They are very caring until you buy the the car then the service is is like they are doing you a favor. I recently took my car there in Sept and my bill ended up to be $303. They locked my keys in my car & I had to wait until they located my keys locked in the car. I told them I had a second set & instead of apologizing for the wait I received an excuse why that happened. I bought my car in 2012 and since then I have never received good service. At least when I go to Vavoline they vacuum my car and wash my windows. This Nissan just takes your money and when they screw up makes excuses.

I just purchased a used Rogue Select about a week ago. It was a great deal and friendly atmosphere. Very different from the experience I had at another dealership earlier in the day. I was pre-approved through my credit union when I arrived, but the finance department was still able to save me some money by finding a better deal with another area credit union. I would definitely recommend Gunn Nissan when looking for your next car.

Second car we have gotten from Gunn. Both times it went perfectly. Walked in and gave Derrick an idea of what we wanted and it didn't take long we were taking a test drive. Made our decision and did the paperwork. The whole process only took 3 hours. Walk in find the car finance and drive off the lot. Simply put the whole experience was amazing. Gunn Nissan on loop 410 and Broadway has THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the city of San Antonio. I did not originally purchase my Nissan from this dealership but get my maintenance done here. The staff is unbelievably NICE! From the moment you drive in to the moment you step back in to your car. I was there Monday 4/11/2016. The Chauffeur ( Jose) who drove me to my office was so nice! Very respectful and courteous! as so the rest of the staff, it is people like the ones who work at Gunn Nissan who make me return to certain businesses in the city. I recommend this dealership =)

I went in for oil change and drove out with a NEW car. Massey Center made buying a new car so easy. He was so helpful and patient with me and answered all my questions. While i waited for oil change, he remembered me from three years earlier when I bought my Juke . He really went out of his way to work with me on upgrading my vehicle. I never felt pressured. He was so professional. A truly exceptional car buying experience.

I do not recommend buying a vehicle from Gunn Nissan. I bought a Certified Used 2012 Rogue. I had to have mechanical work on it 4 times in the first 2 months. I moved out of state and they still didn't have all of the problems fixed. The salesman I worked with, Marcos Tijerina, neglected to help me with the car issues and my plates. I had to email him repeatedly and communicate explicitly just to get the most basic assistance. John, the service manager, lied to my face multiple times about my issue being fixed. Dennis, in Customer Retention, thought that a keychain and $15 in gift cards would fix everything. This is a very large purchase for most people. Gift cards and keychain are not sufficient for me to recommend conducting business with people I found to be less than honorable.

Purchased my first brand new car from Gunn Nissan and was very pleased with the whole experience. Although Kyle Johnson was still fairly new to the sales team, he did an awesome job for us. The finance managers were also very gracious to do all my paperwork over again when I decided to change banks after having the car for a week. Awesome people to deal with!

I purchased a new vehicle today and from the time I stepped out of my current vehicle I was treated like Royalty. Someone greeted me and escorted me in to see the person I had an appointment with [Frank Wallace]. Mr. Wallace was at the door and I didn't even have to wait as he greeted me with a big smile and nice hand shake. He was prepared for me and I didn't have to wait very long at all. I really appreciated that because it gave me time to do other things that I needed to do before returning home. He found the perfect car in the perfect color and that makes me happy. I purchased a car from this dealership back in 2013 and didn't have to guess as to where I would purchase another one from. I like being treated nice and getting top quality which is what I get that from this dealership.

The Express Lane was actually express this visit. And they do a complete multi-point vehicle inspection with the oil change. This inspection may seem like a ploy to add on more work (and more profit) to the dealership BUT it can uncover serious problems you need to be aware of. In my case the inspection detected several nails in one of my tires which a dying tire pressure sensor had masked (I had ignored the fact that that tire always needed a couple of pounds more air pressure than the others.) Now Matthew (the service writer) told me it was a slow leak but since we going to Dallas the next day for a gymnastics meet I had Gunn Nissan replace it. Not cheap but it was quick. Thanks!

Our experience at Gunn Nissan was beyond what we expected. We went in the day after a holiday and didn't expect to leave in a new certified pre-owned Nissan Rogue. The salesman, Alex Carrera was friendly and helpful. We gave him an idea of our budget plus our needs and he quickly found our winning choice on the lot, ready to go. We had lots of questions, but he patiently addressed all our concerns. Even through the financing process, the business manager Socrates Lopez was equally patient and informative. We would definitely recommend sending anyone interested in buying a car to Gunn Nissan and look forward to dealing with them in the future.

