Our salesperson, Ricky Loy, was so nice and helpful. I felt no pushing at all, just like dealing with a friend. I believe they were very honest and open in the pricing of the new vehicle and in what they gave me for my trade in. In addition, when we sat down to close the finance person told me I was getting an additional $1,000 off since I already owned a Honda. This was something he noticed from my insurance cards, so thanks to his attentiveness and desire to be helpful, the only surprise I had at closing was a $1,000 savings. I highly recommend Harper Acura, and I will definitely be a returning customer in the future!

I just purchased a 2022 Acura MDX A-spec and I absolutely LOVE it! Steven Rhea was my sales person and he’s a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend that if you’re in the market for a vehicle, you need to go and see them! I had another Acura for 5 years and never had any major issues with it. Plus when I would have it serviced, the service department at Harper Acura was the best. They treat every customer like royalty.

I was in search of a specific vehicle and initiated my search online. I found three dealerships within a reasonable driving distance that had what I wanted. I made contact with each dealership and Billy Morton of Harper Acura quickly proved that he was a class act and ready to do business. He was quick to respond to my questions and provide information about the vehicle. Negotiations were simple and I felt like I got an incredible deal! I arrived at the dealership to find my car shined up and ready to go. There were no surprises once we arrived. The paperwork matched everything Billy had communicated by email. Cliff Cunningham in the business office was also a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Billy Morton and Harper Acura to anyone that is looking for a stress free buying experience! These folks are awesome!! Well worth the two hour drive from Kentucky.

The day before we were to leave on vacation, I noticed an unusual off and on again sound coming from the front of the car. Called Harper and as expected they were booked solid. Asked for the Service Manager Richard Tompa. Richard asked how soon I could bring the car in for a test drive. An hour later Richard took it for a test drive diagnosed a bad wheel bearing. Less than 30 minutes later I was on the way home in a loaner vehicle. Around 10:00 the next morning I got a call the vehicle was ready to go.

Was planning to buy another Lexus to replace our 2014 RX 350 and stopped in to check on a couple of items on the MDX and was informed that the 2017's were out and they used regular gasoline. Joey showed me the new vehicles and colors, answered all my questions, and was very helpful in general. Took my wife over a couple of days later to look the cars over and test drive one. Couple days later went back and in a few minutes Joey and I negotiated a trade for our Lexus for a new 2017 MDX. I feel like we got an excellent deal. Very low key dealership.

Since it had been over a decade since I bought my last vehicle, I wanted to take my time and purchase a car that would best fit my needs and budget. The first time I test drove the RDX I was given a great overview of the car by Billy Morton. He was very knowledgeable. He knew I very interested in the safety features and he explained them in great detail! If I didn't understand, he could make it more basic so I could understand. There was no pressure. I asked him to compare the RDX to another company's vehicle and he did not give negative comments but encouraged me to go and test drive it. I did and I came back to the RDX and this dealership. It had been several months but when I came back to Harper to begin test driving again, it was very easy and comfortable - no pressure. Billy Morton is so easy to work with - no question is too minor. He relates his own experiences which helps in the decision process. Billy really wants you to make the best decision for you. He explained the warranty and service benefits that Harper provides which was extremely important to me. Again Billy Mortan was fantastic to work - knowledgeable with great applications as to how a feature will effect your driving. He and the people of Harper Acura want you to be extremely pleased with your purchase and their customer service. I highly recommend!

Always a very pleasant experience with personnel. Waiting is always comfortable and precisely as long as you are told up front. Complimentary car wash is a very nice touch. This time, however, I decided to check my RDX computer to see what it said regarding my oil level as I was leaving. It said "Oil Life 30%!" I just had an oil change! I pointed this out and a technician apologized and quickly rectified the issue by resetting the computer.A rare oversight, no doubt. Still ACURA needs to be aware of this, and others might want to also check similar issues after service before going on a trip.

I took my RDX in for the 15,000 mile service this past week. I opted to wait. Richard came out to inform me what all would be done for the 15,000 mile service and what the cost would be. I was very comfortable in the waiting room. My RDX was ready in a very reasonable time. My RDX drives smoothly with no issues whatsoever. I would not dream of taking my RDX anywhere else for service.

We visited Harper Acura multiple times searching for a used TLX and Steve Rhea always made us feel welcome and told us to come by as often as we wanted. We finally purchased a new TLX this week since the 2016's were on sale, but Steve was on vacation. Billy Morton was our salesman and we highly recommend him. He never made us feel pressured or rushed and helped us work out everything to make our deal happen.. Buying a car has always been a stressful experience for us, but Billy made the process as easy as possible. Cliff in finance was also very helpful. We felt it would be best to come back in a week or two to really go over all the bells and whistles on our new ride since we would probably have more questions by then, so we are looking forward to that. In the meantime, we are loving our new TLX!!

The service department at Acura is as good as it gets. The staff is always professional and pleasant, the waiting room is a great place to relax or get work done, and courtesy cars are always an option. I stay on the regular Acura service plan and have never had problems with my cars. I love the clean open design of Harper Acura in Knoxville.

I have been taken care of by everyone every time I come here the last several years, especially Ray in the service dept...Everyone is always friendly, has my best interest in mind, and I know I can trust them being a single female. They have never steered me wrong. Going thru a divorce Billy worked with me for 6-9 months on finding what was best for me, my daughter, and my situation....always texting me updates on what they had available and traded for. I really want an Acura MDX but can't afford it right now but didn't feel comfortable going anywhere else and luckily got a Nissan from them which I love! I will continue to work with them now and in the future. Billy was so patient, helpful, and knowledgable. Tom was great to work with financially bc I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to that stuff. He took the reigns and explained to me what he was doing and basically did it for me. He was so personable and friendly. Bill Harper is also a wonderful man that has his customers best interest in mind. I probably will never purchase anther car from anywhere else with the customer service and care I have received from Harper Acura. I feel like I'm friends with Ray, Billy, and Tom now and will probably go by just to visit and say hi!!

