Purchased a Mini Cooper S yesterday. The car was better than described. Very easy transaction and very reasonable delivery fee to bring it to me 400 miles away. Very happy.

I bought a 2013 lexus lx 570 more than 2 month ago, Kent has not deliver the tittle of the car. He publish a clean and perfect condition car. The car has issues with door locks, lack of maintenance, and no spare keys. As of today no response and no Tittle.

I bought a 2015 Suburban from this gentleman. Within 2 months of purchase, the transmission is shot. He won't return my phone calls and won't buy back or repair. its gonna cost me around $4000 to get this tyranny rebuilt. Don't fall prey to all the fancy cars in the lot. check out his other reviews. you'll see similar treatment

BUYER BEWARE!! Kent is a dishonest dealer and he doesn't deserve 1 star. I made the mistake of trusting their website which states, "We have an outstanding reputation in the community for selling great vehicles and standing behind them." NOT SO! I think he has fake positive reviews (friends/family maybe)? I bought a 2015 Denali on EBAY from Hallum Motors and had it shipped to me in VA. It didn't drive right when I received it and I took it to the local GMC dealership and they said it had a bad transmission. When I called and notified Kent he said the SUV was sold AS-IS. I asked if he would take the Denali back and he said, no, and he asked if he could look into it and call me back. I never got a call back. I called several times and he'd apologize and then it was always the same thing... "Hey Kim, can I call you back?" Never a call back and he stopped answering the phone and wouldn't return voicemails. There were also 2 other issues. He claimed the SUV was a "one owner"- it wasn't. And he also said there were no dings or scratches...also not the case. When it was delivered I alerted the delivery guy to a very large gash in the front plastic bumper and he said it was there when he picked it up and pulled a picture of it on his phone outside of the Hallum dealership (they take thorough pictures of any damage when they pick up vehicles so they aren't blamed/to reduce their liability). Bottom line: This guy sells cars online for what seems like a good deal but isn't once you factor in undisclosed defects- you end up with a big headache and pay more in the long run. Only buy something local where you can drive and see the vehicle and know exactly what you're getting and where you can talk to them face to face and know they are going to stand behind their words. Kent Hallum is not the guy you want to do business with.

Drove almost an hour to see a truck described as “very clean, NONsmoker” by Kent Hallum We get there and the headlights are full of water, lots of rust and mud everywhere and the interior smelt like wet carpet and heavy cigarette smoke so badly the pillars of the truck and headliner were yellow above the drivers side with several cigarette burns in the seats Typically sleazy used car salesmen totally fulfilling the stereotype. The interior was full of moisture and damp. Finally the truck wouldn’t even crank. Clearly this truck has been underwater pretty deep at some point. Based on all the other reviews this is a really shady company. Will never consider doing business with this company even if they wanted to give me a free car.