I have gone Gunn Nissan for years! I take my 2010 Nissan Maxima for any minor or major work that needs to be done. The service department are fantastic and most recently met John Hernandez the Service manager. He was so helpful and told my husband and I different options we had and made sure we were taken care! This review is being posted over a year after buying two vehicles from Gunn Nissan back in October 2014. During this time I have had several experiences with both sales and service to deliver a thorough review.Sales: Our salesperson was Derrick Berlanga and there aren't enough superlatives to express how satisfied we were with him. Derrick was exceptionally professional and didn't push anything on us. He answered all of our questions and demonstrated a strong knowledge of the Nissan product. My wife was the first to purchase from Derrick as she needed to replace her old Corolla. My purchase was that I wanted a car, not needed. I became interested in the redesigned Nissan Rogue as my wife was purchasing her Murano.Derrick was very professional and respectful when my wife was making her purchase, speaking to her directly rather than addressing the husband as I've seen done in other dealerships. He treated her and myself very professionally and courteously, which was why I decided to seek out Derrick when I purchased my Nissan Rogue just a few days later.Derrick was also excellent on follow-through, something sadly lacking in business today, but well demonstrated by Derrick during our purchase and post-sale. He was very responsive when my wife's license plate was slightly late in arriving and kept us updated. In summation, I would definitely recommend Derrick Berlanga to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.Pricing: Here's where I found Gunn to be the most unique in all of my car buying experiences. I've been buying new cars since 1985 and have always had to play the usual game of back and forth, hoping to come out with a fair deal. I've seen my share of foursquare and other xxxxx to confuse and extract more profit from the customer. I am old enough to recall when dealers would try their best to ensure you are a satisfied customer so that you'll return to buy from them in the future.Gunn's prices were excellent, way ahead of the other area dealers. My wife's Murano was an excellent example of how good their discounts are, almost $10,000 in her case. They also gave my wife a fair price for her trade-in. Combined with a healthy down-payment and she walked out the door with a luxury SUV for almost half the MSRP on the sticker.My experience was similar, although the vehicle I was trading had poor resale value. But Derrick managed to get as best a price on my trade-in. Again, I was impressed with the Gunn prices, having compared them to other area Nissan dealers. Gunn's prices were consistently lower. I like that.Service: Here's another area where Gunn really shines. Professional, courteous and helpful. Consistent experiences so far when my wife and I have taken our vehicles in for servicing and for my wife, the flat tire and occasional low air pressure warning. In all cases including the unplanned and unscheduled flat tire repair, Gunn's service advisors were top-notch in accommodating her and treating her well. For you guys reading this, you know how it feels to have peace of mind knowing your wife will be treated fairly and honestly.My service advisor the past two times I've been for maintenance has been Matthew Hernandez and he has been consistently excellent each time. Efficient, professional and polite, he makes the visit a good one each time. My wife's service advisor on our last visit was Ignacio Inocencio (I think, the paper cut off his surname) and he was, like Matthew, efficient, professional and polite, making her experience a good one.We have both had our vehicles receive a car wash after being serviced, which was a nice detail. All these details add up to a consistently exceptional experience with Gunn Nissan.Issues: Pleased to say there weren't any major pre or post-sale issues. As mentioned previously my wife's tags were a bit late in arriving but Derrick Berlanga kept us updated as he pursued the issue. Also my address was incorrect on some documentation, but that was taken care of. In retrospect, I may have missed that omission when cross-checking all the paperwork in the Finance department.Summary: I've purchased many vehicles over the years and have come away from some dealerships with some sort of issue or negative experience, be it in the sales process or service. I've been to some dealerships locally whose tactics or staff have left a definite impression that I don't want to deal with them again, but that is not the case at Gunn.My wife and I are very pleased with our purchases and service experiences at Gunn, I am impressed with their commitment to excellent customer service and feel their prices were consistently better than the competition's. I recommend Gunn to anyone looking for a new Nissan or used vehicle and for servicing their existing vehicle.

It's ten years since I bought a car and I had been considering various brands. Gunn has a policy of offering just one, lowest price. Compared with other Nissan dealers they were the cheapest. Massie Center was my salesman. Massie was very professional and I will buy from him again.The finance person was another story. I had to be on-guard. Even after declining all the stuff, the finance guy slipped in an extra $600+ worth of extras on the contract and said the $600 would be refunded to me in a couple of weeks. I had to hold my ground and he wrote a new contract.

My experience with this Dealership is so frustrating and sad because they new my car was having problems with the transmission and they new my car qualified under lemon law, however when we spoke to Mark Anthony Garcia he was so rude and disrespectful to us and he said that my car didn't qualify under lemon law , instead he was selling us a new car and finance for another 60 months , so we left the building and spoke to Nissan Customer Service and they help me , my car was repurchased under lemon law.

I've always loved Gunn Nissan for their quick service. Whenever I take my car in, it's usually fixed by the time I walk home (I just live down the street). Recently, they went beyond expectation when I bought a used car from them for my teenage son. The catalytic converter needed to be replaced two weeks after purchase, and even though it was not under warranty, the GM Derrick Alvis, called me and had the work done at no extra charge. I am a loyal customer and some places that still matters--especially at Gunn. Can't say enough good things about them!!Thank you!!

