Called in set up appointment to fix the A/C. (stopped working all at once, worked fine then just quit.) I take care of this car--- 2011 Model A6 3.0T with just 50K on it. No other problems ---ever. Love this car so I was looking FWD to getting it back. They called me an hour after I gave it to them.. I thought great! That was fast!It was under extended warranty and had a high pressure switch that was " bad" . The warranty company said go. Then a few hours later it all started to go south. Ring Ring--- Hi this is Gary-- Well we replaced the part but it is still broken, we need you to pay (280 bucks more) for "service" on the A/C that the warranty company wont pay for. This was so they could find out what is wrong with it.Really? Did not check to see if it had Freon before replacing parts?? So catch 22. I ended up getting nothing for my 100 dollar deductible, and they billed the warranty folks for 230 bucks. All to do nothing to fix the issue. I got the warranty people on line with them and they weaseled for a while. So for me having to hear anymore of this was not worth the time, and for 100 bucks.. I hung up.. I have taken it to a reputable service department to undo the "work" they did. And look forward to getting it back fixed this time. I am sure some people are happy with them, I got burned so just a heads up. Avoid them if you can, not worth the effort. They really don't give a crap in the end. Sad, Fort Collins is a small town and word gets around..

Starting from the moment one walks in you are greeted with friendly staff that are willing to assist with your needs. Service Department is very professional and make sure to protect your vehicle while being worked on. Not being a mechanic, any issues I have experienced are explained to me in a easy to understand manner. The Customer Service from all staff has always been great! Not very often this can be said of any dealership. Price for maintenance is affordable and not overpriced as many dealerships are. You come in for an oil change you get the oil change and you do not get the "you need this or that". Free wifi and conference room to work (if needed) while waiting, also have great loaner vehicles in the case that the service department needs to keep the vehicle over night. Extremely pleased customer and will continue returning and using Audi for my service needs.Thank you to all the staff at Ed Carroll

The engine light on our Q5 came on while returning to Colorado from Kansas City. Talked to Ryan in Audi service, explained the situation, made an appointment immediately and the issue was resolved per Audi standards. Great job, by a great team.

This dealership really prides themselves on personal service whether it's a sale or a service issue. My wife and I have purchased 5 cars there and will buy a 6th at some point.The service folks are on the ball and return your car repaired AND clean.

Sad when the sales person lies to you. I asked why only a 50K warranty 2 years. He said porsche doesn't need more. They don't do 100K Wrong the pref-certified is 100k and 6 years. Can't lie or not tell me every thing. So bought one else where. I ordered one little part and two weeks later they have it. I could have had eBay send it sooner. Now I needed a new windshield and they gave the wrong part number so can't replace windshield. And if they order it will be at least a week. Do I trust them. xxxx no

My car was under warranty; they reviewed the items, told me that the truck is working as designed. If I pop the truck by standing with my door open and run to the back the truck locks again before I can get it opened. The only way to unlock the trunk is to have the key in hand and standing next to it before it locks again. But, that is working as designed uh huh, sure it is. Back to the warranty, okay, understandably that they would need to review, order parts, got it... Rather than the parts dept. telling the rep they are in, they call me directly and then I need to get transferred to the rep to make another appointment for them to fix the items. What a ridiculous method of communication.I take my car back in before opening, so they have the day to fix it. I never received a call, so I called at 3pm, left a voice mail. I never received a call back by 4:30, so I called again. To which the rep replied with I was just going over your paper work. I finally get there around 5:15 to get my car, get in it, the windows won't roll down. I kept playing with the buttons and they would roll down a little each time until finally they went down and up without any issues. I take off, turn on the radio, I'm about a mile down the road and I noticed the radio didn't come on. So, I pulled over and looked closer, there is an error code. I turned around, went back into VW, mind you it's about 5:23. They are looking for my rep, and some other rep asks if I know what the code is. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about. This other rep and I sat there for the next 10 min's trying to look for this code that sometimes is written down in the manual. By this time its 5:34, and he tells me that I will need to bring back the car the next day that their mechanics have left for the day. Seriously?!? If they would have just looked at it when I was back at 5:23 they could have fixed it then. No, but I have to take time out of my schedule to take it back because they screwed it up. Needless to say, I'm already upset about not having the radio work, but I have to come back again to have them fix it. Well, to top off my anger, I am driving home and hear this awful rattling coming from the dash. They had to remove the dash to fix the display and screwed something up. This certainly pissed me off, but this isn't the reason I am writing this review. I am writing the review because of the lack of service and them wasting my time. I took my car back the next morning, they fixed the radio, but couldnt pin point the rattling and would need to remove the dashboard to figure it out. So, here again I have to take my car back in. I was told they would give me a loaner car that they didnt have any last week and to have me call this week. I called and left a VM for Cheyenne Monday afternoon 2:30pm, by 10:30 Tuesday I still havent received a phone call. I called back and spoke with Cheyenne and they do not have any loaner cars and looks like it wont be until next week that I can bring my car back into their shop. Their service is HORRIBLE! Now, I have to turn my radio up very loud so that I dont have to listen to that rattling they caused. What I dont understand is why when resetting the electronics and knowing it resets the windows and radio why wouldnt they have checked these out before leaving the shop. Why is it that dealerships can get away with this? They should at the very least compensate the customer for their time when they make these stupid mistakes that could have been avoided to begin with.

