Had a great experience with Nate, who walked us through all the features on the Honda Pilot and was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly; everything you would expect from a sales person. A few days went by and I asked for a simple breakdown on the pricing. Toby Garcia got involved and refused to provide me the requested information. Toby insisted that my expectations on the price put the Elite trim "out of play" and that the Elite models are extremely rare. So rare, in fact, that Santa Fe Honda had one in stock and was able to provide fair pricing via email immediately. Toby doesn't comprehend or care about the modern customer. A simple request for pricing, readily provided via email from a competitor, was met with an attitude, as if I was wasting his time. If a company won't even give you the price of their product up front, how can you trust them with your business?

Garcia dealerships used to be known for great service, but lately this is not the case. Besides several questionable issues at other Garcia dealerships, my mother took her Honda in to Garcia Honda with the check engine light on and asked if they could quickly check it and tell her the issue. She even offered to pay. They rudely said "no, we will not. You got your last oil change somewhere else, and they probably did it wrong. Go read the manual and figure it out yourself". Shocking, really.

Went to Garcia to purchase a 2016 Civic, model I wanted was not in stock, no attempt was made to try to get me the car I wanted, instead was shown a lower end model and told that it would be weeks before I could see anything else. Ended up buying lower end model, for which I paid way too much (that was mostly my fault, I should have walked out the door) was not terribly happy, was left sitting waiting for a very long time for "finance guy" to be available. Finance guy was horrible, rude, condescending, upset that I was paying cash and didn't want a loan. I understand that they make money on the up-sell, but this guy was so unpleasant I didn't buy things I otherwise might have. I did buy floor mats and a trunk mat, which I still haven't received over three weeks later. When I called the dealership to ask about it the parts department had no record of the order, it was never submitted, though they certainly charged me for it. Was told I'd be transferred back to the sales department to straighten it out, was then put on hold for 10 minutes and no one ever answered. Hung up, called again, spoke to someone in sales who said he'd take care of it and someone would call me back in ten minutes. Shockingly, it is now 30 minutes later and I've heard nothing.I love my car, have bought and owned several Hondas over the years, I currently have a CRV and an Accord in addition to the Civic I just purchased, but I will never buy another car from Garcia and am so unhappy about this I may stop buying Hondas.

What a deal breaker! Sales manager Brandon agreed to sale a Honda Civic at the agreed price. Brandon refused to fax purchase order to my approved bank and stated they don't have purchase orders to fax. Brandon stated he would have to finance me through their approved bank and stated at my choice I can refinance through my approved credit union. This experience was horrible and very unprofessional.

We were on our road trip from Texas when our check engine light went on in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. We drove with it on for 1.5 hours before we could get to Garcia Honda. Richard Simms saw us drive up in the Express Service and listened to concerns about the vehicle. He immediately checked the code and informed us that it may be the catalytic converter but it wouldn't stop the vehicle from operating. He reset the code and said if it came on again, we should have it checked out. I was relieved that we wouldn't have any repairs needed during our vacation and he gave us the confidence to continue our trip without worry. The light has not come on again. I had no negative reviews to read prior to our emergency visit, and I'm GLAD. Garcia came through for us.

If you are elderly and shopping for a Honda, skip this dealership. They wore us down and then high pressured us into a rip off deal. We were cheated out of a Honda rebate and charged $3000.00 over a fair selling price. When we went to the finance manager they skipped over the bad parts of the deal. Of course by this time we were so tired we could not reason.SO BEWARE OF THIS RIP OFF DEALER, WE HAVE SINCE FOUND OTHERS IN OUR AREA THAT HAVE PAID WAY OVER A FAIR PRICE

I came in to get air in my tire and found out I had a nail. Where the nail was located meant they could not repair it. I had an important appointment to make and they told me they would get me out in one hour and a half. They did it in one hour. I was impressed with the professionalism. They did not have the replacement tire and had to go to the ware house. They went over and above to serve me. Kudos to all the staff.

After many years of using Garcia Honda, I've gone for my last time. Every time I take my car in, there are new staff. That should be a clue. The latest shuttle driver doesn't want to leave at 8 a.m. even when there are people waiting. The dealership promises to have a shuttle leave at 8 a.m. Having had to bring my car in two times in one week, the second visit the driver came out to gather people for the shuttle, she only called one name and it wasn't mine. It was too late before I realized that she had gone, deciding she didn't want to take me and the other two people on the list who were also waiting.If you want good customer service, this is not the place for you. I'll get my service done at Perfection from now on.

