Alex st fort was very professional knowledgeable and friendly! He was very eager to help us. The buying process is way too long.....paperwork should be printed and ready to go before you arrive....had to wait 45 minutes to go into a room to sign papers to wait for someone to do dmv paperwork ....spent a total of three hours to get out and into my vehicle which is very frustrating.

I have not bought a car here but I feel like if I did it would change my life. Looking at the location on google maps and the inventory of new and used cars I am confident this dealership is what I have been missing. I feel like the car salesman would become my friend and send me Christmas cards. I would see him at Starbucks and we would catch up. I don't drive a car but if I did, I would buy one, but probably not here.

I was greeted warmly, and when I inquired if it was possible to get an oil change, and have my tires checked, the young man who greeted me said, " yes, of course". He also asked if I would be waiting, and then informed me my wait could be up to an hour, hour and a half. (He was exactly right!)After my car was brought in to the service area, and the service technician had a chance to look at my car, I was informed that I needed to replace one of my tires.(which had previously been plugged.) he examined to me that the tire was leaking and could not be re-plugged. I told him that when I leased my car, I purchased the tire warranty. He said he would check into it, which he did, came back to me and told me there would be no charge for the tire.He was extremely polite, very professional and kind. I only wish I knew his name( although he was wearing a name tag, I didn't take note) He was terrific.

Esther was amazing and patient. She was very helpful. My car was brought in for an oil change and I was going to bring it back a few days later for a recall but she immediately spoke to whoever she needed to and tried to accommodate everything in one sitting. I got a little annoyed towards the end b/c the tire I asked to be looked at was still losing air when I went to pick it up, but she again looked into it and despite my annoyance, she was very calm, collected and helpful which I really appreciated. Yes, you read it right. This is my first purchase of a new automobile. Like everything new, I researched a plethora of information both on make/model as well as how to go about dealing with the sales side. For example, exactly what a lease is, correct ways to finance, how to negotiate, so on and so forth. Turns out there was a lot of negative information regarding auto sales, specifically sales staff. This had me a bit concerned. Although, I wasn't too worried. I figured now a days, most individuals are very needy and I myself am the complete opposite. As I walked in I was greeted by the staff and was quickly met by a sales associate. We began discussing what I was looking for and before you knew it we were out by the car going for a test drive. By the way it was a 2015 Black Dodge Charge RT Road and Track. So yea I was sold immediately after driving. In a few minutes we began talking numbers, advantages, and disadvantages of both finance and lease. The initial numbers due to my lack of credit, probably due from college and not owning a car, were very high for my budget. So simply she asked what I would like to spend and or put down. Within the next few minutes she returned with a smile saying they are working out something and it is looking very positive. I met with a financial expert, I use that term because she most qualified, experienced and professional. We looked at a few different options (leasing vs financing payments) and different cars. Before I knew it I was walking out with the very car I test drove, the exact make, model, type, color, payment, budget, you name it. Besides a few quirks on myside, like not having the title of the car I was trading, or a certified check, it was seamless and painless. So next time someone tells you buying a car is an all-day event, with back and forth negotiating tell them to buy a car in there budget :), or at least be reasonable. At Garden City Chrysler Jeep Dodge, nothing was rushed. Everyone was very professional, kind, curious and respectful. They went out of their way to make sure I left with what I came in for. Even if I wasn't able to afford that specific make, they were happy to make certain adjustments so that I dont walk away ashamed or upset. Thank you Garden City Chrysler Jeep Dodge for making my first auto purchase one that I will ember in positive light. Now stop reading this and go buy a car!

