Fremont Motors Sheridan, and Matt Thums specifically, made my recent car purchase a pleasant experience. Matt was both informed and informative, timely, conscientious, and friendly. I sought an escape from the high pressure, impersonal, and seemingly unscrupulous dealers in my home city. Although my search took me out of state and hundreds of miles distant, my efforts were rewarded with a lower price, honesty, and integrity, I would recommend that any person intending to buy a Ford vehicle in this region at least give the people at Fremont Motors a call first, I do believe that in the unlikely event Fremont Motors cannot out compete another dealer, they will be the first dealer to say so and endorse a competitor, My only regret now ... I'm too far away to have my new Ford serviced at Fremont Motors Sheridan, Mark Laurnen, MD Denver, CO

My wife and I just bought a Ford Escape and it was a very good experience! Salesman Jake Vigil was straight forward in telling us about the features of two different cars, the Ford incentives and financing. There was no pressure to buy from Jake or from Sales Mgr. Drew Porter. Both answered our questions truthfully and accurately. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. I needed a car with a lower payment, so I went to Fremont because that's where I got my previous car. It took a while to find the right one, but the people there were so helpful! If you need a car, I highly recommend going to Fremont and asking for Amanda. She is awesome! She's honest and tells it like it is. That's hard to come by in car dealerships.

Jake Vigil was our salesman. He bent over backward to make the buying experience pleasant and informative. His background in service was a real positive in answering our questions. The lot did not have the specific car that we wanted (color, extras, etc). Drew Porter worked hard to locate the exact car we wanted, worked with us fairly on the financial aspects of buying the car, and got the vehicle to Sheridan promptly.Kurt Layher did a succinct job in the paper work end of the transaction. My ranch manager recently purchased a 2014 Ford truck for the ranch. I was really impressed with it-- so many great new features, far better than the old one. I think I could even drive this one myself. Originally, I thought I'd get a Toyota Sequoia because I'd had one before and loved it. I drove one at the dealership (a 2014) but I didn't love it. I wanted to compare side by side with the Ford Expedition, so Matt brought over a 2016 for me to try. It was just what I wanted: big enough but not too big, 3rd row seats that folded automatically, voice Navigation system and the capacity to leave the AC running while dogs were in the car while keeping doors locked. The only downside for me was the 2016 had a split back seat and I wanted a bench seat. I called Matt the next day to see if he had found one with a bench seat and we looked at them on his computer, but two were King Ranch models and I serve on a board with one of the Alexander heirs and I didn't want to be driving a car with their brand on it-- I have my own brand, thank you very much! I had asked Matt to look for 2015 models because I thought they'd be less expensive and then he found a very lightly used 2014 that had all the things I wanted and so they brought it from another dealership and I bought it! Happy ending. Matt explained things when I picked it up and again a second time (I forget things). I stopped in again to have him show me how to program the radio and use the coded entry system. He told me about a dog step I could get for the trailer hitch, so now dogs are loving their new car and I can take them with me everywhere. Driving is fun again. I'm a happy camper!

Purchased a used Ford Expedition and are very pleased with it. The salesman, Matt was awesome to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and made sure we were able to compare the differences between the Expedition and an Explorer. The vehicle gave trouble 16 miles from the dealership. Not good. However, the sales man, MAtt, came through by meeting us after hours and giving us a loaner car. I am reserving judgement until I run the vehicle at least 1000 miles, with no problems, then I can give Fremont a good review. Matt Thums, however, is going above and beyond so I appreciate him as a salesman.

We drove to Sheridan from Casper because my husband had purchased a Taurus SHO in Sheridan and loves it! My husband had such a great experience the last time we decided to go back again. They gave us a great trade in price this go around for the vehicle we had. We stopped in on a Thursday initially just to look but ended up deciding on a vehicle that day. This was our third new vehicle from Fremont Motors in Sheridan. This was our second involving Kyle Hanson. In each case, our expectations were clearly stated and we drove away with exactly the vehicle we sought at the price we required. It should be noted that Fremont is a two hour drive from Billings and worth every mile. There are Ford dealers much closer, but none seem nearly as motivated in providing satisfaction.