My husband and I were looking to get a new car but had never dealt with a car dealership before. Victor made our first experience with a dealership an extremely pleasant one! He was so informative, helpful and attentive! He kept asking if we had any questions or needed anything and made sure we were knowledgeable about the wonderful product we were buying. Victor was also very easy to talk to and made us feel like we were purchasing a vehicle from a family member. We told him what we were looking for and he made sure we got just that, so we knew he was listening to our needs. With his help we left Gunn Nissan with a brand new car and a smile on our faces.

We went to Gunn to purchase a new truck for my husband. While we were waiting for it to be detailed, I took a look at the Rogue in the showroom. Elaine, who had been helping my husband with the truck purchase, went over the vehicle with me. She was very knowledgeable about the car and it was very easy to have a normal conversation with her. Over the next week, I selected a vehicle from their online inventory and Elaine was fantastic about handling most of the transaction via email. We live over 2 hours away from Gunn so her willingness to email was a huge time saver. When I arrived to complete the transaction, the car was ready and waiting with the window tint completed and the floor mats I requested. It was hands down the most convenient car purchase I've ever made and Elaine and Akaki were a pleasure to work with. This is the third vehicle I've purchased from Gunn and as long as I live in the area, I won't go anywhere else.

It's been a while since we visited Gunn Nissan due to our cars being such great quality, we have not had to return to buy a new one. However, we came in yesterday to buy my daughter a new, reliable car before she heads to college. I thought this was guaranteed to give me a headache. Instead, I found Victor who made it a breeze. He was friendly, honest, and genuine in his talking to us. No pushiness, no gimmicks, no lies. Price up front and we got a great deal on a 2015 Sentra. I've always loved Nissan for their great quality of cars and their staff. This buying experience, a great new car, and a wonderful sales consultant just renewed the love we have for Gunn Nissan.

I recently bought my first car from Gunn Nissan! Even though this was MY first car, my family has been buying cars from the Gunn family since the mid 1990's. This car was our 5th vehicle from Gunn. You would think after all these years and all these purchases I would go straight to one of the Gunn locations to purchase my car first; that's not the case. I shopped around for years, made spreadsheets, visited various locations with the "best deal" for specific cars (according to the app with the bell curve...). Those locations either didn't have the selection or pressured me into cars I wasn't interested in making me feel less than worthy of service. Not at Gunn Nissan (or any Gunn for that matter). From sales, to financing, to the general manager--everyone is happy to help at anytime. My representative Raul still remembered me two weeks after my purchase, remembered what I do for a living, and got me a key cover. Not only does Gunn give amazing, comprehensive buying options even if you are just looking, Gunn provides a comfortable environment for buyers with bonuses like free waters, owners classes (like a how to get the most out of your Nissan i.e. tech. and gadgets class), and massages while your car is getting services. I haven't used these resources yet, but I don't know of other dealers going this far to ensure customer satisfaction. My customer loyalty is going to be continued, and I'm happy to be a part of the Gunn family.

My husband and I had been in the market for a 2014 Pathfinder for several months. With 2 very young kids we had a hard time finding time to go car shopping. Whike looking online several weeks ago we found one that seemed to meet what we wanted at Gunn Nissan. We live over an hour from the dealership so I was very worried that we would get there and find the car was "too good to be true." We worked with Marcos who was very patient reassuring me that the car was in excellent shape and that he was not interested in hiding anything that might surprise us when we got there in person. We made the trip and it was worth it - everything Marcos told me about the car was true - it had very low milage and was in very good shape. My husband and I were bummed about a few small scratches because it would be perfect otherwise and they actually had those fixed for us - yay!

Victor was a great salesman. We were able to have a normal conversation without the pushy questions from a negotiation dealer. In case you don't know, Gunn Nissan is a no-haggle dealership, which basically means it's like going to a store and buying something. If the product costs $3.99 + tax, that's the price. There is no asking for a lower or higher price. I thought it was just word games at first and didn't fully believe there was no haggling, but it was, in fact, the case. It made things way easier and it showed in the customer service. The salesmen are paid on salary, not on volume or commission. My wife and I really enjoyed our experience there and will be returning next time we are in need of a vehicle. Also, Isaac, one of the finance employees recommened SoLuna to eat later. It is a Mexican restaurant right around the corner from the dealership and the food is AMAZING. We had the enchiladas and now we have to go back. We also took some of their green salsa and orange salsa to go because we loved it so much. Thanks, Isaac!

In December 2014 my Avalanche was giving me problems, that is when i decided to go vehicle shopping. My wife wanted a car this time and finally we decided on the Nissan Altima. I work near Gunn Nissan so that's where i went and as i was looking at a car, Victor Magallenes introduced himself. Victor was very knoweadgeable and helpful through the whole process. I told him my situation, budget and what i wanted in the car and Victor delivered.I did start looking a little late but Victor stayed with me till i drove off the lot after 10pm!!!! I have bought a few cars in the past and have never had this kind of awesome service. I will buy my next car from Victor!!