Everyone, from my phone inquiry, to the service rep, to the mechanics, was incredibly friendly, speedy, knowledgeable, and informative. Not a single person ever made me think I was a bother, or that they were overwhelmed and unwelcoming to my multiple questions. I never felt as if they were rushing me or anxious to move to a different task; explanations were always thorough. Everyone seemed happy to be working there---as a general vibe! Other service departments in other dealerships can come off as dismissive and less accommodating, as if they can barely squeeze you into their workload.

i had been looking for a Renegade with particular options for some time on cars.com. I found the car advertised on cars.com by Garden City and contacted them through the website. Although Garden City's website listed the car as "in transit", I was assured by a number of people there (twice in writing by email) that the website was out of date and the car was available. I was even told that they had reduced the price. I was asked on several occasions to come and take a test drive in it. When I arrived at the dealer, sales tried to interest me in a another vehicle before finally admitting they did not have the car. When I became angry and asked for an explanation, I was told that I had been speaking to "someone in another buliding". As this explanation did not seem plausible, I asked again for an explanation and was told something like "the car is not here, what are you gonna do?". I believe that the sales people who had contacted me knew the car had not yet arrived, but wanted to get me to come in anyway so they could try to sell me something else. No one from the dealership has since reached out to apologize or provide an explanation.

Went to Garden City Jeep Chrysler Dodge to shop with a friend for a new car. The showroom and outdoor space had a good amount of cars and variety. We were helped by Blair G. who was very knowledgeable and patient. Blair listened to my friend's needs and worked hard to tailor a deal that could accomodate my friend's budget. I'm not sure about how well the service portion of the dealership performs. The reviews are causing a bit of reluctance to move forward in the process. Reassurance of good quality with the service portion might have an impact on the final decision.

If you have time to waste this is the place for you! If you don't mind making a appointment and ordering parts and getting there and finding out after TWO hours NO ONE ordered your part this is the place for you. If you like then coming back to find out they Only have the tire and NOT the rim and send someone to the next town to pick it up and after another HOUR (now making THREE hours here) and he is still NOT back this is the place for you!! Have fun and bring a library with you because you probably can read every bookin it start to finish. On a positive they will apologize every time you get up to see what the hell the problem is! Don't be fooled by the FAST oil change sign that two at the least takes 2hrs. I'd rather pay more then their $8 oil change. I WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE to buy or service ALL BECAUSE OF THE MESS OF A OPERATION THEIR SERVICE DEPT IS. Ps I didn't want to give it a star but they wouldn't take none

Just bought a 2011 Dodge Durango Crew (from Garden City Jeep) w/ 6 cy. engine , Leather powered seats , sunroof , navigation & backup camera....40k mi, a real beauty , clean car fax & one owner. Traded in my 2007 Durango SLT w/ 113k mi & got a really good trade in on the newer 2011. Eric in sales was really good answering all my questions on the phone & in person.. holding this SUV for a few days until I could make the 2 & 1/2 drive down from upstate New York. The Durango Crew has plenty of power for me with the 6cy ,,I don't plan on towing. Things took a little longer then I thought they would but it was worth every minute. I've been driving Durangos since 1998 when they were called the Ram Charger & this Durango Crew is the best one that I have ever owned. Drives & handles great , plenty a room with the back seats down to carry equipment. I knew what I was looking for & researched this 2011 Crew for two months.....other dealers were asking more money for a Durango Crew with more miles then this one. I found Garden City Jeep to be the best deal around.

They sold me a used car and did not follow through on things like car manual, extra key and sold me a car that died a week later. Then charged me to fix it (computer problem). btw-.. watch all the extra charges after they give you a price...they add up A LOT. Mine came out to $2,600 in extra misc charges. They do it when you agree and ready to pick up the car after you give them the down payment. I would have walked away but needed a car for work and invested too much time researching the car. Just be careful.

Went in on a Saturday and it was very busy. My wife and I only waited about 5 minutes and Mike Puglisi introduced himself. Mike is a very nice guy who took the time to listen to what we were looking for. We had already seen Durangos at another dealer but that dealer did not move too much from the MSRP. Mike worked out the price with us and we left a deposit. A few days later we came back to pick up the Durango and all went well. Tom set up the financing and got us a great rate. Overall it was a very good experience. My buying experience was fine, but the service department is horrible. Save yourself the trouble and don't buy a car here in the first place. My husband and I were given a "we owe" for tires. That sounds nice, except twice we were told they were ordered and twice when the service appointment came.... no tires. Just a waste of time. No true apologies just a lot of "not my fault". Someone should take responsibility. No one cares now that the sale is over and the commission has been received. A whole lot of "sucks to be you."

