This is one of the best experiences we have had at a dealership. May I also mention the quickest!! I was greeted in the parking lot by Bogi. He asked me if I had an appointment with somebody or if I was just browsing. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he brought me right over to it. Not trying to sell me a bunch of different cars/trucks that I was not interested in unlike many other dealerships. Bogi was very knowledgeable and had answers for all of our questions. He was very friendly and thorough. Our next vehicle will definitely be from Bogi at Tarpon Springs Ferman.

However, it sparked a return to the must horrible and disrespectful service by Ferman and the attempted sale of a car to me last month. I was shown a car by a supposed veteran who thought I was going to be fooled by lowering the payments by expanding the loan pay-off from 60 to 75 months That was, quite frankly, dishonest at least and unlawfully fraudulent as well. And that was GREAT...As I met another Chevy dealer with a straight forward and honest representative. My credit score is 745 Ferman used 701Your interest rate was 9.75% I received a 3.64% rate.Your cost on a Malibu ( WITH TRADE )..28,000.00 + My cost ( with trade ) was 19,700.00...at 3.64 % I HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF MEETING TWO FERMAN EMPLOYEES, AND BOTH THE FINANCE AND SALE REP REALLY THOUGHT I WAS A FOOL. I am very displeased and surprised at how the dealership in Tarpon Springs Florida dealt with damage done to my truck when it was there over a week and a half. I live three blocks from the dealership and drove it straight home after repairs were done. But the next morning when I opened the garage door I saw damage done to the bumper and they out right told me to my face I did it. I'm surprised how your company works and this is the second truck we have bought from you. To tell me to my face that I did it, and the best they can do is pay for half the work for something I didn't do which is over $400 dollars for half. I plan to take this up with the better business bureau and further spread the word on how your company deals with service. I was not informed that I needed to take video's of my car when I drop it off to make sure that it comes back the same way. I would like full payment and replacement for the bumper and I would like an apology from the company. This is irresponsible and unprofessional by such a large company that I am sure has insurance for these problems. I would like to keep doing business with your company because I love my truck but you are making it very hard for a customer to put any trust in your company. I have purchased 4 cars within the last 5 years and this has been the best purchase experience ever. Kyle and I were able to e-mail, text and speak over the phone. He was able to work with my hectic schedule and get me in and out relatively fast. I have already referred him to family and friends. Kyle is extremely helpful and personable. This Ferman dealership has a nice inventory but overall it is their employees that give it the competitive edge. Thank you Kyle and the entire Ferman team. Also, the gentleman who handled the finance was able to assist us while interacting with our two year old daughter. She liked him so much that she made him a colorful art display that he taped to his office window.

I go in for an oil change. Since Im familiar with cars and typically do my own service, I watch. What I see is:1.The lug nuts are tightened with an air wrench and no torque stick, which means that they are probably over-tightened. Over-tightened lug nuts usually result in brake pedal pulsation because the over-tightened lugs warp the brake rotors.2.The tech uses the torque wrench afterwards, which just clicks. This also indicates that the lugs are over-tightened.3.I ask the tech to check the torque. He wants to remove all the lugs and do it over again, but that will not prove that anything was originally over-tightened, so I ask him to set the torque wrench to 5 lbs over what he just torqued them to. The bolts dont move. I ask what torque setting he uses, and he states: 100 foot lbs. 4.I show the owners manual to another Service Advisor, which requires 110 foot lbs. He jokes that no one ever complains about lug nut torque. I ask them to please follow the recommendations in the GM service manual. He states that he doesnt know anything about the torque settings; thats what he has techs for.5.Upon returning the owners manual to my car, the same service tech is there, joking with another tech about how everyone was laughing about a customer worried about lug nut torque. I ask what hes talking about and he tells me that hes talking about another customer, them states that he was talking about one of the employees. He changes the story within 30 seconds.6.Upon walking around the lot, I see:a.Another customer bring in their Equinox for service. The service writer doesnt even notice that a screw is lodged in of her tires, so I point it out to him. Its in the worst part of the tire, right next to the sidewall, which would cause the customer to get a flat shortly after leaving the dealership.b.A salesman riding around in a golf cart. He states that hes looking to help customers, but later I see him sitting on various motorcycles parked in the customer parking area.c.An auto detailer drop his large green vacuum cleaner on the ground, and then try to put it back together.

