Dealership allowed time for us to make decision. No pressure to "sign up now", very open and helpful.Got the exact truck wanted and saved a bunch of money. Some of the savings was due to the time we took to decide as additional company rebates became available.

I purchased my Jeep from Route 4 in Paramus what a mistake those people charged me for things that should have been covered under warranty and never offered a rental or loaner car. I brought the car to Precision on 23 in butler for software recall I was there for 5 hours waiting for the software to update they said it failed once and the had to start again. The next day I got a message about the def fluid and I had 150 miles before the car would not start again. I brought it to them they replaced the injector the message was that the pressure was too low. The next day the message came back so I brought it back to Precision the only thing they did was add more def fluid I knew that was not going to fix anything but what was I do do. The next day the same message I called them and they told me to take it back to Paramus! I had received a call from Chris Damiano about the car and he gave me Jim Tester's name. I called Jim and explained the whole thing I was literately pleading with him to not make me go back to Rout 4. I have nothing good to say about them. Jim and the service team accurately diagnosed the problem as being with the pump for the DEF. I would like to thank Jim and everyone else from Franklin Sussex I was really besides myself with this problem. I travel between West Milford and Wayne each day my boss does not want to hear any excuses for me not showing up for work and I really need this job!!!Yours TrulyDoug Drada24 Upsala PathWest Milford NJ973 464 6119

Our first visit the wrong door was fixed and our front heating panel did not work correctly after we got home. Brought car back and this time parts had to be ordered for door and panel needed to be reprogrammed. We were not notified when parts were in so we could schedule an appointment. Also they sounded annoyed when we called and kept reminding us they would call when the parts arrive. (which they did not). If we hadn't called them after another week to check we would not have known parts were in. Took car in for 3rd visit for door and panel.Service did not call to inform us that our car would not be ready for pick up. After 4 calls to get thru to service over a 2 hour period, employee answering phone could not give us answers why or how long it was going to take. Hoping to be one of those HAPPY customers but so far I want to get this done and get out of there.

This dealership is a joke. My car broke down at 24,000 miles due to transmission failure. my UConnect bluetooth module was not working either. at the time of transmission repair my car had a cold air intake, exhaust and metal intercooler instead of the stock plastic one (mainly becuase the intercooler mount melted from how hot this car ran stock. ) Transmission was repaired no questions asked. however the bluetooth module was not fixed because the dealership had told me the car was too new and they didn't know why it was locked up and acting like it was.The car functioned fine for about another 30k miles. -- at 59k(ish) miles the transmission was behaving strange and telling me auto stick was not available. I went back to franklin sussex. they looked at the transmission and flashed new firmware due to a "Safety Recall" I came and picked up my car. However i was charged a diagnostic fee to tell me my uconnect was locked up (which i already paid for back when I found out my Uconnect was locked up the first time i went in for service) and it would cost me $450 to fix. outraged I asked to speak to Jim, telling him that It should be paid for since the issue was documented since 24k miles. Jim turned me away and told me he wouldn't budge on helping me.So now not only was I out 120$ for a diagnostic fee that I told them i didn't want because i knew the reason the bluetooth wasn't working. at this point they wouldn't stand behind their product. Car goes in 3 days later (For transmission issues what a surprise!) This time they blamed it on a wiring issue. stating that it was an electrical short causing the transmission issues. and I was charged $247. Annoyed I paid it and picked up my car and was on my way. 2 weeks later my car goes in for transmission issues yet again. Mind you every time my car has gone in for service it has had the same parts on it and no questions asked. I was also put in a rental no questions asked. Paid for. This time i was put in a rental. They told me that they would call me and let me know whats going on when they can get to it which was about a week from then. A week goes by and Pam calls me telling me that Jim would like to speak to me. Jim gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me that he isnt going to fix my car because my modifications are the reason my transmission is having issues. Annoyed we went back and forth on the phone for a little bit. Jim admitted that the modifications weren't the reason for the transmission issues - unless the car was tuned very very heavily the parts I had on it would not do anything to the transmission. yet he would still not honor fixing the car even thought there were no new parts added and it was in the same condition as it was when it broke down and 24000 miles and the "engineers came to look at it and okayed it for repair"2 days later im blind-sided by a charge for 547.51 for the cost of my rental. Furious i called the dealership and Jim told me he isnt covering my rental and that I was Informed when i got the rental that it would be on me if they didnt fix the car. The funny thing is I didnt speak to jim about my car until i had already received it back. when I was given my rental I was given a reservation number on the phone drove over two days later. handed my keys over to Pam and had enterprise outside waiting for me.Frustrated I reached out to a buddy of mine who is a mechanic for the company. He let me know that the transmission has been blown from the start and they didnt fix it because the dealership did not want to take the hit for a transmission. nothing that was done to the car had any relation to why the car wasn't functioning. Needless to say I will never refer another family member or friend (Which i sent alot of) to get a car from here. we will all go to different dealerships for service. and I am going to let everyone know about the service and mistreatment I received from this dealership.Avoid this dealership at any cost. they will try to nickle and dime you where as Precision in Butler will really take care of you. Drive the few extra miles.

This is the fourth vehicle that I bought from Franklin Sussex Auto Mall , this time my wife and I had the pleasure of dealing with Nina Margarucci the internet manager. Nina is a very patient and helpful person , she took the time to find out what we needed in the new vehicle and let us test drive a few . She was not a pushy salesperson at all and she pays attention to to your needs. I also have to say the service department is very good , I have all my oil changes and service performed by them and never once had a problem. I feel I can always trust the people at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall and they will always have a customer in me.

