Faulkner was certainly accommodating from my first telephone call inquiry. They had a car that met my needs and took the time to walk me through an understanding of its capabilities, including a test drive. I was very comfortable the sales person Matt and we closed the sale that same day. Matt was conscientious to a fault in making sure we tried everything. I am very happy with the performance and driving capabilities of my purchase, an Ioniq Hybrid.

My experience was awesome. Some needed service was pointed out which raised my spending budget significantly and left me skeptical about having the much needed work done. Matt Ingalsbe did everything he could to find the car I wanted at the best price (I showed deal to 8 different dealers and none could match or find the car in color We wanted) and it came earlier than they original thought. That was no problem they kept it until I could get there and did not use a test drive vehicle! Would definitely use them again. In addition, the financing was lower then could find elsewhere. Would buy from them again.

Once again I have taken my Chrysler 300 To Faulkner Hyundai this time for inspection. Of course as usual they got me in an out in a snap! And I got a car wash to top it all off! The service department is absolutely amazing! Amy is magnificent! Always there to lend an ear or a hand! I don’t care what kind you have they can fix it! That’s a great team over there y’all really need to check it out! Or for that matter if you want to buy a car that’s the place to go! I recommend Faulkner Hyundai to anybody and everybody who wants great service and a great car!

I walked in wanting to hate the Santa Fe Sport so I could buy the Subaru that I really thought I would have liked more than I did. The Santa Fe Sport fit me better, was better designed and the layout of the controls were exactly where everything should be. Kevin was awesome, listened and got me the vehicle that fit my needs.

I feel like anytime I try to have a warranty item repaired, they are completely unable/unwilling to help me. This is not a one-off issue for me either. I've purchased 3 brand new hyundai's in the last 6 years, and every time I've taken one of these vehicles in for random issues, they fail at fixing the problem. You would think a repeat customer, like myself, would be valued a bit more. Extremely disappointed with this place, and my only assumption is that they want to wait until your warranty is up to fix whatever is wrong.

Professional and friendly sales staff. Faulkner Hyundai had the best price around and the best selection of vehicles in the model we were looking for. The salesman didn't accompany us on the test drive like most dealerships do, which was nice. Absolutley no pressure to make the sale.

In review I would definitely return to Faulkner Hyundai for a third vehicle. The service is friendly and efficient, they set me up with my next appointment that very day. I have had assistance retrieving my two young granddaughters from the car and their car seats, you don't get that service everywhere! I am offered coffee, tea, or water or transportation to the mall or restaurant. They are very accommodating. The sales department is very friendly and efficient. I received a call every time they thought I needed to know something, they took care of every detail of the sale, went over the car and how everything works with me before sending me on my way with a full tank of gas and a new pin stripe as well as a clean car. I was called that evening to make sure that I made it home safely. Great! Really enjoyed working with them again, and I will be going back for service calls every 3 months.

My husband and I love Faulkner Hyundai. This is our third Hyundai from Faulkner. The sales and service staff are very friendly, professional, and accommodating. We first came into the dealership thinking of buying a Sonanta but I feel in love with an Elantra instead. Todd Grier had me driving out in the Elantra I love. He gave us a good value for our trade in (my 2013 Hyundai Sonata) which made my new Elantra all that more affordable. The service staff at Faulkner make it almost a pleasure to get my Hyundai serviced. I take advantage of the van shuttle to go to The Harrisburg Mall. This is a treat because I live far from any mall. It's nice to have a fully-serviced, newly-washed car to drive home once I am done shopping. Would I come back to Faulkner again to buy my fourth Hyundai? Of course, I can't imagine going anywhere else!

My husband and I had a GREAT experience at the Harrisburg Hyundai Dealership. We worked with your associate, Devin, who spent a good amount of his time with us answering the many questions we had. He was very patient with us and explained everything in full detail. We ended up buying 2 cars from him and also brought our parents with us to pick up our vehicles and they also bought a vehicle from him as well. He was very professional and courteous of our time. This was a big decision for us and he stayed after closing hours to assist us. He went above and beyond the stand measure for a car sales man in my previous experiences at dealerships. We would highly recommend the dealership as well as our salesman, Devin to our family and friends for future purchases and leases.

Brought our truck there to be cleaned because a company spilled restaurant grease all over the road and I had to drive through it to avoid hitting on coming traffic.The mess was all over and under my truck and smelled horrible. We were told to bring it here to be cleaned.Picked it up,wasn't cleaned right and still stank really bad and to boot all had a nice size screw in my back tire from the car lot where it was parked!

I had my Subaru Crosstrek repaired after 2 accidents at their collision center. I felt like they were part of my family by the time I picked my car up yesterday. Not only do they do amazing work, but Helen Hart in the front office has the patience of a saint and is an absolutely wonderful person. Russ who was in charge of the last repair was extremely thorough, kept me in the loop and my battered car looks like new! It was finished when promised and I could not be happier. My first accident I was hit with a Fed-Ex tire and pretty shaken up. Helen Hart was so gentle and patient. You can tell she really cares and understands what you are going through. Todd Kuhn the Manager was extremely helpful, made sure everything was taken care of and my car came out like new. I highly recommend this team as an experienced and professional team that will make your car like new again.

Did not feel pressured into buying something I didn't want. Glad to see a donut spare tire added. This was not provided with my husband's 2015 Elantra. I do wish the salesman would have pointed out that there was no CD player.

We had a great experience overall. We got to test drive right away. There was no pressure to purchase on our first visit, we made it clear we were just looking. When we came back to make our purchase the experience was fine with negotiations and signing. The only part I didn't enjoy was going in the office to talk about insurance and added fees. I felt a bit pressured and uncomfortable.

People were friendly at the dealership. The car is great, love the features it has, such as- bright interior lights, Hi beams lower when car approaches and then back to Hi after it passes, while on cruise control the car will brake if another car pulls in front of you. One thing that was disappointing was my husbands I-phone isn't new enough to take advantage of linking it to the car.