I had a wonderful experience at Ferman Chevrolet in Tarpon Springs. I really lucked out to get Bogi as my Sales Consultant. It didn't feel like he was selling me a car, it felt more like we were establishing a friendship. We pretty much spent all day to find a deal that would work for both of us, but Bogi was patient and gave me unbelievable customer service throughout. It was a pleasure having Bogi throughout my sales experience. I got there first thing in the morning and was still there at 2:00pm getting my new Camaro tinted and Bogi actually took me to lunch while the tint was being done. Bogi was exceptional he made me feel at ease in a situation that can be stressful at times. It's a brand new, clean dealership as well. Being 62 years old, between my wife and I we've bought or leased at least 15 new cars, not to mention helping our 5 kids with some of their purchases. I have never dealt with a more friendly and patient car salesman in my life. Geoff Weiss was so knowledgeable and never pushy. He clearly only cared about my needs and I'm not always so easy to deal with. When I landed on the car I wanted their was no haggling or animosity about the price. He went to bat for me and I know I got a GREAT deal because I shopped around BIG Time! Todd the sales manager was great too. I have purchased a few cars at this dealership and every time I am here, I am treated like a VIP. The Sales department has done a wonderful job explaining things to me that I didn't understand like how leasing works. I was surprised when I received the payment because the price was better than I expected. The Finance department also blew me away with their kindness and efficiency. First & foremost I did NOT purchase a vehicle from them but that was because I got a better deal with a closer dealership. HOWEVER, GEOFF (pronounced Joff) was THE BEST salesman I ever dealt with. He was very kind and extremely helpful when I was looking at their Chevy SS sedan. He made sure all my questions were answered and thoroughly explained everything to this first time buyer. I NEVER spoke with him before this encounter and just read a google review on the business & someone mentioned his name because he helped so I asked for him. When I am in the market for a Tahoe I will DEFINITELY return to him. I was initially interested in a used 2014 Impala on the lot, but when I arrived I found it did not have all the equipment I wanted. My sales associate Bogi informed me of a special on the new 2016 Impalas that was too good to pass up. I purchased a 2016 2LT and the paperwork was handled quickly and smoothly. The car was not quite ready for delivery when I finished the paperwork, so Bogi delivered it to my house in Tampa the next morning. Great service overall.

Ferman met all our questions and wants with a deal that was we felt good. When we were done we were able to take the car home leaving our trade and us it for the weekend with out signing anything but a paper saying we were going to buy. When we returned 5 days later. All paper work was done without a slowdown and there is plenty. While the car was washed and waxed for departure. Our salesman Steve Kikta was helpful taking the time to go over items we were not familar with and we never felt rushed or pressured he was like a new friend. All in all we would buy again from this dealership.

Looked all week for a 2016 Colorado Standard bed diesel. Finally found one at Ferman in Tarpon Springs , FL. I live 600 miles away when I called late Friday night Bogi took the call and in no time verified truck was on lot and put his hand on to ensure it was there before I drove 7 hours. I hate buying a car, the whole process and emotional upheaval of the negotiation gives me a lot of anxiety and I'm exhausted near the end. However, after visiting multiple dealerships that day and test driving various vehicles to upgrade my car we ended our day at Ferman Chevrolet with no intention of buying a car what so ever. The salesmen we encountered was friendly, not push AT ALL and made us feel so comfortable that we left with a brand new car that day. It was a relatively smooth process with minimal hassle and back and forth and I would highly recommend anyone this location. Our salesman Bogi was attentive and genuine which is something you don't always see in a car salesman, I absolutely suggest him.

.after we got home, and reviewed all the paperwork, we realized we did not receive the trade in amount they promised, or the interest rate. then after making a few payments, we realized the amount of the loan, and interest being charged. $400.00 a month of our monthly payment was going to interest......we could have got a better rate from a loan shark...when i asked jay for help he was not so pleasant anymore, in fact he was quite arrogant, and said you should read the fine print next time...totally disgusted with him, and chance for lying to us...we thought these guys were honest, but i see they are all the same...

