This was probably my best dealership experience ever. Not a fancy dealership, and maybe dated because it's in a small town (Canon City), but you will receive HONEST, FRIENDLY AND FAIR FIVE-STAR TREATMENT from everyone that works here! You're not pressured to buy in order to pay for an expensive glitzy facility! Renee the Internet Sales Manager followed up when a vehicle of interest was traded in, and although that was not the car I purchased, she had pointed out a great deal on alternate CPOs on the lot. Mark my sales guy was equally awesome. He was patient while we test drove two others before making a decision and made the experience pleasant without ever making me feel pressured to seal a deal. Peggy in finance was professional and she was able to secure financing that worked in my favor to allow me to add an extended warranty at little extra cost to cover things typical aftermarket warranties will not. Overall I'm glad I made the drive and feel like I came away with three new friends in the car business -- Even if I had not bought the car. You're treated more than just a customer here. Go see them!

Everyone at Faricy was great from email correspondence, to onsite sales, to finance. We generally hate the car buying experience as seems always seem to turn out differently and more expensive than originally discussed. Faricy was straight forward, honest, and didn't waiver. Made an appointment days in advance, dropped our car off early for repairs, called an hour later and the service rep said they were looking it and trying to find the extended warranty information, which we bought through their dealership. Went back to dealership two hours later and the rep said they had not done anything and still had no warranty info. The rep never called us back during our 4 hours of killing time waiting for repairs. We live over an hour from the dealership so this trip was a total waste of a day. No repairs were done, and we will never use Faricy Ford service dept again. The service manager called because I left a complaint with the front desk at the dealership. He said he was sorry and wish they could have done better. Save your time, do not go to Faricy Ford for service, they will let you down.

my wife and I decided that we needed a newer vehicle than what we had. We looked at cars in all the parking lots to see which ones we liked. we decided on several brands. we looked at dealers on Sundays so as not to be bothered by salespersons. Today we started at Faricy Ford Lincoln just to look and see how the cars were and sit in them. We had decided to buy new rather than used. My wife wanted leather seats. the salesperson, Mark Petros, looked his inventory and showed us one with leather seats. It also had all the bells and whistles that we had thought about on a new car. We drove it around the block. We talked with Mark about pricing and trade in of our present car. Told Mark we would look at other dealers. Went to lunch, looked on-line at other brands and models. Went back to Faricy and bought the Ford Fusion we had looked at. Great respect and consideration from everyone, and a great deal to boot.

