The work on the Transmission fluid and filter was great-and I wouod definitely recommend the service department to others.... As far as the ealership goes, ia would NOT recommend. I bought my truck there and there was an issue with the title, no one bothered to tell me it was a lost title and it took forever for me to get it!!! I buy, fix and sell vehicles and I lost a profit on thi one, due to being lied to on the title status... I called to speak to the General Manager, whi proceeded to explain the dealerships legalities, instead of taking ownership of the concern. Because of the GMs attitude and uncaring attitude- I would NOT RECOMMEND YOUR DEALERSHIP as a place to buy a vehicle. I have also told everyone of the 400 plus people that I work with and warned them against a purchase at this location. To bad his service was not near as good as the Service departments was....

Great dealership friendly staff. Bought my truck there won't go anywhere else. Service department is great as well. My oil changes are quick I do not have to wait long. The management is great especially Efren. And our salesmen Jeremy Bell was great as well!!

We live just outside Amarillo and did not have any luck trying to talk to a dealer in Amarillo that had a Camaro I would be interested in. I had seen one on the Gene Messer site online like what I was wanting so I decided to call and talk to them. Jeremy Lucio was very friendly, helpful, and professional each time I spoke with him. When we came down to look at the car and put a down payment on it, I asked Jeremy if there was a possibility we could take it home that night. Jeremy and Luis who handled the financing and paperwork stayed to almost 10 pm. that night, but we left in our new Camaro. After we returned home, we realized we had left a garage door opener and a CD in our trade-in and Gene Messer Chev. promptly mailed them to us. I returned the following Saturday, one week after we purchased the Camaro for the Resistall application on the interior and exterior of the vehicle and were treated great. The job was done promptly and professionally by a young man by the name of Gene. Very happy with our experience and would recommend Gene Messer Chevrolet to anyone.

One of the best car buying experiences I've had. I don't do well when given too many options - I panic. I selected two vehicles to consider and when I arrived at the dealership (after doing most of the "paper" work via phone)I drove each of the two and in a very short time I made my decision - the Equinox was going home with me. Everyone was very friendly and courteous.

John in the service dept. handled all my needs, he was very professional, and made sure I was satisfied. He was prompt with the courtesy drive home. The gentlemen that drove me home after dropping my vehicle off were very personable, making the drive comfortable. My recalls were fixed very quickly, both within a day. The only thing I could see that you might improve on, would be possibly a courtesy vehicle for customers without another vehicle to use while theirs is in the shop getting repaired. Thank you for attending to my HHR's needs and treating her with the utmost respect.

I took my 2006 Pontiac G6 for Warrantied recall service, on the first go-around I set an appointment that was not kept in the system. Upon arriving I had to set up another date and time. When arriving the second time I was kindly greeted by a rep and asked for an inspection for the vehicle as well. After service was completed I was shown paperwork and also inquired about the inspection which was not performed, but was encouraged to have a seat in the lounge. After all services was completed I was Thanked and showed to my car. Gene Messer does really well with their services even though some mistakes are made.

2015 Silverado LT Z71 4x4 Our salesman was Magdil(Sammy) and he was not pushy and he allowed us to call him when we were ready and that is the kind of salesperson I like to deal with. Any question we had he had an answer and didn't have to go ask someone else. Any issue we had during our purchase process he resolved it all the way to the close of the deal. Finance folks took care of our needs and sold us only what we wanted. I have already started talking to Sammy for the purchase of a vehicle for my son and I am confident he will take care of business. Thanks to the Gene Messer Staff ! Job Well Done ! We will drive from Hobbs for all of our maintenance and repairs simply because we trust the service we will receive will be Excellent. Our purchase was only a trip to get our oil changed and we purchased a new truck and I don't have any regrets !

Purchased an F-150 that had a bad tire sensor. Dropped off the truck before heading out of town on businesses. They replaced the sensor, detailed my truck and had everything ready when I returned from my trip. Great customer service and the process was painless.