I had fairly extensive repairs performed on my Honda Pilot. Our service representative Keaton did a great job explaining what was going to be done and providing the cost. He did a great job of communicating with us throughout the process and was very friendly. Everything went exactly as we were told. The repairs were done correctly the first time and were done quickly too. Based on the service we received, we would never go anywhere else for service and will buy a new car from Garcia Honda again. A great experience all around.

I have been doing business with Garcia Honda since 1995 and have just purchased a 2015 CR-V Touring SUV. Over the years I have also used their service department for all of my Hondas. I can say without question that it is the best dealership that I have ever used. The staff,from the senior management, to the courtesy car driver are courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. I can't imagine going anywhere else in New Mexico but a Garcia Group dealership for a new car or servicing.

It was time for routine autumn service: oil change, tire pressure, wiper blade inserts, basic checkup. I was in and out very quickly, the service was attentive, and I applied the discount coupon that had come in the mail. I was given a review of all the items that had been checked and what action, if any, had been taken. It is the service I expect and my car (my third Accord) is running great.

We had an oil leak in a newly purchased Honda Accord XL. Jon explained the problem and ordered parts. He provided a loaner car so we could take a previously planned car trip and kept in touch with us via several calls while waiting for parts. When the parts were installed he showed us the area concerned on another car being worked on in the shop. We were disapointed that our new car had a factory defect and that the parts needed were not available in the U.S., causing our car to be out of service for 3 weeks. We believe that Jon made the best of a manufacturing defect situation and appreciate his time and efforts.

I was very happy that they had let me know last time that my filters were about ready for new ones. It allowed me to plan a head and have the cash available , along with my coupons. Mr. Baros in the Honda service department was very friendly and welcoming. I went in for an oil change but during the multi-point inspection a few things were found that needed to be addressed sooner or later. Since I wasn't prepared to pay for anything other than the oil change Mr Baros did not pressure me on the other items but he did offer to have them attached to my invoice for my future reference. Going to Garcia Honda's service department has always been a pleasurable experience.

I really dreaded looking for a new car by myself without a lot of car knowledge. I've had Honda's and loved them, but they'd all been in the family and passed down. My son is still driving the 1998 CRV. I thought I'd get another CRV. Then I met Ron. He took the time to sit with me, ask lots of questions, get a feel for what I was and wasn't comfortable with or about. He had me sit in all the models and then give him feedback. My needs and requirements had changed in the intervening years. I test drove the Accord. That was it. The pricing, the payment options, the financing were all explained and we discussed what would be best for me. Then Ron came out and showed me how to program the cars radio, phone, etc. It was a great experience.

I arrived at your service department for an 8:00 AM appointment. Your service people were polite and professional. The paperwork was processed right away and I proceeded to the waiting area. I figured I would wait about 90 minutes for the job (oil shange) to be completed. The charis in the waiting room were very comfortable and there were refreshments (not needed). I had a book with me and time flew. At 8:45 a service rep came bay and explained that two filters could be replaced, but were not a priority at this time. There was also a squeak in the driver's side visor which could not be lubricated, but the visor could be replaced. To me that was not a priority. After we discussed options I sat back with my book and, surprisingly, was on my way home by 9:00. I was very pleased with this visit.

Due to issues with the radiator and compressor, the service was excellent, and I was kept informed of the status of repairs. The cost was a bit pricey for me, but do understand the skill and labor needed to perform the repairs, and am happy to say Garcia Honda has always provided me with outstanding quality service, and I am now driving with a peace of mind.

No Big Box feel. Work is done quickly and everything is explained and then the heads up for what might be needed next service. No surprises. Dave is great and the mechanics have always gotten it right the first time. I live a charmed life. All the staff is friendly and make sure everything you might need is handled. Questions are not avoided and since I am a car klutz I appreciate the explanations in a language I can understand. Trust them and their work.