Salesman Jason was great. Great personality and customer service. I wasn't looking to get a car for a few months but being a good Salesman, Jason listened to my needs and was able to get Management and myself to agree to a reasonable deal. The 2 managers I spoke to were not pushovers but did compromise. They were all respectful to me and my wife. Even when I thought we couldn't agree on a price, they didn't get rude and give attitude and walk off. They kept offering a compromise on both parties. Just a few minor mistakes were made.. when they got my car it actually was a different one but had similar options. Was not a big deal. Next issue was the car didn't have the headphones and remote control. Again, no big deal and Jason called me a week later to tell me he has them. Once again, minor mistakes but they corrected them.Thank you all once again.

Took my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for 2 recalls that were needed. While picking up my vehicle, the Service Advisor (Pam) advised me the mechanic found I had a bad water pump that would need replacing. It was under warranty so there would be no charge, however it was out of stock. When it came in it was replaced with the only cost being a new serpentine belt.Thank you to the mechanic and Pam for a job well done. I am very satisfied with the service my vehicle received.

I brought my vehicle in on a Wednesday morning and the service manager promptly notified me while waiting that the capital (A!) warning light on my dashboard resulted in (9) nine problem diagnostic codes emanating from my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited with only 19,000 miles and would require extensive testing. A rental car was promptly ordered. The dealer advised me the next day that the manufacturer recommended a complete transmission replacement with a brand new factory built 9-speed transmission. The following day Friday, the transmission arrived and the technician got to work on the major job. I picked up my car (3) three business days later after the technician and service manager drove it extensively to confirm the repair. After a week in the shop a car wash would have been nice. So far it is driving like a brand new vehicle.

Dealer did an oil change and tire rotation. They are ususally very good but this time they left a big oily handprint on my passenger side seat and never reset the Oil Life Sensor. They talked me thru resetting it on my own, but a $60 maintenance bill should not have me completing the job. They also offered to clean my seat but I couldn't at the time. I will go back when the parts come in for the additional warranty work the mechanic found. The facility was also very messy as they were having alot of concrete work done in the parking lot, leaving white marks around the tires and wheel wells as they drove thru the wet areas. They should wash off, but still very much below my expectations for a service visit.

Recently, ive been shopping for jeeps. I tried a couple places and was discouraged with other places i visited. The efforts of Lisa Drake, the manager Joe whose last name I can't remember, and the gentleman helping with the lease application - all three of these persons made for a smooth and easy transition from considering a Chrysler Pacifica to the actual leasing of it. We hadn't expected such an easy and comfortable transaction, especially since we had already gone to another Pacifica dealer the weekend before. We left the first dealership very disappointed because they couldn't meet our needs. At Franklin Sussex Auto Mall we were pleasantly surprised with their level of communication and expertise. Very fair pricing on the new Pacifica and for my trade-in Town & Country. Kyle the sales person was very Knowledgeable about the vehicle and was very friendly and not pushy about selling the vehicle. This is my second vehicle purchase from Franklin Sussex. They made my purchase of my 2014 Ram 1500 big horn easy and were straight forward with me on pricing and financing options and my trade in value .So when I decided that now might be a good time to trade in my 2014 based on low miles excellent condition and a remaining portion of the factory warranty I thought this to be a good time to entertain my options on a 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie. They worked hard (especially my salesman Derek Harlin) and the finance team and all others involved to make my deal.I want to mention I did shop the internet and a few dealers close to my home but choose Franklin Sussex again. The experience of purchasing a vehicle is usually uncomfortable and tiring. This was not the case at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall. Billy Dugan was our salesperson. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, making the entire experience very relaxing and enjoyable. While we had a general idea of what we wanted, he patiently took us through all of our options. His knowledge of the vehicles helped us tremendously. We ended up purchasing the vehicle that fit our exact needs. I cannot say enough about how great an experience we had because of Billy. And while it has only been two days since our purchase we have already told a friend of ours to contact Billy for help in possibly purchasing their car.

Wanted to wait 5 months or so before I reviewed this dealership. For me, this the most painless new auto transactions I have ever done. Saw the truck on line talked price over the phone, went to the dealership and was out in less than 3 hours. Truck was the 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Longhorn 4x4. I have not dealt with the service department yet so I have no comment on that. I dealt with the internet sales people (wish I remembered the sales person) and Mr. John Rodriguez in the F&I department. I never felt pressured and felt I got a better that average deal.

This is the second car we've leased from this dealer. In both instances our sales rep was amazing; thorough, knowledgable and listened to what we had to say. This dealer makes what can be a daunting experience pleasurable. We test drove at least 4, maybe 5 vehicles and our rep, Romalia, knew each one inside and out and pointed out, based on our conversations,what would be pros and cons for us. Never pushed up to go for more than what we wanted or needed.I left yesterday driving a new vehicle that I never expected to be able to get. No haggling back and forth, the deal offered was what I wanted. No nonsense. Not often you get to meet an owner even before you purchase a car. Then he comes out to say thank you! Bill made us feel like he wanted our business and was glad we came to his dealership. This is not the nearest nor most convenient location based on where we live, but none of the other local dealers can compare. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and there to assist customers. This is what the car buying experience should be all over. I would recommend them to anyone. I wouldn't look elsewhere when next looking for a car from the brands they sell. Not only that but while we were shopping they did some minor warranty upgrades for us on our other vehicle. Saved us a trip back this week when we had an appointment scheduled. This was after we just mentioned that we'd be back later in the week for the service. They didn't have to do that. Great customer service, again.