My previous Ford F150 had a major malfunction that was costly to repair and too lengthly to wait for and since that truck was 10 years old I had to purchase another F150. I worked with Matt and he met all of my needs and then some. We negotiated a price and I was able to purchase the vehicle and drive away with it that day. I have always had great service on my vehicle at Fremont Ford and now have had a great experience with the sales department. I recommend that others get to have this same experience. We actually went in just to test drive a vehicle because our past experience had been awful. We were pleasantly surprised with Matt and Fremont Ford as a whole!! When we were approached by Matt last Saturday, I enjoyed the time he took to make sure he had all the information about the qualities I was looking for in a new truck. On Tuesday however, I did not anticipate the length of time I was at the dealership. I felt obligated to finish the transaction through with either a yes or a no. At one point I felt alot of pressure into making a decision in just a couple minutes. When my wife and I had made the decision, we waited for almost two hours before we could talk to Kurt and sign the final paperwork.

I went in to have my old Ford Escape serviced and wasnt really looking to buy a new car that day but while waiting I stopped by and saw the sales person Kyle that I met previously snd we started to discuss buying a used F150 but after seeing and test driving the vehicles available I decided on a new 2014 Ford Escape. I had a 2012 model and really didnt love it so reluctantly I test drove a new one and I loved it. So I bought it and I got great financing as well.

I bought a new vehicle here years ago and it was the best choice I have ever made. Now years later I have chosen them again. And yet again they never cease to amaze me. I live in Gillette and was not able to come up to Sheridan to check out what I wanted. I called to see if I could get approved and a day later I was approved! Best news ever! Then we got the ball rolling with what I wanted and I had a new car by Friday! The best part of it all was that he came all the way down to Gillette to bring me my new purchase! Super nice and super neat and by far the best way to start off a new year! Thanks again!

My wife and I were on an extended trip traveling from Florida to the West Coast via Yellowstone and our 2008 Ford Edge broke down heading over the mountains towards Cody. The tow truck picked us up and drove us back to Sheridan and we left the car at Fremont Motors on a Sunday evening. I described our situation, writing it on the overnight drop envelope and posted our keys, not knowing how long it might take to hear back or what the damage to our car was.The next morning at about 8:00AM we were contacted by Brent in the Service Department and he had already had the car looked at and gave us the news that the radiator hose had failed and that the onboard computer had shut down the engine. I was very grateful that he had been able to diagnose the problem so quickly and that it was not more serious. By 10:00AM (if not sooner) we were back on the road again and 7,000 miles later the engine is still running smoothly. Brent and the service team were exceptionally professional and helpful during what could have been a very stressful time for us, but I felt well taken care of and would highly recommend the service team at Fremont Motors Sheridan. If I lived closer than Florida I would use them for all my maintenance work!

My wife and I had a great experience with Fremont Ford. We went in after work which was around 5:00 and all of the staff worked with us and did not leave until all of the paperwork, etc., was finished which was around 10:00 p.m. We felt like Luke, our salesman, the manager, and Kent all worked hard and kept an upbeat attitude even though it was hours after their dinner time and on to their bed time! We were able to drive the vehicles we were interested in and were able to get the information on each vehicle, pricing, payments, etc., and were given time to think about what would be best for our family. The truck was detailed and filled with gas for us to leave in which meant that the detail staff had to stay late too. We were very impressed that everyone was so dedicated. That type of dedication is very hard to find in America today! We work with the parts department through our employer and are always very impressed with how they handle our orders and deliveries. It's a great dealership!

We had a truck breakdown south of Sheridan. We were given the option to get reman engine or but new (injectors).After much consideration, we decided to go with new. Your staff made a long distance purchase (we are in Florida) relatively painless, got us the vehicle we wanted, and accommodated my staff and temporary storage of my 36 foot trailer. We travel from air show to air show so time was a critical issue. They want an answer right away on a vehicle you are interested in, they don't give you time to think about the purchase you are going to make and harass you throughout the day. If you want to test drive a vehicle they think you are buying it. I had a terrible experience with this company. I was assured The deposit I gave them was refundable. When I told them I was not able to come see the vehicle because of some important matters that came up and I was no longer interested in the vehicle. The manager contacted me and tried to guilt trip me into buying the vehicle from them. He told me I could not have my deposit back unless I bought a vehicle from them which was not told to me before I agreed to the deposit. He told me that Amanda worked hard for 3 weeks to find my perfect vehicle and she was disappointed that I did not purchase from her. she did not look for 3 weeks she looked for a week and a half. I told them I was not in a hurry and I was looking for the perfect vehicle, they kept pushing this certain vehicle on me, after I told them I was uncertain it was what I wanted. I was being harassed about making a decision. I told them I am not getting the vehicle. Now I am getting text messages asking if my sister wants the vehicle. I do not live in Wyoming I live in Montana I do not think I should spend $200 in gas and drive 2 hours to come test drive a vehicle or be harassed about my sister buying it.

