Great experience. We worked with Ray Khan who kept us updated throughout the process. We were given a fair deal for our trade and they were able to secure us a new RDX with a rare color combination. The Gettel team was also great to work with post purchase by answering our questions and following up on open items. Also still very happy with my car a month later!

I have called the service department three times to get service pricing and to try and make an appointment. I have never received a returned call. Apparently they have enough business to not take on new customers. Updated response to the manager: Unless your phones were down for over two weeks then your response is a poorly attempted excuse. You also have my number on file. If you truly cared you would have called me yourself to apologize.

This was the second auto that I purchased from this dealership. In Nov. 2014 I purchased a 2011 TSX. Pleased with the experience so I traded it in for a 2013 TL. Searched on Internet and found a few models from 2011-2014 since it was the model styling I was looking for. I visited and found a nice 2013 w/ tech package. Negotiations went very well and got what I believe to be a great price. I know this because I was searching for these cars for about 3 wks. My only criticism was their financing. Over the phone I was told that they had .99% financing. I repeated while negotiating on the vehicle that I was expecting this rate. When I finally spoke to their finance that the best rate they could give me was 3.5%. I will eventually refinance with my Credit Union at 1.75%. Other than that I had a very good experience. I found that the dealership was willing to negotiate and I will probably do business with them again.

I bought my 2009 Honda Pilot from the used lot. I have taken it back to have different services, one is my ac stopped working I took it to them last year and they put in a new compressor. I took it back to them a few months after it was installed because the air wasn't cold it was low on freon, they recharged it and I was on my way then in April I took back because my air wasn't cold again they replaced the relay $22.00. Then in May I took it back due to my compressor not working again. I was told they would replace my compressor I would have to pay the labor. Over $200. Now in July my A/C went out again they looked it all over to try and figure out why my compressors keep going out and they tell me I need a new accumulator and a new compressor and I will have to pay over $200 again for labor and they will not warranty any of the work because the warranty is only good from the first time I purchased the compressor. I did really like this place but not after this last episode, I am over them.

The store manager gave me above price for my M Benz C300 Lisa Silvestri was excellent he she knew all the answers that I had asked the deal was unbelievable Jamie Demers Business Manager worked extra hours to do all the paper work I am a happy customer and they have won my business for life time excellent service and I got all and more than I wanted no questions asked. 10+ rating customer lounge area was clean and cool good stock of new and used car to choose from.at Gettel Acura Sarasota they know have to take care of there customers.ps no upsale at all.

I have been a customer of Gettel Acura for about 15 years now. I have owned an MDX and a TL and just this last week I purchased a new RDX. I came to the realization this last week that it was time to buy a new vehicle. I worked with Roe and it was a fantastic experience, I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. Now I must admit that I did not look at any other dealerships, I have always loved Acura and did not have any urge to consider any other. There were no high pressure sales techniques, which I absolutely hate, we took a nice long test drive of the RDX as I had never had the opportunity to drive it before. I had been given a TLX (the other model I was considering) as a loaner so I knew what that was like. Roe was very knowledgeable and explained all of the features that were new to me. The rest of the experience with the dealership, from a sales perspective, was great and went relatively quickly once I made my decision. I cannot comment on what the financing side of things at the dealership are like because that was not a service I needed. Through out the process I felt like I was treated very fairly and that I was given a fair trade-in for my vehicle. If you are in the market for a new Acura in Sarasota, I would definitely recommend Roe at Gettel Acura!

The buying experience was what you might expect. Typical up sell and high pressure. Not unusual for Acura. The problem is trying to get an answer to a service-related question. They will make an appointment without a problem,but if you just want to speak on the phone with service they will not take your calls. Voicemail options only and calls are never returned. Try it. Try the service manager too. They do not care about you once the sale is made.

This is the 3rd Acura we have either purchased or leased in the last 4 years. We love the Brand for its performance and value. All purchases have been with Gettel Acura of Sarasota. Through the past years we have always been treated well and fairly by their service department. Our reason for coming in was to get our RDX servicedWe wandered over to the new cars to see what was new, But to be completely honest, the sales part of their business has left us disappointed based on promises made, unresolved issues and lack of satisfaction UNTIL our last purchase yesterday. I grant you it is early to make a total judgement of the lease purchase as with any new purchase after only one day, BUT what happened to us yesterday has certainly changed our feelings towards the dealership. The professionalism and courtesy we were shown by your employees who, were new to us, made a distinct impression and changed us yesterday from just servicing our RDX to upgrading to a new RDX.The saleswoman Mary and her sales manager Robert spent the time fully pointing out not only the newer features and technology, but went well beyond showing us how to actually use them with patience and expertise. For the first time we came away not just enamored with the car but understanding how to get the full use of it. Finishing the sale with Jamie was just as satisfying. I want to congratulate Gettel Acura on finding these professionals and making us "satisfied" not just customers.

Bought pre-owned vehicle and was assured it had been thoroughly checked for any maintenance issues. Within just three weeks the vehicle at times would just lose power completely as I was driving down the road. At other times the steering wheel would lock up and I couldn't turn the wheel. This was especially scary when i was on interstate with my children. I decided to go to the website and enter my Vin number to check for any recalls and there were several!! So if maintenance was checked how was that missed? I called dealership and first and only thing he said was..."you should have bought the extended warranty." Not are u and your family okay? Then two months later had more repairs needed totaling $650. Six months after purchase had to jump start vehicle and purchase new battery. I have had more issues with this vehicle in just a few months than I have had in my last two vehicles that I owned for 5 years each. Also after I signed all paperwork for vehicle and I went to get in it I noticed long scratch down drivers side door that wasn't there before. They refused to fix it ... "it was my car my problem now."

LYING SALES MGR--BEWARE...i was dealing with them for 2 weeks on a car they had for 2 months on the lot..sales mgr called me and said he was sending car to the auction and i had about an hour to decide..this was on friday..i passed on the car...monday the car was still there and they raised the price from $16,300 to $21,999...wth ??? a few days later i was notified car no longer available...a few days after that (tonight) i found it at one of their other dealerships..gettel toyota...price now $19,991...the sales girl jennifer was great..to bad the mgr lied and tried to pressure me not to mention their incredible bogus $900 dealer fee and charge of $335 for e-filing and title transfer...my toyota dealer charges $150 and dealer fee $499....what a ripoff..

