I went in expecting the worst. My credit wasnt all that great but i had been working really hard to get it all fixed. I went in expecting to get a used car that had a lot of miles on it but to only to come out with a BRAND NEW dodge journey! Dee was super nice through the whole process! I will always do business with this company! They went above and beyond for us and I could not be happier with the way everything turned out!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH DEE!!

I had an amazing experience when I went to look for a used car at Farris Motor. Dee Walker was to my assistance and he was great. He helped in any way he possibly could and he also ended up selling me a pickup truck that I love and am very satisfied with. I would recommend Dee Walker to any and everybody who goes there. I had an amazing experience at Farris Motor Company and I was happily advised by Dee Walker and Jamie Picquet! They explained to me the details of my credit situation and Dee let me know how I could be in position to purchase a vehicle. A new one wasn't in mind but hard work goes a long way. I didn't purchase on my first visit as it was my second visit I'd do so! Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and I felt as if I were at home! This has been an unbeatable experience! Stopped in looking for something that gets better mileage than my '98 Wrangler as a daily driver. Met Matt Owens in the lot and told him what I was looking for. He showed me around the used car lot and answered my questions about several cars. I really liked a 2013 Honda Civic but the price was about $2K above my budget. Matt did not pressure me at all but encouraged me to make an offer. I did and in a stress free environment we negotiated a price I was comfortable with.If you're looking for a new or used car you should stop by and see what Farris has. Probably the worst car buying experience ever. I have poor credit and was lured in by the ads saying they would finance anybody. Every time I went to discuss they kept asking for higher and higher down payment. The sales person lied about how much better it waa for me to buy there rather then a buy here/pay here because a vehicle from farris would come with an inhouse warranty against my getting a piece of crap car, which is exactly what I was sold. Within two months of buying a car there I have had smoke coming out from under the car while going up a hill, flickering dash lights, check engine light that remains on, two tires blow out, and breaks already grinding. I was told by salesman that there was a full size spare which was found to be a donut that doesnt hold air long enough to get to mechanic. The door molding is falling out and there is something in the driver side door rolling around. The last two issues were brought up when I bought the car but never addressed again. It was like here's your car now go home. I felt pressured to buy the car as it was basically the only thing I was offered to buy. My other option was a small ford which I told them wouldn't work and then a Nissan that had to be jumped to start and then sounded like the rear axle was dragging just driving across the parking lot!

Purchased vehicle from Farris. Was directed to a sales rep Matthew Owens. Nicest young man I have dealt with. Was down to earth, forthright and caring. Spent the day helping me get the right car for the right price. I left very satisfied. All the sales reps there were attentive and friendly. My husband and I were dreading shopping for a new (or new to us) SUV. When we got to Farris Motor Company, we were immediately greeted by Josie. He talked to us about what we were looking for, and quickly put as at ease. He was very nice, and never pushed us into anything we were uncomfortable with. We ended up with a brand new Dodge Journey, which fit our needs and our price point exactly. It's almost as if Josie could read our minds and led us right to the perfect car for us. The entire experience was completely painless, and only took a few hours.

We told them several times that we didn't want to drive the 60 miles to their dealership just to be denied. We have them all out information and told us they could get us approved. After spending 2 hours there, we were denied. If you have questionable credit don't let them bait you in and waste your time.

We went in with no expectations, our credit use to be really good but our little girl had to have surgery and emergency care, all the hospital bills and doctor bills pilled up and our credit was ruined, in just 6 short months. Mr. Farris called and got someone to take a chance on us. They got our payment where we needed it. I honestly didn't think it would happen. it took a while, but we drove off with a brand new 2016 Jeep Patriot. It's our first ever New vehicle, the last car we bought a year and a half ago was a used one from another car place we got screwed over which is why we needed something else.

After viewing a car on Autotrader, I contacted the dealership. I was told that they would hold the car until I could get there because I live over two hours away. The salesman took down my name, number, and time I would be arriving in order to be sure she would be ready for me. After traveling for two hours, I am led out to the lot and they can't find the car. The salesman I had previously talked to had left for the day! After awhile, they discover that it had been sold an hour ago! They had taken my name and number so they didn't even bother to call me and save me my time and gas while on the way! This is not to mention the fact that I was lied to and misled that the car was being held until I could get there. This is ridiculous and very poor business! They did offer to fill my car up before leaving...really?! Ten dollars for over four hours of my time after you lied. They had an identical car to the one I had called about(just a different color) but wanted $1,000 more for it. I believe that the dealership tries to get you there to try to make a sale by any misleading tactic possible. Very disappointed and will not recommend this dealer to anyone.

