Everyone with was friendly, knowledgable, down-to-earth and professional. More specifically, Dylan Haas and Shawn (sp?) Abramson were great! I upgraded from a 1999 Forester to a 2011 Forester and I plan to return when it's time for the next upgrade. I was referred to Faulkner by a friend, but visited another dealership first. The customer service at the other dealership can only be described as awful. Trust your friends (and this review!) and go to Faulkner first. I will definitely refer anyone who asks to Faulkner and advise them to steer clear of that other Subaru dealership in the Valley.

Morgan McGinnis was very professional, prompt, and attentive to the sales process. Once a price was agreed upon (and it was incredibly competitive), the remaining steps of the process were extremely smooth - acquiring a sales contract, placing a deposit, keeping me abreast of the car's status, and then ultimately delivery.Morgan and Jack spent ample time with my wife and I to review the manuals and operation of the car and it's many features. The explanations and attention to detail went FAR above my expectations. At no point did we feel rushed and I have actually never felt so welcome (this includes our little pooch we brought along). I can compare the delivery of the Subaru to our BMW and it was night and day. Your team scored a ten vs BMW scoring quite low on this front. When it comes to feeling welcome and appreciated BMW could learn a few things too!The finance department, Hayden, was very professional as well - ALL the paperwork was prepared ahead of time (thank you Morgan...) no running around looking for things. I explained my intentions to not look at extended warranties and other non-essentials for us and Hayden treated that with respect and NO pushy sales tactics that would have made us feel uncomfortable.Morgan for sales = 10Morgan and Jack for delivery = 10Hayden for financing = 10

The staff did a better job of painting than the dealer from where we bought the new car. When a small nick was detected after the work was done, it was corrected at no cost. Then 2 small paint chips were detected, those were fixed quickly also. Staff was very friendly. Thank you, it was very appreciated. I will post these positive comments at online review sites. Good word and service deserves to be rewarded and positively referred to others.

Let me start by saying how intimidated I felt about the process of buying a new vehicle. My worries disappeared as soon as I met Shawna and knew that i was being helped by very pleasant and knowledgeable person. Shawna went far and beyond to get me a great deal and even went out of her way to pick me up. We had set a time to meet but I wasn't able to make do to my old vehicle breaking down on my way to the dealer. Do to this dilemma I didn't have a way to get there the next day, but no worries Shawna came to the rescue. She picked me up on her way to work. It doesn't stop there, Mattwas also very pleasant and went into every single detail about my new vehicle before driving it off the lot. Sincerely I'am very thankful to every single staff member that I crossed paths with it is a unique thing to find good costumer service nowadays. Also, sorry if i didn't mention everyone in detail but it would just be to long. My best recommendation is for whoever is looking for a vehicle to definitely stop by Faulkner to experience the best car buying experience that I've had.

We had a great experience at Faulkner. Our salesman Matt was very knowledgeable. My husband commented more than once on how he went over the car with us showing us ever feature of the car. He also made things easy for us....he called our insurance agent, he spoke with our bank to ensure that the funds to pay for the car were on deposit which prevented us from making an extra trip to obtain a certified check, he set up our phones so we could use blue tooth and so much more. The finance guy (sorry don't recall his name) was also great in explaining each sheet of paper which needed a signature and was very personable.

Once a price was agreed upon (and it was incredibly competitive), the remaining steps of the process were extremely smooth - acquiring a sales contract, placing a deposit, keeping me abreast of the car's status, and then ultimately delivery.Morgan and Jack spent ample time with my wife and I to review the manuals and operation of the car and it's many features. The explanations and attention to detail went FAR above my expectations. At no point did we feel rushed and I have actually never felt so welcome (this includes our little pooch we brought along). I can compare the delivery of the Subaru to our BMW and it was night and day. Your team scored a ten vs BMW scoring quite low on this front. A major thing my husband and I liked was that we weren't hunted down like vultures by the sales associates the second we got there. We find that to be extremely annoyomg. Our sales person Dylan was awesome. He was so helpful and easy to talk to. He explained everything about the car to us and was straight up with us about the price of the car. He made the whole process very easy and stayed in touch with us to make sure everything was going good with the car. Honestly he's probably the only sales person I've talked to that didn't annoy me or make me feel pushed to buy. Also, the financial guy (I forget his name) did a really good job at being patient and explaining the numbers and different options with my husband and I. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend someone to shop here.

Unlike most, I had 2 Salesmen. Scott Flaherty sat with us and helped us decide what vehicle would best suit our family needs. He showed us several vehicles, had us test drive whichever one(s) we wanted. He had a lot of patience and didn't rush me even when he had to keep running out in the bitter cold. I made my choice and scheduled a purchase/pick-up date for later that week. Unfortunetly Scott was sick on my pickup day so he arranged to have Jared Neff handle the delivery for him. Jared, like Scott, was very knowledgeable and went over everything to make sure I was comfortable with the vehicle and familiar with all the features. If I had was to purchase another vehicle I would be hard pressed to choose which of the two I would have as my 'Salesman"Frank Bernhard handled the paperwork end of the purchase. He too was very good at what he does and unlike others whom I have purchased a vehicle from, he made sure I knew exactly what I was signing. He did not just shove papers at me saying 'sign here'. During our 'wait' time we were approached by several other employees asking if we needed help or something to drink. Everyone we encountered at this dealership was very friendly.