I have had some bad buying car experiences before that's why is why I came to Gunn for the "no hassle" experience. I did my homework and I did visit several other dealerships. I was so happy to have found Elaine Eubanks as my salesperson. She was friendly and knowledgeable of the product. She listen to my wants and needs and directed me to the 2015 Murano. I was blown away when she demonstrated all the features of the Murano. Elaine did not pressure me but she let me decide what I wanted. When my wife came in to see the car, Elaine once again went through the whole demonstration with her. She really made us feel comfortable. We decided to buy but the style and model was unavailable. Elaine helped us secure the model we wanted a week later. She was excellent in her updates and follow through. Elaine is someone we felt we could trust and that was the most important aspect of our buying from Gunn. Elaine then directed us to the finance officer Dennis Manlapaz. I was tough on Dennis but he handled all my questions and really explained clearly all the aspects of buying the car. He too was someone I came to trust and felt he was there to help me make the best possible purchase. Both Elaine and Dennis made this the best car buying experience in my life. I would definitely come back to buy a car in the future.Thanks Elaine and Dennis

Great experience buying a 2015 Murano. Elaine Eubanks did a great job helping me find the right car. She listened to me and answered all my questions. I was looking at trading my 2007 nissan frontier for a 2011 nissan pathfinder. I did everything online. I told them I wanted the NADA value for the truck which was between 9000 & 12000, they came back at 10500, sight unseen. When I finally got to the dealership, the pathfinder was ready, and they did a formal assessment on the truck, and came back only 400 lower. Which was great, seeing that the truck needed a couple of repairs. During financing, the finance manager noticed that I have used NMAC before, and gave me a betting financing rate, from 5.4% to 2.24%, i didn't even have to haggle for a better rate. Gunn Nissan was awesome, especially Cornell G, Internet sales rep, and AK, the finance manager.

In April 2015, my husband Carlos and I went to Gunn Nissan to look at used vehicles. Victor Magallenes found exactly what we were looking for in a Nissan Murano. We were and still are absolutely delighted with the car and excellent service we received at Gunn Nissan. Had an issue with my car a few weeks later and Gunn Nissan did not hesitate to make things right. They put me in a loaner car until the problem was resolved--no questions. Tim Elkey made sure everything was taken care of quickly and correctly. We could not have asked for more. That's why, when Carlos' truck blew up on him, it was a no-brainer on where we should go to get our next vehicle. Today, we purchased a 2015 Nissan Frontier and, again, are super pleased with the truck and sales personnel, which included Victor, Brian, Kell (who is in training, but actually worked as a seasoned sales professional that went above and beyond in ensuring we were completely satisfied with our options) , and Alejandro Carrera (Kell's mentor). Kell and Alejandro were so patient in dealing with us. They listened to our requests and kept within the budget we established. They honored us with respect and courtesy, while making us feel comfortable, like family. Brian Blount was a professional. He coordinated everything when Carlos & I were provided the loaner vehicle and when we had to prepare the documents for Finance. Brian worked patiently with me and helped me understand the procedures--very helpful and patient. Mandell provided the same great and exceptional service in Finance that we experienced the last time. (even if he refused to help us out this time with any rebates--jk! ) :) Definitely will come back, should we need another vehicle. I am so happy that my husband and I came to Gunn and met Victor Magallenes. My previous car buying experience had been awful. Yesterday, I had the best experience in my life buying a car. Victor listened to what I wanted and did not try to sell me something I was not wanting or needing. He explained the car in detail and took the time to show us the many options available. He was not pushy but rather a pleasant salesperson who was helpful and informative. Nissan is a car that sells itself but exceptional service is what seals the deal to me. Thanks to Victor - I am a happy Nissan customer and new Nissan Rogue owner. I am smiling!! I will highly recommend Gunn Nissan and Victor Magallanes. It's a winning combination. This is typical of every car dealer I've done business with; after you pick your car and make it into the finance office, beware of all the extra crap they add. Some of it you may want, but a lot of it you don't because all it does is add to your bottom line and doesn't benefit you at all. You'll have to pay close attention when the finance person goes over everything you'll be signing. Don't be afraid to say no to anything and if it doesn't feel right, just get up and leave.

I just purchased my 2nd Altima from Gunn Nissan. I spent more time test driving Altima's with different levels of equipment and deciding which one I wanted than the dealership did on all of the deal paperwork and financing. Our salesperson, Suzanne, was helpful and informative. The sales and finance managers were also pleasant to work with and very quick and getting things done. Total time spent at the dealership was only about 2 1/2 hours.

