Rt 46. I had a trade and they changed the value depending on the vehicle they were going to sell me. How can you give me a price for one vehicle and then a lower trade in price on another vehicle I was looking at? On top of that, they refused to show calculations for the vehicles I was looking to purchase. I used a calculator app and they were consistently off and would not show why. It's the same app I've used many other times with other dealerships and they were right on or +/- a few dollars. They also would not honor their trucar or USAA prices which they are supposed to be affiliated with. This coupon stated that Dover Dodge will give up to $7k off in promotions on a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They suckered us into their store! I qualify for most, if not all of the promotions. Whats worse off is im a return customer from this dealer. Then they gave me one price for a lease, then another price if it was going to be a purchase. They wanted $9-11k down for a lease on a $44k vehicle for it to be around $400 a month... (for a dodge) a BMW or Mercedes is less money down for less money a month...lol. I looked at a Jeep, Ram and Dodge Durango. All 2016 vehicles that they are supposedly trying to push off their lot for new 2017 vehicles.Shady sales tactics at this dealership!!

Instead of the typical "where you looking to be" question he spent time asking me about my wants needs and desires. Before I knew it we had picked out the right Jeep for my family. FYI it was nothing like what I had originally planned on getting or knew I even needed. BEST PART IS IT STILL CAME IN UNDER MY BUDGET!!! This is a review of our experience at Dover Dodge and specific people that helped us in the lease of a 2016 Dodge Durango R/T. I walked into the showroom after researching the group of salesmen at Dover Dodge. I was specifically looking for Will Wallace (my thinking is if I wind up with someone who is not going to accommodate my needs, it is on me, not the salesman). My two prior experiences with Dodge had been negative ones. With both instances, I had not done the research on the salespeople. Both times I had explained exactly what I was looking for and emailing my model, color and option selections and was given a form email in response. The second time was from the very same dealership where less than two years earlier I had leased another Dodge. After receiving yet Another form email, I moved on. I was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism I experienced with Will as he made every effort to find a car that would meet my requirements. Eventually, I had to settle on modifying a couple of options (not high on my list), but there was no pressure to settle on a model that did not meet my options. How refreshing! The professional experience continued with Wills boss Pete Milevski, and Ed Mendez in the finance department. All in all it was a very smooth and professional transaction. Kudos to the Dover Dodge team.Please note this is the first review I have ever written, so please believe I was impressed with Will. I also recommend to anyone that is purchasing or leasing a vehicle to do their due diligence before walking into any showroom.

Alyssa Peckham is an outstanding Representative for the dealership. She found the model car with the color and features that we wanted. Great dealership and staff. I don't usually like sales people or dealerships. They were very helpful and not pushy. Wasn't sure the exact jeep I wanted so the salesman gave me the keys to one model told me to test drive it. Got a feel for what I liked and didn't like. Told the sales man and he narrowed down the options to what he thought best fit what I wanted and could afford, handed me the keys and sent me out with a different jeep. That's all it took. After that, paperwork was a breeze. Even text me the next day to see if I had any questions.

Alyssa Peckman is so understanding, nice, patient, and never ever gets "annoyed" with your questions no matter how silly an all around wonderful sales rep. I worked with her from 9 am asking question after question that popped in my head and she always had an answer or if she did not know she would find out. The color of the car that I was interested was in another lot and by the time I got there she had it there for me to see. I never thought I would get approved with a BRAND NEW 2016 Chevrolet 200, and the car is wonderful beyond words. My first experience with dover dodge was just "okay." The person that sold me my 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport there were no incentives and every time i asked for something the answer was always "no." The first time around i purchased and was just satisfied because i had a more reliable car. I was supposed to get an Amazon gift card and never received it. This time my experience felt me fully satisfied with my decision of the car that i purchased, and all the incentives. I received a call to inform me of the deals they had going on. Lamonte Mejia spoke to be and began working on whether it would benefit me if i got a traded in my car for another vehicle. This was great because before he suggested for me to come in he searched to see if it would be beneficial. He then set me with Alyssa Peckham who was amazing beyond words ! She was very patient with the different cars she showed me. Throughout the entire process she genuinely wanted me to have a better deal and to be fully satisfied with my trade. If there were any questions that I had she quickly answered them and found solutions for me. In this experience this time around i am so happy with the vehicle that i have and actually feel completely satisfied with my purchase. I felt as in she was very interested in what worked out best for me and that was the best part of my experience. Dover Dodge/Jeep has been our go place since we started buying jeeps. J.C. is our favorite salesman and each time we purchase/lease he is the man . The entire dealership to include sales ,finance , service , and support staff are all well aware of customer satisfaction .. Over the Memorial Day Weekend , we purchased our 6th car from them , and this time it was even easier than in the past . Called J.C. , inquired about a Wrangler and what we wanted to do with our 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk. ,The options he explained were well within our plans and we said we would be up the next day . By the time we arrived , he had several cars for us to look at , picked one out and within 2hrs , Trailhawk turned in , and drove out in a 2016 Wrangler Sport Unlimited . The greatest part is everyone knows us and were on a first name basis with them all .. Dover Dodge/Jeep will be the only place we buy and service our cars