Our search is over! We have been looking for a new/used truck about 6 months. Our son had recommended Faricy Ford for the maintenance on our Ford Edge and suggested that this dealership would be a good place to shop for the new truck also. We have been thrilled with the service department (thorough, friendly and helpful). Several months ago,while waiting for the Edge to be serviced, we met a Faricy Ford salesman, who showed us several Ford trucks. His knowledge of various trucks and features is extremely impressive. He guided us through the process of picking the truck that is perfect for us. We purchased a Ford F-150, from Faricy Ford, recently. The transaction was intimidation free, and was a comfortable, trustworthy business deal. Every member of the Faricy Ford team went out of their way to answer our questions truthfully, give us adequate information, consider our needs, prepare a fair deal and follow through with each agreed item. I have purchased many vehicles in my 55 years of life, but none of those purchasing experiences even come close to level of care and respect I was given at Faricy Ford in Canon City Colorado. My wife and I were exploring and researching vehicle ideas and possibilities as I enter the last four years of my professional career. We were greeted by Mark Petros, a salesman that changed our perception of vehicle buying forever. Mark is a no pressure, non-aggressive, gentle soul that guided our thinking process, encouraged our questions and walked with us during any hesitation we were have about purchasing a vehicle. His personality allowed us to explore ideas and look at vehicles we believe out of our league. We had zeroed in on one particular type and style of truck when we left the Faricy lot that afternoon, but did not want to make a decision yet. The Faricy auto appraiser had already put in writing a fantastic trade-in price on our vehicle that exceeded NADA trade-in value, and they had also been very transparent on the price, savings and rebates on the truck we might be buying. The dealership placed the entire deal on paper and we left thinking about the deal. Mark knew what we were going to do that afternoon when we left, but he never said a single comment or placed pressure to seal the deal. When we left, we headed to another ford dealership closer to our house and looked at other Ford trucks, just as I am guessing Mark thought we would do. Of course, that second experience that afternoon, looking at trucks, turned out just as I expected, negative, devaluing our trade-in and an attempt to make my wife and I feel like we owed it to that dealer to buy the truck we test drove. I produced the deal sheet that Faricy had offered us and it sent this second dealership into a frenzy. The Faricy deal was so good that the manager of the second dealership asked us why we didn't take the Faricy deal. He stated that the Faricy deal was a "smokin hot" deal, then spent a little effort trying to get us to go for their deal. We got up and left, quickly. Shortly after we left that dealership, we called Mark back and asked him if they would be able to find this type of truck that was an F-350, that we had driven at the second dealership, and in his gentle yet confident voice he said "sure". Marked called back at 11 am the next morning and had already found 2 trucks that met our request and the process began. The entire process was topped off with the most pleasant financing experience that any one could ever dream about, with Faricy's Finance Director, Peggy Beck. She too, matched Mark's gentle nature and I enjoyed a full hour of conversation and questions about the finance process and specifics regarding our new truck, our families, our pets and life in general. It was a magnificent financing experience, plus (the best part), she got us a financing rate that was out of this world for my wife and I, and massively lower than what I had expected. It literally choked me up it was such a magnificent rate. I know that I have been lengthy in my summary, but it is important for me to let everyone know that they don't have to settle for a car buying experience that makes you want to avoid the experience altogether. Faricy Ford will change all of that for you right from the beginning, and hold the course throughout the entire experience. In addition you will get a chance to work with two of the most gentle and kind individuals that you will ever come across. Thank You Mark Petros and Peggy Beck for being human beings that considered my wife and I your "guests" as Peggy put it, through this entire buying experience. Thank You Faricy Ford for helping my wife and I create and achieve some closure as I enter into my last four professional years before I retire. You folks are a tremendous partner to have when buying a vehicle.

Just leased a Transit Connect XLT wagon, LWB. All aspects of the transaction were excellent. Even go to talk to owner Joe Faricy while ther completing the deal. Sales person Chris Snyder was easy to work with. My Sister had bought two vehicles from him previously and she highly recommended him. Peggy in financing handled the paperwork on this rare one time pay lease transaction. Would have liked to get a discount on purchase of parts as will be buying some all season mats. Got this discount from another Ford dealership after purchasing my previous vehicle, a 2014 Ford Fiesta, the vehicle that I traded in on the Transit Connect. Will be getting my service at Faricy Ford also.

I did a lot of research online before deciding that a Ford F-150 Lariat was the right truck for me. But I have never owned a truck and I was a little worried about how you maneuver it around. So we visited Faricy Ford in Canon City, where Steven Montoya patiently listened to what we said we wanted and let us test drive a ruby red Lariat. Well, this Lariat was a beauty. Steven was low key and not at all pushy but he clearly loved going over all the features of this truck with us (and he knew them all!). It made me feel like a kid with a (possible) new toy. So, a couple of days later, we stopped by and bought the truck. All the people in the dealership were so friendly, and Steven got the prep people busy right away in sweeping off the snow and readying the truck. He even introduced us to the repair manager, who stopped what he was doing in order to welcome us. Even the prep guy was so endearing when he handed me the keys. And Peggy in Finance really listened to what we had to say about how we intended to use the truck, our lifestyle, and our driving styles. I loved the fact that she had her little dog on her lap most of the time that we filled out papers, and she insisted that we bring our big dog inside the office to visit with her and her little guy. I have bought a good number of cars in my life and never have I felt so un-pressured (if that's a word!). Never thought I would say that buying a new vehicle would be a pleasant experience (usually it is just something to be endured) but this really was fun! Loved the staff at the dealership!