Gunn Nissan, and our sales support John Jimenez, were an absolute pleasure to work with on a recent purchase on a Nissan Certified 2013 Rogue SV for our daughter. She needed a replacement ride after storm damages from hail storm totaled out her prior Mazda sedan. We worked with John over the phone, then drove down from Austin, inspected, test drove, purchased and financed the Rogue in just a few hours on a Saturday. John even came in on his day off to work with our schedule. Can't say enough how pleased we are with the honesty, integrity and straight dealing at Gunn , and with Mr. Jimenez. Five Stars dealer!

**Update** 4/2015 - I was contacted directly by the GM at Gunn Nissan. He opened an investigation into my below referenced issue and explained Gunn has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to these sorts of problems. I returned the vehicle to him so they could review my concerns. Both he and the service manager inspected the vehicle and invited me out to the maintenance area (probably the cleanest shop I have ever seen) to look at the issues. Long story short was the vehicle had developed a very small leak in the areas initially mentioned, but it was not a leak that needed to be addressed immediately (as was indicated to me initially). I appreciate that they went over and above to provide excellent customer service and will definitely use them again in the future.** Original Review** - 1/2015I have purchased two vehicles from Gunn. I have enjoyed the buying experience and have no complaints in regards to the sales force. Since purchasing the first of our two vehicles from Gunn eight years ago I have had almost all service done through Gunn, including the majority of the oil changes. However, I recently had our 2007 Nissan Maxima in to fix an oil leak. I had been previously told by a mechanic from a local Oil Change place that the leak appears to be coming from an oil line near the oil filter, not a big issue at all. I dropped the vehicle off at Gunn, relayed the information about the oil line leak to the service manager and went on my way. I received a call 4 hours later identifying three leaks, one of which was the rear main seal. Total cost would be nearly $2,000 to fix them. To quote the service manager "the rear main seal was belching oil". This comment made me suspicious as I had noticed the leak for about a month (identified by a drip on the garage floor). For that entire month I checked the oil two to three times weekly and the engine never showed low oil on the dipstick. So the vehicle was definitely not "belching oil". I refused to have the work done and picked up the car. I took the car into an independent mechanic that came very highly recommended by several friends. I provided no back story on the vehicle, simply told him it was leaking oil. He identified the oil line near the oil filter, and indicated it was a very common problem for these vehicles (I would think the Nissan Dealership would know that as well). The total cost to fix the leak was $160 and took about 1.5 hours. The vehicle is now leak free, with no more drips on the garage floor.Honesty and integrity are important to me when choosing a mechanic and for the past 8 years that is what I thought I was getting at Gunn. Boy was I wrong. I am disappointed by this recent service experience and I doubt I will ever return to purchase a vehicle again.

I purchased a Nissan NV200 commercial van at Gunn a few months ago. I had to have an emissions part replaced and they actually removed a part from another new van in order to avoid my making another trip(I live 65 miles away). I came I for my 1st oil change and they checked out a rattle for me without an appointment. I would definitely buy from them again!

I usually do not write reviews but I had such a great experience I had to this time. My car stopped giving me gas while I was driving back from Houston to San Antonio on a Sunday. Very scary! Had to stop and wait 20 minutes on the side of the road until I could get the gas to start working again. Called Gunn Nissan on Monday but they were totally booked and I could not get in, but told me to bring it in on Tuesday which I did at 8am. They gave me a ride to my work. Called me about 2pm that day and told me it was a sensor and covered under warranty. I also requested they do a 60,000 mile maintenance. They had to keep the car overnight. Wednesday morning about 10:30am they called to tell me it was ready. They came and picked me up from work. No hassles. Very friendly, and my car drives better than before plus I have peace of mind knowing all my fluids and belts are new. And they washed it too. I will make them my "go to" car maintenance place from now on....Great experience.

Stopped by to look at new inventory. Was greated by a Salesman, but he did not provide a business card, so I do not remember his name. I inquired about a Nissan Rogue on display and the exterior color was mustard yellow color- "Sahara Sun". I asked the salesman "that is the new Sahara Sun color, right? " He responded, "No, actually the Sahara Sun is Red", the color on that one is a gold. Which confused me greatly, since I just spend the better half of the morning searching online and viewing the new colors. I looked on the MSRP paperwork on the card windown and the exterior color was as I had thought, "Sahara Sun". Immediatly, I was discouraged with this salesman. If a salesman doesn't even know the name of the colors of the cars, how is he/she know the other ins/outs of the vehicles? He didn't even know the inventory..and whether or not there was such as thing as a Rogue SL AWD model. Then I asked him about a white 2014 Murano and if I could see the inside, since every vehicle on the lot was locked. The salesman responded, "well, the spec on that one is going to change in 2015". I didn't even understand the comment? I wasn't interested in what was going to come out in 2015. I wanted to see that particular vehicle. I just assumed he was lazy and did not want to bother to get the key to unlock the vehicle, so I could see the inside. I briefly scanned the inventory and left the dealership, with a very bad taste in my mouth. Sure, it's not the Dealership that discouraged me, but the salesman. However, every salesman is a reflection of the management and dealership. That guy was a glimpse of the customer service I was to endure, had I opted to buy a vehicle there. No way!

