This is exactly how I wanted to buy a car. I wanted to buy the car I wanted, absolutely no pressure. I don't care about how the facility looks i am there to get a car, not a building. The staff treats you like family, you will feel like you are getting the bargain of a life time. We all get so busy at our job that accidentally we let a good customer slip through the cracks, we have all been that customer at one time or another. It doesn't happen at East Side Auto. I drove 435 miles one way to check it out, I was so tired after 870 miles in one day but the drive could not bring me down from my high, thank you East Side Auto

Very helpful and nice staff. Troy helped us purchase 2013 G37, the car was in very nice condition and well maintained. The sales process was smooth. Received our new plates in a very timely manner as well as a nice thank you card. If you're looking for a nice used car, this is the place to go!

I have bought many used cars in my lifetime, maybe 50. So I felt I had enough experience to make a educated decision. You should only buy a salvage title vehicle if you know a bit about cars. I purchased a Subaru from Eastside for over $7K off retail due to hail damage. Eastside fixed what they had to, to make the car road worthy. What they fixed, has had no issues, windshield, taillights headlights... I had purchased a salvage vehicle from another dealer years ago and that one had issues appearing hundreds and thousands of miles later. So I did know a few things to look for and even then, workmanship may not be evident at first. I have put on over 25K on this car and nothing has surfaced that was not in plain sight when I bought it. I did not care too much what the outside looked like as I was going to fix it over time here and there. I still feel I got a great value for my transportation, an AWD Subaru with low miles that feels like new inside. I would consider buying again from them. I think they are selling less than perfectly new cars at a fair price. To me it is a WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET deal that works for both of you. They only have so much time to investigate each vehicle and you always take a risk with any used vehicle.

The nicest thing about this place was the receptionist.We contacted this place before we drove all the way out from Apple Valley to see the HHR.We tried to tell the guy what we were looking for he recommended 1 HHR that had higher mileage and was pretty beat up.We told him that we came to see the blue HHR, we were told that it wasn't ready and it would be 2 weeks before it was ready. I will say that they do have a lot of cars to pick from. The customer service wasn't that great.It seemed like they were a little upset that we didn't want that HHR.

I drove over two hours in traffic to make it to this dealer which has great reviews thought I would give them a try. I work 75+ hours weekly, its not easy finding time to buy a car so i was happy to make it there by 6PM....Clearly stated ONLINE hours are open until 7PM. The salesman showed me the car started it, then said I only have 15 minutes since they close at 6pm!!! Way to refuse a sale. We were extremely interested!! Horrible experience, you will be lucky if I decide to come back for the car WE WERE GOING TO BUY FROM YOUR SHOP. I ADVISE NEXT TIME, TAKING THE EXTRA TIME IF YOUR ACTUALLY GOING TO SELL A CAR!! This is the whole point of your business correct?

Bought a Dodge from them and the repairs on the vehicle were very good. Most of the people there were very helpful and gave good service. Will definitely consider them if the future.

Most of the cars listed on the site haven't even been touched yet, so call ahead of time. I would assume that they would be ready but hardly any were. Don't bother negotiating with these people, they'll go on and on about how much money they put into the vehicles. For salvages it's a shady experience to begin with but they leave you little room to feel comfortable purchasing one. You are pretty much instructed to go out to the lot and look, but hardly any of the cars are ready. Complete waste of time.

I recently needed a new car after my girlfriend accidentally crashed my old one (she was OK but the car was totaled). I found East Side Auto on cars.com with five or six vehicles in my price range so we set aside a weekday to go take a look. When we arrive Mark helped us take a look at an MDX at the top of our list. He was very transparent about the vehicle and let us know that it was a salvage title like most of their vehicles (it wasn't a huge plus but we didn't care much). We took a test drive and it drove like new and we decided that was it. We did all the paperwork and completed financing all in under a hour. Mark asked me to call him personally if there were any issues we experienced. It has been a couple weeks now and we have had no issues. If you are looking for great prices and don't mind taking a hit on resale (due to salvage title) then this is your place. The staff is great and they have great prices and tons of options. I did save a lot of money on a half dozen cars my family has bought here since 2001. We still shop for cars there today, I like how transparent they are. They have damaged cars waiting for repairs at the lot, so you can get an idea of the place works. All of our vehicles have been great cars and SUVs. The sales people weren't afraid to tell you the truth about the car you were looking at and I appreciate a "frank" conversation, so I could get on with my day! It is more a self-help kind of place, so if you like to schmooze or need to spend a lot of time with a sales person, ask them when the slower times of the day are...lol

I have been purchasing my vehicles at this dealership for the past 10 years. The staff has always been honest, helpful and knowledgeable. I am driving a Subaru Forester water damage for the past 3 years and have had not one problem with the vehicle. I have been referring all my friends and family members to shop there. Best prices of anywhere that I have found and great values. Don't forget they have been in business of over 35 years. They are doing something right!!!!