So I wanted to talk about the purchasing and tried to get more information about monthly payment and etc. Scott, a dealer, said he does not waste his time and said to me "come back only after I think Legacy is the right car for me. What a surprise! I have never heard like this dealer. Of course, I just went out and bought a Camry XLE on the same day. I think they have more than enough potential customers since Subaru becomes a little more popular maybe? At lease I am not going to be one of them.

(original listing $27,500.). Delivery was to be following day (10-31) pending inspection and test driving. Drove 4 hrs (from NY) to dealership and arrived promptly at stated time. Attendant pulls vehicle around front of dealership - Reminder: They were very much aware of my arrival time yet truck wasn't even washed (hood,windshield were fility , fuel tank was on fumes, some fluids were low ... Complete lack of predelivery preparation/inspection.Found two body issues that were not apparent in pictures nor disclosed over phone. Having finding these I simply wanted to try to come to an agreeable resolution so I may purchase the truck and drive the appx. 300 miles home. They were not even willing to discuss/negotiate further stating "we're already taking a loss on this truck"......... Given that I drove a considerable distance I'm confident they assumed I would take it at any cost. In the end, they let an out of state customer with cash in hand - walk - and so I did. 2 days later (on 11/2) they reduce the on-line listing price by $500 to $27,000.......... ?????9 days later they reduce the on-line price an additional $500 ($26,500 - my original negotiated price on Oct 31st.)??After being aware of my dissatisfaction truck was offered to me for $26,000 approximately 11 days later.While I appreciate the follow up gesture, this now is not enough discount to warrant me (return) driving another 8hrs, (roundtrip) , and 600miles. Had they been willing to have a dialog with me in the first place pertaining to my concerns and had extended me this offer I would have purchased the vehicle. With cash in hand - to not even show any interest in making a customer happy.... just made no business sense. I'm sorry to say my experience was not a good one with Faulkner Subaru when trying to purchase this used vehicle and many others have become aware of this matter also.

I worked with Ken Malarik on this purchase and he was great from start to finish. I knew what I wanted coming into the deal and I knew what I wanted to pay. Ken was able to find me a great Crosstrek and it arrived earlier than expected. Ken was responsive through email and also very quick in any question I had through text message. I spoke to him one night on the phone at around 10pm. That is great customer service. It felt like I was buying a car from a friend, so it made handing over a large sum of money a lot more enjoyable knowing that he was the guy getting paid for doing a great job. Everyone around Faulkner was very upbeat and helpful even if I wasn't dealing with them. In doing the paperwork, Frank was a pleasure. He explained things very clearly and the process went quickly but didn't feel rushed like he was trying to move past something just to get a signature. I felt the whole process was pretty transparent. The way Frank diagramed and documented the warranty and extended warranty info was done very well and helped me to visualize the coverage. From a sales perspective, I thought this was extremely well done and effective and even though I chose not to get any extended coverage, it was in no way a reflection on Franks work. I though Frank was very likable and easy going. We were able to have some conversation and get to know each other a bit in the time we signed some papers. Again, a great customer service rep for your business. I really can't say enough about these two guys. I know Subaru and the great product it is, so I wasn't a hard sell by any means, but now I know Faulkner and I am glad I do. Thanks to this crew for a job well done. I hope to continue business with you and am looking forward to seeing the great customer service while I am still under warranty and beyond.

The time went quickly.Additional information: I usually avoid taking my car for service at all costs, preferring to fix everything myself, even major repairs. I do not trust mechanics to work on my car. This time I needed a firmware fix, which is not something that I can do, so I took my Subaru to Faulkner in Bethlehem. It was easy to make an appointment online. There was no up-selling and I felt like the price to flash new firmware was reasonable. I waited for a little over a half hour while they performed the work.

Even though it was fairly busy I was in and out in an hour. Other dealerships in the past with just as many customers waiting took longer. Last year was the same way. So I know when I come to falukner for service you'll get me in and out as soon as possible.

The service adviser was very helpful when I called to set up the appointment and the pricing was accurate. Additionally, I asked what kind of job they do with detailing cars and he said the person really cares and does a great job. He was so very right. The car looks great and people have commented positively about it. Additionally, I had an issue with my serius radio not working when I picked the car up. When I called about it, the guys were great about helping me to trouble shoot the problem (the auxillary power plug to the radio had been disconnected - they think maybe during the detailing) so I was able to find the reason and correct it.

