That was the third car I bought at that dealership and the third time I dealt with Brian Pavesi, it has always been a very nice experience. Brian is very professional and has an approach that makes the customer feel very much at ease "no pressure tactics". He knows his products and readily answers any question. The dealership environment is nice and conducive to good relationship. I will definitely get my next car there and look up Brian to deal with. I was pleased with the deal I got.

I am not a person to take time out and write a review but the experience that I had buying my new 2017 Tiguan was the absolute best!! I started the process in August and was truly dreading it. I was lucky enough to be matched with Alex Kopleman and he was great. I wasn't an easy customer. I kept changing my mind on which vehicle I wanted and almost forgot the entire process a few times but he didn't give up on me. I can honestly say that I am so happy with my new car and the entire process from beginning to end was so easy. I will definitely buy my next car from Gunther Volkswagen in Delray.

Had my car towed to this location for a new battery and it was late when I had called to speak with the service adviser. When I spoke with him I had asked him if he could have a rental car for me because I had to go to work and school in the morning. The service adviser named vinny santos said that they need to inspect my car first with an attitude the situation then escalated by the end of the conversation he was yelling through the phone and then hung up on me. Mean while I am pregnant and was very upset at the situation and how he treated me, I had pains in my stomach after the whole incident, which is not good for someone who is pregnant. I called to speak with the general manager many times and was told he would call me back or email me, he has not. I finally spoke with a gentleman who calmed to be the owners brother and told him the situation and what had happened he told me that I put him in a awkward situation and said he was not going to do anything about it. The next day I ended up going to the next closes Volkswagen which was an hour and a half away from where I live. I have still tried to contact the general manager and the service manager and have left messages neither one of them have called me back. This company has no respect for there customers and let's their staff talk to the customers how ever they want to. I will never come back to this place again as I don't want to have someone else yell at me and put more stress on my baby.

I recently leased a new Volvo S60 at Gunther Volvo of Delray on 10/22/2016. I give them five stars for their excellent customer service and desire to find a car that fits the needs of the individual and not just focused on making a sale. I had a painless experience with Gunther Volvo. My salesperson Davon Moss was fantastic. He went above and beyond to try to find the perfect car for me. I wasnt exactly sure what I wanted when I walked into the dealership. Davon showed me several different makes and models of both Volkswagen and Volvo cars and was able to thoroughly explain the functionality of each model that he showed me. Davon worked tirelessly to get me into the perfect car. I test drove several vehicles and finally decided on the Volvo S60. With Davons help I found the perfect car for me. I am extremely happy with the car and Davons service. After I found my car the Credit Manager worked with me to find a financing plan that fit my needs. Thank you to Gunther Volvo management, Davon Moss and the Credit Manager for making my car leasing experience seamless.

Colby at Gunther VW (Del Ray) was amazing. First car lease and he made the whole process so easy and welcoming. Not like other places where they attack you and make you seem weird for asking questions. Have to say for a guy who's time is limited it was nice to see a dealer put effort into a possible sale. Test drive, he showed me a bunch of models and was very quick to understand what I was looking for. Let me say this again it is very nice to go into a car dealership, ask questions and not feel pressured to buy anything. That is the reason I purchased the VW Tiguan sport from Colby. 100% recommended.

Absolutely great customer service. I went there to buy a used car. The car had been cleaned prior to my coming. The seller Alex Koppelman was very skillful and explained me all the features of the car. We went for a spin.We agreed on the price and I came to pick up the car later. The car had again been extremely well washed interior and exterior. Alex took 20 minutes after the end of his working hour to explain me how to configurate the radio, the bluetooth for the phone and how the electronics work.Thank you for the very professional way of serving the customers. I strongly recommend this dealership

Went in about a month ago to look around and maybe purchase a car. I was greeted by Alex Koppelman when I walked in. He made the whole experienve super pleasant. I purchased a 2016 Volvowhich took 5 hours to do so. I was never showed any car features like I was with prior purchases elsewhere. I was sent home with only one key and no car manuel to try and figure out the features. I called and left a message for the manager to call me. Never received a return phone call. They certainly do not know the meaning of customer service I would not recommend purchasing from Gunther Volvo.