I totally wasn't in the market for a BRAND NEW vehicle, but I'm so glad I walked in and was greeted by Billy! I never felt pressured to buy and he was extremely helpful in making my decision. I don't like the "pushy" type, so this is why I felt extremely confident in my decision of purchasing a new vehicle, I felt like I was first priority, not the sale. Has to be hands down the smoothest and most professional car buying experience I have ever been apart of or will be! My wife and I had in mind which vehicle we were considering and just thought we'd stop in at the near by Acura dealership, not having any idea how nice and courteous Harper was known for. Thank goodness we picked them! Billy who met and spoke with both my wife and I, along with Tom in financing were both equally friendly, honest, and professional. Harper had exactly the vehicle my wife was looking for and they offered us a great trade in deal on her previous vehicle. From beginning to end, the entire process could not have been any easier. Especially considering buying something as costly as a new vehicle can be a daunting process to some. Without question, I would strongly, strongly recommend anyone looking at vehicles to go and see Harper. Great dealership, great staff, and great products!

I found Harper Acura to have a good selection of certified pre-owned MDX's, and ultimately purchased a very nice 2014. I traveled over 350 miles and it was worth the trip. Harper offered me a good trade in for my 2007 BMW and we made a good deal. I dealt with two sales people who were both courteous and knowledgeable. My husband and I live out of town and decided to pop in to Harper Acura to gather more information and knowledge about purchasing a vehicle we had been researching. I was prepared for a "typical" car salesman attitude and potentially a waste of time. Billy approached us and was very welcoming and helpful. I appreciated the fact that we never even looked at a car for the first 45 minutes because we were discussing things. That showed me that his agenda wasn't to get me in a car as fast as he could but to gain knowledge from us about what we were looking for so he could be as helpful as possible. I felt he was very genuine, honest, and respectful with us and did what he could to get us what we were looking for in our price range. Since we are out of towners, Billy suggested we take the car for the afternoon and mull it over if need be. We did, loved it even more, came back and bought our first car as a married couple. I highly recommend Billy, as he was never pushy with us and is trustworthy. What sealed the deal for me was coming back to my husband's parent's house and the neighbors had the exact same things to say about Harper Acura. "Aren't they just the nicest people to deal with?" We purchased an Acura from a private party and took it to Harper for some A/C work.They did an excellent job communicating to me what was wrong and what was needed to get it working properly.The unexpected thing was they were going to let me use a loaner car until my repairs were complete.We've owned all kinds of cars- Honda, Infiniti, Ford, Chevrolet, Plymouth. I've never had that as an option, especially if I didn't buy it with the dealer.

I highly recommend Richard and his team in the Service Department at Harper Acura. I appreciate the way I am treated from the time I enter the service reception bay until the time I leave. Richard and his team are always friendly, courteous, and respectful. I also appreciate that I am updated on the progress of the work that is being performed. They have always answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. Also, the other staff at Harper are very attentive while I am waiting (e.g, everyone who walks by greets me). The waiting area is always neat and orderly, and the refreshments are appreciated!

The Harper Dealership most certainly lived up to their stellar reputation. Friends and family sent me their way as it was time to trade in my ten year old Honda Pilot with over 160K miles. All the staff was helpful, informative and friendly. There was never a moment of the typical "let me go ask my manager who is behind the secret door " and the back and forth that is the formula for most dealerships. Shannon Harper put me in contact with Billy Morton who had vast knowledge of the Acura fleet. We test drove some and I let him know the things that were important to me. He followed up with an email listing some MDX's that fit my criteria. He encouraged me to come and take one to keep overnight. I bought it when I returned it the next day! Love my new car and loved working with the Harper crew. I never knew car buying could be a happy experience.

Service was more concerned with safety than with profit. When I came in with large nail in sidewall of tire (which could not be repaired), They provided a loner car because there were no tires in stock that they could find. It took 4 working days for them to acquire a replacement tire. I appreciate their concern for my safety.

My wife and I just made our second Acura purchase from Harper Acura: a Certified Pre-Owned 2014 MDX with Technology package, and we couldn't be happier. When I buy something - especially something expensive - I spend a lot of time in research: both for "what" I'm going to buy as well as "where" I will buy it. I was already planning on likely buying from Harper again since I'd had a great experience three years previously when I purchased my TL-S there, but out of curiosity, I thought I'd just check the reviews on dealerships across the surrounding region. So I looked at Nashville, Chattanooga, Johnson City, Roanoke, Lexington (Ky), Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville (SC), Atlanta, and several other dealerships in smaller towns in North and South Carolina. What I found confirmed my decision to buy from Harper even more: they set the bar for customer satisfaction in Acura dealership reviews.I then reviewed their current sales staff to see if the person who sold my TL-S was still with them. He wasn't (but he's with a neighboring Harper family dealership), but I found the name of a salesperson (Mark Cauthen) whose name I'd seen listed in numerous favorable reviews and left him a voice message. He got back to me shortly, and we set up a time for my wife and I to come down and see what they had to offer. From the time we arrived until the time he shook our hand and we drove away with our new MDX, the whole experience was pleasant. Mark allowed us to freely test drive three (3) different vehicles without riding along in the car and distracting us with incessant sales chatter. Instead, we felt like family. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles; could answer every question I posed to him; and worked with us to negotiate a very fair price for the MDX. He has followed up with us a couple of times to see if we are satisfied for our purchase, and to ensure all's well, offering to help in any way if anything's amiss.So if/when you find yourself in the market for a vehicle - new or used - and you're considering, or have settled on an Acura, I would highly encourage you to give Harper Acura serious consideration. Take it from me, the reviews of the many other customers, or just research it for yourself - online or in person - and I believe you'll come to the same conclusion I did: these folks run a world class dealership and will treat you right!