I purchased my Subaru through Faulkner Subaru. I wanted a Subaru for it's ability to drive in snow conditions. Where my husband, Daryl and I live, we need either front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive to get to our home. I was able to walk right up the ridge with no problems the past 2 years and hope to continue to have great service from this Legacy. The repairs I had done were excellent and the staff at Faulkner Body Works were extremely nice, very helpful and very accommodating. The ladies in the front office know their jobs well and if I could give them a raise I would. Signed a very happy customer!

My day at Hyundai started with me just thinking i was getting an oil change on my 2011 Elantra. As soon as i walked in the door, Jayson Bailey was right there and ready to help. He simply asked what he could help me with today. I then, went ahead and told him i needed an oil change and maybe a license plate light repair. He without hesitating, had me all set up to be in an out. While waiting, i fell in love with the 2016 Veloster in the show room. He saw my interest in the vehicle and was there to help me with any questions i had. I had questions from gas mileage, to vehicle safety, to asking him on how turbo works, because lets face it i am a 24 year old and have no idea what turbo would be like in a car. Jayson, without any hesitation, answered all my questions and then some making myself aware of what all i am getting out of this car. That is when i was sold! He knew the product he was offering and he did it in a manner that wasn't pushy or "salesman" like, he did it with humanity. I would recommend Hyundai vehicles to anyone at anytime, and i highly recommend going to see, Jayson Bailey, at Faulkner Hyundai in the beautiful Harrisburg, PA!

I was very pleased with the service I received with my new vehicle purchase, Daniel Grabski was very professional and accomodating and found the exact vehicle I wanted in the color I wanted within a short amount of time. He even got me a rental vehicle for one day when I sold my car and picked up my new car the following day! He went above and beyond answering questions I had and going over the details of the vehicle. I appreciate everything he did to make my purchase possible and I love my Sante Fe Sport! We were initially happy with the communication from the dealership. However when we experienced a problem with ants the dealership did take care of the problem but I had to wait over an hour to pick vehicle up after traveling an hour and the car was not ready .

I was greeted as I approached the door and was helped immediately to find the right car for me. The salesman was friendly and listened to my needs. He did try to steered towards a more basic model but I did not hold that against him as I had stressed the fact that I wanted a low monthly payment. As soon as I mentioned that I really wanted cruise control he turned around and pulled up the car that I eventually purchased. He also showed me a copy of your survey and explained that any adverse comment would make him fail. Although I did not appreciate him doing this, it does seem harsh as I was otherwise happy with him, the finance guy and my car.

I was very pleased from the time I stepped into the dealership until the time I drove off with my new vehicle. Staff is professional, friendly and not pushy. Jayson, my salesman, was always a text or phone call away for any questions I had. The financing part was smooth and I was in and out in a nice amount of time. Being a first time leasee, Todd did a fantastic job of getting the car I needed in the right price. Dan the sales guy was really patient. I came there looking for a used car and left with a new one. He didnt suggest new but informed me of the cash back and finances available; new was the best way to go for me. The finance guy was great also. I've never bought an extended warranty before but after he explained it to me I saw that things have changed since the last time I bought so I went with it. I am VERY satisfied with the vehicle so far and definitely with the people at Faulkner Hyundai

The entire staff at Faulkner was very professional and helpful. I feel they go "out of their way" to make the car experience an excellent one. They are thorough and explain everything clearly, answering any and all questions honestly and completely. The staff I worked with was excellent. However, all members of the staff that I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. I felt very at ease though the entire process. I would recommend Faulkner without hesitation. My salesman, Jayson Bailey, did an excellent job and provided a stress-free experience.

I have leased my second Hyundai Sonata through Faulkner Hyundai. First was 2013 and now I have a 2015. The salesman are on your side and willing to help you get closer to the deal you have been looking for. Both times my monthly payments have been lower than I expected them to be! Customer service is friendly and great and I have not had any bad experiences there yet. When I turned in my first car, I had no bill and went directly on to lease another Sonata.

I was very annoyed with the lady at the repair shop she did not talk nice when I went to pick my vehicle I told her I had ins with faulkner plus my own ins. and had brought the vehicle in prior to repairs and i had talked to the sales person about it. The deductable sales person said that Faulkner would take care of it. The lady at the repair shop rudely said here sign these papers and if they don't take care of it you are going to pay it out of your pocket.

This is a review for Faulkner Body Works. Administratively, they were very easy to deal with. Helen was clear in her instructions and thorough in every thing she did for us, from communicating handling of drop-off and rental pickup/drop-off and what paperwork needed to be dealt with.Our collision repair on the Outback was caused by getting rear-ended at a stop light by a much larger, fully occupied, school van. The cosmetic repairs were perfect, the car looks great.My only complaint is that in the discussion around getting the estimate done, checking the alignment and making sure it was good was mentioned a couple of times by the Faulkner guy doing the estimate. But time for checking the alignment (and performing alignment if necessary) never got onto the quote. Shame on me for not noticing this until I reviewed the bill at the dealer and learned that they hadn't done an alignment nor checked it.While I accept that I missed it on the estimate, we trusted the car experts to know what needed to be done. I haven't asked one car professional since that would agree to just drive it without having the alignment checked after a rear-end collision. So that was disappointing. We had purchased the Outback at Faulkner Subaru (affiliated dealership).

I needed to purchase a car because my car was totaled- I didn't need a big hassle I knew exactly what I was looking for and wanted. Just wanted bottom line price. I worked with Jayson Bailey, explained my situation he returned my call with a satisfactory price and with the options I was looking for. Drove over 100 miles to see a truk based on its 4 pics and description. Conviently they didnt put up pics of the rotted rear fender on the drivers side or the body rot on same side. Not to mention this truck was not stick though the description said it was, which would have been a deal breaker. Same with the rust. Yesterday they said 15 or so people called and came to look at said truck. No wonder no one purchased it. It listed for 13k and as i was leaving the manager had his one guy ask me if they took off 1200 if i was interested. I told him if the truck was pristine minus the bed then yes and also said they would be lucky to get 9500 for the truck. Over all a waste of my time.