I loved the new Jetta so much and that I bought one for my wife then 2 weeks later bought one for me at the Gunther dealership. Kudos to them because they made buying a car painless and enjoyable. You know that when they are selling a really good car like the Jetta, it is easy to purchase one. I needed to get a car for my daughter who is going away to college (about 250 mi away). I didn't want to spend too much, knowing how teenagers are :-)So when I saw an add by Gunther VW of Delray for a really nice lease for a Passat, I decided to give them a visit. I was a bit apprehensive about this visit, since in my past experience, an add by a car dealer usually (or just about every time) means that they just want to sucker you in, then bleed you dry. NOT the case with Gunther! I called the dealership and spoke with Josh, clearly explaining to him that I saw his company's add, and expected for that add to be honored. He simply said that it will be. When I went to Gunther VW, I presented a printed copy of the ad to Alex, our salesman, relating to him the same thing I told his supervisor Josh. 10 minutes later Alex came back with an offer that was just what the ad said. Just like that!I have been buying and leasing cars for the last 20 years, and my experience at Gunther VW of Delray on August 6 has been by far the best I ever had when it comes to buying/leasing a new car. No stress, no haggling, no arguing over the exact wording of the add, no going back and forth to see what the manager will or will not approve, etc., etc., etc.. I never thought it could be so easy!Thank you Alex and the Gunther team!

I have owned a Volvo for 8 years now and have never been so disappointed with a dealership. Horrible buying experience, and the service has been even worse. Have been in once for a recall (after owning it for 4 months) and they needed up keeping my car for four days! They don't even have Volvo loaner cars. Now I'm dealing with Vasil the service manager on a Volvo oncall issue. He keeps promising to fix it and does nothing. Please save yourself some serious aggravation and go somewhere else.

I recently purchased 2014 Jetta from Gunther and experienced top quality service from Thomas Laske. Within 3 weeks I visited 4-5 different dealerships (looking for a vehicle for my wife). I started with Gunther as I previously bought a car from there and ended up coming back as I found Thomas to be honest and not pushy - two most important qualities of a salesman that I value. Our communication via email was instant and clear - no nonsense, just business. I would definitely recomend Thomas and Gunther Deray. the sale was best ever ,the after service horrendous. bought 2013 jetta , only 1 key.told 2nd key neede d car to program.1st trip down.key guy didn't show.2nd time dropped off car given loaner which was filthy.paper,,banana peels In back seat.I had to clean before I let the kids in..after day and half went to pick up and nothing was even done.car parked where I left, nobody really cared or helped. I had to search my salesmans desk for my keys just to get hell out of there.2 months and still no spare key. do not recommend this dealer

If you ever need to buy an excellent car Gunther Delray Beach is your place and make sure to ask for Colby Williams. I bought many cars for myself and my family in my life time, my experience with Colby was totally different, he's a very polite young man not pushy at all, informative and a real gentleman. I was there to make a deal and told him that I'm here to get a car, we picked the car earlier from cars.com he had it washed and ready for my son to test drive. The whole experience took less than an hour and we got what we wanted including the price that we asked for. Not your typical dealer. My wife is thinking into trading in her SUV and we're definitely going back to Colby. Excellent job!!

Purchased a new Tiguan R-Line at Gunther VW from Lasha Malazonia. I can highly recommend him and the entire team I came in contact with there. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with from the receptionist that first answered the phone to the finance dept. Lasha really impressed me with his knowledge of the vehicle. Im a car guy and did many hours of research on-line before deciding on this model and Lasha walked us around the car explaining its features. Im turned off by a salesman when he doesnt know about the product and Lasha did not disappoint. Gunther is not the closest VW dealer to me but I will definitely go back to them the next time Im shopping a car line they carry. I really dont understand some of the negative reviews of this dealership because my experience was totally enjoyable.

I just had to wait until becoming a senior citizen before actually buying my first car. Most of my cars were given to me - my father, late husband - or renting when I traveled or needed a car for a day or two. I never had an interest or experience in actually buying a car. After my 2008 VW Beetle was totaled in a crash, I was basically forced into doing something that I usually dislike - buying a used car. However, my experience at Gunther Volvo/VW in Delray Beach was totally awesome and totally changed how I feel about used car shopping. Salesman Thomas Laske helped me find my dream car, an absolutely beautiful, and virtually new 2013 Red VW Beetle. The buying process was smooth and comfortable with the salesman being knowledgeable and efficient. I felt just as satisfied with Thomas when I returned two days later to pick up my "new" car. One of the highlights of the car buying process at Gunther was dealing with the finance department, something that can be extremely stressful. Finance Manager Jorge Cardoso was very helpful and even suggested a financing option that I had not considered but which turned out to be just perfect for my situation. I highly recommend Gunther Volvo/VW in Delray Beach.

