2 bad experiences with this place. They do not service their used vehicles they sell and the sales people just tell you things were serviced but never were. My oil was black, back window doesn't roll down, nail in the tire which they reset but actually never looked at the tires. Spent $300 on a new tire after the fact. Maybe they are good with new car sales but never buy a used car from them. I will not be going back to this dealership.

My first visit to the service center since buying my car and not impressed! Waiting over 2 hours for oil change and a quick recall which didn't involve any parts. Had an appointment! People who came at same time were out in half the time. Would probably not come back for service but have a service plan so probably stuck.

My overall experience with this dealership was very disappointing. My family and I drove all the way from Orangeburg, SC to purchase a car from this dealership. When we arrived we were told that someone had the car on an extended test drive an there was no paperwork to retrieve the car or the customer that was test driving the car. My assumption is that they were either holding the car for someone else or one of the workers was sporting the car out for the weekend. Either way I was very unsatisfied and will never purchase a vehicle from this location.

Just purchased a Nissan Rogue SV from Grand Strand Nissan and have to say that the entire experience was GREAT!! We were greeted by Glenn Wilson who was eager to answer all our questions but did NOT ONCE pressure us into buying. We did have a trade and they were very fair in our negotiations. Vito in finance was very thorough and easy to work with as well. We've had the Rogue for two weeks and are really enjoying it!! Beware when there is something wrong with your car though Service people are friendly but the end results may not be what you're looking for. Do not try and make a deal with this dealership, drive to another Nissan dealer even if it's far away. They do not believe in good values, will say they didn't do anything wrong, blame the customer, and just poor business practices. They are the type of place that gives the word salesman a bad name. I sent two people there to buy cars before they showed they're true colors. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

Unfortunately this is second time this has happened, they took my keys, then went on BREAK. .what? Today the whole shop was eating lunch, my car just sat. Even the Secretary was eating. Took 1 1/2 hrs for oil change, only 1 car ahead of me, but everyone from service was eating.

Years ago, I had a few very bad experiences with Grand Strand Nissan - both in purchasing a car and in service. Accordingly, I bought my '09 Nissan Rogue in Charleston, SC and used a local car care company for service. Last week, I received a recall on the car and my local mechanic sent me to Grand Strand for the recall and to have transmission fluids changed. I did not want to go, but I gave in and made an appointment. I went this morning with fear and trembling. Neil Torres met me as I drove in and Ray was the technician assigned to my recall and other issues. Ray listened to my questions and promised some answers and advice. Neil got me some popcorn and promised to clean my front seat fabric. I held my breath. When Ray had finished the recall work, he came out, met with me, explained the issues in the engine and gave me very sound advice about my car. Neil held the door for me when I left and explained how he cleaned my seat - which is now spotless. For the first time ever, I left a dealership with a smile on my face and a great feeling of satisfaction, knowing that I had been well taken care of. Congratulations to Grand Strand Nissan for hiring people with such a fine sense of caring. I am very impressed and will recommend Grand Strand Nissan dealership's service department to all.

Our daughter lost her key fob while at Family Kingdom. I contacted Grans Strand Nissan but they were closed for the weekend. Needless to say we had to leave the car at the park over the weekend. As we were headed back to Myrtle Beach we received a phone call from the dealership. They called and said they saw where we called over the weekend while they were closed and wanted to check and see what we needed. We told her about the incident. She then put us through to the service department. Christie not only told us that they could get us another key fob. She set up the towing to the dealership. When we arrived, everyone was courteous. They made us feel as though we were their only customer. They were great. Need anything, Grand Strand Nissan is the place to go for any car needs.

I had to bring the car back multiple times to fix some problems. They are not fixed after multiple attempts. This has been several months of driving the car and not being happy. I researched for many months prior to narrowing my car choices to Nissan Altima and a different Make. When I drove up on the lot I was fully anticipating the car dealer vultures one usually gets. Instead, the salesmen were extremely laid back and did not pressure me at all! Jud answered all of the questions I had and never once asked to run a credit report or try to push me into a sale. I left the dealership that day and called my husband to tell him that I wasn't buying a car from any other dealer in town based on the wonderful respect and customer service Jud had just given me. It took several weeks for me to return back and Jud respected my wishes not to contact me until I was ready to buy. He only called me after I called him with more questions. The day of our purchase I walked into the showroom and told him exactly what I wanted and what I could afford to pay. My own research had provided me with numbers and I never even had to negotiate. I got the deal I wanted right off the bat! Financing was easy as well. And I had a few "freebie" accessory requests that they threw in for me as I was walking out the door. The GSN family provided the best car buying experience possible for me! I will definitely be a return customer!