Buying a car from Farris Motor Co was a pleasant experience. Of all the new and used vehicles that we have purchased in my lifetime I must say that this, by far, was the most enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Farris Motor Company to anyone, we had a great experience and we will be back for future purchases. My boyfriend and I were there March 10 and our salesman Josey was very honest and upfront about the options in our budget and sat down with us and broke down our credit report. He didn't try to sell us something that was out of our range and was very helpful. Everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to from our salesman Josey to the finance staff. Even when the chances were slim of me getting the car I truly wanted Farris made it happen and I drove off the lot in my dream car, a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Thank you Farris!!

If you are looking for a vehicle, I would highly recommend Farris Motor Company.. DeSham Walker was our rep and he did an outstanding job and was very professional. We had a special situation and everyone at the Dealership bent over backwards to help us. I purchased a used vehicle at Farris motor company yesterday to have as an extra vehicle at the house to save miles on my other vehicles. The staff at the dealer was wonderful right from the start and continued from there. My experience was very personably and low pressure and every question I had was answered promptly and precisely. The wonderful service continued to sales mangers and the finance department where I was taken care of quickly even though I was paying cash which finance people usually don't like cause it is not helping them any. It did not matter at this dealership you are taken care of the same either way with great service and a friendly face. I had a great experience and I will be a return customer in the future. I would also recommend this dealer to anybody I know.

Awful despicable people. Sold us a lemon knowing it was a lemon. Told us it was our problem after the fact. They knew we had a bad Ford Focus with all the recall problems and sold us an FJ cruiser with a leaking windshield and a bad wheel hub bearing. We contacted them the next business day considering they claimed they did a 100 point inspection they wasted our time having us bring the vehicle back so they could repair it (1,000 mile round trip) and then said not our problem. They are the definition of "used car salesman". Will not stand behind their product. After paying out the rear for the repairs ourself to get our "new" car drivable and safe the repairing mechanic said any idiot that inspected it would have known about those issues and several others. We were sold a lemon at 1,000 over high retail. Hope they sleep well since this incident ruined our children's Christmas. NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!! TELL ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!!

Went to them in a need for a newer car due to the fact that our existing vehicle was dying and we we're putting too much money into it to keep it going even though it was a newer car. We told them the situation that we were in with our current car and said we needed something reliable. So after shopping for one in particular we noticed a noise and I asked what it was and they thought it might be a tire rubbing noise or whatever. We purchased the vehicle and started to head home and noticed that the noise got worse. The next day after it had rained we noticed it was leaking through the front trim around the glass. This was over the weekend after we bought it. So as soon as Monday came we called them first thing that morning. They said to bring it in and they would check these issues out. I was working out of town in Mississippi about 500 miles away. I made a 1000 mile round trip just to find out after all of that they would not do anything about the noise which ended up being a front wheel hub bearing and the front window ended up being a trim piece that was installed wrong. They said that the bearing should survive, well my wife had to go and pick it up due to the fact they said that it could not stay on their property. She drove it 50 miles back home and in they time the bearing overheated and started to freeze up which scared her to death. We took it to another mechanic and had the bearing replaced and we told them all that had happened and they could not believe that a more known dealer would due that and most of these mechanics used to work for big dealers in the area. The mechanics at the place where we had it replaced went through the vehicle and asked who went through it during their inspection cause anybody that knows anything would have caught theses issues and a couple of others that they noticed. Long story short do not go here if you want service after the sale. They basically said not their problem. We brought these issues up to the dealer the very next business day.

Wonderful dealership, very very helpful. Found me the perfect Jeep with everything I wanted and asked for. My experience with this dealership was excellent. I by no means have good credit and was just looking for a used vehicle I have been to buy here pay here lots from Knoxville, Morristown and in between. I filled out the credit app online and they called the next morning and I went in. I figured a used car but never expected to drive away in a 2016 dart with a payment around $100 more a month than a 2003-2005 model car at the buy here pay here lots with actually less money down. Desham Walker was our sales rep he was easy to deal with and joke and talk with like family. He went out of his way and back and forth with management to get us what we wanted for the payment we could afford. Jason Farris stopped and introduced himself and shook our hands and you don't see too many owners get on a personal level with customers. After the deal was struck we dealt with Jamie in finance he was a pleasure to deal with also and easy to talk with. Boils down to as soon as I get the car paid off I'll be going back to get a truck. It asks below if I researched any of certain items.I did not research any of the products because I wasn't expecting a new vehicle but they did go over all that with me.