I always get my Durango serviced here and am usuall happy with it.However my most recent visit resulted in a very bad experience. After my service and leaving the dealership I made a stop. I noticed smoke coming from under my hood and the smell of oil burning.I figured they must have had some oil drip onto the engine. When I opened the hood I could see oil splatter all over. there was oil spots on the underside of the hood, the cowl, the inner fenders, engine components, the windshield wipers and some on the lower windshield. When I got home I spent about and hour cleaning it up. Its a real pain to get oil spots off everything. I always keep my vehicle very clean and under my hood is no exception.I always wipe where I can when I wash the vehicle. It appears the mechanic had a mishap when filling the oil and I could see where he did some wipe up but left a lot of areas spotted.I called my service person and advised of my displeasure with the under hood condition and issue. She apologized and stated she would let the service manager know.

Brought my car in for a check engine light service and the staff was a pleasure to deal with. They also fixed a recall issue and updated a couple of programmimg codes within a day. I only gave them a day notice, but they still accomodated me. I tried to make an appointment with the dealership (Route 46 Jeep) where I purchased my car and the earlieast that they could give was two weeks away. Highly recommended!

Leasing a car from Franklin Sussex was a pleasure compared to other dealers I checked. First of all they have an extensive inventory of vehicles. They had exactly the car I wanted with the exterior color and interior color in leather I preferred. We settled on a price over the phone and I went to the dealer the next morning and closed the deal exactly as we agreed on the phone. My salesman was Sam Nazarro who was very knowledgeable and very professional in closing the deal No funny business about changing the numbers or trying to sell me extras I didn.t want ( Something I experienced with other dealerships I had visited before Franklin/Sussex). All told I think I was driving home with my new Jeep about 2 and 1/2 hours after setting foot in the showroom. That included a test drive, credit check ,car prep and delivery.This dealership is over an hour from my home but well worth the trip. I highly recommend this dealership and especially Sam Nazarro. Ask for him. You won't regret it.

It's not even 1 star! Don't take you're vehicle here. They fixed my clusters and replaced the backing with a different color! This place altered the look of my Challenger and didn't ask them to do that! Jim Tester should have found the color that was in there and put it back. He said that's all they have, but he lied! Had car for a week. No calls(as usual, no updates, nothing). As usual I had to call and it just happens(as always)that the part JUST ARRIVED! LOL! Funny how that happens everytime! I'm so tired of seeing that fool Bill Snouffer dressing up like a fool in his commercials, when what he really should focus on is improving the terrible service center they have! By far the WORST service center I have ever been to! Let's see if this reaches you're reviews that people can read. I bet it won't!

Granted we had poor credit so they did get us an approval.....BUT...they gave us the bottom of the line car, nothing free, never told us there was no CD player, sorry I'm old I need one, I've called & complaindbto everyone no one returned my call, they lie!!! The owner said or left a message on our voice mail how happy he was we bought a car from them...blah blah blah & to call him any time with any questions or concerns...well I've called him several times he always pushed me off to someone else. I was asked by a friend would I recommend Franklin Sussex I said...NO WAY!!! And social media is the way to spread bad news!!! And I belong to so many groups!!!

My son and I went into the dealership and was inquiring about a challenger and they gentleman looked at us like we had three heads. He was so rude and was no help. This past Monday I was at the State Fair and I stopped by the FSAM booth to look at the Jeep Renegade that I'm interested in. I was the only one there, and the gentleman working the tent did not even acknowledge me. I will NOT go back for a third snub from this dealership. The lost out on two sales. Let me start by saying I have never bought or owned a Chrysler product, I am a GM guy through and through. But... GM has left a bad taste in my mouth for several years so I figured it was time for a change... So after seeing the countless commercials on TV I drove right past Warwick Dodge and went to Franklin Sussex Auto Mall. While browsing in the parking lot and being ignored a few times, Sheena, asked me if I needed any help. She is the ONLY good thing about this dealership. She worked very hard to satisfy a guy who is hard to please. I went looking for a truck but with my average credit score it was unaffordable. She told me about the 200, which I thought was a lesser car. Boy was she right, I drove a BEAUTIFUL 200c AWD and was thoroughly impressed. So we started to deal... We came to a verbal agreement, I was told to clean out my car and they would be prepping my new car. Then I had to run an errand, about five minutes after leaving I received a call from Mike who said that I was approved but needed to pay $80.00 dollars more a month! I said no way... I feel like i was baited and switched... Sheena has not given up and has tried to make a deal to no avail. I feel this dealers advertising is deceptive, their one ad on TV said they were offering up to $2000.00 more on your trade in then any dealership. They have offered me $2000.00 less then the Chevy dealership and even though it was pointed out to Mike he said that he had given me every rebate he could to make up for it like he was doing me a favor, but aren't the rebates due to me anyway? They have continually asked me for more money without making any other offers on my vehicle. Also, I received an automated call from Kevin H. yesterday with a "direct" number to call him with any problems. I called back immediately and was put right to voicemail and to a full mailbox where I couldn't leave a message. So I went to the website and left a message about this same issue and asked for Kevin to call me. To this minute Kevin has not called me, and I know he got the message because magically his voicemail is open now but only rings. Shady? I was hoping to find a dealership that I could lease cars from until at least I retire in 13 years... So for just a couple thousand dollars they lost a potential 4-5 car leases just from me over the years, doesn't sound like forward thinking to me... Can anyone recommend a good dealership?

Unhappy with local dealerships, I took my 2014 Jeep Wrangler to Sussex in search of better service. Joe from the service department was able to arrange an appointment within a few days and take a look at it. Since the noise coming from under the hood was intermittent they had the patience to let it run until they heard the noise and diagnose the problem. It was fixed within a day and I was back on the road. Even though it's a bit of a ride for me, I think I may have found my service department. Thanks Joe!