DON'T USE..... Wont stand behind their work. Had a fuel pump replaced in June by October it wasn't working. The refused to pay for the tow after telling me they would as long as it was the fuel pump that was defective. Which it was and now they refuse to pay for the toe from where I live. Vw wont do anything about it. Much better finding a private mechanic to do your work maybe they will stand behind what they work on.

I contacted the dealer blindly through cars.com. Adolf was the one to respond. He was very courteous, informative and in my opinion went above the call of duty to answer my unique questions. Although the vehicle I inquired about had sold and there wasn't an alternative I would highly recommend anyone to this gentleman.

Very accommodating, family orientated business. Our experience was a pleasure in car buying. Most people I know have poor things to say about their car buying experience for one reason or another, usually pushy, aggressive and/arrogant salesperson. We had heard good reviews about Ed Carroll and they all stacked up. Our salesman was polite friendly and courteous, while the sales manager came out to visit once we had bought to chat and thank us for our business! We have a car to trade in soon and you can rest assured they will be our first stop. They pay attention to the little things to make the process, well, enjoyable!

This service department is the BEST. Always kind, courteous, respectful, quick and knowledgeable. Whenever I have called for anykind of service, they always have several options to work within my schedule. Their quality work is done as promised. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. A service department of this quality makes me never want to buy any other product but a Porche or Audi.

After going through a horrible experience with a previous dealership (non-Audi), I was very hesitant about dealing with another dealership. My hesitance was put to rest when I called Ed Carroll Audi to schedule a routine maintenance. I was greeted kindly by the Service Advisor, Rick Purdy, who reviewed my options with me and provided accurate pricing quotes. When I picked up my car, I was greeted by Rick and his friendly staff and informed of some outstanding recalls that were performed while they had my car. These are recalls that the dealership I purchased from failed to mention to me. Now I have my car back and it runs like a dream. Ed Carroll Audi has definitely earned my business and I intend to return to them with any service necessary.

I have purchased 3 vehicles from Ed Carroll Volkswagon in Fort Collins, CO. This round, I worked with Zach in Sales. He was an incredibly honest, time conscience and considerate sales associate. I had a promotional time period in addition to a vacation to make which put a deadline on the ordering of the precise sportswagon I wanted. Zach more than delivered while keeping me in the loop on what was happening the entire time. The financing was very smooth and not pushy.Beyond that, every time I have needed service, Shannon and the team are amazing. I will never stray from Ed Carroll on car needs in the future.

On September 9, 2011 my wife and I had a baby girl. So, obviously before she was born we traded in our old car and bought a family car from a Honda dealership in Greeley, CO. My experience with this dealership was the kind of event that would give anyone buying a car nightmares. My wife and I purchased a 2009 Honda CRV, a car we thought would be great for a new family. It wasn't, the suspension was bumpy, the car was loud, and the car had a severe lack of horsepower. (Which was expected, but what wasn't expected is that my Jetta TDI gets almost 200 more miles a tank and has 140 horsepower).After my horrific experience with this Honda dealership I went into the Ed Carroll Motor Co / VW Dealership prepared for war. To my suprise this attitude which you must wear like armor into most dealerships was completely unneccesary. The staff was amazing, every part of the process was great. Not only was the staff knowledgable, professional, and friendly. They got me a great deal on my new car which "I LOVE." I didn't have to fight for a good price, I didn't have to argue with the salesman. I recommend this dealership.

We had a wonderful experience. Zack was welling to wait for us to make up our minds as to when we wanted to make the purchase, which was 2 months. He made contact with us during that time but didn't push. Zack and Leslie are very friendly people and we had many laughs. Jon Vermouth was very pleasant and welling to work with us as my husband is a truck driver and we couldn't sign the papers at the same time. The price was within our reach. We were really surprised at the trade-in price on the car we brought in. It ran good but sure looked bad. It was of great importance that we were taken to the shop and had our first appointment made so we wouldn't forget to have it done at the right time. The maintenance is important.