My husband and I recently started shopping around at many other dealerships trying to find the right vehicle for my family. We saw an ad on their (Farris Motor) website and decided to go check it out. This dealership had a completely different attitude than other dealerships we have visited. They actually helped us get what we wanted, they listened to our needs and wants and worked very hard to ensure that what we looked at is something that we actually wanted. They were not pushy at all. I am so happy with our purchase and the experience we received. What a great experience! Buying a car was something I have been dreading for months. We were on our way to a different dealership when we decided to swing by the Farris lot to take a look at their inventory. Turns out, they had exactly what I wanted! They did not treat me the way every other dealership has. I hate the games they play and the pressure they put on to make a sale at most dealerships. It wasn't like that at all with Brian Andresen! He was patient with me and helped to work through all my questions. At no time did I feel like I was buying the car for anyone but myself. Kind, friendly, and fantastic customer service!Did I mention that Farris himself came to congratulate me on the purchase of my pre-owned 2015 Nissan Versa? What a great personal touch. I see myself buying all future cars from these great folks and recommending them to anyone else looking to purchase!

From the moment we pulled in the parking lot, my husband and I were greeted by Matt Owens and treated with respect. We had a wonderful experience from everyone that we encountered and will absolutely tell our friends/family that may need a car to come see you all. Buying a car is a very important and sometimes stressful thing to do, and you all made it a great experience. When we left the lot and were on the way home, we did realize that the rear speakers did not work, and the key charger did not work as well (not a huge problem and we were not upset by any means, after all it is a used vehicle), we immediately called our salesman and he was very apologetic and told me he would contact me the following day (the dealership had closed soon after we left) to take care of the problem. I received a phone call the very next morning from Matt as promised and a date was scheduled for us to bring in the vehicle. We also dealt with Jason who test drove the vehicle we were trading in, and talked with us concerning our financial options. We are very happy with our vehicle, and although we are hoping it will be a few years before we need another car, because of how professional and well treated we were, we will definitely be back. We appreciate all of you.

We bought our first ever new car from them. They treated us great like family wanted one color but could only get another. Worked a miracle for us with the credit we have. At the age of 22 you hear a lot of things; credit score effects availability, you need full coverage insurance to drive away with a car, down payments, and as an everyday working Joe still in his early years these things really concerned me. To make this short yet true. I went there looking for a used good car. being on disability I only had so much I could spend and sure didn't want payments. when I pulled up to my surprise a young man walked up to me welcoming me. matt was very friendly and respectful. I told him what I was looking for. he took me and showed me what they had to offer for what I had. the one I wanted was a bit more than what I had but Mr. Farris worked it out for me so I could get it. if you are looking for honest friendly salesman go see Matt Owens at Farris Motor. He is a great young god fearing young man . He will help you in any way he can. It has been two weeks and I will never forget that honest and nice looking young man.

I had a horrible experience, the salesman was nice but that's it, I had brought my vehicle to trade, and had heard several commercials about being the dealer for the people, and how u only need $7.00 down or $12.00 down, so we drive almost 2 hours to get there after having a horrible experience rite down the Rd. I talked to the sales lperson I did my application on line there was a guarantee they could help us, then we get there wait around for 3+ hours just to be told yes I'm approved but.... We have to have $1000.00 down???? Really because that's not what the advertisements were saying, and then when we go to leave I told them that I was told if we didn't get a vehicle they would help us with gas money but when the time came to leave they told us nope they don't do that, so I called as soon as we left and Complained, and they told me that yes they do in fact give u some gas for ur trip, she was suppost to be calling me back the following Monday to see what they could do I've never heard from them since.....

My wife and I just got out of bankruptcy in December didn't think we would be able to get a newer car. Josh did it he was awesome and our salesman Kyle was awesome also. Just recently purchased a used vehicle from Farris Motor Company, and I must say that this was the best car buying experience ever. Our salesman was Leon, and he was great. He took his time with me, and was very accommodating. I never felt pressured in anyway, and I was treated with such great customer service. At Farris they go above and beyond to insure the best experience possible. I would highly recommend Farris Motor to all of my friends and relatives. And may I suggest that you ask for Leon, because he will do you right before, during, and after the sale.

Ben was a very friendly and down to earth person, We had dome great discussions. I was never under any pressure which is what I hate when buying a car. I think they did the best deal possible the first time so there was no shock or frustration. Very smooth at every point in the deal and the wait was not too bad as they were pretty busy. Love getting J.W 's personal cars as we now have two of his in the garage. Have bought many cars here over the years and will continue to do so and make recommendations to people in the future.

I did not really know if I wanted or needed to buy a new truck, I just stopped to look. Josh the sales manager let me walk around a few minutes then he came out. He referred me to Ben Hensley and they assisted me with NO PRESSURE. Like I said I was not sure if I needed a new vehicle. They gave me honest numbers for my trade and the new vehicle. I could not make the numbers work for me. I came back the next business day and we picked up where we left off with the help of Shane. After some time and much compromise on the Dealer's part, we came to a great conclusion---WITH NO PRESSURE. I got a beautiful New Truck. I did not think I would buy a New vehicle again. Great experience!!