The overall experience was exceptional. We came to this dealership for several reasons: the Hyundai dealership in York was being deceptive in their price/interest quotes; the salesperson sounded very disinterested in making a sale to us; and the salesperson also talked to me like I was stupid because I'm only 23. We brought our business to the dealership in Harrisburg because they offered us an amazing price for the exact same car we were looking at in York with no hassles and they were much friendlier than the other dealership. I'm very happy with the vehicle and financing yet was surprised by the extra costs of what they recommended, realizing it was my fault for not inquiring how much those extras they recommended were going to add on to the initial costs. However, I'm smarter now and will be more aware of it the next time I purchase a vehicle. This added on nearly $9K more which upped the monthly payment from $429 to $511.

I bought my first Hyundai last week from Faulkner. What a great experience. Great service. Great deal. Great car. I wanted to take delivery before the end of September to take advantage of the September rebates, but I couldn't take off from work mid-week to close the deal. My salesman, Mr. Grier, arranged to have the car delivered to me in Upper Marlboro, MD, 125 miles away. The driver came in a driving rain then drove my 14 year old trade in back to Harrisburg in a downpour!! Amazing service. Love my new car. I have owned Saturns for the last 20 years because I loved the way they did business. I was so sorry to see that brand go away. I really like the car. The sales rep was wonderful and patient as this was my first car purchase. However, he did get wrong that the car had key fobs (it doesn't). It's not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice.There is one thing that really frustrates me. We didn't know there was a crack in the top of the rear bumper until we had signed and went out to pick up the car. The used car manager apparently knew about the crack (it is a significant crack, I'm not sure how we missed it), and didn't tell the rep or us about it during the process.Now they're claiming I have to pay to fix the bumper, which, in my opinion, is just bad business. Who sells a car with a crack in the bumper and not tell the people who are looking at it? I do really like the car, but now I'm wondering what else they skimped on and just didn't tell me.

About a week ago, I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT from salesman, Shane Smith. I also worked with finance manager, Justin Darosh. Both of these men were a pleasure to deal with. They made my first new car buying experience relatively comfortable, low stress and low pressure (as much as it can be with such a large purchase). I didn't think that I could afford to buy a brand new car, however they worked with me to make the car I wanted financially attainable. My only complaint is that the cleaning crew had ample time to properly prepare my new car, and the cleaning job was subpar. Overall, I am pleased with my experience at Faulkner Hyundai. I hope this continues past the purchasing process into the maintenance and service that will be required in the future.

Amber was my contact person for this service date. She was very courteous, up front (when we were discussing the need for new tires) and provided a discount to me when I forgot to print out a service coupon. The check-in process is very fast, signing up for a shuttle ride to work is a snap & checking out upon completion of the service is just as quick as checking-in. I purchased a new left over 2014 Hyundai Accent GS. The sales man was outstanding! The finance department got me what I could afford. and was asked for. The car was sent to be cleaned and after an hour , after an hour the sales man went and get it. However it wasn't done very well, leaves and dirt under the hood, windows had a film on it inside and out. Sales man was very apologetic, but I wanted to get on my way.

The first experience with the service department was not too bad. The second time I went onto their website to make my appointment for an oil change and I had an issue with my rain guard and put on the appointment scheduler to have someone call me about this. No one called me back. I went in for the appointment & asked about that & was told that the call back issue on the website doesn't work. Because they was an issue with their website I had to sat at the dealer for over several hours to they could fix the issue I asked them to call me about. So this time I called for an inspection appointment. I had issues with my car starting so I called & left a voice mail message on Sunday, but I also called back on Monday to see if they could look at it the day I was bringing it in for inspection which was only a few days away. They asked me if I want to come in a different time - I said no I coming in the 19th to have my car inspected & can't they look at it then. They said yes. I walked in the 19th to drop my car off and they said about the inspection only. I said what about the battery issue that I called in twice about. They had nothing down that I called about it on the work order. My sister was with me when I made the first call & left a message on the voice mail. Next issue is that I made an appointment for 10 a.m. I had my car there around 9:30 and left with a friend to go shop & have lunch while my car was suppose to be worked on at 10. The reason I left because I didn't want to sent their for the 1 1/2 hour that my car was suppose to be worked on - I could get something else done in that time frame. I came back at 12:30 p.m. & my car was not done, was not even pulled in yet to be serviced. I had to sit there for another 1 1/2 hour till my car was done. No one asked me when I wanted my car back. I assumed that if you make an appointment for 10:00 a.m., that the car will be pulled in for service close to that time not 2 1/2 hours later. Why make an appointment if you car is not going to be service around that time you make the appointment for? So if you drop your car off, make sure you understand when you will be getting your car back and make them send you something in writing about items you want checked on while the car is in for service or print off the schedule appointment on their email with your comments on it so when you go in and they act like they don't know what you are talking about, you have proof that you did inform them of any addition items you want check out. My time is as valuable as anyone else. The service manager did come talk to me about the issues and apologized to me which was nice. I usually give businesses/people 3 chances. We will see how the next time is.

I had my 2014 Santa Fe in for my 1st maint service. No issues were found with my vehicle and battery test was satisfactory. The next day the SUV doesn't start- the battery is dead. I took the vehicle back to Faulkner service and they were reluctant to check the vehicle to see what's wrong and displayed an "attitude".In the past I always had a positive experience here. That's why I went back and purchased my 2nd Hyundai there. Now I'm wondering if I made the right choice!

I had a scheduled appointment for a recall and an oil change. It was very convenient to schedule my appointment online using their online scheduling service. Checking my car in was very easy and the check-in clerk was very friendly and helpful. During the appointment, it was recommended that I have my air filters changed and windshield wipers replace. Both of which I suspected would need serviced. My car was complete within an hour. The wait was pleasant with a TV on a news channel, a variety of magazines to read, and the wifi password displayed for the customers convenience. The check-in clerk explained the bill and let me to the check-out counter.

