Janice helped me through the entire process. The dealership is honest and straight forward on all pricing. They detailed any available upgrades but were not at all pushy. I purchased the Nissan Kicks as a grad school graduation present for my daughter. She absolutely loves the Kicks. Her previous vehicle was a Nissan Altima. We’ve had a wonderful experience with the Nissan line of vehicles and with the staff at Gulf Coast Nissan. Our next purchase will be with Janice.

I usually buy a car every 18 months or so. I have a good handle on the car buying process. I usually come armed with CU approval to expedite the process. This was the first time I shopped at Gulf Coast Nissan and I'm glad I did. They allowed an extra $5k on my trade AND offered me a better price on a new Murano than 4 local Houston dealerships. When I presented the Credit Uniom check, there was no pressure from their finance team to run our credit. They did ask, but my CU is my preferred route. No pressure, served us all lunch, gave they kids a little hot wheel. The car was made ready before we got there. It took longer to get there and back than actual time spent at the dealership. I look forward to buying our next vehicle from them soon!!!

We dealt with two sales associates because we went in on two different occasions. I was impressed on the way they seem to work collectively as opposed yo competing against one another. They were both incredibly helpful and professional. Sales manager stepped outside to meet with us during our first visit and was helpful in answer additional questions. We also were pleasantly surprised that the price of vehicle was less than we had hoped!!! Will definitely use Gulf Coast Nissan in the future!

Jarrett Landreneau was very patient and proficient at explaining in a readily understood manner how to enjoy the many features on the Nissan Murano we were interested in purchasing. We felt no pressure to buy and did not experience any of the "what will it take to get you in this car today?" sales hassle that is practiced at other dealerships. He worked to get us a lower price and a higher trade-in for our old car. After we purchased the car, he spent at least an hour demonstrating in detail how to use the electronics and even synched up both of our i-phones to the blue tooth system. He went to the parts department and ordered all of the accessories we needed and introduced us to the other staff. We have never had such a pleasant car buying experience and did not suffer buyers remorse. We absolutely love our new Murano.

So, I had been in contact with Jarrett via phone and email about finding the perfect car for my expanding family. I wasn't able to come in everyday to look at different cars. I gave him a list of things I wanted and expected in a car. Like a car ninja he found exactly what I had hoped for. He got me hands down the best price. He made the process so easy even with my limitations. I was able to walk onto the lot test drive the car and an hour later drive off. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cars he had to sell. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Nissan. I was upfront about my needs and time period and never experienced any pressure to "buy now." I test drove with them 3 times before purchasing because I'd narrowed my search down to two cars. For me, the Maxima was a winner, and I'm glad I bought it from Gulf Coast. Matt Pena was very friendly and helpful, and I got a much, much better deal than I was offered at another Nissan dealership in town, both for trade-in and for final car price. My only, very minor nitpick is that the finance person didn't know you can choose to keep the plates off of the old car you're trading. We figured it out though, and I saved a few bucks there instead of buying new ones.Again, do not hesitate to come see them if you're in the market for a Nissan. I've had loads of dealership experiences, most of them terrible, but definitely not here. They were great; I would definitely buy from them again.

This was my second purchase from Gulf Coast Nissan, as well as from Ross Thull. My previous vehicle was totaled in the Houston flood and I contacted Ross right away. He was very responsive and patient with me as I navigated the insurance pay off and made sure I got a great deal. I purchased the 2016 Nissan Rogue and I love it! Ezzerd from Finance made sure that the transaction was a smooth one and Matt helped me figure out all the technical upgrades. I've already left a review, actually more than one. The first was great, but then after finding out your team failed at getting me financed, then lied about getting me financed and allowed me to drive the car home under the impression that everything was fine and then had the nerve to contact my company and harass the employees instead of contacting me directly, my review definitely changed. Then your company decided to pull my credit AGAIN without my consent. This could turn into a legal battle and a call from the BBB if I decide to pursue that route, depending on if you hold your end of the agreement and have the inquiry removed from my credit report. I was told this would be resolved, but your manager can't even follow up with clients to check and make sure they held their agreement. (It's been 2 months now) Also, because of your companies incompetence, I had to take time out of my day to drive back to the dealership and resign paperwork again, and after asking for another temporary license plate, I was told to let it expire and then ask. This risked me getting a citation while showing clients around Houston. Still have yet to receive a follow up call from your manager...so do you really think you would like a customer as disappointed and dissatisfied like myself to leave ANOTHER review of your terrible customer service and fraudulent credit check? I would be more than happy to spread the word.

