I was searching for a Used Ford Escape and Harrisonburg Ford came highly recommended. The salesman I dealt with was great, he worked at the Honda Dealership, I started the process there. The Ford Dealership seemed to not want to make a deal on the Escape the I liked. So I walked out and bought one at another dealer. I have been very happy with the car and the dealership.

Having purchased a new 2013 Fiesta and discovering major transmission recall problems, we were not prepared to be patient. Knowing what we know now, and the manner in which our problem would eventually be addressed and corrected, we could have saved ourselves much doubt and concern. Our vehicle now runs as well as we ever hoped it could, thanks to the special efforts of Ron and the folks in service and their acquisition of a new and necessary component. After all that had taken place, it would be very hard to buy a car anywhere else.

I hate nothing more than walking into a dealership to purchase a vehicle. My past experiences have not been the best, to say the least. Dave Simmons, and the team at Harrisonburg Ford, were ready for me. As soon as I walked into the showroom with two toddlers they were quick to their feet to identify a vehicle and get us on our way. As we asked questions they were answered, given responses that made sense, and a deal that we could not pass up. Finance was a breeze and everyone was helpful! We were in and out before my toddlers got impatient- a testament to itself. Thank Dave and team for making this a positive experience. You are good at what you do!

Worst place to buy a car. They lie and lie to you just to make money and get you to buy a car, dishonest people. My mom and dad bought a Ford Escape for 22000$ and they were told by the sales person Justin that the car has navigation in it. This navigation feature is why they bought this car. My parents are not rich people. Long Story short, turns out there is no navigation at all in the car. Ok I went there and they just laughed in my face and offered to call GM CEO and complain. Horrible experience.

Looking at a vehicle that was priced $4,000 over blue book value. After negotiating and reaching a agreement to meet in the middle, they changed their mind and wanted me to make up the $2,000 up in cash for down payment. Their reason for not negotiating was, this is farming country and there is people that will pay over book value for it. Sheer greed kept them from making a sale. I wasted 2 days trying to get this vehicle, run my wife's and my credit after we negotiated to then be told afterward that they couldn't do the deal they said they would do. If you go here check to make sure you are not getting ripped off.

Everyone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I believe they were fair as far as my trade in and pricing for the new vehicle. I have used their service department in the past and will be taking my new Explorer there for service as well. Calvin missed lunch to help me get everything taken care of. Justin Bowers is very professional and knowledgeable salesmen. This is the second vehicle that he has sold us. We told Justin what we wanted and he told us that the owner will be turning his vehicle in shortly, he will keep us in mine. When it came in Justin called us and we came to see it, he knew we would want it. After getting it certified, we came to get the Expedition. Justin talked and showed us every feature of the vehicle, outstanding knowledge of the vehicle. Great organization of the financial paperwork, signing the screen and little paperwork for the signatures. Justin Bowers is down to earth and treated us as family. Will continue dealing with Justin in years to come.

I have purchased from these folks before, and that's why I cane back again when I was looking for a truck. Justin Bowers had just gotten in a truck and showed me exactly what I was looking for. The pricing was better than any "internet price" offered at otger dealers. There were no hidden fees, no rebates that I might not qualify for, and I got what I expected on my trade. If you're looking for a vehicle go see them. It's worth the drive.

Our salesman was great. He wasn't pushy and was easy going. At one point during the test drive we forgot that we were on a test drive. He was that easy to be around. Very friendly, and also very professional. The buying process was easy going as well. He made sure we knew what was happening at all times and we never felt pressured about anything. He definitely knew about the car and explained anything that we needed to know in detail. My fiance and I will definitely be back to do business with him again and I've advised a few people to talk to them when they are going to buy a car.

Calvin at Harrisonburg Ford did an excellent job. I had been looking all over town for a mid size SUV for a decent monthly price, and he found it immediately. No pressure or hassle with any objections I had with the vehicle. I was able to get everything I wanted for a lot less than other dealers. Cut the guess work out, deal with Harrisonburg Ford!