I have had to have a few recalls done on my MDX and Harper has been my dealer of choice. Every time I have dealt with Ray who has been extremely professional, helpful (I have 2 small children so 2 car seats) and has provided me with a loaner that I can easily place my children's seats in. He has made sure the work is in a timely fashion and if for any reason there is a delay has kept me informed. They always conduct a thorough inspection of my truck and recommend any needed services. I will definitely continue to use them in the future and hope to purchase my next MDX from them!

I had a great experience with this dealership and with Billy Morton. Came and looked at a vehicle early in the week and Billy knew all about the vehicle I was interested in. He did not pressure me in any way to drive the car and even gave me some time to look at the car and think about it by myself. Mark always bends over backward to make the experience pleasant and efficient. Other (non-Harper) dealerships in Knoxville don't even come close in making me feel appreciated and valued. I plan to buy all of my future autos at Harper Acura.

I have purchased Acura MDXs from Harper since 2001 and our 2014 MDX is number seven. I would hate to go anywhere else.Last Monday I got a call from my wife telling me that the MDX had a warning light re the engine and the emissions control. I drove our truck to her and swapped vehicles and drove the MDX carefully to Harper's. It was a Monday morning and of course I had no appointment. The service manager put me in line and, although a long wait the problem was diagnosed and the engine emissions software was updated thereby fixing the problem.

We were approaching the end of our lease and my wife and I had been discussing out options. The next day, I just so happened that we received an email from Mark Cauthen about an offerer for existing leases. Mark answered all my questions regarding lease or purchase options over the phone. We began our long, rigorous journey of finding a good, used, affordable, dependable vehicle after we lost our previous one to water damage within the engine. We spent hours on the internet searching, organizing, and making a list of the ones we wanted to check out. Day 1: the entire day spent at a dealership (we won't mention the name), which turned out to be a waste. Day 2: continued to spend hours upon hours searching online. Day 3: we stopped at 3 car lots, test drove some vehicles, and made a 'list' of possibles. We then drive to Harper to check out a Toyota RAV4, which I originally had no interest in, but my wife insisted. Long story short, if we would have started here we could have saved so much time and energy. The entire experience, from the time we walked in until the time we drove off in our newly owned Toyota, was the most relaxed, hassle free, consumer oriented, hassle free experience we have ever had. Billy Morton, our sales guy, was amazing and did anything he could to help us out with our needs. From now on, this will be our first stop when searching for a future new/used vehicle!

I recently expressed dissatisfaction with service received on Black Friday in a survey from Harper. The service manager called me personally and apologized and set up an appointment for me to bring my Acura back in yesterday. He greeted me personally and took my car for a test drive. As a result of the drive, he thought the torque converter needed to be replaced. I left my car in the hands of Brad Laura (who also graciously apologized for the Black Friday service I received) and provided me with a loaner car because the torque converter replacement was to take two days. I got my car back today and Brad was very helpful. I want to express my thanks to everyone at Harper for the way they responded to my concerns and the way they worked to replace the torque converter in a quick and professional manner.

I don't live in the Knoxville area but have been so frustrated by dealerships near me. It was well worth the drive when I traded my Honda for a new Acura. I would not consider myself your typical Harper customer. I was not planning on buying a vehicle anytime soon when my wife called me Friday evening to let me know that the transmission was slipping on our 2006 Ford Expedition King Ranch. I was in NC on a business trip. I did a search on Autotrader and found (2) 2013 King Ranch Expeditions in Knoxville. Saturday morning I went to a well respected used car dealership on Parkside Drive to see the King Ranch Expedition they had. I loved the vehicle but they were not willing to work with me on the terms. They would only submit the deal to one credit union and could not get an answer until Monday. I immediately went to Harper Acura to see the 2013 King Ranch that they had. Their vehicle had approx. 10k less miles (still under warranty), they were asking $2k less, offered $1k more on my trade and submitted the deal to multiple lenders to get me a rate that was approx. 1.25% less than quoted at the other dealership. Not to mention they got the deal approved that morning with only$1k down. The other dealership was requiring $3600 down and no answer until Monday. I drove off the lot that morning a happy Harper customer. Mark Cauthen was very helpful throughout the initial process even though this was a used non-Harper vehicle. He then introduced me to Tom Pack the finance manager. Tom worked very hard, as mentioned above, to get the deal financed. That was not an easy task considering it was a Saturday and my current financial situation. Throughout the process Tom was very honest and made me feel like a friend, not just another deal. I am very grateful to Mark and Tom for all that they did to help me. I don't know if I will ever be in a position to buy a new vehicle from Harper but they will definitely be the first place I look when I am in the market for a new or used vehicle. Thanks Harper, you have a great team!

The team lead by Richard Tompa is fantastic including service manager Ray Panzera who took care of me at my most recent visit. Scheduling is easy, everybody is friendly and knowledgable, and what needs to be done is done right. I will be coming back as long as I own my car, and I highly recommend Harper Acura to all other Acura owners in the Knoxville TN area.

I checked three Acura dealers in TN and Harper was the best. By far. Other dealers played all the annoying old school 'what's it going to take to get you in this car?' schtick but Harper, specifically Bill Morton, were professionals and treated me and the transaction with respect. From initial contact to signing the papers and taking deliver, it was a great experience all around. Can't speak for the service department yet, but initial impressions are good. Overall, I recommend Harper Acura and Billy Morton.