For the price I paid for the Acura, there should not have been a sales pitch at the end for maintenance packages that ranged from $4000 to $7000. Ridiculous!!!!! Much of the content of those packages should be complimentary. Not all, but at least oil changes. The "Auto Butler" looked like the biggest scam ever! A car wash with wax!!! $4000 ?????Happy to get basic maintenance done locally in my home town and do a wax job myself now and then. Remains to be seen how happy I am with the car but the scam at the end was not very professional. Lily and Jaime did a fine job but I am sure they are schooled by management to push the scam packages. That needs to be fixed.I did not bite.

Just bought 2016 TLX Advance 3.5L. Great car. Great buying experience with Gettel. Very low pressure. Just there to help. Didn't have the exact color I wanted and found only one in Florida. Had it on the lot the next day. Spent all the time I asked for to go through the Nav, driving, safety systems.

I have owned 3 Acuras, the last, a 2006 RL. With 190,000 on it, I still got comments like "when did you get this new car!" It is due, in great part, to Gettel's excellent service department. Especially, my service representative Roger, and my mechanic, Larry. They were the reason my wife and I went there to purchase a new 2016 RLX sports hybrid. My sales associate was Roe Elliott. An excellent sales person, Roe was very knowledgable about the vehicle and made the experience a great one. I would highly recommend Gettel Acura to anyone who was looking for a great vehicle at a good price.

Bought a used car amazing price. When car was delivered at night time the detail department did not do their job. Car was delivered with paint on the windows, a green G for Gettel. The car had a filthy interior, and tires were almost flat. There was a dent in the roof that was not noticed by myself nor the sales agent when test driving car. The tint on the rear passenger window had been ripped. I was told that the car would be detailed. I was not pleased with the shape of car when delivered. The manager looked at me like it's too late to fix because I had already signed the papers. I would not recommend this place. I will say they were friendly and the price of the car was very affordable, but their detail department might as well not even exist, for the way in which the car had been delivered was less than satisfactory.

If you need service for your Acura, deal with Roger. He knows Acura cars/SUVs. More importantly, Roger deals with people with respect and integrity. He treats all customers the same, whether you have a brand new fully loaded MDX or a 1999 MDX with 200K miles on it. This was my third time using this dealership for service and every time the car drives like new when I get it back, so I know quality workmanship is being performed. I had a Lexus prior to coming to Acura and I was spoiled by their service department's amenities, but I know that I was paying for those amenities through higher service bills. My only recommendation is that Gettel Acura tries to upgrade their waiting area, a little bit,for persons having/choosing to wait for their vehicles. Gettel should try to make their service customers more comfortable and feel more welcome by taking a cue or copying what their neighbor,Wilde Lexus, has done for their Service Department's customers.

This was my first service (oil change and tire rotation), plus "Auto Butler" wax treatment, on 2015 TLX. Everthing was excellent from phone call to schedule - through service check in - to completion. Acura dealer waiting area is excellent with large TV, coffee and cookies, computers and newspapers. We have had three Acuras before the current TLX. They were an MDX and two TLs. By the way, TLX is a terrific car, best yet. Runs great, handles great, mileage is great, safety electronics terrific. Got 35 MPG on a 250 mile highway trip yesterday. Extremely quiet and comfortable.

Bought our 2 CPO RDX's from here this year after our 2004 MDX had seen better days. Sales guys are great (Brandon and Corey). Always treated well by the sales department BUT Roger and Jeff in service are what keeps us coming back. I have over 20 years in the auto repair industry and these gentlemen treat their customers right. This is a dealership that I can send my wife to for service and not worry about her getting ripped off. Best dealership experience I have ever had in over 20 car purchases!

I'm 51 years old, and of all the vehicles I've bought in my life, this was by far the best experience. We bought a brand new 2016 MDX from Gettel Acura in Sarasota, even though we live North of Tampa. The reason was two fold - best price, and customer service BEFORE we even saw the vehicle. The backstory is that we called local Tampa area dealers. Some didn't even call back! The ones that did could not match the price from Gettel. Zack not only assured us over the phone of what he had available, but drove the vehicle up to Tampa for us to test drive it!!! (All I can say to Tampa Acura dealers is - you losers need to learn a lesson here). To be fair, we were working with a local Ford dealer and considering buying a 2015 Expedition. But to get the same or rather "similar" features that the MDX had, we would have needed to purchase a "limited" model for about 10K more!!! (and beleive it or not, we had the Ford employee "A" plan discount applied as well....it was laughable). Anyway, back to Zack and Gettel. Zack is a really respectful young man who treated us honestly, and went above and beyond to make our whole experience a pleasure. The dealership is a really nice facility, and Robert the finance manager was very easy to work with - we were in and out in about 2 hours. (I have had experiences in the past where I've been at a dealership 5-7 hours - at night - last one to leave the lot....how refreshing to see that Gettel just does what dealers should do - no BS, just great service. Now that I know what to expect from Gettel, I wouldn't blink an eye to drive 200 miles, and you can bet that my next vehicle will be from them. I bought a certified pre-owned RDX from Gettel online/over the phone and had a family member pick it up last week. The car has low mileage and is immaculate; it was priced several thousands under the TMV plus it had installed OEM external accessories worth ~$2K so I really got a good deal from them. The quality of customer service I received throughout the entire car-buying process was second to none; quotes I requested online were provided the same day and the reps who helped me (Galo and Ashley) were both top-notch professionals. Five stars across the board--I'd definitely recommend this dealership!!!

Just purchased a Cerified 2012 Acura MDX from Gettel and could not be more pleased. We dealt with a very professional salesperson in Gary Waller who handled the transaction in a very professional manner, as well as Jamie Demers, Business Manager, who handled all the paperwork, We had the opportunity to add additional accessories to our MDX and dealt with Lucy Aguilar, Assistant Service Manager. Another pleasurable experience. Lucy took care of setting up the service installation and couldn't have been more accommodating. A true professional. When my Audi finally calls it a day, I'm looking forward to adding another Acura from Gettel.