My new '14 Rouge is the 4th car I have bought from Grand Strand Nisson. I wouldn't consider buying a car anywhere else!! I actually went in for an oil change and ended up with a new car. This has happened twice, but, I am sticking with this one for a while. I love it and will never go back to driving a car again, Actually Marty told me that and he was right.The customer service there is the BEST! I can be a bit challenging but everyone there is so kind and treats me with respect and genuinely cares about my needs as well as having a fun time, mainly because I am a crazy old lady. Brye is a joy to work with and has great customer service skills. Marty has been exceptional in working to meet my needs. Always taking care of me. Birney was great as my salesman this trip. Congtats to Vito in his new position!. I always looked forward to getting my car serviced with him and Terry, she is a sweetheart. He does an excellent job with the financing and a joy to work with as well.

Went to GSN after two very bad purchase choices made at CAPITAL NISSAN WILMINGTON. But I really didt know how bad CAPITAL NISSAN had me until I got to GSN. I was interested I. Getting the new body style in my vechile and eve. Though they sales associates def went out of there way to try to make this happen. We are in the process of transitioning from PA to Myrtle Beach and I stopped at Grand Strand Nissan for some information on an Altima, since our daughter has one that we like very much and we won't be needing our 4-wheel drive anymore. :) I have always dreaded the car-buying experience, with sales people in the north going behind the curtain or wall to talk with the manager and emerging with the results of their conversation. Joseph Ocasio and the entire staff with whom I dealt listened to my wants and needs, found me a car with the options I wanted in my preferred color and were open and honest in our discussions. As a result, even though I only wanted information and have two months remaining on my existing lease, I walked out the same day with a new Altima at a price that fit our budget. Counting my wife's Juke we are now a three Nissan family.

This was an absolutely phenomenal experience dealing with Grand Strand Nissan. It all began with a quick response to an internet inquiry. It only got better from there. Vitaly, or "Victor", was an incredible guide through the buying process. He provided a thorough review of the vehicle in which I was interested and its features. Following a test drive we talked price, during which he listed invoice, Nissan incentives, anticipated trade-in value and even tax and license costs. He provided the price that the dealer would accept for the car. I explained that I would be shopping around to see what other dealers would offer. That was not a problem and Victor applied no pressure. That was all positive, but it was only by visiting another dealer in the same market that I was able to see the true value of the experience. That dealership seemed to be stuck in the past, with the salesperson providing virtually no indication that he knew anything about the model I was seeking, giving vague promises of beating the competition on price and then spouting some ridiculous comments asking if I was going to shop or if I was going to buy. As it turns out that salesperson did convince me to buy, from Grand Strand Nissan. I would suggest that anyone looking for a new Nissan in the Myrtle Beach area check out GSN. I'm glad that I did.

Just bought a new Armada from Grand Strand Nissan. What an awesome experience. My sales person was no nonsense, I explained what I wanted, my budget, and terms. After just a few minutes of negotiating, my deal was met, which I feel was very fair. I was introduced to the service department, but as of now, have yet to require their expertise. Cars.com does not allow the removal of previous reviews, so I would like to submit another review based on the dealership's actions after my previous review had posted. The following is part of the email I recently sent to cars.com: I left a review for Grand Strand Nissan in Myrtle Beach, SC after having an engine sludge up within a few months after purchase. After posting the review, the General Manager of Grand Strand, as well as the Service Manager, got word of the situation and went out of their way to resolve it. Robbie and John were incredibly helpful. I posted the review as NCMatt, and I see that Robbie Haynes from Grand Strand responded. Robbie and John got back in touch with me, examined the situation for a resolution, towed my car to South Carolina to have the engine replaced, and also sent me a loaner car to drive in the interim. It was obvious they felt horrible by the situation (a situation that arose from engine problems not properly disclosed to them upon acquiring the car), and I would hate to have my negative comments, which stemmed from the immediate response of the sale staff, to reflect on Robbie Haynes, John Clay, and Grand Strand Nissan in general. Thanks to these two, my car is back on the road, and though it was an unfortunate event, I was impressed with their diligent work and sincere concern. Thank you.

Car buying has sure changed since 2000, the last time we bought a NEW car! We started research on the Internet with Victor, from GRand Strand Nissan. He knows his product inside and out, in fact we spent over a half hour going over the basics of the Altima before taking it for a test drive. The car sold itself, and it is a wise sales associate that let the product do the talking! By the end of the afternoon, we were going home with a new car. However, it was not only Victor that was quick and efficient the Business Manager, Manny Gil guided us through the finer points of car financing, and was able to arrange a suitable payment plan. Both of these gentlemen know their product and their business, thus making the whole car buying experience a pleasant one! We were so pleased that we took the time to write a note to the dealership and the headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee on how pleased we were with the team at Grand Strand Nissan. We will definitely be dealing with them again! By the way, the Altima is a smooth driving vehicle, and we love it! Thank you Grand Strand Nissan!

While on our family vacation we had a bolt come out of our steering column and we were worried since we were out of town. Vito Marchiano and the service technician were really great! We hadn't even called ahead but just pulled in & they fixed it in no time even though it was difficult to get to the bolts. They provided better service than the Nissan dealership does at home where we bought our car. I highly recommend them for great & friendly service.

