I was originally referred to Fredericktown Chevrolet about two years ago by a friend who has bought several vehicles from the lot over the years. Today, I'm buying my second car from Fredy Chevy! This experience was more than excellent. Salesman Jim Jarvis isn't your average car salesman. Jim won't sell you a car that you don't want or try to persuade you in making a decision immediately. I can say by far, this is the best car buying experience I've ever experience. I did not feel pressured. I did not feel obligated. I did not feel like 'just a number'. I felt as if Fredy Chevy and Jim Jarvis personally took care of me as a friend or family. If you're in the market for a new car, definitely check this place out!

My first time dealing with Fredericktown Chevrolet and it wont be my last! Searching vehicles on line and there website was very nice and informative,so i dont usually do this but gave them a call. They asked what time i would like to come in to talk and had no problem with my busy schedule.Met up with Ryan Mertz and took a test drive. Ryan really new everything about the vehicle and showed interest that i knew it as well. Needless to say i bought my truck. They gave me a reasonable amount for my trade in which was surprising to me. After all the paper work was signed Ryan went out with me to set up my free trial with On-Star and Sirus radio,something he didnt have to do but took that extra step to make it an unstressfull experience. I would recommend Ryan and the whole staff to anyone buying a new or used vehicle.

They have really great cars at affordable prices. They did the best they could for me to get my car payments down to a more than reasonable price and interest rate on the car. Had a comfortable experience with Jim Jarvis, salesman, buying a new 2015 Impala. I saw the car and called Jim, he had is washed and clean when I got to my appointment. We test drove, he showed me how to operate all the options, we went inside and worked out a deal and I bought the car. He was very knowledgeable, and efficient about his work, we closce the deal and he followed me home with my old car. I would reccommend dealing with Jim Jarvis to anyone who wants an honest, fair, deal and a great experience in buying a new car.

Just purchased a "15 Traverse from Mike. Just the most recent purchase with Mike as he and I have dickered over cars for five years or more, he sells cars and I feel like I have been treated fairly by Mike and the FREDY TEAM. We just stopped in for a test drive and ended up purchasing our HHR. We are loving it, it is early on but it was a great buy and hopefully worry free with all the extra's in the extended warranty that Robin Potts got for us (thanks Robin). This is the first new vehicle we have purchased in over 25 years. We had done a lot of research and had decided to give a local dealership our business. It was a smart decision! We are a 40 year old couple so we have alot of car buying experience under our belts,that being said..Worst car buying experience of our lives! We spent 6 hours at the dealership mostly listening to our salesman tell us his life story. We were told we could take the car home that night,so we quickly cleaned out our trade in outside in the freezing cold only to end up leaving because we waited on the financial department for over 2 hours. We came back the next day after our salesman Kevin Cross made us an appointment with the financial dept. only to again wait over an hour before we told him we were ready to leave. At that point we made it to the financial department. We were very open with Kevin and the financial dept. about our frustration and nothing was done to try to make up for this awful experience. At one point there was a miscomunication about how large of a downpayment we were making and that caused even more of a delay. We recieved an appology from Kevin and the financial associate but one would think if a customer has been through such an ordeal and still buys a car from you, Fredericktown Chevrolet would offer us atleast a free oil change? We will NEVER buy a car from Fredericktown Chevrolet again and I suggest you don't either. One last thing I had trouble getting the link for writing this review so I called Fredericktown Chevrolet, big surprise- I was transfered to 2 people before being told the only woman that can help me is in a meeting!! Thank goodness it finally worked because a half and hour later I am still waiting on that return call.This is a poorly run dealership, I will definitely tell everyone I know to never buy a car there!

We were shopping for a CPO Chevy Equinox and found one on the lot we liked. Contacted the internet department and set up an appointment with Kevin. Going in, we explained that our financing was already set and we just needed an out the door price, which became a struggle for Kevin to grasp. Kevin was reluctant to negotiate to a fair price at the beginning and after having to walk away at first, we were able to settle on an amicable price over the phone. When we returned to purchase the vehicle, we spent around two hours waiting on paperwork and checklists to be completed. All in all, we got a good deal without a ton of hassle--just had to threaten to walk out on a sale to get a great price. Otherwise very modern and clean facility with friendly staff. I would consider them for my next vehicle purchase.

This dealership was top notch and well worth my 100+ mile drive. I would have liked to have bought locally but was not able to get the deal I wanted. Amber Cooper kept me informed on vehicles in my price range and I got a great deal on a 2014 Chevy Cruze that drives like a dream. Seth Poland provided a seamless purchase and patiently taught me how to use all of the modern communication features including synching my phone for handless talking. Robin Potts also did her research on the loan and made sure I got the best interest rate and a loan with no penalty for early lay off. I never felt pressured or like I was being pushed to buy upgrades or extras which I appreciate. After talking to dealers in two states I am glad I settled on Fredericktown Chevrolet who were professional and courteous and delivered an exceptional buying experience. I highly recommend them even if you have to travel. Their prices were much lower than most dealers I consulted.