Nancy and I are now married 45 years. We both were going to be retiring and she thought we should look at getting a good reliable car while we could in 2011.She read all she could and settled on a Subaru I checked dealers and Faulkner Subaru was right up there at the top.I was just there for our service checkup this week. Our salesman Roland Zuk always comes out to see how we have been doing. I have been treated for Cancer since our purchase and Roland has been keeping in touch with concern and kindness. 4 years ago I bought a Forester from Roland Zuk at Faulkner Subaru in Bethlehem, PA. The plan was to see 200,000 miles on the odometer in 2031. However, a recent accident ended that dream. I called Roland & asked for his professional advice on how to move through the insurance & possible repair issues. After much thought & input from the pros, I decided to sell the damaged car, The Forester is the perfect vehicle for me & so I asked Roland to find a 2015 model with all the things I wanted. Today, in less than a week from the request, Im driving a 2015 Forester Limited (Jasmine green). It has lots of amazing new features (many of which are for safety). After deciding upon the exact model and accessories we wanted in a 2015 Forester, I contacted nearly a dozen dealerships in NJ/PA simply to get their best competitive price quote to quickly close a deal. Scott Flaherty and Faulkner Subaru's whole internet sales team, handily won our business. Scott was honest, fair and fast, providing the full list of all fees necessary to determine the 'out the door' price. He clearly understands how the internet has changed the traditional car sales model into an open competitive environment and he never played any old fashioned sales games. Faulkner's price quote was the least expensive of any NJ/PA dealership, beating the next nearest by almost $700 and the least competitive (from a dealership we visited and had a relationship with) by more than $2000! The dealership also has access to a large inventory and had our exact model, trim line and color, whereas most other dealerships could only offer their price with a promise to try to get the car in their next shipmentWhen we went to inspect the car and meet Scott, we were immediately struck by his friendly and helpful personality. He flexibly worked around our schedule (out of town business trip) to quickly close the deal and pick up the car. First trip to the Faulkner dealership and it was great! I've been buying cars for a long time & have never had such a good experience in every way. I purchased a certified pre-owned car for myself in February and a few months later I was back with my son to get a car for him. I cannot say enough about the staff - friendly, concerned, experienced. They made sure we got the right cars for the right price and worked hard to get us both to payments we could afford.I've never seen a staff work so closely with each other to serve the customers needs. I tell everyone how great my experience was and refer them to Faulkner. There is a Subaru dealership closer to where I live - but I will gladly drive the extra miles to go to Faulkner. I never really look forward to buying a car. Although dealerships promise you a no-pressure experience, it's rare to actually experience one. When I first walked into Faulkner, I intended on buying a new car only after we turned in our lease (which was in a few weeks). I talked to Kim who assured me that I wouldn't go wrong with a Subaru (I mean, really. What else would she say, right?). Needless to say I'm skeptical of any salesperson (especially car sales people). Anywho, we test drove the Impreza. I liked it. I told her I'd be in touch after speaking with my wife. She was like, 'OK. Here's my card.'. Ok? What do you mean Ok? Aren't you going to try to ram this thing down my throat? (as I said - skeptical).My wife and I returned. We test drove the car - again - and then we asked her to run the numbers. We reminded Kim that we weren't in a position to buy it at this point (because of the lease) and we wanted to get a true financial picture. She obliged. I mean really - Knowing she wasn't going to get a sale that day and still she ran the numbers? Long story short 'ish, we decided to buy used and not purchase the new car. We went back to the drawing board and found the Forester I'm driving today. Kim was great. She was flexible, responsive, kind, funny, and honest. Perhaps it's because I told her I don't like the experience of buying a car. Maybe it's because she was just doing her job. Maybe it's just because that's who she is. Either way, my experience was not only 'not horrible' (which says a lot), it was almost pleasant. To slam some icing on top of the already good cake, the manager, knowing we had a four-year-old son, offered us tickets to see a local baseball team that night. Well done Faulker, well done.

