I went to Garvey because back in 1994, I went in with my friend who bought a Jetta there and the experience was so great (even as just a bystander) that I have always remembered it and recommended them to others. Why haven't I purchase a car there myself since then you ask? Well, my first brand new car in 1996 was a Honda Del Sol which Garvey didn't sell and that was the car I wanted. My second car in 2004 was a Toyota Matrix and I did shop Garvey that time looking at a Hyundai Accent, but the Toyota dealer gave me more car for the money at the time so I went with them (That Toyota dealership has gone downhill since then in my opinion). But the Garvey experience was still great even though I did not buy there that time. That Matrix ended up being a great car and lasted a long time, but now I wanted a Kia Soul. We ended up dealing with Matt Frye. Matt is very new to selling cars and though he is still learning all the ins and outs of the models and features available, he is very honest about that which is refreshing. Any questions we asked that he wasn't sure about were not met with false answers as some sales people like to do. Matt took the time to go and find the answer for us so that we had the correct information. Matt put no pressure on us and spent a ton of time with us while we were deciding what to do and did a great job helping us get the pricing we were looking for. We ended up meeting Larry the service manager, Martin the finance manger and Lee the sales manager among others during our two days there and we were totally impressed with all of them. Each one taking time and going out of their way to help us with our needs. I never shopped for another price at another dealership and this is the first time that's ever happened. Could I have squeezed a few more dollars out of my monthly payments if I shopped more? Maybe, but there is a value to great service and we got excellent pricing on my Kia Soul and even better pricing on my wife's new Kia Sorrento which we leased the day after leasing the Soul. I can't say enough about this dealership! Highly recommended. Time will tell about the Kia vehicles as these our our first Kia's, but first impressions are fantastic. Matt Frye is an excellent, no pressure salesperson and if you're serious about a new Volkswagen or Kia, go see Matt and tell him Joel Glastetter sent you.

I went in to get 2 factory recalls taken care of and one for new valve stems ,everything went fine or so I thought and 4 days later thinking all was fine with my care, My wife left with the car and doing yard work I noticed something in the driveway and found it was one of my Lug nuts so when My wife got home I notice 2 was off of the same tire and getting the lug wrench I noticed all the rest was barely tight ,so I will be very nervous taking my car back to them again.

Stopped at garvey kia thinking it was a different car dealer. Nate greeted us we explained we are looking for a different dealer. He told me were the dealer was located and then offered for me to look around. I found some vehicles that i liked Nate informed me of all the info on each car. Nate's knowledge and excellent customer svc won my business and help get a car that i love.

I went into dearlership to purchase a new kia sportage worked out a deal that i thought was good and when i went to pick the car up the deal they quoted me was not the same they would not work with me but said they could lease me the vehicle didnot want to lease and buiness manager was rude i would sugest getting your own financing before going there. very rude people and dont tell the truth.

Bought a certified 2013 Kia two weeks after got the car wife had flat tire.she called me to change tire open truck no jack or spare tire called dealer was told spare and jack are not standed equment that car comes with a roadside tire kit it was not in certified car I bought they would have it towed for free to their shop and patch it free of charge or put new tire on if tire was shot for charge that's fine. They have tow truck come get it that's about 2 1/2 hours ok that's fine ( if car had the roadside kit in it I would be home 2 hours ago) tow truck hooks cable on car and load it up and away he goes the garveys lot the flat was at about 3 in the after noon. About 7 garveys shop called ask me where the car is they are closing and the cars not their they are closing won't be able to fix till next day that's fine. Get a call from service deptment in the morning rudely wants to know where the cars for the car are it's in the middle of their lot and the want it moved! ( don't know they had it towed ask your tow truck guy not me) If the car had the roadside kit in it the car would not be in your lot! I called the tow company they said the put the keys in night drop call Garvey back and tell them what the two guy said they say nope no keys in night drop. It's noon now service guy wants key to pull car inside to fix flat tire we are at about 18 hours now ( if car had roadside kit we wound my be here ) " hey service guy have a tec roll a jack out to the car and jack it up and take the tire off and fix it" ya after lunch that's what we will do. 2 pm call from service guy called tire is shot needs a new tire but cannt get a match today I do have same size but it's a diffent tread . That this point I would take a bike tire to get the car back so yes put the tire on I will come with the extra key and get my car 3pm call car is done 24hours real pit crew cost $150+- new oddball tire$25+- routate tires so oddball tire is in the back of car$50 new post office key lost$100 new locks on house keys lost$200 new locks on other car keys lostCall Kia the are paying for new keys for this car very understanding but each deal ship is independently owned and Kia cannt tell them what to do it's up to the dealer. After this flat tire and the way I was treaded I will never have anything to do with them again and would warn anyone to stay away