An unfortunate incident happened in March 2016 with my "certified used" fabulous purchase of my 2013 Ram 1500....(sold to me by Anthony P...an amazing salesman who has moved on)...in the end Peter did the right thing and I left with a new 2016 Ram 1500! Thank you to Joe P who is an awesome salesman and did everything right to get us in our new truck the same day. Never thought we would drive out with a NEW 2016 that looked exactly like my 2013, of course the new features in the 2016 were a bonus! In the 1st week of May 2016, I bought a 2016 Dodge Journey Crossroad (certified pre-owned for the wife) mainly because my Sales Rep Will W. was great to work with. He was very approachable, knowledgeable, and friendly. (see Will if you go here) But watch out once you go into the finance dept. as my Fin. Rep added on additional warranties that he said was mandatory (they weren't) and also raised my financing rate higher then what I already agreed on. Then he talked me out of having him fish with the other banks for the rate I was promised because it would really hurt my credit report he said.

It seemed I was rushed and not given ample time to make a decision.I tried to reached the sales person as well as the financial manager who was so arrogant, unfriendly. I tried to leave messages to call back but not a single response from neither of these guys.I was not provided a demo of the car features which could have been helpful.

I just leased my 4th Jeep Grand Cherokee with Dover Dodge and I have been very happy with the vehicle, my sales person (Kevin Zidlick) and Customer Service. I sent my son to Dover Dodge and he is leasing a Dodge Truck and my daughter is also leasing a Jeep. Kevin has always been there to help me get what I want in the budget I give him. He has never let me down. This last purchase I told him I was thinking of either a black or a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee. Because I have always owned black I started thinking that no one would know I have a new Jeep if I don't change up the color. After I got off the phone with Kevin I decided to ride by Dover Dodge to look at the colors again and what is sitting out front is a new silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with the big wheels. I said to myself that is my car. I didn't know what color I was going to choose until I got there after dinner but when I did, he had my silver Jeep Grand Cherokee all ready for me out front. I was so excited because that is the color I had decided on in the end. I could not believe he knew I was going to pick that color and had the car waiting for me. That is knowing your customer and being pro-active. I was a HAPPY CAMPER. Thank you Kevin. See you in 3 years.