We just leased our 8th Volvo in a row from.. When we entered the Gunther Volvo showroom, we were greeted by Brian Pavasi, a top notch salesperson that we previously had the honor of working with. Brian knew we came in to turn in our 2013 S60 and lease a new 2016 Volvo. Even knowing that, he didn't treat us like it was a foregone decision. We told Brian we wanted to upgrade to the XC60 and wanted to keep our monthly payments about the same. He let us know that probably would not be achievable due to the difference in the retail price of each vehicle but would do all he could to get us the best price possible. After the test drive and walking the lot, we discovered that they did not have the exact vehicle we wanted, both color and features wise. Brian searched statewide and was able to locate the color we wanted but it had more features that we needed. He worked diligently with the GM to deliver the price we needed to go forward. At every step of the way Brian was professional, knowledgeable, respectful and looking to satisfy us. We are now owners of a beautiful 2016 Blue XC60 Premier and are extremely happy with our vehicle and the leasing experience. We have leased many vehicles over the years but Gunther VW of Delray Beach provided the most pleasant experience in leasing a new 2016 VW Jetta SE. From the moment my wife and I walked into the showroom and were introduced to Nick Yanes we felt we had arrived at the right place. Nick was so very professional and low-key and did not pressure us in any way. His main objective was to first determine our needs and then fully explain all the specifications and options of the Jetta so that we would feel comfortable in switching over to a VW after being a loyal customer to a local Mazda dealership for many years. When we finally sat down to negotiate the lease deal, and we rejected the first offer, he asked us what it would take to leave with the Jetta of our choice. We told him our bottomline and he said he would take it to Mr. Gunther to see if he would take the deal. When he returned, he said Mr. Gunther would provide us with additional upgrades in the Jetta at our lease offer. WOW...what can I say!!!! This dealership really is interested in moving vehicles in a friendly and accommodating manner while going over and above to make the deal. I would most highly recommend this dealership and make sure you see Nick Yanes as he is truly a GREAT salesperson.

No pressure, no hassles, just thoughtful questioning to assure my needs were met and desires satisfied. I'm a loyal, long-time Gunther customer because of Julian Smyle, who introduced me to Edd Allen. I can't say enough good things about Julian, and Edd's expertise on the XC 60 I had my eye on, his professionalism, and his patience made him a pleasure to work with. My husband and I owned Volvos in the past, and the XC had everything I wanted...and so much more. My husband was too ill to come with me. This was my first "solo" car purchase. Both Julian and Edd treated me as though I was their only customer. The entiree process (including the business side, thank you, Carlos) was transparent and straightforward. I left happily with the perfect XC 60 for me.

