I needed to have a rear passenger window replaced on my Mercedes SLK. I ordered the glass piece from the Mercedes dealership and asked Gunter if they could install it. He said yes and that it would cost $300. This was wrong on 2 accounts: 1) He couldn't actually do the job and 2) he is still trying to price gouge me over $900 for an unfinished job. After dropping it off, the car sits there for over a week. Eventually he calls and says it's finished. Upon arrival, I immediately notice it's not. There's a 3 inch gap between where the back window and front window are supposed to meet. He says he couldn't find the rubber piece that goes between them. I opened the passenger door and picked it up off the seat and said, "You mean this piece?" It was literally 1 foot away and he just forgot to install it. He literally tried to take my money and let me leave with windows that didn't close all the way! Then he says he has to order a new rubber piece and that it can't be ordered separately from the glass, which I already paid $230 for. He was trying to charge me $400 to order something I already had and a rubber piece I already had.... I called the Mercedes store, they verified the new rubber piece could easily be purchased separately for just $98. He was going to just order that piece and pretend he got a new piece of glass - what a scam artist. As of today, he has gone backwards, not forwards, regarding the service I ordered from him. It will now take more time to undo the botch job he has done before the next person can start to do it correctly. Despite not installing my window, he continues to price gouge me above and beyond the original agreement to move forward. My choices are: Pay over $500 for a job that has not been done and just get my car back, or pay over $900 to get the job done right (which we both know he is incapable of doing. He isn't smart enough to program the window, which is why the crack is so wide). What a sick joke this guy is...

Every time i bring my car here something goes else goes wrong! Gunter no longer work on cars. Technicians are lousy...

This is like a mercedes graveyard. It is interesting. I think this is a collector not really looking to sell his cars. That's ok. It was nice just to go and look around.

Always a good experience working with Junior Gunter. Knows Mercedes and rates are super affordable. Quick and easy. If you have a Mercedes and do not want to pay high dealership rates, better call Gunter!!