After shopping at another dealer who was overly dishonest and pushy with us, we found Jim Jarvis at Fredricktown Chevy. The entire staff was friendly and straight up with us. My husband and I are freaks when it comes to research and we found everything that this dealership told us to be true. We know when we're being lied to, and this dealership didn't even attempt it. We knew exactly what vehicle we wanted to look at and what financing we'd be able to qualify for. This staff set the vehicle aside with a sign so that no one else could look at it. The financing process took longer than expected, but they still marked this vehicle as sold to ensure no one "bought it from under us" as another dealership claimed happen to another vehicle. Jim, Mary, Amber and everyone there did an amazing job. The service department fixed a warranty issue for us quickly and allowed us to fully inspect the vehicle before while on a lift. The cleaned that vehicle for us every time we had stopped by. This dealership is flat out the best I've dealt with, bending over backwards for it's customers. When we stopped in to pick it up, they were so busy! I've NEVER seen a dealership so busy before, but I didn't find a single unhappy customer. Thank you, Jim and everyone there, for all of your help. We will be back soon as we have 2 more vehicles to buy shortly.

Their communication was excellent, the negotiation process was simple, and the purchase process relatively quick and painless. it was a good overall experience. The only negative thing is they use the same line with the people I spoke to.. They say "would you be happy" at a certain price and have you sign that price and then they go away and come back adding more to the price that you signed in hopes to negotiate you into paying more. I know this by speaking with other people that have bought cars from Fredericktown that had the same experience as I did blow by blow. I now feel that I paid more than I wanted to because of this selling ploy. I should have said no to the increase.

After much looking on the internet and comparing all years, brands, sizes, and prices. I was very surprised and happy to find the best deal within 5 miles of my home. We were in the market for a nice used SUV and found a beutiful 08 Chevy trailblazer at freddychevy. Mike F. Was our sales person and was great to work with. he was friendly,helpful, and easy to talk to. We bought the trailblazer that day and took it home The very next day had check engine light come on with multiple trouble codes. Immediately my heart sank I knew I bought it used with only a short drive train warranty and the dealer didn't have to do a thing it was my baby now lol I went ahead and took it back and talked to them about my problem and was impressed with their willingness to help they turned me over to ken parker the servivice advisor which was a great guy to work with also very knowledgeable. They made it possible for me to afford the the repairs ! Glad to see they are still good people out there. Thanks to all that helped at Freddy Chevy! Highly recommend this dealership.

First of all, I gotta say...."WOOT WOOT".....my experience started w/ making an "Out of the Blue" phone call on a Saturday afternoon (after I used your wonderful website), to the dealership where I had the pleasure of speaking to Nikki Walsh and then using your one on one chat emailing I had the pleasure of speaking to Amber Cooper on Sunday. These girls were just wonderful. They answered my questions and were very kind, patient and knowledgeable of the vehicle I was inquiring about. So of course now after the phone call and email chat this led me into SERIOUS motivation to make an appointment for Monday where I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jim Jarvis,(yes, I said Mr., lolol) Jim is down to earth and a real person, not someone looking to make a quick sale. He listened to what MY wants and needs were, not what HE wanted for me. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to force a sale onto me at all and wasn't out to make the mighty dollar. I was very hesitant and nervous about the whole process considering it had been 10 years since I bought a newer vehicle and so much has changed w/ these cars. Nonetheless, Jim and his team made it all come true. Once the paperwork was completed and I was able to breathe again I got to meet the extended team behind the scenes of the service department. I hope to build a great foundation and reliance on these guys and remember all their names, lolol. In the past I dealt w/ another great small town dealership and they treated me like a genuine person. I feel this will also occur at FredyChevy. Working w/ Jim and the team was just "down home and comforting" in this day and age that is rare to find anymore. I can promise to Jim and all the staff at FredyChevy I will always recommend you folks and the great down to earth treatment I received during my recent purchase. We went to Fredericktown Chevrolet to look at a truck they had advertised online. Upon arrival we looked a couple different trucks. Our trade was broke down and they offered to have it towed there and if we couldnt come to a deal they would tow it home for us if we decided to not have it fixed there. We went home and came back the next day and purchased one of the trucks we looked at, we didnt bother with trade but since they were even willing to help with it we knew we were at the right place. We dealt with Hugh the whole time there and he made the buying experience one we wont forget, he was always laughing and smiling and made us feel at ease. We will definitely tell everyone that Fredericktown Chevrolet is the place to go.

I had a warranty repair on my truck a year ago that I felt they went above and beyond to take care of me. I don't live in the immediate area so I'm not a regular. When I was in the market for another truck I felt obligated to give them a look. I bought a truck from them and the process was quick and easy. 5 miles into the trip home the engine light came on, the next day I noticed the engine running rough when cold and the fuel guage was erratic. A phone call the next day was received rather coolly about checking it out. I had bought the truck "as is" so I let it slide. Since found out the rough running is a common problem and goes away as the engine warms and is where the engine light comes from (O2 sensor). They had advance notice of me coming to test drive it and so had it warmed up and waiting for me. No rough running. This is a $400 dollar fix. The fuel gauge is a separate issue and may or may not have been discovered by them. Fixing it involves dropping the gas tank. I felt that they could have been a little more interested in seeing what the problem was. I'll take care of it locally. This isn't a slam on them but just a view from this side of the deal.