My family has done business with Harper VW for years, but with this being my first car purchase on my own, I wanted something different and I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Acura, but throughout the entire process Mark Cauthen was quick to answer any questions I had about the car and ensured that it was the right fit for my needs. This was the fastest, easiest, most stress free car buying experience we have ever had anywhere! The salesman actually listened! No pressure. Just very personal, courteous service. We just bought so we have no experience with the service department yet so cannot make a comment. We would highly recommend Harper Accura based on the sales experience though. My husband is in sales, racks up ALOT of miles and was interested in a slightly used (4,800) mile vehicle - he told the salesman up front he was interested in a used vehicle with minimal miles at a good price and that is exactly what we got! We love our MDX! Steve was great to work with and we would buy from Harper Acura again. This was the least amount of time we have ever spent at a dealership to buy a vehicle, it was a no pressure sale and a very pleasant experience all around. The only thing better is driving the car and the Acura quality speaks for itself.

We were ready to move out of our Honda Odyssey in favor of a grown up car. After two weeks of searching, test driving, and fighting the desire for a sports car, I walked into Harper Acura. I confess I had a negative bias because I had heard negative things about arrogant sales staff, particularly toward young single women. (I'm neither young nor single but still want to see them treated well.). The rumors could not have been less accurate. Billy Morton is both passionate and informed. He was warm without being pushy. Pricing was fair (including trade in value) and not really an issue. I ended up leasing which I have never done before. He made even the math simple. Plus I love the car. No talking to the manager. No feeling that I got out haggled. None of it. Just a financial transaction with some excitement attached to it.

Upon entering the dealership, a couple salesman passed by my husband and I and never spoke; however the salesman who was with another customer stopped and asked if we had been assisted. We said no, and he said he would be happy to help as soon as he finished with his customer. After directing them to the finance office, he provided excellent customer service from the time of the test drive throughout the entire process, and followed up after purchase was finalized. I purchased my certified 2012 Acura TL Advance at this dealership. From the minute I pulled up for the first time, there were no pressure sales tactics and they let me take the car by myself on a test drive. We were able to agree on a fair price via email/phone, since I reside in Nashville. Once everything was agreed to, I grabbed a rental car and headed to Knoxville to pick up the car. Have had some issues with the RLX that have been a little disappointing but I've been very pleased with Richard Tompa's commitment to making it right and making sure I have a loaner during the process. Mark Cauthen , throughout the process was , on a daily basis, attentive but never overbearing, responsive with solutions and quickly produced a car and deal that fit my needs. We did most of the arrangements via telephone and email since I live out of state. Everything was in order on the day we finalized the sale and I was able to drive the car home immediately. R. Jay Prusick compiled financing options, also working with me via phone calls and emails that were purposeful and prompt. The finalized paper work was nicely organized and sent to me in a timely manner, thanks to Amy Scates. Mike Phelps in the Parts department was also extremely helpful and made sure our questions and concerns were addressed. My wife and I both own Acura's bought from Harper Acura. Each time we interact with Harper employees, be it front desk, service, sales, parts, finance, or support we are treated with respect. We always feel appreciated. Recently, my wife was shopping for a new car. She looked at / considered a wide range of vehicles online and via conversations with friends. She narrowed the list to three, then discounted one prior to driving it simply based on the fit and finish of the product on the lot. She then drove one vehicle, liked it and was likely going to buy it. She then decided to go on and drive the MDX (the second of the two she had narrowed her list too) just to be sure. Once she drove the vehicle, and experienced how we were treated at Harper, she completely discounted the other vehicle and only wanted the MDX. Fortunately, Harper had a MDX with the options she wanted on the lot that day. It was priced fairly, and we closed the deal in just a few minutes. No long negotiations, no haggling, no arm twisting, no "what can we do today", no screaming about low rates , just simple professional business done well.

Traveling to the Knoxville area from Nashville for the day I ran over something on I-75 causing a blow-out. I pulled off the interstate to change the tire and noticed that whatever I ran over not only pierced the tire but also put a hole on the inside of the rim about the size of a half-dollar. I called my mechanic back in Nashville and they recommeded I go to Harper Acura and ask for Mike or John in the parts department. As luck would have it a customer was there having a rim replaced on his wife's car (she had hit a pothole that bent the rim). Mike was able to swap out my irreparable rim with the one from that customer's wife's car and mounted a used tire he had on site. When the repair was completed Richard took my car for a test drive to make sure the vibration from the bent rim wasn't unbeareable at highway speeds. As I prepared to pay for the repair I was told there was no charge. If that doesn't define "customer service" I don't know what does.

Our first contact with Mark was over the phone inquiring about a Certified Preowned RDX listed on the website. He was very patient with our questions and understood our needs. We went the next afternoon (late afternoon I might add since they close early) to test drive one of the models. He explained the features and options, gave us a great deal on our trade and didn't give us our vehicle. You read right - he didn't give us our vehicle. It needed to be cleaned and some options added, it was past close on Saturday, so he put us in a loaner RDX rather than send us home in our trade. He also sent us home with the manuals for our new RDX so we could read them and play with the loaner and ask questions when we returned to pick up our "new to us" RDX. The RDX, as stated, is a Certified Preowned, but really it was a service loaner that was in perfect shape. Harper takes care of their customers by having service loaners this nice. Looking forward to doing business for years to come with Harper Acura - and hopefully Mark Cauthen.

Called ahead about the car we were interested in that we found on KBB's local listings. I knew exactly what I wanted and found one at Harper Acura. Mark had the car right up front and ready to take for a drive as soon as we arrived. Once we returned from our test drive, we sat and talked for a short while and in no time, we had a deal. No pressure and no trying to sway us into a car we weren't there to see. I really appreciated the courtesy involved with our experience. My husband had a concern about the engine, that was stated on the certified pre-owned maintenance sheet, and our salesman and the service department was very accommodating with letting us get it up on a lift and check things out. Everything turned out fine and we proceeded with our paperwork. From start to finish, we were there only a few hours and I drove my "new to me" pre-owned car. I would definitely do business at Harper Acura again and I would recommend them to my friends. We purchased a pre-owned 2007 Toyota Avalon Limited.