Took my sons 2011 truck in to have service repair on front end decided to wait on repairs too expensive as they were bring truck out of service dept they damaged it service manager agreed to fix any damages they did but the GM Micheal came out was very ugly and tacky talking about how we were dumb and talked down to my son and my 70 year old mother witnessed this all he was very disrespectful!!!!!! He would not shake my moms hand after she asked to just for the to fix what the service dept had damaged Poorest excuse for a GM we've ever seen !!!!! Will never do business here again and will tell all our friends about how poorly we were treated !!!!!

We had a great experience with Gene Messer purchasing a 2015 Tahoe. We left feeling like we had received a fair deal on a new vehicle and our sales representative (Cody) was extremely knowledgeable about all of the features and was able to immediately answer any questions we had. The paperwork process took longer than expected, but I believe this was likely due to it being Labor Day. Overall, we would definitely recommend this dealership!

Took my car in for warranty repair. They had an outside source perform work on my car and when I picked it up it was scratched and damaged! The manager would not take responsibility for the damages and was extremely rude! I would not recommend anyone needing warranty work or any type of work to use this dealership!!!!

Really sad to be treated so badly after buying a New car......on the first oil change the service tech did not put the oil filter back on right and oil was leaked on to undercarriage.....other problem was not looked into!

Very satisfying. The amount of time it took to determine what was wrong and to fix it was very fast. Technicians called to notify me to the source of the problems and when my Tahoe was fixed.

We are from Waco, Texas, and were traveling north toward Colorado on Christmas Eve, 2013. We had actually spent the night in Lubbock and headed out that morning about 8:30. At about half an hour out of town on 84, our 2009 Suburban made a very loud noise, lost power, and the warning lights flashed on for "reduced engine power", "stabilatrak off", and the check engine light was on. Needless to say, we were very frightened! We googled and found your dealership. James talked to us and told us to come in right away. We turned around, made it to the shop, and they put our car on the rack immediately! We were out in less than two hours, and the servicemen at the dealership could not have been more caring and helpful. They were our Christmas miracle, and we are grateful!! In addition, the dealership was so clean, stocked with snacks, and a very nice place to wait. We made it to Telluride safely with our four children and had a wonderful Christmas! Thank you, Gene Messer Chevrolet!

From the moment of calling the service appointment line to the paying and picking up my repaired vehicle everyone was just outstanding in the level of courteous service I received. the hotline which I called three different occasions, and each time the calls could not have been handled better. I really appreciated the call line. also. the service folks were courteous and professional and kept me informed and updated throughout the process. great job Gene Messer Chevy.

The e-mail about the customer appreciate weekend was what brought me in this past weekend. I called that morning to make sure I could get an appointment and they assured me that I could for an oil change and state inspection. I walked right in and was immediately assisted. I wasn't sure where my insurance card was when I got there, but the gentleman informed that if I found it they could change the ticket to include an inspection as well, but they would go ahead and start my oil change. I got my insurance information finally, and they added it to the final ticket. The whole process took a little longer than I was told, but overall my experience was great. Keep up the good work!

I had to take my car in for a fuel odor that was coming from the car. The fuel pump had a crack which was fixed under a recall that had been issued and it only took 2.5 hours from the time I took my car into the service area to get it back. That was a fast turn around for me. I was impressed with the speed that my car was fixed.

I had a wonderful experience! I was very intimidated by the fact that I am a female and I needed to buy a car. The sales representative that helped me took me very seriously and helped me get the exact car that I needed and wanted. He was very thorough in explaining processes and getting the information I needed in order to make the purchase. I loved my experience and I will definitely go back and refer friends and family.

Late on a Saturday afternoon, I went car shopping. I had been looking for a new car for about a week and was having no luck with finding the right car and the right financing. My salesman, Richard Reinmund, was friendly and professional and the rapport established exceeded the norms of a traditional one-time purchase. I bought my new 2013 chevy duramax from gene messer and have been well pleased with the whole process. i took it in for an oil change a couple of months later and I was in and out in no time even having 2 vehicles in front of my oil change. I recommend them for sales or service.