Had previously brought my car in for an oil change and recall. While looking over my car last week I noticed that the oil was thick and had no been changed. When I brought the car back in for service it turned out that neither the oil change or recall had been taken care of. I also dealt with a less then stellar crew in the office who pressure you to provide them 10's. I'm also sick and tired of the sales team as they try to lock you in a room and sell you warranty after warranty in the sleaziest of ways. They try and wear you down as much as possible and have you make bad decisions. This car delearship is the reason why I hate buying or maintaining cars.

I have had my Elantra (2011) for about 3 years now. And from a great buying experience, to service, I am very happy with Faulkner Hyundai. They have a great staff and do very good work. I have never been disappointed by them. I recommend them highly. Had my car in the other day for a "Fall Special" oil change and a few other things, and they took great care of me.

This review is a few months late, only due to the fact that I was not aware of the DealerRater website. We were just looking/browsing at the brand new 2015 Sonatas and had no urgent need or intention of leasing one, since we still had 1 year remaining on our current Sonata lease. But upon test driving and looking over the new Sonata and having the dealership run us numbers, we decided that it was worth the upgrade. So the numbers is where things got complicated, the salesman, Todd Grier had taken all our information down, what we still owed, what the residual was, where we wanted to be price wise, and how much were willing to put down and came back with an acceptable monthly figure. They didnt have the exact car we wanted, but we were assured they could get it, so we made the deal. A few days later the car we wanted arrived and we proceeded to the dealership to make the trade. When we arrived to take possession and fill out the paperwork, we were informed that the numbers they told us previously were not what they thought and needed to be adjusted. So I thought a few dollars sure, I know the previous ones were close estimates. So we went from $387 a month estimate to $450 a month. Obviously this was not ok, as the new price was a deal breaker for us. They explained that the numbers we gave them on the payoff were not correct; however, we pulled them from the Hyundai finance website. Apparently, when the dealership went to check on the day of delivery, they discovered that during their initial work up of the estimate, they used a lesser amount than what was owed. The manger then got involved and again made it seem like it was our fault and not the salesperson who took all the info from us. In either case of the he said she said, they should have checked everything prior and not just throw the new figures on us right before delivery like it was no big deal. We were prepared to walk and were out the door when we were asked to stop by the sales manager. The manager came back and said that it would need to be a presidential decision at this point, since the numbers were off, the car was already dealer traded for we were ready to walk (because we loved the sonata we did have). The manager came back with a $400 a month deal, to which we reluctantly agreed to.After this point, the service from here on out was very poor and everyones attitude towards us was bad, even somewhat cold and hostile. The salesman was supposed to set up our free blue link trial but failed to do so. He said there was an issue and would contact us in a few days. After a few days we were not contacted and finally had to reach out to management. The salesmen called me back and actually did apologize and take responsibility, and said he would set it up. By this time I had given him our info on numerous occasions and I stated that we were previously Bluelink customers. Again another week goes by, nothing done. Email and call, no response, multiple calls to Bluelink customer service, they keep telling us the dealership has to set it up. Three weeks after that, still nothing. Had to reach out to management again, the salesperson finally then sets us up and everything and it is completely wrong. I dont mean a few things that could be missed, I mean everything, to the point it appeared intentional and almost like a last dig as I know he was in some hot water over this deal because he asked us not give him a bad rating on the survey. We did give him a good rating on the survey, only because we didnt want him to lose his job over this, but I wish I would have waited until everything was finished before doing so because 2 months later we are finally finished and we had to fix everything ourselves anyway because it was all wrong. Our trial was almost over by the time we got set up, which did not appear fair and nobody seemed interested in helping us out anymore. No problem, we will never return to Faulkner again, we have bought/leased 4 vehicles from them in 4 years, but this will be the last. Very poor customer service, accept from the president who seemed to understand that he had to do the right thing by a customer, but everyone else there, forget about it and dont look here for your next car.

Recall was to correct under body corrosion problems. Service was done in about 30 min. Suggested Recommendation:Dealer provides only coffee in the waiting room. It would have been nice to have to have a selection of sodas and tea.

I like my car. I was unhappy with the person that sold it to me as I was given information like for the insurance that I purchased. I was told it covered scratches, dents and glass. I found out that glass was not covered when I needed a windshield repair. As a matter the service person told me it could not be repaired and I would have to replace windshield. Safelite repaired my windshield and I have not had a problem with it. I had god service on 12/3 with inspection except I had to replace all 4 tires with less than 30,000 miles. This is not Faulkners fault but the tires on the cars are horrible, hydroplane and slide and spin even in light rain. I really want a hybrid but not sure if the information given that batteries are guaranteed for the life of the car? The upholstery is hard to keep clean! But I still love the comfort and the car itself. I would love to get a new one but not after having to put new tires on this one. Unless these new tires get switched to new car.

My wife and I have purchased 5 cars from Faulkner and 4 cars from Faulkner Hyundai. We can honestly say without any reservation we are completely satisfied with them. Chad Berger (sales Manager new cars) and Jason in sales as well as their finance lady (cant remember her name) actually delivered our car to us so we could spend family time.. They said the clearcoat peeled off when they pulled the tape off and blamed it on a previous repair. I also had a new winshield put in and when I picked it up there was small pieces of glass all over the dash. The lady in the repair office and the guy who gave me the original quote said " the cleanup guy isn't to bright" exact words! They also left the old weather stripping laying inside the car. I went in an asked if I needed this. They said no and once again said the cleanup guy isn't to bright. I got a wet rag from them and cleaned up the glass myself then left. Driving down the road I noticed the rear trunk separator was laying in the back seat. I called the office up and he apologized and said the cleanup guy must have forgot that also. I told him maybe he need to find a new cleanup guy since you keep telling me he isn't so bright. I will be looking for a better body shop who has more thorough repairs and doesn't blame mistakes on everyone else.