My son is graduating from college and I gave him my wonderful Volkswagen Jetta. I have to be honest; I dreaded having to go through the process of looking for a pre-owned vehicle for myself. I took my boyfriend along with me as we visited four different VW/Volvo dealerships. While visiting the first three dealerships, initially all of the Sales Associates were nice and professional, but as soon as we attempted to negotiate the price of the vehicles, they all became mean and nasty. One Sales Associate even cursed at us (Ron at Vista VW). The Margate Volvo Sales Associate (and Manager) didnt try to negotiate and acted like they didnt care at all. I was starting to lose faith that I would be able to find a car that I liked for a reasonable price. That was until we went to Gunther Volkswagen/Volvo in Delray Beach, Florida. From the time my boyfriend and I arrived until the time we left, the entire Gunther Team, made us feel welcomed, respected and completely satisfied. The Sales Associate, Edward Allen, was awesome! Throughout the entire process, we felt like he was our advocate! Now, I have a beautiful and safe vehicle (a 2012 Volvo S60) with a very, very low monthly payment! Thank you Ed! I and my husband have nothing but praise for Gunther Volvo of Delray Beach and their salesman, Mr. John Pike, who has recently helped us to buy a car. We have found the desired 2013 Volvo S60 T5 Premier Plus (Volvo Certified Pre-Owned Car) via the Internet advertisement, called Gunther Volvo to find out more, and have been referred to John. He answered in detail all our questions about the car condition, installed options, etc., and did this in such a friendly and forthcoming manner that we decided to take a two-hour drive to Delray from Naples where we live and to look at the car. Upon arrival at the dealership we have found the car exactly as described by John, i.e., nothing has been omitted or misrepresented, and unavoidable misunderstandings have been clarified in the most amicable manner. Before taking us for a test drive, John spent a considerable time explaining us the Volvo safety features and demonstrating the use of parking sensors in a very clear and effective manner. When we decided to buy the car, John helped us to complete the paperwork, and then even drove us to return a rental car while still telling us about exciting features of our new Volvo. Of course, we have bought the car because we liked it and the price was right, but the fact that we bought it at Gunther Volvo and that our buying experience was so pleasant is definitely due to John and other employees of the Gunther Volvo that we met. Over the years I have had the pleasure of owning many VW's. From Beetles to Sirocco to Passat and CC's. I have both bought and leased them. In all those previous deals, I have never been treated as well as my recent experience purchasing a new Beetle Turbo through Gunther VW in Delray Beach Florida. I would highly recommend Gunther Volkswagen in Delray. William Farmer (my sales representative) was wonderful at providing excellent service, professionalism and integrity. He was able to meet my needs, kept everything simple and was extremely straightforward. At no time did I feel as though his advice was for self-seeking reasons. He was able to work with me in an efficient and effective manner and I am proud to say that I am now a owner of a 2015 VW Passat LE. As a first time owner of a car, I found myself overwhelmed at how many different dealerships and options I had in South Florida. Gunther Volkswagen and William were able to create a great rapport with me even before I stepped foot in the dealership. He was very upfront from the beginning and it was a pleasure to work with him. After working with William, I then went to the business office to finalize the payments. I met with Carlos Campo (business manager) who was just as excellent as William. He didn't make anything complicated and once again was able to find a package that fulfilled my needs. What was amazing was that the next day, Carlos called me and told me that he had found a better deal for me. He was able to lower my monthly payments and increase my benefits. I was looking for a car to replace a vehicle that had recently been damaged in an accident. It was 4:30 in the afternoon when I turned up unannounced at Gunther Volvo interested in a car I had seen online. I drove to Gunther Volvo after a harrowing high pressure experience that day at another car maker dealership. So I was a bit frazzled. And it was late in the day. William and the team took good care of me, with sale, financing, insurance, etc. and I was driving out with the Volvo. Nothing high pressure. They also followed up the next day by helping me to return my rental car. Nice teamwork, nice people.

Woohoo! As good as it gets! My husband read a spectacular review in the WSJ on the 2016 XC90. We needed to replace our gas guzzling Infiniti QX56. We have 3 little girls that were fighting non-stop in the back seat of our little temporary cars. We were almost all sold on a mini-van, which I was grudgingly going along with to keep the family peace...until I actually drove the XC90. Bill was our sales person and Julien was the sales manager and yes, I agree, he is a John Legend look-a-like!! These gentlemen treated my family like gold. They never "pressured" us, were SO HELPFUL, gave great advice on options (thank you for explaining so well), and are both super patient. They totally listened to all of our needs and understood them immediately!!! They made a usually uncomfortable/confusing process so clear. We are all so happy with our XC90--Julien was right and understood, I would never been happy in a minivan. We are so happy with our experience at Gunther Volvo in Delray. Highly recommended. If only I could figure out how to get that awesome Britto car wrap on ours?! Love it!

Great experience all around. We have purchased many vehicles and have never enjoyed ourselves at a dealership. There was no pressure or shady dealings. Everyone was very respectful and warm. Our consultant was Paco Cuevas and he was the major reason that the experience was pleasant. We know about all of his children, his wife, and his extended families professions because he focused more on relating with us rather than closing us. Paco is top notch and we not only recommend you go and buy from him but we will do so again when in the market as well. Bo the finance manager and the sales manager on the VW side were nice guysas well.Giving him and the staff at Gunther a great review is the least we can do. If you have a bad experience somewhere else , don't say we did not warn you. Should have stopped at asked for Paco!!!!

I went in with the mindset that if I could not: 1) get a fair trade-in value for my car, 2) get a final sales price that was fair and had the national VW incentives honored, and 3) get a good finance rate for purchasing the car over a 5 year term, then I was willing to walk away from purchasing the car. I went online to get a quote for a 2015 Jetta and in just a few minutes Graciano Drwila called me on my mobile phone to up to follow-up and schedule my visit to Gunther Delray. On the day of my appointed date, I was a few minutes late but Graciano was very accommodating and understanding. He went to ask me what exactly I was looking for, my budget and showed me my options. We went to test drive the Jetta and had a little chit chat on the road. I can sense that he is really a very nice guy! Sincere and very easy to deal with. I wanted a silver or the dark gray Jetta but there was no available at that time. Graciano and Nick - his manager went out of their way to please a customer. I purchased a brand-spanking new VW on a Saturday and it was very much a positive experience. About a month before I had visited Gunther Volkswagen of Delray and spoke with Graciano Drwila. I was very specific on what I was looking for and he was very helpful in answering my questions and shortly afterwards we took a 2015 VW Golf TDI for a test drive. I was sold on the car but needed a bit of time before coming back to make a purchase. Graciano was never the "pushy salesman" and he had not at any time tried to upsell me on a more expensive vehicle or something with all the bells and whistles. He listened to what I was looking for and helped make it happen. Best experience yet at any dealership, period. I would highly recommend friends and /or family to purchase from Gunther Volkswagen.