I brought my car in for a trip check. I was promised the car in a couple of hours. I was called about some service issues and decided to go ahead with one of the suggestions. I waited a long time and finally contacted the service rep who promised me the car by 2PM. True to his word the car was ready at 2. When I went to pick up the car he offered me a very fair adjustment because I had to wait so long. I was very pleased with the service provided and Alan's helpfulness and demeanor. In addition to Alan I have returned numerous times to the service department with questions. In every case I was treated with respect and not felt like my question was silly.Before this car it was always my feeling that dealership service had an "out to get you" attitude. I will say the in every case I have been pleased with the service offered by Garcia Honda

While Monica, Louis and Mike all tried there best to maintain an acceptable profit margin, in the end they gave me what I wanted for my trade and I paid what I consider a fair price for the vehicle (2014 Pilot Touring). I was shopping for a used car when I stopped at Garcia Honda on a whim that they might have a reasonably good deal on a new Fit. I met and spoke with a salesperson John Motley. He explained the features and benefits of the news model 2015 Honda Fit and I was quite taken by this car. Unfortunately while I don't have any real black marks on my credit history, I don't have any positive marks either. He worked with the finance people at Garcia, I think that he had put in a good word for me from our honest-as-I-could-be with him conversation and I found myself financed within a few hours. I have been driving my new Fit for a week, I like the styling, am amazed at the interior space, and have over 45 mpg on my first tank of gas! I am a very information oriented college teacher that researched my purchase, I would tell anyone interested that the Fit is the best car in the sub-compact class as well as having greater interior space than many cars in the compact, sedan and economy classes.

Went for a routine oil change and the technician noticed one of my lower LED running lights had come unclipped and was resting inside the front poly valance. I had put off fixing it myself because I knew I had to pull off the lower air dam to get at it. The tech fixed it for me at no charge while he was under my SUV. I had no appointment and they got my oil change done pretty quick as well. Great Job!!

I worked with Matthew T in Sales and Matthew in finance who both made the process very easy. No hassle on my trade, no hidden fees or fees/costs added after the fact. I was in and out in 2 hours with a long test drive, complete walk through of the dealership departments and all. Plus I got a really low interest rate. I had called to check if my passenger side visor was covered under my extended warranty. I initially spoke with another individual who said my warranty had ended in 03/2014. I asked since I had an extended warranty would this be covered? He said he would call, but didnt return my call. I called back and spoke with an indivdual named Dave. He was very helpful and stated he would not charge me and to bring my car in when I was ready. I brought it in and it was 530 close to closing time, but he still helped me. He had someone install it and we were out quick. He worked with me and got what I needed done. He showed me that Garcia Honda continues to have great customer service and I will continue to go back. I initially contacted the service manager (Tuesday, 24 June '14)...since I found his card in my owner's manual. He did not answer nor did he return my call (until AFTER I got my Garcia Honda Fitt serviced). But when I called back, I have to admit that I did indeed receive stellar service from David Alton. My battery pooped out because I hadn't driven it in awhile, so it had to be replaced. I was so glad to find out that it was still covered by warranty (the guy at Autozone wanted to charge me $134.00 to replace it). David and his crew took care of it right away. They even washed my Fitt for me. That was cool! They really do care about their customers...even though its been almost two years since I purchased it there (Lomas/Wyoming) store. Thank you guys.

I had a horrible experience with Garcia in buying my most recent car. I have bought from them in the past and genuinely felt good about my history with them. The most recent buying experience was marked by incompetence, deceit, and frustration. If a man named Sequoia is trying to help with the sale run in the opposite direction! Needless to say, I likely won't be buying from them again. However, all that being said, I am continually impressed by the service department. Other than their phone system to set up appointments being a pain, the service is top notch! Theo and Keaton were fantastic, extremely helpful, caring and enthusiastic. It is clear that they not only care about their work, but they truly have a desire to do it well. If only this could be brought to their sales department! This is the first brand new car I have ever bought and compared to the other places I shopped Garcia Honda was head and shoulders over the other places. The salesperson was knowledgeable about the car, low pressure, personable and everyone was super friendly. Obviously, I haven't had to have it serviced yet, but I will definitely take it there rather than the other dealer that is closer to my house. Honda service department was very friendly and professional. I had to change my appointment on a short notice so Dave was happy to change my appointment. When I arrived at Honda, I was greeted promptly. Angel went over what my car needed service after initial inspection. I told Angel that I can't leave my car all day for all the works. Angel was able to arrange a loaner car for me so I can go to my appointment and errand. My car was ready before the estimated time and cost less than the estimate. I have my honda civic service by Garcia honda since 2001. Everybody is terrific. I recommend Garcia to my family and friends.