I first bought a used 2011 Hyundai sonata limited from them In August 2013. It was a push to start. Within 3 weeks I had taken the car back to them 4 times due to the push to start not working and I left being stranded. They even had to get the car towed to them 2 times. Each time i got it back they told me the problem was fixed and yet I found myself stranded once again because of this car. I missed work often because of this and it was just a terrible experience. Finally I told them I was done with the car and I didn't want it back. They did buy the car back and help me get into a new 2013 sonata but it was just a hassle. The salesman who sold me the car asked me not to fill out the survey I would get and in return he would give me a free tank of gas. I leased the car so I have to take it there for maintenance and the customer service there just sucks. I recently had to take my car there to get inspected, mind you I got the new car in October 2013 and the inspection had expired by June 2014. I dropped the car off in the morning and the shuttle service took me to work. I arranged with the driver to pick me back up during my lunch at 12 so that I could retrieve the car. 12:15 rolls around, no ride. I finally call them and ask them where my ride is in which they told me that they would call the driver and see where he was. 1230 rolls around and I get a call from the driver asking me if I needed a ride. By this time I had found a ride there and was already on my way. I can not stand these ppl. Their customer service sucks and so do their prices. When my lease is up I will NEVER get another car from them ever again. I hate this place

Bought a brand new 2013 Hyundai Elantra in July of 2012. The salesman was very helpful and I felt no pressure working with him. I appreciated the occasional phone calls from him ensuring I was pleased and if I had any concerns/questions. The one thing about Faulkner Hyundai that I am always amazed at is the high quality of customer service I receive and continue to receive there. I have taken my car for servicing to other dealerships, closer to where I live, but I happily take the extra 30 minute drive every time I need my oil changed/servicing due to the way I was negatively treated at other dealerships- I will never take my car anywhere else. At my most recent visit my service advisor helped answer numerous random questions I had about my car by bringing the mechanic over and I learned so much. I HIGHLY recommend Faulker- and I am Very Happy with my Elantra!

If I could rate this review a zero I would. High pressure sales.... When I bought my car three years ago from this dealer,I went to Hyundai and the sales rep then called me everyday for a week after I came in. I finally responded with 'if you call me again I will not be buying a car from this dealership'. She got the hint. Then when I decided to buy a car here, the salespeople messed up all of my paperwork on my car (put the wrong VIN on it). Finally, in June of 2014 my car died on highway. It seemed as though my alternator had died. Took it to this dealership (car was still under warranty or I would have never gone back). One month later my car which has been driven about 4 times since it was 'fixed', died AGAIN on the side of the road. I have a 2011 Sonata. I wish I would have never bought this car and dealt with this dealership. FAULKNER... TO BE UNSURE! P.S. 2015 Sonata's are recalled for wiring harness issues. Research before you purchase anything from here.

I went to Faulkner two weeks ago to buy a used car after having an aweful experience at another dealer earlier in the day. John listened to what I wanted and I ended up buying a beautiful mini van that was perfect for me. I had a problem with my insurance the following week, went back to see John, and he straightened it out for me. What an awful experience was trading my 07 Sonata in on a new Sonata found the car I liked on Sunday when they were closed went in let the salesperson walk me thru the process was got the deal and then it took over an hour to get my keys back was pressured into not thinking about the car I drove to Mechanicsburg and was treated with respect and a good deal I will now drive by Faulkner a few blocks From my house and have my car serviced at Freysinger I will never return

I understand buying a car is an ordeal, and I'm a moderately patient person. But this process has stretched me to my limit and I will no longer be recommending anyone to Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg. The people were nice enough, but always seemed to be slow on the uptake and out of answers. The process to actually purchase our used vehicle once we decided on it took 3 separate days - we actually went to the dealership THREE TIMES to 'pick up' our vehicle, waited over an hour each time (with a 3-year-old I might add) and twice we were told, 'sorry, I'm not sure what happened, but the paperwork isn't ready today.' Completely unacceptable. When we did end up driving away, we made an appointment for a minor repair to be done on the tire rim, something that was supposed to be done before we picked it up, but the part was delayed. We brought it in at the scheduled time, being told it would be a 15 minute fix. For 3 hours my husband sat and waited with our 3-year-old! It took over an hour and a half for them to even get to our vehicle, and we had a scheduled appointment! When they finally did it took them nearly two hours to make the repair, as opposed to the quoted 15 minutes. I am so dissatisfied with this service I can't even stand it - I understand everything takes time, but I would like to be well-educated as to what that time will ACTUALLY be instead of being led to believe it will be a quick in and out. My life, my family and our schedule is my top priority, and if my car dealership and service center can't see that, than something is missing.

Found a used Honda CRV online at Faulkner at a fair price compared to other dealerships. I drove 100 miles and salesperson Holly Beeman answered every question. They allowed me to drive the car all the way back home so that my local mechanic could check it out. He found one possible minor problem, and Faulkner dropped the price to compensate. I'd rather have my local mechanic do the fix. I wonder if other dealerships would allow their cars to be driven that far away. I'm very pleased with the vehicle, and I also received a year's worth of free oil changes and other free maintenance items that I plan to take advantage of. They also helped me get financing at a great rate for a five year old car.

Our salesperson Edgar Estrada was more than helpful especially sticking around showing me all online features and and helping creating logins the online services. He walked the all the features like bluelink, etc.... He took me through maintenance schedules, warranty agreements, and all the guarantees and services provided by Faulkner Hyundai. I know it was a late night for Edgar but you wouldnt have known that by the way he was so thorough with getting me set up in the car. Started looking on line at optimas but after several negotiations and several bad reports regarding service at the local Kia dealer where I would not buy but have service done I started looking at the Sonata-saw one on Faulkner's web site for their construction ad called and spoke to Howard who stated that the ad was no longer in effect but he would work very hard to get me at or close to the ad price. e-mailed him some stock numbers sent several prices and confirmed my eligibility for the rebates being offered. Stopped buy to look at the car at 1 PM I informed him where I wanted to be price wise and what I wanted for trade-in that was not present. Howard stated he would inform his managers and I stated I would be back shortly after 4 with the trade-in for evaluation. Prior to returning I e-mailed Howard and stated if I could get the prices I quoted him we would make deal. He then e-mailed me back and said his managers would accept the price I requested. Went there at 4:10PM and although I did not get exact amount I wanted on trade they did raise their initial offer $300 and it was very close to what I wanted as I priced it on KBB and Edmunds. Deal was done and out of the lot with a new Sonata in about an hour. There was no BS or pressure-painless transaction.

