I must say that my experience with Duran Auto was excellent. Dominic was very helpful with the whole buying process. And Andre made sure my car was 100%. I drove out with my car on the same day. I would definitely recommend Duran Auto. Best Experience.

Duran and his staff are always professional and honest. Does the job rite the first time. Explains what parts are defective and why they change them and does all preventive work while repairing vehicle. Been coming here many years now. Wont take my cars anywhere else.

This is a dealership which aims to please. I cannot say enough about their customer service and ability to make the car buying process painless. My mechanic, my insurance agent, myself could not have been less inconvenienced. Andre was there every step of the way. This is truly a family owned business that can be proud to have their name attached! I had been without a car for 5 months, but after searching in Westchester found nothing. Within 3 days I viewed, inspected and owned a car from Duran. Thank you!

I rely on my vehicle, so my mechanic is my extended family. Thank you to Andre and Mario who came highly recommended well over 15 years ago .I have high mileage on all of my cars, and was getting eaten alive by check engine lights where commercial shops were taking my $$ but not getting rid of the light. Andre taught me to be patient, not to over react. I want to take good care of the vehicles so he helped me with this goal. He ensured my own safety insisting on periodic safety checks. It's the right thing to do.The Duran family is genuine, has old school work ethics and it appears to me that workers in the shop love what they do. I enjoy watching them work together. I have put 440,000 miles on my current car and because of Duran, hope to keep it going longer. It is no coincidence that Duran has a loyal following. I drive from Poughkeepsie to the Bronx for car care.

Online shopping for a used vehicle is a job in itself. Was looking to spend around $5000 and I know thats not a lot of money but thats all I could afford at the time. Looked for months. Didnt even know exactly what I wanted. Confused and frustrated was an understatement. Plugged in my zip code to CARS.com and was hoping they would be my savior. The first few dealerships that popped up didnt really have anything in my price budget...until Duran Auto popped up. They had 4 vehicles in my range. After extensively reading all their incredible reviews, I knew at that point I must go see them and hope that they meet all the "hype". Well long story short. YES YES YES!!! I driving my awesome 2007 Honda Civic and let me tell you...I Love my car..loved the dealership and especially loved the staff. HONEST AND FAIR is all I can say at the end of the day. Good luck future car shoppers and hope this review will steer you in their direction because Im so glad I did!!!

I recently bought a 2007 Toyota Camry Solara from them after my wife's dad recommended this dealership and I'm extremely happy I did! They gave me a fair price for my trade in and were honest with me about the car they sold me- no surprises. I drove all the way from Virginia to the Bronx based on my dad's recommendation and I can say it was worth it. This is a father-son business and one of the last few honest used car dealerships around. The owners seem to care more about keeping their customers happy and maintaining their good reputation than screwing over potential customers for short term gain. I would absolutely buy from them again, although given how great the car they sold me is, I may not need to for a long, long time.

Been buying cars from Andre for years and years. So, when a student of mine gets his license and asks, "Where can I get a car?" I suggest Andre because I know he will be treated as if he were their own by Andre and those at Duran Auto. Within 24 hours student purchased a Nissan Altima, had it on the road and drove it to school! The attention given this young man is why I continue to do business with Duran Auto. I've been taking my time with the car-buying process. I had an awful experience with my first used car so the one thing I wanted to make sure was that I was getting something that wasn't going to give me any trouble for a long time. I spent over three months going to a bunch of different dealers and narrowly missing some awful situations (body damage, unlisted repairs, flooded cars). Duran Auto was a phenomenal experience. I was in and out within a couple of days, they never pressured me to do anything, they took care of me from a customer standpoint, and best of all, they take pride in the quality of their work. I cannot emphasize it enough - even if you do not buy from them, buy from someone who takes pride in putting their name on the product. They sell good cars and provide trustworthy service (which I verified with my mechanic). I'll be back soon for routine maintenance, and I'll be recommending them to anyone who asks for a used car dealer.