We recently bought a 2011 Dodge Durango from Gettel Acura of Sarasota as is. After I took the vehicle for a test drive and had no service lights and good car fax report for maintenance. Our sales rep preceded to tell me about the 120 point safety inspection they perform on all there vehicles. We then proceeded with the sale as if they new nothing was wrong with the vehicle. After we had the vehicle for 4 days we noticed that the fog lights blink when we use the right turn signal, and when the fogs light were turned on the right blinker would stay on with a steady light. I then took vehicle to my local mechanic, we then discovered the fog light/ blinker problem is a system of a larger problem. That can cause the vehicle to not start or even worse stall while driving down the road, losing power steering and brakes. On top of the obvious safety issue it cost approx $1200 to repair. I then proceeded to call Gettel Acura to see if there was anything they could do to help us out. And was told that no and we bought the vehicle as is. I then asked to speak to the service manger to inquire about the safety inspection. He then told me the safety inspection was stopped because of a front headlight assembly issue (blinker). And the vehicle was to be sold at auction. This information was new to me, and if I had known of this I would have looked into it further, before I purchased the Durango. I then proceed to ask for a copy of the service records and was told that they will email them to me with the safety inspection. I didn't receive that email, I then call back numerous times trying to talk to the general manager. After two days finally spoke with general manger. I explained the obvious safety issue and that the safety inspection wasn't completed, and that I still wanted the service records and safety inspection report. He proceeded to tell me that I will not be getting the service records or safety inspection. If I had known of the problems before the purchase as they did, I would have reconsidered my purchase. The general manger then told to me there is nothing they will do the help and the problem is mine. It feels to me that Gettel Acura was more interested in a quick sale and had no regards for my family or family's safety. All I wanted is the issue fixed, because I was lead to believe I was sold a vehicle that had a completed safety inspection. But that was not the case. I am very disappointed in how they handled this matter. Very nice and polite while we were buying the Durango but that went right out the window as soon as we walked out the door.

I wasn't in the market for buying a new vehicle but happened to stop by Gettel Acura to check out the new MDX. Ron was the first person to greet my family in the parking lot. After a brief description of what I wanted to see, Ron didn't hesitate to go inside and unlock the doors to a beautiful dark cherry 2015 MDX. We immediately fell in love with the vehicle and the rest is history. Ron did an amazing job meeting our needs and providing assistance with the features of the new 2015 MDX. I recently purchased an Acura RDX at Gettel Acura and worked with Ron Comrie. I get anxiety purchasing vehicles because I don't like to feel pressured when I'm "just looking". Ron came right out and greeted my husband and me but then gave us our freedom to walk around and look. I ended up test driving the RDX and I absolutely fell in love with it. I decided to lease the vehicle, Ron was very knowledgeable and didn't pressure us at all. He explained all the features the vehicle had and got me the price I was looking for. The fiance department is also so professional. Overall, great experience, I would highly recommend and go back for my next car purchase.

This dealership is obnoxious, in my two times there I have gotten caught up in their ridiculous system. No one to meet you for service, having to wait for 20 minutes for 'your service rep' to pull your paperwork (I never met this guy in my life) even though another rep was doing nothing. On the list for airbag recall but not called, had to follow up to get my parts and appointment guess my personal customer service guy just forgot! The place is a ghost town and no employees available to find out about how to get your car serviced. Parts is the same, last time waited 45 minutes to pick up ordered parts.

I called more than few times to make an appointment for service my car but no lady who work there said your service advisor or service specialist will call and make appointment, I waited few hours and called again no one replied till three days then schedule appointment with guaranty for loner car from Acura not from hertz and finally gave appointment after 6 days because of loner car and when I went there they refuse to give me Acura loner car and offer me hertz rental car (basic car like lower than economy) and I told you already promise and they said sorry I don't have one. Then I refuse and told them I don't want to repair my car here and they said your key in your car and when I left there were two service associate was laughing on me. They don't care your business, when you go to buy car from them they promise that when you come to repair or service your car they will give you same or higher model of Acura for loner and I also schedule my service 6 days in advance. Their service is worst I ever seen. They just want you to spend money their when you go for repair always ask you something to which not even necessary. Their customer service is not match with their status even Kia or Hyundai or ford are gives you better service than them. Will never go again.Even one of my friend went to buy car and they not provide them good service at all and one of sale person said we didn't invite you to come here and buy car this is your personal choice if you want then buy otherwise up to you.

I bought a used car for my son and the salesman told me it was in good, safe driving condition. My son test drove it and it seemed ok. We had to sit it there after I bought it since my son had to pass his driving test. We went to pick it up and the check engine light was on. Service did not have time to diagnose it and told us it was probably due to it sitting for a while and would turn off by itself. He told us to bring it back in if it didn't turn off and they would diagnose it for free. After a week, the light was still on so we brought it back. After fighting with the one of the heads of the dealership, they diagnosed it for free but then said it would not start. What a strange coincidence since my son never had a problem starting it. I had to pay over $321.00 for a new starter sensor. I was lied to by the salesman and he didn't want anything to do with me after I paid for the car. He was also very rude to my son and I when we came to get the car. I left a message for my service person since I had a question and he has never bothered to call me back. Do not buy a car here!!

I was blessed to walk into Gettel Acura and be met by Ron Comrie. In all my experiences with buying cars, I have never met a kinder, patient and more caring salesman. Heavy-handed sales tactics were NEVER part of the picture; Ron let the wonderful RDX sell itself, while he answered all my questions and smoothed the way for me to drive away the following day in my new car. This is my first luxury vehicle, and though I obviously had higher expectations for the quality and comfort of my new Acura, I had no idea that the "luxury" would be more than matched by the service Ron's salesmanship provided. In the month since purchasing my new RDX, I have suffered great personal loss. My beloved mother passed away two weeks ago. I was her caregiver, and she had already been gravely ill when I entered into the car-buying process. Ron's compassion for me has been extraordinary; he has been understanding, helpful and careful not to be an intrusion. Though I bought the RDX over a month ago, Ron continues to provide assistance as I try to negotiate my way through learning how to operate all the "bells and whistles." Later today I actually have a scheduled "lesson" with Ron to help me navigate the navigation system, Bluetooth possibilities and individualize my settings. I wholeheartedly give Ron Comrie my absolutely highest recommendation. Thank you, Ron!!