First Experience Was Great. VIP Treatment. This was my first service appointment at Ed Carroll Audi. Routine 5000 mile service, so I expected everything to go well. But what was really outstanding was how friendly Rick Purdy was. From the initial phone call when I setup the appointment, all the way through meet-n-greet, discussions about the car, recommendations for snow tires, etc., Rick was one of the most professional and courteous service advisors that I've ever worked with.

Absolutely Amazing...No pressure sales. Friendly staff. Allowed us privacy for the test drive, Very knowledgeable on the car, options, features etc. Promised to provide within a couple of weeks of purchase a few items missing or in need of repair and delivered without a hitch...even provided a Q5 loaner while items were being taken care of. They made the entire process of purchasing a car very enjoyable, smooth and effortless. We drove from Boulder to Fort Collins to buy this car and the drive was well worth it ! I called the finance manager Jon Vermouth 3 weeks later to ask questions about title, registration fees etc and he took time to explain everything to me again. I would highly recommend this dealership.

After looking at several dealers for a new convertable, I selected Ed carroll for several reasons. First: They did not pressure me to buy from them. Second: Their price for the make and model I wanted was competitive. Third: their willingness to work with me on delivery was important and they handled it perfectly through out the entire organization.After taking delivery their sales staff did a professioinal and friendly explaination of the many features in the car to both my wife and I.I couldn't recommend a better place to buy a car. They are a plesure to deal with.

Freaking outstanding! Zero sales pressure. I've been driving vintage aircooled VW since the late 80's so when I finally decided to buy a new car they were my first and only choice. From the get go Trevor made my wife and I feel like long lost friends. He listened to and was able to put me into my newest VW without any stress. I seriously didn't even break a sweat and I could sweat in the Arctic without any close on. Sorry for the visual. Anyway, the entire staff from sales, finance, parts to service makes me feel at home every time I visit. If they keep it up I won't buy a car anywhere else... Period. Hands down the best car experience EVER.

I bought my Audi A4 from Trevor Valdez. He is a professional, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable salesperson. Every year I serviced my car at Ed Carroll. All service car technicians there are highly knowledgeable and experienced. They will solve your car problems. The Service Advisor for Audi, Ricky Purdy, is always helpful, knowledgeable and provide great customer serice. Likewise, Shannon Funk and Ryan Barnum, Service Advisors for Volkswagen, always provide superb customer service. My husband takes his Volkswagen there for service instead of the Volkswagon dealer nearby because they do not provide good customer service.

Ryan Barnum helped me with my Mitsubishi Montero Sport. My stereo had locked me out when I changed batteries and Ryan helped me get the code to get it working again. I didnt buy the vehicle there, it was used. He didnt need to help with my issue, but he gladly did.I really appreciate it and will not forget his service.

I bought a slightly used (3000 mi) 1988 Porsche 944 from Ed Carroll in 1989. I have had it serviced by them ever since (20 years). About a year after the warranty ran out, it blew a gasket between the oil and water cooling systems, pushing oil into the cooling system. They dissembled the system and replaced the gasket, and because it is recommended by Porsche, also checked that the main bearings were not damaged by having water in the oil. The overall cost was close to $2000 (early 1990s dollars!). Without my asking, when I went to pick up the car they told me they had talked to the Porsche regional manager about the issue and that "Porsches don't do that". The entire repair was covered by PNA! Since then, they have kept the car in great shape without pushing me to do unnecessary service. In fact, I sometimes have to coax them to do some expensive service items rather than finding a less expensive workaround. I have a lot of confidence that I am getting a good deal from Ed Carroll, and would certainly buy another Porsche from them. Comparisons of prices online (Cars.com) suggests that for both new and used Porsches, Ed Carroll prices are often the best available, probably because of low overhead compared to Denver or Scottsdale. Unfortunately, they do not service their online web site very well, so it is worth a call or visit to see what they have in stock, especially used cars. Not a huge inventory, but...

Not the worst place - I bought my 98 there and continued to use them under warranty. I still buy parts from them when I do my own maintenance. They do offer rides to work in Fort Collins when you take your car in - no loaners. They usually do not offer to pick you up went the work is completed. <br>Having been to Prestige in Denver - the faculties at Ed Carroll is not close to the levels there. Also, there is little to differentiate the level of service from if you bought a VW or Mitsubishi