After visiting several different dealers and having experiences ranging from salesmen trying to sell me the exact opposite of what I wanted, to just not listening to my needs at all .... I walked into Dover Dodge. There I met my salesman Will Wallace who completely turned my bad experiences around. Will was funny, empathetic, a great listener, and very laid back. He didn't try to talk me into anything but instead showed me a truck he thought I might like. ( I loved it!!????????) Although my soon to be truck had no blue tooth capability or navigation (which I wanted) I was still in love with it so I decided to move forward with the purchase. Get this... Even after agreeing to purchase the vehicle as is, Will, who listened to me the entire time surprised me in the end and threw in the blue tooth and navigation at no additional cost. I was extremely grateful that he cared and wanted to make me happy.The meeting with the finance manager Rob went well. He was thorough in his explanation of everything and also quite pleasant. I wanted to wait until I picked up my plates to do this review to see if I was still treated the same even after the transaction ... And guess what???? Will did it again. ????????????He saw me when I pulled up and came outside to greet me by "name". He then told me I didn't need to come in, instead he would run in and bring the plates out .. WOW!!! From beginning to end you have wowed me.You now have a customer for life as I always purchase within the DODGE family brand. I bought my car in October, Will was my salesman. I have purchased other cars from other dealers and this was by far the easiest, stress free experience I have ever had. I told him what I wanted in a car and within hours he had responded back to me with a few options, I came in on Wednesday to test drive the car and went back to buy it Saturday. Since then, if I have any questions, he has been extremely helpful in answering all of them and doing whatever he can to keep the amazing customer service going! Sales: Ramon, GREATFinance: Goldie, GREATParts: Bob, GREATService: WILL NOT WALK IN THE DOOR EVER AGAIN!!1st, been working on cars all my life, I know how they work, have rebuilt engines and trans ... know what I'm doing! Brand new Dodge Promaster 3500 van, 5000 miles, can't go more than 20mph uphills or it would die. Check engine light came in (Monday), went straight to dealer, they tried to put computer on it - tip on computer was broken so they told me to come back Wed when they had a working computer. Had to use BADLY running van for 2 days. Tues they call and say "bring it at 10AM on Wednesday". it should have been a 20 minute drive, I allowed 40, it took 60, so I arrive at 10:20AM. Check in, tell them how badly it ran and why I was late, all good. 10:35AM, van still in parking lot, I asked why and they said they'd get it in "soon", but I have a 10AM "appointment". 10:45AM I demand to see the service manager, Mark, walk him to the door, point to the van, tell him I have a 10AM appt and want to know why it's still sitting in the parking lot? His response "that is not an appt time, it's a dropoff time". WOOOO, wait a minute, since when is MY TIME LESS VALUABLE THAN YOURS??? Then he says "And, the diesel mechanic should be here any time now" ... WOOOO, wait another minute ... I have a 10AM appt and the mechanic isn't here yet at 10:45??? At 10:50 my 10AM mechanic walked in. This Mark guy is by far the RUDEST "service manager" I've ever dealt with - and I drive 30,000 miles/yr - this is my 37th brand new vehicle, I KNOW MANY service managers over the last 40 yrs!!10 minutes later it gets pulled in. At about 11:15 they call me back to see what's wrong - FACTORY DEFECTIVE DESIGN AIR INTAKE SYSTEM is what they showed me!!! Rodents got into the air intake and loaded my air filter canister with acorns and ate through my air filter. So $454 out of MY POCKET later to PAY TO FIX DAMAGE CAUSED BY DEFECTIVE DESIGN ON A BRAND NEW VEHICLE, and the RUDENESS continues! When they showed me the damage the counter-flunkie says to me "You owe us an apology". I was like REALLY??? For sitting waiting for a mechanic to arrive and telling you of my DISPLEASURE? FAT CHANCE buddy that any apology is coming your way, you should be getting a pink-slip for customer RUDENESS.So the service manager asks if I want a "rental car", not a "courtesy car", a "rental car". What's the difference - the rental car has to come back with a full tank of gas. I have NEVER heard of a car dealership not comping you a little gas - but I did put in the $3.90 of gas I used before returning it. So he asks and I say yes I need a car, he says "the guy who does that will be back in a few minutes and will help you out". 15 minutes later the counter-flunkie says "Do you want a rental car?" WHAT IS UP WITH THIS PLACE? I say "ah, the boss said he was already on this", brainchild looks at me and says "Do you want a rental car?". Then he says it's a grey Caravan and he'll bring it up (after paperwork on it done and they take my credit card and license copies - unsecurely, written on paper!!!). 5 minutes later a grey Caravan comes up and counter-flunkie gets out and just walks past me, I asked "is that ready to go?" and he says "yup, key is in it". Ah, what ever happened to "here's your car. And it's a rental so you're responsible for damage so lets walk around it and see what's up", he wasn't even going to tell me the car was mine and ready to go.So the fun continues, at around 3:30 I get a voice mail (didn't have my phone w/me when they called) and it said "This is Dover Dodge service, your car is ready, if you have any questions give us a call. We're here till 6". So no questions from me, on my way to get it.Get there and they tell me "By the way, your DEF light is on" (this is a fluid diesels use). I told him it only came on when the problem started and he said the problem may have caused it to use more fluid - at $10/gallon (that should have lasted much longer). I asked what happens if the fluid runs out and he said "you will break down on the side of the road" - and there is just a light that says LOW, not how-low, which he said deep hidden someplace I haven't seen (since the vehicle did not come with a manual) there is a screen that would tell me how-low. Then he has the NERVE to say "We tried to call you and we left you a message". WAIT BUDDY BOY - that message said "Your car is ready do you have any questions", not "your car is ready, the DEF is low so can you call and let us know if we should fill it". When I said this to him counter-flunkie with a big mouth joins in "Are you STILL going to be rude to us?". WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY??? They did not have a clue as to what I was saying ... they should have left this ADDED info on the voice mail and this could have been taken care of before I got there.Their excuse "We didn't know if you had your own DEF fluid or not", but they never asked, and a brand new van, why would I?So they were ready to let me DRIVE OUT in a vehicle they had NOT CHECKED the level on - but they told me there is a way to do it, but THEY DID NOT DO IT, and when I said "so I could drive out and break down right away?" he said "yes, that can happen". OH MY GOSH, IS THIS REALLY A CAR DEALER SERVICE SHOP or a hack in the back woods? THIS IS SHODDY WORKMANSHIP - THIS A SERVICE QUALITY RATING OF 1!!! They were READY to let me drive out with a vehicle that could die up the block, ONE IS TO HIGH A SCORE, but there is no ZERO!I paid them to fill the fluid - and watched as the mechanic heavily overflowed the fill tube pouring the probably-toxic fluid all over the side of the vehicle, and on the ground, and just left it and walked away; so tomorrow I get to go out and figure out what disgusting toxin-remover I need to use to clean up his sloppy work. Whatever happened to working with a rag when you know this will happen??NEVER AGAIN!!! Anyone know a nice-to-work-with Dodge shop not far from Sparta?And for you Promaster owners - the intake system (I have a 2015) is defectively designed. I studied automotive-design, I know these things - the front grill area has a flat top that works as a "shelf", rodents will easily find their way onto this seeking warmth and will walk along it and find the 2 large air-intake opening that are like big open-doors right at shelf-level. The other problem is that rain water and other outside elements will gather air-speed along the shelf and will be sucked into the system. Air filters are going to get clogged faster and the air intake assembly is metal so it's going to take a lot of abuse and will most like rust out much faster than it should. The air intakes should not be horizontal and looking straight-forward, there are much better ways to get the needed air flow; and, especially, air intakes MUST be "free standing", they cannot be "on a shelf" as there will be venturi's and other air and debris flow affects that will be detrimental to the life of the system.THIS DEALERSHIP OWES ME MY $454 back (I'll pay for the DEF fluid), a HUGE public apology, and had they had a working computer on Monday my vehicle probably would not have suffered as much damage as it did as it was not until Tues that it actually started dying on hills, before that it was just lights!

