Great selection and the sales team was upfront. I didn't feel like we were having to play the games. The service department is quick and thorough. They take care of us each time we need service (so far just oil changes and a small fix for the air conditioner).

I’ve never left a dealership and felt good about my purchase. They just try to screw you over. HOWEVER, go here and talk to Dion. He’ll hook you up. No pressure sales. He has good recommendations for additional options, but it’s good advice and does not pressure you. Best car shopping experience I’ve ever had.

Thank you Fox for fantastic customer service! Scott in financing helped us with paperwork and Michael from the service both went above and beyond! Scott went out of his way to help finalize the paperwork when there was an error and worked with our schedules to meet up with us. Michael took great care of us in the service department! I even told the tire expert that I had seen earlier in the week how well we were taken care of, he said if he ever needs a new car he’ll keep how y’all treated us in mind. Again THANK YOU FOX! Well worth the drive from Kalamazoo!!!

I happened to stop in GR on my way through the area and after meeting with Andrew the one time - I knew that he was who I wanted to work with to purchase a Subaru. He was extremely knowledgeable, has an incredible personality and attitude, and was very patient with me as I wasn't sure what I wanted. He kept in touch for over a month checking in with me and letting me know what was available that I was interested in. When I finally made a decision that I was ready to purchase the vehicle, he made the process so simple and seamless and was able to provide me with exactly what I wanted. I would recommend working with him to anyone that I know. I would say that I probably had the best car buying experience ever!

The biggest thing that sticks out is that we were openly reminded of our tire change for winter when we requested a tire rotation. That saved us $20. That means a lot to us considering we drive all the way from Portage for our service. There's a reason we drive so many miles for the service. Keep it up!

Bill Dykstra, our salesman, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very patient with us when we had questions and extremely patient with us during the tutorial on the "dashboard gadgets." We could tell how much he loved the car we were buying and how excited he was for us to drive it and buy it. The other two gentleman that were involved in the process were very helpful as well. I believe one of their names was Russ and I'm sorry to have to admit, the other name escapes me, but believe he helped with the warranties, etc. We were also impressed by how clean and updated the dealership was, as well as the perk of having a drive through lane for oil checks and a special car wash for "Fox" vehicles. Very impressive! Can't wait to start driving/riding in the new car! Thanks for everything.

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable for vehicle service. We love Subarus! I purchased my 2016 Legacy a year ago and have been very happy with the car. Many positives and only two negatives. When I bought the car I seemed to know more about the car than the salesperson, but they may have been new. The car sat on the back lot for 2 days before I was allowed to pick it up. The Cadillac sales service I was used to at Crown Motors was of better quality. However, when a person sells a newer Cadillac to purchase a Subaru, that makes a powerful statement. The Cadillac dealerships customer service may have been better, but Subaru vehicles are a better value and better quality. Also, I wish there was a dealership in the Holland area so I don't have to drive an hour out of my way to get the car serviced. Other than that , love it! The marketing is spot on too. We love watching the commercials. Keep up the good work!

Scheduled the appointment online instead of having to call. The check-in process the day of service was prompt. The interior of the garage is state of the art. They informed me of a certain recall on the vehicle and performed the fix free of charge. They had the tires in stock and called me to get approval for the change. The service I had was done in a very timely manner and the service manager showed me two filters he felt needed to be replaced and allowed me to make the decision. By seeing the filters for myself, I was convinced that they needed to be replaced and had them done along with my oil change. Every one at the Subaru dealership/service department is very nice and very professional. I spoke with a neighbor who also drives a Subaru and had her oil changed the same day at a local quick stop oil change place. She paid $25 more for her oil change than I paid at Fox Subaru. She assures me she will be getting her next oil change at Fox. I highly recommended to her that she take her car to Fox Subaru.

There was zero pressure and she knew a lot about the Impreza I was interested in. The last car I bought at a Dealer (HZ Plainwell) was a nightmare! I was lied to 9 times that I knew of and he yelled at me and my wife in front of his boss for backing out of the non-manufacturer warranty that he guaranteed me was a genuine Chrysler extended warranty. He treated us as real people with real lives, not just customers that he can make a sale to. He took a long time to make sure I knew all about my new car before I drove it off the lot and and looked to other resources if he wasn't sure about something. The dealership was exceptionally clean and friendly, even appeared to be pet friendly. Michael also took time to explain the financial aspect and made sure I understood all the paperwork. He also was extremely friendly, polite, and treated me as someone other than just a customer. My purchase was on a holiday weekend and no one seemed anxious about hurrying me out the door. I'm very satisfied with my purchase experience on all levels from start to finish.