ok, Gunn has my car again. heading to school on the bus shortly. they actually called me at 5:57 yesterday to tell me they found no problem whatsoever. The last time I became so agitated i just waited a rather long while to come back and deal with these less than kind people. this was after they guy walked up to me and told me. that my keys did not work. he couldn't open the door. I told him it did. he disagreed. I walked outside with him, he was trying to open the wrong car. different color and different model as well as year. this isn't the first time Gunn Nissan does something like this. not by a longshot. ive been ignored and told "nothing is wrong we did the diagnostic" after the a/c compressor went out and leaked Freon and smelt horrible. FYI "we don't check that when we diagnose" so you can come back next week" funny. it was 100 degrees. they were clearly agitated with the rental they gave me. the service guy was less than helpful and left me rather annoyed with them FYI you have 12,000 miles to go back if say the a/c they just replaced wont stop grinding everytime you turn it on. after that its your problem. Never ever ever buying from Gunn again. Hopefully today will be better. i'll amend todays if it is but this was the first and second time I had this same issue. this is now the third time I have this issue. Just over a two year old car and its been rather annoying dealing with Gunn. I go to Firestone for everything else. just figured since the warranty covered this I should have it done. It doesn't feel worth it thus far.

We registered our new Nissan out of state using A Gunn Nissan contractor. They inflated the fees, over-charged us for our state tax and delayed our license plates by 56 days.I have written to their CEO, but they did not answer letter. I have talked with several "managers" at Gunn Nissan and they are unable or unwilling to be of any assistance.WE feel they are a dishonest dealer that offers no after sales service.

Aaron Gossett was an absolute pleasure at Gunn Nissan in San Antonio. He went above and beyond in working for me to find me a car. He even brought a car to my house when I was short on time. That was unbelievable! I ended up deciding on a different brand, which wasn't his fault, and when I told him, he was very positive and said "if I can ever help you again in the future, please let me know". This was impressive because when I normally would have to tell salespeople "no", they would be rude and make me feel bad. I know that if you are looking for a car, he will work hard to find you a car that is perfect for you!

In Sept of 2012 I had contacted Thomas Stephens who was in the internet department. We emailed at the beginning and then finally met him in person at the dealership. During our communications he was a nice guy through the emails and an even nicer guy in person. We recently serviced our vehicle at Gunn Nissan this past weekend and we weren't able to get to the service department before they closed. So, when we got there the people at the front said they were not able to help us. I left in disappointment knowing that Monday morning would be hectic picking up my wife's car and then heading to work. I called back to the dealership on Sat and asked to speak to a manager, Thomas answered. He remembered who I was and went back to look for our keys. He asked for a description of the keys and he found them. Thanks to him, our Monday morning was saved and so was our Sat.. Thomas will be leaving that dealership and moving onto another department in the Gunn Group. He will be missed. Thank you Thomas for all your help throughout our dealings with Gunn Nissan.Matt

I took my titan in for service after seeing a two different leaks and a rattling noise over bumps. These problems were seen from underneath while the truck was on a lift. Took the truck in the first time for my concerns. Was told parts had to be ordered so I was to be called when parts arrived. No call after two weeks so I called to check on parts which had arrived. An appointment was made to have all the concerns addressed. Dropped off truck leaks were fixed but not the rattle. Took the truck back and the gave me a solution which didnt sound right. Spoke with service manager Adrian and went for a test drive. He comfirmed my suspicion about 5he false answer on the origins of the rattle. So I made an appointment for another day to drop the truck off. Dropped it off a couple of days later and was placed in a rental. They had the truck six days just to say it needs brakes. I picked it up from gunn and went home. I looked under my truck and to my suprise I have a nissan oil filter on it. I DO NOT USE NISSAN OIL FILTER.I strictly use mobil 1 and Mobil 1 extended performace oil. I addressed the issue and was told my business was not welcome at that dealer anymore. I have had so mich trouble with them. The first solution to the rattle was bushing needing grease, second solution was bushing needing to be replaced, third was a sub frame needing adjustment, fourth was a manifold causing the rattle and the last solution is worn out brake pads in the front. Thats not even the begining. I had a 35,000 mile service done and was charged cabin air filters, which were never installed. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AT GUNN NISSAN EVER AGAIN. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER.

My whole experience was phenomenal. Mr. Abe Novy was very courteous. There was no stress in the whole buying experience. I new before I arrived exactly how much I would be paying for the car which was advertised on Cars.com. This dealership is a no haggle dealership. What is advertised is the price, no negotiating. I found the price of my new car very agreeable & drove to San Antonio from Laredo to purchase the car. The only negative was that the ad promised tinted windows which it did not have. Nevertheless, the price & quality of the car was fantastic.