I totaled my suv last wk and was every upset that I was going to have to go threw the hole buying new car routine. My husband contacted Lisa and told her what was going on and what we were looking for. With my past credit history I was nervous about being shot down again. Took my pick-up to be fixed and asked if it was under warranty. Told twice that it was, only to go there and find out it wasn't. Then my husband had problems with his steering. Woman on phone in service department is a moron and couldn't tell him ANYTHING, so he asked for the service manager and couldn't get him either. Then the woman told him they couldn't fit him in for a week. We went to Milford Chrysler and they took him in right away and thank god they did because he was about to lose his steering because something broke and he could have had an accident. I will NEVER use this dealership again and will now deal with Milford Chrysler who gave us wonderful customer service.

had a recall for possible explosion of gas tank on my Jeep Chrysler's remedy is to install new tow hitch om dropped my Jeep off to get it done overnight they never did the repair instead wrote on the recall notice that my frame was severely rotted in my vehicle was unsafe the frame is not rotted it's Chrysler's way of getting around paying for their mistakes

Sam the salesman was great. The rest of the cast of characters there from finance to management are sneaky, degrading liars. Change prices,numbers and feed you a line not to go elsewhere because it will red flag there loan and we will forfeit the loan. The manager was so degrading to my wife calling her sweetheart and baby...and then yelling at her for not parking the car in the right spot. Good thing we have connections to thousands of people through our careers right in their back yard who will be more than happy to hear this and go elsewhere. Thus campaign is just beginning. Went in to sell my 2009 dodge 1500 big horn edition. 82,000 Miles. Truck is in good shape. With a leveling kit and custom flow master exhaust. Had title in hand, they offered me 13,500. What a LOW BALL offer. I even leased my previous truck from them. So I went to another local dodge dealer and they offered me 16,800 plus a $100 gas card. If your going to sell your vehicle, don't go to Franklin sussex dodge. They are low ballers. To boot I'm the only owner and still have the lifetime warranty which was only offered in 2009. So much for that.

An update. Just three weeks has passed after trading in my 2011 Jeep Wrangler and buying a Jeep a Grand Cherokee Limited. Low and behold a postcard from Franklin Sussex arrives in the mail with an offer to give me up to 120 percent of the blue book value ethic the state, is currently over 20K. I feel let down, poorly advised and taken advantage of. They gave me 18K for the trade of which was in great condition and low mileage with out a scratch. So , I placed a call to Claude the manager and he said basically too late now you signed a contract. He turned down any type of good will negotiations. I do love the friendliness if the dealership , but found out the hard way , to do my due diligence beforehand. So, buyer beware, don 'to trust a friendly face.

I recently bought a Dodge Avenger from this dealership and I have to say, not only was it the quickest car buying experience I've ever had, but my salesman was the most accomodating salesman I've ever encountered. Normally I feel like a fish in a shark tank when I go to car dealerships but Billy gave me plenty of options based on my preference, his honest opinion, and I didn't feel pressured into making a decision. I needed to renew the lease on my car. Lisa tried to help me to negotiate with the bank. Even though we were unsuccessuf, Lisa was able to get me another least with a brand new car which was well within my budget. Her knowledge of all the cars was excellent and she knew which car was best for me to suit my needs and my budget. My father is retiree from Chrystler and started with working for American Motors so I come from from a jeep family. It is good to know that Chrysler has salespeople like Lisa working on their behalf who has the love and passion about the cars. I am very happy about my experience with Lisa and I will recommend her the anybody who wants to buy a car from FSA.

I was looking for a new Dodge Durango R/T, Franklin Sussex Auto Mall had the exact one I wanted in stock. So I went onto Truecar.com to get a price quote and minutes later was contacted by Melissa McCabe. We set up a time to test drive the car and when I arrived I met with Melissa. She took me over to get signed in and told me a sales person would be over in a few minutes.Lisa Drake met me a few minutes later, introduced herself and asked if I would like a cup of coffee. She went and got a dealer plate so we could take a test drive and answered all of my questions in a courteous and professional manner. After the test drive Lisa worked to get me a good price for both the new car and my trade-in.John (sorry John I didn't catch your last name in all the excitement) got me a decent interest rate considering the fact that I have poor credit due to some outstanding medical bills and also negotiated a good price on the Chrysler Maximum Care Lifetime Warranty I wanted.They washed and detailed my new Durango and also filled the tank with gas, which was very nice considering the fact that it has a tank that holds almost 25 gallons of gas!I should also note that this dealership is not local for me, it's about 45 minutes from my home, but the trip was well worth it.Thanks to everyone at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall, it's great to be a part of the family!