Harry Scott has also helped us a few times and he is also top notch. Overall, I would rate them probably one of the best groups to deal with. We were returning from vacationing in South Carolina to our home in Lancaster, PA and experienced a flat tire on Rte81. How lucky we were to be near an exit and to find Harrisonburg Ford! Sales Consultant, Dave Simmons, was so helpful to us during this stressful experience. Even though the dealership service center was closed on this late Saturday afternoon, Dave directed us to a towing service and a nearby shop to buy a new tire. Everyone was so helpful and made this bad experience as good as it could be.

Having purchased our new Ford Fiesta with optimism and anticipation, we were surprised to receive two recall letters shortly thereafter, and disappointed by what seemed to be a lack of concern on the part of service for what was a major mechanical issue. The car gained mileage and the issue continued until we utilized the skills of one HARRY SCOTT. Long story..short. He never "put us off", but listened, responded, and acted. We knew we were communicating with a representative who understood our dilemma, was able to see the situation through our eyes and willing to take the next step. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Congratulations to Harrisonburg Ford and the Ford Motor Company for it's association with Harry Scott, a man of obvious principle.

I dealt with Justin Bowers, Wes Sharp and Jim Bergquist. I told them what I wanted and where I needed to be with the monthly payment...they got me within $10 of my payment request. Everything else was "SPOT-ON"! This dealership is the all around best. From the moment I stepped on the lot they have been nothing but kind and helpful. I just bought my second car from then and everything is well taken care of and inspected very nicely. I bought my 2015 mustang gt and being 19 that's a big deal to dealerships but these guys stayed up till 2 in the morning working on it for be to get it. Working with banks, ect. They stop at nothing to make sure you are satisfied and happy. They are more like family than a dealership every time I walk in everyone's happy and having a great time. No drama or hate fullness. Those of us who have bought a vehicle in the past, is probably familiar with sales pressure, sales tactics, and short-term friendliness. You know, as soon as the contract is signed and you walk out the door, so does the courtesy. We all hate that part, right?? Well my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the casual, no pressure, yet super friendly service we received from David Cain!!! I hadn't purchased a vehicle in almost 11 years. I wasn't a fan of looking because I always felt like a deal for the salesman, not a person valued at what they were truly looking for. It was late one evening I decided to take the plunge and finally look. David Cain greeted me at Harrisonburg Ford like an old friend. He spent the next several hours focused on me and what "I" wanted. I wasn't sure who or what I was more impressed with, David Cain or the selection of vehicles I was interested in. Of course I effortlessly, purchased the vehicle, I ultimately wanted because of David, but what needs to be said is this, You don't usually put the words salesman, trustworthy, home town feel, in the same sentence. If your salesman happens to be David Cain, you better believe you can use all those words, with an exclamation at the end! I love my new 2013 Ford Edge. I love the experience I had even more! Truly our experience buying a vehicle from Harrisonburg Ford has been the best my wife and I have ever had. We are always given a great welcome by our sales representative David Cain when arriving at Harrisonburg Ford. He is ready to give us his full attention and questions our needs when visiting. When we bought our new F-150 David didn't give up until he explained all the features and we knew how they all worked. I only stopped by the dealership to look around. I had no intentions of buying just yet. David came out to help me and we started discussing color preference and I stated I didn't like tan interior but I also have a child so I was going towards a darker color. He told me he had the perfect car for me, we walked into the show room and I automatically knew it was the perfect dream car. It had everything I wanted without even having to tell him what I preferred. I walked off the lot that day with a brand new never driven 2015 fusion. It's the best car I have ever owned. We purchased a 2015 250 Ford Transit Van and had a great experience dealing with Paulo Alvez who gives wonderful customer service and is on top of everything from the moment you meet with him and long after you drive away. We were also needing a trailer hitch installed on the van and he personally made the appointment and called us. We can't speak highly enough of him and will definitely be referring others to him. We absolutely love our 250 Ford Transit Van and are wondering how we had been living without it! Paulo makes everything easy and painless and we hope to be dealing with him in years to come.