Extremely positive buying experience!!Was in the market for a second vehicle and looking for something durable, safe and with cargo room. With this in mind, I visited Faulkner Subaru and was first welcomed by Kim Obssuth. From the very beginning Kim was extremely professional and friendly. She immediately made me comfortable and answered all my questions. I mentioned to Kim that I was looking at the Forester and would compare to the CRV and RAV4 and therefore was not ready to make an offer. Kim listened intently and at no point did she try and push me in the direction of buying. She took me on a test drive and during the drive she highlighted all that the Forester has to offer from features, cargo and very importantly safety. I was very impressed with her knowledge and professionalism and left the dealership extremely satisfied with the knowledge at hand. At this point, with how comfortable Kim made me feel during my visit and the information provided, I made my mind to go with the Forester. As expected, discussing price was as easy and comfortable as before! I feel I obtained a very good price for the Forester! Plus Faulkner also helped me secure a very attractive loan rate! OK, look - if you read all the other reviews about Roland Zuk, you already know. He's the best. Period. That's the Reader's Digest version of this review. If you want War and Peace, read on.So, my experience with Subaru began with an unplanned stop at Faulkner in Bethlehem. My original interest was in the Outback, and from the moment I stepped into the dealership I knew this was going to be different from any car-buying process I'd been through in the past. Most of those were dismally predictable. Every car salesman I'd ever dealt with seemed to be a graduate of the same Car Sales University, and they all used the same stale tactics. You know the drill - the salesman descends on you. He hammers you with superlatives about the car and all its bells and whistles, not knowing the first thing about your actual interests. He never asks about those. He's only interested in selling you the most options and loading up his commission.You drive the car, and through the whole test drive the salesman is annoying you with details you have no interest in. He says he can make just the right deal for you, but only if you can "pull the trigger today." Back in the showroom, you go through the dance of negotiation. You ask him for his best price. Instead, he makes what is, in my mind, the fatal error: he asks how much you want to spend per month on the car. (Of course, if you answer this question, you will spend AT LEAST that much for the car, and probably more.) Maybe you also tell him about the deal the guy down the street offered you. He leaves the table for repeated closed-door meetings with his sales manager, during which they talk about the Phillies or the Eagles, and have coffee. When the salesman comes back from these meetings, he insists you're killing him on the price, but over the objections of the manager he's going to give you the deal of a lifetime. When you finally agree, some hours and several aspirins later, you imagine your hands closing tightly around the salesman's neck. But the ordeal isn't over. You have to meet with the business/finance manager, who spends a couple more hours trying to load you up with stuff you don't need or want. Yada, yada. As I said, you know the drill ...Enter Roland Zuk, of Faulkner Subaru, Bethlehem. Roland apparently didn't go to Car Sales University, or he missed a lot of classes, because he didn't do any of that stuff. He was interested first in knowing what was important to me in a car, and he actually listened when I told him. I wasn't going to buy the car for at least a couple of months. I was just beginning my search and I didn't want to waste his time. That didn't seem to matter to Roland, and he offered to let me drive an Outback that day. He spent a couple of hours going over the car with me, not once even remotely pressuring me to make a quicker decision. I left very impressed with the car, the dealership, and especially Roland.When I returned a couple of weeks later with my wife, it was to check out the Forester, not the Outback. She had seen the car at the Allentown Auto Show and to my enduring surprise, she fell in love with it. I had mentioned it might be time to trade her 11-year old Altima and now she was starting to warm to that idea. But she also has definite feelings about past car-buying experiences (see above.) Nevertheless, after meeting Roland she was equally impressed with his professionalism. Roland handled every aspect of the transaction flawlessly, patiently answering each of our questions, then locating the exact vehicle she wanted in Maryland, offering us a fair price and very fair value on the trade. It was a great pleasure doing business with him. I will be back to see him later this year, after the 2015 Outback hits the showroom.

This is my first new car and they didn't take advantage of me even though they had knowledge of my situation. Both of them sat and talked with me for as long as I wanted them to so I could make sure that I was making the right decision. At no time during the sale did I feel like I was being forced or persuaded into anything I wasn't interested in. I had an excellent experience with Faulkner Subaru Bethlehem similar to that of "niedzwiedz".I had my mind made up on an Outback Premium w/ Moonroof package (after research and a test drive) and did some extensive online shopping in the tristate NY area (I'm in NYC) trying to find the best quote I could. The initial quote I got from Bob Gearhart beat the offers I got from others without any back and forth. A dealership in my neighborhood told me they could match the offer from Faulkner and another much closer to me than PA came very close to the quote (and others said they can't match it and warned me that I'd be wasting my time if I drove there expecting to get the car for what I was quoted).So on a Saturday in September I set out to get my car (bringing my Father along for the fun). We went to the dealership in my neighborhood (Star Subaru - Bayside, NY) that was going to match the offer from Faulkner. When it came down to it, they weren't matching the offer at all. They now said they could give me the price I was quoted, but since they didn't have any Outback's in their inventory at the moment, they weren't sure what options it would come with when the stock came in and I would be responsible for the extra costs of whatever options the car arrived with. No guarantee of getting the car I wanted or the price I was given were obvious dealbreakers.We pressed on to the next dealership on my list (Town Subaru - Englewood, NJ) that I had received a quote for a specific Outback they had listed online that was very similar to the quote I got from Faulkner. When I arrived, I asked for the dealer I had worked with to get the quote (I was in contact with him the previous day) but he was off Saturday. I explained to the dealer that helped me which car I was looking for and that I worked online with the other dealer and he told me that the car I was quoted the price for was sold. I asked him when it was sold he told me earlier in the week. This upset me since I worked on a deal for a car they didn't have. The salesman tried to spin me towards other vehicles/options which upset me further. So after that experience I was a bit worked up and last on my list was the one furthest away, Faulkner, which closed at 5:00 on Saturday's. I put a call in to Bob when we started out for PA (it was around 2:30) to ensure that the car I wanted was still available (I hadn't emailed him since earlier in the week). He wasn't available so we took a leap of faith that it was and pressed on. Bob called back about an hour or so later and told me they still had the car and that he'll have it ready for me to test drive in the front of the dealership when I got there. We arrived about a quarter after 4 and Bob was extremely courteous, professional and friendly. We took a test drive and I was convinced I wanted the car feeling no pressure from him whatsoever. Everything was transparent in the pricing I was given and it was in-line with the quote I received. I didn't negotiate a trade-in beforehand, but my car was inspected and I received a fair offer for it so we made that a part of the transaction as well. I worked with Denis O'Leary for the financing portion of the sale while Bob got my new car ready for me (mind you this was past closing time for the dealership). Denis explained everything very well and did not push hard for extending the warranty or service contract. I felt very comfortable with everything I was signing and did not have any costs come out of left field after it was completed.Once that was done, I transferred my belongings from my old car to my new car which Bob had all ready for me. Bob gave me a run through of a lot of the features I should know about that we didn't cover on the test drive. He offered to connect my phone to the bluetooth system as well as anything else I might have needed help with. In the week that followed, Bob worked with me to help get my car registration done for New York (it was a little tricky because I was out of state and had a different address on my license and insurance). He was patient throughout and it was done correctly and in time. I admit I was likely a bit of a bugger to him at times but he never let me know it.This was a night and day difference from the dealership experiences I've had. I waited four months to post this review because I wanted to make sure there were no issues with the car or annoyances from the dealership. There are none to report. All is well, and I (along with my Father who was also impressed) will definitely take the trip back to Bethlehem when it's time for a new car.