My husband and I came into buy ME a car, somewhere in the process they told us that because my credit score was higher they needed to put my husbands name first and me be second to get the loan approved, we let every single sales person Zach, Jay, Chase, all of them that my husband does NOT have a driver's license, never will and is deemed uninsurable, are they sure it's ok to put his name first and will it help MY credit score even thought I'm the second signed, something very important to me? They all assured me it would be ok to have him on the registration and yes it will still help MY credit. Turns out it's not ok and it doesn't help me at all, got a letter from Tax collectors saying the licence plate I owned for 5yrs was transferred into my husbands name and because he is uninsurable the plate was revoked...I spent hours at the DMV and on the phone with the lender...and ended up having to pay over $400 to change the lending into my name soley and have my plate reinstated and registered, I had to pay the registration TWICE because they put it only in his name! To top it all for I've been pulled over twice because the plate was registered to an uninsureable driver...I know that my husbands issues are troublesome, but we were upfront with every single one of them and they completely screwed me over by registering the car I came into buy in his name. Very disappointed :(

I brought my 1986 corvette in to have a tail light bulb changed, along with an oil change. I dont know what kind of service dept this is if I have to tell the mechanic how to open the hood. Then another mechanic tried to change the tail light bulb, but didnt know how to do that. Again, I had to stop him from damaging my car and I had to explain to him how to do it. He then laughed at me and walked away. I spoke to management along with the service manager and they both checked out my vehicle. The service manager then refused to fix my car. A professional dealership doesnt know how to fix simple things. Maybe they should check out how to change a tail light bulb on You Tube like I did without damaging a customers car. I tried to get ahold of Mr. Ferman himself to tell him what this newly remodeled dealership is doing, But I was told by Ferman management that this was impossible and Mr. Ferman will not talk to me. Please dont use this dealership for any purpose. Now I take my chevy to Karl Flamer Ford for repairs. Boy are they Good.....

I went in here to buy a used car. I was taken as a joke from the moment I walked in the door. First off I was low-balled to all xxxx on my trade in, then I was lied to about my credit score (I went to another dealership 2 days later and my CS was 100 points higher than what Ferman Chevrolet told me). I was told the deal couldn't get done before closing so they asked me to come back the next day. Their finance guy was incredibly rude and at one point the salesperson helping me disappeared for 3+ hours after telling me to "have a seat and I'll be with you in a few minutes"

My wife and I bought our 2013 Acura TSX (Tech) from Ferman Acura in south Tampa, and had an excellent experience there. I made the mistake of going to Castriota Chevrolet in Hudson trying to purchase a new Colorado to replace my old 2005 Z-71 Colorado, that I purchased from him in 2007. I figured I'm a Retired Marine, Castriota is a Retired Marine Senior Officer, he gave me a military discount last time. I was greatly mistaken. There was no loyalty discounts offered, there was no military discount offered, nothing at all and Tom wouldn't show his face no matter how much I requested him in the showroom. Within 10 mintues of arriving at Ferman of Tarpon, yes TEN MINUTES, Rob and Chance had the deal signed, sealed, and ready to be delivered with all the discounts that I rated. It was probably one of their easiest sales they've had, and for my wife and I, it couldn't have gone any smoother. I've returned to Ferman of Tarpon a few times now for service/recalls, etc. etc., and each time, the service has been far above and beyond expectation. From top to bottom, you can't beat the family at Ferman of Tarpon. For sales, Rob is a great guy to deal with. For finance, Chance is awesome and is willing to go that extra mile for you. And for service, Mario makes you feel right at home as soon as you pull into the service bay, and Bev at the checkout counter is very friendly, and a great face to see before you leave the dealership. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my whole experience with the Ferman family. You've definitely earned our business, everyone. I had a car in for an alternator replacement at the end of the first day after no call i called them and was told the part just came in and the car would be ready in the morning, at 11:30 am I called and the representative was busy left a message to call me, at 13:00 I called again had to leave second message at 14:00 called again finally got the rep who said they are working on it now and will call at 16:20 i went up to the dealer who stated another 30 minutes and it would be done, If the car was going to be all day say so, I wasted an entire day waiting for this call from the dealer only to have the rep ignore my calls and lie to me again. I will NEVER bring my car nor will I buy my next car from this dealership.