The day I went in was incredibly busy. However, the customer service was still on point. Will worked with me on price and was kind enough to sit through me buying a new insurance policy while at the dealership. He even went out of his way to offer me Dunkin Donuts, as I waited. Over the last 17 years I have leased and purchased 7 cars from various dealerships. My last two purchases have been from Dover Dodge. What I have learned is that there is no cookie cutter deal, dealership or sales person. Most recently I had the pleasure to work with Anthony Petrullo. He stayed late to assist me when my first sales person had another customer so I didnt have to wait. Anthony took my wants and needs seriously and found the perfect car for me (bells, whistles, and practical). I was able to trade in my current vehicle a whole year before most dealerships would consider a trade-in and upgrade the type and style of vehicle. What I loved the most about my experience with this dealership is that there is no pressure to sign an agreement you are not ready for. At the end of the day I am very happy with my vehicle, service plan and warranty. Thank you Anthony and the rest of the Dover Dodge team!

I had the worse experience here. Purchased a new Chrysler 200 - not only did they lie about the payment. Contracts were printed 3 times and had to be resigned. The payment that we agreed the 3rd contract had a higher payment amount. Get it together people!!!! It took 3 weeks for me to get a second key.......And to boot - asked the dealership why I never received a packet from the bank and no response - well guess what, payment is due today so I have to be inconvenienced to call the bank and gather all the information to make the payment that the dealership who made the sale should've helped with. Very lazy and definitely not motivated individuals!!!Sorry I will not recommend or purchase other vehicle here!!!!

First person to greet me explained the end of month sale they had. turned me over to Ramon Diaz. he I told him what i was looking for, to do? he showed me the truck that met my needs. The dealer is probably above average. But need to be careful of some things. After you agree on price look carefully at the contract. They are very sneaky in adding "Other Aftermarkets" for $232.00 which is for the glass etchng. Check with your insurance company to see if they discount your auto insurance. If not do not buy it. Tell them to remove it. Also there processing fees are higher than most dealers. Registration fees $399. You can get some money back if it costs them less so remember to check the price after you get your plates. Clerical expense is $256 and Document delivery is $82. So make sure you add these fees to the car cost. For example if another dealers changes $138 for docs you just paid $200 more for your car. Next item is extended warranties. Note they DO NOT sell Mopar factory warranties. They sell third party from a company called Fidelity Warranty Services. They can deal on the price so whatever they offer you (~$1800 for the 7 year platinum plan) offer less. You can also buy it after you leave the dealer but if you are financing the car they will add it to the total price so it is financed. I would recommend going outside and getting actual Chrysler corporation insurance. You can buy it from an online dealer at excellent prices at chryslerfactoryplans.com. If you need to finance it, get a price online and then offer that (even though it will be Fidelity and not Chryler. Armed with this information you should be a better buyer at this dealer. Remember all dealers do this stuff so you should still buy a car from Dover if they have what you want at your prioce

After many, many years of disappointing car dealerships, I have finally found one that I can honestly say I will go back to. This dealership is hands down the best one I've been to. There is not even a close second. The process of buying a vehicle has always been negative, as I am aware of the many tricks that most car dealerships try to pull. This dealership has eased these worries. In particular, Nick Jaroff was very professional, had excellent communication skills, helped me with any questions I had and really put to rest any anxiety I had during this process. After having my 2014 Jeep Cherokee bought back buy Chrysler because of the Lemon Law, I was sceptacl about getting into another Chrysler product. Joe Ponzio took me on a few test drives of different models. After I drove the Durango I had him run some numbers on it. When those numbers came back better than expected, I signed for the truck that night. I came back the next night to pick up the vehicle on tight time schedule and he had all the paperwork ready to go and got me out of the dealership very fast.

Buying a car is never easy especially since you have to "jump out of a bunch of money"... At Dover Dodge we've met Jack and he made "the process" smooth and swift. Even though due to a specificity of our work we had to be back and forth at the dealership he was quite patient and we didn't feel a pressure to make any promises nor he tried to "pull" some money for a deposit on car we expected to get, the thing that many dealers would do to you when you trying to say "I'll be back...". Instead whole process was based on , so to speak, mutual trust and I am sure it affected our final decision to "go ahead" with a purchase then and there. What distinguished Jack from other salesmen we've met through the years ( it was our 3rd brand new car not to mention used b4 that) was that after actual purchase he did not make us feel like all of the sudden we are not welcomed anymore. He helped us all the way till we were ready to leave with the car. Also the next day when we had to work out some insurance issues (due to financial agreement details we finally had to purchase a different one from what we had) he did what he could to be helpful. PSI think it is worth to mention that at the time of signing up all the paperwork , Mr. Eddie from finance dept. patiently helped us to understand all additions to a standard deal and worked with us on some details so we could for example adjust extended warranty to our needs (yearly mileage) what lowered its actual cost.