Leased a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland on 11/30/13 for 3 1/2 year lease. At second service the truck was in for two recalls and an oil change. At conclusion of service, was about to drive away and noticed damage to the door. Called the service manager over who immediately admitted it was caused by the dealership (as the car was pristine when it arrived) and he promised to take care of it. I made sure he knew from the start I would not be using their body shop, I wanted it fixed at my body shop so I could control the quality and assure I would not be charged excess wear and tear at conclusion of lease. Metallic black paint cannot simply be touched up or compounded. I don't know if just the door has to be repainted or if the entire side has to be repainted so it matches. Why did I have to catch the damage just before I drove away? Why wasn't I informed that it was damaged by the service representative? If I drove away, it would have been my responsibility. The service manager had to be chased down a few times because he was not returning calls. When he came to phone, he finally says that my body shop is asking more for the repair of the damaged than the dealer's body shop. I asked him to call and work it out with my body shop, as I knew my body shop was reasonable. The sales manager is refusing to say what his body shop is asking or fax a copy of the estimate he supposedly got. He also failed to call my body shop to get him to match what his body shop is allegedly willing to do it for. Is it $25 for a touchup and compound or $500 for repainting the door ? My body shop says he can consider matching the dealer's body shop but does not know what he is competing with. This was a month ago. Service manager refused to return calls and I then tried to get the sales manager to intervene. He promised to call me back twice and has not. why do I have to chase them to get compensated for the damage it admits it caused? Why do I have to spend so much of my time chasing this? I then tried Jeep, the corporation. Jeep refuses to intervene, saying its between me and the dealership, even though the dealership is hijacking the Jeep brand image and experience with the product. Jeep (the corporation) claims I have to have it fixed with the dealership if I want a warranty on the repair. I don't want a warranty on the repair...I want it fixed so that it is done right and so I don't get charged excess wear and tear. Dealership has to pay me and compensate me for the damage it caused. I have no obligation to fix it whether its through their body shop or not.

We stopped by only to look at a Grand Cherokee and walked out with the car instead. Lex was very helpful and made the experience a good one. We weren't negotiating but Lex engaged us in the dance to entice us into making a sale. It wasn't overly high pressure and I think Lex believed we were posturing to make a deal rather than actually trying to leave. In the end, a very fair deal was offered and we decided it was worth jumping into. We shook hands on the details and Lex promised his hand shake was good (some of the details were not on the sales bill). When we met with the finance manager, there was a discrepancy. We quickly got a hold of Lex and he straitened out the matter. That made us very happy.

I recently had a horrible experience at Garden City Jeep. I had a morning appointment for my 2014 Jeep to be serviced, dropped it off earlier than my scheduled time and at 3pm my car had not been touched yet for service. The answer I received when I called and finally spoke with someone on the 4th phone was "we were backed up today" My advice would be to not make as many appointments in one day or instead of having two receptionists and at least 5 service advisers and tons of other people walking around and checking their phones in between them moving cars maybe Garden City Jeep would run a little more efficiently. I have worked as a manager in the service industry for the past 8 years and I cant imagine treating customers with disregard . Jeep is a great truck and this service department should really stand behind their trucks. Not to mention that all 3 Jeeps in my house came from this dealership. Not happy. I went there to haggle about the price I saw on-line, It was a 2012 Chrysler 300c. I liked the price I saw, but I thought I should try and make it better. I was introduced to a salesman by the name of Jad. Pretty nice guy, this man named Jad. He is a very patient and even tempered guy. Be very leary of purchasing any additional or extended service plans. I made that mistake paid an additional 1800 + dollars after the sales rep told me " anything that comes up, bumper to bumper is covered. " He conveniently failed to mention the long list of items that are not covered, and the fact that if it is not covered than neither is the rental / courtesy car. I found out first hand the hard way that what you are told the day you purchase the vehicle, and what you are told the day you need to utilize the service department are absolutely not one and the same. Find another dealer, or be certain all aspects are fully explained before you dole out any extra money.

