Left voicemail with internet sales manager to arrange time to view car. Waited most of day for reply and never got it. Emailed that next week only to get a reply saying he never got a message or notice of voicemail and that the car had been sold. I wasted an entire day that I could have used to look at competitors vehicles. Probably will not do any further business with them.

Purchased a cheap used vehicle from them and wanted to trade in our older vehicle for and almost even trade. Their first offer was pitiful but their second offer, when the knew I wasn't playing around, was exactly what I wanted to see. Therefore, we were very satisfied with the deal we received. After price was negotiated, the rest of the financing took about 15-30 minutes and we were on our way. Only wished they would have gased the car up for us before we left, it had about 23 miles to empty on the tank so we had to stop immediately. Other than that, we were very please with the entire process.

Edida Cruz was very patient, honest, upfront, and helpful in showing me cars in my price range, allowing me to test drive the vehicle I was interested in, and getting me through the negotiation process. I had just come from a bad experience down the road at Clay Cooley Kia, and this was the total opposite. They started with the internet price, took off my trade, and went from there. Refreshing!!! Once we settled on a price, the finance process was really fast. I waited approximately 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon for a representative from this department to see me. Once she did, Stephanie Foreman took all of about fifteen minutes to complete the buying process with no hard sales pitch of an extended warranty. Thanks Freeman Mazda-Hyundai for turning my day around!

Fortunately, all the regular salesman were busy (that should say something alone) on a weekday and I was "stuck" with John Luke. I had dealt with several salesmen at other businesses before him and he's the first in 20 years that I look forward to doing business with again. Completely recommend searching online at Freeman Hyundai so you can deal with this great man.

I went to this dealership expecting to have to be stern and untrusting with the car sales man, and when John Luke told me upfront that he would always be completely honest with me, I didn't believe him. However! He was COMPLETELY honest with me and was beyond helpful. He got me a fantastic deal on the car. Working with him was truly a blessing and I would recommend John Luke to anyone. We will be going back to him for our next car. Everyone there was very nice and professional.

John Luke was an amazing salesman. As soon as I walked in the door he let me know that he had had to jump start the car and he would be having the battery checked out for me. He was down to earth, honest, and worked with integrity. I would definitely recommend this dealership and John Luke to anybody in the metroplex looking for a used vehicle.

I hadn't had a car in over three years, so when I decided to bite the bullet and buy one, I spent countless hours on the internet looking for the right vehicle. I decided on the 2014 Mazda CX-5 I had seen on Cars.com.To nobody's fault but my own, I didn't call to see if it was there before driving to Irving. Lucky for me the internet specialist John Luke came to the rescue with a different CX-5 with half the mileage of the other one and ended up getting a deal for me for not too much more money than I had planned on spending. The entire process was very low pressure. By the time my CX-5 is ready to be traded in for a different vehicle, I have no doubts that Freeman Mazda with be the first place I go.

I know it seems odd when someone rates everything 5 starts but believe me, this dealership deserves it! We located the vehicle we purchased from them on cars.com. Being a sceptic of all dealerships, I immediately did the research on the vehicle before calling them. I asked them questions I already knew the answers to and they answered them truthfully (miles on the car, car fax report findings, etc.). Additionally, when they took the vehicle to make ready to be cleaned, they noticed things that didn't sound right to them. Instead of brushing it off on me as the consumer, they paid to fix everything BEFORE they were comfortable with selling it to us. This meant the world to me since we have a 10 month old baby girl so safety is everything to us. If there was a dealership 1,000 miles away that treated their customers this way, I would make the trip just because of the excellent service! Thank you to our salesperson John Luke and to the whole Freeman Mazda Hyundai family! We love our vehicle!

Good experience buying car I found on the internet. Mr. Luke even sent me a copy of the CarFax and went to check out the car when I needed to know whether someone had ever smoked in it. He even let me use his desk computer to contact my insurance company to get coverage before I drove the car home.