Now, I have left countless emails and messages to 4 people--and have yet to get any response.I purchased a certified pre-owned car, and my brakes are bad. Bought a Brand New Jeep Cherokee 2014 from Dover Dodge and Jeep, WORST MISTAKE EVER! Since I drove it off the lot the windshield fluid pump/motor was non functional, so I'm not able to clean off my windshield. I took the car in for service thinking it was a quick, easy fix, after all it is a brand new car, but that was not the case. Long story short, It's 3 weeks later and 2 service appointments later, countless phone calls, and still not motor... apparently it's on back order nationwide. Tried calling the dealership to ask about options regarding the above matter, they said they cant do anything that the car is under warranty. So here I am, still driving a car that is supposed to be NEW but is not functional and not safe to drive, and no one at the dealership gives a crap. On top of that I received a bill from the bank for excessive wear and tear for $747, which was supposed to be forgiven by Dover Jeep as an incentive for trading in my old Jeep for a new one and now they DON'T want to have anything to do with that and are telling me that I'm responsible to pay. They have stopped returning calls and never pick up their phone! The only way I was able to speak with someone there was when I filed a complaint through JEEP (the actual company) and they called the dealership and got them on the phone for me. So DON'T waist your time or money, Go somewhere else. The worst dealership by far with rude, arrogant, careless sales people and managers is DOVER DODGE AND JEEP!!!!

After a frustrating day visiting other dealerships including one that employs a brazen bait and switch internet pricing ploy to get customers, came with my family looking to purchase a reliable used Jeep Cherokee model for our son, who is moving out of state soon. Was greeted warmly by J.C. who proceeded to walk us to vehicles that might fit the bill and in our price range. J.C. expertly demonstrated the key features of the model we ended up purchasing - and knew the history of the vehicle because it was a previous client of his who had just traded it in. The test drive was enjoyable - we put vehicle through it's paces unaccompanied which allowed us unfettered access and time to decide if this model was for us. Price negotiation was fair and above board - no hidden mark ups, no extended offer/counteroffer rounds. And Dover Dodge took a personal check - no bank check and time delays in transaction. From walk-in to drive away took about 2.5 hours. Everyone was polite, professional and friendly and made the experience a positive one for our family.

Had to file claim on ebay to get refund. lousy customer service, will never buy from these guys again. Check their ebay feedback, many negatives about their service and business practices. I took car to have a problem checked. Went to answer cell phone outside. I came back in and help was taken off of lift. I told them to start repairs and they were very rude. I took jeep and found lug nut cover missing. Was told they would have to have customers take their own wheels off because of my complaint. They refused to replace as I would have to pay. They stated it was rusted and fell off. They refused to look to see if mechanic forgot to put on. I will never have them repair my jeep again. They need to to take a class in customer service.

I recently visited this dealership for my second new car purchase. 6 years ago I purchased a brand new Ram 1500 and had nothing but great things to say about the truck and the dealership. they knew their vehicle and the features offered and they wanted to sell their stock. So when it came time to move onto a new vehicle Dover Dodge was the logical choice. Or so I thought. Overall the initial experience was great. Then it came time for "the numbers". Well they came to the table and offered me about $7,000 less for my trade than a local ford dealer had and also came off the sticker about 4,000 dollars less than the same ford dealer. That is a $11,000 difference. I truthfully am a dodge man and wanted to give them the chance to compete so I told them what ford was offering. They not so kindly responded to me by saying "Enjoy your new ford", got up from the table and left me sitting at the desk. My fiance and I were completely dumbfounded. Now this was't a basic salesman. This was a manager. This account is the sole reason i went out the following day and purchased a brand new F-150. I know this seems drastic as there are other dealerships but any manufactuerer that allows this kind of "customer service" is not one I am going to support. And just so you know guys.... I am enjoying my new ford... Especially with the extra cash in my pocket that you didn't rip me off for.

This was the 3rd dealership i had visited that day. I was looking to trade in my FWD Escape for an AWD/4WD Vehicle. After a bad experience at dealership #2 my husband was done for the day. I pushed him for just one more place. When you first walk in, Larissa is sitting right in front with a smile, and a VERY pleasant personality, already making you feel comfortable. I was lucky to sit with JC. As a female going to buy a car, there are still those dealers, that treat you like an uneducated woman. With the dreadful first question of "which color do you want?" I HATE THAT!!! I did not feel that way here. I was treated with respect. I told JC what i wanted, and what i had to work with. He was awesome, never once gave me that, you need to meet me halfway, He worked his magic, and got me into a 2013 AWD Dodge. Never once told me my demands were unrealistic.Goldie in finance was great as well, and i was not easy to work with. He was as patient has can be. I could not get over the honesty from them as well. My overall experience was awesome! I trade in cars often, so i know my way around a dealership, and the art of deal making. Dover Dodge was GREAT! I am so happy with my Dodge purchase as well. I entered the dealership which a budget and some MUSTS for vehicle I wanted. We discussed the pros and cons for getting a used car, but after speaking with John and Pete we realized leasing a new 2013 Durango would be a great option for me.I have never leased a car before, so I had a lot of questions. John and Pete answered all my questions, made me feel very comfortable with no pressure. They were able to put me in a beautiful new car within my budget. I read so much good about the Jeep Grand Cherokee, I decided to have a look. I have always had sedans; never drove an SUV. Both of my sons have SUVs. They constantly telling me, how much better to drive an SUV than a sedan for various reasons.Few years ago we saw Dover Dodge moving into the neighbourhood what looked like as a very impressive dealership. I drive by them almost daily. So we finally decided to replace my three year old Malibu that was too small for us with an SUV. I did a lot of research on the internet. I found that the 2014 GC was available with terrific features. Based on the wealth of information available on the internet I narrowed the automobile I wanted to buy to the Limited with Luxury group II. We decided on the colors - white on the outside and beige on the inside.For many days I was watching the available inventory on the Jeep website. Finally one with the exact features was available at another dealer lot.So I visited Dover Dodge. Eddie the salesman was extremely helpful. On the first visit I test drove a GC. He even let me take the car all by myself. I wanted to see if I can fit it into the garage. I came back a second time with the wife and I test drove the GC. I also tried a 300. I liked the GC better.So after a few days we went back to close the deal. Eddie was very helpful, he gave us a good deal, answered all our question; we never felt pressured.So now we own a great car, very happy with it.Steve