My experience with all the sales staff and finance were great. They worked with me to give me what I wanted when trading my 2010 F150 Platinum for a 2013 Expedition Limited. When all the negotiation was over I was please with the outcome. I have dealt with Fremont on a previous occasion when I purchased another 2013 vehicle. I have had great experiences when working with any department.

First off, Logan in service is excellent. I have no complaints about him. I bought my 2012 Ford Focus about three weeks ago. On the way home I realized the cruise wasn't working. I took it back the next day and the code said something about the steering wheel module. I was immediately put off that they hadn't checked that first. They first suggested I bring the car in next week. Then Noelle, my salesperson, said she'd get me a loaner and I could leave it there. I was then told the GM, Matt, wanted to know why I couldn't come back the next week. They finally got me a loaner with the assurance it would be tended to immediately. Matt never came out to speak to me. I walked into his office and he never even stood up. He was a condescending jerk.I called Noelle on my way home to insist they check out the entire vehicle. She kept telling me she was sure it was nothing.However, 24 hours later I still hadn't heard a word. I called and found out it hadn't even been looked at yet. I called the salesperson and left two messages. She called me back an hour or so later and said they were getting to it. at 4:00, 30 hours after I left the car, I was told it was finished. All they did was clear a code. That's it. Nothing else was checked.Today I realized there was no oil change sticker on my windshield. I took the car in and asked why there wasn't one, since I was assured at purchase that they were taking care of it "right now." I discovered there had been NO service done on the vehicle. If there was anything done, it's not noted anywhere. This car had a sticker price of $15,900 and not one lick of work was done on it. Is it because I was a woman alone? Maybe. Is it because they're crooks? Quite possibly. I will never give them my business again.

I have been on the road with my 2012 F250 and truck-camper for three months. I needed a good place to get the oil changed and tires rotated. Since I'm from Massachusetts and I'm in Wyoming, I decided to check DealerRater to find a trustworthy Ford dealer. I agree with all the good ratings here. I was treated like an old friend even though I had never been there before. Service was quick and the customer lounge was comfortable. They have good coffee too. It's great to find a place like this when your in a strange town.

We were traveling West from Montana to Wisconsin in my 3-series BMW, and had an alternator go out. We made it to this dealership, and the staff there was incredible, even before we thought of simply purchasing a new vehicle. A salesman had a tech come out and check the alternator strength, which confirmed our thoughts. Glynis was extremely kind and thoughtful, allowing us to use the dealerships phone to go through our Plan A, B, and C. We settled on trading my car in to purchase a new (used) vehicle. Glynis was very helpful during the entire process and really knew what I was looking for, instead of BS'ing me around. Matt was also very kind and a pleasant reminder of our home state. I have no regrets about this dealership, and honestly wish I lived in Wyoming so I can continue being a customer. I wouldn't have gotten that kind of service back here in Wisconsin, it was truly unreal. Well done.

When I asked what the asking price of the 2012 Chevy Impala I purchased, everyone I asked cleverly avoided that question. The asking price was not made available to me until it came time to close the deal. I find this method unacceptable. Also the asking price was approximately $3495.00 above average asking price for a vehicle of same year, model and mileage. I feel that I am justified in thinking I did not get a fair deal.

We were very pleased with the salesman we had as we had already talked to him several times prior to making the trip to Sheridan. We were greeted great and car was already cleaned and ready for test drive and even though it was late we still took the car with us as Kurt had them clean and detail and got it ready. I live in the Denver Metro area. I checked with the biggest dealer in the area Go Courtesy Ford to lease a Ford Fuson. Sheridan Ford in Sheridan, WY, gave me by far a better monthly lease on a Fuson with more features.Matt the GM spent a good deal of time with me and helped me select a great car to lease. His employees, Kurt and Derek, were most helpful as well as others who I don't remember their names. Process of selecting a vehicle and doing paper work was a pleasurable experience. The best I have had in buying or leasing over a 40 year period of time. If you are looking for the best deal on a new Ford product, it would be worth your time and drive to check with Sheridan Fremont Ford Motors, Sheridan, Wy.

