Bad customer service!! I’m a marine vet with Parkinson’s bought my dream car 69 camaro from Daytona showroom. I purchased the warranty with it only drove a few hundred miles had a little tick in motor so I took it to very reputable place that does lot of work on classic cars so I knew they could be trusted. I told them to do oil change and check noise. They took valve cover off and problem with lifters took intake off and push rod was bad told them to fix it total cost was around 2000.00 not a big issue knowing it was going to be done right. Then I forgot about the warranty tell later didn’t think it would be a big deal thinking Hanksters was a first class business. Long story Rich at The Daytona showroom refused to cover cause I didn’t call and couldn’t inspect I have the parts that broke . With Parkinson’s sometime thought process is slow of putting everything thing in order, just thought it would be ok since it was local and had the parts that were broke.would not recommend buying your dream car here!!! Mike Owens I live less than 2 miles from the showroom and the shop where the car is being repaired is about 5 miles away from the Daytona showroom . I take responsibility if i didn’t take step by step for warranty but was told since being local wouldn’t be a problem on any issues guess I took that the wrong way. If Hanksters was wanting to be concerned about trying to do the right thing about customer service could of took a 10 minute ride to see the car that nobody was trying to scam them.i took the warranty policy out with a piece of mind knowing that these are classic cars. I was taking buying my car as a family owned business not a buying experience from a car lot . For 2000.00 dollars in repair is not a big deal when you spend the money on these cars to me it’s not about the money part more than buying it local and the car is right down the road and not 1000 miles away. It’s all good!!