I bought the car from Faulkner Subaru, despite the 2 hour drive (from NYC), but it was so worth it. First of all I got the price that was unbeatable by the local dealers in NYC. Second, the communication was superb. I purchased it from behind my computer after exchanging few emails with Bob. My car arrived earlier than expected and picking car up was a pleasant experience I was not expecting. Bob spent 2 hours explaining features of the car. I was never felt pushed into getting extra warranty/insurance although I was presented with options to do so. Loving every single piece of buying experience with Faulkner Subaru. 5 star dealer !!!

I took my daughter's Outback to Faulkner for a mfr. recall. I was in the market for a car and I had all but decided to buy a Camry. While I was waiting for the work to be done on her car, I noticed the Imprezas. I took a ride in one and was very impressed. A solid car, all wheel drive, and excellent gas mileage. Both Bobby Gearhart and Joe Metzger did an outstanding, low pressure explanation of the car. I couldn't believe I didn't get the "what's it going to take for you to buy the car today" line. My wife didn't even see the car before I bought it. She said If it's a Subaru, I'll trust your judgement.Bottom line, Faulkner and these two fine gentlemen, coupled with the test drive sealed the deal! Faulkner is a class organization!

My sales consultant was the opposite of the nightmare care salesman (new or used), especially with lone women,(condescending, pushy, trying to get you to buy more than you want, etc.) , and in my many years of buying cars on my own, I have been sleazed out by a number, and walked right out of showrooms. So, while I have always loved cars, I have always dreaded buying them.I bought this car post-serious-motor-vehicle accident. I was replacing the car in the accident which had been totaled. I was in pain and not at my best. From the first, Roland Zuk, my sales consultant, was congenial, informative, articulate, respectful, and a joy to work with. He was accommodating, he listened to me and what I wanted and did not want. And never once did he treat me like a stupid woman who knew nothing about cars. A first. Even my last car, which was 5 years old, was purchased through a young man who had no customer relations skills. But I wanted the car and blew it off. (Don't they train these kids?)In any case, Roland was very patient with me because I was not at my best. And he happens to be a person of education, respect for others, sensitivity, and caring for people. Unfortunately, I suspect too many dealers may not recognize that those attributes are excellent for car sales consultants. Lack of desperation and maturity helps, too. End of excessive verbiage. I think my point has been made.

I was hesitant to go to yet another dealership and have them run my credit and lower my score even more than it already was. Everywhere I went I was either denied or if I was approved the interest rates were 18-20% the fees the bank charged because of poor credit were truly outrageous which made my monthly payments higher than I could afford AND they all needed lots of down money. Joe Metzer, Nancy McCabe and Pete Boyce helped me so much! I was given an awesome interest rate and I was NOT charged any crazy bank fees! This kept my payments to where I could afford. I am sooo extremely greatful to Faulkner Subaru. My car search is done and they have given me a chance to improve my credit. I will recommend them to anyone that asks! A million Thanks!!!!! After more than 20 years of dealing with Becker Subaru, and having a not-so-good last visit we decided to visit Faulkner to see what they're availability was. Becker did not really have the Forester we were looking for and our usual salesman (Bob) tried to pursuade us into an Outback. After spending 3 hours, it was just time to "go home and think about it". This is what brought us to Faulkner, because in the long run, our "Forester" was sitting on the front lot looking for us. Joe Metzger was courteous and polite, new his vehicles, and was very pleasureable dealing with. There was no haggling, just gave us a fair deal, and we drove home with our new car. My Nephew, in his early 20's, wanted to show me & another relative a car he was interested in buying. He brought me to the lot, and a salesman walks over, doesn't bother greeting or even looking at anyone, but his potential sale, which I thought was rude. The sticker on the car window didn't have the mpg, which is probably a sales tactic, cause when I asked what it was, we all had to go to his desk to find out. He didn't answer our question without first getting my nephews contact info. I said "we won't take any more of your time, but thanks for your service". The guy was pushy, but my nephew said he was gonna talk it over with us, and the guy laughed in a condescending way because we all looked young (20's & early 30's). I can't say anything about the quality of work or even price, but customer service & friendliness is important to me, and I would NEVER shop here again!!!