Took our Ford Escape back to dealer to have Armour All applied to rear of vehicle, which had been replaced from an accident. Eddie was super, even cleaned the inside of the car and detailed the exterior. He was eager to please and did a great job in a short amount of time. He could not have been more customer friendly. Fortunately for me - David Cain although with working with other customers - took time to take my call and saved me from wasting my time with the another dealer in wood bridge VA. By simply making me feel like I was the only customer at the moment and wanting to meet my needs and make ME happy - I am know the proud owner of my 1st FORD (sorry DAD) - Ford Fusion - Hybrid to be exact. AND I AM LOVIN IT!! Worked with James over the phone from a whole week (another state!) to get a car ready for me at a pretty good price. Additionally, when there was an error involved in the pricing (in my favor) I had been quoted, Harrisonburg Ford honored a verbal agreement I had with my salesman. While it may have cost me an hour at the dealership to get the whole thing sorted out, I appreciate the honesty and integrity that I experienced from the staff I interacted with. Everyone thinks they can prepare for what their next car buying experience will be like, but it never goes as planned. We were happy this happened to us because our experience was just great. No pressure, real folks to talk to, a pleasure to spend the afternoon there. We were offered refreshments, were greeted by everyone who walked by and freely asked any questions that we had. Everyone was down to earth, and back and forth negotiations were stress free. We left with our Ford Expedition and drove the 2 1/2 hours back to Northern Virginia with smiles on our faces. In a world where car dealers are known for high pressure tactics, relentless phone calls, and emails; Harrisonburg Ford stands out in that their staff is knowledgeable, respectful of the customer, and sensitive to what the needs of the customer are. I recently bought a 2014 Ford Focus ST from Harrisonburg Ford where Chris Simmons was my sales associate. Upon meeting Chris and explaining what I wanted, Chris worked diligently to try to find the exact car for me. The process took about 2 weeks of working with other helpful Ford dealers as well as some less than helpful dealers in the region. Ultimately, a car matching the majority of my original specifications was found and made available to me. The car that I ended up purchasing was originally out of my price range, but Chris Simmons and one of the Sales Managers, Rob Minnich, were able to put together a deal that placed a higher spec car firmly into my price range. Although the process took longer than Chris and I had anticipated, my decision to work with Chris Simmons and Harrisonburg Ford was not only the right one, but also carried the best possible outcome. I believe that any successful sales or service company puts emphasis on customer relationships rather than pushing products onto customers. In my experience, Chris Simmons and Harrisonburg Ford are a great example of how great customer service produces a low-pressure and enjoyable car buying experience.

Great dealer with a unbelievable lifetime powertrain warranty. If you are in the market to get a new car/truck I would say give them a call. I was actually in another dealer buying a ford focus, when Justin Bowers called me and told me he could not only give me a good deal on the car, but help me out with a lifetime powertrain warranty. The pa dealer I was at let me walk without making the deal, because they could not meet the powertrain warranty. I made the 5 hour trip from pa to harrisonburg just for the warranty, and I was not disappointed!

I thought I got a great price for the mustang I ordered & I got all the rebates they promised me upon arrival. Paulo was very nice to work with & is very personable. It was a pleasure to work with him. Jim was willing to try to get me a better interest rate, but I had already secured a loan. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the illuminated gear shift I wanted on the car wasn't ordered & now I have to take the car back to have it installed.I would deal with them again & recommend them to other people. I liked the fact that they wasn't pushy about purchasing the extended warranties.

We are from Kentucky and were returning after a visit with our son in Vienna. Our truck broke down on the side of the road about 30 miles away from Harrisonburg. I found the name of the Ford dealer there on my phone, and when we called they gave us the name of a tow truck company. When we got to the dealership with the truck, the gentleman in the service department, whose name I don't remember, was very concerned and accomodating, When we discovered we would have to wait til late the next day (which was a Friday) for the part needed, he tried to find us a car to rent so we could continue our trip home and return after the weekend. That didn't pan out, so Justin Bowers, who had been talking to my husband about a vehicle they had on the showroom floor (which just happened to be the vehicle my husband planned on trading the truck for later this spring) drove us to and helped us get checked into a hotel. My husband and I discussed and researched the Explorer and decided if the price was right on both the new vehicle and the trade in, we would purchase the vehicle the next day. Justin came to the hotel and picked us up the next morning. We test drove the vehicle, and after some discussion, reached the price we had decided on the night before. We left that afternoon in a 2014 Ford Explorer, which we absolutely love!! Justin was very thorough in explaining the features, and spent the time to set up our phones, install the door code, and several other things to make our life easier!! We feel he definitely went above and beyond in helping us. We spent a lot of time in the dealership, both while waiting to see what was wrong with our truck, and then purchasing the new vehicle. Everyone, and I mean, everyone, in that dealership at some point spoke to us. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. I have never been anyplace where every person in the business treated their customers with such friendliness and respect. We won't be purchasing another vehicle for quite a while, but I would definitely consider stopping there again after a visit with our son to see what they had available when we do decide to purchase. This dealership has definitely set the bar high for all the other dealerships!! We couldn't have asked or expected to be treated any better than we were!!