It was a shame that the last step left us with a bad feeling. Great sales folks, great price, great car, painful process of signing the paper work. Basicly signing the final paper work tortuous even though we had already secured our own financing. The sales pitch to buy an extended warranty was high pressure and real close to out right confrontational. Left us with the feeling a Honda basic warranty is not worth the paper it is written on and we were idiots for not buying one of their warranties.

My service for my Honda Fit was wonderful. I got things in and out in good time and the service manager was great at explaining everything to me. My wife's car also was serviced and the problems taken care of that same day despite our delay of getting back to the service department late in the afternoon.I love Honda's and this is one of the reasons why, great service and care, not just the feeling of being taken advantage by someone who is just in it for the money.

I took my car in for a lube and oil. I was greeted quickly by someone who was very friendly. However, once I got inside to give my info, etc, it seemed that everyone was a bit on edge; not as friendly as in past experiences. My car was done very quickly and with extremely good work. However, the gentleman who called me actually called me over the speaker (which was very difficult to hear). I wasn't sure it was me who was paged, so I went to the service desk to ask, and the gentleman told me he had been calling me for some time, quickly, and w/o showing me the test results from the paper, glossed over the recommendations. He didn't come back to get me (I was right there - in the waiting area, not far....) and was very pointed. I was taken by surprise as it was just a weird experience. I have enjoyed coming to this service center at the dealers for 5-6 years now. I find their work to be of quality and usually are over-the-top friendly and courteous. Not this time. I am hoping this is just a fluke and not what will be the norm from now on.

I was asked if I wanted the complimentary car wash, and I said yes. But I rate the quality of the wash as "D". Water spots were left; one side was clearly better than the other; the hubs were only partially cleaned. Offering a wash is a great customer service idea; but if the wash is done poorly, you might as well not do it.

My experience at Garcia Honda in Albuquerque was superb! From the minute that I walked in to the time that I left. I have to be honest, all I went in for was to have an extra key made for my 2010 Honda Civic. By the time I left, I walked out with a new key that went to my new 2014 Honda Civic. It was a very good decision. Manuel Lopez was very courteous and attentive to my buying needs. Buying a new car from Garcia Honda in ABQ was a great choice. This is what I liked: I live in Santa Fe. I bought my CRV from Garcia in ABQ. The buying experience was terrific. Tony was my salesman. I wanted Garcia to do the service work. I called for a service appointment on MON. The appointment was made for the next day at 2pm. I brought the car in on time and the service was completed in one hour. One of the service advisers went over the inspection and explained what service was done. I appreciate the friendly and efficient service offered. I will continue to use Garcia for my CRV service. My 2008 CRV told me the oil wax at 15%, so I scheduled the necessary oil change. Soon after the call I was emailed the appointment reminder. While in, other maintenance items were discovered due. In addition a leak involving my air conditioner was found. The cost was going to be much more than expected so I was called to discuss this and to obtain my permission to continue. Even with the extra work, the car was completed by the scheduled time and I was called when it was ready to go. I also received a complementary car wash! Very professional people here from the initial intake gentleman to the guys inside. I will buy my next car here if only to use this service!!!!

I'm thoroughly surprised by the rest of these reviews, not even close to our experience here. In short, they care more about you getting financed through them than giving you a value. No negotiating on the price, only misdirection with "we will work with you", which means extending the length of the loan. We came in, with a check in hand, pre-approved through a bank of our choice at an excellent rate, and we wanted a lower out the door price; however, our sales man kept saying things to the effect of "well, put $1,000" or "we can give you payments of XXX with a long loan...". Not what we wanted, but they kept coming back to financing through them and wouldn't budge on the out-the-door price. I guess I must point out that they one time they lowered the price was after taking away part of the warranty.... Thanks for "working with us" on that one Benny. We went to Power Ford and they THREW IN the CPO inspection (which meant a better and longer warranty) for no additional cost. The model was a year newer and $2,000 less than what we were close to buying at Garcia Honda. I don't ever plan on going back or recommending anyone else to go there, there are far better dealerships than give you more car for your dollar.

Since I live two and a half hours out of town and I work seven days a week it is difficult to bring my vehicle to the dealership to be serviced. Garcia Honda service department got my CR-V into the bay quickly and assessed the problem. Within 15-minutes, the technician explained the problem to me and said it would take this long to repair. My wait time was only 2.5 hours. I was happy they fixed the door lock, but I don't know why they company did not situate a Recall on this safety item?