My wife and I recently bought a used car from John Luke at Freeman Mazda. The whole experience was so different from any other car buying experience I have ever had. After being trapped at another dealership for 5 hours, we called ahead to set up a test drive of another car with John. When we arrived, John was friendly and direct with what we were looking for. We decided to not buy that first car, but kept an open mind as John let us wander the used car lot at out leisure and ask him any questions. No hassle, no pressure. A Saab caught our eye and John gave us all the info he had on it. We ended up being there quite late, but John was mindful and considerate and helped us work through everything we needed and we ultimately decided to get the car. As we left, the first thing my wife said was "We will START at Freeman NEXT time we need a car."

I was looking for a used Ford Escape for my daughter. I have not purchased a used car in decades, so I was very apprehensive about the whole process. I went by Freeman Hyundai to check out a low-mileage 2012 Ford Escape and was greeted by John Luke. I was treated with the utmost respect by John, and felt absolutely no pressure to purchase the vehicle. Freeman Hyundai had just received the SUV, and John let me test drive it before it had even been cleaned by the dealership. Later he let me keep it overnight so I could get it checked out by a third party mechanic. After agreeing on a price, we made the deal in short order. John Luke was open and honest with me about the SUV and that made the buying process go much smoother. He is a true credit to the used car industry. I appreciate his honesty, courtesy, and professionalism. I have no regrets doing business with John Luke, or Freeman Hyundai. I recommend them with no reservations.

Spent 5 hours there trying to buy a new Sante Fe. After 2 hrs in sales, with an excellent sales person, and signing off on the price it took over 3 hrs for finance to get to us. This only for them to tell us it was going to be a bit longer. We told them we were done and going to walk on the deal and they didn't even try to stop us. Went to another Hyundai dealership in Arlington, spent 1/2 the time we did at Freeman, got a better deal on a nicer car and left happy. I do not recommend Freeman.

Went to the service department for a routine service. After the tire rotation service one of the tires started making "dub/dub" sound. I took it back to them. They said the reason was tire pressure. Even after that the problem persists. Their driver drove the car on the highway and could not hear the bad tire sound. A regular driver like me can feel it but they just want to ignore the issue. Overall poor service. Never going there again.

Contacted the next day by the Internet sales office. The information provided was useful and the offer to find other solutions to our car selection was generous. Since that initial call I have not been able to visit the dealership and no other calls have been received. I have dealt with Freeman before and find them to be easy to communicate with and attentive to my questions and needs.

Emailed dealership to make appt. to see car. Sales rep called back and was friendly and courteous. Buying process was fairly quick. Offered full trade-in value for my car. Sales rep. tended to exaggerate the features of the car we were interested in but he kept his word on what he promised us. Finance office was slow as molasses. Waited 2 hours to be seen finishing up at 10:00pm.

Emailed the dealer through cars.com and dealer scheduled an appointment next day but when i arrived car was not even ready to show. Dealer attempted to get it ready but later realized that the car has electrical problems. Dealer promised that they will call back when the car is ready but never heard back from them. What a waste of time.

I found my car on Cars.com and emailed the dealership to get some information. I was contacted later that day by Shane Welter with Freeman Hyundai Used Cars. We emailed back and forth a couple of times and I set up an appointment to come out and check out what he had on his lot. In the mean time, I found another Santa Fe at a dealership closer to me so I wanted to check that one out first. I felt bad because I had already made the appointment with Shane, but when I called him to let him know my change of plans, he understood completely and simply told me to let him know if I decided to come out to Freeman.(no pressure at all!!!) As it turns out I didn't like the first car I test drove so i called Shane back and let him know I was on my way. When I got there, Shane was readily available and we went out to take a look at the vehicle I was interested in. The car was clean AND detailed (unlike the other dealership) and before long I was on my test drive. I drove the car on the highway as well as side streets. Shane even directed me to go down this one particular street that was EXTREMELY rough. He said the reason he wanted to take that road was so that I could hear whether or not the car had any rattles. It didn't! The 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe SE that I bought was already priced fairly and they gave me a good deal on my old truck. Needless to so say I am very pleased with the deal I got and with how I was treated at the dealership. I would recommend looking up Shane Welter at Freeman Hyundai if you are in the market for a used car! (the car pulled ever so slightly to the left during the test drive and while I was finishing up the closing paper work he took it to the shop so they could do a 4 wheel alignment. Now that's customer service!)