I had the worst buying experience when I purchased my new car through this dealership. I brought my car in August 2013. They sold me a corroded and rusted car. The whole underside of the car was corroded ( salt water corrosion) and rusted. I was kept in dark about this.I only came to know of this when I took the vehicle to my closest Acura dealership complaining about the vehicle brakes. When they looked at the brakes, that is when we found out about the corrosion and rust on the underside of the vehicle. Even they were shocked that some one can sell a vehicle in this condition.Since then I have made repeated trips to the dealership urging them to replace the vehicle or cancel the purchase and give my money back.I got nothing. They cleaned up the corrosion and rust and told me to take the car. No compensation in any form was offered.I was in shock that a new car was sold in that condition and that they were not ready to own the responsibility of it even a bit.They cared less about providing any kind of customer satisfaction and had a very bad attitude. I would stay way from them.

great facility great sale staff who were just as nice before I buy as they were nasty after I asked them to hold true to their word of fixing some issue on the car I bought and was still under warranty but they said that their specialist told them it was wear and tear; wear and tear after 3 days a transmission!!!! Bottom line they don't honor their own written policies.

I love to take my car there for service, it's a very pleasant experience!!! I used to take my car to Darby's in Venice and I hated to go there, they make you feel like you are bothering them and they are always in a rush to answer any question. I never felt good going there. But now, it's such a huge difference!! Customer service is excellent, friendly, helpful, very knowledgable people, they make you feel "at home".... The service manager, Tom Marcado, is a very kind, friendly and always there to help you with no rush!!! The customer service waiting room is very nice, clean, comfortable and relaxing compared to the one at Darby's which reminds me of Tuffy's service, very cold and cheap.Our two ACURA and GMC are very happy going there for their maintenance!!!!!!! Thank you, Tom for your absolutely great customer service!!!!!

We have two Acura cars and one GMC Acadia, we bring the three cars to Gettel Acura for service. I used to take my GMC to Darbys in Venice and I hated it, horrible customer service. But it's just a pleasure to come here and be pampered by the excellent customer service, they make you feel so comfortable. Very nice waiting area, delicious cookies, good coffee, laptops for you to use, last time I even got an IPad while I was waiting for my service. And the best is the great and friendly customer service of our Service Advisor Tom Marcado!!!! A place to trust!!!

I bought a new TL there and have had it serviced there. Thomas Marcado has been my service adviser the last three times I've brought my car in. He's very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Not that I'm saying the other two that I dealt with weren't, but Thomas takes it to another level. The service department led by Jeff Dirksen is exceptional. The work area is so clean and well maintained you could eat off the floor, which is not recommended but is an example of the pride and care that the techs take in their work. First impressions are important and that starts as you are greeted by Tony who has a friendly 'Hello' and checks your car in. The service people whom I have had over the past 4-5 years are all attentive and knowledgeable. The men in the actual work area are excellent and will assist you with even a small request like "how do I change the clock for Daylight Savings Time? I have recently had the 100,000 mile recommended care and the work was done within the time stated and to my complete satisfaction. The waiting room is spacious, comfortable and allows you a work space or just time to read the paper, watch the news on TV or just relax. Kudos to Gettel Acura.

This is my second Acura TL that I have purchased from Gettle Acura.Lucy A is an excellent service manager. Pleasant, helpful, honest, and knowlegeable.I knew I had a small piece of metal in the front driver side tire, and when they inspected it, a laceration was found in the rear driver side tire also, with no tread left on the rear passenger inner edge tire. I bought 4 new tires. Much better to discover it now that barelling along in Montana this summer. I bring a newspaper to read when repairs or maintainence is done, and enjoy the good cookies and cofee while waiting.

Came in to get a noise checked & oil change. lucy had answers within 25 mins, job would take about 3 to 4 hours. She sent me home with a car, so I did'nt have to sit in showroom. Called in 3-1/2 hours, my car was done. Got my "clean" car back and was out of there in less than 15 mins. That is fast, accurate and good service. I live in Minnesota & purchased my Acura there, but still got the great service from Lucy and Gettel.Fred Resler

I went in for a routine oil change (for which I had already been sent a coupon to reduce the price). While there, I had coffee (good coffee) and cookies (good too), TV to watch, papers and magazines to read, and a comfy chair to sit in. Then, there was the dreaded moment when some car service departments send someone to tell you the bad news about an unexpected problem. They did give me some news but it was good news. I was told that the battery needed to be replace and that they would replace it for free under the warranty. Before I knew it, the repairs were completed and my car was washed. Truly excellent service!

I recently relocated to Sarasota and had my TL serviced at Gettel. I found Lucy to be very attentive, polite and knowledgeable. The waiting area and facilities were the best I've experienced. Knowing I can bring my auto in and not worry about the service department not taken care of something really makes my visit to Gettel a pleasure. I have been dealing with Gettel Acura since 2003 when I purchased my RSX Type S from them. I have never had the vehicle serviced anywhere else and the fact that it has recently surpased 376,000 miles is a testimonial to both the quality that Acura represents and the outstanding service that I have received from Gettel Acura. Key to that outstanding service has been Lucy, as I have never been exposed to anyone who is more customer focused and intent upon providing an extraordinary service experience. I took my 2012 Honda crz in for an appraisal for a trade in. I'm from out of state and have two license plates on the vehicle. During the appraisal gettel acura attached a dealer advertisement on the front location of the plate. However the original plate was never reattached to the vehicle. When I asked for it back they don't have it and called me a liar. I also have a RSX that I have had serviced at gettel acura. Today was the last straw, I will never go back for any thing. I have a police report, If I wasn't a college student I would take them to civil court.

Recently purchased a used car from Gettel Acura. Had visited other area new car dealers and looked at a lot of used cars with very mixed results, especially price wise. Gettel does it differently and right imo. Everything is first class, even for an older model year used car. The price of the car was absolutely fair and you won't find that often, especially in this market The car looked incredible when I picked it up, including some minor cosmetic stuff they had taken care of for me. Within the 3 day return period I brought it back because a gauge was operating oddly and they diagnosed/fixed it at no cost and then washed my car afterwards! Gettel Acura really is different. If you want to take the misery out of buying a fairly priced used car in Sarasota just go there - you'll see. Ask for LL.

Being a car guy, I really look at the details of repairs, service assistance, extra effort to solve a problem and the most important item being attitude with the service experience. Tom and really all the people at Gettel have been A++. I came in the other day with a Navigation problem.. I had four guys out looking at my car and they even brought Ben, the technician out who diagnosed the problem and got the part ordered. Two days later, I came back in and had the Navigation fixed in about an hour! The experience at Gettel is the best I have ever experienced and I have owned no less than 55 vehicles over the last 30+ years.