I was very pleased with my experience at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall. Jason O'Hara gave me a fair price on my 2008 Jeep Patriot and set me up with my salesman, Jason Concoy. Jason located a 2014 Jeep Patriot for me to test drive and it was the car for me. Jason O'Hara and Jason Concoy both walked me through the process of purchasing my car. I did not feel rushed or pressured at any time. They were able to answer my many questions and send me on my way with my new car in a few hours. Mike Bostelman was very thorough in the final stage of my purchase, (the signing and reviewing of all those papers). Not my favorite part of the process but Mike did a great job getting me through it. The employees at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall have always been the best. You might say I am EXTREMELY pleased.....this was the 6th Jeep I purchased at Franklin Sussex. Emloyees have changed over the years but they are always replaced with another great crew. I just made my third purchase from Lisa Drake and Franklin Sussex Auto Mall. I keep returning to them (and this dealer is 76 miles from my home) because the dealership is low pressure and they actually listen to you needs and find something that works with what you request. There are no gimmick's or high pressure sales tatics here. Just honest friendly people who know how to treat a customer and get the job done. I have pruchased many cars over the years and this has been the best dealership I've been to. Lisa Drake is perhaps the most knowledgeable and kind sales person I've ever met, and she makes things happen. After pricing out a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited on www.jeep.com an exact match came up at Franklin Sussex Jeep. I have been a long time customer of another area Jeep dealer and always leery about walking into another dealership as I have no patience / refuse to deal with some of the dog & pony shows some dealers / salesman hit you with when you walk in the door...I usually head straight to the exit! Upon our arrival we were greeted by Robert Hladik who offered to help us; I showed him the printout of the window sticker from jeep.com of the Cherokee we were interested in. It was located at another lot and someone offered to go get it right away...within minutes the Cherokee was ready for us to test drive. Told them we were part of the Chrysler Affiliate Rewards program, which they said they would honor on the Cherokee. I asked them to appraise our car and have numbers for us when we got back. I was pleasantly surprised to come back and have Rich Pasiut and Robert armed with printouts of an appraisal on our trade-in along with 3 scenarios should we choose to finance the car. I wanted to go home to think about it and also do some further research on our trade...there was absolutely no pressure from Rich or Robert to make the deal on the spot. After a few phone calls with Robert during the week, we were now just $175 apart on our trade...we went back up, agreed to split the difference and bought the Cherokee we wanted. Within 30 minutes we had the deal and all of the finance paperwork wrapped up. We picked up the Jeep a few days later; only minor complaint is we said we would pick it up between 2pm -2:30pm...it was still being prepped and was not brought out until around 3:15pm. Certainly not the end of the world, but when you have a small child it can seem like an eternity. They spent a good chunk of time going over the Cherokee's features and setting up my wife's phone. Overall this was without a doubt one of the best / hassle-free car buying experiences I have ever had! I highly recommend FSJ!

By far the best buying experience I've hadever! From my initial discussion with Brian I was impressed with the level of professionalism. I was not pressed to buy but treated with respect. When I went in, I asked to speak with Claude the GM and rather than keep me waiting he dropped whatever he was doing and met with me immediately. I had a price in hand and they beat it! I have a 2011 Dodge Journey, Sound stopped coming out of the radio. i did some research and found this to be an issue with dodge and there was a TSB (technical service bulletin) issued to re-flash the amplifier because the amplifier stops communicating with the bus (software freezing up). I spoke to service and asked if there was a charge since there was a TSB and my vehicle was out of the 36,000 warranty. I was advised there was no charge. When the car was brought in, Service claimed there was no TSB. I emphasized there was. Later they said they found the TSB but it didn't apply to my car and that re-flashing would not correct my problem. My problem was there was no power coming from the amplifier. They advised me it would be $180 to find out what was wrong with it (about 2 hours work). I asked if it cant be fixed then what. Service advised a new radio/amplifier would be in excess of $500. I left and took my vehicle to a professional audio dealer. In less than 30 minutes the radio was working perfectly. They advised me the Amplifier froze up and had to be re-booted. Total cost was $30. I later looked up the TSB to see compatibility to my vehicle. My vehicle matches what the requirements were from the TSB. Everything Service told me were lies. They should be ashamed of themselves for the rip off attempt on me. I wasn't going to leave a review for the world to see but when I replied to their questionnaire about my resent service and I got back nothing, Not even an "I'm sorry" I feel I should warn others to be careful when dealing with them. Do your homework before walking in there. As for me and my entire family, They lost a lot of business. We will never step foot in there again!!!

This had to be the best experience I have ever had buying a car. It was well worth the hour drive. Jason was great looking over and working out a deal with me over the phone before I even got to the dealership. Once I was there he introduced me to Lisa to finalize the transaction. She was GREAT! She went over all the details of the car I was interested in, took me on a test drive and completed the transaction in less then 2 hours. To me that was priceless. With two kids at home I needed to be in and out as quickly as possible. All done with a contstant smile. Will definitely be going back to them when my lease is up!

My wife and I had a new avenger we never thought we could get rid of and get our mini van we needed for our expanding family. I contacted lisa on Facebook and it was a promising outlook. We drove to see lisa and what she could do for my family. Arrived at the dealership and met up with lisa and told her what we wanted to get into and lower our payments then what we had. She is a personable sales lady my daughter found her to be a great friend and lisa made her happy and my daughter doesn't take well to strangers but she loved hanging around lisa. Lisa Cheevers met my wishes and beyond she allowed us to take the van for a test drive and made sure it was for us and as we talked about it the more I loved the van. With me being in the military I know my family is safe and good to go in the van. Meting an active service member I appreciate all she has done for me and my family. After many purchases and issues from this dealership, I swore I would NEVER purchase from here again, But i did, in July I purchased a 2009 Jeep Liberty with many problems and promises that were NEVER fulfilled............. I am very happy to say, that when i went in for Service on the Liberty on Saturday, November 23rd, I wanted to speak with the person in charge. Claude. He was NOT aware of all the issues and wanted to make it all right. He suggested a switch. Never knew that was an option. My Jeep Wrangler as been coming in for Service and Maintenance since I purchased it. I have to say, Jim and the rest of the Service Department Staff have always done great work and been friendly and a pleasure to deal with. When I've had question for Jim or any of the service staff including mechanics my answers always came with a smile, I never saw that "Oh know he is going to ask me a question" look. When it comes to doing one of these ratings. I only ever do them when I feel outstanding or horrible work or service has been done. This is a case of outstanding,wish I could do more of these type but it seems to be rare today. 5 Stars

From setting up the service with Pam to the final closure with Michael was pleasurable. Service can be a pain, but when I can sit down and do my work on the computer, while waiting and know the vehicle will be taken care of and done right the first time, that is precious. I use the Chrysler coupons which makes my service affordable. Michael is thorough and lets you know how your car is doing and provides the necessary future recommendations. We have had 4 jeep products since 2007 .This has been the only dealership that I have trusted for regular service of my vehicles. Unfortunately my 2011 Jeep Liberty had a major Transmission problem. They took great care to let me know what the problem was and kept in touch with me during the repair process .Luckily the repairs where covered under the warranty. Which is one reason I decided to purchase a jeep product at this dealership.I am and have been very happy with the personal and professional care I have received. Mike and Jack are the best !