After 2 years of searching for a new auto I finally decided that the Subaru Forester was the perfect vehicle for me. I went to another Subaru dealership in the Lehigh Valley & their salesman made promises that he could not keep. I then went to Faulkner Subaru in Bethlehem. Roland Zuk greeted me at the door with a friendly smile & then listened patiently to my description of the perfect car. That perfect car was not available due to the disaster in Japan. We continued to talk & he explored the alternative vehicles which might also meet my needs. He was able to locate a Sky Blue Metallic (my granddaughters love the color) Forester & within a few days I was driving a new car. At the time of delivery, Roland patiently explained every detail of the Forester & the flow of service at the dealership. He then extended an open-ended invitation to contact him with any questions about the car or service or other concerns that might arise. Buying a new car can be very stressful but my experience at Faulkner Subaru in Bethlehem was a pleasure. I will continue to recommend them to my friends & family.

We purchased a used vehicle from this dealer. The next morning, after we drove off their lot with our "new purchase", the check engine light came on. We found out it had transmission problems. Faulkner promised us that the problem would "be handled" and they would cover the expense, we just wanted our sale voided since it was a less than 24 hours after the sale. Faulkner told us the car would have a new transmission , not to worry. The transmission was "fixed" in their words.Five months later the transmission went again. I tried contacting Faulkner and when they finally got back to me they washed their hands of it, told us "it was our problem" This company is very unprofessional, they are liars, they are greedy businessmen that will do and say anything just to make a sale. Faulkner to be sure is their motto. It should say..FAULKNER TO BE SURE TO SCREW YOU EVERY CHANCE WE GET

I made a specific appointment for an oil change and state inspection so I expected around a $125 dollar bill. I had to send my son with the car as I was at work and the dealer talked him into service that came to $372 dollars, much of which was a waste of money on a 1 year old car (checking tire pressure, looking at belts, etc.) I called them and they gave me this BS about standard maintenance etc. So a Subaru with 15,000 miles, one year old cost $372 dollars for service? I would recommend you NEVER USE this dealer, DO NOT BUY HERE. They are nice when you buy then get you for unneeded service, tricking a boy whose parents are not there. I want all my money back except the $125 dollars that I expected to pay but of course they are not giving it to me. DO NOT BUY HERE. You will likely regret it.

We had been looking to replace a 98 Buick LeSabre that we had that was not only aged but sadly inadequate for our needs after my wife's hip replacement surgery. She needed a vehicle that was just the right height that she could get in and out with bending or stretching too much. We determined a Forester would be the perfect vehicle height wise and had my son research some good used 09s on the internet. He searched out this one that was at Faulkner Subaru. The price was very fair, the car was in impeccable condition as it had been one of their own they leased, serviced and then certified. Roland Zuk was the single best salesperson anyone in this family has ever dealt with to purchase a vehicle anywhere anytime. I don't know what Faulkner pays him, but if they doubled his salary he would still be a steal for the quality of service he puts forth. Knowledgeable, understanding, patient, friendly and never pushy. Peter Boyce the sales manager also helped us out while Roland was busy. Another true professional through and through. I will be sure to refer anyone to this dealership and Roland especially. My son hopes to upgrade eventually and this will be the stop he makes. Thanks very much from the DeLeva family!

I'm from Ghana, West Africa and wanted to purchase a used Toyota Corolla for my mom living on Staten Island, New York. Peter Boyce negotiated a fair deal over the phone in consideration of my 2 hour commute (unheard of). When I arrived Joe Metzger had the vehicle prepped was honest about a few minor issues (his background is technical) and spoke with respect and decorum (his military background), no pressure, no extra charges, no gimmicks, no hassle experience was quite pleasant after the night mares we experienced dealing with new York dealers over the prior week. Joe Metzger impressed myself and my mom by treating us like family. The pricing was atleast $1,500 cheaper than any offers we saw in the market for an 05 Toyota Corolla and none of my family and friends could believe the deal I got. The few minor things I'll have to service shouldn't cost more than $500 which still puts me $1,000 below market. My only comment to Peter Boyce on developmental challenges to improve the overall experience is that since I'm coming from Africa in our culture greeting people through the door is very important, Joe was very pleasant and friendly but the other sales reps never greeted us! So for friendliness I gave this dealer a 4 but it had nothing to do with Peter or Joe, just a suggestion on the overall experience at the dealership! But as we say in Ghana Ikooo! Which means well done! Thanks Pete and Joe!