Salesman Nick knew the several products we had questions about but did not "knock" the competition we looked at online and the internet. A clean shop and system to handle repairs has been important to use for 15 years at this dealership, Knowledgeable staff for billing; hours of operation, rapid time in answering the phone and on other matters is just excellent. We are keeping our 16 year old Forester because of the service at this dealership. Warm coffee and cookies on winter's day is also a classy service.

I recently went in to purchase a 2016 Subaru Impreza sport on June 26. I waited for a sales rep to help me out but it seemed like nobody wanted to work for a sale. So I walked inside and talked to the receptionist about talking to someone so I could take it for a test ride. Jen came out to give me the whole speal about the car. Took it for a ride and instantly knew it was the car for me, but ended up taking a different one for a test drive. After the test drive i told her I was interested and we needed to talk numbers. She then asked me how I wanted to pay, and with my response her whole attitude changed.I told her I wanted to pay cash for the car She then told me that they have a 0% financing up to 36 months blah blah.NO I don't want a car payment Anyways, after tax and everything it came out to 1500$ more than what I wanted to pay. Now I have bought a couple vehicle brand new in my lifetime and never have I once payed sticker price. So I know there is a little room to work with. I told her I have 25k cash right now for the vehicle. Sticker price was $24,999.She wasn't budging and kept insisting for some reason that I finance. Are you joking??I then told her I would have to think about it as it was higher than what I originally intended on spending, hoping that she would change something and help me out. She didn't!Later that night I left her a message telling her I really loved the car but just couldn't spend the extra $$ and maybe she had a 2015 with the same features just a little less expensive for me..I have still gotten no response from her. So not only was I upset that I waited over half hour in the lot before I went inside to get help but I WAS another sale for Fox Subaru Grand Rapids and the terrible customer service turned me to go somewhere else.

If only there were a 0 star option. Subarus are a great car but this dealership does not do them justice. After an agreed upon out the door price a factory recall was made on the car's airbag by Subaru. The used car manager claimed he now couldn't sell it for less than $1100 over the agreed upon price. They did not honor our original deal, even though I have the paperwork stating the agreement and the price. I have never tried so hard to get a dealership to SELL ME a car! I spent over two weeks calling this place for updates on the vehicle and they never returned calls. The receptionist is only willing to transfer the calls to voicemails of the sales agents. The used car manager, Gareth, broke the original agreement price he made with us because of a factory recall, that I'm sure Subaru covered the cost of. I do not have any good things to say about my experience with this place or the staff. Buyers should seriously beware and take extreme caution. Plenty of other (honorable) Subaru dealerships out there. Go to them first!

The gracious hospitality started from the time that I walked through the front door on each day. The receptionist looked at me, introduced herself, and asked how she could help. That is the highest compliment. More businesses should add this. Caleb was so professional and educated in the details of Subaru vehicles. He took a lot of time talking with me, to find out what I needed, and what I wanted. I traded in a 2013 Subaru Outback for a 2016. We discussed the things that I liked on my 2013, and the options on a 2016. He treated me like a Queen! He was able to incorporate all of these things, and I drove away in my new Subaru Outback the next day.And, he happened to be the salesman that sold a new Subaru to my son, two weeks earlier. We did not know, or plan this. And, the young man that concluded the agreement was as exceptional as Caleb. I apologize that I don't remember his name. He explained the entire contract, and did not hurry to skim over any part of it. He was able to better define the options to me, as I had more questions on road service and tire warranties. As a recent widow, I am very concerned about car problems on the road, and costs. I received such excellent service, during my time spent buying my second new Subaru Outback.

The way the staff worked with my wife. I was working with 4 dealerships on getting my new car. Yours was the only one that treated my wife with the common respect that any one show be given. The other dealerships did not even notice that she was standing beside me. Even one was slow to reply to a question from her. Your staff was great and I will be sharing that with anyone that asks.Also, the play area that my son was able to be entertained in made us feel safe to do our paper work and not have to have him in the same room with us.