I called into Garden City Chrysler and left a message. Mr. Ken Skeen called me back promptly to help me with questions about a Chrysler 300. I was not able to give Ken a certain time for an appointment and just showed up. Even though I had no appointment, Ken still took the time out to take me to his storage lots to see the 300 I was interested in. After doing some numbers and giving me answers to my questions, I explained that I had to think about it. Ken did not pressure me into a sale and that is what brought me back to him. I went in to see Ken about a Jeep Wrangler for my daughter. She didnt feel safe in her Camaro with the snow. Ken listened to what she wanted and showed her how to save money. After several lousy experiences negotiating with other (non-Jeep) dealerships, car shopping had become something my husband and I dreaded. When we went into Garden City Jeep, we were reluctant to get involved in any conversations with the salespeople. Yet we were greeted by Ari Entes, who, in a very pleasant, polite, and non-pushy manner, offered to answer any questions for us. Our one question multiplied into many, and before we knew it, our dreaded car shopping outing turned into fun! Ari promised us there would be no stress during the negotiation of numbers, and thank goodness he made good on that promise. During the beginning of our discussion with Ari, we made him aware that we had seen offers in Newsday from Westbury Jeep (I had the Newsday with us). When the time came to talk pricing, he asked me for the ad. Without any encouraging from us, he took it straight to his superior in order to get us a fair deal from the get-go. We were so grateful and impressed that he spared us the back-and-forth nightmare that we have always experienced in the past. Also worth noting was that initially, we walked in the dealership with the intent to purchase a car, and somewhere along the line our mindset shifted to a lease. Despite our change of heart, Ari was patient, kind, informative, and supportive. Assuming we love our new Jeep Compass, we would definitely deal with Ari and GC Jeep again! My husband and I went into Garden City Jeep and we were greeted by Ken Skeen. He had a big smile and was ready to help. He gave us our space to look around first and was ready for us when we had questions. After answering all my questions on the Jeep Compass, he explained the process of getting the best payment. Ken went through the numbers with us with no hassel. He made us feel like we were at a family get together rather than in a dealership. We laughed so hard that I started tearing. The next day, Ken had my new Jeep Compass clean adn filled with gas. He paired my phone and showed me the functions of the Jeep. After giving my husband and I big hugs, he asked if we had any further questions. He also explained that if i have any questions in the future, not to hesitate to give him a call. I went in for a Jeep Grand Cherokee with certain equipment that I could not find anywhere else. Ken took the time to explain the different packages and was able to find one that was coming in from the factory. He was thorough with the explanation of the numbers and what all the steps were. When a competitor (down the block) we had bought 2 cars and leased a third from gave us a hard time leasing another car, GC Chrysler came through. Salesman Lex Rose went above and beyond with showing us different models in the rain and made the experience trouble free. We went in for two vehicles. When we walked into the dealer, Ken came up to us and greeted us with a big smile. He was able to answer our questions and explain the difference between different car models. Not only di we purchase a new 2014 Durango but also a pre owned Honda. I went in with a lot of questions about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Ken took the time out to explain the different features in all the models. Horrible experience. Found a car on cars.com for a price I liked. Knowing that dealers can add fees I immediately asked what fees they add on. The response was that there was a dealer fee and no mention of other fees. After a long period of time of discussion about items such as financing and trade in we get to the final number, which manages to be $2k more. The salesman then drops that there were certain rebates I didn't qualify for (no disclaimer that the car included all available rebates in the listing). Of course, this could have been brought up right away without wasting a huge amount of my time. Long story short, salesman continued to try to sell at the inflated price, asked what it would take for me to buy the car, response being to sell at the price advertised. Since that was never going to happen I walked away with no car and with significant time wasted.