I was not satisfied with service. Have had the truck less than a year. Brought it in because it would not turn off even when the key was taken out. Was told the sunroof was leaking and it damaged the computer system. Was then told that it wasn't covered under warranty and would have to pay $1100. I called Pete M. who sold me the truck and left a couple of messages and to date haven't even received a curtousey call back.

Came to the dealership yesterday (wednesday august 7)to look at cars and prices. Jason Schultz brought me inside to discuss cars. He asked me if I am one of those spoiled women that need leather heated seats with a sunroof. My reply was "I amNot spoiled. I personally don't like leather seats because they are coldIn the winter and hot and sticky in the summer and you don't need heated seats with cloth. But I do like a sunroof" he went back to talk with the manager. The manager came back and Jason said "you know your in trouble when the manager comes out". The manager looked at me and basically said that if I don't like anything they have, I can leave. Didn't even discuss options and car ideas. Felt like he was telling me "screw you" I will never go there again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about how I was treated!!!!

He gave me a fair value for my truck so I took the trade in offer. They did the paperwork and I was on my way with my 2012 Ford E250. We met with kevin on day 1, for a used dodge ram, trade in our exisiting ram. The quotes that were given to us we incorrect and when we brought it to his attention he became he very defensive and impossible that the number were off that much. With the trade in we were going to fiannce $16,000 w/ 5/9% for 60 mths and we were told it was $453.00 and it really should have been $309.25 and he argued that the payment calculators were incorrect. He didn't know anything about the used vehicle.Day 2 Kevin called us back and that we were correct on the dollar amounts that were off. We changed our mind and were discussing a different vehicle a New Ram. He quoted us $30,050 and said it included tax, doc & motor vehicle with int of 3.9% so we agreed on the deal. When we went to the dealership to sign the papers in finance i was upset when the total cost was not what Kevin stated, we asked him about it and he denied what he told us. When we signed the paperwork, he shook our hands and said thanks for your business and said to make sure we take the survey and give him a 10. Really????Overall the customerr experience was poor, we were never walked through the features of the vehicle, just handed the keys.This was the 2nd vehicle we purchased from Dover Dodge and will be our last.

Not only do we love the dealership, but I personally love the Service Department as well!Our 2005 Chrysler Van was soon to be nine years old. This was the second time in a little less than 2 years in which we purchased a new Jeep with John Castillo as our sales rep and would highly recommend him to others. When we pulled into the dealership this second time around, he recognized us and immediately came out to greet us. As always, he was extremely courteous and took great care of us. With his help and expertise, we were able to take my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and trade it in for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited which I absolutely love. What was pitched: more rebates with a new vehicle than used. Customer loyalty discounts (this is my 10th vehicle) thru Dover Dodge andMemorial Day savings. I presented $500 card (mailed to me by dealership) while I was there, was told it's not worth anything. 22 months ago I purchased from Dover a 2011 Jeep Patriot. The day of my visit it had 38,800 miles on the engine...The trade was for only 13,000...so I was way upside down...Paperwork doesn't itemize, deduct or reflect said "rebates, customer loyalty discounts or holiday savings" as advertised..After choosing a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, as I said..no rebates, customer loyalty or holidays savings were actually deducted or reflected on bottom line..However, Steve, GM did "throw in" a bedliner and soft cover which, when available for install, he also offered a car for me me to use the day of installation. Steve... You rock....Ken, you're as crazy as me....I guess what I want to say is, yes I'll be back for my next purchase....but when rebates, holiday sales, etc. are offered to a customer...show it in writing on the bottom line...so the customer "feels" like we're actually being offered the things that are being advertised...Love you guys...see you soon..