Recently took my Acura in for routine maintenance and as always I am beyond happy with the results. From the moment I called for an appointment to the moment I put my seatbelt on and left the dealership everything went smoothly. A real pleasure dealing with Lucy. Our 2004 MDX with 165,000 km needed several things changed (All fluids, timing belt and spark plugs) so that we can have a further 165,000 km of trouble free driving. Lucy explained all work to be completed and the cost. There were no surprises when we picked up our MDX. This is our third year being looked after by the Gettel Acura staff. Great service! Leon

I drove an hour and a half just to see a used vehicle I'd found online (the price, appearance and mileage were amazing). I'm so glad I made the drive! From start to finish the staff was very friendly and attentive. Most importantly the financing process was fairly straight-forward and they were able to get me financing without crippling my bank! I was prepared to spend the whole day at the dealership, but the whole process only took a couple hours. Now I've got my dream car and my neighbors are jealous (they've already said as much).

Chuck listened well,and took special care of me. Within minutes he had four people around me and my car hearing my concerns. They agreed on the problem and assured me that it would be fixed. They got me a loaner phoned me with a progress report the next day and the following day phoned it was ready and I picked it up and it was washed and it worked like new. I am very pleased with their treatment of me as a customer,and the quality of their employees, they are the best.

I recently bought a used vehicle from them. Apparently they wanted to sell it bad so they lowered the price. and did minor repairs to it.I have had the car for about a month now and so far i put an additional $600 into it and still going.Had to replace driver side axle,passenger side shock mount was broke and now i have to get the transmission seal replaced. Seems they did a temporary fix on every thing

Everybody knows dealerships charge more than independent repair shops, but is that cost worth it? At least at Gettel Acura, the answer is a resounding, "Yes!" Aside from the comfortable reception area, new loaner car, and overall customer courtesy, (that has to be work something, right?) all my repairs have been competently diagnosed and completed on time. As a total package I expect to pay a premium price, but I continue to receive premium service in return, so for me, I continue to have my 2004 TL serviced exclusively at Gettel Acura.

Whenever I visit Gettel Acura right when I arrive I feel welcome. Tony greets me and acknowledges why I am there and helps the process to begin working on my auto. I enjoy the professionalism showed by Jeff who helps me in the process of what has to be done on my vehicle. He makes thoughtful suggestions to help me so I continue to enjoy my Acura. His patience and knowledge in understanding what my needs are and meeting them in a fast courteous manner is something I have never experienced in any other Auto Dealership. Last year I purchased an extended warranty from Gettel directly because of the way the staff treats me. The gentleman who works on my vehicle, Larry, is also part of the great experience at Acura. His knowledge and understanding to what is wrong and the best way to fix it is very important to me as I am real picky on my vehicles. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the experience and I have recommended a number of friends of mine to use your place.

Roger is absolutely fantastic to work with. He watches out for his Acura customers and you always know that if Roger says you need a repair then you need a repair. I have had service completed on my vehicle at other dealerships in the past where you felt that the service department was trying to sell you service you don't need. You won't get that at Acura with Roger. He provides exceptional service and is extremely trust worthy. With Roger and Gettel Acura you can be confident that you will be taken care of and not taken advantage of. You can buy an Acura at any Acura dealership in the nation and get the same car. However, you won't get the same exceptional service that you get with Roger and Gettel Acura. You buy a car and take it home. It's the service area and service advisors like Roger that really separate an average dealership from a great dealership. My wife and I own two Acura RLs and will be in the market for another new car in the next couple years. I have every intention of buying another Acura from Gettel and have no plans of shopping anywhere else. My purchase decision will be due to the fantastic and consistently great service I get from Roger at Gettel Acura.

I purchased a used Acura at the dealership.They are extremely professional and went way out of their way to help me.I got to the dealership not long before closing on a Saturday and they made me feel welcome and they had to stay past their closing time to close the purchase.I would highly recommend taking a look at their new or used cars, no matter how far you have to come to visit.I went all the way from near Jacksonville fl and the trip was well worth it.They were not pushy at all and only wanted to help me find a car within my budget.Why would you go anywhere else?

The gentleman that greeted me upon arrival at the service driveway was very friendly. I entered the service department and was promptly greeted by name with a friendly "Hello" from Lucy. She and I discussed the services requested and she made sure I knew what work would be performed. Service was performed as expected and my cash was washed!! Thank you for this wash service - a nice little extra thing that makes my visit to the service department even better. When my car was ready, the charges were explained and I was cashed out promplty. It is hard to say that spending $1,300 for a 90,000-mile service is great, but the work had to be done, and Lucy did all she could to make the servicing as cost-effiecient as possible. Truthfully, Lucy is the reason I will probably buy another Acura.

I recently leased my second Acura TSX from Gettel. I dealt with Jarmo on both deals and he is a great guy to work with. My last deal was done very quickly and Jarmo had everything ready to go when I walked in the door. How often are you in and out in under an hour when buying/leasing a car? I also use them for service and they are always timely and efficient. Everyone I have dealt with at Gettel has always been very friendly. Great people to do business with!

We love Gettel and Lucy and Jarmo. We would not buy anywhere else. We feel like they are our children. We feel very confident going to Gettel. We have never met Mr. Gettel, but we would like to tell him how we feel about Jarmo and Lucy. We feel secure dealing with them. They tell it like it is, but when you are talking Acura, it is a given. Rarely do I take the time to fill out a review form and after being asked to do so By Bill Longo I was more than happy to take the time to do so. Bill demonstrated what I hope is a new standard in customer service and overall demeanor when buying a car. At no time were any of the stereotypes so many have come to expect when entering a dealership displayed. Bill was patient, he was friendly but not fake, he was sensitive to our questions and was quick to display his in-depth knowledge of the product without it being obnoxious and overly rehearsed. Bill served as an instrumental factor in our decision making. He spoke highly of the organization, he introduced us to the service advisor, the management team, and was sure to make it clear he was available to handle any questions or concerns we might have after we purchased the vehicle. Bill's approach should be used as a training guide to instill the correct way to earn a customers trust and respect. I was surprised to learn that was not formally trained at the corporate level. I was certain he was installed by Acura corporate as new generation sales associate. We have already recommended Bill to family and friends and look forward to seeing his continued success with the organization.