Service Manager is not really Customer Service Oriented. he did not like being called on the table for his explanations. He needs to be reminded by his Managers that "The Customer is Always Right" If you are going to cut back on Service Related items, then be honest up front. I moved down here August, 2013 for a Job Change, and Chevy recommended I continue my relationship with Ferman. First couple visits were great. Now Service level has gone down. Previous complimentary services are now "Upon Request" but they don't tell you, and they do not give you the option. Let's see what happens when I talk to Senior Management at this location.

I scheduled routine maintenance with them two weeks in advance. When I showed up the morning of my scheduled service I was informed they could not promise to get to it and wanted it left over the weekend. Service staff didn't even seem interested in trying to keep their commitments. There are too many alternate options to waste time with them.

The service here is the best. I had the logo and emblem to put on my Nissan Cube. I do not know much about the new automobile finishes so I was reluctant to prepare and replace them myself. I went to the body shop. Thanks to Shannon and Tim my car parts were in place and I was back on the road in less than 5 minutes total. They were very friendly and professional and I will not hesitate to take my vehicle there again if needed.

First of all I have to say, its a little fishy that 4 of the positive reviews were written on the same day & for the same person. I bought a brand new malibu at stingray 12/10/12. When i was ready for my first oil change, i chose ferman because its between my home & my work. I put less then 500 miles per month on this car & keep it in perfect condition. I told the female service advisor, that i had a dealership in the past put a ding in a new car & that this Malibu had no scratches or damage & to please be careful. she said with attitude " oh, i guess i have to do a walk around" needless to say after leaving i was never going to go back. yesterday i could not get the back window to go up. it was 2pm & I would not have been able get to another open service dept. I called ferman, spoke with mark & explained this was a bit of an emergency & if they could just get the window up, i would schedule the repair with them for another day. I got to them in 20 min, explained again how important it was to get this window up. I went into the waiting area & sat & listened to a bunch of 10-12yo boys from across the hall, saying every profanity you can imagine. there is no doubt, veryone in that building heard this, but the 10-15 employees I saw did nothing! the dealership is old, & dirty! After 40 min he had the car pulled up. he was telling me it needs a new regulator & they could do it next tue. the window was still down! I asked about it & he said they could not get it up & they would keep the car until tue. I said no & he said what are you going to do. I said get someone to take care of it. I asked if i needed to sign something & he said "no the tickets still open & you should leave the car here...what if it rains?" I left & called Dimmitt Chevy & explained the situation. first of all, they told me that if you take the panel off, you can put the window up manually. I was furious! I felt like they were trying to make me keep the car there, so they could get the window work, along with a remote start repair, oil change & tire rotation (all things i told him needed to be done)..It was to late to get down to dimmitt, so i just went ahead & scheduled all of the service needed with them. I am not an idiot or a extremely difficult customer, but something is not right at this dealership & im really surprised that anyone would be loyal to them...terrible customer service & as far as im concerned, shady business practice!

I have always been less than excited to enter a dealership to buy a car. My previous experiences could be compared to a trip to the dentist, you know going in that it is something that needs to be done, but you also know that during the visit you are going to feel some pain and not feel that great afterwards. My experience at Ferman of Tarpon Springs was nothing like that. Working with Luis Valentin, the dealership experience was comfortable, respectful, and completely painless. Sarah was an absolute pleasure to work with. One of the worst new car buying experiences I've ever had. I was told the option I wanted could easily be added to the car I was buying. Once the car was delivered the story changed. Ferman's only solution was to refund the price of the option. Nice bait and switch tactic. There are too many other places to buy a new Chevy to waste your time with a dealer who's sales manger is clueless about customer service. It was comical to hear him on the phone tell me I was satisfied while not taking the time to listen to what my real concern was. ***Update*** After the dealership received my review from GM, the general manager called me and resolved the situation I had. He send me a check for $400 to cover the cost I had incurred getting the part added to my car by someone else.

I bought a 2008 zero miles Impala from Plant city, well the closed down. I took my service too Freman for a balance issue over 4 times. The problem is still there no one could tell why the car needs balance every 2-3 weeks. They calm the car has no problems, so why do they balance it everytime I take it in? Please People don't not buy or take your car there save yourself the time and go somewhere else. The treat is so bad. Never going back or buying GM!