The employees at Gunn Nissan were fabulous. They were very friendly and really helped us get into the vehicle that best suited us. I purchased a Nissan Murano from Gunn. I was looking for a very precise set of features, color, etc. They found the car for me and had it shipped to San Antonio. No haggle pricing policy made the experience pleasant while delivering a competitive price. Sales person was very knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't feel pressured during the buying process.

We had an excellent experience purchasing our used care from Gunn Nissan and John Alvarez. I scored the Gunn dealership and Mr. Alvarez for Goods to Great and here's why. First, we learned from John that we could purchase any used car on any Gunn auto lot from Mr. Alvarez. This added a higher level of convenience because we could review the inventory of cars on the Gunn website and then notify Mr. Alvarez of our selection(s). If you like the sales representative then this is a winner system because it allows you to develop a relationship with that person and work with a central source for information. Next, I was not familiar with Gunn's "No Haggle" sales approach, much like Saturn introduced years ago. If you're like me, the haggling is the most annoying part of a car purchase so it was a pleasant surprise when Mr. Alvarez stopped me in mid-negotiation pitch. One last thing worth note. As I sat waiting to finalize the car purchase, a gentleman walked in to talk to Mr. Alvarez. Coincidentally, it was a person I've known for 25 years and respect very much, but never knew where he bought his cars. We talk a moment, discuss the coincidence of meeting there, and then he tells me he has bought six cars from Mr. Alvarez and Gunn Nissan. In learning that, I felt reassured of our decision to work with Mr. Alvarez and Gunn Nissan.

I had gone to a different dealer on the morning I bought my Maxima. The customer service at the first dealer was horrible and I walked out and drove straight to Gunn. Tyler greeted me in such a friendly manner,showed me several cars and drove a few of them until I found the one I felt comfortable with. He was very knowledgeable even tho, as he said, he had only been at the dealership for two weeks. The sales experience I had was very good (even if I was exhausted at the end of the day). Tyler followed thru with me for a couple of weeks to make sure everything was as it should be and that I was happy with my new car. It was a good experience.

Very easy to purchase a car from this dealership. We went to several dealerships and Gunn Nissan was the cheapest and we didn't have to go back and forth to get the best deal. The service department is also very good. I had a slight rattle coming from my car and the mechanics went for a ride with me and fixed the issue ASAP. Great customer service!

We bought three vehicles from John over a 30-month period and have nothing to say but good, great, superior about the sales experience. The service department has done a good job of dealing with any issues related to any of the three vehicles, and we would be hard pressed to want to do business with anyone but John at Gunn Nissan. Not only did we get three great vehicles, our post-sale experiences have been superior in every way.

I gave the rating I did because the dealership did have great customer service and very friendly. Most of my questions that I could think of were answered. If something needed to be done it was as best as possible. Price was good, new to one simple price so I gave good rating instead if great.

I am very satisfied with Tyler, the sales guy, on our used Nissan Murano. He was very polite and knowlegeable on everything i asked pertaining to the car and the other ones we looked at. We live 50 miles away and the service department as well is doing a great job on keeping our vehicle in great running condition.

The experience I had with Gunn Nissan was one that no one could ever have imagined. They even helped me get my car back and my deposit from IPAC after they offered me a much better car and price! Tyler went with me to IPAC to help me. The experience at IPAC trying to get my deposit, car and keys back was so awful. It was like a really bad video on I Tube, you just would never have beleived that managers could be so rude and threatening to a customer. Tyler had to call the police! In the end I got my car back from IPAC and my money and then got a new car and wonderful exemplary service at Gunn Nissan. This is the second car I have purchased from Nissan. They get 5 stars!! I will go back again and again every time I need a new car. They are so great I have had my new car for a week and their after purchase customer care is awesome!

Researched from Internet. Made contact via Internet. Set up an appointment for a Saturday morning, and left with a new car that afternoon.No pressure, hassle, etc. Very professional and organized.The makeready/wash/etc was taken care of while I was doing the financial part.Good service.

I purchased a new 2010 Nissan Sentra and within 2 weeks the car broke down. I had to be towed to the dealership. The service department informs me that many of the 2010 Sentra models have a defective battery post connection. They did provide me a shop loaner car to drive for 2 weeks, because the part was on back order nation wide. After 2 weeks, I returned to the dealership at 8:30 am and was told it would be another 2 weeks. At 10:00 am the same day (after I sent a complaint letter to the Gunn General Manager), I received a call from the dealership telling me my car was ready. I drove to the dealership and found out they had used different a similar part to fix my car and not the exact part. Instead of installing a top battery post connection, they used a side mounted post connector. I return the loaner and looked inside my now 4 week old car and found the driver floor mat had been stained with shop grease. After complaining to the service manager and received no satisfaction, I went to the sales manager and she ordered me some new floor mats. The best part is the service manager told me that the tow service and the loaner was in "Good Will" and Nissan did not owe me these services, even if the car was new and the part was defective. He also said, "Nissan can not guarantee the problem won't reoccur and without an extended warranty, towing and a loaner may not be covered"I don't understand how a retail/service driven company can treat a customer, who has been buying Nissans since they were Datsun, with such disregard.