Had a great experience from first visit up to picking up the car. Unfortunately there were no Crosstrek's in stock on my first visit, but Nick was very open about the timetable on when to expect them in and continuing to keep in touch. Never felt pressured to make any decisions I wasn't comfortable with, as everything was explained in an informative manner that allowed me to decide what was best. Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Subaru or car period!

I had a punctured tire and was stuck at home. This happened on Christmas Eve (Thursday 12-24-15). I had brought the tire to Belle Tire (Fox Subaru was already closed). I left the tire there for them to order a new tire on Monday. On Monday I found out they could not get a new tire for 2-3 days. I then called Fox Subaru. Dennis had Frank come to my home to pick me up, go get the tire from Belle Tire, bring me to Subaru, fix the tire and bring me home. It was outstanding customer service!! We have shared this story with our family and friends. It saved me a lot of time and expense. Thanks very much!!!!

We have a 2015 Outback and brought it to the dealership for our first oil change. We have noticed a "wind noise" on the right front passenger side door, so I mentioned it to Dave in the service department. He offered to check it out and came back to let me know he would make sure it was fixed under warrenty. He gave me an accurate time frame (2 hours) and asked me if I wanted to have the work done while I was there or come back. I was glad they would be able to work on the car that day so I chose to stay and get it fixed. I was impressed with Dave's customer service. He came out to let me know how much longer it would be and kept me updated as I waited. The problem was fixed by the dealership and we no longer have the noise. Thank you for a great first experience at Fox Subaru Service!

I liked the ease of appointment setting (online ), being greeted promptly upon arrival, that there was no issue with my earlier than appointed arrival, and the cost of service being lower than estimated as a result of structuring billing differently so as to produce savings and being provided coupon savings with a coupon I did not initiate. I also appreciated the shops ability to perform the 105,000 mile service I had requested via the online appointment setting, but that wasnt reflected with the Service Advisor's system. A loaner in lieu of a shuttle was a very unexpected but pleasant surprise.

I had a 2:30 appointment when I drove into one of the cleanest service lanes I've ever been to, immediately greeted by the service lane employee. Directed me to the service advisors right away. The service advisor, Dennis greeted me before I had a chance to say hello. Asked what i was here for (recall repair), so he got me all setup for the recall repair. I asked about some extra work being done (bumper cover install), Dennis said he would get me an estimate shortly and sent me to the lounge which was awesome with water and coffee and quiet, too. Dennis came back minutes later w/ the estimate for the extra work, so I told him to go forward. About 25 min later, I figured I'll get settled in thinking it would take an hour or two before the car would be finished - at least 20 min before it'd get started on (been to many dealers where I watch it sit in the service lane for 30-45 min AFTER my scheduled appt time). But, ten minutes later and only 35 min after I got there, all of the work I needed done was completed AND Dennis had my car washed, AND it was sitting right were I left it. I've been to a lot of dealers - Chevy, Jeep, Ford - but never one like Fox Subaru. It's awesome to see how customers who only made an appointment for recall repair are treated. Tell Dennis thank you.

My husband set up an oil change and a 30,000 mile warranty check up. He did not inquire as to how much time it would take for the warranty check up. When Dave M (and Austin?) noticed my frustration with a 3.5 hour wait, they immediately found a loaner car for me and also provided a coupon for my visit...this is why we enjoy Fox Subaru. Had 1st appointment cancelled the day of the appointment (told it was due to running behind and illness of staff). Rescheduled fine....but at the completion of service, (due to computer glitch I was told) I received no receipt, but I could wait longer to get one. While I think the customer service folk are friendly......I'm not so sure of your service department staff and your computers are up to snuff.

After purchasing and having my Impreza serviced at Fox Subaru for many years, the past few months have been frankly troubling. The service department has gone from taking great care with questions, and explanations for servicing my vehicle, to a severely diminished customer service focus. While the new building and facilities certainly are nice, there is no privacy. Staff openly initiates service and monetary discussions in the middle of the lobby where multiple customers are waiting. Even after giving them the benefit of the doubt on two occasions, discussing concerns with the service adviser and general manager, little to no effort to address the concerns or even communicate an understanding of the concerns has occurred.Additionally, there seems to be a lack in attention to detail, which truly drives success for a genuinely customer service oriented organization. The multi point service inspection paperwork is often incomplete. You can count on the electronic portion to be filled in. Suggested maintenance is written down, and the service adviser is unprepared to discuss the cost for such maintenance. When we asked what the cost would be, an estimate was given on the fly, and we were told to call back to get a an accurate estimate.Prices have increased considerably since they have moved into the new building.Overall, we are sad to say this, but we will not be returning to Fox Subaru. Up to Muskegon we go.