If you say no to an add on they say ok and do NOT push you to buy something you don't want, or need. In March of 2012, my wife and I traded in my 2003 Acura RSX on a brand new Hyundai Elantra. Our buying experience with Faulker Hyundai went reasonably well. Their showroom was clean, they had a good selection of vehicles to choose from, most of their employees were friendly and helpful, and we were able to work out a fairly good deal on our new car. When we purchased our new vehicle, we decided to add on the additional gap insurance, as well as an extended warranty, since we planned on keeping the car for many years to come. Unfortunately, after a few months of owning the Elantra, I was less than impressed. I missed driving a manual transmission and missed the sportiness of my previous car. So, we traded in the Elantra on a different make of vehicle at another dealership. It wasnt that there was something wrong with the car. It just wasnt what I truly wanted or what I was used to.Because we only owned the Hyundai for a few months, we were eligible to receive a sizable refund on both the gap insurance and extended warranty we purchased. I called Faulkner Hyundai FOUR times in an attempt to speak to someone about processing my refund, but none of my messages returned. After more than a week of trying to reach someone by telephone, my wife and I went back to the dealership, paperwork in hand, and met with someone in person to fill out the necessary documents for our refund. Again, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the gentleman from the finance department said we could expect to see our refund in 4-6 weeks. This in no way reflected the unreturned phone calls and messages we left and we were sure that at this point, someone would take care of the refund.After 7 weeks, we still had not received a refund but we have to admit that neither of us was surprised. We decided to call the gap insurance company directly to make sure they received the necessary paperwork from Faulkner. The woman on the phone explained that they received the cancellation in the first week of July (right on time), and that Faulkner should have been processing our refund. The woman suggested that we contact the dealership directly again. Since speaking with the gap insurance company, my wife and I have each called Faulkner repeatedly in an attempted to talk to someone at the dealership. We have asked for management, someone in the finance department, and even our salesman, but each time, we are sent directly to someone's voicemail. No one has ever made an attempt to contact us regarding this matter. It has now been well over two months since we signed the paperwork to receive our refund, and we are still waiting. We are growing frustrated and angry and wish we never spent a dime at that dealership. It is apparent that calling Faulkner will not be sufficient and we will have to pay another visit to the dealership if we want to speak to an actual human being.Faulkner may have a large selection of vehicles to choose from, and can give you a good deal due to the volume of vehicles they sell, but buyer beware. Once they've made the sale and you drive your new car off the lot, good luck getting them to acknowledge your existence. They were in touch with us every day, even several times a day prior to signing the paperwork to purchase the car, but since then, it has been a joke trying to get someone on the phone even to ask a simple question. In fact, most of the time, no one even answers the phone! It just rings and rings and rings.I can accept that it may take longer than expected to get my refund, but the fact that the Faulkner staff has repeatedly blown off our messages and even more, that they are clearly avoiding us, are the reasons that we would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used car. It looks like Hyundai's corporate office will be hearing from us. This treatment and level of customer service is completely unacceptable. Even if we did trade in their car to get something else, you would think they would still be concerned with their image and the possibility of referrals and return customers. Guess not in this situation.

This was a used Mitsubishi Eclipse and it was filthy when I arrived even though the dealership knew that I was coming to see it. The reason didn't become apparent until I bought it and it was washed. There were several dings and scrapes. I went for a drive with the salesman which was fine. However, he showed me absolutely nothing about the car. In fact, while leaving the dealership, the light came on signaling that the hatchback was not shut. I had to go into the dealership and ask how to open, then shut it. The finance person spent over an hour talking, making diagrams and graphs, and explaining to the point that I said, "I am zoning out." His response was a smile and, "That's OK." His mission was accomplished. He talked enough that I had no idea of what I was signing. I blame myself for not leaving when on several occasions I felt that things were not going right. However, I feel that this dealership is less than stellar in their dealings and certainly not caring about the comsumer.

bought a used car with Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg,developed a few problems right away!car was just serviced&inspected by them!Car had bad breaks air conditioner stopped working and developed a leak in a repaired tire!They would not own up to any repairs needed!!!said my mechanic was making it up to make money!I kept repaired parts to show them proof,they said the bad parts were off a different carthe one i bought from them!what jerks! STAY AWAY!!$700 later fixed!!

Bought a Genesis 2012. Sales person knew little about the car and the Hyundai policy. I had to inform him of policies since this was my 8th new Hyundai new car purchase. However this was my first time purchase at Faulkner. Freysinger Hyundai is more customer centric than Faulkner.

I had a wonderful expereince working with Faulkner Hyundai. I went there to look at the Elantra's, but none were available. So, I looked at the Sonata's, and to my surprise, it was comparible to the Elantra, and Jill was absolutely terrific in her knowledge of the vechile, options, etc. Not only did she help me, the whole team worked with me to ensure that test drive to financing. I would highly recommand this care dealer to anyone looking to purchase a Hyundai....expectional!!!

We were shopping around for a 2012 Elantra and just experienced several negative incidents at other dealers when we stopped at Faulkner on our way to our daughter's house. David Levitan greeted us and we told him we would like a test ride but could not do it that day but would be back on Monday 6-6-11. He said he would check incoming inventory to see if they had an Elantra like we wanted coming in. He confirmed they were getting a silver one in but did not have a date. We returned on Monday and took the test ride and decided to buy one. David informed us the silver one came in late Saturday so we purchased it and within 3 hours he had it cleaned, serviced, inspected and had pin stripes applied. Everyone at the dealer was friendly and they were truthful and straight with us from the beginning. One dealer we visited added $1,500.00 onto each Elantra due to "customer demand". Another wanted $795 for free lifetime inspection and car washes. No gimmics were offered at Faulkner.