Back again. My son just turned 20 and I decided he needed to grow up and go through the car buying process on his own. I couldnt think of a better place to bring him other then Duran Auto in the Bronx. I bought my 2009 Honda Fit at Duran back in 2013 and I couldnt be any happier or more satisfied with the car, their service and their staff. My son Dylan just got a full time job at UPS and I was tired of him using my car to go to work. Once he looked at the Duran inventory, of course he picked out the most expensive car which was a Lexus. Once he sat down with Jay the finance manager, he was convinced that one has to be realistic and buy a car that meets one budget. Jay spent hours on explaining how the buying and financing process works. Long story short, my son bought a beautiful 2012 Honda Accord with only 32,000 miles. He can afford the payments with ease and he loves the car. I cant believe he has a nicer car then I do! The reason I'm writing this review is because this place really cares and its not all about making a profit or selling a car. I know my son was not going to be taken advantage of and he was definitely guided in the right direction.

I went to the dealership a bit stressed out because I had an old car, which was falling apart and I wasn't altogether sure what I could qualify for. Jay very patiently searched for finance options, a good safe car and explained the ins and outs completely, until I was able to purchase a vehicle within my budget. I LOVE this car! The entire staff is terrific. I will be going to Duran for all repair and maintenance as well. Your search is over for honest and quality auto service. ( I may have accidentally written this review twice because I did not see it on the list when I did it the first time but I would say the same thing 100 times)

Every single one of these reviews are spot on! I was very concerned about being able to purchase a car because mine was falling apart and I was not sure what I would qualify for. Jay was exceedingly patient and helpful and made the process completely painless and stress free. The rest of the staff were all pleasant and welcoming as well. This is the location where I will have all of my repairs and maintenance done for the vehicle as well. Thanks so much guys!

Duran Auto Inc. Was absolutely Amazing. The service is excellent, The cars are clean and run great. I was treated like family, I felt very comfortable working with Jay and Andre. They really know how to make buying a car a much easier process. My Subaru forester runs great and I am so happy that I went to Duran Auto Inc for my first car. I Would tell anyone looking for a car to go check out this place!!!!!!!!!! Their service center is Great too; I will be going to them for all things pertaining to my car.

Duran Auto is absolutely, hands down the best. I have purchased two cars from them, and have not yet been disappointed. I bought a house on Long Island a year ago, and drive all the way back to the Bronx for any repairs and/or to buy a vehicle. Why...because their customer service is impeccable, and their vehicles are superb. They are the best Auto Dealership, this side of the East Coast, hands down! My phone is not cooperating with me, and is why I put "not applicable" for Buying Process, Quality of Repairs and Facilities. Needless to say, those categories also get a 5 star rating from me.

MY EXPERIENCE AT DURAN AUTO WAS REALLY GREAT. THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND I DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES. I WAS APPROVED FOR A CAR LOAN IMMEDIATELY AND THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR. I'M STATIC AND THRILLED WITH MY NEW CAR AND THEY TREATED ME LIKE FAMILY. I WILL ALSO BE THERE FOR ANY MECHANICAL REPAIRS IN THE FUTURE.

Who cares about the facility. The guys were great and honest. I was looking for a used car for my son who just graduated college. I was allowed to take the car up to my mechanic to inspect fifteen miles away. Then Duran repaired everything, new Tires, brakes rotors wheel bearings all at no cost to me, that my mech noted without question. Then I was allowed to drive the car back to my mech to confirm. I kept the car at my home and the owner/mgr dropped off the plates. Unbelievable!

I have been a loyal cuscustomer of Duran Auto inc. for about 6/7 years... The owner Andre is very knowledgable about a wide variety of cars and jeeps. The quality of the repairs made to my vehicles have always been of the highest quality parts and excellent service. The repair we done right and I never had a complaint. I highly recommend Duran Auto to all my family & friends and bring there cars to Durans for repairs as well... In addition, I have punched 4 vehicles from its dealership for both family and myself and never had a complaint. I have had many mechanics service my cars prior to Duran but none of the throughly inspected my car to ensure my safety no matter the repair and let me know what needs to be repaired.

They were very understanding with my many questions regarding buying a used car. They always returned my calls. My car was breaking down after years of abuse from me and I needed something fast. I found a little Hyundai Accent coupe on cars.com at Duran Auto and I went to go see it. The location seemed a little sketchy at first but the owner was super nice and even the finance guy who I immediately didn't like on the phone, turned out to be super nice too. He's just grumpy lol. I bought this car from them a year ago and I've got to say, I haven't had to put any work into it. It's over a decade old, not very nice, very utilitarian. No frills. But it's been super reliable and that's what I needed. I would absolutely recommend Duran Auto.