We contacted Harper Acura via the internet after not having any luck with finding the right inventory in our hometown. Steve Rhea immediately emailed us to confirm receipt of our inquiry (even on Sunday when the dealership was closed) and worked hard on numbers and quotes for us on a certified used MDX and a new MDX. We know that we can be difficult customers and very demanding, but Steve handled it all in stride and was incredibly patient and responsive over email communications and by telephone as we finalized the deal with him. While traveling from Nashville to Charlotte, the cover that slides over my TL's cupholder became jammed, thus preventing access to my wallet, phone, etc. A quick Google search showed Harper Acura in Knoxville, TN to be the closest Acura dealership and I thought I would try my luck. I stopped into the service center completely out of the blue without ever having stepped foot in Harper Acura before and I interacted with the utmost courteous, friendly and supremely helpful staff. Within minutes, my car was pulled into a service bay and fixed by a technician with an overall turnaround time of less than 5 minutes. Free of charge and with a smile, the Harper Acura team left me astounded with their customer service. Meanwhile, the genuinely friendly and pleasant Ray Panzera chatted with me and made me feel at home. I don't live in Knoxville, nor am I in the market for a new car, but if I was, Harper Acura would be receiving my business without a moments delay.

I feel like anyone who buys these cars is going to be "particular" so when my brand new TL developed a screeching brake problem there was only one person more annoyed than me. R. Jay tried two different procedures to try and remedy the problem but when those didn't work he explained that the third time was going to be a charm because they were putting all new rotors and pads on all four wheels. So after all of his care and concern I'm certain that I'll just buy cars from whichever dealership he works for, I'm sure it'll be a good one.

I came in to look at the TSX available on the lot. This was only my second time purchasing a car, so I was slightly nervous, as you always hear horror stories about people buying cars (especially relatively high end cars). I visited almost every dealership in Knoxville, as I wasn't totally sure what I wanted, but knew I would know when I found it. Every dealership was full of typical car salesmen (no thanks) who pushed and pushed and pressured to try to get you to buy. I was starting to get quite discouraged that I wouldn't find a car, or salesman that I would want to work with. I'd never been to Harper, and had only just started considering an Acura. The experience with Shane, in sales, and the finance department could not have been better. There was absolutely no pressure to do anything, which was such a welcome experience. They answered all of my questions, and calmed every concern. I ended up purchasing my car, and a great maintenance package, that night. I know someone who recently purchased a Ford, and their maintenance was over 3 times the price of mine - and I get a car to take while they are doing the oil changes AND they wash my car every time - the Ford owner has to wait, and his car comes back just as is. I would definitely recommend Shane and the rest of the team at Harper Acura to anyone looking to buy a car.

Shane Cochran was both friendly and professional. I felt that he was very honest with us through out our experience. I came in with no idea what I wanted and Shane was great in just letting me look around. I returned several times to drive and look some more and was in frequent contact with Shane as I got closer to my decision. When I figured out what I wanted, Shane was super helpful in trying to find the exact vehicle I wanted, and when I decided I wanted something different, Shane did everything he could to help me get it. This is the 4th Harper vehicle in my family (We've had 3 other Acuras and an Infiniti), and I love it here. When my last car was totaled, Harper was the first place I came. This was my first experience purchasing a car alone and I felt very comfortable doing it at Harper. Other dealerships kept trying to tell me what I needed or explain why I didn't need the 6 cylinder version of the vehicle I was considering. The process was transparent and I always got answers to my questions very quickly. I am so glad I stuck with Harper for my 3rd car.

Although the brand selected was Acura, we actually went to see and purchase the Fiat 500. As with the staff at Harper's Volkswagen, Harper's Acura staff were the best. I will have to admit that in all my years of buying cars (both new and used) the folks at Harper's are the best by far. From sales to service to management, they treat you like family whether you buy or not. Since the purchase of the Fiat we have moved back to Louisiana, I will truly miss the service folks at Harper's Volkswagen and the chance to get to know the service folks at Harper's Fiat.

He answered all my questions in a nice way and we agreed upon a price for my trade-in and a price for the new MDX without a lot of hassle so I enjoyed dealing with Mark and Harper Acura very much. After the trade I realized I should have bought a trailer hitch for the MDX and did not need running boards and Mark was very helpful in getting things switched out and I appreciated that helpfulness very much. Derek was very knowledgeable of the different models of cars we were interested in, as well as all the options and comparisons with other vehicles. At no time did he speak negatively of Acura's competition, but only offered comparative facts. Our trips to other dealers (representing other manufacturers including Harper Audi) revealed that most sales professionals did not posses near the vehicle knowledge as Derek. He was patient with our questions and allowed us to form our own opinions without any pressure. Our prior experience with Harper Acura service (we owned a 2001 MDX and put ~246,000 miles on it) has been very positive, so that was a major contributor to our willingness to use Harper for our next vehicle. We have another manufacturer vehicle, and our experience with that dealer's service department has been less than satisfactory. Needless to say, we won't be shopping for another vehicle of that manufacturer when it comes time. So give your service department a pat on the back, because they were just as instrumental in making the sale.