Spoke with Jim over the phone. I gave him the overall picture of my trade in and the model of vehicle I wanted. We scheduled an appointment, I test drove two different models, and was never pressured into making a decision right away. Came back with my wife the next day, drove both vehicles again and walked out with our new Jeep. My wife who has an Acura MDX, was so impressed with Jim and the people at Franklin Sussex, made an appointment to see what they could for her to get a 2014 Jeep. Best experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle.

Contacted the dealership regarding a convertible I'd seen on the dealership website. Spoke with Billy Dugan, was given a test drive. Billy was very informative, answered all of my questions. Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful. Billy and the staff went so far as to being able to help me with title to my trade in which was in my deceased husband's name. They contacted the Surrogate's Court, got the paperwork I needed, then faxed it back to the court for me.The entire experience lasted approximately 3-1/2 hours. I had my radio replaced several weeks ago for problems with the cd player while still on my complimentry sirius radio trial period. when the contract came due, I decided to renew and sent in a check along with the form. However, when the trila ran out so did my ability to recieve satellite radio. apparently there was a mixup when the radio was changed. I walked in without an appointment and mike put his lunch asside to help me. After an hour on the phone with sirius and in and out of my car he found and corrected a problem with mismatched radio and contract id numbers. My radio now works fine and I am a happy camper.

August 30, 2013 Up until today I would have thought Milford Chrysler was maybe a little bit above average with their service department however America, that has changed. Last night after our grandson's practice my driver's side passenger window decided it was going to stay down. With heavy rains moving in for the entire weekend I shot off an email to Milford, where I purchased the vehicle, figuring they would stop at nothing to at least get the vehicle in if not to fix it to at least try to get the window back up ~ YEAH RIGHT! So I've been calling dealers like a crazy person and just wanted America to know that although ALL Jeep dealers in the area were in fact booked ONE stood out as my (and hopefully yours in the future) knight in shining armor and cared enough about me and the vehicle. Franklin Sussex is squeezing the Jeep in to, if not solve the problem at least try and get the window back up. That being said hey Milford Chrysler's Casey (not sure of the way you spell it, forgive me) when you call to leave those messages asking about your service, whoops FYI they'll be no need to anymore because you've lost me and hopefully all the others who read this to the dealer who really stood out and cared enough about me and the damage that could have been done to the vehicle. Shame on you guys it's not like I was begging for something as simple as an oil change do you really think other customers would have minded waiting a few extra minutes for something this serious? P.S. I stopped by Milford Chrysler on my way home to return their plastic coated logo plate as it now bears one from the dealership who made time to look at my Jeep, Franklin Sussex and how nice that, while talking normally with one of the managers outside trying to explain how I felt I'm approached by another employee clearing needing to brush up on his customer service skills as he tried to insult, ridicule, and try to make this all about me being the kind of customer who "couldn't wait". Yep America it's clearly true that I have made the right decision kicking this dealer to the curb.

We have purchased 4 vehicles from this dealership. Each time, our salesperson was Lisa drake. From the time of our first inquiry to the time we drove away, Lisa did everything she could to make it happen. She understood from the beginning that we were turned off by high-pressure salespeople. She accepted that fact and "pointed us" to what we might consider as a possible option. She did everything she could to accommodate our needs and wishes. She helped get the best deal on our trade-ins as well as giving us the best deal on the vehicle we selected.beWe recently purchased a used Toyota. We contacted Lisa and requested to see the vehicle. It was exactly what we were looking for. In a few short days, we drove away in our used Toyota. Lisa handled all the odds and ends and quickly and efficiently. I told her that I was not crazy about the length of time it took to sign all the paperwork. She had me fill out some paperwork ahead of time and asked when I would be coming in. When I came in to sign, she took me directly to the finance office. The finance gentleman was ready for me and I was out the door in no time. That's the kind of service I like. Ask for something, and it is done!About a week or so ago, Lisa contacted my wife that the dealership had taken in a used Ford Ranger. She was aware, through my wife, that I had been looking for years, literally, for a good used Ford Ranger. Lisa and my wife had arranged for the Ranger to be at the dealership the next day and my wife was going to "casually" mention that there was a nice used Ranger on the lot. I showed up the next day with my wife in the late afternoon and was told that someone else had already purchased the vehicle. I was kind of upset since I did not even have a chance to see it. Lisa was unaware of the deal and personally apologized for what happened. Apparently, there was some "miscommunication" between the sales staff. Anyway, another Ranger became available a day or so later and Lisa called my wife immediately to see if we were still interested. We went to the dealership the next day, saw the vehicle, and decided to purchase it. Not only did Lisa help us find another Ranger, she fought hard to make things right. As a result, Co-owner Bill Snoffer made sure that the vehicle was not sold before we got there, gave us a great deal, and showed us that the dealership cared about it's loyal customers. I am and will be a loyal customer to this dealership. Thank you Mr. Snoffer. As for you, Lisa, your commitment to us customers and friends go a long way. Lisa Drake is by far one of the most professional and personable sales woman I have ever dealt with. Over the last few years I have purchased several vehicles and have always gone to her direct. I will not go to any other dealership as long as Lisa is there to help me. Wonderful experience and great place. I often stop in just to say hi to Lisa and the team at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall. They always remember me and ask about my children and my wife. I know it is good business to do these things but I honestly believe they really are interested and enjoy the interaction. This particular purchase was as direct as possible, On Saturday Morning I called Lisa Drake on my way to their service department for an oil change. I spoke with Lisa and explained what I wanted, how much I could spend for a finance, how much I could put down & to call me back if she could work out a deal. Trust me these were not easy terms. Within 30 minutes I received a call with several options. We worked out a few details regarding my wants and needs. A couple hours later I was surprising my wife with my new Dodge Ram 1500 Crew cab. My wife expected me to come home with my old car and new oil, instead I came home with new oil in a new truck. I really did not think Lisa could pull this off, who knew I would be coming home in a new truck. Its Monday now and my wife is speaking to me again, we both love the truck. The Parts and service team has been very helpful with my past vehicles and I expect the same service in the future. I do not typically deal with dealership service but this place has earned my business and my trust. In addition the dealership always has events that they offer food and beverage, I have not only heard but have witnessed them providing food to customers and anybody that stops in, regardless if they are purchasing a vehicle or just stopping in to feed their bellies. I think it is amazing that in a money driven business like selling cars they provide food for people who are going through tough times. Thanks again Lisa and Franklin Sussex Auto Mall!! Michael was wonderful with whom to work. He didn't quit working on my Jeep's problems until they was completely resolved. My Jeep's issues commenced prior to the expiration of the warranty, but were not completely resolved until after its expiration. Michael worked tirelessly with the warranty company and those within the dealership to make sure that I still had warranty coverage since the exact issue was not identified until after the expiration date. Romelia and Lamonte could not have been nicer. Their relaxed attitude made me feel at ease. I was n ot pressured. I had arrived at the dealership unsure of what vehicle I was really interested in. Was in for oil change and to check a front end noise. Service Dept took great care of me. Thanks to Jack and Tom! At first, car noise that I heard was still there. Tom came out with me for a drive and explained what I was hearing was normal noise. These facts put me at ease. Nice to have such personal service - right from the person who works on your car! Thank you FSA for always being dedicated to great serice and custom satisfaction.