We've been to dealership after dealership in the last few weeks trying to find a good deal on a full size truck. We've felt like we were dealing with con artists everywhere except at Gunn. They had the truck in stock that they were advertising for the price they were advertising. They detailed it and filled the gas tank up. Then they went over all the features of the truck. They were excellent. Much better than the chevy dealership we bought our last truck at.

Form the monement I agreed to purchase a car I was treated like crap. I agreed to the purchase at about 8:30 in the evening and set an appointment for 4:00 pm the next day to complete the remaining paperwork. I arrived at 3:50 and was seen at 5:15. After another 1.5 hours the car was still not ready. I told the staff I had a number of things to do and did not have time to come back to the dealership to pick up my other car. They said they would deliver the car to me. It is now 10:15 and there is no car, no phone call (I called twice). My wife wanted to take the car on trip. I would not do business with this dealership ever again. I am in the process of trying to cancel this deal. This is the worst car buying experiance and dealership ever. They have no concept of customer service.

Steer Clear of Gunn!!! I visited this dealership to check out the Nissan Versa. While there I became interested in a particular vehicle that was a price that seemed "too good to be true." It WAS too good to be true... the next day I called to confirm the price and availability of the car on my way over and was told it was right there waiting for me. I had asked my dad to come into town to help me. He met me there first thing that morning. When we arrived the sales man passed us off to another salesman and then all of a sudden the car was no longer available.... oh, but they had some for a couple thousand dollars more. My dad said that it was a classic "bait and switch." He said that if they could offer us the same package and price for a different car we would buy, but otherwise we were going to leave the salesman brought the manager over and both became extremely unprofessional. It was very clear that they were just trying to take advantage of a young lady trying to buy her first car. Prior to this experience my parents had both thought highly of the Gunn family of companies. Both had bought cars from Gunn Infiniti, but after this experience, when it came time for my parents and my sister to buy a car we steered clear of Gunn! The salesman are pushy, dishonest, and unprofessional.

I called the dealership to find out if my truck was still under warranty. The service writer Jim, was not very helpful. He said he would need my full VIN number. I told him I had it, he then rudely told me he was just getting back from lunch and was not sure if the computer was booted up. When I showed up for my appointment, all the service writers sat in their offices. I waited for several minutes right in front of them. I had to go knock and then wait for them to fisnish what they were doing. The told me that they were too busy to work on my truck and to make another appointment. They still were not going to order the parts. So I was supposed to make another appointment, wait 2 days for parts and 3 days for repairs.I went to another Nissan dealer in town, they were very friendly and had the repairs done in 6 hours, plus they fixed a recall that was not done.GUNN treated me like and inconvienence and not like a customer. GUNN is right across the road from me but I will drive across town to the other dealer.

Initially I had to call the dealership 5 times before someone could tell me if the part came in that was ordered for my car. Jerry never called to inform that the part was in. They promised me a rental while my car was being worked on and then told me I would have to wait til the following day to get the rental. Soooo how am I supposed to get home????? No one tried to rectify anything and they were very nonchalant(sp?) I would not recommend anyone have their car service there or buy a car from them. Dealing with a dealership that doesn't appreciate you as a customer is a nail in the casket for me. I will never go to Gunn Dealership again.

Salesman was very nice and helpful. Problems after the sale in aquiring title and licence. Its been almost 6 months and I am still without title or licence! I have been lied to several times and now I have to call and harass to get any information. Hopefully I will eventually have title to the car I paid cash for.

I was very happy with the salesman, unfortunately the $20,000 used car that I bought was delivered dirty. They said they took care of the rock chips on the hood and scratches on the back bumper, yet all they did was touch it up with a paint stick. The back bumper did not even need to be painted, just sanded out. When I returned to address my issues they said they could "help me out" with the bad detail, but they couldn't do anything about the paint. I told them I was going to get it fixed whether they chose to do the right thing or not. Then the used car manager told me I could just put a bug guard on it to cover it up. It would be too expensive because it is a black car, and they would have to sand too far up on the hood because of the crease. The business manager stated that he is sorry if I would not return but he could not help me. Also, I would have had to wait over an hour to get the car redetailed because they had two cars ahead of me (would have to assume these cars did not have customers waiting) so I decided to clean the car myself also. As the previous reviewer stated before, the sale of the car was fine, but it is irrelevant if you are treated badly afterwards.

My sale was handled well, and my salesperson went out of the way to sell me a vehicle, but after the sale I definately was not treated kindly, and my paperwork was not prepared properly, making all the work the sales dept. did seem irrelevent.