Working with Mark Cauthen on the purchase of my 2012 Acura MDX was a very enjoyable experience. I am from Asheville and spoke with Mark on the phone to arrange my trip to Knoxville to test drive the vehicle. Contrary to what I have gone through at other dealerships over the years, I truly enjoyed the buying experience at Harper Acura. Their salespeople take a low-pressure approach to their jobs and are very knowledgeable about the products they offer. Over the weekend someone hit my car with their truck tire which caused for large black markings on my car that I was unable to get off on my own. I called the dealership and spoke with R. Jay Prusik and he was extremely helpful and told me to come in so that they could look at the damage and help me decide what my best options would be. When I arrived, he informed me that in a few days I would have the opportunity to drop off my car to get buffed and re-painted which was good news, but I was still a bit aggravated that I had black marks on my car, so he went over and beyond his job duties and used a special product and some serious elbow grease and removed most of the marks on my car. I was beyond happy and looking forward to bringing my car back to be completely fixed. A few days later I dropped off my car, which is always such an easy process, and that afternoon when I spoke with R. Jay he said that they were able to buff out the rest of the damage and my car was as good as new. When I proceeded to ask him how much it would cost me, he simply replied nothing at all. At that moment, I was completely taken aback because he could have easily charged me for the time and effort that it took for them to work on my car, but he insisted that it was no big deal and that Harper Acura would be happy to absorb the cost this time. It is so wonderful to know that there are still wonderful employees and companies that believe in doing good for others. I have told so many people in the past 24 hours just how fantastic R. Jay was to work with and how easy and stress free it has been to work with Harper Acura and I am certain that I will continue to pass the word along about the outstanding customer service. I have a 2003 Acura MDX. When I started having problems with the car, a friend referred me to Harper Acura, specifically Kenny Rolen. I continue to go to Harper Acura because of Kenny. He is quite knowledgeable and has a sense of calmness that takes away my anxiety. He explains exactly what was wrong with the car and what the mechanics did to fix it. When he does quote an amount, he has been on point. I like dealing with Kenny because he has a great personality and deals with you as if you were his only customer. At times, I want to go back to my previous mechanic because he has a better price, but because of Kennys customer service skills and his knowledge, I take my car to Harper Acura.

My daughter's 2005 Acura TSX started acting crazy with the electrical system, then just died. It was after 8:00 PM when my daughter call. I called Richard Tompa, the service manager, on his personal phone, and he said it was probably a bad battery or the charging system and we arranged to have the car dropped off at the dealership that evening. The next morning Kenny Rolen, service advisor, and Richard had the car diagnosied as a bad alternator, arranged for a loaner car, when all had already been assigned to customer coming in for service that morning,and found a replacement alternator. The car was repaired, cleaned and washed, and ready to go by 2:00 that afternoon. Cost was very reasonable and a bargin considering all the person service. The Harper Acura Service Department always seams to try do the right thing, from letting worried parents call them on their personal phones, arrange for loaners when all were gone, and repairing cars quickly. They go above and beyond any service department I have ever experienced. Well done to Harper Acura Service Department. It give a parent an extra feeling of security.

I visited Harper Acura to try and purchase a pre owned TL. I've had some credit issues and was up front with these. My budget was also limited as I looked at a car that cost only 12,988$. Shane tried for several hours to get me this car and wasn't able due to its age and miles. I really wish he'd had something that would work for the deal. He even offered to check other lots owned by Harper to try and help me and my situation. I will recommend Shane and Harper to anyone I know or hear of looking for a new or used car.

My wife and I worked with Michael Boswell to purchase our new Acura MDX and were both very happy with the experience. We originally visited the dealership based on the high consumer report rating for the MDX and our experience with Honda products. Michael showed us the vehicles, answered or questions, and allowed us to take a test drive during the original visit with no sales pressure since we were looking at several different models and brands at that time. We returned to the dealership for a second, then third test drive while trying out 7 different SUVs at 5 different dealerships in Knoxville. The MDX is beautiful, but it won our hearts with the driving experience. Countless internet searches also indicated it was the best value for us based on quality, size, dependability, and horsepower.Michael was very relaxing to work with during each visit, allowing us the space we needed to consider this important decision, answering questions, and not pressing us at any time. The Business Staff completed their activities quickly, and Michael then spent substantial time providing instructions on how to use the various features on the MDX. The MDX is primarily my wife's vehicle, and he focused his attention on making sure that she asked the questions she had and understood the answers.Everyone we worked with at Harper was very friendly and professional, and I strongly recommend this dealership.

This has been the best experience I have ever had when buying a car. I am 58 and have bought many new and used cars and I cannot say enough how well I have been treated. My buying experience wat outstanding. Shane was knowledgeable, friendly, and was an honest man of his word. Everything he said was true. Every commitment he made he kept; even when he got me his best price. He even drove himself to Lexington to get my car.Shannon Harper was absoultely freindly and personable. He personally helped acquire my car from another dealer. He did his all to get me the price I was promised. And he delivered. He took the time to meet me personally....but that's not all.I will say I am unhappy with Acura motor company. They would not even look at the damage my car experienced to the windshield. The windshield cracked after I had only driven 1200 miles. I firmly believe the crack was because of defective auto glass or something that happened before I ever touched the steering wheel, but this could not be proven. And rightfully so, Acura believed it cracked because of impact that occurred after I owned the car, which I disputed. Anyway, when Harper representatives asked the Acura agent to evaluate the situation, Acura flat refused. They would not even look at the car, and they refused to even consider the warranty.But Shannon got involved and agreed to replace the windshield where Harper bore some of the cost and I bore some of the cost. Really, this was the only impartial and fair solution. Anyway Shannon offered this compromise without my having to ask or complain. I will refer anyone I know to Harper.I will say I am very disappointed in Acura agents (not Harper but Acura). This is truly a case of the multi-billion dollar company screwing the little guy. I had never bought a luxury car before in my life. I was so pleased, and then Acura stuck it to me. Actually Acura stuck it to Harper too. This should have been a warranty claim, but no way would Acura even consider it. They were too busy to even come look. They could not care less and would not pay one dime.That said, thank you so much Shannon Harper. You treated me like you would like to be treated. You went out of you way and paid with your dealership's money to help me out. And kudos to Shane. Don't forget Shane. I was extremely pleased with him as well.