When buying or leasing a car from the Subaru branch of this Delta Imports, be prepared for problems and to make a lot of phone calls or visits. Also, be very skeptical about promises from the sales staff. Get everything they promise in writing with signatures. I recently leased a new Subaru from Delta Imports. When I picked the car up, I discovered that it had some factory flaws which multiple members of the sales staff promised to have fixed at no cost as soon as the replacement parts were available and at my convenience (even promising to come and pick up the car and deliver a loaner to me for the day or so needed to make the repairs). Most of that did not happen. After 3 months, I hadn't heard anything from anyone. So, I checked with the dealership service and parts departments during a scheduled oil change. The parts department had no record of me in their part ordering system because the sales department had not placed the part request...after 3 months. The parts department promised to order the required parts and have someone contact me when they were available to be installed. They did say that one of the parts was not yet available, and it could take several more weeks before it was. After another month, I was at the dealership for a warranty-covered repair (wheel bearing had gone bad after 4000 miles), and I checked with the parts department on the status of my initial request. As it turned out, the parts for my initially needed repair had been sitting in a back room at the dealership for two weeks, but no one had contacted me. Luckily, it was a slow day for the service department, and the service manager was pretty good in dealing with the situation. So, I was able to get all the necessary repairs done that day. Very poor communication between departments and minimal effort toward customer service. To top things off, the dealership has since sent me several requests/incentive offers to recommend them to people looking to buy or lease a car.

Their costs are high even for a dealer. It would be cheaper to buy the parts you need from their online store beforehand than to have them supply them. I don't understand the reason for that.Make sure to call the service concierge directly when making an appointment. The person i talked to when making the appointment did not set up all the things i wanted done so the parts were not available. The customer service was fine but I'm having all other service done somewhere else.

I purchased 2 cars from this dealer and have had all servicing performed by them as well. I pay the higher cost because I expect a premium level of service. Every time I bring my car home, be it an oil change or a $600 maintenance, there is an issue with one of the cars lights. The first time (within 6 months of purchasing a CPO A6) one of the front headlights needed replacing. Then after returning from another service a different lightbulb had issues. Now, a day after returning from another maintenance, my rear headlights aren't working. Coincidence? you be the judge, but these additional "repairs" amount to hundreds of dollars over the service charge. Needless to say, I'm taking my business elsewhere.

After our first experience with Delta, my family and I thought we would not return there again to have our vehicle serviced. However, the general manager, Ryan Coe, stepped up and made sure our bad experience was turned around. Our original visit was to have the car hooked up to the computer and to let us know any codes that the vehicle reported, as well as to have the turbos checked for leaking seals. When we arrived, Delta had no record of our appointment, and after waiting a very long time to get our car checked out, we were not provided the information we had requested. Ryan called us at home to apologize, and asked us to come back so that he could make things right. He allowed us to drop the car off the night before, and even offered a free loaner vehicle. We were later given the full diagnosis of the vehicle, and while we were not happy with the estimated cost (expensive), that is not the fault of the dealership. In the end we were provided with the level of service that we expected, and I respect and appreciate the general manager for reaching out to us and making sure we were taken care of properly. I no longer have any reservations about returning to Delta for service of our Audi A6. They have proven to me that customer service is important to them, and I will recommend Delta to others.

I am a first time Subaru owner and brought my vehicle in for an oil change. The work appeared to be done but the attention to detail was poor. The Service Advisor was certainly friendly but no one reset the service indicator interval. That seemed like a fundamental and basic part of the service that was lacking. It certainly diminished my confidence that the actual service was performed correctly if they would gloss over that essential portion of the appointment. If I need to return for service, I am hopeful that they improve and "pay attention to the details".

I am a proponent of buying local but have been disappointed by Delta. I was attempting to acquire a vehicle from a sister dealership but Delta was uber S-L-O-W in attempting to acquire. After days of dickering with the sales staff (voicemails, emails etc.) I simply went to the dealership from which they were attempting to acquire the desired vehicle and purchased it directly. This is not necessarily a criticism of Delta as other dealerships have been similarly tardy in acquiring the desired vehicle when their inventory was bereft of the desired/optioned vehicle. Sadly, I guess "a leopard cannot change its spots" will continue to be the prevailing pithy saying for Delta and related dealerships.