I waited for the automobile I wanted to test drive as it was being repaired at a different location. I am so glad I waited as I feel that this is the car God had picked for me and I believe that He sent me to Farris Motors for this one. The whole team at Farris has been most helpful from the start and have kept their word on everything we discussed before the purchase was finalized. I cannot say enough for these folks and how they treat a customer; like they want him/her to be a repeat customer not a one-shot deal.

I originally went to Farris Motors because I was interested in a Granite colored 2014 Charger that was posted on their website. I got there at opening time Monday morning and to no avail the car was already bought. I met with Randall Vaughn and he told me he would try and locate one that color if that is what i was wanting. He tried several places in a 200 mile radius but the ones listed had been sold as well :( They did have a Bullet Silver Charger with all the same features in the lot but was higher priced then the one i saw online. He was able to give me that one at the sale price of the one i originally wanted and we went to work on financing uggggggg!!!! My credit isnt the best because of a messy divorce several years ago and was trying to rebuild once again. I was expecting a 10 - 12% interest rate, but when i told him the maximum i felt comfortable paying for payments he came back with out going over that payment I wanted and got me a 5.99% interest rate!!!! I about had a heart attack!!! Needless to say I left at 11:30 with my First ever "Brand New" car and it was a CHARGER no less!!!!!!! The whole staff there was very friendly and I felt very comfortable there. Not like any of my experiences i have had at other dealerships in the past!!!!! I will highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle at Farris Motors!!!!!!

Salesman was very patient and supportive (No pressure). The finance staff actually got us a better interest rate on our loan than we had expected. Warranty and maintenance incentives along with this being the exact vehicle we were looking for made our experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend Farris Motor Company as a dealer and Brandon Harbin as a salesperson. It sure was nice to hit that Gong before we left.

I had been looking for a vehicle for about 3 months and had encountered nothing but rude and pushy salesmen. After hearing from a friend that had just purchased a car there about Jason Farris being the Dealer For The People and how her experience there was totally different than she had ever experienced anywhere else I was intrigued. At the dealership, I encountered the best experience I have ever had at a car lot. Mr Farris helped my salesman during the entire process and they focused on meeting my needs and budget. I never felt pushed or like I was being sold to, only that they were trying to help me find the perfect car to fit my needs. And they did, I now have a perfect 2011 Jeep Liberty and would recommended anyone to try Farris. They truly are different, and their commercials do not lie. They are the dealer for the people!

Farris Motor is a family run business with small town values and character. My story is about an experience that I had at Farris Motor and will never forget. I was having my Jeep serviced on a Tuesday morning, when I received a call that my 11 year old daughter had been in an accident. If you have children, you know that a call like this will stop your world dead in its tracks and then it starts to spin out of control. I ran into Jason Farriss office, where Randall Vaughn and Jamie Piquet were also standing. I told them of my daughters accident and that I needed to go Gainesville, FL immediately. There were no words spoken. The three of them took off running. The next thing I knew, someone had pulled a car up to the door and they were throwing my belongings in, placing a tag on it, and putting me in. Off I went with no more than a drive safe. In hindsight, Im sure it looked like a Nascar pit stop. I drove to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL where I stayed for two and a half weeks. Mike French, the Internet Marketing Manage,r called periodically to see how my daughter was doing and relay it to others at Farris. After two and a half weeks with their vehicle, I returned. They never asked for a dime. The morning that I was in for service, I only knew the folks at Farris as the people who sold me a car. They only knew me as a customer. When my emergency arose, the true character of this family owned dealership came out. There was not a moments hesitation when I asked for help. I will never forget the compassion displayed that day. BUYER BEWARE. The people that have had a postive experience with this dealer are very lucky. In January 2012 I purchased a 2005 Mercury Montego for farris motors within a week I started experiencing problems with the vehicle. I just assumed that this was how the car drove. In April 2012 i took the car to a mechanic and was told that I needed a brand new transmission at a price of $3750. This is after I was told by Jason farris and Marvin Houston that the car had undergone a through 156 oppoint inspection and all service had been done. So after owning the car for 4 months I am now stuck with a car payment on a car that I can not drive all because I took the word of the salesmaen at the dealership. They have told me that they can help me with repairs if I bring them $2050. They are going to cover a whole $450 of the repairs on a transmission they found with a cost of $2500. So anyone considering buying vehicle from these scammers do yourslef a favor and have an independent mechanic throughly inspect the vehicle before purchase. Despite what the website and the sales people say vehicles on this lot are not throughly inspected. They are just out to make a dollar.

This dealership will take all of your down payment and use it for extended warranties, gap insurance, and whatever else they want to tack on without you knowing. Stay far away from this dealer. Tart Chevrolet is right next door and you will have a much better experience. The service department at Farris Motor Company does a great job servicing vehicles. They are a little pricey, but so far it seems to be worth it.