I can't speak about the sales department but if you have business with the parts or service department I would advise you to take your business elsewhere. Both departments are utterly incompetent. I called the service department to make an appointment in response to a recall notice. I was called back a week later when the part came in as they didn't have it on hand. So I took time off to have the repairs made only to be told after 45 minutes in the waiting area that they were "sorry" they didn't have the right part and that I would have to make another appointment and come back at another time. After a waste of my time and gas, problem solved. Seems I'm a glutton for punishment though. The sun visor on my car broke so I went to the parts department for a replacement. They got the vin number off my car and looked up the part on their computer but still managed to sell me the wrong part and to add insult to injury, refused to return or exchange the new unused part accompanied by the original receipt a few days later. Reason given, "You don't have the plastic bag that it came in" (a bag exactly like a newspaper comes in). So now I'm stuck with a 100 dollar sun visor I can't use because it doesn't fit my car due to their incompetence and unwillingness to correct their mistake. Needless to say, I would not recommend doing any sort of business with this dealership

They take care about customers; they are not just selling cars they sell service. The facilities are not the fanciest but it does not matter, what matter is the quality of the sales people and how they treat customers. This was absolutely the worst experience i have ever had at a car dealership. Rick Westbrook provided me w/decent customer service up until the last few minutes of my visit. His Sales Manager Larry Chase displayed the most appalling customer service i have ever received. Larry approached me with the sole intent of antagonizing and humiliating me. In anwer to your question "have i had a bad experience at a car dealership before?" - not until i met you! You should not be entrusted with a customer service position. How dare you treat a customer with the utter disdain you showed me??!! Customer Service Tip #1: if you feel that a customer is not having an enjoyable experience try a handshake, a smile and 'what can we do to make this a better experience for you?' But DO NOT approach that customer with a swagger, without reaching out for a handshake, and proceed to mock that customer, tell that customer that you do not need their business, and continue to yell at that customer even after she has left the building. As for Rick Westbrook, I had no problem with his customer service until the last few minutes of my visit. Customer Service Tip #2: when the customer you have been working with for the last hour + tells you how horribly she has just been treated by your sales manager, do not turn around and walk away when that Manager sticks his head out the door and calls you. i took the time to thank you for your time even though your manager had upset me tremendously. You could have at least shown me some common courtesy and respect.

I used cars.com to submit bids for a Hyundia Elantra. Freeman came back with a price up front. It was the best price I received so I went to buy it. I told the dealership I had 1 /12 hours to complete the transaction. We where done in under that time. Everyone was friendly and worked fast. I would buy another car from the Freeman dealership.

Bought a car on Monday. Wouldn't start on Sunday. Jumped it and got to work Monday. Called the salesman who said 'sounds like the battery'. Had me drive it in (had to jump it again). After 2 hours of waiting, I was told they didn't have any batteries in stock. Guess he didn't know I was coming in to get a battery I ask him why my car wasn't checked out bf it left the lot "batteries just die sometimes" and "it happens all the time here" I comment on how that statement didnt fill me with confidence for the car I just bought from him. Then I ask why he didn't make sure they had a battery in stock before I came down. He gets angry. He leaves (before my cars back). When the mechanic drives it up, he asks me for a radio code, because the radio doesn't work after you take the battery out. I tell him I just bought the car - from his dealership - so I would think they would have it. They don't.i suppose checking for the radio code for a car that needs it after the battery is changed before you change the battery in the dealership you bought it from makes about as much sense as checking your battery inventory before you have someone drive in to replace their battery. I'm still here, it's been almost 3 hours. To change a battery. Go somewhere else PS. Not one person has so much as offered me a cup of coffee or bottle of water

They are offering a car with a claimed 158,000 miles. The carfax they provide reports 194,000 miles in 2007. Shady business practices are expected with used car dealers, but these people are lazy too
