I purchased a worry free maintenance program for my 2016 Jetta, which was to include all scheduled maintenance for three years. When I brought my car in for the 10,000 mile check up, I was told that tire rotation was not included in the program, which was not explained to me when I purchased it. The service rep went ahead and included it in my visit. It was much appreciated.

When I experienced a problem with my Jetta Sportwagen (the 7th VW I've owned over the years), I went to Fox Valley VW because it was the dealer nearest my new residence. Although I had no prior history with this dealership and had no appointment, service consultant Brandon Lewis had my vehicle inspected immediately. What I thought was a simple rattle in the rear bumper turned out to be a serious problem with the suspension. Parts were readily available, and the repair was completed while I waited. Such knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous treatment from the service technicians convinced me that Fox Valley VW would be my dealer of choice for service after I complete my move to my new residence in the Chicago suburbs.

First when I drove in, a gentleman welcomed me and was very, very nice and helpful. Then the service adviser, Glen assisted me and had my loaner brought up quickly, so I was totally in and out in a very short amount of time. Glen did a great job from start to finish in making sure my 60K service was handled perfectly, was finished hours before the initial estimate and when asked if there were any service specials or discounts from a new awards program, Glen provided a 10% discount which I very much appreciated especially for a job that was going to be well over $500. When I picked up my car the young lady who was the cashier was very nice and super helpful. Everyone at the dealership was pleasant, excellent communicators, happy and genuinely interested in making my experience there a good one. Job well done, as always as I purchased my Passat there and have always had it service there and it has always been a great experience. Thanks!

Carlos was competent and tried his best to give us what we wanted. He was very pleasant to deal with. The manager was also very straight forward and gave us a fair deal on our trade in as well as assuring us that the VW we wanted would be ready in two or three weeks. He kept his word and it was ready within two weeks.David, the accountant was helpful and clearly explained everything. Another salesman also helped us with some of our questions when we went to see David for the second time. All in all, it was one of our best car buying experiences--and we are in our seventies.

To start with I went in with no appointment. I needed an oil change, tires rotated an all fluids checked and filled where needed. I talked to Brandon who assured me he could take care of me and that I could wait or they would drive me home or work whatever I would prefer. I decided to wait. Brandon got me in and out in record time. Had myself a free cup of coffee watched a little TV. Brandon found me explained every was fine and I would be good for another 10,000 miles. In and out in record time and the price was right better then those independent oil change places I used to go to and you know these mechanics know there business. We were in the market for a new car and had already decided that we wanted a 2014 VW Golf TDI. We had just had an extremely awful experience at the VW dealership in Mount Prospect so our expectations weren't very high when we first made contact with the Fox Valley VW but from the first call I made I was impressed.Alana was very pleasant and courteous in making arrangements for when my wife and I could come to look at the car we saw online. My wife arrived ahead of me and by the time I got there she was sold. Fernando, the salesman, was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. Shay, the manager, was easy to work with, fair and likeable. My wife had told them of our horrible experience with Vic at the the other dealership and how she didn't want to do the whole "back and forth" negotiating. We didn't. We were offered a fair value for our trade-in and agreed to purchase almost immediately. From there we worked with Jimmy from financing and he too was like able. He explained all of the documents and walked us through the paperwork while Fernando went about readying the car to drive home that night. All in all it was the most pleasurable experience we've ever had buying a car. It's now been about a week since purchase and we couldn't be happier. My wife loves her new car. Thanks.

This is our 2nd car purchase, we felt no pressure to buy, the owners son Shay, assisted with our first purchase and actually remembered us. The team was very responsive. I was purchasing a used car and did not expect the new car sales experience. They treated me better than some of my new car purchase experiences at other dealers. I was given time to check the car out, taking it to my own mechanic first. They answered all of my questions and even took time to show my daughter all of the features of the car before leaving the lot. Considering that the car was not even a Volkswagen, I felt that was above and beyond. Follow up calls and emails after the purchase added to the feeling that I was a valued customer. All services I would expect for a new car purchase, a real plus for the used car buying experience.

Knowing this I wanted to make sure this I wanted to make sure we didn't exceed this time frame. So I decided to time the car was taken in back all the way through me driving the car back home. I dropped my vehicle off for service. My driver seat was fine. when I went to pick up my vehicle, the driver seat would not lock in position. They checked it and said it was a broken cable. and quoted me a price. I told them that it was fine when I dropped the vehicle off and I did not understand why now it was broken. I contacted Fox Valley Volkswagen of West Chicago through cars.com. I was interested in a certified pre-owned CC and saw one I liked on line. After an email exchange with the Dealer I arranged to look at the vehicle a couple of Saturdays ago. Early in the day I confirmed the time I was coming in. When I arrived I learned that the car I was interested in had been sold the previous day. Although I drove another CC it was a more expensive car than the one I had originally come to see. I understand the need to have potential customers come to the dealership to look at cars. However, would have been reassured of this dealer's fair dealing practices if they had advised me when I confirmed the appointment that the car I was interested in had been sold, but they had other vehicles at a differnent price point I could look at.

Fox Valley VW was a lot of fun...took my son there to purchase his first new car and it was a great experience for him ..from the salesman ,Mike ,,to the financial staff ...to the service people....nothing but top of the line courteous and friendly people.. I would highly recommend anyone to visit Fox Valley ....Thanks again !!!...

I bought a vw jetta TDI in march of 2012 from this dealer.One month later i returned to have some mechanical problem [the car it is eziting at low rpm ]fixed but they could not fix it .I returned two more times and of course they said that "there is nothing wrong with the car".If you don't want to have the same experience ,do not buy a car from this dealer.Service departament is below average.