I chose Fremont Motors because i have done business with you in the past. My experience with Glynis was the best I have ever had with a saleperson. I wasn't sure which vehicle I wanted so I requested multiple units to drive. I couldn't decide on my first apperance so I requested to meet with her again the following morning to drive a few units again and she made sure to be there for me at the time I requested. After deciding on the pu I wanted I wanted a bed liner installed and a leather finish applied prior to taking my new truck home. Fremont took care of that in a timely manner. I was very happy with the rundown she gave me on the day I picked my pickup up. I still can't beleive everything you have at your disposal as far as the phone and climate control.

I bought a used car from Fremont Motors recently and I am very satisfied with my experience and the car that I bought. Since I live 800 miles away from Sheridan, my transaction was completed long distance. I always felt confident that I was dealing with an organization with integrity and Mark Smith went above and beyond to accomodate me. Overall, Fremont Motors exceeded my expectations and the car drove fantastic on my long trip home.

I found Tom to be honest, friendly and very responsive to my questions - I bought my 2008 Taurus X car over the phone and the car to be all and more than promised when I picked it up in Sheridan. Even though I live in Colorado, I will check with Tom and Fremont Motors the next time I am planning on buying a new car.

when i walked into the dealership Misti greeted me right away with a friendly smile. when i told her what i was looking for we started walking all over the lot looking for i wanted then she was telling me about a2007 ford edge. i never seen or heard of it before. when i seen it and took it to show my wife we both wanted it!and before i could try it out Derek had to drive somewhere to get the keys. i thought that was pretty cool!both Misti and Derek were both proffessional and freindly through the whole process! we will definetly recommend both of them anytime! and we are really happy with the 2007 Edge!!!

On Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the late afternoon, our 2000 Ford Windstar (purchased new in Delaware) used its last transmission function at the bottom of the exit ramp into Sheridan, Wyoming from I-90. We limped it in 2nd gear (the only one working) off of the roadway and obtained a ride to Fremont Ford.I was greeted by Jim Sutton who listened to my tale of woe of medical issues with my wife, financial trials from the cancer treatment, and now a worthless Windstar to boot. He introduced me to Kurt Layher and we began a search for a replacement vehicle.With the assistance of Derek Hall, we obtained financing at a reasonable interest rate and arranged to drive away in a 2005 Ford F150 FX4 on Monday. It had been traded in that day and needed to be detailed.I felt no pressure to buy needless extras, even though they were offered and explained to me. I remained comfortable. I researched the truck on Car Facts as well as KBB and am satisfied that I received an excellent deal all the way around.On Monday when my wife and I picked up the truck we noticed a sensation and noise from the drive train as we cornered right or left. Enter Kenny Phipps and the Service Technician whos name escapes me. They determined that it was a normal design of the drive train to clutch the rear wheels as it cornered for better efficiency. No mechanical deficiency.If I lived in or near Sheridan, Wyoming, I would buy my next vehicle there no second thoughts at all.

We were traveling to the Big Horn mountains from Wisconsin when I noticed a nocking in my engine. It was a Saturday and was able to find a local service station near Sheridan. He listened to the sound and said he would not go up in the mountains with my truck and he would not be able to get to my truck until Thursday. I asked him if he new anyone else in Sheridan or should I go to the Ford dealer. He said to definitely go to the Ford dealer. Logan the service advisor happen to stop in on his day off. He took a half hour to try and figure out the problem and it looked like it could be serious. He also said it would probably be Thurday before they could get at it, it was the week of the 4th so I wasn't surprised. At the same time I was considering buying a new truck instead and was talking to Glynis Johnson about that.She was very helpful and understanding. Not surprisingly I couldn't get the trade in value I would have liked considering no one knew exactly what my problem was. Under normal circumstances, I woundn't hesitate buying a new vehicle from Glynis or Fremont. I let Logan know that if there was any way we could get the truck buy Thursday so we could get home, I certainly would appreciate it. I never expected it to happen. We rented a car and had a great five days in the mountains. Well, they did get to it on Tuesday, ordered the new camshaft we needed which came in to late on Thursday for them to finish until Friday morning. I couldn't believe it but they put us up in a Hotel, let us borrow a car and we had a great time in Sheridan on Thursday night. Considering everthing, we couldn't have been happier! People in Sheridan are lucky to have such a Great Dealership!