My eleven year old was with us for this process and Justin went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable and happy. I had planned to get several prices on a new C-Max. Harrisonburg Ford was the first place I checked, other than the internet, and I had the good fortune to connect with Justin Bowers. Justin quoted us a great price, better than I expected and in fact so good that I didn't check any further. He also made some exceptions for us, arranging for the sale to go through even though we will not be here when the car comes in and in fact won't arrive back home until about 3 months after the car is delivered.Working with Justin has been a good experience.

The entire experience was smooth sailing, especially since my bf and I were on a budget (both time and money wise). We walked straight into the office and from the get go, Justin took us and our situation seriously and didn't try to pressure us into a vehicle that was out of our budget or our needs. Even with all the odds stacked, the process was enjoyable and almost felt like a social gathering rather than a purchase. We fell in love with our vehicle and having to part with it for a day just so it could have Armour protection coated on, it was quite difficult! I went to this dealer as they have a great reputation for service and follow up service after the sale. I was not disappointed the salesman Justin Bowers was very thorough, he found exactly the car I wanted at the price I wanted. the car was ready when I went to pick it up with fuel. I had to take my 2 year old when I went to finish the paperwork and he even entertained her! My wife and I had done an internet search for vehicles which led us to Harrisonburg Ford. Before we had even visited the dealership I had submitted our credit application and the information on the vehicle we were considering. Shortly after I was contacted by James Ward. James is very upbeat and positive, but not overbearing. I contacted James on a Saturday morning and told him we would be there to test drive the vehicle. He told us that he would have it ready. When we arrived as promised the vehicle was on the Vip Pad. We test drove worked out the numbers and it was a done deal. James is an awesome salesman. I will be contacting him in the future for any vehicle needs I have. Overall I would recommend Harrisonburg Ford to anyone. We even got to speak to the owner for a few minutes. We spent the majority of the four weeks it took to find the right vehicle working with James. James is the reason we kept coming back. He was assertive enough to let me know that he wanted to sell me a vehicle, but was not crazy car-salesman pushy. He understood that we were working with a budget, and worked to keep us within it. Harry helped to support James by providing additional expertise on Ford vehicles and taking a managerial interest in our case and helping us stick to our budget. Jim did his business manager magic, found the best creditor availalbe, explained the paperwork and made sure all was good to get us into our vehicle. The team dynamic present at Harrisonburg Ford outweighs what I've seen at any other dealer. We'll probably be back in the next month or so for a vehicle for my wife.

I took my Explorer Sport to be serviced there for 8 years. I had no doubt that when I was ready to buy a new car that I would get it from them. Although I didn't need a new car, I was ready for one. However, I never felt pressured to buy a car and I never felt uncomfortable during the purchase process. My husband and I drove an hour to see a car we liked from the internet. Everything up to the negotiation went great. Justin is an amazing guy and made me want to buy whatever he had to offer. I hope nothing bad happens to him as a result of this but his manager was out of control. When we put in our offer we were clear that we couldn't go much higher than our offer because we had cash. By the second counter offer the manager had come down $750.00 and I was almost ready to buy. I was uncomfortable because the car made strange chugging noise. The manager came out with Justin on the third offer when I didn't budge, he looked mad. Knowing how dealerships will tack on fees after the price is agreed I asked if they could include the title and fees in the price and the manager said no angrily. We said we were going to dinner and think on it and the manager got really mad. He said that as an American he is proud to pay his taxes and I should pay mine. He said some things about the U.S. and what it stands for and insinuated that not giving him what he wanted made me a bad American. My husband and I are veterans and currently serve, we always pay our taxes he should not have said those things. He raised his voice and would not stop even after we told him that we liked the car and we'd still consider the car. We walked away quietly to avoid a scene and he yelled at us until we were near the door, and then when he into the back room. We saved our money so we could buy cash rather than relying on debt and he couldn't understand why the extra few hundred dollars was so important to me. That is a load of hay for my farm. This American is not happy with how she was treated by the manager at this dealership. Shame on him.