Roland was polite and helpful, going as far as to share the technician's appraisal of the cars we looked at. He wasn't pushy at all -- a big plus! He was patient while we sought the credit union's approval. He was willing to negotiate the price. This is the 2nd Subaru we bought from Roland Zuk. The first was a necessity, we needed it quickly. Since Faulkner did not have the car we wanted in stock, Roland called nearby dealerships and found the perfect vehicle. Faulkner got the car the next day, and after servicing and paperwork, we picked up the vehicle. All within 2-3 days!The second car, a Legacy, we bought because we loved the car. We wanted to come back to Roland, since he treated us so well with the Impreza that we bought for our daughter.There are many options and controls to learn about with a new car. Roland helped us decide what we needed, and what we could do without. I just bought my second new Subaru from Wes Brown and this dealership and again found him to be fair, straightforward, and above board with his dealings. He gave us a fair price on the 2012 WRX that we purchased. They were also very efficient when we picked up the car having everything ready before we arrived so we could get out of there in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this dealer.

My mind was already made up that I was going to get a new Forester, since I already had total success with a 2009 model. Expecting to find better pricing locally (in NJ) at this time of year (Oct), I was disappointed when a local dealer told us, "... if I have a better offer, come back and they'll see if they can match it." So what was I supposed to do, run from dealer to dealer and price??? To my delight, a friend recommended Faulkner's in PA., and they ran with the ball from start to finish to insure that I had the best deal to satisfy our needs in a Forester. We did nearly everything via phone and Mr. Zuk followed up with phone calls, faxes, pricing and taking care of all the details involved when going through the process. My model was an upgrade from my original Forester and all we need do is review the paperwork and pick up the car. Needless to say working with Roland Zuk and the team at Faulkner's was a pleasure. I have had issues in the past with mechanics and car salesmen simply because I am female. Simply put, I grew up with a father who taught me about cars. I wasn't allowed to drive a car until I knew how to change the oil, tires, and could point out the major parts of the engine and drive train. Most mechanics and salesmen assume that I have no clue what's going on. The staff at Faulkner Subaru are honest, respectful, and friendly. I test drove a car I found online and bought it the same day. The price was already low, but they still reduced the price even further by a couple hundred dollars. Personally, I would advise simply going to a smaller local car dealer with a great reputation rather than a larger establishment in the city.

I bought my first Subaru Impreza from Faulkner with outstanding service from their whole team but especially Roland Zuk. I am the first one to complain when I don't get good service. I will call or email corporate headquarters, etc. as I feel corporations should know when their associates are hurting thier reputation. I have to say, I received great customer service and a fair straight forward deal from Wes and Shawn at this dealership. Many dealers mess you around (Honda recently so I walked away) but I found the conduct and price of this dealer in its sale of a new Subaru to me to be very good. We will see how their service is over time but so far... I would say GO HERE.

We were directed to Faulkner and Mr. Zuk in particular by our son. He is very knowledgeable about Subaru's and said that Mr. Zuk was extremely good. We had no high pressure from Mr. Zuk in regards to buying the car, which is extremely important to my wife and I. After we purchased the car, Mr. Zuk spent at least 1 hour with us going over all of the information about the car. We can not recommend him and more highly than we have, except to give him a 10 on a scale of 5 being 5 the highest score you can receive. We will definitely give his name to any of our friends who are looking to purchase a car in the future.

I called my Insurance Agent of 9 1/2 years and asked her where she buys cars.She told me Faulkner Subaru was her Dealer of choice and she had purchased several cars from them.I agree totally with her that they are courteous and do almost anything possible to insure that you're satisfied. They answered ALL my questions,and I do mean ALL, no matter what they were. I had been in Customer Service for 16 years with Kraft Foods and Nabisco before I retired. I am a VERY hard person to please because I demand the Excellent Customer Service that I gave to my Customers. Faulkner is one of the VERY FEW places that has ever met my standards and expectations of Excellence!!! I first contacted Shawn Leidy via email for the initial information.Bob Gearhart was my Salesman, that my Insurance Agent also told me to ask for. Expected car buying experience to be that of a root canal. However, very pleasantly surprised when I met Bob Gearhart! I had been looking on the internet for a used 2010 Subaru Forester with a premium packaging option. After several days of searching, I found a great looking car with an even better price on Faulkner's website. I emailed and received a very positive response back from Sean. I went to the dealership the next day with my two daughters and met Roland. First off, I was greeted immediately by a sales manager who introduced me to Roland. He was very friendly to me and my children and offered us refreshments after our long drive in. He answered all of my questions about my trade and the Forester I was looking at. Even though I was not expecting to drive off that evening in my new car, I did and the process was simple, hassle-free and enjoyable. I have never been to a dealership or dealt with a salesperson as nice as they were. I felt very comfortable during this process and they worked with me in every way to satisfy my car needs that fit within my budget. Thanks Roland!!!