Glynis had to have been the best person that I have delt with when it comes to buying a new car!! She was more than helpful. She also asked as many questions as it took to find us both what we wanted and what we needed all in one Great Car. I am so pleased with her professionalism as well as the way she is able to make the process feel more like a new friendship. I honestly would give her an 11 out of 10 for her effort.

I didn't intend on buying a new vehicle. We were just going to look, but when Misti showed us the 2011 Ford Explorer, we immediately fell head over heels. She was persistent when dealing with our finances and our wants in "payment" matters. I will go back to her should I ever decide that I need to trade my Explorer for something else, but I can't imagine that will happen too soon as we are super happy with our vehicle! Thank you Misti!

Misti and I had talked and narrowed down what I was looking for. When the CUV came in she called me right away and I went and drove it. She was so knowledgeable about the vehicle, she new exactly what and where every little thing was. Which made picking the vehicle I wanted that much easier. Fremont Motors in Sheridan is probably "The nicest and fair" car dealer in the nation. I have lived in a lot of different states in the U.S. and have never felt most "at home" with ALL of the people that work there. The service and sales people are the best I've ever dealt with. They really care and they back up everything they say they will do. These guys are an A 1 dealership. I know I'll get the best price and trade-in value for my Toyota. I have been using them for over 12 years now and they have never, ever, let me down on anything! That's astounding. This is why we buy all our our Toyotas from them. Hands down, these guys are the best!

We were vacationing in Sheridan when our Expedition started acting up. We saw the Ford Dealership sign and pulled in. They worked us into their schedule and within an hour they had identified a bad fuel pump as the problem. They did what they could to get us running and on the road as soon as possible. Everyone was very friendly, they even washed our vehicle for us! It's been running great ever since!

After not a very good experience with the Service Department on the vehicle I had taken in to have a remote start put on; Matt stepped up and handled my "case" as if the vehicle was his very own. I then spotted a car similar time mine but a year newer. Matt did everything he could within his bounds to help make the trade of my car into the one I have now. Matt and his team really stepped up to the plate and helped regain my trust and respect for the Fremont Dealership here in Sheridan.

The truck was just as it was described on the internet. They did quote me a price for my trade sight unseen and them when they saw it they were able to give more for it then the high end quoted. He took the time to send us a Flip video of my new car, when the temperature was below zero outside. Actually seeing the video of it, sold it to me.

No, no, "Great" doesn't begin to cover it. This was far and away the most excellent experience I've had with buying a rig. I found it online, looked over the online window sticker (that's an awesome feature BTW) calculated its value to me and made an offer. Within 15 minutes, we had a deal. But it gets better. Jayson worked stuff around and got us the extended warranty AND knocked $1,000 off the bottom line. I drove back to Billings, grinning so hard that my face hurts today. I knew what I wanted, I knew what I wanted to pay and got an even better deal than anticipated. Oh yeah, these guys are the bomb. Terry met us at the door, keys in hand and Jayson plowed through the paperwork in excellent time. It was 20 minutes from the time we pulled onto the lot until we were heading home in a new truck. THIS is how to buy a vehicle and THESE are the people to buy it from. It's 134 miles from Billings to Sheridan and dealing with these folks makes it worth every inch. Count on seeing us again for our future purchases.

Both our sales person and the dealership showed the highest level of professionalism. The vehicle we were test driving was ready and out front ahead of our appointment. We were treated kindly and respectfully through the entire process. And after our sale was done, Glenn, of his own initiative, contacted the previous owner for a missing item, saving us a few hundred dollars. We'll be returning for our next vehicle purchase.

Greatest experience in buying a car ever! I did everything online. From finding the 2011 Ford Edge I wanted to trading in my 2007 Ford Fusion. The financing was all done online also. Working with Glenn was an all around great experience. Glenn drove 3 and a half hours to just deliver my 2011 Ford Edge. He made sure the tank was full and car was clean before he delivered it to us.