I called in for internet pricing and was told that Holly Beeman would be expecting me. She came out to greet me before I even stepped out of my car. The black Elantra with gray interior, that I had called about was sitting there ready to test drive.Before we even started all the features were explained. Truth be that I have probably test driven almost every mid size - compact car that came on the market in the last 2 years so when I would be ready when it was time for a purchase. Not once has anyone ever went over the vehicle in such precise meaningful detail as Holly did before handing me the key. After a drive around town, and a decision to purchase on the spot. They did some number crunching to get a price and payment that would fit my budget. Because of good credit we were able to get an even better interest rate, than anticipated. Holly then gave me a "dealership tour" every one was like family. Maybe it was just a good day but everyone had a a smile on their face. Their tone of voice and body language was inviting. The friendly, professional atmosphere,superseded, the fact that the dealership was under construction for a remodel. In fact, I always ask my sales person how long they've worked there. Usually they grumble too long. This time I was blown away with the answer "I love my Faulkner Family... its a great place to work!...."During this time they took the Elantra to the "SPA". Meanwhile we went over all the information about the vehicle, in the booklets to see if I had any questions. Over the years I have made many purchases, at dealers for either myself our with my children. The information, I received with this purchase was quite frankly the most complete and informative that I have ever gotten. Before I drove off in my spit-shined new Elantra, Holly reviewed once again all the features of the car and offered support for any questions that may arise.Maybe it is just a womans touch, but the thoroughness, was unprecidented.Kudos to Holly! and Faulkner Hyundai

I went into Faulkner Hyundai to compare prices on a new 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I told the saleswoman immediately that I would NOT be purchasing that evening, but was comparing prices and trade-in values at several dealerships, and would be looking to buy within the next week or so. She and the sales manager proceeded to spend an hour trying to convince me to put money down on a car they had in their inventory (which was NOT even the car I wanted... it was a different color). Even after repeatedly reminding them that I would not be buying that evening, they did not listen and kept trying to get me to agree to a deal (again, on a car that was NOT what I wanted... and that I hadn't even seen at this point because it was in the service bay getting cleaned up for sale.) I finally got to see the car, and decided I still wanted the original color I was looking for, and they proceeded to try to convince me that the color they had there was a beautiful color that "everyone just loves". It was nice looking, but it was not what I wanted!The sales manager did nothing other than talk about how they are the largest Hyundai dealership in PA, and if they didn't have the car I wanted... no one would have it.... so I'd be an idiot not to jump on the deal they were offering me on the alternate vehicle. To top it off, the money they offered me for my trade-in was almost $1000 less than several other dealers offered. (To be honest, even if they had had the best deal, I would not have bought my car from them.)I went the following day and purchased the exact car I wanted from another local (and MUCH smaller) dealership... I will NEVER recommend Faulkner Hyundai to anyone. They may be the biggest Hyundai dealership in PA, but out of the five dealerships I went to in my shopping process, I had the worst experience there, BY FAR.

-My initial visit was based on seeing the internet price for the vehicle (excellent price)which is the reason i decided to check out the car in person. The vehicle appeared to be what i was looking for and had the 'right feel'.-Obaid was very friendly and provided very good information on the vehicle.-New car purchase so no work was performed.-The overall experience was good (i personally do not prefer purchasing vehicles much like going to the dentist), so for me this was a much improved experience over any passed purchases (at other dealers).

Just moved here from Southern California - it's been over 5 years since I bought a new car. I was still rather upside down due to the fact that when I bought my last car I was in the subprime credit world and had huge payments with very little going to principal. Worked with Bill on doing a deal, and I am very impressed that the dealership sharpened their pencils and was able to get financing for me and able to knock out most of the negative equity. They gave me what I consider a very fair value for my high-mileage trade, and my payments are within my budget. THe best part? I was out the door in about 3 1/2 hours - that is the shortest amount of time I have ever spent in a dealership when buying a new car. I have bought 7 new cars in lo these many years and this was without a doubt the best experience I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out.

They were willing to go the extra mile to give me a great price for my trade-in and were extremely thorough with all the details that were needed to know! I completely dismissed getting a Hyundai after a recent test drive at a NY dealership. I then met Obaid Siddiqui at the Harrisburg Auto show where I told him of my prior experience. He asked me specific questions as to what I desired in a vehicle. Based on what I told him, he recommended the Hyundai Sonata Limited Turbo. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and sincere, so I visited Faulkner Hyundai shortly thereafter for a test drive of the vehicle he suggested. Sure enough, it was a perfect fit! I was given a price quote by Paul Selvaggi that day. I checked with four other competing dealerships and none of them could match the deal I was offered. When I picked up my car, Obaid gave me a thorough overview of the vehicle and he took the time to address all of my questions. I was treated with respect, fairness, and honesty. The only negative I can think of is that the dealership is currently undergoing renovation and finding a parking space there can be difficult. Overall, my experience was extremely positive and I would recommend this dealership and salesperson to others without reservation! -Susan Sattler

I was extremely impressed with the service I received at Faulkner Hyundai. I was in search of a specific model and color and, by chance, they had it. I'm so glad that they did! From the time I placed a call to the dealership until I left with my new car, I was ecstatic with the level of customer service I received. I worked with Holly Beeman and she was fun, friendly, and informative with every aspect of my purchase. She showed me through the features in my new vehicle, gave me a tour of the dealership, and introduced me to the various team members in each department. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience I had with Faulkner and with Holly, especially. Thank you so much for your superior customer service!