In my search for a 2008 Acura TL, Laura Lockwood has been exceedingly helpful and personable in her calls to me each time a used Acura arrived at the dealership. This is about Laura Lockwood. She is super. I drove in to fix a bluetooth issue on my TL. Nobody that was present in Service understood the internet technical issue. Laura overheard the conversation. She immediately offered to help and did so, perfectly. Very kind and considerate. She never once laughed at me for not understanding the 400 page manual. I bought my next car from her because of her voluntary concern and feel so lucky that she jumped in. It was as if I were a family member to her. Laura followed up two or three times to make sure all was well. It was. Five stars to Laura Lockwood.

Lucy Aguilar in the service department is very friendly, very knowledgeable and extremely efficient. Gettel Acura never fails to make my 1999 TL run like new again. Today I got a $100 discount on some major scheduled maintenance (replacement of a very old timer belt and water pump). And every time Acura services my car, Acura gets it washed at no extra cost to me. I had a great service experience at Gettel Acura on two recent visits. One for a standard maintenance service and the other to replace a broken part (caused by me). Both times the service was excellent as was the quality of the work performed and the parts installed. It was done on time and for the estimated cost. Customer service was outsyanding as was the coffee and in the waiting area. Overall this was a much better experience than I have had in Connecticut where I purchased the car.

I have been doing business with Gettel for the past 5 years, since moving to Florida. They have been servicing my 2004 MDX, and I have been very pleased with the outcomes. Lucy Aguilar has done a fine job in recommending the neccessary services to keep my vechicle in top notch shape. I've also had the pleasure of working with Tom Marcado when a problem arose on the weekend and I was extremely pleased to find that Gettel service is open on the weekends.Most recently I decided to purchase a new MDX and chose Gettel. John Giunta represented the dealership well with excellent people skills and a true sence of being a customer advocate. I find these qualities very important when making large purchases such as a vehicle. He interacted very well with Emilio Torres in meeting all my needs and expectations. My experience at Gettel Acura was surprisingly enjoyable. I'm always a little ambivalent about the car buying (or in this case leasing) process, and dealing with the staff at Gettel was refreshing. The salesperson I dealt with was Emilio Torres, and he couldn't have been more knowledgeable or accommodating. Going in, I knew which model I was interested in and through my own research I had a good idea of what my lease payment should be. Emilio didn't try to sell me, or negotiate me into a higher payment. To the contrary, he was actually able to save me a little on my payment through a special only Gettel was offering. How often does a salesperson try to save you a few bucks? Usually they wear the carpet out between their desk and their manager's office before you can get any real numbers. There was none of that. Even dealing with their finance manager David Fishburn was easy and straightforward. The numbers were exactly as Emilio said they would be, and David had me signed and in my new car in no time. All in all, I was very impressed with my experience at Gettel Acura, and I know that when my current lease is up, I'll be going back to see Emilio and David.

Extremely happy with my Acura TSX, being in sales myself I typically dislike the car buying experience, Emilio and the staff at Gettel were friendly and even stayed late on the night that I bought my car and unlike most dealerships I did not feel pressured. Emilio helped me to make an informed decision, gave me what I felt was a fair value for my trade in and treated my sale like it was more than just getting me into a new car to add to the numbers. I have not owned an Acura in the past and this is by far one of if not the nicest car I have owned to date. I definately will buy another Acura and definately will buy it from Gettel.

I had visited other dealerships in the last several months in search of the perfect car for me and other dealers did not come close to the comfort and satisfaction that I felt the moment Michael Martin greeted me. He took the time to show me several vehicles in my price range and answered all my crazy questions. I was then introduced to the sales manager Emilio Torres who also further assure me it was the right Acura for me. He was very personable and extremely patient with me and my concerns. Even after my perfect purchase Emilio went far beyond my expectations to address some minor repairs and even provided me with transportation while my vehicle was being serviced. He was very honest and helpful from the beginning. I never thought purchasing a vehicle would be so enjoyable. I have recommend Gettel Acura to my family and friends. I truly look forward to purchasing my next Acura from Gettel.

I had the horrible experience of meeting with Pete Mishos and Laura Lockwood yesterday regarding a 2000 Mercedes ML 320. I explained over the phone that I would be traveling 2 hours (+) in order to see the vehicle on their lot. When I get there I asked for Pete. After waiting approx. 15 mins, Pete immediately passed me off to Laura (I guess he thought it wasn't a big enough sale for him). Laura was hospitable all the way up to the point when she pulled the vehicle up front. First, I looked around the outside of the vehicle and there was significant deep scratches around the entire vehicle especially on right side. Being that the vehicle is a 2000, I do not expect mint condition by any means but I do expect normal wear and tear not the appearance of a "side-swiped" or "keyed" vehicle. As I was looking around the vehicle, Laura quickly stated there was a $800 "dealer fee" and mentioned their "as-is" warranty which surprised me because you would think that she would walk with me around the vehicle and give her feature, benefit and impact statements rather than giving me the impression that I am being cheated and taken advantage of! This lets me know that Pete and Laura knew very well the vehicle was in lousy condition! I have never paid an additional "dealer fee" for any car I have bought and even looking online most dealer fees were in the $300 range (At least, other dealerships tell what the additional amounts are instead of clubbing the consumer over-the-head in "caveman fashion" with an additional $800. By the way, even though this dealer would have you believe that all car dealerships charge "dealer fees" aka "COMMISSIONS" that is not true at all. I opened the doors and trunk to the vehicle and the carpet and upholstery was in horrid condition. It looked like someone played rugby in mug and drove the vehicle right after. Being that Laura stated the vehicle only had one previous owner I was totally shocked at the extreme atrocious condition. Now the kicker! Laura and I sat in the vehicle and the buttons on the left side of the center console are hanging somewhere within the inside of console so all you see are HOLES where the buttons should be! Who in their right mind is going to buy a vehicle that appears to be the recipient of a police narcotics raid? I never been in a vehicle where their were holes where your heating and cooling buttons are suppose to be! That was the last straw for me! I understand that car dealerships want to get the consumer to come to their lot but should it be at the cost of dishonesty and deception? Keep in mind that I told Pete that it would take me 2 hours (+) for me to get there, I expect Pete to be a man of integrity and make sure I am aware of the vehicle's condition beforehand. Furthermore, if the HONEST and ACCURATE condition of the vehicle was appropriately displayed in pictures on autotrader.com and/or indicated in the SELLER NOTES, I could have assessed the damage and decided not to make the trip! This dealer has the audacity to state "this vehicle is still in good shape" in their autotrader.com ad! Far from! The condition of the vehicle is so horrendous, Kelly Blue Book wouldn't even have a category for it! In poor car-saleswoman fashion, Laura got defensive when I told her that the vehicle is in extremely inadequate condition and they should really take the high road and accurately illustrate a vehicle's condition when placing online ads. I believe every consumer is OWED that right! When a car dealership's business is largely based upon repeat business and word of mouth, you really should not be misleading and deceptive to the consumer! The Mercedes ML 320 ad only had 2 pictures (none on which were from the inside!) That should have been the first red flag! In conclusion, Laura made a pitiful attempt to save face and tell me that since the vehicle was priced at auction-level that somehow justifies the wretched condition of the vehicle! This dealership would have you believe that you can not get a great deal on a pre-owned vehicle in very good condition! To my abundant satisfaction and to GETTEL ACURA's dismay, I purchased the same ML 320 from a dealer in Tampa without a ridiculous and offensive "DEALER FEE", in wonderful condition, added sun roof feature, heat/cool controlled seats, less miles, 6 disc cd changer for only $109.00 more! Even came with original owners manual! Plus, the vehicle color is black, which is what I really wanted, instead of blue! As I told Laura, deals are out there, you just have to decipher through the SWINDLERS like GETTEL ACURA! I will never ever entertain the idea of buying a car from these CROOKS! On a more positive note, I was greeted by a gentleman named Chuck whom I must say was very friendly, helpful and informative! P.S. Can you believe that Laura tried to get me to purchase another car from their lot after they deceived me so badly. Trust me, there is a reason that Mercedes ML 320 is still on the LOT, I guess GETTEL hasn't figured it out yet!

