I'm glad to say that I had a great experience buying my new 2017 Kia Sportage. Being as I have always owned toyotas or Hondas, I was shocked that this car hassuch good quality and is so fun to drive. The entire buying experience was pleasant and efficient.

I went to Gossett Kia to test drive the 2015 Kia Optima LX. The salesman who showed me the car was Francis P. He was terrific: very professional, knowledgable, courteous, and easy-going; he didn't pressure me at all or cause me any anxiety. I really enjoyed the test drive, and while I didn't buy the car in the end, I liked it a lot (the Optima was my second choice after test driving several other makes and models). Unlike some other dealerships I visited, one thing I liked about Gossett Kia was that they didn't include a bunch of pre-installed dealer add-ons on every car (there were some variations of each model, one might have mud guards installed for instance, but another would have nothing added). I would definitely recommend this dealership to a friend who was considering a Kia. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because the showroom was a bit dark and cramped feeling compared to some other dealerships I visited, which had bright and open layouts. Francis P. was definitely a 5 star salesman though!

Me and my husband signed papers yesterday on our new car but one of the papers says the deal is not final until the dealership receives payment from the bank they are getting the loan through. I have seen and read so many stories of these things not working out that I am really nervous even though we were pre-approved and made a down payment. I want everything to go smooth and would like to know everything is going ok with the loan before I go crazy:/ they said if u don't hear from us everything is ok but I don't want to end up getting a phone call in 2 weeks or something saying it was denied or the bank changed their mind. Help me please I need to ease my mind.

I took my car in for warranty repair and routine maintenance. When I left 5 hours later, they informed me that I had a bent rim. I did not have a bent rim when I arrived. I called the service manager to complain. He told me that his technicians did not bend the rim and I would have to purchase a new one. After taking my car to a tire shop, they said the rim was bent in the center where the lug nuts go and the only way that happens is if the tire is not put on straight or the lug nuts were not tightened properly. Guess I am just supposed to give Gossett some more money. I will never take my car back for them to do more damage!

I am interested in getting another car. I recently gave my car back to the dealership because they were a hassle. I have a very very poor credit score but I am trying to get with some great creditors to help me fix this issue. I want to get a car and get finance but not through the lender. Can Gossett get me a car. Credit score of 518 the highest. I also want a recent model hopefully in between 2010 or higher.

Inquired about a car off Cars.com website so I gave them my email and phone #. I received numberous calls and a couple of emails to come see the car so I agreed to come see. I live a hour and a half from dealership so I called them late Friday afternoon to see if they still had car and they did but when I showed up a little after opening on Saturday the car had been moved to another lot. I was asked to wait while they went to go get the car but the other dealership would not release it so I waited over 2 hours to find out there was someone how looked at the car Friday night but had not committed due to check engine light being on. So they used the fact that I was sitting at the other lot to push this person into buying the car. When I asked why I was not called Friday about the car being sold because it was obvious they had my # I was told it wasn't sold then but when I showed up a little after opeing it was sold. So I guess i should say youir welcome for pushing to other buyer. Heres the kicker Sunday night they called me again.

I recently purchased a vehicle at gossette kia south. I purchased my vehicle on november 20th 2013. I was assured by my sales man my car had been serviced but this is not the case. My belt is squeaking and my check engine light is on and my car is putting. Took my vehicle to service. The service manager stated its not covered under warranty. This dealership has poor customer service.

My daughter Holly and I had spent weeks researching cars that get 30mpg or more on the Highway and we selected the Kia Sout because it is more like a wagon than a car. It sits higher off the ground with great visability and with the back seats down you can pack it with all kinds of stuff: hunting and camping gear, boxes, pet carriers, whatever. It's going to be our all utility vehicle and it's cute and fun to drive. Plus you can not beat the Kia warranty. We were meet by Kory Knight a young salesman that impressed us very much. He was REAL, no bolgna! He was honest and caring and helped us through the entire process. Than Greg the service man taught us every gadge on the Kia, he was brilliant. We were so impressed with Gossett Kia we have been telling all friends to shop there and get a great deal. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had! 4REAL! Go there! These guys will not let you down. Ask for Kory or Greg!

It's amazing what writing a reveiw will do to get action. I will say that the Gossett Kia dealership contacted me today regarding the review that I wrote and I am pleased that this happened. Why, I do not know and really do not care. I was informed that I could pick up the money that was promised to me today and I am very happy that they did take the time to rectify the problem. I was impressed when I first bought my car because Gossett worked with my credit. Three days after buying my car the CD player stopped working and the warranty that I purchased did not cover the radio but they offered to pay for the Ford dealership to remove the radio and take out the cd's which I thought was great. It has been over a month a they have not reimbursed me for the charge at the dealership and I keep getting the run around about the check has been cut but hasn't been mailed. I do not think it takes this long to mail a check!!!!!! I also was told that everything on the used vehicle had been check but I just had the brakes replaced due to them crystallizing. I have spent more money than should have in the past month since I had the car along with making my first car payment. I don't think I would recommend buying a car from these guys unless it is brand new and you get a deal in writing up front.

My experience at Gossett Motors was so easy. I have never had a good expierence with a car dealership until now. I wasn't hassled about my down payment. They were able to get me the payments that I wanted without any problems. I would recommend this dealership to my friends. Actually I did, and she bought a car the next week from the same dealer as I did.

I was in the market for a new SUV and came to Gossett after reading several positive reviews on the Sorento. I found the staff to be knowledgeable and professional while not overbearing or pressuring. The buying process went smoothly and the salesman did a great job explaining all of the features of the car. I look forward to working with them again someday.

They are not located in the best area however once we arrived we found the store well lite and safe. The staff went out of there way to help us to include staying after close to help us get a car. We purchase a used Mustang that was in good condition. I wont say it was the deal we wanted but it was pretty good compared to the other dealers we shopped at. Overall we had a good experience. The staff made the difference in shopping at Gossett Kia.

Gossest was one a of a few Kia dealers, in the eastern have of the US, that had the exact Sorento model that I was looking for. I contacted Gossett via the CARS.com price request feature. Gossett returned by request, I talked to the salesman, Chris Hill. Over the phone we had talked numbers, I should have gotten those figures from him in writting. I drove 700 miles to trade in my car and purchase the Sorento. Once I got there I could not get a price work up sheet from him or the manager, they felt we already had a deal and that there was no need to talk price. When I was finally able to get a price, it was over $2000.00 than I had discussed with the salesman. They did not honor the figures I had discussed with the salesman over the phone. They would not honor the discount certificate I was given by Gossett over the internet. I realize I basically forfeited by barganing leverage by driving that far, thus not being able to work on a deal over time. I paid way too much for this vehicle. This was 2 weeks ago. Gossett only had one set of keys to this car, they swore to me that they would FEDEX the other set of keys within 24 hours. I still have not received that second set. The saleman also committed to sending me a USB connector for the car. I have not seen that either. This dealership truely lacks integrity. I strongly suggest to anyone, go elsewhere, these folks apply southern charm, but lack any sense of honesty! I should have just turned around, I made a misstake. Learn from my misstake. This was by far the worst experience I ever had in purchasing a car.

I drove over 100 miles with the intent of trading for a 2008 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Baurer. I found the car to have damage at the passenger side right rear. The DVD's were not factory installed and one screen was broken. I was told they would send me a CARFAX by email, but was called after my third inquiry and told where I could purchase a CARFAX. I asked if the DVD player was working, but they could not find a DVD to show me. I came to Memphis with the intent of trading, but left without asking the price. This car was a dog!