The asst sales manager and finance manager were just as helpful. We told them where our payments needed to be and they did all they could to get us there. Went to purchase vehicle tried for three days to purchase vehicle first day wasn't so bad I was promised the moon that never happened . l was told they were waiting on banks with approval . I also was told just 5 minutes and everything would be in order well the 5 times I was told 5 minutes kept being a hour and a half each time and after a couple of hours of standing and sitting I ask salesman to ask fiance manager what was going on he replied I can't bother him he will yell at me not a good response to a customer. Then I finally got my own financing through a credit union and the invoice and buyer agreement never was faxed to credit union. Final and last thing is never got a decent trade in value was way below book value after all why expect truth I was dealing with salesmen or cons? Waste of time I have choosen another Nissan dealership and things are going smooth. I guess you cant let one bad experience ruin a car buying experience I know I will never return there again.

I went to Gulf coast Nissan to see a new Maxima. Zach was able to easily answer all my questions and put no pressure on me to purchase after my first test drive. After thinking about other options for a week, I went back to see if I could get the deal I wanted on the Maxima. Zach and Cory worked with me and got me the deal I wanted with almost no time wasted. I"m normally very skeptical when I see a 5 star rating on anything, especially car sales because we all know a lot of reviews are fake these days. I would actually give a 4.5 if I could, because no car buying experience is perfect, but it was still very pleasant and I got what I wanted at a very fair price.I'd been searching for a 2016 Nissan Maxima fo3r a few weeks, and I noticed they had a few models whose price point seemed anywhere from 1-4kcheaper than any Nissan dealer in the greater Houston area. Wary of the old "bait and switch" tactic that so many dealers these days use just to get you on the lot (showing a low internet price and then when you get there saying the car is sold or even worse, it was a mistake and they can't sell it at that price, but what about this OTHER model), I contacted Yvonne Hinojosa to confirm the price. She indicated that was the correct price and they would honor it when I arrived. When I arrived, Yvonne was not able to help me, but Matthew Pena showed me the car and took me for a test drive. I liked it a lot, and I was ready to purchase, and they really worked to make it hassle free. They gave me a fair amount for my trade in (I'd researched on KBB.com and Autotrader), and did not sneak anything into the final car price except the standard dealer add ons which are for some reason never included in the internet price. Wheel locks were 150 bucks, when you can get them for 20 at any auto store. Tint was 295, which i'm sure I could've gotten much cheaper elsewhere but it was already on the car, and then pinstriping, which I've never been a fan of and do not like, but also cost extra. But that was it, I really liked the car, I got a really good deal on it (I'd been researching Truecar, Autotrader and Edmunds for fair prices for the same vehicle, so I didn't bother trying to haggle with them about it. I realize dealers need to make a little bit of money in order to continue operations so We came to an agreement. They did not try to sneak anything else in the price, I went to the finance office, and the manager asked if I wanted GAP insurance or an extended warranty, and that was it. we completed the paperwork while they cleaned and prepped the car, and then I was on my way within about two hours of deciding to actually purchase. Overall it was a very hassle free, low pressure car buying experience, and although the drive to Angleton is a pain in the a**, I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone. I hope they keep up the good customer service here. See either Matt or Yvonne and they will take good care of you.

I have been shopping around for a new car both online and at car dealer. The price have been too high and the dealers would not go down on the price . I try one more time and this time with Gulf Coast Nissan and you know what " I was successful". I just love the sales lady (Paulette Kovarnik) that help me. Not only did she work with me on price but she went out of her way to help me with my financing. I was surprise to see how much APR it receive. To sum it up you must go to this car dealer to get " What I like to Call" the best deal around. The will bet all other dealer around Houston. Just give a chance and you will not regret it. I know a lot of you people out there will think that this dealer is paying me to advertise this, but I'll tell all of you that you are wrong!!! No one is paying me to do this. I just love the way they handle there business! So come in!!!!

I came with an attitude, that a deal could not be made. Young Chris asked for the chance. Between him and the Sales Manager, they made the deal work to what I needed. They were both very attentive to what I said and ended making the deal I needed. These two impressed me very much in their efforts to find the deal which would work. Along with both of their friendliness and openness on any issues I brought up. If the rest of the staff will work as these two did, you have a great staff.I would recommend your dealership, based solely on my interaction with them. I have not yet used your service department, but have strong intentions of doing so. My vehicle did have a small factory imperfection, which the sales manager was swift to respond to and the body shop did an outstanding job on it.Over all, this was the best vehicle purchase experience of my life.