I dropped my Jetta off for repairs and ended up having to buy a car unexpectedly. I am so thankful I got work with Paco. He was extremely helpful and was not pushy at all. The first day meeting him I told him I was not buying a car today and he was very relaxed and let me look at the vehicles I wanted without making me feel forced to make a decision. The next day I went back to the dealership to purchase the car, it was my first time purchasing a car...I waited an hour for him because he was finishing up another sale from earlier. Waiting an hour for Paco's help was well worth it so I did not mind. He was so helpful and friendly and made purchasing the vehicle so easy. Also it was his fourth sale that day! that alone should show how good of a salesman he is.

My husband and I were wowed over by the warm.friendly and professional service provided by Graciano, Julian and Carlos when we turned in our leased 2013 Volvo S60 and wound up leasing a 2015 Volvo XC60, even though we still had a month to go on our lease! There was no hard sell and Julian immediately put us at ease agreeing to everything I said with a twinkle in his eye! During the test drive, Graciano was an excellent back seat driver, explaining all the details of the XC60 features. Graciano was more than professional and accomodating to our needs, and when my husband and I said that we would take a break for lunch, he surprised us with buying us lunch. The F & I Manager, Carlos, was a breath of fresh air. Not only did he conclude the financial aspects of the lease quickly and seamlessly, we discovered our mutual interests of Italian travel,and were treated to a travelogue. He regaled us with his adventures and excellent suggestions for future travel. The next day, Graciano called us to followup and ask us how we liked the car, answered questions, promised to research a technical question and get back to us. We highly recommend Graciano and team if you are in the market to buy or lease a Volvo, as he is very personable, has a good sense of humor, and is very efficient and capable. THE BEST experience I've had from a car dealership. The Gunther team worked with me to move me from my current lease (which was expiring) to a new car, new lease - seamlessly. My husband and I went to Gunther after a long day of car shopping. We were tired and thought we were out of luck. From the second we walked in we knew Gunther of Delray was where we should have stopped from the beginning. Paco Ccuevas was recommended to us. He is the best! He was patient with us, listened to what we wanted and worked with us.. Not only did he get us exactly what we wanted but they also helped us in the trade of our other car. Paco and everyone at the dealership worked together with us to make the process of leasing a new car as least stressful as possible. Not to mention they stayed after hours to process paperwork just so we could have the car that night. The whole experience was great! We look forward to purchasing another car with Gunther and doing many, many years of business!

I submitted inquiries to several VW dealers in the area. Each one reached out via email, but Jonathan from Gunther in Delray was the only one to pick up the phone and call me. I was very stressed about getting a new car. The process was easy and stress free thanks to Jonathan. If you are looking for a car I would definitely recommend that you go see Jonathan Stratis. He is very helpful and isn't pushy. He never made me feel embarrassed by my credit situation like I've seen car salesmen do to people in the past.

My wife and I recently went to Gunther VW to lease a car for our teenage daughter. We met our salesman Paco Cuevas, who took the time to explain all of the different options with the Jetta and patiently took our teenager for a test drive. The sales process was very no nonsense and stress free, plus the finance department didn't try to sell us a bunch of useless ad-ons. We were out of the dealership in a few short hours driving our new car. Thanks Paco and the whole Gunther team for making our experience so enjoyable!

I was dreading having to go into a dealership and get a new car. I had no idea what I wanted and knew nothing about cars. I'd tried a few other dealers but kept feeling pressure and rushed. When I got to Gunther Delray, I was helped by Tom and he was so helpful and patient! He really listened to what I wanted and gave me time to test out a few different cars and knew all about them. I went with a brand new Jetta and have been really happy with my purchase every since. The whole staff was great and really took away the stigma and stress of buying a car for me. I'd recommend this dealership anyday!