I have wanted to get the most out of my 2013 Honda Accord so I was excited when I read online that there was an update to the computer system that was available so my car would communicate better with my iphone. After there was some confusion on it being available at Garcia Honda, Scott got in touch with me and set it up to have it installed the next day. Everyone at the service center was polite and helpful. I appreciated that they admitted they hadn't done this install on another vehicle and couldn't say how long it would take, etc. The honesty was nice.

Our first service experience was great. Just had our first oil change and inspection and had already driven 9,000 miles! That is wonderful for us as we drive it as a commuter car 80+ miles a day, 5 days a week. It adds up fast. My husband and I are enjoying the Accord very much.

NIce, honest, good deal. I would definitely go back when buying a new car. The other local dealer was not willing to provide the same discounting unless it was an all cash deal. I could pay the cash, but the other local dealer turned me off just because of that alone. Garcia offered up the discounting without even asking. And I know for a fact that the base, and then the final price was netter at Garcia.

I had originally experienced Garcia Honda through a friend's service there. While I was picking her up after she dropped off her car, I mentioned a problem with my own 2007 Fit. The service manager promptly told me to drive it around and they fixed it in a very short time at a very reasonable price. I decided then that I would buy my next new Honda at Garcia. So when I did come back for a 2013 Fit, I was not at all surprised by the great service and attention to my requests and needs in making the purchase happen as easily and painlessly as possible. I actually wound up buying more car than I thought I could for a payment well within my budget. I remarked on the great service and Manuel had a great perspective. He said "There are 3800 Honda dealerships in the United States. So why would you come to this one, other than for the excellent quality customer service we provide." I agree.

The customer service was "Great" due to a quick check-in from the drive-in bay, prompt service inside by an advisor and little wait for a courtesy shuttle as I was dropped off and picked up. The last point was a decider due to my not having any other means to get home and quite a waste of my time if I had to hang around the service center all day. The lesser "Good" ratings are due to my needing time to evaluate the quality of vehicle servicing done, but I do appreciate the notes about the front struts from the inspection done on my car. Also, it's been awhile since my last visit for service because I was a bit turned off by a less than friendly experience or two I had had in the past. I'm glad to say that that was not the case yesterday. Lastly, the "OK" for the cost of the servicing should not be surprising. Servicing usually costs more than you'd hope it might. I realize that the type of servicing probably required a lot of shop time, and in the end the advisor was able to take a little off the quoted price but it still hurt. Replacing the belts and pump was necessary and I needed the dealer to handle this one. So thank you!

This is the second new car I have bought from Garcia Honda. I've always been treated very well by all sales/floor staff I've encountered and never felt pressured to buy anything. Louis, Ayrat, and Matthew (in finance) answered my questions clearly and promptly. We purchased a CRV in October after much online research. We were tired of our van and wanted to downsize. The CRV had the highest safety rating and best mpg for other SUVs in its class. We went in completely skeptical to test drive. The test drive was amazing. Our sales man, Mike, showed us all aspects of the car before getting in, showing us how to use everything. He raved about the back up camera and blue tooth phone system. Neither of those were important to us then. We now couldn't live without them. My husband was convinced that we couldn't afford it, but we still let them pull our credit to see. They gaveus copies of our scores in case we wanted to go somewhere else next. No pressure at all. The sales manager was very friendly and came by often to check on us and answer questions. They were willing to do some nontraditional things with our trade. We were out with a new vehicle we could afford in like three hours. We were so happy with the no pressure wonderful sales experience that I doubt we will ever go anywhere else. in December we bought another CRV, working with CJ this time. Another wonderful experience. My husband and I love the vehicle and we both want one. We then took my mother in law over and she got a Fit. I test drove that one as well and loved it. High quality cars, high quality sales experience. I was in an accident two weeks after buying the first crv and the service staff pointed me in the right direction and checked it out afterwards. Havent needed any other service yet.

I'm not sure if Patrick was the automotive technician who worked on my vehicle or if he was the gentleman who checked me in. The gent who checked me in exemplified great customer service and provided me with my most positive experience with Garcia Honda to date (I've been unimpressed for the most part). My invoice number was HOCS758164 and this review is for him and him alone. I have to say, this being my first visit to Garcia Honda Service center, my initial impression wasn't good. I didn't know where to go and so went into the glass kiosk outside the center to ask for assistance. The pompous pretty boy on the right asked me how he could assist and talked over me as I answered. I found him to be rude and unhelpful. I was ready to never come back to Garcia Honda again and you can thank the gentleman who actually assisted me for giving you another chance.