I had several phone conversations about 2 possible SUV's, both I was told were repaired completely and ready to go, I planned on driving over 2 hours to purchase one. I informed the sales person of the long drive, had an appointment for first thing in the morning, and was told the SUV would be saved and ready for me. When I arrived, I was told that the air conditioning "just quit working". They tried to get me to purchase the SUV and come back to have it fixed. I was disappointed that I drove 2 hours(4 total/back home). They could have called the night before and been honest about it, but chose not to. The other repairs on the SUV were shady. The sales guy was extremely rude when we said no. The second SUV hadn't even been touched as far as repairs. Again, I was told they were both ready. Waste of a morning.

Bought a Mazda here - less than two years old and half the price of new. We were treated to great service from the moment we walked in. There were a couple of issues with the car we wanted to see, one of which they took care of right away while we waited, and the other was resolved after the sale, as promised. The paperwork was taken care of quickly and efficiently, and they even delivered the car to our home. If you're thinking of buying here, note that most of the vehicles have stamped titles and are priced accordingly. If you are okay with this, you can get a good deal. They will not haggle - I know, I tried! If you're seriously interested in a car from this seller - or any seller for that matter - pick up the phone and call, or just head down there. Don't waste your time and the sellers time with email. I am very pleased with our buying experience - thanks to Mark and the rest of the staff. We're enjoying our "new to us" Mazda very much. Would definitely buy again when the time comes.

I sent several emails regarding a Jeep Cherokee and finally got an answer from Mark saying somebody had bought the vehicle and it was no longer available. Imagine my surprise when this morning I found the very vehicle on cars.com - it's still being offered. Way to go Mark!

This "dealership" specializes in insurance reclaimed vehicles and they don't hide that fact. For this reason you can get cars at a very reasonable price if you are ok with the damage/risk. You will not find salesmen in suits. If they are not swamped they will happily show you around and answer questions. Otherwise you are free to browse, hop in and even drive around the lot. I did end up buying a new car elsewhere just because I wanted a full warranty, but if you aren't looking for something fancy or can get a great deal on body work (or do your own) this place seems like a good choice.

bought 4 from you great deal paid cash never been back nor had a problem addad 140,000 on my 96 bravada one still going strong will be. down to buy that lite blue equinox when I get back from az hope it is still there in apr the cobalt we bought last dec is going great not a prob i say look for the great mechanical condition thats what counts when driving you don't see the dings lol

They did get back to me with a phone number but no specifics that I asked for on the vehicle. There site pictures did not show side views very well so I could not see well. Didn't show options well and did not specify options well at all. since they did not answer questions well at all I assumed it was rusted, in a accident, had issues I wasn't interested in buying. If they don't answer questions well they don't get my service or time pursuing the car. Must be the wrong place. Jim

I thought I would write a response to people on cars.com Give them a chance, East Side is a family owned business and sell many cars, The phone seems to ring non stop at times. I observed this sales person in action and thought I am glad this isn't my job, fast paced place, Just stop in or look lat their website. The hail cars are listed as hail on their site.They sell other types, water damage, theft recovered vehicles, hail and some repaired or non repaired accident cars. It clearly say's they specialize in insurance recovered vehicles. I am not a rocket scientist but I know what that means, Especially when the prices are that cheap. I did buy a car and will be back when another car is needed. Seems to busiest at the end of each day, Try going earlier. Only 3 guys selling cars and they are busy,

Our son purchased a car in October 2014 and drove off the lot before East Side Auto had a chance to access the vehicle as it had just been brought in. After getting home ( 2 hours away) our son was having a few issues with the car. He called East Side Auto and set up an appointment to have the vehicle he purchased accessed. He dropped off the car on a Saturday and it was done on the following Monday, which East Side Auto provided a loaner vehicle for him to drive in the interim. East Side Auto fixed the problems our son was having , free of charge! They had honored their 30 day warranty. Thank you East Side Auto you guys rock! Nancy Voss

Just bought our 8th car here. Great people to deal with. I comment and tell people to call for quicker response, Very busy place. They work hard and don't just stand around like other car sales people and attack you when you stop in.

He didn't answer any of my questions regarding the vehicle, he just resent me the ad from cars.com. So it was pretty useless. I ended up going to another dealer and buying a car from them. We needed answers regarding the car before driving way out there to see it.

I never for a response from anyone at the dealership. Why bother putting their cars on the internet if they are not going to respond. I had put in a request for contact twice and still nothing. Didn't purchase the vehicle or even bother trying again. My thought is if they can't contact me then obviously I cannot trust anything they would say or the car.

I did not get a call back after actually going all the way to their place to see the car and the car not being ready to be road tested, I finally went back after few phone calls (from me) just to make sure and the sales man was not too friendly and even a bit rude; after I made the deal they did not have the car ready when I was told it would be for pick up and when I finally picked it up they could have made a better job cleaning it up; the car was a good deal so I let it go but for me to go back it would have to be for an even better deal than what I've got.

I bought a Hyndai Sonata with low mileage from them about 2 years ago and it had hail damage. It was a great first car for my daughter and now I am looking for my son, so I am heading back there soon. I like the fact that they have good cars and I don't need my kids to have pristine looking cars. It was and has been a very good experience.