I was not actually shopping for a new vehicle but wanted one, as my 2008 Jeep was becoming difficult for me to enter and the ride was becoming not as comfortable for me as when I bought it in 2008. After all, people age. I wanted something with all the "bells and whistles." Well I got it! A brand new metallic grey Ford Escape. My Salesman, Steve Montoya was a very patient individual and answered all my questions and helped me with all the "bells and whistles." I did not feel pressured at all to commit to a sale. I like the ride and the eco boost of the Escape. Also, the dealership was very kind to an older citizen and Steve even drove me to another building to complete the sale as I have difficulty in walking. This dealership and my salesman, Steve should get as many stars as can be given.

Like most people, I dreaded the thought of car shopping. I did a lot of research, and knew exactly what I was looking for...I contacted Renee at Faricy Ford and we did most of our communication via email, so that when I went in to test drive a truck, we had a lot of the work done. We were in and out in no time at all, from sales to financing. The staff was wonderful, from Renee to Martha our salesperson. We meet some of the guys from the service department as well as the owner. The finance person was friendly and professional. She didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. We never felt any pressure, and it was overall the best car buying experience ever!! I would recommend them to anyone and we will be buying our next car from them as well.

We were pleased with the salesman, Martin Cheesman, who assisted us with the purchase of our Ford Focus. He was friendly, answered all our questions, and was very helpful. At no time did we feel "pressured". He was very thorough in explaining the details of the Focus. We had been looking for a vehicle for approximately nine months to a year and he was very patient through all our visits. We feel we can at anytime come back with any questions or concerns that may arise as we adjust to our Focus

It was the most enjoyable experience we have ever encountered when purchasing a vehicle of any kind and we have gone though this process numerous times. Mike was there more as an advocate for us than a high pressured salesman, determined to get us what we wanted in a truck with the fairest of prices and the best value for our investment. When they did not have exactly what we wanted in their inventory he ordered us the truck we wanted with the options we wanted rather than trying to persuade us to buy one they already had on their lot! My partner and I were researching Lincoln MKT's online when we came across a 2014 on the lot at Faricy Ford. It was a nice day yesterday, so we decided to just drive down (111 miles) vs. calling and trying to make a deal over the phone. When we arrived, Martin Cheeseman greeted us. We chatted with him about what we'd seen online, and he took us straight to the vehicle. After we both test drove it, we knew this is the car we wanted. It was already a few thousand under fair market value according to Kelly Blue Book, so we knew there would be no negotiation room there. Ben, their Assistant General Manager, took our 2012 Ford Focus for a spin, and within a few minutes of being back, we had a quote in front of us. What they were offering for a trade-in was $700 off what I was willing to accept. I showed Martin, on my smartphone, why I felt the trade-in needed to be increased. I also made it clear that, by wanting $700 more, that was not an opportunity to come back and say they'd split the difference. I also said I'd love to chat with Ben in person vs. the typical dealership shenanigans of the sales person going back and forth, claiming to have really fought for us, but the mean managers wouldn't budge and $XXX was the absolute best they could do. Ben was busy, so we walked around the lot a bit. Not 10 minutes later, Ben and Martin came out, shook our hand, and said we had a deal. They detailed the car, filled it with gas (not all dealerships do this with used cars), and we were on our way. I've owned 11 Fords in my ~25 years of driving, and this, by far, was the easiest, most stress-free experience ever. Martin's laid-back, easy-going, genuine, sincere personality was so refreshing vs. other sales folks that are trying to sell you with every sentence out of their mouth. We'd HIGHLY recommended giving Faricy Ford a try when you're ready to purchase your next vehicle.