I went to this local dealership not expecting to make a deal. I understand Houston dealers are able to offer better deals due to higher sales and less overhead. I simply wanted to give the local guys a chance. I told them this up front and they appreciated the chance to meet the Houston pricing I had already received. They were very friendly and respectful of my time. I was in and out in less than 3 hours and had my new car. We all know buying a car can be an all day, or multiple day process. My only issue was the trade-in. They low-balled it at first but once I showed them the value I acquired for my trade-in on their website, they met it and never hassled. Do your homework up front, go in prepared with your numbers and they will work with you to meet or beat any other offer.I was very happy with the overall experience.

On Saturday 12-07-2013 my wife viewed www.gulfcoastnissan.com to look for a Nissan car for her mother. She noticed the closeout sale on the 2013 Nissan Maxima, and was instantly intrigued. We were particularly interested in stock number DC835523. I called the dealership and spoke with a young man named Cody Henry. I questioned him to see if the car that we were interested in was still available. He checked, and confirmed that it was still available. It was 15 minutes until the dealership closed, so we agreed to meet on Monday 12-09-2013 to complete the sale when my mother-in-law got off of work. We arrived at the dealership around 4:05pm and met with Cody. We viewed the car and took it for a test drive. My mother-in-law fell in love with the car, so we went inside to do the paperwork. Cody asked about the price that we had seen on the internet, and proceeded to look it up. He then went to speak with the manager. When Cody returned he had a form showing the car price, discount, TT&L, etc We noticed that the price was more than $4,000.00 higher than what we saw on the internet. We questioned him, and he went to speak with the manager again. We have an image of the website showing the car and the price that was displayed on the internet when we spoke with Cody on Saturday. We provided a copy of this to Cody, and he took it to the manager. Cody returned again with the internet manager who offered an apology for his mistake of improperly advertising the car. Cody and the internet manager stated that the Nissan manager would not honor the price quoted on the internet, but offered their assurances that the car was still an excellent buy at more than $4,000.00 above the posted internet price. We explained to them that my mother-in-law was stretching herself to purchase the car at the posted price of $18,384.00, but could not pay more for the car. They of course offered a lesser car or to see if they could finance the car for a longer term to keep the payments down. I told them that we were not interested in doing business with a company that would not honor the pricing that they posted, and we left the dealership. On 12-10-2013 I sent seperate emails to Davis Baldwin (Dealer), Mark Holian (General Manager), and Mickey Batson (Managing Partner), and Peter Kohler (eBusiness Director) explaining what had happened, and requesting that they honor the price that was posted. Peter Kohler was the only one of these managers that bothered to responded to my complaint. I later found out that Peter was the internet manager that previously apologized. His email response was an echo of his apology, and he stated that he would check with the Nissan Manager to see if anything could be done. I've not received a response since. I have never met Arnold Arevalo (Nissan Manager) because although we were very unhappy at the dealership, he did not speak with us directly. He is the one that refuses to honor the price that they posted on the internet.

From my experience at Gulf Coast Nissan, I will not be doing business with this dealership anymore - which is hard for me because I am a loyal customer. When I purchased my vehicle I had issues getting my tag. It wasn't until after getting the major run around that I finally received my tag - well after two paper tags expired. I finally had to contact my salesman who got things taken care of. A couple of weeks after purchasing the car I got a nail in my tire. The warranty book for my vehicle indicates that there is a warranty including road hazard on the tires. I called the service department and was informed that there was no warranty on the tires and I would have to purchase a new tire.Approximately 11 months after purchasing the vehicle there were some mechanical issues with the engine. The dealership had the car for a week and supposedly replaced a part. However, the car is not fixed. The check engine light is on. I asked the girl what code the check engine light was throwing and she said that it threw the code that "you need a new engine". I have sent the car to be checked by three different mechanics and was told that there was no code for that. After having the car checked by other mechanics, I feel pretty skeptical that any work was done on the vehicle at all.The dealership will not honor the warranty on the car that has less than 40,000 miles. The indicated that it was because of issues with the oil. I have taken the car to three different mechanics who told me that the car does not need a new engine, and that what is wrong with the engine has nothing to do with the oil. The other mechanics are reluctant to make repairs on the vehicle because they say that everything should be covered under warranty and they urge me to go back to the dealership.When I had problems with my tag, the folks that I had to deal with were somewhat short and rude. Then, the gal in the service department that I was discussing my car with was extremely rude. Apparently their customer service goes out the window once they have your cash in hand. Buyer beware. This is my first Nissan, and it will be my last. I will not be returning to any of the Gulf Coast Auto dealerships for purchasing another vehicle. Since 2001 I have purchased cars from other Toyota, Honda, and Ford dealerships in two states - none of them have had such low quality customer service after the sale.