I recently went to Faulkner to get myself a new, safer vehicle for my my recently expanding family as my wife and I are expecting our first child. I went to Faulkner a few years prior, and also received fantastic service then. Thankfully, and not surprisingly, nothing had changed. From speaking with Shawn Leidy via their web chat function when browsing their pre-owned inventory, to signing the final paperwork, every bit of service was stellar. Bob Gearhart was more than a pleasure to work with, from beginning to end. He answered every question I could possibly have about the car or the process, and made sure that my every need was more than met. I wound up getting a 2008 Subaru Tribeca and I have never been happier. My wife will be needing a new vehicle in another year or so, and I know exactly where we will be going. The only reason I rated price as a 4 above is due to the fact that another delership called me then next day and offered me $1000.00 more for my trade. Overall I was satisfied, but in a down market I may have been able to bargain a bit more.

I initially contacted this dealership through the internet to get a quote on a 2011 Subaru Forester. I already had a price in mind and was very surprised to get a response for a quote with a very fair price and with no hassleing. They even found the color of the vehicle that I wanted at another dealership. Jared, the salesperson, explained everything in detail about the vehicle and was very polite. He did not pressure me to purchase other packages, however, upon further explanation and a drop in price I decided to purchase the Xzilon Auto Protection Package. Although this dealership is 50 miles from my home, I left there feeling that I made a good decision and was very satisfied. I would definitely recommend this dealership and would go back there to purchase another vehicle in the future.

This was our reason for returning. Tom and Roland went over and above in finding us the car that we wanted ( 2011 WRX ) in some very tough times . This necessitated a multi-state search, and they were successful in their endeavor.Everyone at this dealership has gone out of their way to be of service. Nancy, the Business Manager, and Gary in Service, not to mention Scott, the Technician were all more than helpful and accommodating. Why have I given Faulkner Subaru the rating I have is because they deserve it, that's why. I started my quest for a new Outback Sport using their on-line inventory and communicating with Shawn Leidy who was very helpful. After some discussions, Shawn told me that the car that I wanted (with all the options) typically doesn't exist and my best bet would be to factory order one. I got around to going to the dealership and saw that Wes Brown was still there. I had bought our Outback wagon from him back in 2000, so I figured I go back to him. Wes made it a pleasant experience the last purchase, so I figured he'd do it again and he did just that. We worked through the order process and started the wait. Wes didn't give a firm delivery date, but provided status updates all along. The car arrived right at the estimated delivery time in perfect condition. There's another Subaru dealer the same distance from us and I could have went there. Since Wes and the people of Faulker did a good job the last time, I decided to go back to them again. I think that's the mark of a good dealership.

I contacted Faulkner Subaru regarding a used Forester. Shawn got back to me the same day and informed me that the car had been sold but attached listings for 2 other Foresters on the lot. When I arrived, Joe Metzger allowed me to look the car over and take it for a drive. Peter Boyce is the used car manager who, in addition to Joe made sure I wasn't getting a lemon for my money and both gave me a reasonable amount for my trade considering my circumstances. I took my time over the next 24 hours and looked for a better deal but for a certified Forester with low miles there really wasn't a better deal to be had. Joe took the car off the market while I made my decision and when I was ready to buy, the car was ready to go. There was a minor problem with the cr when I bought it but Joe and Nancy agreed to repair it at no cost before I actually bought the vehicle. It was a simple window repair that Faulkner's tech remedied in under an hour on my next visit. Financing was pretty much a breeze and Nancy offered 3 different options with regard to my payments that kept me in the same ballpark as I had been paying on my trade. I purchased a warranty through Subaru and on this was also offered quite a few options. There was no pressure to buy a warranty. It was more of an offer to supplement the Subaru certified warranty. All in all, a nice buying experience and would recommend Faulkner Subaru to anyone in the marke for a new or used vehicle.

I went to Faulkner Subaru to purchase a 2011 Subaru STI, the sales person, Bob Gearhart, was extremely professional from start to finish. Bob was upfront about pricing and dealer invoice which made me even more comfortable with the dealership (not to mention that they gave me a more than fair amount for my used trade). The best part of the experience was that the car was not available in PA and had to be picked up from a dealership in Maryland. I asked Bob if they would allow me to go with them to pick up the vehicle and drive it to Faulkner Subaru, and to my very happy surprise they did. It basically amounted to a 200 mile test drive that I truly had fun doing. I have already visited the dealership for service as well, and the service department is as eager to please as Bob was. I have never experienced such outstanding customer service from any dealership in my life as I have from Faulkner Subaru. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase or service new or used vehicles.