While regretting not remembering the specific individuals I encountered on the day I serviced my Dodge Ram, I can speak with complete sincerity that everyone I encountered that day was exceptionally pleasant. From my first encounter with the service counter staff and his associates, to their manager who personally walked me through the mechanics of updating my key fob to the young woman who was situated in the show room that took my email address to the the sales staff that walked past me and exchanged pleasantries to the woman who took my payment at the cash register - it was as mentioned before, an exceptional experience. In essence, both the quality of service and the professionalism and courtesy in the way that the service was carried out (even the explanation of additionl service requirements) proved that Franklin-Sussex maintains a holistic approach in the assurance that their customers are happy. I purchased my Dodge at this facility and there were certain issues with the purchase that I was less than happy with but even then, the staff at Franklin-Sussex worked to "Make me whole" so to speak and that approach not only secured my eventual satisfaction, but kept me loyal. There are closer Dodge dealerships that I could go to but, I choose Franklin-Sussex. As for recommending this place - absolutely. The people there are like you and me... they have a job to do and they want to make their workplace a happy place to work in. Go in with a smile!

We brought the dodge sprinter inJan.3rd, because it won't start in 28' weather.11 days later,we get the sprinter back,& $1032.later.Sprinter still will not start in cold weather.When we'd call they wouldn't answer the phone & if they did,they said they had to talk to the tech to see whats going on,& sometimes they'd call back 7 hours later or not at all.They insisted it needed a new fuel filter,which we just change a week before,then they said it needed more diesil in it,then they said we needed 6 new brakes,how that affected the sprinter starting?! I haven't a clue.Sprinter gets home Jan.14th evening,bearly starts Jan.15th.Jan.16th 26' sprinter will not start 3 failed attemps,tryed jumping it,battery worked still wouldn't start.Jan.7th put a space heater under sprinter overnight,started up at 28'. Sprinter has not started since.We put a brand new battery in it,Jan.23rd,still won't start. So for $1032.,we got our sprinter back with the problem unsolved & they in my opinion are very unrealiable,lack of communication.I called Roger Jan.17th,to tell him everything,his reply was bring it in we need to try having it outside.Duh! They already new it wouldn't start in cold weather.And how can we bring it in if it doesn't start.

The sales process was shady. I negotiated a deal and when I got to the F & I process, there was a "hidden" balloon payment of $6,000 written in to the deal. It was very obviously a $6,000 uptick in the price, otherwise the F & I guy would have been able to delete it without impacting anything. The problem was supposedly that the $6,000 appeared on a "back-screen" and the sales manager was obviously hoping that I would not look closely before I signed. I told the F & I guy that this meant they were actually charging me an additional $6,000 for the car, and he had the audacity to say " OH NO...it's just in the way you pay it back". Are you (expletive) kidding me? Do you really expect me to buy that load of (expletive)?At one point in the process, he actually said...your contract is going to look a little different because we're trying to show you had a down payment. And used a phrase, "We're robbing Peter to pay Paul".I should have left at the very beginning when the saleswoman came back with the opening offer showing a payment amount for both vehicles I was interested in. I looked up and said, "where is the purchase price?", which of course, caused her to go back to the sales manager bull-pen and get the numbers. This is almost comical. She comes back with purchase price, less a $500 discount, and a deduction for the trade-in value of my car. So it appears that I'm paying $18,000 for a $33,000 car. What she didn't do is add the $19,000 loan payoff, which made the number closer to $37,000. I brought out my own calculator to do that, which then had her looking worried and picking at her fingernails. All I can say to Franklin Sussex Auto Mall, is SHAME ON YOU! You apparently don't give people credit for having intelligence, and you will do anything to sell a car while babbling on incessantly about your children's softball records and attempting to establish some type of phony rapport as a distraction. The management and staff are obviously trained to operate with absolutely no transparency or integrity, and I am grateful that I didn't succumb to your unethical practices. Needless to say - I won't be stepping foot into your dealership again.