We traveled from Grand Rapids to Kzoo to buy our new car saving us 4K plus the people were nicer to work with! If you have the extra cash buy a car from Delta, if not shop else where!! Just completed the purchase of a 2013 Audi S4 from Delta Imports. This is the second car Delta Imports has sold me in the last 3 years; having purchased a Porsche Boxster in 2011. Prior the that, we also purchased a new 2006 Subaru from Delta Imports and Dion Newkirk.From the first contract to the closing paperwork, Dion Newkirk, Charles Van Wyk, the managers and F&I folks were professional, responsive and fair. The Audi was a special order from the factory and the entire process took over 3 months to complete; giving many opportunities for interaction. Throughout, I was given updates on the build status and expected delivery through regular email updates.The sales experience was no-pressure and the negotiated price was fair without any games. They even found an Audi factory rebate for "conquest buyers" that went into effect after the order was made but before delivery. No promises were made that were not kept. Everyone was helpful and prompt in their responses, going out of their way to make sure everything was friendly. This fair and positive buying experience was a repeat of what happened when the Porsche and the Subaru were bought off the lot.I highly recommend Dion Newkirk, Charles Van Wyk and Delta Imports if you're in the market for an Audi, Porsche or Subaru.

We have three Audis, two with 220+ thousand miles on them, and we always get great service when bringing any one of them in for scheduled or as needed service. We find all the staff to be pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about our cars and we always get a ride or a loaner, if needed, on the days we leave the car for the day. We have also bought two of our cars there, one CPO and one new, and have found the sales staff easy to work with. The showroom and waiting areas are clean and comfortable and everyone there makes extra effort to do the right thing by us. The only issue of concern might be cost of labor but I'd rather have knowledgeable, experienced techs working on our cars than otherwise. We've been with this dealership for over 15 years now, starting with Subarus, and we've been very happy and pleased with the service and treatment we've received regardless of auto brand we've owned. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone.

Brought my 2005 Outback XT in for another blown turbo..... after Subaru replaced the first one under warranty! The second turbo lasted 14000 miles and failed, 2000 miles out of warranty? They told me 11.5k to replace the turbo and the bottom half of the motor! After doing research, a new factory motor and turbo can be bought for $6500!! When dealing with the service manager Dave.... he was clueless to what was going on with my car, and he even thought my car was already complete? And when i asked the service consultant Dave Moerland over the phone, what he would do if he was me...he suggested he'd hang the phone up and cry? WTF Some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Needless to say..... i had the car fixed for $1700 from another local Subaru mechanic and purchased another New 2012 Outback from the fine fellows in Lansing Subaru! Be careful..... Dave will blow smoke up your aat% AND RIPP YOU OFF!! Update.... I brought my new 2012 Outback into Delta to have something looked at that was under warranty. Dave Moerland freaked out, he spoke loudly in front of other customers about how he work here for 17 years and complained about how i left bad comments about him that were uncalled for! I was just being honest and wanted to share my experience with the world (yelp)!!! He said he didn't even want to service my Subaru... he was done with me and would have his Manager call me. I quietly left and called Subaru of America in their parking lot :)Delta gives "Subaru of America" a really bad name!!

Bought my CPO Audi from a private party out of state (back when the CPO could be transferred, unfortunately no longer an option with Audis) and have taken it for service at German Auto, Prestige, Community Auto, Rochester Audi, and Delta. By far my best experiences have been at Delta, and this is from someone who is wary of "stealerships." German Auto and Community are closer to where I live and work, but it's been worth the drive for me to take it to Delta. The repair costs are usually the same, sometimes a little higher than the independent shops, but in my experience, they almost always get the job done right the first time. (An aside: at Community, I was told I'd "have to get used to it" regarding a rattle after a $2000+ suspension upgrade, a problem that turned out to be a loose fastener. At German Auto, they charged me for a windshield wiper fluid top off (!!) following a $800+ timing belt change. It's the little things, guys! Prestige's hours suck.) Delta has provided me with free loaners when my car would be in longer, even now when the car is no longer under warranty. All in all they treat my car and me very well. The waiting room experience is pleasant, too, although last time I was there it was a bit crowded.