I drove from Denver, approximately 90 miles and I would do it again. The entire process was great from start to finish. My experience started with Sales Associate Steve Montoya contacting me immediately after I inquired online about a rare M45 Sport that they had in stock. Soon after that Internet Sales Manager Renee Newey followed up as well. I let Steve know what I was looking for and I also let him know I was doing a multiple state search for the car I was interested in. Steve assured me he was here to help me in any way that he can. During my research phase Steve answered all my questions and sent me additional picture of the car. During the same period that Steve was going above and beyond, most other dealerships were doing the minimum required such as automatic email replies, or trying to suggest a different car if they did not have the specific car I was looking for available. Once I decided to take the trip down to Canyon City, the experience got even better. When I got to Canyon City the car was right in the front cleaned and ready to be test drove. Before I test drove the car I met Sales Manager Bob who along with Steve assured me that they will do anything they can to help me find the right car and there is no pressure. After test driving the car Steve and I sat down to talk about the terms. That part of the process was seamless and very pleasant with no pressure at all. One we came to terms on the car, I met with Finance Director Peggy Beck who easily walked me though the paper work and made me feel totally at ease. While we were going over the terms and completing the paper work, the detail department and I think the young mans name is Manny were busy making the car even cleaner and putting the final touches on the car so it would be ready for me. Before driving off Renee took pictures of my family and me with our new car to make us feel like we were part of the family and had been buying cars from from Faricy for years. Thank you Steve and the Faricy Team for helping me find the right car for me and an outstanding client experience from start to finish!

My wife and I were looking for an Expedition EL and decided to take the drive down from Colorado Springs to check out Faricy Ford in Canon City. I'm really glad we did. Steven Montoya handled all of our questions and concerns perfectly. The atmosphere at Faricy is a great representation of how old school, small town business should be handled...no tricks, no fancy distractions, and very friendly staff. The truck we chose had a few minor issues that the dealership hasn't had a chance to fix since the vehicle was new to the lot. However, Steven made sure that everything was taken care of, even after we purchased the truck and left the lot. They made all of the necessary fixes/repairs in their own garage with their own people. They also gave an honest and fair offer on our trade. Steven was really up front with all of the numbers involved. We knew after an hour exactly what they wanted for the Expedition and exactly what they were offering for the trade. I've never seen such efficiency and honesty from a big-name dealership. We purchased in February and still get the occasional text or email, just make sure that we're still happy with our purchase and experience.

I've shopped for and bought trucks and cars on cars.com for over 5 years here in Colorado. Faricy Ford is the best. They say what they mean and mean what they say. As a Christian, that is of utmost importance to me and from me. Since I live in Lafayette Colorado my ride to Faricy was a long one, but worth it. Car buying is sometimes likened to going to the dentist for a root canal, and not in anything but the worst way. Faricy restored my faith in the process. They are the best in the west bar none.

We went to Faricy because it was close to a business we needed to visit. Had no intention of purchasing at the time; just getting an idea of the type of vehicles and features that were available. We had the same vehicle (a 1995 Blazer, bought new) until our visit. We were met in the front by Martin, a very nonpushy salesman. I explained what we wanted to do and that we were looking at a used car in a certain range of years. He walked with us toward the area we were seeking. He let my wife open doors, sit in seats and answered her questions while explaining to me all the new features available and never once pushed. We found one we very much wanted but we needed to pray about it and check with our bank for funding. Martin did offer their lending company as one that could give us a much better rate than our bank. We told him that we would be in touch the following day but if someone came in and wanted it that he should not miss a sale as we would not commit. The following morning after speaking with our bank and our insurance agent we called him and said it it was still available and could get the papers (for the car and the loan) ready we could be their in the early pm. Needless to say we now have a new preowned car and a wonderful impression of Faircy Ford. PS: We had our dogs with us and they allowed us to walk them around and bring our new puppy in the office as we worked on all our paper work. This told us much about the owner and the type of people working there.