I visited this dealership in June to trade in a 2010 vehicle for a used Nissan Murano. I walked around the parking lot for ten to fifteen minutes and finally walked into the facility. Once entering the building, I had to walk up to the counter and request help. I described to the salesperson what I wanted to do. I waited several minutes while the salesperson had to locate the keys for a Pathfinder. I test drove this vehicle, did not like it, and then requested that I see the Murano they had on this website that I was interested in driving. After several minutes of waiting on the salesperson to get the key for this vehicle and the sales manager to value my trade-in, they low balled my vehicle and did not try to negotiate on the Murano. I was not unsatisfied, but frustrated at this point. I have recently sold my vehicle third party so that I could receive the extra $4500 that it was worth. I called Grand Strand Nissan to see if they still had the used vehicle available. I was told that they NEVER keep a vehicle that long on their lot, but they had one just like it for $1000 more. I came home and viewed the vehicle on this website to find that it had the same VIN number and stock number that I was interested in over a month ago, but that the price had increased $1000. I am highly upset with the dishonesty involved with this dealership considering I have been a long time customer and purchased three vehicles from them in the past.

My daughter is away at college in Columbia, when she left we purchased a cube for her to drive back in forth. While in Columbia she began having problems with it, because I didnt want her driving it home I drove to Columbia and took it to Dick Smith Nissan. They said they fixed the problem, they didnt so we took it back, they kept the car over the weekend then said they couldn't find anything wrong To make a long story short, I drove it back to Grand Strand where Raymond put us at ease and assured us it would be fixed. The next day he called and told us that they had found the problem and fixed it. I recently purchased a used car from this dealership, and was extremely pleased with the overall experience. Nate and Victor were both so helpful, and accommodating. They were wonderful to work with, and made the process very easy and pleasant. The car needed some minor work done before I would buy it, and they went over and above to accommodate me. The car was ready on time the next day when I went to pick it up, and was cleaned and ready to go. I had been pre-approved for a loan with my credit union, and they were able to offer me a much more competitive rate with a bank, and made the entire process painless. I would highly recommend them, and would buy from them again.

I walked in Grand Strand Nissan to buy a preowned Murano and not only did I get a great deal (I was shocked) but I also received the most outstanding customer service I have ever experienced. The sales representative, Tommy Hall, made me feel like I was part of the family and when it came down to deciding which Murano to buy, Tommy had my best interest in mind and not his. Since I purchased the Murano I have had two follow-up calls just making sure I am enjoying my SUV.

They are easy to work with and very accommodating; giving first class attention to their customers. I recently got my vehicle serviced and give a big 'thumbs up' for the communication and customer service they provided. I hate taking my car in and spending time and money on it, but it can't be avoided ... they made it go smoothly and quickly and I felt that they were very reasonably priced. Had a horrible experience with Grand Strand Nissan. Will never buy a car here ever again. Would rather drive to the next nearest Nissan. BEWARE of financing! Be sure everything is explained to you after you do your own research!

Victor Daminov is the Internet Sales Manager, and was the first contact we had with Grand Strand Nissan. Over the course of the inquiries and request for special assistance, he was very accommodating. We lived about 100 miles away from this dealer and Victor made special arrangements for my wife and I to be able to see our vehicle of interest and test drive it. He also paved the way for making the deal we were happy with. Their Business Manager, Manny Gil, was also very supportive in wrapping up our purchase.

Drive an Infinity FX35. Stranded on vacation with no A/C in Myrtle Beach, took car to Grand Strand Nissan expecting the worse.Had major repairs done by Infinity of Gwinnett a few weeks ago which may or may not have caused my problem. Infinity of Gwinnett could not have been less helpful. Immediately denied any responsibility for the problem, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and quoted $738 to repair. I questioned how they could disclaim all responsibility and quoted without seeing it and they again told me that it "couldn't have been caused by them" and this was an easy and common repair.Took the car to Grand Strand. Terri was my Service Advisor. She was honest and professional. As she should have done, I was told it would cost $95 to diagnose and we "would go from there". One hour later she returned to tell me that the problem was caused by the repairman that worked on the car before them and it was an "easy fix". She charged only $95! I would have paid much more, yet she was honest and didn't take advantage of someone from out of state on vacation. I will recommend this dealer every time.

HiService: Tire installation, alignment and road force tire balancing.Pricing: Average Quality of work, well, make an opinion yourself: What can be more simple than tire installation, right? OK, they put the tires on - 2 tires were inside out. OK, I said to myself, sh*t happens. Another attempt, everything seems to be fine except one tire is leaking air for change. Went back and listen to the excuse they gave me:"you know, that happened because you did not provide us new stem valves (I had my own tires) so we used your old ones"....:-)). OK, I am not happy but whatever. Next day another tire is leaking air (!!!!!). Went back, this time they changed all remaining stem valves. BUT!!!! They did not balance tires properly again (after moving tire on and off the rims) steering vibrates strongly and car has a drift to the side. I went back 3 times(!!!) and they were not able to solve this simplest service request. Now imagine you need to fix a transmission problem....lol