If you give Freddy Chevy a try, you won't be sorry. I live where there are 3 Chevy dealers that are close or relatively close. I have dealt with them over the years but dealings with them always seemed cold and impersonal. In doing an internet search on Chevy Volt, I learned of Fredericktown Chevrolet and they contacted me with an invitation to come see and drive a Volt. My experience with them was warm, and personal. I bought a Volt from them and love the car. And I appreciate that they follow up on my satisfaction with the deal, and with my visits to the service department. Freddy Chevy is a throwback to the time, quite a few years ago, when a car dealer actually cared about serving their customers. Stay as you are, Freddy Chevy. You are great!

I took the drive from Columbus to Fredericktown Chevrolet and I'm so glad I did! I must say I was pleased to have someone who was not trying to just push me into something. I went to see a particular vehicle and even when it seamed as if I wasn't going to get it, I was never bombarded with other vehicles that was out of my budget. 10 years ago, we purchased our 2003 Malibu at Fredericktown Chevrolet, and, recently purchased our 2013 Malibu there, as well. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else to purchase a new vehicle. The location is convenient for us, the entire staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is just right no matter what the situation. I recently had some repairs done on the older vehicle and was so impressed with everyone in the repair shop taking the time to find the problem and following up with me every step of the way. Let me just say that if you aren't a customer of Fredricktown Chevrolet, you don't know what great customer service really is. I've dealt with many car dealers over the years & purchased my Equinox from them 3 years ago. Most recently I became stranded in Mansfield a little after 5 p.m. The stabilitrac light came on & my vehicle went into reduced engine power. HOME was 25 minutes south & since I'm a female who had no idea what was going on with my vehicle, I called Freddy Chevy. It was after 5:00 so I really wasn't expecting anyone to pick up the phone but Ken answered. From that moment on, I was taken care of. He immediately dispatched a wrecker & I was dropped off at home. First thing the next morning, a very nice loaner was delivered to my door. It ended up that there were a couple of issues with my vehicle so I had the loaner for over a week & Ken called several times keeping me up to date on what was going on. I've had nothing but exceptional service from them no matter why I'm there... from an oil change to a Stabilitrac issue. They put other dealers to shame. Having dealt with them, I'll never go anywhere else.

This was By far the easiest buying experience I have ever had. Everybody was nice and polite. They took my needs seriously. I felt like my needs and concerns were delt with rather than pushed aside like some dealers will do. My salesman, Scott Best, truley cared about me and worked hard to get me the best deal possible. My husband and I purchased our very first brand new car from Fredericktown Chevrolet today. Our salesman Josh was outstanding! He was very pleasant and provided us with excellent customer service. The entire staff we dealt with today were very friendly and showed us they cared about US and not just the purchase we were about to make. I found my experence with Jim and the rest of the staff at fredericktown chevy to be very helpfuland pleasent. All of my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable. Best of all I got a newchevy truck that looks and feels great. I've been back once since I bought the truck and was treatedlike it was my first time there.

My mom bought a car here a few years ago and she had a great experience, so when I was ready to buy my first new car I knew where I wanted to go. They were extremely patient with me when I changed my mind on what car I wanted time after time. They found me deals and gave me example payment amounts and schedules for each one. It was a month or so after first contacting them that I was actually ready to buy a car, and they found the exact car I wanted later that day. I love Fredy Chevy and will go there every time I need to buy a car in the future.

We have purchased 2 Chevrolet trucks from Fredericktown and Mike Fawcett in the past. We went back to purchase a used 2009 Malibu 2LT. The car was in great shape, low miles and very clean. The buying process was stress and hassle free. Mike did a great job getting us the price and payment we were comfortable with. The car had 2 door dings that they fixed before making delivery to us. When the car came back to us, I was amazed how great it looked. Fredericktown staff showed great customer service by giving us a loaner for a few days and brought the car and financing paperwork to our door, due to our crazy schedule. When we buy a new or used GM product in the future, it will be from Fredericktown.

Purchasing a new vehicle from them, I was waited on right away when I got there. I saw the vehicle online and they brought it right down for me to see. They were so helpful in setting up the loan. Two months later, I had to take the vehicle back for warranty work. The service department got me right in and the repairs were made in less time than they told me it would take. Everyone was so nice to deal with. I am very pleased overall with this dealership and would recommend them to a friend.

I went to Frederictown on Saturday to look into buying a new car. They were great in every aspect of buying my new car. Seth gave us great servicea and was very great in answering all of my questions. Once we made the deal they said 2 hours past closing to finish the deal for me.