My 1992 honda was serviced at Durans over the past several years, and I did not want to invest in more maintainence on it. I was debating over the past six months about getting another car. Andre and Jay,and Mr. Mario were extremely patient as I shopped looking at several different cars and test driving them as well, but was not prepared to purchase. I kept checking in looking at the inventory and I finally was prepared to select a vehicle in my price range. They arranged financing and the other needed paperwork required to complete the deal. I appreciate the effort taken with me, I am no easy sale. There was no pressure but I felt comfortable. Thanks guys.

Dealt with Jay to purchase a minivan before my wife gave birth later in the month. I searched various dealers and they did not honor what was advertised. It wasn't till going to Duran Auto that me and my wife felt confident that we were making a good purchase on a reliable family car. Jay was also very helpful in making sure we were approved for an auto loan. He showed us the car fax. It's a month we have had this minivan and it's still running as it did when I drove it off the lot.

I was referred to Andre by a long-time preferred client of theirs and a great friend of mines. My financial situation was tenuous to say the least but I was treated with the utmost respect and Andre and Jay, the finance manager, did everything in their power to put me into a reliable and safe vehicle. I explained my situation and they worked tirelessly with me to purchase a vehicle at a price I could afford. Andre even steered me away from a vehicle I wanted and Jay placed me in the vehicle I needed. They are customer-service oriented and not obsessed with the "sale" which in this day and age is a rarity. I was referred to Duran Auto by a colleague who bought a car from them many years ago. I was looking for a second vehicle that would basically get me too and from work, with minimum to no maintenance. I first met with Andre and he understood immediately my ignorance as it relates to buying cars. He made me feel like I really knew what I was talking about, and offered me a great deal on a Honda Civic. After meeting with Jay to do the financial paperwork, our conversation made it crystal and clear by the time I signed on the dotted line on what I was purchasing. Not to mention, Andre, Jay and I are all December babies...Sagittarius totally Rock! Thanks Duran Auto for making my first time (by myself) buying a vehicle experience AWESOME! Seen a Toyota Camry online and was a bit sceptical on driving down to the Bronx to take a look at it. The pictures looked great and the Carfax was perfect. Looked to good to be true so I decided to take a shot and drive down. Once I arrived to Duran Auto, I was greeted by an older gentleman named Mario(aka my new best friend). He was happy to show me the car and insisted that I take it for a ride. I was so glad I did because it truly drove like a new car. At this point I was ready to deal. Mario then introduced me to Jay the finance manager and he was a pleasure to deal with. He helped me with financing and an extended warranty. I couldn't have been happier with the entire transaction. While I was there I met a few of their customers and they had all great things to say about them. I can believe I found a place like this. Very honest and fair. Mario promised me a bottle of his homemade wine and I can't believe he came through and I just picked it up today...love this place!!!!

Straight forward and no games is what I like about Duran auto... Some people need someone to check with when it comes to cars, whether buying or fixing it, Why not just deal directly from the guy that you trust. I have brought 4 cars from Duran. They have something for everyone whether it's your primary vehicle or commuter car.. I have brought them both from here. I been to other places and frankly, it's not easy to find a person who you can trust.

Had a great experience purchasing a used car from them. It was headache free. The crew helped me through the whole process without ever making me feel I was making a mistake or being over charge. Duran = Dedicated Understanding Reliable Awesome Noble I had a 1999 Ford Explorer and was going to a mechanic in Yonkers who always charged close to a grand no matter what I brought it in for. On Yonkers Avenue, I always felt robbed and always thought I was being taken advantaged of because of my gender. My mom met Andre through her coworker at Con Edison. She often bragged about the service she received when she went to Duran Auto. I finally took my mom's advice and went to Duran Auto about 2 years ago. The cliche "Mama knows best" is so applicable. I've been getting my car serviced at Duran Auto ever since. I'm amazed at how dedicated, understanding, reliable, awesome and noble everyone is at Duran Auto. I've had much more work done on my car with Andre than with the mechanic in Yonkers and I haven't spent a fraction of what I paid in Yonkers. Fast forward, my ex boyfriend crashed my explorer and secretly had it "fixed" somewhere else. However, the SUV repeatedly needed service. So when Andre recommended I get another vehicle, that's what I did. He and Jay helped me get a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer right from Duran Auto! They are so honest. They told me about an extended warranty; which I bought for 3 years. I picked up the car the same day I paid for it. Jay registered it with DMV, did the title and helped with the insurance. Do you know they even have their own credit card, which I used :) Initially, I was not totally excited about this new / used SUV. I've had my Explorer since 2006. The next day, I called Andre to share the CD player, one of the outlets, and the left headlight were inoperable. I brought it in a couple of days later. Do you know Andre had a new radio installed with an mp3?? He also repaired the outlet, headlight and did some extra stuff I didn't even ask for. For example, he put on brand new window guards, fixed my EZ pass thing, redid the back window tint. I am not only excited but grateful. Excited to drive a car that doesn't go to the right when i hit a pothole, doesn't smell like smoke, doesn't shake, rides smoother and doesn't make a rattling noise. I am grateful to have met Andre and his dad because they are honest, professional and actually care about their customers. I gave 5 stars because Andre is trustworthy, knows what he is doing, cares and is reasonable. Priceless!