I purchased a car from Franklin Sussex on Ebay and then became a little concerned after reading several negative reviews. Luckily, my experience with them was the exact opposite. Dominic was really personable and conscientious. The car seems to run great and the price was excellent. He gave me a car fax with all of the service records on it and even filled up the tank before I drove it off the lot. I would definitely buy another car from these people. The only drawback of this place is that it is in the middle of nowhere.

Corrupt sales dept...do not go to this dealership unless you WANT to be ripped off. Especially steer clear of sales person Nina Lusic who is RUDE and WILL RAKE YOU OVER THE COALS. If she returns your calls, it's because she is making money on you. If she doesn't return your calls, it's because there is no money to be made on you. They will do anything to rip you off. If you do buy here, insist on combing through the financing and make sure you understand how the numbers are crunching before signing anything. They do some very creative financing here. You won't even know you're being ripped off (trade ins, sales tax, warranties, services, etc). But my advice is...go elsewhere. Scam Artists at their best! Oh and beware of possible fraudulent(positive)reviews for this dealership because I wouldn't put it past these crooks to have 'friends' submit good reviews.

Complete scam artists. Don't ever do business with this dealership. $3000 of warranties I did not ask for and add'l fees which were not disclosed were added to the final sale. The only way to get money back was to agree to a trade-in and they were very careful to make themselves whole (direct quote from Finance person) and charge me more than I would have paid if I had purchased the second car outright.While negotiating for a new car, the used car they sold me broke down 9 days after it was purchased on the side of the highway and had to be towed to the nearest Dodge dealer. The car sat on that lot from Sat - Tues (no one remembered to call on Monday to get the work started) and the repair order showed that it should have failed to meet the Certification requirements (entire front end needed to be replaced).And they refused to pay the total amount of the loaner car fee and stuck me with a $200 bill. Enterprise rentals repeatedly called the dealership to be reimbursed and they could not get a call back so they asked me to intervene.Owner failed to return any telephone calls to discuss. Finance people were rude and insulting. Said I went "nutso" on the phone and that they hoped the second car "stuck" (direct quotes).And the salesperson faxed the sales order to my credit union with no vin number which held up the financing. When the vin number was provided it turned out to be a different car than the one they were getting for me. Worst experience I've had at any dealership. An absolute nightmare. After the amount of time, frustration and headaches they should have given me the car.Highly endorse Lynn's Nissan in Byram. Wish I had gone back to them. Professional, trustworthy and courtesy. Repair shop is tops.

I had a horrible experience with this dealership. They were very nice before I bought the car, and pushed me to take it off the lot that day, so I did, but that's when the problems began. They gave me bad information about my car's insurance status, which I had to rectify on my own, dropped the ball several times on getting my keyless entry installed (in fact, when I went one time, the man behind the service counter snapped at me, and my salesman lied to me about what days the service desk could schedule it), and perhaps most egregiously, they dragged their feet on getting me my license plates. The woman who handles DMV information is either incompetent or deliberately negligent; my temporary plate was about to expire and I hadn't received my real plates yet. It took calling the state DMV (several weeks after giving her the necessary info) to find out that FS Automall had NOT sent them my information at all. The dealership sat on it for weeks with no action; meanwhile, I couldn't drive my car after the temp expired. My salesman gave me a lot of pretend concern but never returned my calls (on any issue at all) and never helped move things in the right direction. He did not care at all, and it showed. Nobody else we called at the dealership returned my calls, either. I had to have a lawyer call the general manager on my behalf before they got me my plates, almost a month after I bought the car. They were paid to handle it in a prompt manner and kept feeding me lies about taking care of it, but it wasn't until the lawyer got involved that they acted (I got my plates the day after that phone call from the lawyer, meaning they could have done it quickly, but they just didn't feel like it).I love my car; I wish I hadn't needed to buy it from them. They treated me with utter disrespect. Avoid this dealership like the plague.

Prior to deal, very pushy. They were doing paperwork before we even agreed to deal. Bought Jeep liberty 2006. 46k miles after 1st week, radio did not work and light in console did not work. stated they will replace radio and fixed light in console. week later back windows stopped working. radio replaced, fixed windows. month went by, windows stopped working again. Right side of speakers do not work. replace all new guts of windows. found out after a recent oil change, drive shaft seal is leaking and front strut is no good. dealer said they would get us into another vehicle. Would not give me back down payment on original purchase. Long story short, all they care about is sale which I'm sure most dealerships are. My problems would get fixed then something else happened because of that fix. sadly i still have the vehicle. Buyer beware.

Amazing people! The whole sales team is down right friendly! I went in for their February special on the last day which included double my car's trade in value plus a flat screen tv. For a 7 year old Forester with electrical problems and over 100k miles I got $6,000 for the trade and left $1,000 in cash. I bought a used Jeep Patriot with a credit score in the low 500s due to credit cards and they got me approved at a 7% interest rate and I had never had any type of loan at before. They worked hard to get me this deal, let me test drive several cars by myself, and when the original car I wanted with a sunroof was sold before I arrived, they gave me the exact same model without a sunroof but gave me a voucher to get it installed by them for free! The car was 1 year old when I bought it with 10k miles and I barely had to haggle for the price I wanted to pay! Not pushy at all, and while they were waiting for my credit to be approved by someone they let me entertain myself by test driving other cars! Great place!