In fact I left and was impressed that when I called back was able to make the deal over the phone. Bob is very easy to work with and makes sure you're aware of all information about their products and services. Being an Engineer, I ask MANY questions and Bob always has the product knowledge to provide satisfactory answears. The other Staff, Sales-Manager and Finance Manager, are Friendly and Effecient. We really appreciated the time and attention to detail from Rob! He listened to the questions we had and concerns. Most sales reps only want to sell a vehicle and move on, Rob went out of his way to help us get the right vehicle. My wife had a color combination she wanted but was willing to take another vehicle in stock, but rather than let us settle for a vehicle He went out of his way to find us the vehicle we wanted. We are residents of Indiana, but spend a few months in the Knoxville area. We began looking for a new vehicle, but could not decide between a Honda Odyssey and the Acura RDX. Rob did a very good job of helping us make our decision and helped us purchase the RDX which took a few months as we were waiting for the new 2013 RDX to go into production. We had a pleasant morning yesterday purchasing a lease for an Acura TL. The atmosphere in the dealership was friendly, unhurried and relaxing, and Mr. Fiske took great trouble in explaining the features of the various models. He also did an excellent job of explaining the settings and controls of the car we settled on, and even set up the garage opening feature of the car. We left with the feeling that we would be well looked after. Ms. Patrick dealt with the financial side of things in a friendly and efficient manner. Last but not least, we are very happy with the car.

We have dealt with Rob since 2006 when we bought our first Acura from him. He is great to deal with, is very responsive, courteous, and is not "high pressure". My wife & I recently purchased a new 2012 TSX from Harper Acura. This was the first car weve purchased from Harper and the first Acura weve ever owned. In comparison to other dealerships that weve encountered in the past, I must say this was certainly one of the more pleasant buying experiences I can remember! I had put in a CarFinder Search several months ago via the website & from our first contact, Andy was extremely helpful & patient. I was very particular with the specific model, features, & color combination that I was looking for in my new car. After several months of searching without luck, Andy offered to specially bring in a new TSX from another dealership for me to look atno strings attached. Later that week, Andy promptly notified me that the car was available to test drive. The following night after work I stopped by the dealership and was warmly greeted. I was allowed to take the car out (unaccompanied) for almost an hour-long test drive and wasnt even asked for a copy of my drivers license! The next morning despite our excitement over the new car, my wife & I were dreading the negotiation process that was sure to come when buying a car. However, Andy and his manager Lynnwood made the process as painless as possible by giving us a fair value on our trade-in and letting us negotiate a good deal on a great car. Never stooping to harsh sales tactics, Andy made us feel that we were treated with respect throughout. Taking delivery of the car was also as smooth & seamless. Everything was complete in less than 1 hour including signing final paperwork. Upon delivery, the car had a full tank of gas, was fully detailed inside & out and looked absolutely gleaming! Andy also took the time to help set up the Bluetooth HFL & memory seat positions and walk me through the rest of the cars long list of features. I was thoroughly impressed! Harper Acura truly holds itself to a higher standard of service & excellence and I would definitely recommend Harper Acura to others!

My first experience with the service department at Harper Acura was last year when it was time to have the 30k mile service on my 2009 Acura TSX. I decided to go to Harper Acura because my local Acura dealer in Chattanooga wanted to charge me quite a bit more for the service. I'm happy I took my car to Harper Acura to get serviced. The service at Harper Acura was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I have been going there for service on my TSX ever since. I like the 27-point inspection they perform when I get my oil changed. They give me a detailed checklist when they are finished and go over it with me. That gives me a piece of mind to know they do the inspections. The service department at Harper Acura is the best I've ever experienced, and I've been to a lot. I just had an oil change and tires rotated today. Kenny, the service consultant, was very friendly and helpful. I'm satisfied with the service I received, as usual. I live in Chattanooga, so it's a little bit of a drive for me. But the service I get is well worth the drive. I plan to continue taking my TSX to Harper Acura for service. I've also had good experiences with the parts department at Harper Acura as well. I'm a satisfied customer and I highly recommend Harper Acura. :)

I had went to Harper Acura to look at a 2010 Acura TL that I had seen online. I was greeted by Andy Dean in a timely fashion. I already had an idea of what I wanted but he still answered all of my questions and was great to work with overall. He made the transaction of trading in my vehicle quick and painless. I recently had service done on my 2004 TL. Kenny and Chris in the service department have both assisted me with my service at different times over the past 7 years. They are always helpful, informative and prompt with my service. I would not take my car to anyone else but to this dealership. I just purchased a new 2012 TL. Michael Boswell was my sales representative. He was very helpful, always professional and patient with me. I did not make it easy. It took me 3 months to make my decison. He never tried to push anything on me, but rather worked very hard to help me find the car that was right for me. I feel he went above and beyond what one would expect from their sales representative. I would and have recommended this dealership and Michael to others. Angela Patrick in the finance department is also exceptional. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. She made the paper work go very easy and quickly. Everyone I have encountered at Harper has been very nice. I would not buy a car anywhere else. I would give this dealership an A+.

The service department is great and I usually work with Kenny Rolen. Kenny takes great care of me and my two current acuras (an MDX and RSX). I can and do call Kenny with service questions and he helped me with information about acura cars when I purchased two used acuras for my son over the past two years. They even inspected one of the cars before I bought it to make sure I had a good idea of the condition. I have all my service done at the dealership and even purchase my tires there (they are competitive on prices and know which tires work best on these vehicles).

I just had my 04 mdx in today for service. A check engine light had come on. Upon calling the service department, I was assured that it was not an emergency, and an appointment was scheduled 2 days later. I always feel at ease when taking my car to Harper Acura, thanks especially to Kenny Rolen. He always fully explains the details before, during and after any visit. I also appreciate the loaner cars as it allows me to continue my day without a hitch. Harper Acura service department has serviced my car for 7 years running, and will for many years to come.

Our garage currently stables three Harper Acura vehicles. All services are completed at Harper Service Department. They are helpful, friendly, and always prompt. They let me know what services are needed and when. When a problem arises, out of the blue, they have assisted me without an appointment. I would highly recommend their service department.