Had a great experience with Justin Bowers and Harrisonburg Ford. This is the second vehicle I purchased in the last 9 months form Justin. My wife had an 11 year old mini van that was starting to nickel and dime us so I sold her van and Justin found us the 2012 Ford Fusion Sport we were looking for the very same day I sold her van. I filled out the credit app on their online website and they had the car waiting for my wife and I. Justin took time to go over the controls and navigation/ audio programing with my wife. The 0% interest rate allowed us to purchase the extended warranty and the interior protection and stay within our budget. I would highly recommend Justin Bowers and Harrisonburg Ford.

I am extremely happy with Harrisonburg Ford. TT Holsapple went above and beyond his require duties to assist us with getting our new Escape, Jamie Fellers was most helpful and work so hard to help us to get what we really wanted. This week we took our Escape back to service, because of road debre and TT Holsapple took the escape back to service an it was repaired within 30 minutes. I would highly recommend Harrisonburg Ford, everyone there has been great.

From first contacting the dealership through their website to the last handshake before getting into my truck it was first class treatment all the way through the whole process. I couldnt have asked for a better experience in buying a vehicle. I would highly recommend Harrisonburg Ford and Jamie Fellers.

I was treated with respect from the time I walked in the door. I have found when a woman walks into a car dealer or mechanic area we are treated as if we do not know what we want I did not get that here. These gentlemen are great. When I returned with my husband I was still included in the whole process of us purchasing the Ford Escape. I will refer this dealership to any one that I know. Everybody from the salesman to the man who washed the Edge bent over backwards to accommodate us. Especially Dave Simmons the salesman, his insight into the operation of the car was extremely helpful in our decision as what we wanted. Justin Bowers who was helpful in showing the operation of Edge Limited. The financing people was great working with us. WE went to other dealerships and was not treated nearly as knowledgeable as Harrisonburg Ford. We live 52 miles from Harrisonburg Ford and other Ford dealerships are a lot closer to 22657. Very helpful with explaining what vehicle would be best. Great personality, made me feel like I've known him for a long time and made me feel very welcomed. Helped as much as he could with my payments so I could afford it. I will would definitely tell familt and frieends about Harrisburg Ford, also what car dealer I had! Amazing Job!

I was browsing around for an older SUV and came to Harrisonburg Ford to look around. I worked with a friendly young man named Jamie. He took his time with me and did his best to show me all avaliable options. He seemed to really know his way around a vehicle. I knew that when looking at used vehicles, things couldn't be "good as new" and Jamie was both helpful and honest about the vehicles I was shown and what my options were. He seemed less interested in rushing me through to make a sale and focused on really helping me find what I was looking for and needed. If you want a pleasent, informative, and honest expereince looking for a vehicle, I reccommend working with Jamie. A+ Service!

I came to Harrisonburg Ford with the intentions of trading in my old Pontiac for something a little newer. I was greeted by Jamie, who proceeded to give me a tour of the lot and show me a wide range of about 10 to 12 different cars that might suit my interest. Jamie was very informative and energentic. He was very professional and, while clearly interested in making a sale, didn't try to sell me on the first car I mentioned just so he could line his pockets. I appreciated that, as well as his patience, as we were looking at different cars for at least an hour before he let me test-drive the new Ford Focus. I left that parking lot with a greater understanding about cars and have told all my friends that, if they ever needed a car, they should definitely get one from Jamie. I was immensely impressed with how he handled himself and his care for the customer. In a business filled with sleazy salesmen who are just trying to make a quick deal, it's nice to know that there are people like Jamie who are considerate and knowledgable and make customers like me feel comfortable with our minds at ease.