I am so pleased with every experience I have had at Gettel Acura.... You work with my schedule and are extremely accomodating. Last year I had an issue late in the day with a motor going out in my window (I live in Parrish)- this was a Friday night. I was leaving for Orlando the next day. Lucy was able to wait for me and get the motor fixed. Amazing - these are things you don't forget. My last experience was the same - I am so appreciative to have such great people to help me with my "baby". I truly love my MDX and hope to have it for many years. I brought my Acura in for service Friday morning. I was greeted quickly and courteously, and we quickly reviewed what needed to be done on my vehicle. I had a comforable and clean waiting area, well stocked with coffee, tea, water and cookies. There was a newspaper and magazines to read, as well as a large screen TV. When my service was complete, my service writer advised me of the charges, and I settled my charges. And finally, the sales person that originally sold me the car approximately 4.5 years ago was on hand to help me sync my new cell phone with the audio system in my vehicle, which was a nice additional service.

Lucy Aguilar has been our Service Manager since we purchased a new TL in 2006. She provided superb service interface to the shop on our 2006. Problems involved a bad seat in the passenger side, which she correctly estimated would be the case before the Tecnician diagnosed the problem. Throughout 2006 and 2007, she continued to be our contact of choice for all matters at the dealership. In 2008, she recommended we look into the great deals for 2008's at the dealership. Thereafter, we indeed approach the Sales Manager at her recommendation and leased the 2008 TL, with the 2006 as trade in. From 2008-to date she has continued to be our trusted advisor on all matters with our car, such that we choose to buyout the lease of our 2008. We know she will keep it running in top shape.

As always I have a great experience when going into my Acura Dealership on Clark Road in Sarasota, Fl. One of the reasons I decided to purchase the 2008 Leased TL was because of Lucy Aguilar the Assistant Service Manager, she is great and I really like all of the staff. I asked to purchase windshield wipers for our car, and the price was right, and instalation was done quickly, along with the regular oil change and tire rotation. I really like it that, the dealership sends out a reminder by e-mail when service is due. Lucy always has a smile on her face, and makes me feel like I am her only custumer that day, and I know that she is a very busy person, but she always has time to discuss my car concerns, and she and the staff come up with the solutions I need. Our overall experience was great, and I never seem to mind bringing my car in for service, gives me a chance to have a cup of coffee, and cookie, and watch a little T.V. or read. Lucy went above and beyond to acquire a necessary cable for my MDX. It took a few days, but she let me keep the rental for the entire time. The cable was on backorder and yet she was able to get it. I saw the exact car I was looking for (a used Toyota Highlander) when I drove by Friday March 4, stopped in, was assisted by a Daniel Fried. There was no high pressure, I looked at the car and continued looking at other dealerships that day. I received a call back later in the day from Daniel, still not having found a car, went back, did the deal for a little better price than originally quoted and drove away with a nice used low mileage Highlander an hour later. Dan and Pete went above and beyond for me. Within the first month of getting my new vehicle, it was keyed. Dan gave me a really good price to have the scratch fixed and it looks like brand new again. They answered all of my questions and made sure that I knew how to utilize all of the features on my car, including pairing the bluetooth. I was greeted immediately upon pulling in. The salesman inquired what I was interest in and then attempted to answer any questions that I had. When I hesitated about GPS and non-GPS models, he showed both to me without "leading" me into accepting the one he might want to sell me. Over a period of two days, with intervening phone calls, he was responsive and very accomodating. An overall great buying experience.Even on the weekend, he called to inquire if all was OK and if I had any questions. Working with Gettel was a great experience. They are quality people who are genuine and really wanted to serve at the highest level. There was no pressure at any point - not even with the extended warranties. My salesman (Jarmo Kormu) was incredible. I have been to the Acura dealership on more than one occasion looking at buying a used vehicle. Each visit was pleasant as the personnel is very professional and provide great customer service. Even though I haven't bought a vehicle yet from Gettel Acura doesn't mean I won't go back until I find what I want and in the price range for me. I am still unsure what I am looking for but I know I will be back to this dealership to make a purchase. I dealt with Joe Braoudakis and Chuck Jacovina. Both of these men were very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely like to see more used inventory to choose from for people who are not looking for new cars to purchase.