We went to three different Dodge Dealerships on Long Island and this one was by far the best. It has average facilities but the staff is very friendly and will go above and beyond for you. Our salesman Ken Skeen was wonderful, very knowledgable and so patient with us. Went looking for a new SUV, and stopped into Garden City Jeep. The salesman Ken Skeen welcomed us, and took us through a no nonsense car buying process. After reviewing all our options and agreeing to a price point, we were shown the most beautiful 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado, and took it for a spin. What a great experience I had at this dealership. I was looking for a used Grand Cherokee and had shopped around at other dealers. I went in and spoke to Eric Ramos about buying a car there. He was a great salesperson and a pleasure to work with. He asked me what I was looking for and explained all of the options that were available. We then went out on a test drive and he showed me all of the different options that the car comes with. I then spoke to the finance manager. Her name was Allison Starkman and she also took the time to go over and explain how everything works, my options and also got me the best possible rate since I had an idea of what I should expect. We were shopping for a Certified Pre-owned Chrysler Town & Country for about 2 weeks. We spoke to James Horvat at Garden City Jeep's pre owned sales dept and are very glad we decided to go see him. He had the vehicle we asked about and he was straight forward with the pricing and financing. The van was ready the next day and our payments were spot on! i recently went into garden city jeep to shop a pre-owned grand cherokee. i was dealing with the salesperson James who was more than helpful with the whole process. I had a 2003 grand cherokee to trade which every dealer i feel was low balling me until one of the managers Chris appraised my car and beat everyone else's number, i was very happy. after all the numbers were done i felt it was the right deal and left a deposit. When it came down to picking up the car the process was as smooth as anything. Went over all the paper work then james showed me my car and answered all of my many questions. Abdual my salesman was great , but when i saw allison (in finance) she did an awesome job... i saw the reviews here and was VERY skeptical because of the notes... they did ask me to finance which i was going to anyway (my credit union) so i said they had to be close if not exactly the same and they were able to get me 2.9........ works for me thanks again- there is one negative they have NO PARKING, AND NO SIGNS... abdual said they are renovating thats why there are no signs

I went to the dealer because I found online the car I was looking for at a good price. The salesman Matt was very friendly and polite to me and my wife. The car was very clean and in great condition. The only thing I did not like was the term of months the car was financed by the bank. The buyer shall have the option to decide how many months you want to pay the loan. With excellent credit I want finance the car for 48 months, but the finance manager indicated that he will raise the price of the car if we did not sign the loan for 72 months. I drove 3 hours to get there to buy that car, my wife love the car and did not want to return without it. So I ended up accepting its terms. Would I buy another car with the same dealer? Maybe not, until these things change,

In my honest opinion everyone was professional and respectable. But when it came down to the buying process when your one on one with the representative.. that's where it all came falling apart. I came in today thinking i would get a charger for the discounted price that was offered. but what they told me was that offer was only for lease.. no where in the ad did it say that price was for a lease. Lying about the ad and what else would they start lying about. The car i was looking at was about 28000. I know the taxes and dealer fees.. but i was not expecting it to be 13,000 more dollars for the car. I left knowing now that they are the biggest ripoffs ever. Never will i come back there again!

I see a lot of bad reviews for Garden City Jeep, but they all seem to be on the used side of the dealership. I bought new and had a fantastic experience. Everyone was helpful, encouraging, approachable, friendly, knowledgable, and willing to help my family during a crisis (we were left car-less during Hurricane Sandy). They went above and beyond and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy new. From the sales side to the finance side I was left extremely satisfied. If you're looking for a salesman, ask for Adam. He was fantastic. On the finance side, Tom was so helpful I'm tempted go to him for other non-auto related finance questions.

well the best experince in my car buying life i walked into garden city jeep preown show room and i was greeted by one of the nicest sale,s person abdul he help me to the car that siut,s my need,s as a mother of 3 boys under 12 yrs old abdul help and explained to why buying a mini van was the best way to go i was set on buying an suv but iam so happy with my minivan and can,t wait to take it on our first road trip thank a million great place to buy a car from thanks again

The service was bad, I had been lied to about everything from down payments to trade ins 5 interest rates .After getting the run around I cancelled the deal that was taking upwards to three weeks and went somewhere else that took only one day .I was not given a refund on my deposit or even notified about it .After hearing bad news about this dealership I decided to take a chance anyway and still go but realized that the two people I spoke to were right : salesmen were rude and unhelpful, no car on their lot is worth the trouble .