My husband and I were driving to work when one of the wheels started making a metallic scraping sound. We pulled over and did not see anything. We called Garcia Honda and they were able to fit us in that day. They checked everything out and did not charge me anything. This is the second Honda I have bought from them and they have done all the service on both cars. I have always been very pleased: the service has been good, the employees are polite and friendly, and the car is done when they say it will be done.

When my mom & I drove up, Travis Twilley came to see how he could help us. I had asked for Ayrat, but he was off. I asked Travis Twilley to help me. He took us to Monica O'Malley who greeted us very friendly & professional. She had Travis help us with finding a new Honda Civic. Travis showed us the new 2013 Honda Civic. I got to test drive once we were off the lot. My mom & I were very impressed with all the features of the Honda Civic. Once the decision was made to buy one, Monica told us what colors were available & I got to choose the color I wanted. I picked white.Travis helped me fill out the paperwork & Monica helped, too. My mom was very kind in giving the down payment. We explained the situation of being in a car accident. I was still fighting with the insurance company as to what they were going to do with my 1993 Honda Accord. After a few days, we decided to go ahead & get the car despite no answer from the insurance company. Monica called & I returned her call with a date to go get the car. Monica told me that Travis would come pick me up & take me so I could get my new car right away. I made the appointment for Thursday after work. I am very appreciative of being picked up. A friend was picking me up & taking me home for at 1 1/2 weeks. She was starting to get irritated. Once we got there at the dealership, Travis was very helpful. I got to see the additional features that I could add to the Honda Civic while we were waiting for Matthew Newton. Monica came over & asked how my mom was and if I was excited about my new car. Yes I was excited & happy to be getting my new car. Very friendly & courteous. Impressive lady. Once I got into his office, we did the paperwork in no time. Matthew explained each single paper that I was signing & why. He also answered my questions in regards to payments & payming extra when I had the money. He even made a few excellent suggestions to help get the car paid off faster. Excellent information I will follow. Once done, I got my paperwork & Travis took me to my new car. He explained all the features of the car. He even answered all my questions regarding some necessary features I needed to know in order to drive my car. Eg: lights, window wipers. He was very kind to set up the bluetooth on my phone with the car. How cool is that!!!!! Excellent explainations of the car controls. Ones that I needed to know & ones that I wanted to know. If I was to buy another Honda, I would definitely ask for Travis Twilley as a salesman. I would be happy to work with Monica O'Malley & Matthew Newton again. They are very professional & excellent employees. I hope that they are with you for a very long time!!!!! Thanks for the excellent help from the moment my mom & I went in till I signed the necessary paperwork & drove off in my new Honda Civic!

They charge more than the independent auto mechanics, so I don't use the dealers. That said, Garcia Honda people are ALWAYS courteous, professional, friendly. Over the years I have developed a distrust for service providers. Garcia proved to be an exception to my rule. My need was just a battery but I needed it "now". They got me in quickly, tested both the battery and charging system, replaced the defective battery and sent me on my way in a bit more than an hour. They told me what killed the battery and they could fix it, for a reasonable fee, but didn't push the issue. Totally up to me if I wanted more work done. Because they didn't push, threaten, cajole, or otherwise try to squeeze more work out of me I will take my Civic back for the repair....at my convenience. I very much appreciate that sort of treatment. The facilities are well maintained and the staff look and act professional. The Garcia group ( we bought a Forester from their Subaru store) has been the sort of business I want to do business with every time I go in. I hope they continue to prove my scepticism wrong.

We purchased our CR-V in July, 2013. One of the reasons for purchase was we wanted to re-due our honneymoon trip for our 40th wedding anniversary in Aug. We did. We went basically the same route through the western state. On our original trip we camped, but this time we stayed in comfortable motel, etc. We at least six Nat'l Parks, many monuments and state parks. We put on 5400 miles. Visited NM, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Wash, Oragon, Calif, Nev. The CR-V did great and on one leg got 38 m/g, avg 35. In town avg 28 m/g. It we were comfortable with room enough for all our stuff. From mid Calif, Redding to Austin, Nev we drove in a smoke haze due to the Yosemite forrest fire. Great Car. This is the first new car I have ever purchased. Thanks

All aspects of our interaction with Garcia staff were satisfactory to excellent in three visits. The only annoyance was too much waiting while sales staff conferred with each other. We became acquainted with several staff members as they rotated among us and other customers. All were pleasant and helpful while doing their sales pitch or other duties. It was a far better experience than our last Honda purchase, which was from the other Honda dealer in Albuquerque. We also appreciate the fact that Garcia supports community cultural activities and facilities at the University of New Mexico.