Gettel Acura offered more than I expected I would need to know about my purchased vehicle. Everyone I spoke to truly was interested in my purchase and treated me with complete kindness. This trip was my third car bought and it was the better experience that I have had with any other dealership. Just purchashed a used vehicle...service from Daniel Fried was wonderful..I would definately consider another purchase from same dealership considering of course Daniel is our dealer once again. I did however have a rather unpleasant experience with the Sales Manager Joe Braoudakis...he was rude, pushy...and quite frankly i feel as though he treated us as though we were just two " stupid" women...if it wasnt for the congenial and honest service that we experienced from Mr Fried , I would have left the dealership with no purchase...and most likely went to the Lexus competitors next door...thank you for hiring such contientious sales men as Mr Fried and I would definately consider a "Customer Service" refresher course for Mr Braoudakis.Thank you for everythingHeidi Conley

We have owned Acuras since 1989. Awesome automobile. Awesome dealerships. Awesome service. We have worked with Gettel since 2003 and every time it is a pleasure to deal with everyone. I know I could buy a cheaper car and a more expensive car butwe are always treated with kindness and respect. These cars are very reliable.In short, they do what they say, say what they mean, and give you a fair, if notbetter, shake all around. And since my son survived a collision (without a scratch in a 19 year old Acura) with a tractor-trailer, safety is unquestionable. There is no value you can put on safety except the value of a life. After our experience, we are hard pressed to think about even looking at another car type. And besides, the dealership has become like family. They will do whatever it takes to make you happy that is within their realm. Hey, even my password on my e-mail is an Acura car style!

There are certain stigmas attached with Car Dealerships and Car Salesmen. Not one holds true with Gettel Acura. The management(Pete Mishos) and sales staff are extremely knowledgable and will work with you every step of the way during your car buying experience. Buying a car is very time consuming and can be overwhelming. At Gettel Acura my experience was so incredible that I actually did not want to leave the dealership. My wife, who hates the whole car buying process, stated multiple times during our purchase how professional and pleasant Pete Mishos, Jarmo Kormu, and David Fishburn were to work with. I purchased two vehicles from Gettel Acura - 1 new and 1 pre-owned vehicle and I will never shop anywhere else for a new or pre-owned car. I also did a tremendous amount of research before purchasing and I paid thousands less at Gettel Acura than the 5 other competitor dealerships I had visited and received quotes from. I would also like to mention how great Gettel Acura's service department is. The staff(Lucy and Jeff) are also very knowledgeable and take time to explain everything in great detail. I wish all of my other scheduled appointments were as quick as Gettel Acura's.

There was no undue pressure from the various salesmen encountered. They seemed proud of their product and facilities. I was even taken into the spotless service center and introduced to the head mechanic who told me to call him direct if any mechanical problems were encountered. Most important the offered price was acceptable to me.

We had an excellent experience with Jarmo at Gettel Acura. We visited the dealership several times to test drive different models and once we decided on the car he was sure to make it available even though there was not one on the lot at the time. We again changed our mind and Jarmo was able to accomodate the change as well. He was very friendly and made himself available by phone even when he was not at work. He was not pushy and made the car buying experience pleasurable.

While searching for a great deal on a dependable used vehicle, Jarmo was extremely helpful finding the perfect car for my family, at a great price. While this dealership is a bit of a drive for us (we live in Apopka)it was the pictures of the BMW, with low miles, a low price tag, and all of the options we were currently looking for that prompted the drive. Upon arriving there we were greeted by a friendly salesman, Dan Davis. We took the car for a test drive and then returned to the dealership to discuss numbers. After speaking with Dan and then more in depth with Joe, my husband and I decided to proceed with the purchase. Although we weren't able to get the interest rate we had been quoted and hoped for, Joe made adjustments to the price and trade in offer to help seal the deal. While waiting for th ecar to be ready for pick up an unexpected tragedy occurred and both Dan and Joe were very understanding and sincere during this time. When we were finally able to pick up the car, Dan was extremely helpful and even helped us pick up the vehicle well after normal business hours to accomodate our schedules.

Jim Henley has been a great representative for this dealership. He went above and beyond to make sure my experience was a good one. I actually had an attachment to car that I traded. He may have thought I was crazy but you'd never know it. I've been in twice just to have him help me with setting up the Bluetooth, once with my old phone, once with my new, and you would have thought I was the most important customer that walked in the door. The entire dealership personnel have been great. I'd like to also mention the patience and excellent service received from the master technician. This was a very good experience and I would recommend Gettel Acura to anyone looking for a new or used car.

Visited Gettel Acura to check out the 2011 MDX. Jim Henley met us at the door and provided us with exceptional service and product knowledge. The dealership offered a casual atmosphere for buying and had the exact vehicle in stock that we wanted. While there we met Pete Michos the sale manager. We had a brief discussion on price and purchased the vehicle that day. We later took the vehicle back to have a trailer hitch installed. That work too was professionally handled by the dealership's service department.

I was having trouble getting a new car after the one I was driving broke down. Both Dan and Pete made it very easy for me to lease a brand new TSX. I never thought I'd be driving such a quality car but they made it happen. I will now only own/lease Acuras from here on out. Great overall experience.

The two people I worked with were extremly helpful very professional ,patient,and answered all my questions.I was intending to purchase a bmw or lexus and only went to the acura dealership at my wifes urging. I was prepared not to like the suv.Within an hour I had taken a ride, settled on a price and purchased the suv. I have never made that kind of decision so quickly.The suv is great but Daniel and Joe made it a no brainer.

It was refreshing to deal with a professional salesman such as James Henley. I have trained sales teams all my life so I evaluate every salesperson I come in contact with everyday.James did a great job while greeting us, he made us feel right at home with no pressure. He asked pointed questions to determine our needs and put us in the car that fit those needs. He got us to drive the car, his product presentation is what sold us on the car. He has great product knowledge.James is very personable so the closing of the sale with him was fun for me, again I have been in sales my whole life. Our sales representative was exceptionally informative and answered all questions. More importantly he was able to provide options for a new vehicle that would suit us as to model and price ... and trade in of our current Acura vehicle. Administratively, the "sales procedure" was efficient and "friendly"! The Manager, we know as Chuck, was an added "plus" when it came down to the bottom line. We are pleased with our choice of vehicles and the whole experience.

My wife and I were more than pleased with the entire process of buying or 2009 Acura MDX. From the moment we walked onto the lot , Daniel handled us with respect and honesty. He only informed us when asked and was never pushy. once we figured out the specific car we wanted, Chuck was there to explain the bottom line to us. Just like Daniel, Chuck went above and beyond his duties as sales manager, and spent whatever time we needed to inform us, lay out various options, and help us with our trade. Never at any time was he pushy, rushed or in a hurry to close his deal. Simply put, the deal was a good one for us and Gettel Acura. We will refer all our friends to Chuck and Daniel. They really made and continue to make a difference in owning an Acura.