We visited the dealership two times to shop for a new car for my son, my daughter and my wife.Cory was very helpful and courteous and efficient each time. We have purchased a new Sentra for my son and are very pleased with the vehicle and the features we selected with Cory's help.Some of the other things we remember about our Sentra experience with Cory was he guided us professionally and quickly with his personal recommendations for options to consider; he explained the details of financing options very well, he identified availability of non-standard options- particularly the backup sensors which we highly valued. Once the car the ordered he did an excellent job of communicating when, what, how the car would be brought to the dealership, prepped, and fully ready for us to receive. He wouldn't let us leave until he was satisifed that we knew the layout of the automobile and how to use the most important features on the car. Thanks, Cory!!!And, yes, we want to come back to this dealership when my wife and daughter are ready to purchase a Nissan.

We purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder (Platinum). Shane Sullivan was our sales person and Johnny Nerio our Sales Manager. They gave us an excellent price on the vehicle. Shane is a very humble, respectful and straightforward salesman. We felt he was on our side during the negotiation process. Even after the sale, I had questions about the vehicle and he was always there to answer them. He truly cares for his costumers, not only for the sale. I went there on a Tuesday to take a look at the vehicle. On Wednesday, my wife joined me and we drove the vehicle home that same night. Gulf Coast Nissan is a great overall dealership. The service department is great. I can always make appointments for oil change on Saturdays, usually in and out on ~20 min. I requested quotes online. Shane Sullivan contacted me shortly afterwards and I made an appointment to come to the dealership. I was not really ready to buy a vehicle that day, but the dealership was willing to work with me to get the deal I could afford. The dealer was very diligent in getting me payments that I was comfortable with. I am so happy I took the drive from Pearland to Angleton. It was worth the trip. I would recommend Gulf Coast 100%. I was amazed at how little the sales staff knew about their product. I had to tell them that the Maxima only took premium fuel as a reson why I would not buy that car. They seemd to be woefully unaware of the accessories available and overall product knowledge was poor. They did not give the full "how to use the car" discussion when I picked up my new Nissan Altima and they knew even less about the accessories available for the model I purchased. You would think they would look on the Nissan website and get to know what it is they are selling. If it wasn't for the convenience of this location I would have bought elsewhere.

I wasn't even looking to buy a car when I came into the Gulf Coast Dealership. I had planned on just doing some research while my car was getting fixed. I walked along the lot and Shane Sullivan came out to the car where I was looking. I explained my situation and that I was only killing time and wanted to look around and see what I might want next in the way of a vehicle. He told me the best thing to do would be to just get in a few and try them out. He was a no pressure salesman and extremely knowledgable about all of the cars that I wanted to check out. What he didn't know, he found out quick! What I liked the most was his hang back and wait for questions demeanor. I HATE being pressured...especially when they start talking about trade ins and financing before you even look carefully at the car. He helped me to look at every Nissan, Toyota, Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick on the lot and patiently sat back waiting for my questions. I came back to the first make of car that the search started with, and I couldn't be more happy that I didn't feel rushed into a particular type or kind of car. I wish Shane the best of luck in his sales career with Gulf Coast and have dutifully handed out many of his cards to anyone that stops to admire my shiny new Maxima! You Rock!!!