I purchased a 2007 Jeep Compass from Dover Dodge through Pete Milevski and since then several members of my family and a few friends have purchased vehicles from him. Service is great. This dealership has very low turn over as I have been dealing with the same sales person and service managers (Joe and Tom) for six years and they always take good care of me. Yes, you do pay more for service at a dealership but it's always done right and they go above and beyond on customer satisfaction. My last visit was an unscheduled emergency, they took me right in and completed the work the same day. As for sales, I just ordered a 2013 Dodge Charge through Pete. It's always a pleasant straight-forward experience working with him. I could have purchased any other brand, but specifically chose a Chrysler product because of this dealership. I can't say enough great things about them.

I just want to express my gratitude for the swift and professional service I recently received. I developed a problem that made me Leary about driving my truck. I dropped my vehicle off with no appointment, explained my problem and given the urgency and the weather I didnt expect to get my truck back for at least 4 days due to the fact that I had no appointment and a blizzard was approaching as well as the week end. Was I surprised when I got a call the very next day that all was done and also covered under warranty.

I have been working with the entire service staff at Dover Dodge for years now. Recently I had some warranty work done on my vehicle. Joe and Eric Bozzi could not have been more professional and helpful. I have had opportunities to go to other dealers for service but would'nt dream of going anywhere else. The entire team at service is wonderful.

My 2007 has never been anywhere but the dealership for service. Years ago, bad experiences with another dealership brought me to Dover. The customer service is great. Being a woman, it was my experience at another dealership that car repair was apparently too hard for me to understand and I got lousy service. At Dover, customer service does not stop after the sale. It was a small thing the parts department did that brought me here and the constant excellent service that keeps me here and recommending the place to friends and family. I plan on buying another car early this year and will be back.

Tom and the service crew went above and beyond on this visit. They not only diagnosed and repaired what needed to be fixed, they set me up with a punch list of items to be proactively serviced in the months ahead, based upon the mechanic's experience as opposed to those mindless bloated service plan. Tom and the guys earned my trust and I don't dole that out without good reason. I'm not a individual who likes to write reviews. I honestly prefer being a grouchy pain in the butt. I figure I owe them a shout-out for being factory certified professions that not only flawlessly fixed what was wrong with my vehicle, they went out of their way to explain what to take care of next and why it needs to be looked at. They'll be seeing my scowling face in January, when they take a look at my rear brakes.

I had a very good experience with this dealership. I was given a test drive and all questions were answered fully. I picked up my new car about a week ago and today I went in to have my plates put on. Usually I am waiting weeks for the plates and have to call.

Very scary experience, sad to say but someone that is not as careful probably bought the Ram 1500 that I almost bought. After looking at several 1500's I found a low mile truck that looked relatively clean. When I started it, it seemed to idle high longer than it should have. I questioned it and was told they would bring it to the shop and hook it up to the computer and see what was up. Great! I called back the next morning to see what codes popped up and was told none. I asked them (Larry) to put in writting that if and when I take it to another shop and they find that the codes were reset they would take the truck back. At that point, I was told by the used car sales manager (Larry) that I should be more trusting. Clear your eyes from tears you have from laughing so hard because this is the best part. They agreed to let me bring the truck to get looked at which I did. There were 3 codes that were not ready yet. They could have easily explained them by telling me they needed to disconnect the battery for service or the battery died and they needed to jump start the truck etc... They choose to say they didnt see anything. In my mind that means they cleared codes. I wish I lived in a world that I could trust people Larry but unfortunately we do not. Be informed and careful! I do feel bad for Eddie the sales guy he was very friendly and lacked the steriotypical used car salesmanship that was overflowing in the rest of the building

Although they didn't have a truck that I was interested in on the lot, they had an "inventory specialist" work with me to find the Ram 1500 that I wanted. The dealing went rather smoothly, although they spoke quickly and I got a little lost in the numbers (probably a sales tactic). After signing initial papers, they had the truck delivered from another dealership quickly, and I was driving off the lot a few days later. Overall, a very good experience, though they seem a little "over-eager" to make a sale....the inventory specialist asked "what will it take to get you into this truck" which has always seemed a little desperate to me. Either way, I am happy with the transaction and experience.

I struggle to find the words to begin to describe how incompetent this service department is. I took my brand new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee purchased through DOVER Dodge to have a trailer hitch and wiring harness installed. Several scratches and nicks we sustained on the body of the vehicle, if I choose to have these damages properly repaired it would cost hundreds, also resulting in a likelihood of future problems due to the fact that paint is never as strong as the factory coat. The wiring harness hacked and installed incorrectly routing the harness on top of safety critical emergency braking cabling, to the wrong side of vehicle and then under both the drive train and the exhaust. The connections made to the wiring in the front of the jeep were not done in accordance with the install procedures. A wire that was suppose to be run inside the vehicle was just and left exposed. Harness was not properly secured to vehicle. I took the car in the next day after documenting all the issues I discovered from them working on a vehicle purchased less than 30 days ago, with nothing wrong with it. The Service Technician Brain Z came out to inspect the issues that I raised. I informed him I would like to see the splice connections that were made underneath the TIPM (fuse box in engine compartment) he then proceded to pull the TIPM without first disconnecting the battery (which is commonly the first step in any procedure involving electrical components on vehicle) as he rotated the TIPM to inspect the splices he shorted the main power rail of the TIPM to the chassis resulting in sparks, cosmetic damage to the TIPM power rail. He then reattached the TIPM to the retaining clips and agreed to give me my money back for the work that was done on the vehicle. After refunding the money I was ready to leave in absolute disgust of how this whole experience I had observed only to find out my car would no longer start and showed no signs of life Mind you this is a brand new 35k car. Needless to say I was beyond mad, I was given a free rental car while the incompetent technicians had to gut another 2011 jeep to get the main fuse block to replace the one they had blown in mine. If I had any idea how absolutely horrifying this experience was I would have NEVER PURCHASED A CAR FROM DOVER DODGE with this caliber of service department.