I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from Garvey Kia. I have always felt very comfortable dealing with the folks at Garvey in spite of the fact that, generally speaking, I do not enjoy the car buying experience. I never feel pressured or harassed when I deal with Garvey. They have always followed through with everything. The fabulous warranty offered by Kia is a nice benefit as well. I will be visiting my friends at Garvey when I'm ready for my next vehicle!

I have never enjoyed the dance involved in purchasing vehicles. Apparently, neither does Garveys salesman Martn Kunath. He is the most genuine and straight forward car salesman I have ever had the PLEASURE of doing business with. I can say with certainty that I will be a loyal customer of his, and that I appreciate his willingness to do whatever it takes to make sure I am a happy customer!!! Everyone we came in contact with at this dealership were very friendly. We felt no pressure, and were able to take as much time as possible to ask questions or make choices. The salesman (Adam) always kept us updated on the process and was very friendly. We found a great vehicle (more than what we expected), and the associates at this dealership worked very hard to make us happy and assure us we would have the vehicle when planned, even when an issue arose that would stall the process. Right from entering the parking lot on how clean everything looked to a very friendly professional greeting. We recently purchased a 2009 Kia Rio-5. The car has turned out to be all that we expected...very good. The sale itself went smoothly. We got both the car and warranty for a reasonable price.As for the staff at Garvey/Kia...they are not the warmest people. Having two other Kia's, I've frequented this dealership numerous times. My wife and I get the same feeling each time. They are cold! Otherwise...Garvey provides a good product/service (though it lacks a warm smile).

Needed to down size to a smaller vehicle and smaller monthly payment. I called Tom about 5 days prior to make an appointment with him. When I got there he had already worked up some numbers and was ready to help me get a new car that I could afford. I ended up buying a 2013 Kia Soul, this was my 7th car that I had bought from Tom and my 9th from Garvey. Tom is an excellent salesmen, and he listens to what you need in a car and helps you get into that car....I'm sure that this will not be my last car that I buy from Tom.

Everyone was pleasant. Service was pretty quick. Andrew went above and beyond to work with us on the paperwork for the trade in. I felt like both he and the "finance guy" were above board. There were a couple of spots in the used car that we bought that could have used some more cleaning. We were also hoping to get a deal on four new snow tires as the car we traded had $600 worth of new tires on it, but we didn't.

Tom Belden was a real pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to get us the best deal on a 2013 Kia Optima SX. We drove 55 miles just to work with him. I havenever dealt with a dealership or a salesman at a car dealership and been so satisfied.They were private, personable, friendly and willing to work with me to get me a new car I could afford. My salesman was absoutely amazing he made car shopping worth the trip. He was extremely informative and right on with meeting my husband and i's needs. He was able to work with me well even though i kept having to call my husband who is an over the road truck driver. He was able to give me all the right prices for my trade in along with the new car. He was very personable, made the whole things very easy and painless. It is my first new car and without him i would have settled with some used car, which is fine but to be able to get into my first new car was an amazing feeling. Even the salesman next to Claude was friendly and struck up a conversation with me.