Owning the same Honda Accord for 21 years should be ample testimony of my satisfaction with the brand and service. Not everyone is privileged to own a car old enough to vote. However, I was ready to consider a Toyota and/or a Suburu...just for a change. All my interactions with the salesman (Manuel), the business manager (Danny), and with the boss (Toby Garcia) confirmed that I was in the right place. Dave in the Service Department has already confirmed for me the quality of maintenance that has been available to me since 1992. I have every expectation that it will continue. At age 84, I am quite confident that the car will outlast me. Now, if I can just get used to all the bells and whistles (i.e., technology) that has changed in a couple of decades.

Do your homework...They are the most expensive and rudeness from their service manager Richard just made my purchase an unpleasant one.I was fooled once and went back...Don't be fooled like I did.BTW they are famous [ by me] for the most expensive oil change in America.Research it. Before visiting Garcia Honda we looked at two other brands, both owned by a behemoth dealer of the western US. I was surprised to see cliche slimy car salesman behavior at both of these other dealerships. Gary at Garcia Honda was the complete opposite. We did not feel like we were being pressured into anything and he was open and up front about the whole process of selecting and purchasing a vehicle. Gary was also very knowledgeable about what he is selling. One would expect this from a salesman, but that was surprisingly not the case at other dealerships. This is our 5th Honda. Three purchased new since the late 80's. All new purchases were upgrades. The sales staff were very knowledgeable with the Honda product. Louis and Gary obviously take great pride in what they do and they do it good! The service team were made available to answer all questions, particularly Brian Osler. We will definitely visit and recommend Garcia in the future for new purchases in the future. Keep up the good work!

I have dealt with many car dealers over the years and Garcia Honda is the ONLY one I actually like to come to. Sales people are friendly, never pushy and always knowledgable. Managers have always gone above and beyond to work with my wife and I to enable us to stay in our price range/budget. More than once, the owner himself Toby Garcia has worked with us to get us a vehicle at the right price. I've never experienced that at any other dealership. The maintenance section is top-notch, quick, efficient and has a superb shuttle service. How much do I like dealing with Garcia Honda? Since 2001, 12 vehicles, new and used, for myself and family members. As long as I live in the Albuquerque area, there are more to come. I'll never go anywhere else.

I found the Garcia Honda Dealership to be thorough and knowledgeable concerning the service of my 2013 Accord. My appointment was for 8:00 AM and I was out of there by 9:10 AM. The cost was reasonable since synthetic oil is required. The tires were rotated and the car was washed before being returned to me. The service personnel were courteous and respectful of my time and questions. I will continue to have my Honda serviced at Garcia Honda. Brian Ostler (and his team) is the main reason we buy our vehicles at Garcia and have them serviced there. My previous vehicle was an Acura and I brought it there for service as the service department was so far superior to Acura. He is the best.

From the time we were met in the parking lot of Garcia Honda by Jacob Perry, we were very cared for by him. He kept in touch with us by phone and email as we searched for our new car. We reviewed the Fords, the Nissans, the Mazadas and the Toyotas. We were totally sold on the Honda, after we looked at the other cars. The sales people were not caring or very informative. Garcia Honda was totally opposite in the care of our needs and wishes in our car selection. My husband, is an engineer and usually asks many different questions about all cars however, Jacob was able to ask everyone of those questions. He maybe a new sales person for Garcia, but he is very educated about the Honda's! Thank you for having staff support that is so good at what they do to assist your customers. We are so thrilled with our Odyssey and will bring it in on Wednesday, for the extra's to be installed.

I was helping my younger sister shop for a new car because my father is a tax accountant and in the middle of tax season where he is working at least 80 hours every week. We went into Garcia Honda to look at the 2013 accords. We found a car we wanted and negotiated a very reasonable price (We were told we were getting this price because we knew people in the service department). After my sister had a family discussion with my father she went in with him the next business day with 10k to put down on the car, which hadn't even hit the lot yet. There they were told that the price of the car had gone up by about $1,000! It was rediculous. After they said that they were not going to purchase it if they change the price at the last minute, they kept playing the "wait em out game" with my fathers valuable time and wouldn't give them a new offer. They said they would fax another offer the next day which they never did. I then went online and went to Costco's Auto program. I entered my information and within 30 minutes was given a no haggle price that was LESS than the original price we had negotiated. Needless to say we bought from somewhere besides Garcia Honda. What really made me upset is since I gave my contact information to Garcia Honda "Toby" Garcia started to email me and after I told him what happened, he started to argue and belittle me through email. It was completely unacceptable. I can't suggest enough for you not to go to Garcia Honda.