WOW, Do not take your new car for service here. They broke more than they fixed. Also when buying a new car be carful they like to add in things without telling you (warrany's insurance etc.) and it adds up to severl hundred dollars. Look over your purchase agreement very carfully or go some place you can trust.

I came to the Dover Dodge knowing what I wanted and familiar with the inventory available as posted online. The sales person was excellent. I told him what I wanted (I did not mention my review of the inventory) and he showed me what was available which were the vehicles I had noted plus another recent arrival which was not online yet. The best match for us was a little more than we wanted to pay. The sale guy worked with the price...no hassle, no drama, no BS. Told me to come back in an hour and everything would be ready to go. I couldn't get a babysitter so we came back in 2 1/2 hours with our newborn. Asked if we can finish the deal and leave. Nothing but BS from there. 2 hours later I told them I had to go and to call me when they had their act together. Finally after many apologies they were able to close.The sales guys are great, get a firm time for the finance guys and be prepared to get nasty when they have no respect for your time or forget how to use a phone.

I called to ask about one of their cars and the salesman asked me to call him back. when i did the nasty receptionist said, wow you have an annoying voice! well, I'm sorry I was going to buy a car here but not now! When I spoke to Joe Hanson about the way his receptionist spoke to me he couldn't care less, didn't even apologize! I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

If there were 0 stars, then that' s how I would rate this place. Buyers beware!!!! If you are even considering a dodge then beware period! But to buy from this place!!!??? Dover Dodge has a beautiful sales area... But then you buy the car you want, it starts to fall apart and then everything else unravels!!! The service area looks like something out of silent hill... All besheveled and disgusting... Then you try to get serviced by that crappy service package they sell you and it all goes to hell. You have to deal with an offensive guy by the name of Joe in service... What a piece of crap as a service guy and a human being... I have never met anyone any more miserable than this guy! And it's not like I dealt with him once so I'm flashing my opinion, it was several times and each time as horrible as the last. Then you try to complain about the horrible service and the manager is not any better... Then you get some bogus bill and they don't give you the car back until they have your money... Just to give you a scenario, I took my new car in that is falling to pieces and they tell me that I need new front brakes and it would cost me 250 bucks to change the brakes. I have done brakes myself and a new set of brakes cost roughly $50 for the pair and take about 15 minutes to do. They had the nerve to tell me it took them 1 hour to check out the brakes(which I told them not to do) and then they tell me that diagnostics on the brakes cost me $96 plus tax!!!! This place is a joke, do not go here!!!! My car is not even 3 years old and is falling apart. I have taken this back to Dover dodge to get repaired 4 times in the past 7 months and have gotten wrong things fixed and nothing but headaches and a bill afterwards, even though I had a service contract! Definitely beware if you plan on buying here.... This place is filled with scam artists and technicians that are dishonest! The only thing that is pleasing here is the sales person that is willing to sucker you into a sale!

I bought my first new car from this dealer. I went there with intentions to finance but the salesman switched me to a lease making it more appealing.We settled the deal, but when i went to the finance office, the first thing the finance guy says is "how are you going to be taking care of the taxes?" Me being 21 at the time didnt realize what was going on, nor did my parents whom were with me. We thought the taxes were included in the payment we agreed on. Wich im sure they were now but they decided to go for a homerun. So after jamming us with the 1200 in taxes i come to find out 3 years later after paying off my lease that they also Jammed a service contract in to for $500. I later came to find out this service contract or extended warranty was useless because i leased the truck for 36 months, and it was covered under full warranty during this period anyway. When i called to speak to the finance guy, whom is still there by the way, he refused to refund my 500. I ended up writing a letter to the dealer principal explaing the situation and stating that i would be writing to the NJ State Attourney General. 2 weeks later i had a check mailed to my house for the full amount. Becareful when dealing with this sleezy finance guy who makes his money on ripping honest people off.

Joe Kelly in internet sales was helpful and easy to deal with. Gary in finance, on the other hand, is the standard "finance guy from the netherworld". Would not take "no" for an answer on dealer's lenders (as opposed to one we had already arranged), several fees on purchase order that had not been mentioned previously, etc. Finally had to leave, breaking the deal. Deal was recovered the next day, to my satisfaction. But then they had problems with our outside financing. They would not release the vehicle without a personal check held as backup for the payment on the deal, as they were not satisfied with the various faxes confirming the arrangement from my lender. Complete pain. Avoid where possible.