I traded in my 2010 kia forte that I purchased at another dealer 2 years ago. I did all my servicing at garvey. Was very pleased with the service dept. I just decided I wanted to trade it for a 2012 was waiting for one to come in but there was a delay in delivery so I talked with Andrew about a Optima instead of a Forte. He came up with figures I was happy with it was in stock & I am very happy with it. Andrey was a pleasure to work with. I usually trade in my vehicle in within 2 or 3 years & when I do I will def do it at Garvey & will have Andrew as my sales person He is the best & sociable sales person that I have delt with over the years & 16 cars later.

Claude went out of his way to make sure I was happy. He was very personable and great to deal with. It was a challenge to get me into a new/used vechicle but he made it happen!! I got a great car at a great price. I will be going back there in the future. And will be recomending him to anyone I know buying a car.

This was my first car and I fell in love with it the moment I got there. I was a bit nervous however because a car is a big deal but I have to say Garvey was so helpful it made everything so much easier.I had gotten a call from Andrew to go and test drive, and after I did I was hooked immediately, Andrew was so helpful and so polite he really made buying my first car and experience and I would recommend both him and Garvey to anyone and everyone I know.

This dealership Garvey Kia is the best place to buy a car new or used.. The salesperson we had Claude Middleton was the greatest person to buy a car from. Very professional and not pushy in anyway to get you to buy. Excellent experience. We love our new Kia Soul.. Next time we buy again we will be back..

Claude was wonderful to deal with. We didn't expect to find the car we wanted in such a short time. He was very pleasant, not at all pushy and told us he would hold the car for us when we told him we were definitely interested in the Sorento. He also saved us a trip by working a deal over the phone for our trade-in.Claude is someone you immediately feel comfortable with and this was important to us. The purchase of the vehicle went very smooth. Claude took the time to bring us over to the service and parts department and we met Jason Wade who we were also impressed with. He is a young man with knowledge beyond his years and has excellent interpersonal skills.Claude has followed up with us to check on how things are going and is always professional, courteous and willing to help.We highly recommend this dealership and Claude Middleton who is a class act.We will return to Kia Garvey for all of our service work and future purchases.

The slightly lower score wasn't Claude's fault but the use of a new computer system for inputting info. There was also another snafu as our 2nd key to our new car was lost and now we have to drive (162 miles roundtrip) back up to the dealership. But these things happen and all in all, it was a good deal with a good sales rep at a Volvo dealer. Yeah, we'll go back & see them next year when I need a new car.

My wife and I usually get our 2008 Kia Optima serviced in our hometown in Arizona. In Arizona we bring the car in and the car is taken care of. We take our car to any Kia dealership and get the same great service, until we took our car into Garvey. We had to pay for the diagnostic test, which was understandable. They found the antifreeze leak at the upper section of the lower radiator hose. They double hose clamped it and topped off the coolant. I checked the coolant level and it was the same as when I brought it in below low. The gas tank valve is bad, since we have an extended warranty, which can be used anywhere at any dealership, Andy at Garvey requested I contact my extended warranty and get authorization from the company n Arizona. So I took his advice and called. The company answered and explained that they cannot send me the monies to repair personally. The dealership needs to call and get authorization for verification of the repair. Prior I had given Andy all the information to do so. I called Andy back the same day I brought the car in for service, which was Wednesday and He said He would call the company and get verification. I left a message o his voicemail following Monday. I called him on Tuesday and He still suggested I call the extended warranty company to get authorization. The extended warranty company said they would gladly pay the dealership for the repairs, so why is Garvey dragging their feet? No return calls or solving the repair issues is bad customer service the dealership will be rated for.

After going to 2 other dealerships and feeling very frustrated, Dave made it a wonderful experience. Getting me $500 more for my trade within 10 minutes of being there, where the "humungo" dealer took 2 hours to not do much. I have bought many cars in my time, and this is the BEST experience I have had, hands down!