I appreciated the exceptional friendliness of everyone at Garcia Honda. The atmosphere is welcoming and didn't feel like a service dept. at all. The waiting room was comfortable and reminded me of a doctor's office! However, the price of my oil change was prohibitive. As much as I would like to return, I won't be able to- the cost of $57 is just too much for an oil change. I was not prepared for the expense. First, I was not looking to buy a new car - I was perfectly happy w/the one I had. I had taken my car in for a lube & oil & while I was waiting I walked the showroom. I discovered this gorgeous 2013 Civic that got even better gas mileage than the FIT (my car at the time); I was a bit floored. It was a much bigger car afterall! James came over & he and Phil began answering my questions. They actually found one for me to drive. Admittedly, I was hooked after that. The drive was smooth & quiet; the car handled like a dream! Phil & James went out of their way to make sure the price was right (actually, the offer was one that could not be passed - it was that good!) and everything was ready on time as discussed. I had a great experience buying through this dealer & I will always buy from them!

Several years ago we bought a car from Garcia Honda: we knew exactly what we wanted, worked directly with Toby Garcia (the General Manager) and had a great purchase experience. Fast forward to the present: This time we had to make several visits to research and test drive a few different models. We kept getting directed to different sales persons and Monica (the Sales Manager) kept interfering with our interactions. We finally decided what we wanted, put down a deposit and waited eight weeks. When the car arrived and we went in to buy it the paperwork process was terrible! Despite having our own existing insurance and paying in full in cash the dealership wanted us to sign papers to: transfer our insurance to American Honda, make Garcia Honda the loss payee, agree to letting them run a credit report, and partially fill out and sign a credit application. We strongly felt that either the dealer was dishonest or its paperwork was sloppy. In any case we almost walked out several times during the process because it just wasn't making sense. We almost couldn't believe it when we finally got to the purchase agreement and the total was exactly what we'd committed to when we put down the deposit. In any case we intend never to shop here again.

worst honda dealership in america that I know of.You are too paying too much for everything.Check your bills and other dealerships.Albuquerque is not a rich city like Brookfiield ct. [ where I lived previously} so your oil changes should not be at least 25 per cent more than ct.

Garcia Honda Used Cars. They have demonstrated to me that the old saying "Never trust a used car salesman" is still true. I purchased a used Ford pickup truck from them. The salesman was good and the deal on the vehicle seemed great. The truck had several medium and small issues. The dealer had agreed to fix them. One issue that upsets me is that the battery was bad in the truck and they knew it. They agreed to put a new battery in it. Well, a couple weeks later the battery was dead again and when I went to jump the truck, I saw that instead of a new battery they had put in a used battery which now was bad also. Another was how strongly they emphasized that they check everything and change all the fluids and such. When I took the vehicle to my mechanic to check the balance of the tires, two of the rims were very bent; the dealer will not do anything about that. The mechanic also found that the brake fluid was fouled, the radiator fluid was brown, the transmission fluid was almost black and smelled burnt, and the air filter was completely coated in grease and dirt. Checking everything out and cleaning out and changing all the fluids cost me nearly $1000. That does not include doing anything about the bent rims. The truck is also missing the spare tire and they still have not gotten me one. As I said, they refused to do anything about any of it and provided me with a copy of the check list that their mechanic completed on the vehicle to check it out. They only checked things that were purely safety related; and, it is pretty apparent that the mechanic just marked all the check marks at one time; you can tell when someone just runs down a list making the marks. So, even though all are marked I do not have trust that each item was really checked. This is not a one time type of thing and so if you get a vehicle from them you can expect to be taking a chance as well. I just will never buy another from them and I would recommend not buying from them.

As usual, the Garcia Honda Service Dept. was friendly and courteous, helpful, patient, careful to explain everything, and willing to try whatever it took to fix a complicated problem that I had created and that became an emergency. They were cheerful and energetic throughout the process, and this all happened on a day when they were busy and I showed up at the end of the day.