Very knowledgeable sales consultant, he was very helpful from the beginning.Good selection of vehicles. Disappointed that the colors of the vehicle were limited by model.Thought the quality of the car was very good however.Was anticipating that I could have left my leased Nissan with them and gotten a better price on my monthly payments.

I received outstanding service from everyone I encountered at Faulkner Hyundai! I had been car shopping at several other dealerships and didn't feel I was treated like a valued customer. When I walked into Faulkner Hyundai I was greeted with an enthusiastic hello and was immediately introduced to a sales person. I told him what my shopping experience had been like thus far, and what I was looking for. Immediately, he told me he could help me. Within an hour the deal was done, and an hour or so later, I was driving off the lot in my 2011 Sonata! This dealership treats you like a valued customer and they go above and beyond to get you into the car of your choice! I highly recommend buying from them!! I have already told several friends to make sure they go to Faulkner first when looking for a new car!!

My wife and I have driven 50,000+ miles per year over the past 40 years and this was the 23rd car we have purchased. We both remarked on our drive home that this was the most gratifying automobile sales experience we have had. Obaid is the most knowledgeable, responsive and customer sensitive individual we have ever dealt with. There was no smoke and mirrors. While the culture in this dealership had something to do with the experience, Obaid was outstanding and served us well. There were no surprises with the vehicle, as we had done the research; Faulkner's price was the best of the dealers we talked to. We would not only revisit Faulkners, but would insist on being served by Obaid Siddiqui.

(don't make me ask for it)quality of work--the vehicle can some glue on the vehicle which I had to point out. (vehicle should be spotless) friendliness--no complaintoverall experience--because I did not give great for all questions I would not rate the overall expericne a great.ptivr--a good deal but as a consumer you always what a better deal.

The reason we give the rating of Great for all of the catergories except for the Price is because you always would like a lower price when spending that kind of money, but Mario was able to get us the best possible deal. Our overall experience was Great. We were treated with Respect and didn't feel as though we were being taken advantage of at all. We were offered something to drink. The entire staff was remarkably kind and attentive. Mario is a huge asset to your company as he is extremely customer friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable.My parents have always bought their vehicles through Faulkner for well over 40+ years. And my wife and I have purchased a couple of Vehicles through Faulkner over the course of our 30 year marriage and we've never been let down. We look forward to continuing to deal with Faulkner for many years to come. This was one of the better experiences I have had purchasing a vehicle. After reading the consumer reports I was very impressed with the rating of the 2011 Sonata. They worked with me on the finance end to get me where I needed to be and were willing to give me a good deal on my trade. Mario took the time to go over everything with me. I would highly recommend this dealer for they Hyundai experience. Thanks for a great experience.

I was the owner of a Santa Fe for the last 7 years and it was time for a new car. After doing much research the last few weeks on the different SUV's available and their ratings (my family has always relied on Consumer Reports), the Santa Fe's have been consistently at the top. I liked mine alot and never had any issues in the 7 years I owned it. I was a little hesitant to go with the same because I wanted something a little different in style. I had not yet seen the new 2011 models and when our salesperson Todd Grier showed me the new sleek designs and interiors, I was sold. I knew it would be a smart financial decision to go with the same car for reliability and warranties. Coincidentally I was in there on the last day of the month and they were anxious to get cars off the lot to make room for the next month's supply. Todd was very patient with me in going over the different financing options and they were receptive to negotiating. I feel like I got a good deal as well as a fair trade-in value on my old Santa Fe.The car was detailed for me and ready for pick-up the next day. I enjoyed working with Todd as well as the finance department.I'm hoping the quality of customer service is the same for the Service Dept!

Salesman was very friendly and informative with every question that was asked of him.Sales manager was willing to deal and negotiate final price. also added pin striping as final selling point.The car was detailed before delivery to me and the salesman spent extra time explaining how everything worked. He even programed my phone,garage door opener, and nav system for me.

This man made the impossible happen. loking for a new car that had alot of waranty at a great price and i got here. Highly recommend the dealership very pleasent experiance the entire staff upbeat and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who is lokking for a new car or used to stop by and give these great people a chance before you look anywhere first....... I have always owned a Ford vehicle. Reviewing best cars to buy from Consumer Digest, I decided to consider a Hyundai Santa Fe. I loved how it drove and handled on the road. Obaid was able to win me over with his warmth and honesty. Of course, the clincher was the price I couldn't refuse. I have had it now for two weeks and still getting used to it but I love my new vehicle.

My husband and I were just shopping around for a new car. We were unsure of what we were actually going to buy or even when. We stopped in at Fulkner Hyundai to just "look" at the vehicles. However, once we were there, greeted at the door by a very friendly gentelman that said he could get us someone to help us. When Herb came out, my husband told him what we were looking for and that we were interested in the Hyundai Elantra. Herb took us out to the lot and showed us the actual car we own today. Herb went over the entire car from bumper to bumper explanining everything about the car and taking the time to answer the many questions we had. The more we learned about the features, the more I loved it. Although I was very hesitant about driving it, but Herb said he would ride along if we wanted. I agreeded. We took it for a test drive and then returned back to the dealership. After getting back, we went into talk with Herb about the overall price of the car. My husband was upfront and straight forward about what he was willing to pay. Herb was able to make the price what my husband wanted and the car was sold. I picked the car up the next day. At first I liked the way it handled and drove, but now, after having the car for awhile, I no longer like what I have. I love it! Herb listened to my concerns, dislikes, wants and needs in a car and came through for us! Thanks Herb for "steering" us in the right direction and putting me into my new 2010 HYUNDAI ELANTRA! :)

Mario did an excellant job on negotiating the price for me. I believe we both walked out of there with a good deal. From the time I first arrived he was there to help me with my selection. His professionalism really showed. Overall, my experiance at Faulkner was great and I look forward to working with them in the future.

Great dealership to work with! I started my search at another Hyundai dealer, but wasn't satisfied with the salesperson. I was "sold" on Faulkner Hyundai after the first two minutes! Herb and everyone else at Faulkner Hyundai were very knowledgable. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing a car!