I bought a Kia Soul, base model, and I was not told during the sale discussion that the car did not have a spare donut nor a jack. I found out on my own two weeks later that what it had was a 'Mobility Kit' to inflate only certain flats (and this supposedly happened without a jack), and some flats would not be able to be inflated, so basically, I would find myself stranded. If I had known it did not have a spare, I would have included that into the sale discussion.KUDOS TO GARVEY KIA.........THEY HAVE CORRECTED THE ABOVE SITUATION.........A few weeks ago, at a local tire store, I had purchased a wheel and tire as a spare for my new Soul, so that I had one in the car, with an old jack I had. Yesterday, Garvey Kia, reimbursed my for the total cost of the wheel and tire spare, and they gave me a new jack for the Soul. They couldn't have been nicer to me, and I certainly would recommend them to anyone!

I had been emailing Andrew for many months about a Kia Soul I was interested in. He kindly offered me information as I requested it and did not pressure me to buy. When I did go in he stayed after closing to work with me. He let me test drive and see a few different models and got me pricing and information on them all. When I decided on the one I wanted he gave me a price, which I told him was more than I wanted to pay. He response was very friendly, he said "Make me an offer and I'll see what I can do." I told him what I was willing to pay, he spoke with his sales manager and came back to me giving me the price I wanted. I also got an incredible trade in value for my 12 year old vehicle! Working with Andrew was great, he didn't have that typical car salesman attitude. Very friendly, very little pressure.We worked with Nick to take care of the financing. Nick was very friendly, though slightly eccentric. He did pressure me a little to get some extra warranties like the rust/paint/interior package. I told him I didn't need it, he offered me to do just the paint portion for me to reduce the price. I said no again because I thought it was still too overpriced. After saying no again, he pulled out some coupons and offered a price that was $250 less than what he originally quoted me. At that price, I agreed. Lesson here: don't agree right away because everything is marked up a LOT and they are selling to try to make their commission. Don't let them scare you into things by saying "what ifs". Know what you really need and always make them reduce the price before you agree.Overall a fantastic experience with them and I would highly recommend Andrew to those interested in a new car!

This was the smoothest car deal we have ever had. The salesperson was patient and knowledgable, the sales manager was willing to work with us and the finance manager spent time explaining everything along with giving us options. What a great experience I had purchasing a new Kia Soul! J P Garvey was tremendously helpful, friendly, patient, and low-key--no hard-sell here. He helped me find ways to save money and managed to get a car on lot for me two weeks earlier than promised. When it came time for the 30-day service, he went the extra mile, driving me to a shopping center so I wouldn't have to sit around waiting, and later even carrying my shopping bags to my beautifully washed car. Even though the dealership is a half-hour drive from my home, I won't mind at all going to get the car serviced. It's a pleasant place to hang out and the people are great. They have a strong reputation in this area for being service-oriented, and it is well deserved. And I love my car!

Everyone at Garvey was great. Everyone from my salesman Devin McNamara to the sales manager and the finance manager were fantastic. I live outside the area and did most of my business over the phone with them. Devin always stayed in touch and gave me updates when they got a Soul in. Thanks for such a pleasant buying experience. If my next vehicle is a Kia or Volkswagon I will do business with them again.

Great experience at Garvey Kia. Devin, JP, Lee and Nick were helpful and worked with me on all aspects of the purchase. They also gave me a good price on my trade. As I live a distance from the dealer I only had to make one trip before I picked up my new Sportage. Through a few phone calls and one fax everything was taken care of. Devin was great to deal with and Nick was able to get me a lower interest rate than I expected on the financing. Highly recommend!

Tom, Lee, Russ and all the sales people are so very helpful, professional as well as knowledgeable that they make the sales experience a good buying experience. The service people also get the job done right the first time. The parts people are extremely good as well. I can't think of a bad thing to say about Garvey. Good product, good service and quality sales experience that makes you feel good when it's all said and done. I always feel comfortable through the whole process and never "taken".