I CAME IN TWO WEEKS AGO WITH A FLAT TIRE IN A TERRIBLE RAIN AT 5:50pm. Kenny could of said and I would of been happy , we'll put a new tire on your car in the morning , we are closing at 6 PM. But not Kenny, he and Chris took my car right to the back , put a new tire on my 2005 Accura TL and I was out of ther at 6:10 PM. As long as I live in this area, Harper will be the only dealership I will buy a car from, because of guys like Kenny. My wife has a 2004 MDX and she thinks the world of Kenny. Looking for a new vehicle, I have been to several dealerships and met several helpful salesmen, but none were as impressive as Michael, who assisted us while at Harper Acura. He was professional, informative and personable, and he truly went the extra mile to ensure we got everything out of our visit and out of the purchase. He never product pushed, but rather demonstrated the quality of what we were buying. He gave us time to think over the purchase and stayed late to allow my husband to bring the vehicle home to me. I will recommend that my friends and family visit Michael for any future car purchase. While at Harper, I also met Shannon who was friendly and helpful and who took the time to introduce himself and to ensure we were getting everything we needed in our visit. I also spoke to several other employees (in both the financing and service departments) who were all extremely nice. Now that we're at home, I couldn't be happier with our purchase. The car is like new, and I look forward to driving it for years to come.

I was very disapointed. They showed me what they thought my car was worth but did not show me what their car was worth. When I asked to see the book and showed them what thier car was worth they were not interested in talking to me after that.

My husband and I were looking for an SUV when we drove up to Harper's lot. We ended up purchasing a certified pre-owned Acura TL and Michael Boswell was the main reason. Before we came to Harper, we had been to 10 other dealerships and dealt with plenty of pushy salespeople. Our experience with Michael Boswell at Harper was unlike any other car buying experience...in a good way. He was so friendly and showed us some of the Acura SUV's, but then showed us the TL. We loved it. He knew so much about the car and was so informative. He was patient with us, answered all our questions, and went the extra mile to get our business. Once purchased, they detailed the car, filled up the gas tank, and showed me what every button did. Michael even set up the bluetooth for me! Since the sale, he has called on a regular basis to check and make sure I still love my car. I would recommend Michael Boswell and Harper Acura to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Acura TL. This was the first time I opted to purchase a pre-owned vehicle versus a new one. I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the car and its overall performance. This is the first time I have purchased an Acura and I absolutely love it. In addition to the quality of the car, I received exceptional service from Michael Boswell. Michael made me feel completely at ease and was very knowledgeable of the car I was purchasing. He really went the extra mile in taking the time to show me all of the features that my car is equipped with and how to use those features. Michael also went above and beyond regarding the level of service I expected when he pointed out a couple of places on the car that I didn't initially notice. These are small dents on the hood and side of the car. He wanted to make the overall purchase experience as if I was purchasing a brand new car and made the committment to have the dents taken care of. I can honestly say that this is the best purchase experience I have ever had. I will definitely contact Michael for my next Acura purchase and will recommend him and Harper Acura to all of my friends and family.

I have heard from so many people how great of a deal I received at Harper Acura. The sales member I worked with, Michael Boswell, really earned my business. When I was in the process to go and purchase another vehicle, he found the perfect match for me. In order to ensure I could pick up my vehicle Michael stayed around after normal operating hours to accommodate my late arrival. I couldn't be happier about my new vehicle purchase. They made the purchase and financing so easy and quick. My home address was even programmed into the car's GPS to take me home after I filled out all of my paperwork. This was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I found a used Acura that I was interested in on the website, contacted the dealership, was put in touch with Michael and could not have been treated any better. I had been looking for a car for a couple of months and had actually almost bought from Carmax the week before. So glad I didn't. When I actually went to the dealership and met with Michael I knew the service and integrity at Harper Acura was what I was looking for. I test drove the car on a Saturday afternoon, called Monday morning to make an offer and they had it ready to go that afternoon. Not only did they clean my car until it looked brand new, they filled the gas tank, changed the oil and then gave me a set of new tires because the technician noticed two of the tires were showing a lot of wear when they were changing the oil! Who else does this? And all of this was after they had accepted my offer to buy the car at a terrific price. I am sold on this dealership. I will be using them to service my car, and will no doubt be looking there for my next car.

Our experience with Harper Acura was a pleasure from the very beginning. We were greeted professionally by Andy and he immediately demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the vehicles and their numerous features. He was very patient in answering questions and explaining features and options. Once we had decided on a vehicle and selected the optional equipment he had the vehicle prepared and waiting for us when we came to pick it up. The finance manager was also very friendly and efficient, even though we paid cash for the MDX. The sale paperwork was ready and took very little time to complete.Andy followed up after we took delivery and answered several questions we had regarding specific features and settings. He did personalize the settings for driver position when we took delivery.The price offered was not the lowest we had found in the southeast, but we preferred a local dealer to an Atlanta dealer, and the price was very reasonable.Overall this was the most pleasant vehicle purchasing experience we have had, and we have purchased quite a few cars and trucks.

The salesperson, Andy Dean responded to my email and provided information about his used inventory. I was especially interested in a TL but when all of the used TL were damaged in a hale storm, Andy advised that he would look for another TL. Two days later, he emailed about a 2008 that was coming off a lease. The customer had leased the vehicle from Harper Acura and had his service done at the dealership. After a test drive, I decided this was the car and it was just a matter of receiving a great deal. Andy spoke with his sales manager and came back with a great deal. Andy was always courteous, truthful and a pleasure to work with. When he said that he would do something, he followed through. He offered to order new floor mats for the car. He made sure that four new tires were put on the car, since the front tires had considerable wear and that the 30,000 miles service was performed before I took position of the car. Believe me when I say that I hate dealing with car salesmen. This was the best experience that I have ever had buying a car. I will tell all my friends about my experience to recommend Andy Dean and Harper Acura to everyone.