We decided on replacing my wife's existing vehicle due to high mileage and concerned about potential costs to keep the car maintained. After doing some research, we were interested in a Nissan Murano. I once owned an Infiniti (a Nissan vehicle) and felt comfortable with the Nisaan brand an reputation. The main driver for selecting this dealership was location to my home, just a few miutes away and I did not want take any new vehicle a large distance for maintenance and dealer support. I had already bought one vehicle at the Gulf Coast dealerships, an F-150, and my experience with Gulf Coast has been positive.Brandon Morgan was our sales representaive and was very helpful with our selection and answered all of my question about the Murano model. This was important since this was our 1st look at this model. They had a vehicle on the lot, a Platinum model that had all the features we wanted. I was very particular on what I expected for my trade-in and what we were wanting to ultimately invest in the new car. Brandon was very helpful and our purchase and purchase price were right on,and we appreciate his assistance in the process. We were driving out of the lot within an hour and a half and since the purchase we had the vehicle returned for its initial oil change.Overall, a very good experience and my wife is very happy about her new Murano. I finally arrived at Gulf Coast from houston (checking out other tundras) and he waited patiently for me to get there. Very professional in my opinion. It was almost time for gulf coast to close but John stayed there to make the sale and didn't try to rush me or anything. Two thumbs up for that. In just 10 minutes of being there, i was already comfortable versus getting haggled at Champion Toyota for over an hour. Anyhow, John got me a great deal for what i was wanting and you guys had the truck there (which Champion did not). Let me start out by saying that I have purchased new cars previously and have also dealt with car salesmen before--most of whom fit the typical "Car Salesman" profile. I even had a guy one time loose my car keys intentionally because he was angry that we did not want to take the car he was trying to push off on us. I love filling out customer service surveys because I believe whatever you are doing--it should be whole-souled and the absolute best you can give. I also believe that largely in these times --that customer service is dead. I went to Gulf Coast Nissan in Angleton Texas to buy a new car. I test drove a Nissan Cube which we LOVED immediately after the test drive. Our sales associate Shane Sullivan was polite and customer service oriented--NOT creepy or hounding like some stereotypical car salesmen are. He did not use any stupid tactics or any idiocracies you can typically pick up a mile away when dealing with other car salesmen. There was no pressure--and again he was all about the customer. There were no hidden tactics-no shystery or shennanigans. Everything was explained up front and was forthright. It didn't feel like we were buying a car--more like we were dealing with friends. Shane is an excellent example of taking personal interest and being totally invested in the customer. The Sales Manager Johnny Niero was also very acommodating and friendly. Their communication skills were also excellent--our car had to be brought in from a different area and calls were made at the time promised to both my wife and mine's cell phones to ensure we were notified. The finance manager Ezzard Sam was also a real pleasure to deal with. In an age where customer service has largely gone by the wayside--it is awesome to see that there are still some that value it and champion its' principles these days. I cannot say enough good about this dealership and the values it instills in its' employees. I have been recommending it to others and will definately return to buy future cars my family needs.

When I purchased my vehicle I received the paper tag on it. The expiration date of the tag came and went. I spoke with the sales manager and specifically asked him to hold the tag for me and I would pick it up. When I heard nothing from him, I called and was told that the business office mailed the tag. I waited two weeks, still no tag and no word from the dealership. I went in for an oil change and asked again about my tag. One of the salespeople (not my original one) said that he would personally look into my tag and call me first thing the next Monday morning. Of course, no call. Finally on Tuesday I called the business office and again asked about my tag. (I've now owned the vehicle for two and a half months.) The business office informed me that they actually never mailed the tag to me; in fact they never even sent off for it in the first place. They told me that they had an expedited request in for the tag and everything should be settled in 24 hours. That was two days ago. Still no word from the dealer and no tag. Initially my experience with this dealership was very positive. It has very quickly deteriorated.

David Lackey was recommended by a friend and proved worthy of the recommendation. He was very friendly and professional. He answered all our questions and gave us CarFax information. He also complied with our request to check to see if any warranty work had been done through Nissan on the car. The antenna was missing from the car and he replaced it for us. He called us a couple of weeks later to see if we had any questions and if everything was all right with the car. I think Gulf Coast Nissan should be proud to have such a conscientious employee.We also purchased a Nissan Ultima from Gulf Coast Nissan in 2004. im really glad i purchased my vehicle at gulf coast nissan. the sales employee was patient, friendly, and helped us in all way possible. if any friend or family member asks me where should they buy a car defintely i'll say gulf coast nissan.

Working with my Salesman Blaine Williams at the Nissan Dealer was very Professional. He made myself & my 12 year old son very comfortable and feel like Family. Blaine was able to help us to get the absolute best deal that worked for us. It was alot of hard work for all of the staff to make this happen with the Aircheck Houston program. They were able to put us in a awsome HHR vehicle with extremly low miles that should serve our family well for many years to come. It exceded my expections. My 12 year old said when he gets older that he would buy his vehicles at Gulf Coast! Thanks for all of your hard work to make this happen!!!

The reason I gave this high review is that I went to the dealer ship to just look at a used truck and David showed up with the truck I purchased and everything went through the same day. David was very helpful and I have recomened him in the past and also shortly after I purchased my truck.

Buying a car is extemely stressful and I had been to serveral dealerships prior to going to Gulf Coast Nissan and had been screwed around on price quotes with a couple of them. Our sales representative was extremely and was willing to take the extra step to make sure I was happy. Once everything was agreed upon it was a very easy process. Also the financial guy was extremely nice and helpful. I had a great experience with Nissan and would recommend you going to them and would go back to buy my next car.