I had been going to Mario and Andre at Duran Auto for service on my old car for years so when the time came to get another car I decided to buy from them as well. What a great decision. The Toyota Matrix I purchased from Duran has provided me with years of enjoyment. People don't believe it's a used car! They walk you through the whole process and never pressure you. I am comfortable sending my friends to buy cars from Duran because I know they will be treated fairly and with respect. Their service staff is second to none as well. I get all my maintenance done there. You'd be crazy to go anywhere else.

I started going to Duran auto after the recommendation of a friend, about 10yrs ago I met Andre I took my truck to him to look at, to my surprise my previous mechanic took me for a ride, one of Andre's best qualities is his honesty if you don't need something fix he will tell you, with him is safety 1st . 6 years ago my truck gave up on me and in his car lot I saw a mazda protege with the help of Andre and his finance dept I was able to finance the car within 1 or 2 days. He service the car with speedy appts for 6 yrs. and just a week ago I found myself trading in my car for another mazda this time the cx9 once again with the help of Jay in the financing dept and Andre I was able to drive out of there in 1 or 2 days love this car. If you guys haven't been to Duran auto for your car servicing you're CRAZY you have to go there to experience this excellent service I'm bragging about. love these guys I recommend them to anyone.

I was in the market to purchase a new used vehicle. I searched my local area and was completed railroaded by my local Toyota dealer. They were ready to sell me a vehicle without having it properly inspected. Vehicle had recalls and engine problems. At the suggestions of relatives, I contacted Duran Auto and told what I was looking for. I had no doubt they would find something for me. I have taken my previous vehicles to them for service, so I knEw whatever they sold me would be properly serviced and inspected. They found a perfect match for me. HAGGLE FREE AND HASSLE FREE. Within one week of seeing and test driving the vehicle I purchased it. Thanks to my family, Jay (Finance Dept) and Andre (Owner) for making my search and buying a pleasant experience. I have already referred a friend and will continue to recommend Duran Auto to anyone who is in the market to make a vehicle purchase. Andre and his dad pride themselves behind their products and will be the first to say that they would not sell a vehicle that they would not personally drive. Thanks Duran and continued success.

Started going to Duran Auto about 15 years ago after a friend suggested I get my car fixed there after the dealer had really overcharged me. Never went anywhere but Duran after that. They are always fair with the price and more importantly they always gve me an honest answer on when my car or my truck will be done as I rely on my truck to operate my business. My parents and I have since bought several cars from Mario and Andre and have always been happy, and Mario always makes me laugh with his stories fixing cars from years back. I was in there a few weeks ago and they remodeled their waiting room and its really well done

my brother took me to durans where he had bought a couple of cars and i'm there today gettin my first oil change;so far so good; we got there about 11 with not so good credit, left for lunch and about 2 I was driving home in my 09 eplorer. Surprised my wife and friends; everybody in my block loves my car and i totally recomend durans for the way they treat you and the service they give me.

A car is a car - but at Duran Auto you find people who stand behind what they sell and service. Have purchased 2 cars from Duran Auto in the last six years and am about to purchase another for my daughter as soon as the winter ends. Two friends have purchased cars from Duran Auto and countless other have been referred to Duran Auto and have received excellent service, Coming to Duran Auto and working with and becoming part of the family with Andre and Mario is one of the best things to happen to me and my family.

Me and my family have been going to Duran for just about 20 years now and I could not recommend a more honest and reputable repair station and dealership. We are up to about 10 total car purchases and each one has been serviced by their service department. We have referred everyone we know and they all have been extremely satisfied. Their used cars are great and they make sure everyone leaves happy and returns for repeat business. Me and my family are grateful to have found them.