When I went in to Faricy Ford, I was very upset over a car repair on my old car, and when I left that day, I left driving the perfect car. There are things that the awesome salesman should tell you while you are sitting there listening to his lines of bull. First off:The 'so called' 30 day, 3000 mile used car warranty that they offer is 'bull crap'. They SAY it covers things that are wrong, however if you take the car home, find out that there is a oil leak or something like that. It comes down to, SORRY FOR YOUR LUCK SUCKER!..... The warranty is only good if something 'BREAKS'....WTH!!!!!Maybe SOMEONE should explain the wonderful 'warrany' in terms that are not misleading.Secondly:The line 'let me see what I can do' is almost as full of bull crap as the warranty. That line is a clear signal that he's stalling for time and has no intention of making anything 'right'. My sugestion to anyone that is going to do business with this dealership and expecially the USED car salesman. Take a mechanic with you, better yet go down the road to the Chevy dealer or anywhere else.

I think all you should really ask for in a car dealership is that the staff be professional and courteous, and Faricy Ford in Canon City goes above and beyond that requirement.

I've been bringing my 2004 F-250 to Faricy Ford for maintenanace and repair for almost 6 years. Paul and Brent have always gone above and beyond in customer service, and the diesel mechanics are top-notch.

Our internet request was promptly responded to. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and treated courteously by everyone at the dealership. It is a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Our salesman, Martin, was not pushy and was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I stopped by the dealership in late October looking for a 2011 Explorer. My salesman, Steve tried to find the color and options regionally but was unable to locate one this late in the model year. Decided to order a 2012. I shopped around for the best price in Denver and CO Springs, thinking a small town dealership would not be competitive with the larger dealerships. I was wrong. Not only did they give me a fair price for my trade, but they beat the best price of the larger dealerships by about $300. And one other comment - when was the last time you saw the dealership owner on the showroom floor? At this dealership you will, and Luke was really helpful when it came to ordering the options I was looking for. Thanks folks - I will be back when it comes time to buy my next Explorer.

I have been doing business with Faricy Ford since approximately 1998 when I needed a bigger vehicle when I had twins. I bought my 1993 Ford Taurus from Mark Petros. I loved that car. Now I drive a 2000 Taurus. I only go to Faricy Ford because all of the staff are friendly & helpful, but most of all the service staff treat me with respect & listen to me when something is wrong with my car. I never get treated like a dumb woman who doesn't know anything about cars. Paul & Brent listen to me, & ask questions so the problem can be diagnoised correctly. They will answer any questions I may have & the mechanics will answer my questions also. I can't imagine going anywhere else to have my car seviced. I depend on Faricy Ford to keep my car running. Everyone there does a great job. My next car will be bought from Faricy Ford in Canon City, Co. Thanks L.D

I bought a used but newer truck from them. The truck was as stated by the Internet Sales Manager. I was impressed with their ability to deal online. This deal was the most trouble free vehicle buying experience I have ever had. Personnel were professional, explained everything in short order, and I was treated excellent even after the fact. They were in contact with me through the whole process. I was called by the owner to make sure everything went without a hitch and as expected through the whole process.

I was highly impressed with Faricy Ford. It is a small dealership that truly has customer satisfaction as a priority. My husband and I had shopped many different car dealerships from Denver to Pueblo and Faricy was the only dealership that had the vehicle we wanted and actually were willing to negotiate to the price we wanted to pay. We were in search of a new Ford Expedition XLT and had tried to buy one from several dealerships yet were met with the same roadblock at each. All the dealerships prior to Faricy Ford stated that we could not get a new Expedition XLT in the price range we were willing to pay. The salesperson at each would then try to steer us to purchase another vehice that was 'more in our price range.' From the time Chas answered the phone until the time my family drove away from the dealership in our new Expedition the Faricy team treated us with respect. I was met at my car door by Chas when I pulled into Faricy Ford and was introduced to Ben who would be my salesman. The new Expedition that Chas stated they had on their lot was ready and waiting by the front door and Ben had the keys in his hand. I was encouraged to test drive the vehicle and look it over from front to back, top to bottom. Ben went above and beyond to make certain we were purchasing the vehicle we wanted for the price we wanted to pay. The entire Faricy team, including Natalie who handles all the financial aspects to the gentleman who detailed the vehicle for us listened to us and made certain we were satisfied with our purchase. I would highly reccommend Faircy Ford. It was well worth the 1+ hour drive.
